pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper. Who
love you someone twenty two, verse six. I pray for Israel.
I pray for our Jewish brothers and sisters. I pray
for the leadership there as well as the leadership here.

I pray that God would bless them and guide them
in every thought, action, and intention. And in regards to America,
I pray that He would shed his grace upon us.
I pray for the people around the world that are
being persecuted and slaughtered and just treated horribly, like in

Iran and other places with a leadership it considers their
people expendable. Pray for the fatherless, the widows, the persecuted
and the martyrred, the poor in spirit, the bound and
the oppressed, the innocence, and those who are victims of injustice.

God hates injustice. Pray against the slaughter of the innocence,
both in and out of the womb. For missing and
exploited children, those who have become victims of human sex trafficking,
even the adult women that are being snatched off the
street by the powers of darkness. Pray for our brothers

and sisters believers around the world that are being persecuted
and slaughtered for their faith, their homes destroyed, the places
of worship destroyed. I pray against the growing religious persecution
and the anti Semitism, which is the work of the
spirit of the Antichrist. I pray for divine wholeness, health

and healing, and each and every one of us that
by the blood, by the stripes of the Lord, we
are healed, not just from the curse of sin and death,
but from all that the enemy would do in regards
to bondage, sickness, and disease. I pray for His protection
over each and every one of us, over all that

we have, and for the inspiration the fire of the
Holy Spirit to fill us, for the Remnant to awaken
and answer the call to action, that the doors would
open for all the projects and plans that he has ordained,
and the kingdom finances for Kingdom business would come in
twenty twenty six. So, Father, that's only a little bit

of what we'd like to ask for, But you know
our needs even before we speak them. We asked that
you would touch us, Lord, touch us, touch us and heart, mind, body,
soul and spirit. Aba.

Last time on the porch, we talked about that the
church gets faith from the fire the Holy Spirit. The
fire of the Holy Spirit is the driving force that
enables believers to overcome fear and boldly proclaim the Gospel,
even in the face of opposition, whether that opposition is
(08:33):
natural or supernatural. It gives us the faith to live
a redeemed life, and that comes from the presence of
the Holy Spirit fire within us. Look at Luke chapter nine,
starting verse one. Then he he being issued, called his
twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over
(08:57):
all demons and to cure diseases, not just some demons,
all demons, and he sent them to preach the Kingdom
of God and to heal the sick. Whatever house you enter,
he said, stay there, and from their depart and whoever
will not receive you when you go out of that city,
(09:17):
shake off the very dust from your feet as a
testimony against them. So they went out, they departed. They
went through the towns, preaching the Gospel and healing everywhere, everywhere,
not just somewhere, everywhere. Jesus Yeshiah. He called them together,
(09:38):
the Twelve Disciples, and he gave them imparted to them
the right to exercise power and authority over all demons,
over all the demonic realm, and to heal diseases. So healing,
deliverance from demonic bondage, and the Kingdom of God go
(10:02):
hand in hand. You can't have them without the other.
How people can preach the Kingdom of God without healing
and deliverance from demonic bondage, I don't know. Said he
gave them power and authority Dunamus and Exusia to cast
out all the demons, healo diseases. That's the power or
(10:25):
the right to command and control that kingdom, that realm.
Those demons. The delegated power refers to the authority that God. Remember,
holy Spirit comes from him, emanates from him, gives to
his saints, each and every one of us, authorizing us
(10:47):
to act to the extent that we are guided by
faith in his revealed word. It's not by what we think,
it's by what he thinks. We take our watching orders
from him. So to help prepare the Twelve Disciples to
carry on his work following his ascension into heaven, you
(11:09):
sure sends them out first in pairs two by two
on short missions of ministry, and they start to practice
what he has been preaching and teaching to them. The
disciples take this authority and use the power he's transferred
(11:31):
to them, and it's been transferred to all of us.
Look at Matthew ten to one, and when he called
his twelve disciples too, and he gave them power over
unclean spirits to cast them out, heal all kinds of
sicknesses and all kinds of diseases. Similarly, in Mark chapter six,
(11:51):
starting verse seven, he called the twelve and began to
send them out as his special messenger two and gave
them authority in power over the unclean spirits. He told
them to take nothing for the journey except a mere
walking stick, no bread, no traveler's bag, no money in
(12:12):
their belts, but to wear sandals. And he told them
not to wear two tunics. Now why did he say that?

They're not there to impress anybody. They're not there to
put on a show. They're there to very simply preach
the gospel. And he told them, wherever you go into
a house, stay there until you leave that town, any
place that does not welcome you, and listen to you.
When you leave their shake the dust off the soles

of your feet as a testimony against them, breaking all
ties with them, because they rejected my message. And so
they went out preached that men should repent, and they
were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil
many who were sick and healing them. They were telling

them repent, change the way you think, change the way
you act, live a different life, and believe in Joshua
as Messiah, Jesus as Savior.

Foreshadowing of the ministry activity that the church would embark
upon after his departure and would continue until the time
of his return. So that Greek word exusia power, delegated authority.
It's the right to use power someone else's power as

tread on. To tread on means to have absolute mastery

our enemies. As born again believers, we are to have
the power over all the power of the enemy, all
the power of the devil, all the power of the

Does that mean we're never going to suffer any pain? No,
absolutely no, because we know from other sections like Matthew
ten Verses sixteen through twenty two. He tells them the
hard road they have before them, a road of persecution
and hatred and attacks because of their association with them,
and the actual history of the apostles and the others
(15:18):
that followed them. Through that, we know that this exemption
from being hurt does not imply freedom from all physical
or material injury, for many of them died for the
Lord and still do.

