Thousands of college students are being saved and baptized at events that have sparked a revival sweeping across America. The Gospel is being preached, and the convicting presence of the Holy Spirit is there. The fire is burning brightly and changing everyone who encounters it. We need to keep the fire burning and eliminate anything that would quench that fire.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Hello, Welcome to the Porch on Firefall Talk Radio. I'm
Richard Grund. This is when we get back to basics,
the uncompromised read letter basics of the Word of God.
We focus on the Book of Acts Church to see
how they serve the Lord. We do that to find
the Church the Lord intended and not the one Man created.

(00:44):
The Porch is a non denominational full Gospel approach to
the Bible. It's based on the examples from the Book
of Act Church, and it aims to restore the priesthood
of the believer while regaining the world's shaking influence of
the early Church. The Church age isn't over. The Upper
Room experience is as much for today as it was

(01:07):
on the day of Pentecost. It's yours if you want it.
We offer you the Word as the Apostles would have
to the Jewish and gentile believers of their day. We
use both Yeshuah and Jesus when speaking of the Lord.
We prefer the term Messiah rather than Christ, as it
more accurately reflects how he was referred to by those

(01:29):
who knew him. Additionally, when needed, we will provide definitions
in Hebrew, Greek, and aramaics so that you get the
full content and context of what is being said. Getting
back to basics is not just a motto, it's a
mandate from the Lord that we are committed to fulfill.

We will gladly answer all your questions. We appreciate you,
your support, your prayers, and your encouragement. Contact us if

(02:33):
you need prayer, We want to pray for you. We
care about you. Start out praise I praise them for
my salvation. Without that, I have nothing, none of these
other things I'm about to mention what I have. I
wouldn't have my home, I wouldn't have my wife, I
wouldn't have my sons, and daughter in laws and grandchildren.

(02:54):
I wouldn't have all the furry kids we have now
and all that we've had over the years. Everything has
come from Him and my getting saved, healed, and delivered
in October of nineteen eighty eight. I praise him for provision,
for protection, for everything he offers us in his word

(03:15):
and by his spirit, for the dreams and the visions.
I praise him for divine health and healing, for his
abiding favor, for the continuing presence and revelation of the
Holy Spirit, and for making me and you a new
creation and allowing us to live in these prophetic times.

(03:37):
Let's pray. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem as
they prosper who love you Some one twenty two, verse six.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
With everything going.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
On in the Middle East right now, I believe that
that is going to be more necessary, more needed than ever.
I pray for America, that He would forgive us and
shed his grace upon us, guide our leaders and their
decision making, and convict those that are not doing what

(04:04):
He wants them to do. I pray for all the
people being victimized and harmed by their leaders, especially those
in Iran right now, being slaughtered because they want to
be free of the suppressing regime that has controlled them
all these years. I pray for God to rescue them

(04:27):
and set them free. I pray for the fatherless, the widows,
the persecuted, and the martyrd, the innocence, both in and
out of the womb, those who are victims of injustice.
I pray against the slaughter of the innocence. We slaughter
them in the womb, we slaughter them in life, human

(04:48):
and animal. We do not treat His creation with care
and dedication. I pray for the missing and exploited children,
those that are victims of human sex trafficking, an evil, diabolical,
satanic effort that needs to be crushed and everyone involved

(05:11):
needs to either repent or be destroyed. I pray for
our brothers and sisters around the world being slaughtered and
persecuted for their faith against I pray against the growing
religious persecution and anti Semitism that I can't seem to
get away from. Every time I turn around, somebody is
spouting its spewing it's a better word, which means I

(05:34):
am praying against the efforts of the spirit of the Antichrist.
I pray for divine wholeness, health and healing in each
and every one of us as we go through whatever
we're going through right now. I pray that, in the
name of Yoshiahamashiah Jesus the Messiah, you would be healed,
I would be healed, We would return back to our

(05:58):
divine design, for him to protect us and inspire us,
and for those that are asleep to awaken to the
call to action. I pray for the doors to open
for all of his projects and plans, and for his
kingdom finances to flow so that we can do kingdom business.

