of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you. I pray
for my Jewish brothers and sisters every day. I pray
for their leadership as well as ours, that they would
do God's will in accordance with God's plan. I pray
for America, that God would shed his grace upon us,

that He would godd esus and guide us, and that
we would truly be a nation for the Lord. I
pray for the people being persecuted in Iran and other
places by their corrupt regimes. So much, so much corruption
and injustice in the world right now, it's almost overwhelming

to consider. I pray for the fatherless, widows, the persecuted,
in the martyr, the poor and spirit the bound and
the oppressed, and those who are victims of injustice. I
pray against the slaughter of the innocents, both in and
out of the womb, because folks, they're killing them outside
the womb too. I pray against the spirit of the Antichrist,

which has caused religious persecution, anti Semitism. The church is
being persecuted. Our Jewish brothers and sisters are being persecuted.
At the same time, we are missing and exploited children,
victims of human sex trafficking. So many awful dermonic things
going on in the world, and we as a church

need to stand up against it. I pray for divine wholeness,
health and healing in me and you, whatever your need
is right now, in the name of your Shuahamashiah Jesus
the Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I
pray for your healing. I pray for your rest and

I pray that you would return to your divine design.
I pray for the remnant to wake up. Let's answer
the call to action. Let's get busy about our father's business,
that all the plans that he's given would be blessed,

Okay, go with me to Ephesians chapter five, starting verse fifteen.
I'm going to be reading from the amplified follow along
however you desire, whatever you have, open your bibles, your apps,
whatever it is. Therefore, see that you walk carefully living
(07:31):
life with honor, purpose, and courage, shunning those who tolerate
and enable evil. Not as the unwise, but as wise, sensible, intelligent,
discerning people. Making the very most of your time on earth,
recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it
(07:53):
with wisdom and diligence. Because the days are filled with evil, Therefore,
do not be full, foolish and thoughtless, but understand and
firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is. Do
not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness, it's corruption, stupidity,
and I'll add debauchery. But be filled with the Holy
(08:16):
Spirit and constantly guided by Him. Speak to one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise by
singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord,
always giving thanks to God the Father for all things,
in the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. Being
(08:38):
subject to one another out of reverence for Messiah, making
the very most of our time on earth, recognizing and
taking advantage of each opportunity, using it with wisdom and diligence. Why,
because the days are filled with a making the most

of our time to do what to play games, to
be entertained, to feel good, no, to share the gospel,
making disciples and getting them baptized in the name of
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. That's
the great commission. But if we're going to do that,
we need to understand something. We need to walk about,

watching on every hand to avoid danger and enemies, and
while doing that we live the Gospel by our conduct.
One Peter Chapter five, verse eight, the amplified version says,
be well balanced, temperate, sober of mind, be vigilant and
(09:47):
cautious at all times for that enemy of yours. The
devil roams around like a lion, roaring in fierce hunger,
seeking someone to seizeupon and devour to tear apart, to
literally just consume their lives, destroy them, their homes, their families,
(10:10):
everything that they hold dear. Well, we can't do that
if we're distracted, and we definitely can't do that if
we're drunk on the world and the things of the world.
Because he makes it specific to wine, and I'll explain
wine a second, but it could be anything that dulls
(10:32):
your senses. It could be anything that keeps you asleep
at the wheel, so to speak. And for some it
is asleep at the wheel. Do not get drunk with wine.
Why wickedness, corruption, stupidity, But be filled with the Holy
Spirit and constantly guided by him. If you're being guided
(10:54):
by him, you won't walk into danger. You'll be alert,
you'll be vigilant. Whyse he say, do not get drunk,
don't be unwise, don't become mad men because there's an
allusion to the wild orgies of Bacchus. I've talked about

like they were mad, running and tossing their heads and
appearing in every sense completely frantic, having orgies, men and
women together drunk, doing all kinds of immoral, disgusting acts.
Don't do that. Don't be a part of it. Don't

says getting drunk leads to debauchery, and that word refers
to a drunk person being out of control, as well
as the person's wastefulness of their resources and life itself.
These have no place in the life of a believer.

We don't need alcohol, according to Paul, because we're filled
with the spirit. Paul contrasts getting drunk with wine producing
a temporary high, to being filled with the spirit, which
is a lasting high, a lasting joy. It's so important
for us to exist in this fallen world, to hold