The serpents and the scorpions and all the power of
the enemy. It refers to demonic powers primarily, and guess what,
there's immunity from harm from wild beasts and the poisons
that may come from them. We see that in next
twenty eight to three, Paul's on a missionary journey. He
gets shipwrecked. He's there on the land with the people
(16:00):
on the ship, and he gathers a bunch of sticks
and lays them on the fire, and a viper, a
very poisonous sandsnake, comes out of it because of the
heat and fastens onto his hand and bites him. And
what happens nothing. Paul shakes it off into the fire,
(16:20):
Go into all the world, preach the Gospel to all creation.
He who has believed in me. Look, this is Mark
sixteen fifteen. I know that there are some commentaries that
reject its inclusion. They say that the Mark sixteen ends
on like verse eight, which makes absolutely no sense. It's
(16:41):
like ending in mid sentence or mid paragraph. She has said,
go into all the world, preach the gospel of all creation.
He who has believed in me and has been baptized
will be saved from the penalty of God's wrath and judgment.
He has not believed will be condemned. Pretty straightforward, these
(17:02):
signs will accompany those who have believed in my name.
They will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues.
They would take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly,
it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on
the sick, and they will get well. He who believes,
anyone who believes, will do that. So the word authority
(17:28):
is rarely used in the Old Testament. In the New Testament,
to translate from the Greek exusia as I said, a
word for which there is no exact correspondence in Hebrew
or Aramaic, Exusie expresses both freedom and legal rights, and
it's used in the Bible in numerous ways. One hundred
(17:50):
and three times sixty nine times is power, twenty nine
times as authority two times is right. Then you have liberty, jurisdiction,
and strength. One time must have been important to have
that many references in the New Testament. And that happened
because when Yashu had died of the cross, rose from
(18:13):
the grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father,
spiritual authority shifted throughout the entire universe. And if Susia
comes from existe, which is the sense of ability, it's
the privilege, It's what having his power as a privilege,
its force, its capacity, it's mastery, it's superhuman potential, and
(18:40):
that influence it that He's given us over the natural
and the supernatural. So these passages, this authority being delegated
to us, speaking of demons, speaking of Satan, the kingdom
of darkness, serpents, scorpions, all the the enemy and all
(19:01):
the spirits in that kingdom. That's why doing what I've
done since I got saved, doing deliverances and then with
SRTs since two thousand and seven, I know whose authority
I work under. I know what's been delegated to me,
and when I'm being sent to do it, I'm being
(19:23):
sent with his dispensation, with his orders. Therefore, the enemy
doesn't stand a chance. Luke tenth nineteen. Listen carefully. She
was saying, I have given you authority that you now
possess to tread on serpents and scorpions, and the ability
(19:45):
to exercise authority over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing will in any way harm you. Where does
this authority come from. It comes from the Lord. Where
does this power come from? It comes from the Lord,
comes from the throne room, to tread on, to trample,
(20:08):
to have complete control over the enemy. That's what we've
been delegated. That's what He's given to his church, the
right to use his power to destroy the works of
the enemy. The reason I'm belaboring this point is because
(20:29):
so many believers in all the years I've been doing
this cannot understand this. And if you've been with me
on the porch since the beginning, I've taught this many times,
and I still find that people cannot grasp it that
(20:50):
we have the power the dounamus, we have the ability,
we have the might, we have the right, miracle, wonder
working power, the strength of the Holy Spirit, the force
of God from the Throne room to perform miracles for
the glory of God. Exusia is the authority to manifest power.
(21:17):
Why are there's so many powerless believers? Why because as
they think, they become I'm weak. I can't do this. Well,
now you can't. Doesn't negate the word, it negates your
ability to use it. And so Exusia and Dunamus. I
(21:41):
said that they're interchangeable, and they can be used together,
which means I use just me. I have the jurisdiction
of the legal right to act in or with the
miraculous power of the King of Kings and the Lord
of Lords and my heavenly the God of all creation.

Pretty basic, pretty simple, pretty to the point. And I
believe it.

There is some that believe that those promises were for
the first eighty two disciples only. Some even believe they
were just for the apostles. Does that make sense, Not
if his church is going to continue until he comes back,
Not if his church is going to be in the
world under the control of the wicked one. Also, scripture
(22:33):
doesn't line up with that thinking. She was said in
John fourteen twelve. Most assuredly, I say to you, he
who believes in me, the works that I do, he
will do also, and greater works than these he will do.
Because I go to my Father, and I could add
(22:56):
sending back the Holy Spirit. This is the promise of
the Lord to you, and I I need you to
hear me. I assure you, and most solemnly say to you,
anyone who believes in me as Savior will also do
(23:17):
the things that I do, and he or she will
do even greater things than these, in extent and outreach,
because I am going back to the Father. And we
know that the minute he sat down next to the Father,
the Holy Spirit was sent to the church. So the
(23:38):
church and its ministry possess just genuine religious authority, but
only as they serve the mission of the Lord and
in faithfulness to the Word, to the Bible, and for
the building up and edification and furthering of the church.
(24:02):
It's not for personal use. It's not something that we're
supposed to get all full of ourselves. The disciples did
if you pick up again in lieuten on verse seventeen,
when the seventy returned, they returned with joy, saying, Lord,
even the demons are subject to us in your name.
(24:23):
And I kind of get it. This is new to them.
They've never felt this before. And what does he do?
He corrects, them verse eighteen, and he said to them,
I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. What's the
inference there? He fell because of pride. Behold, I give
the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over
(24:44):
all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by
any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this
that the spirits a subject to you, or rather rejoice
because your names are written in heaven. Power over demons
should not be a source of joy or pride. But
(25:05):
the relationship and the adoption and the restoration we've been
given as evidence by our names being written in the
Lamb's book of life in heaven, that's what we should
joy in. And it is a natural tendency for people
to glory and the exercise of power, whether inherit or conferred.
(25:30):
But as I said, that arises from pride. And we
know who the author of pride is and has often
shipwrecked gifted people, crashed their ministry, destroyed it after the
enemy took advantage of it. Against such feelings and weakness,
(25:53):
Messiah solemnly warns us through his word to his disciples,
I've seen people get full of themselves I don't know
why I didn't. I mean, I got excited over it
because I'd work the other side for so long and
been a part of that world and seen and done
things in the kingdom of darkness. But it never became
(26:17):
something for me to puff myself up about because I
understood the price that came with it. In Mark sixteen twenty,
it says that they, they, the disciples, went out preached everywhere,
the Lord working with them. I see other key to this,
confirming the Word through the accompanying science. We don't do
(26:38):
this by ourselves. We're doing it with the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is working with us. We're doing it for
the glory of God and the Kingdom of God. But
if you went on YouTube or Instagram or Facebook right now,
you could probably find thousands, maybe tens of thousands of
ministries and ministers and people glorifying themselves. This was a
(27:01):
part of the day of Pentecost. This is what this
was about. To live in the fire and walk in
the fire with all that goes with it. God, he
says in Acts one, he says to them, you've heard
from me from John truly baptized with water. But you
shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Not many days
(27:23):
from now you shall receive power. When the Holy Spirit
has come upon you, you shall be witnesses to me in
Jerusalem and all Judee in Samaria and to the ends
of the earth. What's the progression power witnessing evangelism. Pretty basic,
power witnessing evangelism. And the church was supposed to be
(27:48):
a church of power, and for the most part, for
the first from the time of the Resurrection of the
Lord to the Council of Nice in three twenty five AD,
it was the man got involved and religion got involved
and all that went with it, and the power disappeared.

