Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hello, Welcome to the Porch on Firefall Talk Radio. I'm
Richard Grund. This is where you find the uncompromised read
letter basics of the Word of God. We focus on
the Book of Act Church, the purest, most effective form
of the Church, to see how they serve the Lord.
(00:42):
When we do that, we find the Church the Lord
intended and not the one Man created. The Porch is
a non denominational, full gospel approach to the Bible based
on those examples from the Book of Act Church, and
it aims to restore the priesthood of the believer, or
regaining the world shaking influence of the early Church, the
(01:05):
Church ages and over. The Upper Room experience is as
much for today as it was on the day of Pentecost.
It's yours if you want it. We offer you the
Word as the Apostles would have to the Jewish and
Gentile believers of their day, using both Yeshuah and Jesus.
When speaking of the Lord. We prefer the term Messiah
(01:28):
rather than Christ, as it more accurately reflects how he
was referred to by those who knew him. Additionally, we
will provide definitions in Hebrew, Greek, and aramaic when it's
necessary getting back to basics. It's not just our motto,
it's a mandate from the Lord and we intend to
(01:49):
honor it. Links to all of our social media and

There are multiple online ways to send your blessing, and
(02:13):
if you need to mail it, there's a po box
address as well. Please do not hesitate to contact us
if you need additional information. We appreciate you your support,
your prayers, and your encouragement. Thank you for being a
part of the porch. Contact us if you need prayer.
Remember we care about you. Starting out with praise well,
(02:36):
first of all, praise Him for my salvation. Praise Him
for my home, my wife, my family, sons, daughter in law's, grandchildren,
furry kids, everything we have. Every blessing comes from above.
I praise Him for his provision and protection over each
and every one of us, for the dreams and the
(02:58):
visions as we live out Joel two to one, I
praise them for divine health and healing, the promise of
it and the manifestation of it. I praise them for
his divine abiding favor, for the continuing revelation of the
Holy Spirit, and for making us new creations and allowing
us to live in these prophetic times. Let's pray. Pray
(03:24):
for the peace of Jerusalem and they prosper love you.
Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces. For
the sake of my brethren and companions. I will now say,
peace be within you Psalm one twenty two, verses six
through eight. Why do I do that every week? Well,
Lord inspired me too, and because I see we are
(03:44):
heading towards that time with the revelation of the Antichrist
will come and the persecution of my Jewish brothers and
sisters and the Church will make this hell on earth. Thankfully,
I do not believe the Church itself will be here
for the worst part of it, but we're seeing it
now and I will stand with them. I stand with Israel.
(04:07):
I stand pray for the fatherless, the widows, the persecuted,
in the martyr, the innocence, and those who are victims
of injustice. Pray for divine wholeness, health and healing in me,
still dealing with whatever this flu or cold is all
these weeks later, and my wife, family, everybody we have.
(04:30):
If you're in pain, if you're hurting, if you're sick,
if you're dealing with something, just believe and receive in
you shoe his name to be healed. Let's get back
to our divine design. This earthly one isn't making it
for me. I'd rather have the divine One. But while
(04:51):
I'm here on earth, I can pray for His blessings
and believe for my body to return to it. Pray
for protection that Psalm ninety one, covering the inspiration of
the Holy Spirit, to inspire us to move forward, to
get up and do what we're called to do, for
the remnant to wake up, answer the call to action.
(05:12):
If you've been blessed, be a blessing. I pray against
the schemes of the fallen, that we shall, in His
name confront the enemy with confidence, purpose, and power. Pray ratification, encouragement.
Pray that we would have the courage to stand up
(05:33):
and tear down all the principalities that exalt themselves against
the knowledge of God, to set the captives free and
for the provision to come to do all those things.
So Father Abbah Papa, we thank you. We ask you
to bless us, protect us, heal us, and deliver us.
(05:56):
Watch over this technology. Lord, we thank you for what
you do on the cross. We thank you that the
empty tomb in the upper room have changed everything, a
new paradigm structure in the universe, and you have plugged
us into that power. So we thank you for that. Well. We
(06:16):
ask the Holy Spirit to have your way, teach us,
guide us, enlighten us into what he wants us to know.