on to this, to not be seduced by the ways
of the world. Galatians five, verse sixteen and seventeen. This
is walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill
the lust of the flesh, for the flesh lust against
the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these
(12:41):
are contrary to one another, so that you do not
do the things that you wish. Again, walking in the Spirit,
he's walking with you. He's keeping you from doing these
things that destroy you. Walk and live habitually in the
Holy Spirit, which means being responsive to, controlled by, and
(13:05):
guided by the Holy Spirit, the Ruk a Kadesh. If
you do that, you won't gratify the cravings and desires
of the flesh, of the things of the human nature
without God. Why well, for the desires of the flesh
(13:27):
are opposed to the Holy Spirit, and the desires of
the Spirit are opposed to the flesh to our godless
human nature. For these are antagonistic to each other. Continually
withstanding and in conflict with one another. Your flesh and
your spirit are always in a battle, and until we
(13:50):
get our glorified bodies, they always will be. So the
question becomes, who is going to control your life? Either
the Holy Spirit is or something else is, And whatever
else it may be, it is a poor substitute for
the Holy Spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit gives
(14:13):
you self control, which is what a fruit of the
spirit and Galatians five. And it helps you worship God
and serve others. Ever, be filled and stimulated with the
Holy Spirit. You know, where the Holy Spirit is, there's life,
(14:34):
there's movement, there's action. And if we're filled in we're
constantly being filled, there's going to be movement and action
in our life and our soul, in our spirit. And
as we've been talking about the Holy spirits, about the
Day of Pentecost and what happened with the Book of
(14:56):
Acts church, and how they went out and did things,
even if it meant being arrested or beaten, put in prison,
whatever they did it why because the Spirit was bubbling
inside of them, propelling them. It was the fuel that
drove them. The words be filled are a command for
(15:17):
all believers. Yet remember this, we don't manufacture it. We
can't conjure it up. We can't make it happen. God
fills believers with his spirit when they profess faith in
Jesus as their Messiah, as their savior. And this is
(15:39):
the privilege of every born again believer who receives the
spirit of adoption has this Holy Spirit in them. See,
I'm getting stirred up just talking about him. And the
great thing about it is it's coming from the Throne room,
the spirit that emanates from the Father. But who's sent it?
(16:00):
The Lord did, And the Lord was given the spirit
without measure. And John chapter three, starting verse thirty four.
For since he whom God has sent speaks the word
of God proclaims God's own message. God does not give
him his spirit sparingly or by measure. But boundless is
(16:23):
the gift God makes of his spirit, boundless without measure.
And as he received it, he gave it to us.
He is our example. You know, we were based on
the Book of Acts Church. Yes, on their actions, on
(16:44):
the things that they did through the work of the
Holy Spirit. But the truth is it's all coming from
the Lord. It's all emanating from the Throne room. That's
what we're plugged into so all is not suggesting that
believers needed to get filled. Rather, he's saying, since you're
already filled with the Spirit, keep being filled. Keep on
(17:08):
like that. Remember when Peter and John get at a
prison and they got together with the brothers and sisters
and the Lord and the other members of the church,
and they began to pray, and the Holy Spirit filled
them again. It's a constant filling, it's a constant flowing.
It's that energy that when you plug an electronic device
(17:30):
into an outlet. It has capacitors and transformers that transforms
that energy from the outlet into what it can use,
and it also stores some so that it can always
be turned on. So the tents of the Greek for
be filled makes it clear that such a spirit filled
(17:54):
condition does not stop with a single experience, but is
maintained by continually being filled and the spirit is it
will influence all aspects of our lives, overflowing into transformed relationships,
(18:15):
dynamic ministry to enhance worship, and includes a personal prayer
language that the Bible calls tongues. The Spirit does all
that He's in you, he's with you, he's taking permanent residence,
abiding what is our excuse for not seeing this manifesting
(18:43):
in the churches and in the world. And I'm talking churches, people,
collections of people, gatherings, fellowships, and that be filled as
in present tense, a constant replenishment with the Holy Spirit,
not filled once and for all. And that's it. No,
if you're going to walk in the spirit and walk
(19:05):
with the Spirit, you've got to be filled by the Spirit.
So many reasons for that to not happen. The besetting
sin that you won't let go of, lack of faith,
lack of self worth. There's so many things that can
interfere with the flow. And the enemy will be glad
(19:26):
to touch those buttons. But if you can start with
the basics, if you have made your shoe of Jesus
Lord of your life, and you are filled with the
Holy Spirit, these things I'm talking about are available to you.
The Vines Expository Bible note says every believer is to
(19:48):
be filled with the Holy Spirit. We cannot think about it,
vote on it, or consider it. The verb form is
a direct command be filled with the Spirit. That's verse eighteen.
This is a continuous action to seek being filled. The
Holy Spirit is not some end all experience, but an
(20:08):
everyday affair. We'll explain how to make that happen. Interestingly,
while we are commanded to be filled with the spirit,
we can't do it ourselves. God fills us. Nor is
the feeling of the Holy Spirit something to be reserved
for a select few. It's for every believer. And that
(20:29):
last part there is very important, because that's what some denominations, abominations,
man creations say, Oh, it was just a select few,
it was just the disciples. Now that they're dead, all
that stuff is stopped. No, that doesn't line up with
the Word. That's man made thinking and man made teaching.
(20:52):
Every believer has the right and the privilege di Verses
nineteen and twenty one. Speak out to one another in
song and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices
and instruments, and making melody with all your heart to
the Lord at all times and for everything, giving thanks
(21:13):
in the name of our Lord, Jesus the Messiah, to
God the Father. Be subject to one another out of
reverence for the Messiah. Taking everything I just said about
being filled with the spirit, one of the end results
is walking with the Father, giving thanks and submitting becomes
(21:34):
the outward results of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Just as drunkenness in the world is the evidence of
too much alcohol too much wine, spirit filled worship should
be evidence of the Holy Spirit's presence in a person's
life or in the congregation. So that section of Scripture
(21:56):
gives us four distinct results of being spirit filled Verse eighteen.
Believers speak to one another with psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, which means they exhort and instruct one another.
There's singing and making melody, whether it's an individual song
(22:16):
or collectively in praise to the Lord. There's giving thanks always,
because the Spirit enables believers to be grateful for all things.
That's why at the beginning I always start out all
the things I praise Him for. First of all, I
want to speak it out. I want to remind myself.
I want my spirit man to hear it. And then
(22:37):
I want the Lord to hear it, the Holy Spirit
to hear it that all these things that I have
been divinely allowed to have in my life are from
Him to be used for Him. And then finally, when
all's said and done, we are mutually in submission to
one another, reverence to each other, respect for one another.
(23:03):
Because first of all, starting out, the fear of God
is a fear of our Father, in the sense of,
if I don't do these things, he's going to be displeased.
But I want to please him, and I want to
treat the Family of God, my brothers and sisters with
respect and reverence, not as submitting to be lorded over,
(23:28):
but in care and compassion. So being filled with the
Spirit is not only about submitting to the Lord, it's
about serving his people. Because of complaining, heart and the
Holy Spirit don't go together. Bitterness and the Holy Spirit
don't go together. Anger and wrath and all those fruits
(23:50):
of the flesh. Things of the flesh don't go together
with the fruit of the Spirit. Those who walk in
and with the Spirit will give thanks, always, always, always,
every chance. Thank you Lord, Thank you, Thank you for
this time. Thank you for the voice to do this.

Thank You for the eyes that see in the heart
that beats. Thank You that I have a blessed hope
to see you again. Thank You for giving me my
family and all that I have. Thank you each and
every day. If you do that, it'll be so much
(24:32):
more difficult for the enemy to get in your head,
because once the enemy gets into your head, he finds
his way down into your heart. One of the natural
outcomes of being filled is singing, making melody to God,
making a joyful noise, and for some of us it's
more noise than others. They give you three types of music.

We have psalms, the word. That's what David. David was
writing music. When you see say Lad's pause, and they
were singing them. The liar and the harp and the
instruments were playing, and the hymns compositions addressed directly to God,

up to this, and then spiritual songs are like hymns
about the believers experience like amazing grace. If you would
sing those songs, you feel something happened. You can even
hum amazing grace and watch what it does to your body,

watch how it wakes it up. So the psalms, the
Old Testament psalms divinely inspire the Word of God, the
hymns poetic expressions of praise often used in worship settings,
and then spiritual songs inspired by the Holy Spirit of
worship and devotion and adoration. Spontaneously singing a song the
(26:52):
melody in your heart, and you may not even know
the words. You may be speaking in your heavenly language,
singing in your heavenly life language. And when the spirit
takes over, he can do whatever he wants, however he wants.
But when he's doing it, it's awesome because the spirit
knows that God, our abba Father, delights in creative, spontaneous worship.