(06:21):
Father Abah, we come to you in the name above
all names, the name of Yashuah Hamoshiach Jesus the Messiah.
We boldly approach your throne of grace and mercy. We
thank you for loving us even when we were unlovable.
We thank you for sending your only begotten son to

(06:42):
die for us to pay for our sins, because without
blood there is no remission of sins. You have put
a covenant in place, a perpetual covenant that must be met,
It must be honored. And Lord, you did that for us.
You washed the way our sins, you blott it out,

(07:02):
our deaths. Thank you for your love, fee grace, for
your mercy. Thank you for sending back the Holy Spirit
to walk with us, teach us and guide us, to
encourage us, inspire us, and empower us. And I ask you,
Holy Spirit, to do that this day. Make this word

(07:25):
come alive, Make the Lord's intentions clear in our hearts
and our minds. Let us see clearly, and let us
hear what he wants us to hear. We give you control.
We give up every bit of our control to you,
and say, have your way, protect the technology, and let

(07:46):
this word go forth. And I pray all these things
and your shoe his name, And if you agree with me,
say amen.

of the following information.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Isaiah fifty seven fifteen. The amplified version says for the
high and exalted one, he who inhabits eternity, whose name
is holy, says this, I will dwell on the high
and holy place, but also with the contrite and humble
in spirit, in order to revive the spirit of the

(08:55):
humble and to revive the heart of the contrite overcome
with sorrow for sin. That word contrite means crushed in spirit.
It's something we all desire, but especially believers. We know
that we're not perfect. We know that we fail, and

(09:17):
we know that there are times we mess up, and
the convicting presence of the Holy Spirit touches.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Our heart and we cry out.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
We cry out to the Lord Psalm eighty five, verse six,
will you not revive us again? That your people may
rejoice in you again? In ps Someone thirty eight, verse seven,
though I walk in the midst of trouble.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
You will revive me.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of
my enemies, and your right hand will save me. This
comes from the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. It
is the of the Holy Spirit burning inside of us
that stirs up this fire of conviction and a desire

(10:09):
for revival. Jonathan Edwards said, revival seems to spread on
the wings of testimony, testimony from those who have been revived,
testimony to works of grace. It seems to ignite a
spark in other individuals as well. That's why your testimony

(10:29):
is so powerful. Edwards said that the fact that emotion
is there or not doesn't really mean anything. And these
are the five marks of a true, genuine work of God.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
According to him.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
The five are Jesus, he is, shua is honored, Satan's
kingdom is opposed through repentance for our sins. God's word
is revered and highly regarded. God's truth is revealed, and
God and others are loved. That's what is necessary for

(11:14):
this to take place. And just like we talked about
last week, and I wasn't going to continue this teaching.
I had some other place I thought I was supposed
to go. But then over the last week what we
talked about has been happening. We talked about a holy
fire burning across the campuses in America. Well, it's happening

(11:37):
right here in Florida. And I'm reading quotes from online
and from a CBN article sixteen hundred Decisions for Jesus
at the University of Central Florida, which is not too
far from here. Revival is not slowing down. And this
was a quote from somebody at the event. Over five

(12:00):
thousand students gathered at the University of Central Florida to
lift the name of Jesus. Hundreds of students were baptized,
and many who had identified as atheists now identify as Christian.
The group Unitas has held two dozen Christian Revival events

(12:21):
on college campuses since the movement started three years ago,
which kicked off with the Asbury Awakening in February twenty
twenty three. As we talked about last week, and it
signaled a fresh move of the Holy Spirit of God
among American students. Another event took place after that in
September of twenty twenty three at Auburn University. Organizers were

(12:45):
stunned by the massive turnout and the immediate signs of
an awakening when approximately two hundred students decided to get
spontaneously baptized in a nearby lake. Since then, more than
one hundred and twenty thousand students have participated in United's outreaches,

(13:06):
with thousands of them making decisions to follow Jesus the
Messiah for the rest of their lives. Revival is broken
out of the campuses of FSU, Alabama, Georgia, Cincinnati, Grand Canyon, Tennessee, Oklahoma,
and Purdue across the globe. Young people are experiencing significant

(13:28):
spiritual movement in their lives. Historically, God has often initiated
spiritual revivals among the next generation, and we'll talk about
that next time, those who seek truth, freedom, and purpose. Today,
this pattern is repeating as spiritual awakening spreads over the

(13:50):
college campuses, inspiring thousands of students, sparking renewed faith and
changing their lives and influencing the few future of our nation.
The article concludes, this current movement goes beyond revival. It
signals that God's spirit is actively working to renew the church,