This day on the porch, and I pray all these
things in your shoe his name, Amen.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Proverbs twenty two, verse one says a good name is
to be chosen rather than great riches. Ecclesiastes seven to
one says something similar or a good name is better than
precious ointment, which was very valuable. Something about a name
I'm going to talk about. According to the International Bible Encyclopedia,
(07:36):
the word name in the Hebrew is shim. In the
Greek it's onema. It's that by which a person, place,
or thing is marked and known. In Scripture, names were
generally descriptive of the person, of their position, of some
circumstance affecting them, of a hope entered atained concerning them,
(08:01):
so that the name often came to stand for the person.
Besides designating persons, the name also stood for fame, renowned, reputation,
character gained, or expressed. So the name of God was
therefore not a mere word, but the whole of the
(08:25):
divine manifestation of the character of God, as revealed in
his relations to his people and his dealings with them.
Exodus nine sixteen, God speaking to Moses. But indeed for
this purpose, I have raised you up, that I may
show my power in you, that my name may be
(08:48):
declared in all the earth. In the New Testament, on
Themah frequently told us the significance of the character, of
the work of the person. We see that in the
(09:09):
naming of Yeshua, of who he was, of who he is.
It's in his name Philippius two verses nine through eleven.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and given him the
name which is above every name. That the name of Yashiah.
(09:30):
Every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of
those on earth, and of those under the earth, and
that every tongue should confess that Jesus the Messiah is
Lord to the glory of God the Father. Baker Encyclopedia
the Bible says the significance of names in Biblical times
(09:55):
were given in order to express something important about that
perse or something that would happen through them, not to
simply hang a convenient label around his neck. So there
would be motivations in the choice of the names. And
we see that a lot in the Old Testament, some
(10:17):
recorded as an aspect of a person's birth. Moses got
his name from his adoptive mother because he was drawn
from water to draw out Exodus two ten. And the
child grew and she brought him the pharaoh's daughter, and
he became her son. So she called him Moses, saying
(10:37):
because I drew him out of the water. Ikabod was
the grandson of Eli, the priest, son of Phineas. Phineas's
wife was pregnant when she heard the sad news of
the ark of God had been captured by the Philistines.
She grieved so much that she went into labor and
(10:58):
gave birth to a boy, and she named the child Ichabod, saying,
the glory is departed from Israel. Akobad has been spoken
over churches and places of the nations in which God
had been present and withdrew himself. So it was a
(11:20):
common practice among the Israelites to give their children names
that describe circumstances around surrounding their birth. For example, the
name Samuel means God heard, because he was born in
answer to his mother's prayer for a child for Samuel
one to eleven. So Ichabod's name without glory is very powerful.
(11:50):
It used names or used to express parental reactions to
the birst. Isaac means laughter. Well, we'll see why. Genesis
seventeen seven. Then Abraham fell in his face and laughed,
and said in his heart, shall a child be born
to a man who was one hundred years old, And
(12:12):
shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child
Genesis eighteen twelve. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, after
I have grown old, shall I have pleasure my Lord
being old? Also Genesis twenty one, verses three through six,
(12:32):
and Abraham called the name of his son who was
born to him, who Sarah bored to him, Isaac. Then
Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old,
as God has commanded him. Now Abraham was one hundred
years old when his son Isaac was born to him,
And Sarah said, God has made me laugh, and all
(12:55):
who here will laugh with me. Names reveal the nature
of the person, their function, or something significant about them.
Matthew one twenty one, speaking of Mary, and she shall
bring forth a son, and you shall name him Jesus.
(13:16):
You shore a savior, for he will save his people
from their sins. So you show a savior. Jehovah is salvation.
So every time you speak his name, you're declaring who
is the source of salvation. We just saw I'll call
(13:39):
it a parade and a protest happening simultaneously. As Christians
were marching, Muslims decided to march against them, and one
saying the name of Jesus, the other saying the name
of Mohammad, and eventually the two crowds came to blows
(14:01):
Luke one, starting verse thirty one, and behold, you shall
conceive in your womb and bring forth a son, and
you shall call his name Yasha or Jesus. He will
be great, and he will be called the Son of
the Highest. And the Lord God will give him the
throne of his father David, and he will reign over
(14:21):
the house of Jacob forever and of his kingdom. There
will be no act. It wasn't just an appellation. It
wasn't just something to call him. It was a declaration.