Those who are filled with the spirit will naturally praise
God because praise is an outward manifestation of being filled
with the spirit. You see how this circles right back.
Let's look at the psalm Psalm one hundred, which is
a psalm of thanksgiving, a psalm that praises the Lord

for his faithfulness to his people. Make a joyful shout
to the Lord, all you lands, Sir the Lord, with gladness,
Come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord
he is God. It is he who made us, and
not we ourselves. We are his people. O the sheep
(28:00):
of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and
into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and
bless his name. For the Lord is good, his mercy
is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations. When
(28:23):
you say that out loud, when you say it from
your heart, not only does it affect you, it affects
your surroundings. And if the enemy's nearby will affect them.
How about Psalm thirty four, which is about the happiness
of those who trust in God. I will bless the
(28:46):
Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in
my mouth. My soul shall make his boast in the Lord.
The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Magnify
the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered
(29:10):
me from all my fears. They looked to him and
were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. This poor
man cried out, and the Lord heard him and saved
him out of all of his troubles. The Angel of
the Lord and camps are all around those who fear
(29:33):
him and delivers them. Oh taste and see that the
Lord is good. Blessed is the man who trusts in him. Oh,
fear the Lord, you his saints. There is no want
to those who fear him. The Angel of the Lord
(29:54):
and camps around those who fear him with awe inspired reverence,
and worship him with the obedience. The Angel of the Lord,
the theophony of your shere, and he rescues each of them.
Oh taste and see that the Lord, our God, our
(30:18):
Abbah is good. Whatever it is you're going through, whatever
the obstacle is, whatever the attack is, whatever the world's doing,
whatever the enemy is doing, the Lord, our God, our
Father is good. How blessed, how fortunate, how prosperous and

favored by God are those who take refuge in him. Oh,
reverently fear the Lord, you his saints, you believers, your
holy ones. To those who fear him, there is no
want that's stirs up your spirit. That stirs you up

a dark day, a bad report, something's wrong. Begin to
praise him. I will bless the Lord at all times.
And the enemy's going, why are you doing that? I
just did this to you. This is happening to you.
I will bless the Lord at all times, no matter
what you do, Satan, I will sing to the Lord

with all my heart. That's what the Holy Spirit inspires.
He inspires us to extol to worship, to thank God
because his aim is to glorify the Father and the Sun.

See the promise of the Holy Spirit inside of you.
It brings praise. Some of you have a little spark
of fire, You have a little pilot light called it.
Lest just begin to praise him. Begin to speak these
scriptures out loud. Take the scriptures I just read to you,
(32:09):
the psalms, and say them out loud, maybe every morning,
and watch that pilot like grow, watch that flame grow,
watch the fire inside of you grow. And why is
this so important? Why do we need to do this
when we know that the times are evil, We know
(32:32):
that there's a lot of darkness out there. Look what
it says in John chapter four, starting verse twenty three.
But the time is coming and is already here. This
is what the Lord said to the woman at the well.
The time is coming and is already here. When true
worshipers worship the Father in spirit, which means from the heart,
(32:53):
the inner self, and in truth, for the Father seeks
such people to be his worshipers. God is what God
is spirit. He's the source of life, and those who
worship him must worship in spirit and truth. You can't
(33:16):
do it without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit activates
the church's praise. Do we have an example of that?
Do we have something that shows that? Yes, we do.
Go to Acts chapter ten with me, and this is
Peter speaking to the gentiles in Cornelius's house. Opening his mouth,
(33:39):
Peter said, most certainly, I understand now that God is
not one to show partiality, which means as though the
gentiles were excluded from God's blessing. But in every nation,
the person who fears God and does what is right
by seeking him is acceptable and welcomed by him. You
(34:01):
know the message which he sent to the sons of Israel,
announcing the good news of peace through Jesus the Messiah,
who is Lord of all. You know the things that
have taken place throughout Judea, starting in Galilee after the
baptism preached by John, how God anointed Yeshueth NASRII Jesus
(34:23):
of Nazareth, with the Holy Spirit with great power, and
he went around doing good and healing all who were
oppressed by the devil. Because God was with him. We
are personally eye witnesses of everything that he did, both
in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They
also put him to death by hanging him on a cross.

But God raised him to life on the third day
and caused him to be plainly seen, not to all people,
but to witnesses who had chosen and designated beforehand by God,
that is, to us who ate and drank together with
him after he rose from the dead. So he said,

ate and drank together with him. Tangibly. We saw him,
we felt him, We ate with him. He goes on.
He commanded us to preach to the people, both you
and gentile, and to solemnly testify that he is the
one who had been appointed and ordained by God as
judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets

testify about him, and through his name everyone who believes
in him, whoever trust in and relies on Him and
accepts him as Savior and Messiah, receives forgiveness of sins.
Now Here it is, here's the manifestation, here's the proof. Now,
while Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit
(35:54):
fell on all those who were listening to the message,
confirming god acceptance of gentiles. And all the circumcised believers
who came with Peter were amazed because the gift of
the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the gentiles.
For they heard them talking in tongues and exalting and
(36:19):
magnifying and praising God. That's what the presence of the
Holy Spirit did. And while Peter was speaking the word,
while Peter was testifying, while Peter was sharing from his heart,
the spirit just fell because the Father so desired it.

And they exalted him, and they magnified him, and they
praised him. That's what happens. Look at Acts chapter two,
the Day of Pentecosts. You know, the disciples speaking in
the various tongues and the languages, and they're hearing them,
and the people go, we're hearing them speak in our
own tongues. The wonderful works of God. From what were

they speaking? They were praising God. Praise began the church.
They heard the inhabitants of the upper room praising God, Father,
We praise you, We praise You. Holy Spirit touched my
(37:25):
brothers and sisters, stir them up. We praise you Lord
so much. In this word just verifies over and over
the continuing message, all fitting together. We're new creations, were

born from above, and in doing so we become of
His glory, of His Spirit, of his power, of His presence.
Gloss In three point sixteen says, Let the spoken word
of Messiah have its home within you, dwelling in your
heart and mind, permeating every aspect of your being, as
(38:18):
you teach spiritual things and admonish and train one another
with all wisdom. Here it is again, singing psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your heart to God.
Are we seeing something here? Are we seeing what made
the Book of axe Church so successful? And why the
(38:42):
enemy did everything he could to corrupt it, to water
it down, to muddy it up. Psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs with thankfulness in our heart. When spiritual songs
are simply a form of musical expression on within worship
and personal devotion. They're distinct from the psalms and the hymns.

They're just characterized by a theme edification, something about our
relationship with God. But they are completely and totally inspired
by the Holy Spirit to uplift, instruct and encourage all
(39:30):
throughout the Bible. We see this in Revelation five nine.
It talks about the new song. They sang a new song, sang,
you are worthy to take the scroll to open its
seals for you as slain, and have redeemed us to
God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue
and people and nation. But then there's a song of
(39:56):
redemption Revelation fourteen, starting verse two. And I heard a
voice from Eban, like the voice of many waters, like
the voice of a loud thunder. I heard the sound
of harpists playing their harps, and they sang as it
was were a new song before the throat, before the
(40:16):
for living creatures and the elders. And I almost can't talk.
And no one could learn that song except one hundred
and forty four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
So the one hundred and forty four thousand Messianic witnesses
will have their own song, their own praise, their own
vibrational weapon. Then you have Revelation fifteen, starting verse two.