(14:11):
bring awakening to the nations, and accomplish His purposes through
this generation.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
So what are the keys? The keys to this?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
And this is what I thought I was going to
talk about. I kind of am the keys to it.
We mentioned weord testimony, prayer, and worship. That's what fuels
the fire. In this particular case, central to the movement
is an increased focus on prayer and worship. Students are

(14:41):
participating in organized prayer meetings and engaging in collective worship
activities on campuses. These gatherings are scene as an opportunity
for personal reflection and growth, fostering a sense of community
and spiritual development among its participants. That's what's going on

(15:01):
right now, and it's sparking an interest in outreach and
faith sharing initiatives. You can't just sit on it. You
can't just sit at the fire, like I said last week,
around the fire, You've got to take it out there.
Students are actively utilizing social media about this. They're participating

(15:23):
in community engagement efforts, and they're forming discipleship groups to
connect with others. Again another key discipleships. Many of the
campuses are reporting establishment of student led prayer meetings and
outreach ministries. Where else is this happening? Well, the spirit

(15:45):
has descended upon Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. What started
as an SEU Southeastern University conference themed do it Again
turned into a worship breakout that has left did more
than a week. If you don't know, Southeastern University, Lakeland,

(16:06):
Florida has a student population of about ten thousand. It's
operated by the Assemblies of God. It's a legitimate place,
offers fifty bachelor degrees, twenty six masters, two doctoral programs.
I've been there for taekwondo events because they teach Christian

(16:27):
that taekwondo and for the past couple of years. As
we talked about, this is going on in other places,
and typically they're one day events, but the thing a
Southwestern started out differently. It started out as a weekend
conference that is still going on. A three day conference

(16:50):
started on Monday, February ninth, twenty twenty six, and was
supposed to end on Wednesday, February twelfth, but the Holy
Spirit had other plan. One of the attendees there posted online.
Was started as a two hour morning session turned into
a twelve hour service because no one wanted to leave

(17:12):
the presence of the Holy Spirit was so tangible all day.
It then continued into the Seu Chapel at midnight and
was still going on at three point thirty am. This
particular person had to leave to catch their flight and
he said it's still going on, well over twenty four
hours later. I'm honestly speechless at what God is doing

(17:34):
amongst this young gen Z generation. Their hunger for the
Lord is just incredible. He is clearly raising a new generation.
Hundreds of students came forward on alter calls, calls to
be commissioned into ministry, callings from another article on CBN,

(17:58):
everything was triggered when Chris speaker and podcaster Genny Allen
don't know what she is, I have to look her up.
She called students to repentance, and the campus pastor, Jonathan
Rivera told the CBN reporter that's when things unexpectedly, unexpectedly
excuse me, began to change.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
What she did, he said, was she asked students to
confess sin publicly and as loud as possible.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
At first, we were kind of like, we don't know
how this is going to look where this is going
to go. And students literally leaned in completely and started
shouting as loud as they could, confessing sin, burdens, issues,
all kinds of stuff. And after that happened, something shifted

(18:52):
in the room, something undeniable that we all felt, he
went on to explain. So then we we anceled the lunch,
and we thought maybe we need to push back our
break pushed back our breakout sessions, and then we canceled
our breakout sessions. Then we thought maybe we need to

(19:12):
push back our classes, and then we canceled our classes
because the worship wasn't ending and something undeniable was happening,
So we just leaned into it. And during that time,
the university decided to make space for God to keep moving.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
The time of.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
The worship and prayer and confession continued for more than
twenty four hours. The students eventually had to leave the
rented building they had for the conference, and so they
moved it to the campus chapel. There was a distinct
shift in the meeting after the publics that I can

(19:53):
almost not even talk, folks. There was a distinct shift
in the meeting after they shouted their repentance for their
sins for fifteen minutes. Powerful praise and worship continued all
night long. Southeastern canceled classes and the meetings, according to

(20:16):
the university, will continue as long as students are responding,
as long as the services remain focused on Jesus. There
have been reports of physical healings, even among those watching
the live stream from their homes. Campus leaders have reached

(20:36):
out to Asbury University seeking advice on how to steward
the outpouring. I'll tell you one thing to do. Just
let God move. Don't shut it down because you're done.
Wait till he's done. So what did they do? They
confessed their sins one to another. Gee that sounds biblical
James five sixteen. Confess your trespasses to one anther pray