It was a statement. In John chapter four, when yeshe
(14:44):
is speaking to the woman smardin woman at the well
and they're talking about worship, he says in verse twenty one, woman,
believe me, the hour is coming when you neither on
this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father. You worship
what you do not know. We know what we worship,
(15:05):
for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming,
and now is when true worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth. For the Father is seeking such
to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship
him must worship in spirit and truth. And the woman
(15:28):
said to him, I know that Messiah is coming. When
he comes, he will tell us all things. And ye
she have said to her, I who speak to you,
am he. Then in verse twenty eight we see the
woman left a water pot, went into the city and
said to the men of the city, come and see
(15:48):
a man who told me all things that I ever did.
Could this be the Messiah? And then they went out
of the city and came to him. These are Samaritans
who have come to see the Jewish Messiah. The reality
of Messiah crosses all boundaries. Was seeing that in the
(16:12):
Middle East right now people having dreams and visitations and visions.
This frightens the enemy. The enemy can't do anything about it.
This war. This declaration of his name began on the
day of Pentecost, when Peter stood up in front of
(16:34):
the crowds and said, in verse thirty six of Acts two,
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that
God has made this Yashua, whom you crucified, both Lord
and Messiah. Now when they heard this, they were cut
to the heart and said to Peter and the rest
(16:55):
of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do?
And Peter said to them join a church, become a
member by some book. No, that's not what he said.
First thirty eight, repent, and let every one of you
be baptized in the name of Jesus the Messiah, Yeshua Hamashiah,
(17:16):
for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit for the promises to you
and your children, and to all who are afar off,
as many as the Lord our God will call. Peter
didn't pull any punchers. It made it very clear that
(17:38):
it was in the name of the Lord, in the
name of Jesus of Nazareth. Now we don't know if
the disciples understood all the titles that they were saying, Messiah,
Son of God, all these things, but I believe that
after the resurrection and the infilling of the Holy Spirit,
(18:00):
they got the meaning way back in John chapter one,
when Andrew and Peter follow the Lord starting verse thirty five,
and again the next day, John the Baptist stood with
his two disciples, and looking at Yeshua as he walked,
he said, behold the Lamb of God. The two disciples
(18:23):
heard him speak, and they followed. Yeshuah and Yashua turned
and seeing them, said to them, what do you seek?
And they said to him, Rabbi, which means teacher, where
are you staying? And then he said, come and see.
And they came and saw where he was staying, and
remained with him that day. It was about the tenth hour.
(18:46):
One of the two who heard John speak and followed
him was Andrew, Simon, Peter's brother. He first found his
own brother. Simon had said to him, we have found
the Messiah, and he brought him to Yeshua. Later on
verse forty three. The following day, Yeshie wanted to go
to Galilee, and he found Philip and said to him,
(19:07):
follow me. Now Philip was from Beth, side of the
city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathaniel and said
to him, we have found him whom Moses in the
law and all the prophets. Also the prophets wrote Jesus
of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathaniel said, Kannathan, good,
(19:29):
come out of Nazareth. And Philip said, come and see
saw Nathaniel coming toward him, and said of him, behold
an Israelite, indeed, of whom is no deceit. Nathaniel said
to him, how do you know me? And you had
answered it and said to him before Philip called you,
(19:51):
when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
Nathaniel answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the
son of God. You are the King of Israel. And
Jesus answered and said, because I said to you I
saw you under the fig tree, do you believe you
will see greater things than these? And he said to
(20:13):
them most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall
see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and
descending upon the Son of Man, declaring himself to be
essentially Jacob's ladder, the connection between God and Man. Look
(20:34):
at all these different names, Rabbi Messiah, son of God,
King of Israel, all these things they're calling him. Prophecy
had preceded him, and they saw it. Prophecy knew that
(20:54):
we needed him and declared it. The prophet Isaiah declared
it Isaiah nine to two. The people who walked in
darkness have seen a great light, and those who dwelt
in the land of the shadow of death upon them
(21:15):
a light has shined. That light was in the form
of a child. Picking up at verse six for unto us,
a child is born, unto us, a son is given,
and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his
(21:36):
name will be called Wonderful counselor Mighty God, Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace.