And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled
with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast,
and over his image, and over his mark, and over
the number of his names, standing on the sea of glass,
having harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses,
the Servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

great and marvelous are your works, Lord, God, Almighty, Just
and true are your ways, O King of the saints,
who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name,
for you alone are holy. For all nations shall come
(41:31):
and worship before you, for your judgments have been manifested,
great and wonderful and are inspiring. Are your works in judgment,
O Lord, God the Almighty, the omnipotent ruler of all,
(41:55):
Righteous and true are your ways, O King of the nations,
who will not fear you. Reverently and glorify your name,
O Lord, giving you honor and praise and worship, who
you alone are holy. All the nations shall bow down
and worship before you. The song and that scripture prophetically
(42:21):
for us, but John was seeing it happening in real time,
professes that all the nations of the world will come
and worship before God. They won't have a choice, and
they will come to Jerusalem, not to Rome, not to
New York, not to America, not to any other place,
(42:42):
but to Jerusalem. The Song of Moses, a song of
Redemption which came about after the crossing of the Red
Sea in Exodus fifteen, and the Song of the Lamb
are one. What it is is the old covenant that
came through Moses is complete and in unity with the
(43:08):
new covenant in Yashuaha Muchiah, Jesus the Messiah. It's a
celebration of God's judgment, power and sovereignty. You want authority
over the enemy. Learn to sing, Learn to sing scripture,
Learn to take what the spirit's doing inside of you
(43:30):
and speak it out loud. A song of redemption and
the song of the Lamp celebration of God's judgment, power
and sovereignty. And me doesn't want to hear that, the
world doesn't want to hear that. You know why, because
of who's driving the worship and who is that? It's
(43:52):
the Holy Spirit one Corinthians fourteen fifteen. I will pray
with the spirit. I will also pray with under standing.
I will sing with the spirit, and I will also
sing with understanding, which means Paul stang in the spirit,
he sang in his heavenly language. There's a great example
(44:15):
of this historically. I've talked about it before because I've
studied it deeply. The Welsh Revival of nineteen oh four
nineteen oh five. It inspired many of the hymns and
the spiritual songs we used today. Here is Love as
Vast as the Ocean is particularly notable as the love
(44:35):
song of the revival, and the revival triggered a significant
increase in passionate singing and fervent prayer across Wales. The
impact of the Welsh Revival on music was the Revival
led to a surge in passionate singing and the fervent
(44:56):
prayer just mentioned, and many of these hymns are sung
in church services today and public gather thing. In public
gatherings could contributing to a sense of community ensured faith.
The emotional intensity of the Revival influenced the style and

themes of the songs focusing on personal commitment and divine love.

supported the sharing of personal testimonies, intensive prayer, expressive demonstrations
of faith. The Revival contributed to the development of contemporary
worship styles that focus on individual engagement with God as
our father and encouraged active involvement from everybody in the congregation.

There was a reporter from that day, W. T. Steed,
very popular news reporter. Unfortunately he was on board the
Titanic when it sank, but he visited the Welsh Revival
in nineteen oh four, just in one Welsh village of Mardi.
This is what he said. I'm gonna read to you

what he wrote. The most extraordinary thing about the meetings
which I attended was the extent to which they were
absolutely without any human direction or leadership. The meetings open
after any amount of preliminary singing, while the congregation is
assembling by the reading of a chapter or a psalm.

Then it is go as you please for two hours
or more. And the amazing thing is that it does
go and does not get entangled in what seemed to
be inevitable confusion. Three fourths of the meeting consists of singing.
No one uses a hymn book, no one gives out

of him, And as a study of the psychology of crowds,
I've seen nothing like it. You feel that the thousand
or fifteen hundred persons before you have become merged into
one myriad headed but single souled personality. He goes on

a very remarkable instance of this abandonment of the meeting
to the spontaneous impulse not merely of those within the halls,
but of the crowds outside who were unable to get in,
which occurred on this Sunday night twice. The order of proceeding,
if the order could be called, was altered by the

crowd outside, who, being moved by some mysterious impulse, started
a hymn on their own account, which was at once
taken up by the congregation within. And I've heard that's
story over and over in reading about the Welsh Revival,

that the people that couldn't get in there were outside,
they were waiting for the next service, some for the
next morning, would be inspired by what they were hearing
to start singing and praising, and then that would trigger
the people inside, and it would be like back and
forth stereo and the Holy Spirit hanging off one another. Oh,

how we need that today, Not this smoke and mirrors
and lights in Hollywood. We need this from the heart.
Maybe that's why the Lord has me teaching on it.
Maybe that's had why he's had me dwelling on this
for about a week, but definitely over the last three days.

I read you Colossians three sixteen before. But I want
to add seventeen to it. Let the Word of God
dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever
(50:10):
you do in word or deed, do it all in
the name of the Lord Jesus. I don't know Yeshua.
Giving thanks to God the Father through him, psalms, hymns,
spiritual songs, thanks and singing together. Doing this under the
(50:33):
influence of the Holy Spirit builds up the church, and
it inspires unity. That's why they had no order. That's
why they really had nobody leading the service. Ivan Roberts
the one who started it, young man. He would sometimes
start things out. Sometimes he'd never get up from the
off his knees. The Holy Spirit was in control. They

were subject. They submitted to one another out of reverence
for the Lord, the Lord of their life. And the
word submitting here is being used as a military term
to be to be under in rank pertaining to the
arranging of affairs, of being under control, submitted to the

God appointed order, not because someone's smarter or better or
more talented, but the submission is reciprocal. They're not lord
it over. It's mutual, and the submission is from the Spirit,
which makes us a servant to one another to serve

one another through the inspiration of the Spirit. When we're
filled with the spirit, we see ourselves as part of
a unit, even a company or a battalion. And if
you will, an army is filled with individuals, but they
must never be individualistic, which means we, you and I,

we are to work together for the sake of the
Kingdom of God in unity and submission to the Lord's will.
The feeling of the Spirit in you and I results
in the absolute control of a believer's life by the
Spirit when that life is yielded to the Lord. So

the feeling of the spirit that I'm talking about here
right now is to be continually experienced, and there will
be special fellings that will occur in times of need
for a particular spiritual powers our abilities SrTA. When we

do what we do, we praise, we worship, we let
the Spirit fill us. And using that example, there's an
order and there's a submission to one another in the team,
and that's why He uses us to be as effective

as we are So the filling that I am sharing

being persecuted. Our Jewish brothers and sisters are being persecuted.

need to stand up against it. I pray for divine wholeness,
health and healing in me and you, whatever your need
is right now, in the name of your Shuahamashiah Jesus
the Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I
pray for your healing. I pray for your rest and

I pray for the remnant to wake up. Let's answer
the call to action. Let's get busy about our father's business,

life with honor, purpose, and courage, shunning those who tolerate
and enable evil. Not as the unwise, but as wise, sensible, intelligent,
discerning people. Making the very most of your time on earth,
recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it

with wisdom and diligence. Because the days are filled with evil, Therefore,
do not be full, foolish and thoughtless, but understand and
firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is. Do
not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness, it's corruption, stupidity,
and I'll add debauchery. But be filled with the Holy