There's a story about Thomas Aquinas. He was an Italian
Dominican friar and priest. He was also a theologian and philosopher.
He visits Rome and is shown the gorgeousness of the
papal palace by the Pope, and the Pope says them, well, Thomas,
the church in our day cannot say silver and gold

have I none? No, replied Thomas Aquinas, neither can she say.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, writer is
up and walk, and that's how things die. The church
increases in riches and worldly wisdom and decreases in spiritual

power and godliness is brilliant. He cannot defeed us in
a direct power to power confrontation, So what does he do.
He dilutes the power. He gets us to turn it off,
and then he convinces us to keep it off, to

keep the riches and the fame, and the houses and
the cars, and the gold and the silver and the
clothing and all that goes with it, because the minute
you become a real threat to the enemy, all that
disappears in the attacks. Since I got saved, false religions
seem to be showing more and more power and giving
(29:42):
people the answers and the blessings that they're looking for,
whether physically, materially, spiritually, that the average everyday modern church
group isn't getting for them. So they turn to those
false religions and those false beliefs and those false teachings
(30:05):
looking for benefits that are tangible. People are hungry for
the supernatural to heal when they need it. They want
answers to prayers, they want material help, they want freedom
from sin and failure, and if they cannot find it
in one source I'll find it and accept it from another.
(30:27):
And if they can't get the real that the Gospel offers,
they will accept the substitute that Satan sells them. Satan
knows very well that he can deceive men by his
counterfeit power. I wasn't born again, but I was deceived.
I was looking for power. I was offered it from
(30:49):
the witchcraft, from the crystals, from the New Age, from.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
All the things that I did back then. It was real.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
I used it, but it was counterfeit. There was nothing
like the power I willed now. And you see his name,
and Satan is winning millions to his teachings, to his thinking,
to his impartation. The Church should be doing that. The
Church should be setting the captives free, opening their eyes.

We need to get back to basics and be like
the Book of Acts. Church was preaching the gospel, healing
the sick and doing everything that the Lord showed them
to do and believing because we're praying and because the
Word is in us one John five, verses fourteen and fifteen.

Now this is the confidence that we have in him
that if we ask anything according to his will, he
hears us. And if we know that he hears us
whatever we ask. We know that we have the petitions
that we have asked of him. Of course, this is
asking anything according to his will. Conversely, he means he
(32:07):
doesn't hear us when we're praying against his will or
without his will, and we need to do it in faith.
We need to get to the point that we know
God can, and we believe that he will Hebrews eleven six.
Without faith, it is impossible to please him. For he
who comes to God must believe that He is, that
(32:30):
he is what, that he is God, and that he
is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Oh, Richard,
I get it, but I don't know how to pray.
I don't know what to do. I have this petition,
I have this burden, I have all this stuff welling
up inside of me, and I just don't know what
(32:50):
to say. Again, that's what the Holy Spirit is for
Romans eighth, starting verse twenty six. And this is amplified
in the same way. The Spirit comes to us and
helps us in our weakness. We do not know what
prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should,
(33:12):
but the Spirit himself knows our need and at the
right time intercedes on our behalf with the size and
groanings too deep for words. And he who searches the
hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because
the Spirit intercedes before God on behalf of his people
(33:34):
in accordance with God's will. And we know with great
confidence that God, who is deeply concerned about us, causes
all things to work together as a plan for good
for those who love God, to those who are called
according to his plan and purpose. Believe his Bible Commentari
(34:00):
says God is working all things together for good to
those who love Him and to those who are called
according to His purpose. All things may not always seem so.
Sometimes when we are suffering heartbreak, tragedy, disappointment, frustration, and bereavement,
(34:21):
we wonder what good can come out of it, But
the following verse gives the answer. Whatever God permits to
come into our lives is designed to conform us to
the image of His son. When we see this, it
takes the question mark out of our prayers. Our lives
(34:43):
are not controlled by impersonal forces such as chance, luck,
or fate, but by our wonderful personal Lord, who is
too loving to be unkind and too wise to err,
even in hardship and suffering, even in bitter disappointments, even
(35:06):
when wrongly treated, Believers can know that God will work
in the middle of those situations to fulfill his good
purpose in his children. Now this doesn't mean that the
Holy Spirit praise instead of us. It's our size and
groanings that he takes part with us and makes our
(35:30):
weak prayers effective. Now, there are some that interpret the
groanings as uttered by the Holy Spirit, and I think
it's the two. I think it's both me and the
Holy Spirit. When I get into that groaning, when I
have words that make no sense, and I've prayed like that,
(35:51):
interceded like that, that's when the Holy Spirit takes over.
That's when the sound takes of the Spirit comes. That's
when the texture and the intensity and the prayer changes.
We ourselves groan, and such groanings imply a degree of
distress or anguish, and it may be appropriate for us,
(36:17):
but not for our creator. And that's why the Holy
Spirit helps us. That's why he takes those prayers and
turns them into supernaturally empowered words and emotions. The situation
may stay difficult, but through faith and the presence of
the Holy Spirit. We know good results will come. We
(36:41):
know that whatever we're going through will benefit us to
mature us. Why because we're the ones that are called
as children of God, don't We don't always know what
to pray or how best to pray. But we know
that the purpose of God is that the whole Holy
Spirit help us in those prayers. And the more you pray,
(37:04):
the better you get at it. But I don't care
how good you are. There are moments that you go through,
certain things that through sobbing and weeping, and the Spirit
has to help you. And whatever you're going through, it'll
be for the good. Whatever suffering, whatever the enemy is doing,
whatever the world is doing, will be for our betterment.