(21:01):
for one another that you may be healed. The effective,
fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much so then,
of course man decided, no, no, no, you confess. Can't
confess to each other. You've got to come confess to us.
We're going to control how.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
You do it. We're going to control where you do it.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
No, you won't, because when the Holy Spirit wants to
do it, he'll do it anywhere, at any time. Because
first John one nine tells us, if we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That's what they did,

(21:41):
spontaneously from their hearts, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
got cleansed from their unrighteousness. Never forget. If we freely
admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, he
is faithful and just, true to his own nature and

(22:03):
his promises, and will forgive us our sins and cleanse
us continually from all unrighteousness, from our wrongdoing, and from
everything not in conformity with His will and purpose. That's
what happens when the Holy Spirit is present, that's why

(22:24):
the Lord sent him John fifteen twenty six amplified. But
when the helper, the comforter, the advocate, the intercessor, the
counselor the strengthener, the standby comes, whom I will send
to you from the Father, that is the spirit of truth,
who comes, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify

(22:47):
and bear witness about me. In John sixteen eight through eleven,
he tells us, and when he has come, he will
convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of
judgment of sin, because they do not believe in me.
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father and you
see me no more. Of judgment, because the ruler of

(23:11):
this world is judged. That's what happens. When the fire
is burning and the presence of the Holy Spirit is there.
He will convict the world about the guilt of sin
and the need for a savior, about righteousness and about judgment,

(23:34):
about sin and the true nature of it, because they
do not believe in him and his message about righteousness,
personal integrity, and godly character, because he went to the
Father and we see him no more, And about judgment
and the certainty of it, because the ruler of this

(23:58):
world Hasatah, Satan, has been judged and condemned. That's why
Satan in the fallen and their demonic offspring of the
Kingdom of Darkness don't like what's happening because it reminds
them you've been judged. And the Holy Spirit, when he's
doing this, brings the Lord to the forefront. He makes

(24:22):
the Lord the focused, not any man, not any denomination,
not any talent or artists or anything.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
It's all about, is sure. It's all about.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, no other name but Jesus. We need him,
We need the Holy Spirit to bring this to us
and to awaken us. But we have a model to follow.

(24:54):
The very first awakening was in the Upper Room. That's
the example we should always look to. The International Standard
Bible Encyclopedia says the word awake, to waken, to arouse
from sleep, the ordinary terms for awakening from national I'm sorry,

(25:16):
I'm sorry, Thank you, Lord, thank you for the presidency.
Always spirit the ordinary terms for awakening from natural slumbers.
As of Jacob at Bethel and Genesis twenty eight sixteen.
As of issue in the storm tossed boat Luke A.

(25:37):
Twenty four.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
It's a.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
It's used to bring the effect of an awakening from mental, moral,
and spiritual sleep. It's a moral awakening from the sins
like drunkenness, to become sober.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Wake up, stop doing what you're doing.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
Historians and theologians identify three or four waves of increased
religious enthusiasm occurring between the eighteenth and late nineteenth century.
And I believe we're on the verge of another one.
I personally believe before again any further, because there are
other things going on. There are revivals and salvations and

(26:23):
mass gatherings happening in India and Chile and all these
other places around the world, so many, you know, I
couldn't tell you them all, but I've been trying to
save them. If you follow me on social media, whether
it's Facebook or Instagram, I'm constantly posting them, constantly posting
the images and the reports. There's something going on. There's

(26:46):
two moves going on, actually, and I want you to
see it this way. You know, the Earth is made
up of these tectonic plates and they slide up against
each other and they you know, they expand and they
release the gases from the core and they slide back
and forth. But when they slide back and forth, something's happened.
First of all, gives off an electro magnetic frequency because

(27:09):
of the friction. But they're sliding back and forth, and
that's when you feel the little rumbles, the tremors. But
every now and then, as they slide back and forth,
one slips down and one slips up above it, and
that's when you get an earthquake. I think right now
we have two plates, good and evil, God and the

(27:31):
Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness. The two
plates are sliding up against one another, and we're feeling
the electromagnetic frequency it's creating. We're feeling something different. I've
had a number of people reach out to me say
do you feel anything different? Yeah, there's something going on.
And when those the earthquake comes, it's devastating. And both plates,