Spirit and constantly guided by Him. Speak to one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise by
singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord,
always giving thanks to God the Father for all things,
in the name of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. Being

subject to one another out of reverence for Messiah, making
the very most of our time on earth, recognizing and
taking advantage of each opportunity, using it with wisdom and diligence. Why,
because the days are filled with a making the most

of our time to do what to play games, to
be entertained, to feel good, no, to share the gospel,
making disciples and getting them baptized in the name of
the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. That's
the great commission. But if we're going to do that,
we need to understand something. We need to walk about,

watching on every hand to avoid danger and enemies, and
while doing that we live the Gospel by our conduct.
One Peter Chapter five, verse eight, the amplified version says,
be well balanced, temperate, sober of mind, be vigilant and
(09:47):
cautious at all times for that enemy of yours. The
devil roams around like a lion, roaring in fierce hunger,
seeking someone to seizeupon and devour to tear apart, to
literally just consume their lives, destroy them, their homes, their families,
(10:10):
everything that they hold dear. Well, we can't do that
if we're distracted, and we definitely can't do that if
we're drunk on the world and the things of the world.
Because he makes it specific to wine, and I'll explain
wine a second, but it could be anything that dulls
(10:32):
your senses. It could be anything that keeps you asleep
at the wheel, so to speak. And for some it
is asleep at the wheel. Do not get drunk with wine.
Why wickedness, corruption, stupidity, But be filled with the Holy
Spirit and constantly guided by him. If you're being guided
(10:54):
by him, you won't walk into danger. You'll be alert,
you'll be vigilant. Whyse he say, do not get drunk,
don't be unwise, don't become mad men because there's an
allusion to the wild orgies of Bacchus. I've talked about
this an ephesis the Bacchanalian rights, in which men acted
(11:16):
like they were mad, running and tossing their heads and
appearing in every sense completely frantic, having orgies, men and
women together drunk, doing all kinds of immoral, disgusting acts.
Don't do that. Don't be a part of it. Don't
(11:37):
let it infect your life. The Life Application Bible commentary
says getting drunk leads to debauchery, and that word refers
to a drunk person being out of control, as well
as the person's wastefulness of their resources and life itself.
These have no place in the life of a believer.
(11:59):
We don't need alcohol, according to Paul, because we're filled
with the spirit. Paul contrasts getting drunk with wine producing
a temporary high, to being filled with the spirit, which
is a lasting high, a lasting joy. It's so important
for us to exist in this fallen world, to hold
(12:20):
on to this, to not be seduced by the ways
of the world. Galatians five, verse sixteen and seventeen. This
is walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill
the lust of the flesh, for the flesh lust against
the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. And these
(12:41):
are contrary to one another, so that you do not
do the things that you wish. Again, walking in the Spirit,
he's walking with you. He's keeping you from doing these
things that destroy you. Walk and live habitually in the
Holy Spirit, which means being responsive to, controlled by, and
(13:05):
guided by the Holy Spirit, the Ruk a Kadesh. If
you do that, you won't gratify the cravings and desires
of the flesh, of the things of the human nature
without God. Why well, for the desires of the flesh
(13:27):
are opposed to the Holy Spirit, and the desires of
the Spirit are opposed to the flesh to our godless
human nature. For these are antagonistic to each other. Continually
withstanding and in conflict with one another. Your flesh and
your spirit are always in a battle, and until we
(13:50):
get our glorified bodies, they always will be. So the
question becomes, who is going to control your life? Either
the Holy Spirit is or something else is, And whatever
else it may be, it is a poor substitute for
the Holy Spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit gives
(14:13):
you self control, which is what a fruit of the
spirit and Galatians five. And it helps you worship God
and serve others. Ever, be filled and stimulated with the
Holy Spirit. You know, where the Holy Spirit is, there's life,
(14:34):
there's movement, there's action. And if we're filled in we're
constantly being filled, there's going to be movement and action
in our life and our soul, in our spirit. And
as we've been talking about the Holy spirits, about the
Day of Pentecost and what happened with the Book of
(14:56):
Acts church, and how they went out and did things,
even if it meant being arrested or beaten, put in prison,
whatever they did it why because the Spirit was bubbling
inside of them, propelling them. It was the fuel that
drove them. The words be filled are a command for
(15:17):
all believers. Yet remember this, we don't manufacture it. We
can't conjure it up. We can't make it happen. God
fills believers with his spirit when they profess faith in
Jesus as their Messiah, as their savior. And this is
(15:39):
the privilege of every born again believer who receives the
spirit of adoption has this Holy Spirit in them. See,
I'm getting stirred up just talking about him. And the
great thing about it is it's coming from the Throne room,
the spirit that emanates from the Father. But who's sent it?
(16:00):
The Lord did, And the Lord was given the spirit
without measure. And John chapter three, starting verse thirty four.
For since he whom God has sent speaks the word
of God proclaims God's own message. God does not give
him his spirit sparingly or by measure. But boundless is
(16:23):
the gift God makes of his spirit, boundless without measure.
And as he received it, he gave it to us.
He is our example. You know, we were based on
the Book of Acts Church. Yes, on their actions, on
(16:44):
the things that they did through the work of the
Holy Spirit. But the truth is it's all coming from
the Lord. It's all emanating from the Throne room. That's
what we're plugged into so all is not suggesting that
believers needed to get filled. Rather, he's saying, since you're
already filled with the Spirit, keep being filled. Keep on
(17:08):
like that. Remember when Peter and John get at a
prison and they got together with the brothers and sisters
and the Lord and the other members of the church,
and they began to pray, and the Holy Spirit filled
them again. It's a constant filling, it's a constant flowing.
It's that energy that when you plug an electronic device
(17:30):
into an outlet. It has capacitors and transformers that transforms
that energy from the outlet into what it can use,
and it also stores some so that it can always
be turned on. So the tents of the Greek for
be filled makes it clear that such a spirit filled
(17:54):
condition does not stop with a single experience, but is
maintained by continually being filled and the spirit is it
will influence all aspects of our lives, overflowing into transformed relationships,
(18:15):
dynamic ministry to enhance worship, and includes a personal prayer
language that the Bible calls tongues. The Spirit does all
that He's in you, he's with you, he's taking permanent residence,
abiding what is our excuse for not seeing this manifesting
(18:43):
in the churches and in the world. And I'm talking churches, people,
collections of people, gatherings, fellowships, and that be filled as
in present tense, a constant replenishment with the Holy Spirit,
not filled once and for all. And that's it. No,
if you're going to walk in the spirit and walk
(19:05):
with the Spirit, you've got to be filled by the Spirit.
So many reasons for that to not happen. The besetting
sin that you won't let go of, lack of faith,
lack of self worth. There's so many things that can
interfere with the flow. And the enemy will be glad
(19:26):
to touch those buttons. But if you can start with
the basics, if you have made your shoe of Jesus
Lord of your life, and you are filled with the
Holy Spirit, these things I'm talking about are available to you.
The Vines Expository Bible note says every believer is to
(19:48):
be filled with the Holy Spirit. We cannot think about it,