There will be no end upon the throne of David
and over his kingdom, to order it and establish it
with judgment and peace. From that time forward, even forever,
(22:01):
the zeal of the Lord of Host will perform this
wonderful counselor. It's one name, not too although there's a
comma there put in by the writers of the Bible,
wonderful counselor Mighty God in the Hebrew Elgiboor literally God hero,
(22:25):
the heroic God, everlasting Father, the type of fatherhood of
God the Messiah brings to us forever guarding and sustaining us,
the Prince of Peace, Messiah offering us peace from the
(22:45):
struggle and warfare of this fallen world. Taking together the
four names of the coming Messiah are an extension of
the name Emmanuel Isaiah seven fourteen. Therefore, the Lord himself
will give you a sign. Behold, the virgins shall conceive
(23:06):
and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel,
which means God is with us. So these are not
names in the modern sense of the word, but rather
attributes of the one to whom they are given. In
(23:26):
Luke chapter two, starting verse eight, when the angels of
the Lord appeared, now, they were in the same country,
shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their
flock by night. And behold, an Angel of the Lord
stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shown
around them. And they were greatly afraid. And the Angel
(23:49):
said to them, do not be afraid, for behold, I
bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be
to all people. For there is born to you this
day in the city of David, a savior who is
Messiah the Lord. See, the angels knew who he was.
(24:10):
They knew what their assignment was to declare his name.
In Matthew chapter one, verse twenty, at the point that
Joseph is considering breaking off the engagement with Mary because
he discovers she's pregnant, an angel of the Lord appeared
to him in a dream. Joseph's, son of David, do
(24:31):
not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for
the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
and she will have a son, and you will name
him Yashia, for he will save his people from their sins.
And all of this occurred to fulfill the Lord's message
through his prophet. Look, the virgin will conceive a child.
(24:53):
She will give birth to a son, and they will
call him Emmanuel. God is with us. The written word
confirmed the living word, and Joseph honored that. And the
marriage between he and Mary was not consummated, according to scripture,
(25:14):
until after Jesus you sure was born. So the prophet
Isaiah told us a lot about this Messiah. In chapter eleven,
verse one, they shall come forth a rod from the
stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of
its roots. The King James Vision Study Bible says in
(25:39):
this section, the prophet indicates that he is his coming
is yet in the distant future. Isaiah predicts that the
tree of the line of David will be cut down,
and that a shoot must grow out of the stock
of Jesse before it will flourish again. He predicts that
a rod or a spout will come forth from the
(26:03):
root or the stump the stem of Jesse, which is
David's father, and the forefather of the Davidic lion. In
Revelation five to five, one of the elders says to John,
do not weep, behold the lion of the tribe of Judea.
The root of David has prevailed to open the scroll
and loose its seven seals. That's who we're waiting for,
(26:27):
the lion of the tribe of Judah. He came as
a baby, he died as a lamb of God. He's
coming back as a king. So his name is the
fulfillment of the prophecy of Genesis three fifteen. I will
(26:47):
put enmity between you and the woman, between your seed
and her seed. He shall bruise your head, and you
shall bruise his heel. The prophecy of the Messiah was
given to us all the way back in the garden.
(27:07):
Unto us, a son is given a son, not a daughter.
Man was given the responsibility of headship of the race
of man, and by Adam's decision caused its downfall. So
it took a man to redeem the race. Both man
and woman played a part in the fall, and both
(27:31):
had to play a part in the redemption, for the
redeemer had to be a man born of a woman
to fulfill the prophecy and meet God's demands. If he
said it, it must happen the way he said it.
A son is given. Oh doesn't say when, does it?