(27:58):
both the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness,
are working equally to cause this. We have to be
prepared because I believe what we're seeing is the beginning
of a shaking like we have not seen before, a
shaking that says, wake up, the King is coming. So

(28:20):
in these events, while mass conversions of non believers and
the beneficial effects of a heightened moral climate are involved.
Revivals are seen as a restoration of the Church itself
to a vital, fervent relationship with God after a period

(28:43):
of decline, and each of the quote great Awakenings was
characterized by widespread revivals led by evangelical Protestant ministers. A
sharp increase of an interest in religion, found sense of
conviction and redemption on the part of those affected, and

(29:06):
out of that a lot of new religious movements and
denominations came, and they became abominations. And it's it's just
over and over and over the same thing. But I
think this will be different. I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Only spirit won't let me finish that statement. So what
happens is the Spirit begins the process. It begins it,
and then man takes it over, it labels it, it
brands it, and it dies off and becomes dead. Man
loses their humility and they begin to believe that they
had something to do with it, or their speaker had

(29:46):
something to do with it. No, it had nothing to
do with that. It was all the Lord and it
was only the Holy Spirit. We need to return to
that humility Psal I'm sixty nine, starting verse twenty nine.
But I am poor and sorrowful. Let your salvation, O God,
set me up on high. I will praise the name

(30:09):
of God with a song, and I will magnify him
with thanksgiving. This shall also please the Lord better than
an ox or bull, which has horns and hoofs. The
humble shall see this and be glad. And you who
seek God your hearts shall live. You know, I woke
up this morning, and I sit down. The first thing

(30:30):
I do is I start my journal for the day,
and I start out with a proclamation or a scripture
or something from the heart.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
And today I wrote, O Lord, how majestic is your
name in all the earth.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Psalm eighties, verse seventeen through nineteen. They perish at the
rebuke of your countenance. Let your hand be upon the
man of your right hand, upon the son of man,
whom you made strong for yourself. Then we will not
turn back from you. Revive us, and we will call
upon your name. Restore us, O Lord God of Host,

(31:10):
cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.
And we shall be saved from a crooked and perverse generation.
With seeing this gen Z. These kids are getting it.

(31:30):
They're done with religion, They're done with compromise. They want more.
The New Anger's Bible Dictionaries says the word revive hayah
to live. In the Psalms, the word is used to
signify being made alive, to be comforted, refreshed. The King

(31:54):
James's quick, and I shared that last week. It means
the quicken, quick, Lord, quicken our mortal body, revive it,
revive our spirit. Help us to flourish and blossom again,
to live again, to regain that life, that feeling we
once had. Psalm eighty, verse seven. Restore us, oh God

(32:18):
of Host, cause your face to shine, and we shall
be saved. Someone nineteen verse thirty seven. Turn away my
eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in
your way. I don't want to see what. I don't
want to deal with this. I don't want to be
distracted by these worthless things anymore. I only want you, Lord,

(32:44):
I want your will, you away, I want your kingdom come.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Your will be.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Done on earth as it is in heaven. Someone forty three,
verse eleven. Revive me, oh Lord, for your name's sake,
for your right siousness sake, bring my soul out of trouble.
You know, we get in trouble. We set our eyes
on worthless things. We desire things that have nothing to
do with him or what he wants for us or

(33:11):
from us, and we find ourselves on a path of destruction.
And the enemy's glad to meet us there that cry
for revival. It means we know better the prodigal son,
I've had enough. Let me go back to my father's
house with the servants. Eat better than I am right now,

(33:35):
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Begin
to realize that we are the problem. We can blame
it on the enemy. We can blame it on the devil.
He's just taking advantage of our choices. And only the
Lord only issue, only Jesus, He's the only answer to
that problem. He's the only one who can set us

(33:57):
free and revive the fire we once had. And it
all began in the upper Room, Acts one, starting verse four,
and being assembled together with them, he commanded them not
to depart from Jerusalem, to wait for the promise of
the Father, which he said, you have heard from me.