Because it's not always going to be easy, it's not
always going to be fun, it's not always going to
be painless. But if we love God and we are
called by God, our responses to love and to keep
going and let the Holy Spirit work in us. On
top of that, if we have a calling and been
(37:48):
called according to His purpose, everything He allows to happen
in our life will accomplish his plan for us and
for the Kingdom of God. He will accomplish his plan.
Look at Isaiah fifty five, starting verse eight. For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways,
(38:11):
says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than
the earth, so am I ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain
comes down and the snow from heaven, but do not
return there the water the earth, and make it bring
(38:31):
forth and bud that it may give seed to the
sower and bread to the eater. So shall my word
be that goes forth from my mouth. It shall not
return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing for which I
(38:51):
scent it. Verse eleven. Let me repeat this again. Somebody
out there, you have to hear this, whatever you're going
through right now now. So shall my word be that
goes forth from my mouth. It shall not return to
me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, says
(39:13):
the Lord. And it shall prosper in the thing for
which I scent it. It won't be void, it won't
be empty, it won't be without fruit. But the problem is,
everybody wants fruit without tilling the ground and planting the
seed and working the harvest. They want magic fruit. There's fruit. No,

there's a process to fruit, and we must accept that process.
Those noises was fruit just appearing on the vine. If
you didn't get it. This is the promise of the Lord.
When his word goes forth out of his mouth, it
doesn't return to him without producing any effect, being useless.

It does exactly what he pleases and purposes, and will
prosper for the very thing for which it was sent.
King James Study Bible notes. God's sovereignty and omniscience are
extolled by the statement that his thoughts, purposes or intentions,

and his ways or directions are higher than ours. And
how easy is it to forget that? Sometimes familiarity can
breed contempt in the sense that you take it for granted.
You don't understand how higher his thoughts and thinking and
(40:42):
emotions and plans are than ours. That our human minds
are terrestrial fleshly minds can grasp. Oh, God can be
known by us, but he's still incomprehensible in the totality
of his person and purposes and plans. That's why he

reveals himself to us in his word, a word that
if he said it shall happen. He prophesied the Messiah,
and it happened. He prophesied the return of Israel to
their land, it happened. Doesn't matter what we think, doesn't
(41:25):
matter what man thinks, doesn't matter what society thinks. If
he said it, he will do it, and the Word
of God accomplishes his purpose in announcing salvation all mankind.
We are always engaged in a war between our flesh
and our spirit, the worldly nature against our spiritual nature,
(41:51):
and we are called to embrace the spiritual, godly nature
that He's placed in us through the Holy Spirit. That's
that war between the world, the flesh, and the devil
with us the Kingdom of God. So no matter what
you're going through right now, it's to your advantage and
will better you if you let it. It's all a
(42:14):
matter of perspective. I believe if you are his nothing
happens in our life, but what he allows. Sometimes he
allows us to make bad decisions as a learning experience
so that we won't make them again. If he stopped
us from ever making a mistake, we would never learn
(42:36):
from it. Look what happens with Peter and Luke twelve,
studying verse thirty one after Peter, you know, denies. Oh Lord,
you're not going to do this, and I'll be with
you to the end, and blah blah blah, it says Simon. Simon, Indeed,
Satan has asked for you that he may sift you
as wheat. But I have prayed for you that your

faith should not fail, and when you have returned to me,
strengthen your brethren. Oh Lord, I'm ready to go with
you both to prison and to death. He said, I
tell you, Peter the rooster, shawna crow this day before
you will deny me three times that you would deny
that you know me. And right there Peter entered the

school of the Spirit, and the Lord wanted to make
sure that Peter got the lesson right, and Satan was
going to be the teacher. He didn't say, Okay, I'm
gonna stop Satan from doing this. No, I've prayed for
you that your faith should not fail when you endure this,
when you go through this and come back, strengthen your
(43:41):
brethren through your example, to sift, to prove by trials,
to Winnow, you know, like the wheat and lifting it up,
because we know that there's some good wheat in there,
but you got to go through something to get it.
I prayed for you, Peter. The Lord says that your
faith may not fail the enemy from fulfilling the request,
(44:03):
said that he prayed for him, and that Peter was
to use his lesson for the others. See, he wasn't
just about Peter. It was about the disciples too. Sometimes
when we go through things that isn't just about us,
it's about others too, and it's about the lesson we
get from it. Satan probably wanted to test all of
(44:25):
them to show that they were weak, to show the
Lord that they weren't worth the effort he was putting in.
I mean, Judas had already been tempted. Satan won him,
so why not go after the rest. Satan is arrogant,
is without mercy. He petitions the throne room day and night.
He's the accuser of the brethren. He's taking shot at believers,
(44:48):
shot after shot, to destroy them, to demean them, to
get God to give up on them. We can't allow
that to happen. Why the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Living in the fire helps you during those moments. The
fiery trial that Peter went through helped him be the Peter,
(45:12):
he needed to be on the day of Pentecost. There
was good grain in there and it had to be revealed.
He had to come to the end of himself and
see himself. Peter, like I said, he learned the hard way,
and you see that in his writings First Peter, Chapter four,
verse twelve. Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery
(45:35):
trials you are going through, as if something strange were
happening to you. Instead, be very glad for these trials
make you partners with Messiah and his suffering, so that
you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory
when it is revealed to the world. Speaking from experience,
(45:57):
experience is a great teacher.

Be glad, Be glad that you go through this.

The person you'll be on the other side of it
will be the person that he can use for his
kingdom to destroy the enemy's kingdom. Stuff's going to happen
to those of us who believe in him. Larry and
I were talking about that today, that sometimes the anointing,
the intimacy, the proximity, the revelations that are given come

with the price, And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I wouldn't trade anything for the relationship I have with him,
what he allows me to do for him and with him.
The promise is that when stuff happens, he will be
with us. Through the Holy Spirit. He's given us the

ability to be overcomers with him. John sixteen thirty three.
I have told you this so that you may have
peace in me here in the earth, where you will
have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, I have
overcome the world. In the world, you would and will

have tribulations and trials, and distresses and frustrations. But be
of good cheer, take courage, be confident, certain, be undaunted.
For he your Shoe, has overcome the world. He has
deprived it of its power to harm us, and he's
conquered it for us. Hold on to that. The world

hates us. The God of this world hates us. We're
watching governments turn on us. We're watching entire systems, the
media turn on us. I'm not worried about it, because
you Shoe has overcome them both. He's the one who
has the final say. We have peace in him and
(47:52):
through him, no matter what the trials and sorrows are,
no matter what the enemy does, to us, no matter,
no matter what happens in all things, all things work
together for good. There will be trials and tribulations, there
will be challenges. We live in a fallen world. Things happen.