vote on it, or consider it. The verb form is
a direct command be filled with the Spirit. That's verse eighteen.
This is a continuous action to seek being filled. The
Holy Spirit is not some end all experience, but an
(20:08):
everyday affair. We'll explain how to make that happen. Interestingly,
while we are commanded to be filled with the spirit,
we can't do it ourselves. God fills us. Nor is
the feeling of the Holy Spirit something to be reserved
for a select few. It's for every believer. And that
(20:29):
last part there is very important, because that's what some denominations, abominations,
man creations say, Oh, it was just a select few,
it was just the disciples. Now that they're dead, all
that stuff is stopped. No, that doesn't line up with
the Word. That's man made thinking and man made teaching.
(20:52):
Every believer has the right and the privilege di Verses
nineteen and twenty one. Speak out to one another in
song and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices
and instruments, and making melody with all your heart to
the Lord at all times and for everything, giving thanks
(21:13):
in the name of our Lord, Jesus the Messiah, to
God the Father. Be subject to one another out of
reverence for the Messiah. Taking everything I just said about
being filled with the spirit, one of the end results
is walking with the Father, giving thanks and submitting becomes
(21:34):
the outward results of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
Just as drunkenness in the world is the evidence of
too much alcohol too much wine, spirit filled worship should
be evidence of the Holy Spirit's presence in a person's
life or in the congregation. So that section of Scripture
(21:56):
gives us four distinct results of being spirit filled Verse eighteen.
Believers speak to one another with psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, which means they exhort and instruct one another.
There's singing and making melody, whether it's an individual song
(22:16):
or collectively in praise to the Lord. There's giving thanks always,
because the Spirit enables believers to be grateful for all things.
That's why at the beginning I always start out all
the things I praise Him for. First of all, I
want to speak it out. I want to remind myself.
I want my spirit man to hear it. And then
(22:37):
I want the Lord to hear it, the Holy Spirit
to hear it that all these things that I have
been divinely allowed to have in my life are from
Him to be used for Him. And then finally, when
all's said and done, we are mutually in submission to
one another, reverence to each other, respect for one another.
(23:03):
Because first of all, starting out, the fear of God
is a fear of our Father, in the sense of,
if I don't do these things, he's going to be displeased.
But I want to please him, and I want to
treat the Family of God, my brothers and sisters with
respect and reverence, not as submitting to be lorded over,
(23:28):
but in care and compassion. So being filled with the
Spirit is not only about submitting to the Lord, it's
about serving his people. Because of complaining, heart and the
Holy Spirit don't go together. Bitterness and the Holy Spirit
don't go together. Anger and wrath and all those fruits
(23:50):
of the flesh. Things of the flesh don't go together
with the fruit of the Spirit. Those who walk in
and with the Spirit will give thanks, always, always, always,
every chance. Thank you Lord, Thank you, Thank you for
this time. Thank you for the voice to do this.
(24:12):
Thank You for the eyes that see in the heart
that beats. Thank You that I have a blessed hope
to see you again. Thank You for giving me my
family and all that I have. Thank you each and
every day. If you do that, it'll be so much
(24:32):
more difficult for the enemy to get in your head,
because once the enemy gets into your head, he finds
his way down into your heart. One of the natural
outcomes of being filled is singing, making melody to God,
making a joyful noise, and for some of us it's
more noise than others. They give you three types of music.
(24:59):
We have psalms, the word. That's what David. David was
writing music. When you see say Lad's pause, and they
were singing them. The liar and the harp and the
instruments were playing, and the hymns compositions addressed directly to God,
(25:19):
like how Great Thou Art? Quick little story here, new
York Italian boy raised Roman Catholic, I've told you that,
But my musical tastes leaned into Elvis Presley for a
lot of reasons. You could brow your eyes and snicker
(25:40):
some do, but understand this. It was through Elvis Presley
that a New York Italian boy raised the Roman Catholic,
heard gospel music for the first time and heard him
sing from his heart, how great Thou Art, and heard
him sing all those other things planted seeds open me
(26:02):
up to this, and then spiritual songs are like hymns
about the believers experience like amazing grace. If you would
sing those songs, you feel something happened. You can even
hum amazing grace and watch what it does to your body,
(26:26):
watch how it wakes it up. So the psalms, the
Old Testament psalms divinely inspire the Word of God, the
hymns poetic expressions of praise often used in worship settings,
and then spiritual songs inspired by the Holy Spirit of
worship and devotion and adoration. Spontaneously singing a song the
(26:52):
melody in your heart, and you may not even know
the words. You may be speaking in your heavenly language,
singing in your heavenly life language. And when the spirit
takes over, he can do whatever he wants, however he wants.
But when he's doing it, it's awesome because the spirit
knows that God, our abba Father, delights in creative, spontaneous worship.
(27:18):
Those who are filled with the spirit will naturally praise
God because praise is an outward manifestation of being filled
with the spirit. You see how this circles right back.
Let's look at the psalm Psalm one hundred, which is
a psalm of thanksgiving, a psalm that praises the Lord
(27:39):
for his faithfulness to his people. Make a joyful shout
to the Lord, all you lands, Sir the Lord, with gladness,
Come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord
he is God. It is he who made us, and
not we ourselves. We are his people. O the sheep
(28:00):
of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and
into his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and
bless his name. For the Lord is good, his mercy
is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations. When
(28:23):
you say that out loud, when you say it from
your heart, not only does it affect you, it affects
your surroundings. And if the enemy's nearby will affect them.
How about Psalm thirty four, which is about the happiness
of those who trust in God. I will bless the
(28:46):
Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in
my mouth. My soul shall make his boast in the Lord.
The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Magnify
the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me and delivered
(29:10):
me from all my fears. They looked to him and
were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed. This poor
man cried out, and the Lord heard him and saved
him out of all of his troubles. The Angel of
the Lord and camps are all around those who fear
(29:33):
him and delivers them. Oh taste and see that the
Lord is good. Blessed is the man who trusts in him. Oh,
fear the Lord, you his saints. There is no want
to those who fear him. The Angel of the Lord
(29:54):
and camps around those who fear him with awe inspired reverence,
and worship him with the obedience. The Angel of the Lord,
the theophony of your shere, and he rescues each of them.
Oh taste and see that the Lord, our God, our
(30:18):
Abbah is good. Whatever it is you're going through, whatever
the obstacle is, whatever the attack is, whatever the world's doing,
whatever the enemy is doing, the Lord, our God, our
Father is good. How blessed, how fortunate, how prosperous and
(30:40):
favored by God are those who take refuge in him. Oh,
reverently fear the Lord, you his saints, you believers, your
holy ones. To those who fear him, there is no
want that's stirs up your spirit. That stirs you up
(31:06):
a dark day, a bad report, something's wrong. Begin to
praise him. I will bless the Lord at all times.
And the enemy's going, why are you doing that? I
just did this to you. This is happening to you.
I will bless the Lord at all times, no matter
what you do, Satan, I will sing to the Lord
(31:28):