(34:19):
For John truly baptized with water. But you shall be
baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
So then what do they do? They ask him, Lord,
at this time, will you restore the kingdom to Israel?
Wrong question, guys, And he said, it's not for you
to know times or seasons which the Father has put

(34:41):
in his own authority. But you shall receive power, dunamous, dynamic,
self replicating, explosive power, when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me in
Jerusalem and in all all Judea and Samaria and to

(35:02):
the end of the earth. You're gonna take your testimony
of me. You're gonna take what you know and have
experienced about me and with me, and you're going to
tell others. But first you're gonna wait in this upper room.
It's gonna be a little crowded. You can really be

(35:23):
hiding from those people that want to kill you because
of all that's happened. And you're not gonna be alone.
There's gonna be a bit crowd of about one hundred
and twenty of you in the upper room. Became an
incubator in which the seed of the Church was awakened.
And we know what happened. The fire fell, the spirit

(35:46):
came upon them, tongues of fire. They began to speak
in other tongues, heavenly language, whatever you want to call it.
Gloss Alalia fell out into the streets. People think they're nuts.
They're drunk. At nine o'clock in the morning. No, and Peter,
the Saint Peter that had run away, the Saint Peter

(36:06):
that had denied him, steps out in front of the
crowd tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, some estimate two million,
because of everybody in Jerusalem that we can and he
gives his declaration, and he tells him what's going on
about the prophet Joel. This had been prophesied. But this

(36:29):
is the part I want to bring out, starting with
verse thirty nine of Acts two. This is where he
brings it home. This is where he makes the point
of what this is all about. Men and brethren, let
me speak freely to you of the Patriarch David, that
he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is

(36:49):
with us to this day. Therefore, being a prophet, and
knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him
that of the fruit of his body according to the flesh,
he would raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne.
He foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah,

(37:10):
that his soul was not left in hades, nor did
his flesh see corruption. This is Suah, this Jesus, God
has raised up, of which we all are witnesses. Therefore,
being exalted to the right hand of God. Having received
from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he

(37:32):
poured out this which you now see and hear. For
David did not ascend into heaven, but he says himself,
the Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right
hand till I make your enemies your footstool. Therefore, let
all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has

(37:52):
made this Jesus. This is sure who you crucified both Lord,
both Arnai and Messiah.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
That God has made.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
This Yashuah, whom you crucified both I don'tnay, and Messiah,
I don nai and hamashiak.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
He is the one. Now.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
When they heard this, they were cut to the heart
and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,
men and brethren, what shall we do? And Peter said
to them, repent and let every one of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus the Messiah Yeshuah Hamashiah,
for the remission of sins. This is why you're being baptized,

(38:34):
for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit. For this promise is to
you and your children, and to all who are afar off,
as many as the Lord our God will call. And
with many other words, he testified and exhorted them, saying,
be saved from this perverse generation. Those who gladly received

(38:57):
his word were baptized, And that day about three thousand
souls were added to them, And they continued steadfastly in
the apostles, doctrine and fellowship, and the breaking of bread,
and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and
many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now

(39:17):
all who believed were together had all things in common,
sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all
as anyone had need. Continuing daily with one according the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, they their food
with gladness and simplicity of art, praising God and having

(39:39):
favor with all the people, and the Lord added to
the church daily, those who were being saved. That's the
first great awakening. Peter's words convicted them and pierced their heart,
and their response was what should we do? Pentecost thirty

(40:04):
three a d. The first phase of the awakening. It
shifted again on Pentecost nineteen forty eight when Israel became
a nation, and we're in that phase we have been
since the fig tree has blossomed. You don't think that

(40:30):
the sudden hatred of Israel and all the things that
these podcasters and influencers are saying and doing is a coincidence,
do you. You don't want to like their politics, you
don't want to like their leaders, that's one thing. But
the anti Semitism and replacement theology, that's a whole another thing.

(40:57):
Itseiah six, starting verse one, Come and let us return
to the Lord. For he has torn, but he will
heal us. He has stricken, but he will bind us up.
After two days he will revive us. And on the
third day he will raise us up that we may
live in his sight. So we saw in the upper

(41:21):
room the elements of the original awakening for the church. Remember,
you can't revive something that hasn't been created that yet,
this is something that was just born, just awakened into reality.
They were waiting on the Lord. They came together an

(41:41):
unity of purpose, mind, and spirit. That a manifestation and
dispensation of the Holy Spirit with external evidence. That a
boldness to preach the gospel. They had a conviction of
sin that was repentance and conversion. Because of all of that,

(42:05):
that's the foundational elements of a divinely inspired awakening. And
that's what I described to you going on in these
college campuses. So when you have an awakening, it is
the implication of something slumbering, sleeping has become passive. And

(42:34):
that's the Church. And I believe, again just my belief.
I'm not stating this is something you have to believe.
I believe what he's awakening is the remnant. I believe
the church at large, the traditional dead Church, is debt.