(27:54):
You know? Indetermined unmentioned period of time, but in a
period of fulfilled prophecies. Galatians four to four explains to
us that when the fullness of time had come, God
sent forth his son Capitalists, born of a woman, born
under the law, in the fullness of time. We don't
(28:17):
know what God's timing is, but do I sure wish
I did? But we know that in the fullness of time,
if he said it, it will happen. Of the increase
of His government and peace, there will be no end
upon the throne of David Nover's kingdom to order and
establish it with judgment and justice. From that time forward
(28:41):
even forever, the zeal of the Lord of Host will perform. This,
the zeal, the passion, the fervor, the fire. This isn't
a casual thing, and his government indicates the of rulership, dominion,
(29:03):
that is under his authority, the authority to rule, the
right to be the sovereign of all the earth. The
Nelson's study Bible says that phrase of the increase may
be translated to him will increase, and using both government
(29:25):
and peace in the same phrase, you could simply say
it's going to be a peaceful rain. The risen Lord
brings the rule of peace into the believer's heart in
the present age, and then he will establish the kingdom
of God on earth, and we will be a part
(29:47):
of his reign of peace. Upon his shoulder. He's taking
a weight upon him. The responsibility of rule and judgment
and justice is a him and him alone. That's something
we forget. Yes, we help him, we participate with him,
(30:10):
but it's his rule, his judgment, his justice. Daniel prophesied
in chapter seven, starting verse thirteen, and said, I was
watching in the night visions, and behold one like the
son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven. He
(30:31):
came to the ancient of days, and they brought him
near before him. Then to him was given dominion and
glory in a kingdom that all peoples, nations and languages
should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which
shall not pass away, and his kingdom the one which
(30:54):
shall not be destroyed. Right there, Daniel seven the phrase's
Son of Man and Ancient of Days are direct quotes
from first Enoch and Daniel, being who he was in
Babylon and the things he'd studied and the things he'd read,
would have had access to the book over and over
(31:20):
and over. Luke Chapter one, verse thirty, the Angel says
to marry, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have
found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in
your womb and bring forth a son, and you shall
call his name you sure, and he will be great,
will be called the Son of the Highest, and the
(31:41):
Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.
And he will reign of the House of Jacob forever,
and of his kingdom. There will be no act. He
will be great. He is great even now. He is
the Great God, the Great Lord, the Great Messiah, the
(32:01):
Great Savior, the Great Shepherd. Revelation eleven fifteen, the seventh
Angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven saying,
the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of
our Lord and his Messiah, and he shall reign forever
and ever. How have we lost this? How have we
(32:26):
lost the passion for this? I get it. We want familiarity,
we want closeness, we want intimacy, but we must remember
who we are close with. We must never forget who
he is. We must never casually enter his presence. I'm
(32:49):
amazed by people who say that they're believers, who do
the things they do in secret and in the dark,
and then walk into a fellowship hall or meet with
the congregation, sing on stage, maybe stand behind the pulpit,
and have no fear of a living God. It amazed
(33:12):
me when I first got saved. It still amazes me today.
His name shall be called Wonderful counselor the Mighty God,
the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. How about we
start using that our prayers. How about we start speaking
his name? How about we start believing in his name.
(33:39):
The word wonderful pelee a miracle, a marvelous thing. The
noun frequently expresses the wonder the extraordinary aspects of God's
dealings with his people. Every morning I have a little
journal that I keep here, that I write it and
always make some scriptural declaration before I start my day.
(34:06):
This morning it was the Lord is the strength of
my life. The other morning was the Lord's my anchor
in the storm. He holds me and keeps me safe. Yesterday,
there is no God but God, the Greek God over
all the earth. Lately it has been more about a
(34:27):
declaration of who he is than quoting a scripture. So
there's something's sturing the spirit. There's something happening for me
to be led to teach this. We taught it a
very long time ago. To come back to it and
do it again, to talk about this twenty third Psalm,
the ninety first Psalm. All these things are about who
(34:49):
he is and what he's doing for us in this world,
for his people and his church Isaiah twenty nine fourteen.
Therefore behold, I will again do a marvelous work among
this people, a marvelous work and a wonder for the
wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding
(35:11):
of their prudent men shall be hidden. I like this
one Exodus fifteen eleven. Who is like you, oh Lord,
among the gods? Who is like you? Glorious and holiness?