We don't have our glorified bodies yet, so they break down.
Sickness happens. Timothy went through some stuff. Timothy, young man
chosen by Paul put at the head of a flourishing church,
came under attack because of his age. Came under attack
by all those that didn't like Paul, didn't like what
he was teaching. First, Timothy is a church exploding. Two

Timothy is a church imploding. He writes to Timothy. I'm
going to start first, Timothy. To Timothy, a beloved son, grace,
mercy and peace from God the Father and Messiah Yashua
a Lord. I thank God, whom I serve with pure
conscience as my forefathers did, as without ceasing, I remember
(48:58):
you in my prayers day and greatly desiring to see you,
being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled
with joy when I call to remembrance the genuine faith
that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother
Lois and your mother Eunice. Obviously his father was not

a believer, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore,
I remind you to stir up the gift of God
which is in you, through the laying out of my hands.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Whatever tough time Timothy is going through, a spirit of
fear has begun to assail him, afflict him. So this
a personal letter from Paul to Timothy that God is
allowing us to learn from on account of your truth,
faith and your consecration. The answer to your problem is

I remind you to stir up the gift of God
that is in you. That's what I'm doing to you
right now as you listen. Stir up the gift of
God that is in you. That Greek word for stir
up means to kindle up the fire, to add.

If the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit are
neglected and ignored, they don't cease. They do not cease
from the Holy Spirit, but they cease in us. The
pilot light goes down low. You can't neglect them, you
can't ignore them. Stir them up. It started out in
First Timothy, his first letter to him One Timothy four fourteen.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which
was given to you by prophecy with the laying on
of hands of the eldership. Hey, remember that special endowment,
that talent, that capability, which was intentionally bestowed upon you
by the Holy Spirit. Don't neglect it. Fan it into flames.
It's not an automatic. It must be cultivated. The pilot

light is always on, but it must be fed fuel
prayer and the Word of God, or the fuel for
a fire. That's why whenever somebody tells me what problems
they're going through, I think they're looking to me for
some magic answer. And my first question is, well, tell
me about your prayer life, tell me about your studying
the Word. Where are you what's going on? Are you're

feeding your spirit inside of you? Are you feeding the flame?
More often than not, they're not. So My point about
living in the fire is that the gifts of the
spirit which have been given to us are vital to
our spiritual walk and especially for ministry. You know, when
(51:49):
I was dwelling on this, the word inspired kept coming
to mind. Inspired inspired, so I had to look it up.
According to the American Herodage Dictionary, it says inspired is
of such surpassing brilliance or excellence as to suggest divine inspiration.
(52:11):
It means to be breathed, then inhaled. It's moved or
animated by a supernatural influence, affected by divine inspiration. That's
the Holy Spirit. That's what makes us the way we
are inspired filled with the spirit. You see that word
(52:33):
used in two Timothy three sixteen. All scripture is given
by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction and righteousness. All scripture is God breathed,
given by divine inspiration. What does God breathe his ro
(52:54):
Ka Kadesh, his Holy Spirit so we can have peace
and endure all things that He's using to make us
better and stronger and more faith filled.

You can do it.

I can do it, and when it's finished, we will
see that all things do work together for good for
our benefit, to assist us in our walk and our
call it. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are vital
to everything in the Kingdom of God, and if they're
not properly used or replenished with the continued grace and

power from the Holy Spirit anointing. You become powerless and
failing your purpose, not because the power wasn't there, but
because you neglected it. And that's why we see the
constant flow of the Spirit and the Book of Acts.
That's why we see it in the teachings, in the
(53:54):
letters from Peter and James and John and Paul. That's
why we see it in everything that was said. Now,
all of their actions the Book of Action have been
called the acts of the Holy Spirit, not the acts
of the apostles. That's the Church, the acts of the
(54:15):
Holy Spirit. At least that's what we were supposed to pay.
And Paul prayed this for the Church. And I'm going
to read this to you as a prayer from Ephesians
ireetarting verse fourteen. For this reason, I bow my knees
to the Father of our Lord, Jesus, the Messiah, from
(54:36):
whom the whole family in heaven and earth.

Is named, that he would grant.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
You, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might through His Holy Spirit in the inner man,
that Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith that you,
being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to
comprehend with all this, Saints, what is the width and length,

and depth and height to know the love of Messiah
which passes all knowledge? That you may be filled with
all the fullness of God. Now to him who is
able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask
or think, according to the power that works in us.

To Him be glory in the Church by Messiah Yeshuah,
to all generations forever and ever. Amen to be strengthened
with might through His Spirit, that you may be filled
with all the fullness of God, according to the power

dwelling your innermost being and personality, to live in the
fiery inspiration the Holy Spirit, to do all that needs
to be done in this hour, not just in our lives,

love are dying spiritually and physically. What are you going
to do about it? Are you going to take this
fire and use it? Are you going to get up
each morning and say, Holy Spirit, burn in me, burn

in me, Let the fire of the Holy One. Burn
in me, burn off of me anything that's not of you. Lord,
Stir me up, empower me, give me the words, help
me to make it through this day. That's our hearts cry. Lord,
(56:57):
we need that right now. Your church needs that right
now for all my brothers and sisters and myself.

Stir it up. Send the wind to the spirit. Let
it burn. Burn the chaff, burn the waste, burn the weeds.
Burn the things in our life that have been allowed
to grow and attach themselves to us. Anything that's not
of you, burn it off of us. All sickness, all illness,

all disease, all demonic attachments, all the thoughts of the enemy.

Burn them out of us. Holy Spirit, have your way,
do what needs to be done this hour and this
day to get us to where we need to be.

and the martyrred, the poor in spirit, the bound and
the oppressed, the innocence, and those who are victims of injustice.

both in and out of the womb. For missing and
exploited children, those who have become victims of human sex trafficking,
even the adult women that are being snatched off the
street by the powers of darkness. Pray for our brothers

and sisters believers around the world that are being persecuted
and slaughtered for their faith, their homes destroyed, the places
of worship destroyed. I pray against the growing religious persecution
and the anti Semitism, which is the work of the
spirit of the Antichrist. I pray for divine wholeness, health

and healing, and each and every one of us that
by the blood, by the stripes of the Lord, we
are healed, not just from the curse of sin and death,
but from all that the enemy would do in regards
to bondage, sickness, and disease. I pray for His protection
over each and every one of us, over all that

we have, and for the inspiration the fire of the
Holy Spirit to fill us, for the Remnant to awaken
and answer the call to action, that the doors would
open for all the projects and plans that he has ordained,
and the kingdom finances for Kingdom business would come in
twenty twenty six. So, Father, that's only a little bit

of what we'd like to ask for, But you know
our needs even before we speak them. We asked that
you would touch us, Lord, touch us, touch us and heart, mind, body,