(42:58):
Out of that will come some who realize that and
be looking for life. But he's awakening the remnant, those
that will shake the world one last time before the
return of the King. Now many will use the term
Christian revival. It is a specific period of increased spiritual

(43:22):
interest or the claim of renewal in the life of
a church congregation.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Blah blah blah. We're going to have one in July. No,
you're not.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
You're going to have an event that you've labeled that.
But that's more than likely. That's not what that is.
Most of you don't want this kind of explosive, spontaneous events. Well,
the Holy Spirit takes over in schedules, don't matter. That's

(43:54):
what I believe. The Holy Spirit trying to trigger mass conversions,
non believers, those that have not been saved, those that
may be made a mouth confession but were never born again,
inspiring a change and the culture around them, and real
real of revivals, real events the Zuza Street, the Wales Revival,

(44:19):
the Charles Finney revivals changed entire geographic areas. I've yet
to see that. When I see that, I'll know that
we're in that final phase. But those that are truly
inspired to do this are calling the church us now

(44:40):
buildings us, the church to a vital and fervent relationship
with our Abba Father, our Creator. This awakening is for
both the church and the world, because a true awakening
will end in fluence the world as well. So what

(45:03):
do we do. What do we have to do? Well,
you don't have to go somewhere. You don't have to
You didn't have to go to Kentucky, though many did.
You don't have to come to Orlando and go to
UCF or Lakeland to Southeastern. You can have a revival
right there in your home and your family, in your

(45:25):
maybe you have a home fellowship or a Bible study.
Let the Holy Spirit do what he wants. Turn him loose,
literally say, Holy Spirit, have your way. We're going to
wait on you. But the importance of humility and reliance
on the Holy Spirit is mandatory. Because human pride will

(45:48):
quench any revival, will shut down any true move of God.
Man thinks they had something to do with it, or
it's necessary that they control it. You can expect that
it will go out from your hearts. Seek God's presence, Pray, pray.

(46:12):
Prayer is a part of it. First of all, you
better pray for his protection because the world doesn't like
and the enemy doesn't like it, and he's definitely going
to try to stop it. If you don't understand that
part of spiritual warfare. It's about your everyday existence, it's
about your walk, it's about your family, every time you

(46:33):
step out of your the sanctity of your home, your
fair game. Understand that and pursue the kingdom. Seek first
the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all those things will
be added unto you.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
This is where we get distracted.

Speaker 1 (46:55):
When we think we're pursuing the kingdom, but we're pursuing
what we want. That's the difference between Isaac the perfect
will of God and Ishmael the permissive will. Too many
Ishmaels in our life, too many Ishmael's in the church.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
What's your will? God? What's your will? Father?

Speaker 1 (47:19):
What do you desire this day? Seek His presence. Then
the other thing that we see is all a part
of this is the admonition to go into all the world. Basically,
we're called to go into all the world and wake

(47:42):
them up to the reality of and the coming of
the Lord. Because that's what I think. This is about
the signs and the wonders, the signs and the heavens
and the stars and the planets and the sounds that
nobody can explain, and the outbreak of this over here

(48:02):
and the exposure.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Of that over there.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
Everything that we're seeing indicates to me a collision of
those two plates in an earthquake that will shake the
world and shake the church, go into all the world,
wake them up. But to do that he has to
first wake us up. And that's what I believe. These

(48:27):
last two weeks have been about, a reminder, wake up.
You don't have time to sleep, you don't have time
to rest. I talked about this a couple of years ago.
I know you've heard me talk about my friend Carmen
Christian Singer, passed away a couple of years ago. I

(48:48):
met Carmen in nineteen ninety. We fell apart for a
while for a lot of reasons, none of which I
want to go on the air about. But and then
we reconnected about two thousand and ten. I want to say,
but he did his song should have looked up when