This is a passion. You know. My ministry started with
(35:39):
trying to show people spiritual warfare using my testimony of
what I came out of, and then the teaching of Abbah. Father,
It's all been about a relationship. It's all about knowing
who we are and him and who he is is.
(36:02):
And as the storm clouds circle us, you're really gonna
need to hold on to him. Maybe you're going through
something right now. It is harder than anything you've ever
had to go through in your life. You can count
on him. You can count on him to be as
good as his word and to live up to his name.
(36:25):
Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods, small
g false gods, liars, posers, Who is like you, O Lord,
cloious and holiness? I hope we find our way back
(36:46):
to the passion that the early Church had saw eighty nine,
starting verse five. And the heavens will praise your wonders,
O Lord, faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.
For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord,
(37:07):
Who among the sons of the Mighty can be likened
to the Lord God is greatly to be feared in
the assembly of the saints, and to be held in
reverence by all those around him, O Lord, God of Host,
Who is mighty like you? O Lord? Your faithfulness also
(37:28):
surrounds you again? If you are not reading the word.
If you are not speaking the word over yourselves every
morning and think that you can just get up, take
your shower, have your coffee, and rush out into a
(37:49):
fallen world under the control of the wicked one and
the kingdom of darkness, You're making a mistake. You must
read this word. You must speak this word over yourselves.
Who is like you? A lord fearful in praises, doing wonders?
(38:16):
What wonders has he done for you? We've lost our
wonder of who he is, and when we do that,
we lose the ability. We lose the ability to praise
him in a way that he can inhabit our praise.
(38:40):
That's what brings him close to you. People ask me,
how do I get close to the Lord? Praise him?
He inhabits the praises of his people. Counselor to advise,
to consult, to deliberate, to guide. That name expresses the
(39:07):
idea that he is the supreme counselor the one who
has qualified to give counsel and advice to all created
beings on everything. I'm too busy seeking the counsel of
the world or the counsel of people. We need to
start in the word. What does the word say? And
(39:30):
then go to people that confirm that word and help
you to understand it. Psalm sixteen seven. I will bless
the Lord who has given me counsel. My heart also
instructs me in the night seasons. Well, can't do that
if the word's not in you, Mighty God. I like that,
(39:52):
Mighty God, Elgiboor, powerful, strong, champion, chief, almighty, the strong one,
the conquering God. Oh, the enemy doesn't lie. One doesn't
want to hear that. They don't want to be reminded.
(40:13):
They lost before and they're going to lose again. Gee,
we would want to do that to them, would we? Yes?
We would. Israel's God, our God, our father is a
mighty god. Isaiah ten twenty one. The remnant will return,
(40:35):
the remnant of Jacob where to the Mighty God, and
he had the power to deliver them. Zephaniah three, p. Seventeen.
The Lord, your God and your midst, the Mighty One
Elgibor will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness.
He will quiet you with his love. He will rejoice
(40:59):
over you with singing. The Lord your God is in
your mist right. Now wherever you are the mighty one
who will save you. And while he's doing that, he
rejoices over you with gladness, and he quiets you with
(41:23):
his love. He rejoices over you with singing. Jeremiah thirty
two offers a moving confession. He starting verse sixteen. Now,
when I had delivered the purchase deed to Baruk, the
(41:45):
son of Noriyah, I prayed to the Lord, saying, ah,
Lord God, behold, you have made the heavens and the
earth by your great power and outstretched arm. There is
nothing too hard for you. You show loving kindness to thousands,
and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom
(42:07):
of their children after them. The Great, the Mighty God,
whose name is the Lord of Hosts. Ah Lord God, behold,
you've made the heavens and the earth by your great power,
(42:28):
your outstretched arm. There's nothing too difficult for you, nothing
too hard for you, nothing that you can't do. Psalm
twenty four answers the question who is this King of glory.
He's the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
(42:52):
Psalm twenty four, verse eight. That's our Lord and Savior.
That's our Messiah. Yeah, that's what we have. That's what
walks with us, That's what overshadows us. This King of Glory,
(43:15):
the Lord Strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
We know that's the King who's coming. Why do we wonder,
why do we fear? Why do we doubt? Having him
is our king? I guess I'm guilty of that. I
(43:36):
don't doubt him. I doubt me. I doubt my ability
to hold on. I doubt sometimes my own faith. But
the truth is, my faith is in isn't in me.