Last time on the porch, we talked about that the
church gets faith from the fire the Holy Spirit. The
fire of the Holy Spirit is the driving force that
enables believers to overcome fear and boldly proclaim the Gospel,
even in the face of opposition, whether that opposition is
(08:33):
natural or supernatural. It gives us the faith to live
a redeemed life, and that comes from the presence of
the Holy Spirit fire within us. Look at Luke chapter nine,
starting verse one. Then he he being issued, called his
twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over
(08:57):
all demons and to cure diseases, not just some demons,
all demons, and he sent them to preach the Kingdom
of God and to heal the sick. Whatever house you enter,
he said, stay there, and from their depart and whoever
will not receive you when you go out of that city,
(09:17):
shake off the very dust from your feet as a
testimony against them. So they went out, they departed. They
went through the towns, preaching the Gospel and healing everywhere, everywhere,
not just somewhere, everywhere. Jesus Yeshiah. He called them together,
(09:38):
the Twelve Disciples, and he gave them imparted to them
the right to exercise power and authority over all demons,
over all the demonic realm, and to heal diseases. So healing,
deliverance from demonic bondage, and the Kingdom of God go
(10:02):
hand in hand. You can't have them without the other.
How people can preach the Kingdom of God without healing
and deliverance from demonic bondage, I don't know. Said he
gave them power and authority Dunamus and Exusia to cast
out all the demons, healo diseases. That's the power or
(10:25):
the right to command and control that kingdom, that realm.
Those demons. The delegated power refers to the authority that God. Remember,
holy Spirit comes from him, emanates from him, gives to
his saints, each and every one of us, authorizing us
(10:47):
to act to the extent that we are guided by
faith in his revealed word. It's not by what we think,
it's by what he thinks. We take our watching orders
from him. So to help prepare the Twelve Disciples to
carry on his work following his ascension into heaven, you
(11:09):
sure sends them out first in pairs two by two
on short missions of ministry, and they start to practice
what he has been preaching and teaching to them. The
disciples take this authority and use the power he's transferred
(11:31):
to them, and it's been transferred to all of us.
Look at Matthew ten to one, and when he called
his twelve disciples too, and he gave them power over
unclean spirits to cast them out, heal all kinds of
sicknesses and all kinds of diseases. Similarly, in Mark chapter six,
(11:51):
starting verse seven, he called the twelve and began to
send them out as his special messenger two and gave
them authority in power over the unclean spirits. He told
them to take nothing for the journey except a mere
walking stick, no bread, no traveler's bag, no money in
(12:12):
their belts, but to wear sandals. And he told them
not to wear two tunics. Now why did he say that?

They're not there to impress anybody. They're not there to
put on a show. They're there to very simply preach
the gospel. And he told them, wherever you go into
a house, stay there until you leave that town, any
place that does not welcome you, and listen to you.
When you leave their shake the dust off the soles

of your feet as a testimony against them, breaking all
ties with them, because they rejected my message. And so
they went out preached that men should repent, and they
were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil
many who were sick and healing them. They were telling
(13:06):
them repent, change the way you think, change the way
you act, live a different life, and believe in Joshua
as Messiah, Jesus as Savior.

Foreshadowing of the ministry activity that the church would embark
upon after his departure and would continue until the time
of his return. So that Greek word exusia power, delegated authority.
It's the right to use power someone else's power as

tread on. To tread on means to have absolute mastery
over this is in some halfway hal Beggd. Partial authority. No, no, no,

they were to tread on them, take complete control over them,
to defeat them. What does it say in Psalm ninety
one thirteen you shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
the young lion and the serpent. You shall trample under

our enemies. As born again believers, we are to have
the power over all the power of the enemy, all
the power of the devil, all the power of the
kingdom of darkness. And nothing shall by any means hurt

Does that mean we're never going to suffer any pain? No,
absolutely no, because we know from other sections like Matthew
ten Verses sixteen through twenty two. He tells them the
hard road they have before them, a road of persecution
and hatred and attacks because of their association with them,
and the actual history of the apostles and the others

that followed them. Through that, we know that this exemption
from being hurt does not imply freedom from all physical
or material injury, for many of them died for the
Lord and still do.

The serpents and the scorpions and all the power of
the enemy. It refers to demonic powers primarily, and guess what,
there's immunity from harm from wild beasts and the poisons
that may come from them. We see that in next
twenty eight to three, Paul's on a missionary journey. He
gets shipwrecked. He's there on the land with the people
(16:00):
on the ship, and he gathers a bunch of sticks
and lays them on the fire, and a viper, a
very poisonous sandsnake, comes out of it because of the
heat and fastens onto his hand and bites him. And
what happens nothing. Paul shakes it off into the fire,
(16:20):
Go into all the world, preach the Gospel to all creation.
He who has believed in me. Look, this is Mark
sixteen fifteen. I know that there are some commentaries that
reject its inclusion. They say that the Mark sixteen ends
on like verse eight, which makes absolutely no sense. It's
(16:41):

go into all the world, preach the gospel of all creation.
He who has believed in me and has been baptized
will be saved from the penalty of God's wrath and judgment.
He has not believed will be condemned. Pretty straightforward, these

signs will accompany those who have believed in my name.
They will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues.
They would take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly,
it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on
the sick, and they will get well. He who believes,
anyone who believes, will do that. So the word authority

is rarely used in the Old Testament. In the New Testament,
to translate from the Greek exusia as I said, a
word for which there is no exact correspondence in Hebrew
or Aramaic, Exusie expresses both freedom and legal rights, and
it's used in the Bible in numerous ways. One hundred

and three times sixty nine times is power, twenty nine
times as authority two times is right. Then you have liberty, jurisdiction,
and strength. One time must have been important to have
that many references in the New Testament. And that happened
because when Yashu had died of the cross, rose from

the grave and ascended to the right hand of the Father,
spiritual authority shifted throughout the entire universe. And if Susia

was saying, I have given you authority that you now
possess to tread on serpents and scorpions, and the ability

to exercise authority over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing will in any way harm you. Where does
this authority come from. It comes from the Lord. Where
does this power come from? It comes from the Lord,
comes from the throne room, to tread on, to trample,

to have complete control over the enemy. That's what we've
been delegated. That's what He's given to his church, the
right to use his power to destroy the works of
the enemy. The reason I'm belaboring this point is because

so many believers in all the years I've been doing
this cannot understand this. And if you've been with me
on the porch since the beginning, I've taught this many times,
and I still find that people cannot grasp it that
(20:50):
we have the power the dounamus, we have the ability,
we have the might, we have the right, miracle, wonder
working power, the strength of the Holy Spirit, the force
of God from the Throne room to perform miracles for
the glory of God. Exusia is the authority to manifest power.