(49:09):
he did. It doesn't matter. You can look it up
called Revive Us, o Lord, And he wrote it at
a period of time where he was sick and tired
of being sick and tired. He was seeking holiness, he
was seeking freedom, he was seeking righteousness. And these are
the words we've turned from your ways, Lord, your fruit

(49:34):
we've ceased to bear. We lacked the power we once
knew in our prayers. That gentle voice from heaven we
cease to hear and know the fact that he has
risen no longer stirs our soul. Revive us, O Lord,

(49:55):
Revive us, O Lord, and cleanse us from our impurities
and make us holy. Hear our cry and revive us,
O Lord. Though we've been unfaithful, we have never been disowned.
The spirit that raised Christ from the dead compels us

(50:19):
to his throne. Revive us, O Lord, Revive us, O Lord,
and cleanse us from our impurities, and make us holy.
Hear our cry and revive us, Oh Lord. That was
both a hearts cry for himself and for the Church.

(50:45):
And as I was working on this today, I began
to hear that song in my head again. And it
doesn't matter whether he lived up to it or not.
It's still powerful. The statement is still there. Was from
the heart, inspired by the Holy Spirit. You can find
it online. You can find it on YouTube if you're

(51:07):
curious about it. If you can find the original time
he sang it live, check it out. You'll hear it's
coming from his heart. Another song, Hunger for Holiness, came
out during that period of time. Our heart knows that
where the problem. Our heart knows that the only answer
is the Holy Spirit to bring us back to that

(51:27):
feeling we once had, the spirit that raised you, show
her from the dead, the spirit, the Holy Spirit of
God that raised him from the dead. It compels us
to our knees and then to his throne. I hunger

(51:48):
for this, I hunger for holiness. I hunger for the
kind of influence and power, not for myself, but to
set others free, to set the captives free. That's the
heart's cry. But we have to get the fire burning.

(52:09):
You have to stir it up. You know, we talked
about it last week. Did you do it? Did you
take it to heart? Did you look for that ember
that was still burning and stir it up and get
it some oxygen through prayer and praise and worship and testimony. Well,
you're just happy with that little flicker. There is a

(52:32):
thing today about flashlights. You know, when you have a
flashlight and the light begins to dim and goes out.
You don't throw the flashlight out, do you. You replace the batteries.
You replace the power from within so that it can
burn bright again. Replace the power from within and burn

(52:58):
bright again. And let's do this letters, Shine, shine, shine,
and shake the world one last time before the return
of the King, Father Abbah, Papa Daddy. Oh my gosh,
we are so desperate for you. We are so desperate

(53:19):
to be as close to you as possible, And the
only reason we can do that is because the unblemished
blood of the Lamb that was slain before the foundation
of the world.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Here I cry, Lord.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
Wash us clean, burn it off of us, Burn that
dross out of us, Polish us up. We pray for
these students across America and people across the world that
are being saved, heal and delivered, being revived and awakened
to you. We pray first of all, that you'd guide
them into the right fellowships and leadership and Bible studies

(53:58):
to sustain what they've expected sperienced, stop the enemy from
hindering them or stealing it from them. We pray, Lord,
it would set a fire, would set the dry wood
on fire, set the leaves on fire. We pray for

(54:18):
those places around the world where revival and salvations are
breaking out, that you would do the same, that it
would continue. We pray that you would continue to appear
in dreams and visions of those in the Middle Eastern
Muslim nations and appear to them, revealing who you are
to them. We thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit

(54:43):
that is helping us do this. But Lord, right now
we ask that you from heaven turn it up inside
of us. Show us the things that we have allowed
to put the fire out. Would we've thrown on the fire.

(55:07):
Make us holy, set us free, change us, renew us.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
We want to go back to what we were.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
We want to be what you need us to be
right now, man, woman, young old, doesn't matter living out
the prophecies of Joel chapter two and living out what
the early Church did, because we want to see you
face to face. Help us right now. I pray all

(55:43):
these things. I pray all these things for me and
for everyone listening in the name above all names, Yeshihamasiak
Jesus the Messiah.

Speaker 2 (55:55):
Amen.

Speaker 1 (55:58):
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the
Lord make his face to shine upon you and be
gracious to you. May the Lord, I don't know you're
sure a Hamasiah, Jesus the Messiah, lift up his countenance
upon you and give you peace. Give you shall home.