My faith isn't in my faith. My faith is in him,
(43:56):
the Everlasting Father, the Father of etern, the planner of
the ages, the Father of all time. That's your dad. Then, finally,
the Prince of peace, a leader who brings peace. Wait,
(44:18):
a bitch, I don't have peace. I'm in a fallen
world that all the stuff's going on around me. Okay,
let's let's look at that. We know from Isaiah eleven
that he is coming out of the stem of Jesse.
He is going to bring what spirit of wisdom and understanding,
(44:42):
spirit of the Lord, spirit of counsel and might, the
spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. He's
bringing those things for us he's going to judge the
poor with righteousness, bring equity for the meek of the earth,
(45:05):
and for anyone else. He's going to strike the earth
with the rod of his mouth. He's going to speak
the word. We know that's gonna happen, And the breath
of his lips at the end shall slay the wicked
in the final judgment. Picking up verse five, Righteousness shall
be the belt of his loins, and faithfulness the belt
of his waist. The wolf will also dwell with the lamb.
(45:30):
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat. The
calf and the young lion and the fatling together, and
the little child shall lead them. The cow and the
bear shall graze, the young ones shall lie down together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The
(45:51):
nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the
weaned child jubb with his hand, and the viper's den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy it in all my
holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the
knowledge of the Lord. As the waters cover the sea.
(46:13):
We know that time is coming. We know what Isaiah
saw is coming, and that last part the earth shall
be full of the knowledge of the Lord. How does
that happen. It happens through his church, bringing the good news,
(46:36):
the Gospel, spreading the knowledge of the Lord. But we
can't do that in our current condition, because we have
lost the wonder and the reverence due to the Messiah.
(46:56):
We have lost our awe of his identity and his works,
and we have lost the majesty of his name. His
name is wonderful. His name is wonderful. His name is wonderful, Jesus,
(47:24):
my Lord. He is the mighty King, master of everything.
His name is wonderful, Jesus my Lord. He is the
great Shepherd, the Rock of all ages, Almighty God. Is
(47:51):
he bow down before him, love and ador him. His
name is wonderful, Jesus, you sure, my Lord, my Savior,
(48:14):
my Master, my everything. Let us regain the wonder of
his name. Let us regain the knowledge of who he is.
Let us regain the majesty and the awe and the
wonder and the reverence of his name, so that when
(48:37):
you pray and you speak it out loud, it makes
your body reverberate, makes your inner being come to life,
and makes the enemy run. Let's drive the enemy crazy
by speaking his name out loud, believing and receiving and
(49:00):
doing what his name empowers us to do. So, Father Abbah, Papa,
thank you, Thank you for doing this for us. Thank
you for sending You're sure to do it for you.
(49:28):
Your love and your grace is still amazing. Thank you, Lord,
I don't I for paying our debts, for covering our
sins with your blood, so that when we stand before
(49:51):
our father and you and you open the Lamb's Book
of life, it shows debts paid. Thank you for loving
us when we were unlovable. Sometimes we still are, but
(50:11):
you love us anyway, because your grace is still amazing.
Help us right now, Holy Spirit, to grasp this, burn
it into us our minds, our hearts, our spirits. Let
us begin to speak the name of your shoe, of
(50:33):
the name of Jesus, and love and power and reverence
and honor, declaring his great name every chance we get
without fear, standing strong in the Lord and the power
of his might, setting the captives free, telling them that hey,
(50:56):
I know you're going through a bad time, but Jesus
he sure loves you. He's there for you, He'll walk
with you through it because his name is wonderful. I
pray all these things. Lord, all of these things, and
(51:22):
you show his name. Amen. May the Lord bless you
and keep you. May the Lord make his face to
shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the
Lord may I don't I you're sure how much, Sah
(51:43):
Jesus numb Messiah, King of King's, Lord of Lords, lift
up his countenance upon you and give you peace, Give
you shallow. I'm Richard Grund. This has been the Porch