Why are there's so many powerless believers? Why because as
they think, they become I'm weak. I can't do this. Well,
now you can't. Doesn't negate the word, it negates your
ability to use it. And so Exusia and Dunamus. I

said that they're interchangeable, and they can be used together,
which means I use just me. I have the jurisdiction
of the legal right to act in or with the
miraculous power of the King of Kings and the Lord
of Lords and my heavenly the God of all creation.

doesn't line up with that thinking. She was said in
John fourteen twelve. Most assuredly, I say to you, he
who believes in me, the works that I do, he
will do also, and greater works than these he will do.
Because I go to my Father, and I could add

sending back the Holy Spirit. This is the promise of
the Lord to you, and I I need you to
hear me. I assure you, and most solemnly say to you,
anyone who believes in me as Savior will also do

the things that I do, and he or she will
do even greater things than these, in extent and outreach,
because I am going back to the Father. And we
know that the minute he sat down next to the Father,
the Holy Spirit was sent to the church. So the

church and its ministry possess just genuine religious authority, but
only as they serve the mission of the Lord and
in faithfulness to the Word, to the Bible, and for
the building up and edification and furthering of the church.

It's not for personal use. It's not something that we're
supposed to get all full of ourselves. The disciples did
if you pick up again in lieuten on verse seventeen,
when the seventy returned, they returned with joy, saying, Lord,
even the demons are subject to us in your name.

And I kind of get it. This is new to them.
They've never felt this before. And what does he do?
He corrects, them verse eighteen, and he said to them,
I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. What's the
inference there? He fell because of pride. Behold, I give
the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over

all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by
any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this
that the spirits a subject to you, or rather rejoice
because your names are written in heaven. Power over demons
should not be a source of joy or pride. But

the relationship and the adoption and the restoration we've been
given as evidence by our names being written in the
Lamb's book of life in heaven, that's what we should
joy in. And it is a natural tendency for people
to glory and the exercise of power, whether inherit or conferred.

But as I said, that arises from pride. And we
know who the author of pride is and has often
shipwrecked gifted people, crashed their ministry, destroyed it after the
enemy took advantage of it. Against such feelings and weakness,
(25:53):
Messiah solemnly warns us through his word to his disciples,
I've seen people get full of themselves I don't know
why I didn't. I mean, I got excited over it
because I'd work the other side for so long and
been a part of that world and seen and done
things in the kingdom of darkness. But it never became

something for me to puff myself up about because I
understood the price that came with it. In Mark sixteen twenty,
it says that they, they, the disciples, went out preached everywhere,
the Lord working with them. I see other key to this,
confirming the Word through the accompanying science. We don't do
(26:38):
this by ourselves. We're doing it with the Holy Spirit.
The Lord is working with us. We're doing it for
the glory of God and the Kingdom of God. But
if you went on YouTube or Instagram or Facebook right now,
you could probably find thousands, maybe tens of thousands of
ministries and ministers and people glorifying themselves. This was a
(27:01):
part of the day of Pentecost. This is what this
was about. To live in the fire and walk in
the fire with all that goes with it. God, he
says in Acts one, he says to them, you've heard
from me from John truly baptized with water. But you
shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Not many days
(27:23):
from now you shall receive power. When the Holy Spirit
has come upon you, you shall be witnesses to me in
Jerusalem and all Judee in Samaria and to the ends
of the earth. What's the progression power witnessing evangelism. Pretty basic,
power witnessing evangelism. And the church was supposed to be
(27:48):
a church of power, and for the most part, for
the first from the time of the Resurrection of the
Lord to the Council of Nice in three twenty five AD,
it was the man got involved and religion got involved
and all that went with it, and the power disappeared.

There's a story about Thomas Aquinas. He was an Italian
Dominican friar and priest. He was also a theologian and philosopher.
He visits Rome and is shown the gorgeousness of the
papal palace by the Pope, and the Pope says them, well, Thomas,
the church in our day cannot say silver and gold

have I none? No, replied Thomas Aquinas, neither can she say.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, writer is
up and walk, and that's how things die. The church
increases in riches and worldly wisdom and decreases in spiritual

power and godliness is brilliant. He cannot defeed us in
a direct power to power confrontation, So what does he do.
He dilutes the power. He gets us to turn it off,
and then he convinces us to keep it off, to
(29:18):
keep the riches and the fame, and the houses and
the cars, and the gold and the silver and the
clothing and all that goes with it, because the minute
you become a real threat to the enemy, all that
disappears in the attacks. Since I got saved, false religions
seem to be showing more and more power and giving
(29:42):
people the answers and the blessings that they're looking for,
whether physically, materially, spiritually, that the average everyday modern church
group isn't getting for them. So they turn to those
false religions and those false beliefs and those false teachings
(30:05):
looking for benefits that are tangible. People are hungry for
the supernatural to heal when they need it. They want
answers to prayers, they want material help, they want freedom
from sin and failure, and if they cannot find it
in one source I'll find it and accept it from another.
(30:27):
And if they can't get the real that the Gospel offers,
they will accept the substitute that Satan sells them. Satan
knows very well that he can deceive men by his
counterfeit power. I wasn't born again, but I was deceived.
I was looking for power. I was offered it from
(30:49):
the witchcraft, from the crystals, from the New Age, from.

All the things that I did back then. It was real.

I used it, but it was counterfeit. There was nothing
like the power I willed now. And you see his name,
and Satan is winning millions to his teachings, to his thinking,
to his impartation. The Church should be doing that. The
Church should be setting the captives free, opening their eyes.

We need to get back to basics and be like
the Book of Acts. Church was preaching the gospel, healing
the sick and doing everything that the Lord showed them
to do and believing because we're praying and because the
Word is in us one John five, verses fourteen and fifteen.