with all my heart. That's what the Holy Spirit inspires.
He inspires us to extol to worship, to thank God
because his aim is to glorify the Father and the Sun.
(31:48):
See the promise of the Holy Spirit inside of you.
It brings praise. Some of you have a little spark
of fire, You have a little pilot light called it.
Lest just begin to praise him. Begin to speak these
scriptures out loud. Take the scriptures I just read to you,
(32:09):
the psalms, and say them out loud, maybe every morning,
and watch that pilot like grow, watch that flame grow,
watch the fire inside of you grow. And why is
this so important? Why do we need to do this
when we know that the times are evil, We know
(32:32):
that there's a lot of darkness out there. Look what
it says in John chapter four, starting verse twenty three.
But the time is coming and is already here. This
is what the Lord said to the woman at the well.
The time is coming and is already here. When true
worshipers worship the Father in spirit, which means from the heart,
(32:53):
the inner self, and in truth, for the Father seeks
such people to be his worshipers. God is what God
is spirit. He's the source of life, and those who
worship him must worship in spirit and truth. You can't
(33:16):
do it without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit activates
the church's praise. Do we have an example of that?
Do we have something that shows that? Yes, we do.
Go to Acts chapter ten with me, and this is
Peter speaking to the gentiles in Cornelius's house. Opening his mouth,
(33:39):
Peter said, most certainly, I understand now that God is
not one to show partiality, which means as though the
gentiles were excluded from God's blessing. But in every nation,
the person who fears God and does what is right
by seeking him is acceptable and welcomed by him. You
(34:01):
know the message which he sent to the sons of Israel,
announcing the good news of peace through Jesus the Messiah,
who is Lord of all. You know the things that
have taken place throughout Judea, starting in Galilee after the
baptism preached by John, how God anointed Yeshueth NASRII Jesus
(34:23):
of Nazareth, with the Holy Spirit with great power, and
he went around doing good and healing all who were
oppressed by the devil. Because God was with him. We
are personally eye witnesses of everything that he did, both
in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They
also put him to death by hanging him on a cross.
(34:47):
But God raised him to life on the third day
and caused him to be plainly seen, not to all people,
but to witnesses who had chosen and designated beforehand by God,
that is, to us who ate and drank together with
him after he rose from the dead. So he said,
(35:08):
ate and drank together with him. Tangibly. We saw him,
we felt him, We ate with him. He goes on.
He commanded us to preach to the people, both you
and gentile, and to solemnly testify that he is the
one who had been appointed and ordained by God as
judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets
(35:30):
testify about him, and through his name everyone who believes
in him, whoever trust in and relies on Him and
accepts him as Savior and Messiah, receives forgiveness of sins.
Now Here it is, here's the manifestation, here's the proof. Now,
while Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit
(35:54):
fell on all those who were listening to the message,
confirming god acceptance of gentiles. And all the circumcised believers
who came with Peter were amazed because the gift of
the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the gentiles.
For they heard them talking in tongues and exalting and
(36:19):
magnifying and praising God. That's what the presence of the
Holy Spirit did. And while Peter was speaking the word,
while Peter was testifying, while Peter was sharing from his heart,
the spirit just fell because the Father so desired it.
(36:41):
And they exalted him, and they magnified him, and they
praised him. That's what happens. Look at Acts chapter two,
the Day of Pentecosts. You know, the disciples speaking in
the various tongues and the languages, and they're hearing them,
and the people go, we're hearing them speak in our
own tongues. The wonderful works of God. From what were
(37:03):
they speaking? They were praising God. Praise began the church.
They heard the inhabitants of the upper room praising God, Father,
We praise you, We praise You. Holy Spirit touched my
(37:25):
brothers and sisters, stir them up. We praise you Lord
so much. In this word just verifies over and over
the continuing message, all fitting together. We're new creations, were
(37:54):
born from above, and in doing so we become of
His glory, of His Spirit, of his power, of His presence.
Gloss In three point sixteen says, Let the spoken word
of Messiah have its home within you, dwelling in your
heart and mind, permeating every aspect of your being, as
(38:18):
you teach spiritual things and admonish and train one another
with all wisdom. Here it is again, singing psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your heart to God.
Are we seeing something here? Are we seeing what made
the Book of axe Church so successful? And why the
(38:42):
enemy did everything he could to corrupt it, to water
it down, to muddy it up. Psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs with thankfulness in our heart. When spiritual songs
are simply a form of musical expression on within worship
and personal devotion. They're distinct from the psalms and the hymns.
(39:08):
They're just characterized by a theme edification, something about our
relationship with God. But they are completely and totally inspired
by the Holy Spirit to uplift, instruct and encourage all
(39:30):
throughout the Bible. We see this in Revelation five nine.
It talks about the new song. They sang a new song, sang,
you are worthy to take the scroll to open its
seals for you as slain, and have redeemed us to
God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue
and people and nation. But then there's a song of
(39:56):
redemption Revelation fourteen, starting verse two. And I heard a
voice from Eban, like the voice of many waters, like
the voice of a loud thunder. I heard the sound
of harpists playing their harps, and they sang as it
was were a new song before the throat, before the
(40:16):
for living creatures and the elders. And I almost can't talk.
And no one could learn that song except one hundred
and forty four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
So the one hundred and forty four thousand Messianic witnesses
will have their own song, their own praise, their own
vibrational weapon. Then you have Revelation fifteen, starting verse two.
(40:44):
And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled
with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast,
and over his image, and over his mark, and over
the number of his names, standing on the sea of glass,
having harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses,
the Servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
(41:10):
great and marvelous are your works, Lord, God, Almighty, Just
and true are your ways, O King of the saints,
who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name,
for you alone are holy. For all nations shall come
(41:31):
and worship before you, for your judgments have been manifested,
great and wonderful and are inspiring. Are your works in judgment,
O Lord, God the Almighty, the omnipotent ruler of all,
(41:55):
Righteous and true are your ways, O King of the nations,
who will not fear you. Reverently and glorify your name,
O Lord, giving you honor and praise and worship, who
you alone are holy. All the nations shall bow down
and worship before you. The song and that scripture prophetically
(42:21):
for us, but John was seeing it happening in real time,
professes that all the nations of the world will come
and worship before God. They won't have a choice, and
they will come to Jerusalem, not to Rome, not to
New York, not to America, not to any other place,
(42:42):
but to Jerusalem. The Song of Moses, a song of
Redemption which came about after the crossing of the Red
Sea in Exodus fifteen, and the Song of the Lamb
are one. What it is is the old covenant that
came through Moses is complete and in unity with the
(43:08):
new covenant in Yashuaha Muchiah, Jesus the Messiah. It's a
celebration of God's judgment, power and sovereignty. You want authority
over the enemy. Learn to sing, Learn to sing scripture,
Learn to take what the spirit's doing inside of you
(43:30):
and speak it out loud. A song of redemption and
the song of the Lamp celebration of God's judgment, power
and sovereignty. And me doesn't want to hear that, the
world doesn't want to hear that. You know why, because
of who's driving the worship and who is that? It's
(43:52):
the Holy Spirit one Corinthians fourteen fifteen. I will pray
with the spirit. I will also pray with under standing.
I will sing with the spirit, and I will also
sing with understanding, which means Paul stang in the spirit,
he sang in his heavenly language. There's a great example
(44:15):
of this historically. I've talked about it before because I've
studied it deeply. The Welsh Revival of nineteen oh four
nineteen oh five. It inspired many of the hymns and
the spiritual songs we used today. Here is Love as
Vast as the Ocean is particularly notable as the love
(44:35):
song of the revival, and the revival triggered a significant
increase in passionate singing and fervent prayer across Wales. The
impact of the Welsh Revival on music was the Revival
led to a surge in passionate singing and the fervent
(44:56):
prayer just mentioned, and many of these hymns are sung
in church services today and public gather thing. In public
gatherings could contributing to a sense of community ensured faith.
The emotional intensity of the Revival influenced the style and
(45:17):
themes of the songs focusing on personal commitment and divine love.
You saw me get tongue tied there. Normally I would
edit that out, but you need to understand what's happening.
I'm speaking to you. I'm trying to do this Bible
study if you will want to call it them, which
(45:40):
is what it is. But and the Holy Spirit is
taking my tongue and for you in a public setting,
and maybe i'd let it go. I can't tell you,
but that's what's happening. That's why I laugh when it's happening,
because I know what it is. Revival not only transformed
(46:01):
the spiritual landscape of Wales, it left a legacy in
music and the hymns that are still sung today. It
had considerable impact on modern church music and worship. It
introduced spontaneous and less structured worship practices, and these practices
(46:26):
supported the sharing of personal testimonies, intensive prayer, expressive demonstrations
of faith. The Revival contributed to the development of contemporary
worship styles that focus on individual engagement with God as
our father and encouraged active involvement from everybody in the congregation.
(46:55):
There was a reporter from that day, W. T. Steed,
very popular news reporter. Unfortunately he was on board the
Titanic when it sank, but he visited the Welsh Revival
in nineteen oh four, just in one Welsh village of Mardi.
This is what he said. I'm gonna read to you
(47:15):
what he wrote. The most extraordinary thing about the meetings
which I attended was the extent to which they were
absolutely without any human direction or leadership. The meetings open
after any amount of preliminary singing, while the congregation is
assembling by the reading of a chapter or a psalm.
(47:39):
Then it is go as you please for two hours
or more. And the amazing thing is that it does
go and does not get entangled in what seemed to
be inevitable confusion. Three fourths of the meeting consists of singing.
No one uses a hymn book, no one gives out
(48:00):
of him, And as a study of the psychology of crowds,
I've seen nothing like it. You feel that the thousand
or fifteen hundred persons before you have become merged into
one myriad headed but single souled personality. He goes on
(48:23):
a very remarkable instance of this abandonment of the meeting
to the spontaneous impulse not merely of those within the halls,
but of the crowds outside who were unable to get in,
which occurred on this Sunday night twice. The order of proceeding,
if the order could be called, was altered by the
(48:45):
crowd outside, who, being moved by some mysterious impulse, started
a hymn on their own account, which was at once
taken up by the congregation within. And I've heard that's
story over and over in reading about the Welsh Revival,
(49:07):
that the people that couldn't get in there were outside,
they were waiting for the next service, some for the
next morning, would be inspired by what they were hearing
to start singing and praising, and then that would trigger
the people inside, and it would be like back and
forth stereo and the Holy Spirit hanging off one another. Oh,
(49:28):
how we need that today, Not this smoke and mirrors
and lights in Hollywood. We need this from the heart.
Maybe that's why the Lord has me teaching on it.
Maybe that's had why he's had me dwelling on this
for about a week, but definitely over the last three days.
(49:50):
I read you Colossians three sixteen before. But I want
to add seventeen to it. Let the Word of God
dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever
(50:10):
you do in word or deed, do it all in
the name of the Lord Jesus. I don't know Yeshua.
Giving thanks to God the Father through him, psalms, hymns,
spiritual songs, thanks and singing together. Doing this under the
(50:33):
influence of the Holy Spirit builds up the church, and
it inspires unity. That's why they had no order. That's
why they really had nobody leading the service. Ivan Roberts
the one who started it, young man. He would sometimes
start things out. Sometimes he'd never get up from the
off his knees. The Holy Spirit was in control. They
(51:00):
were subject. They submitted to one another out of reverence
for the Lord, the Lord of their life. And the
word submitting here is being used as a military term
to be to be under in rank pertaining to the
arranging of affairs, of being under control, submitted to the
(51:23):
God appointed order, not because someone's smarter or better or
more talented, but the submission is reciprocal. They're not lord
it over. It's mutual, and the submission is from the Spirit,
which makes us a servant to one another to serve
(51:47):
one another through the inspiration of the Spirit. When we're
filled with the spirit, we see ourselves as part of
a unit, even a company or a battalion. And if
you will, an army is filled with individuals, but they
must never be individualistic, which means we, you and I,
(52:13):
we are to work together for the sake of the
Kingdom of God in unity and submission to the Lord's will.
The feeling of the Spirit in you and I results
in the absolute control of a believer's life by the
Spirit when that life is yielded to the Lord. So
(52:39):
the feeling of the spirit that I'm talking about here
right now is to be continually experienced, and there will
be special fellings that will occur in times of need
for a particular spiritual powers our abilities SrTA. When we
(53:03):
do what we do, we praise, we worship, we let
the Spirit fill us. And using that example, there's an
order and there's a submission to one another in the team,
and that's why He uses us to be as effective
(53:23):
as we are So the filling that I am sharing
with you is distinguished from the baptism of the Holy Spirit,
which was a gift at the moment of salvation. No,
I'm talking about be filled, be being filled. Even as
(53:53):
I've shared this with you, I have been filled. He's
been pouring into me, going through me. Be filled. Father, Abbah, Papa.
We worship you, We magnify your name. You are the
(54:18):
great God over all the earth, and there is none
like you, and we Lord are the sheep of your pasture.
Thank you, Thank you for your love for us. Thank
you for every drop of blood, Thank you for every
(54:42):
word you spoke. Thank you for the Holy Spirit inside
of us. Help us, just help us, Lord, to be better,
to be more like you, to walk in the spirit
(55:02):
and not fulfill the things of the flesh, to be
able to destroy the work of the enemy, setting the
captives free, healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons,
doing whatever it is you need us to do, whenever
it is you need us to do it. Let your
(55:24):
will be done. And I believe your will right now
for us is to be fulfilled, continually shaking it in,
pouring it out, and changing the world one last time.
Shaking it to the core, shaking its foundations, shaking open
(55:50):
the prison doors and setting the captives free before the
return of the King. And I pray, Lord, I pray
this be so in Jesus, in your shoe with name, Amen.
(56:12):
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the
Lord make his face to shine upon you and be
gracious to you. May the Lord, I don't know your
shoe Lehammasiah, Jesus the Messiah, lift up his countenance upon