Now this is the confidence that we have in him
that if we ask anything according to his will, he
hears us. And if we know that he hears us
whatever we ask. We know that we have the petitions
that we have asked of him. Of course, this is
asking anything according to his will. Conversely, he means he

doesn't hear us when we're praying against his will or
without his will, and we need to do it in faith.
We need to get to the point that we know
God can, and we believe that he will Hebrews eleven six.
Without faith, it is impossible to please him. For he
who comes to God must believe that He is, that

is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Oh, Richard,
I get it, but I don't know how to pray.
I don't know what to do. I have this petition,
I have this burden, I have all this stuff welling
up inside of me, and I just don't know what

to say. Again, that's what the Holy Spirit is for
Romans eighth, starting verse twenty six. And this is amplified
in the same way. The Spirit comes to us and
helps us in our weakness. We do not know what
prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should,
(33:12):
but the Spirit himself knows our need and at the
right time intercedes on our behalf with the size and
groanings too deep for words. And he who searches the
hearts knows what the mind of the spirit is, because
the Spirit intercedes before God on behalf of his people
(33:34):
in accordance with God's will. And we know with great
confidence that God, who is deeply concerned about us, causes
all things to work together as a plan for good
for those who love God, to those who are called
according to his plan and purpose. Believe his Bible Commentari
(34:00):
says God is working all things together for good to
those who love Him and to those who are called
according to His purpose. All things may not always seem so.
Sometimes when we are suffering heartbreak, tragedy, disappointment, frustration, and bereavement,
(34:21):
we wonder what good can come out of it, But
the following verse gives the answer. Whatever God permits to
come into our lives is designed to conform us to
the image of His son. When we see this, it
takes the question mark out of our prayers. Our lives
(34:43):
are not controlled by impersonal forces such as chance, luck,
or fate, but by our wonderful personal Lord, who is
too loving to be unkind and too wise to err,
even in hardship and suffering, even in bitter disappointments, even
(35:06):
when wrongly treated, Believers can know that God will work
in the middle of those situations to fulfill his good
purpose in his children. Now this doesn't mean that the
Holy Spirit praise instead of us. It's our size and
groanings that he takes part with us and makes our
(35:30):
weak prayers effective. Now, there are some that interpret the
groanings as uttered by the Holy Spirit, and I think
it's the two. I think it's both me and the
Holy Spirit. When I get into that groaning, when I
have words that make no sense, and I've prayed like that,
(35:51):
interceded like that, that's when the Holy Spirit takes over.
That's when the sound takes of the Spirit comes. That's
when the texture and the intensity and the prayer changes.
We ourselves groan, and such groanings imply a degree of
distress or anguish, and it may be appropriate for us,
(36:17):
but not for our creator. And that's why the Holy
Spirit helps us. That's why he takes those prayers and
turns them into supernaturally empowered words and emotions. The situation
may stay difficult, but through faith and the presence of
the Holy Spirit. We know good results will come. We
(36:41):
know that whatever we're going through will benefit us to
mature us. Why because we're the ones that are called
as children of God, don't We don't always know what
to pray or how best to pray. But we know
that the purpose of God is that the whole Holy
Spirit help us in those prayers. And the more you pray,
(37:04):
the better you get at it. But I don't care
how good you are. There are moments that you go through,
certain things that through sobbing and weeping, and the Spirit
has to help you. And whatever you're going through, it'll
be for the good. Whatever suffering, whatever the enemy is doing,
whatever the world is doing, will be for our betterment.

Because it's not always going to be easy, it's not
always going to be fun, it's not always going to
be painless. But if we love God and we are
called by God, our responses to love and to keep
going and let the Holy Spirit work in us. On
top of that, if we have a calling and been

called according to His purpose, everything He allows to happen
in our life will accomplish his plan for us and
for the Kingdom of God. He will accomplish his plan.
Look at Isaiah fifty five, starting verse eight. For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways,

says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than
the earth, so am I ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain
comes down and the snow from heaven, but do not
return there the water the earth, and make it bring
(38:31):
forth and bud that it may give seed to the
sower and bread to the eater. So shall my word
be that goes forth from my mouth. It shall not
return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing for which I
(38:51):
scent it. Verse eleven. Let me repeat this again. Somebody
out there, you have to hear this, whatever you're going
through right now now. So shall my word be that
goes forth from my mouth. It shall not return to
me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, says
(39:13):
the Lord. And it shall prosper in the thing for
which I scent it. It won't be void, it won't
be empty, it won't be without fruit. But the problem is,
everybody wants fruit without tilling the ground and planting the
seed and working the harvest. They want magic fruit. There's fruit. No,

there's a process to fruit, and we must accept that process.
Those noises was fruit just appearing on the vine. If
you didn't get it. This is the promise of the Lord.
When his word goes forth out of his mouth, it
doesn't return to him without producing any effect, being useless.

It does exactly what he pleases and purposes, and will
prosper for the very thing for which it was sent.
King James Study Bible notes. God's sovereignty and omniscience are
extolled by the statement that his thoughts, purposes or intentions,

and his ways or directions are higher than ours. And
how easy is it to forget that? Sometimes familiarity can
breed contempt in the sense that you take it for granted.
You don't understand how higher his thoughts and thinking and

emotions and plans are than ours. That our human minds
are terrestrial fleshly minds can grasp. Oh, God can be
known by us, but he's still incomprehensible in the totality
of his person and purposes and plans. That's why he

if he said it shall happen. He prophesied the Messiah,
and it happened. He prophesied the return of Israel to
their land, it happened. Doesn't matter what we think, doesn't

matter what man thinks, doesn't matter what society thinks. If
he said it, he will do it, and the Word
of God accomplishes his purpose in announcing salvation all mankind.
We are always engaged in a war between our flesh
and our spirit, the worldly nature against our spiritual nature,

and we are called to embrace the spiritual, godly nature
that He's placed in us through the Holy Spirit. That's
that war between the world, the flesh, and the devil
with us the Kingdom of God. So no matter what
you're going through right now, it's to your advantage and
will better you if you let it. It's all a

matter of perspective. I believe if you are his nothing
happens in our life, but what he allows. Sometimes he
allows us to make bad decisions as a learning experience
so that we won't make them again. If he stopped
us from ever making a mistake, we would never learn

from it. Look what happens with Peter and Luke twelve,
studying verse thirty one after Peter, you know, denies. Oh Lord,
you're not going to do this, and I'll be with

Satan has asked for you that he may sift you
as wheat. But I have prayed for you that your

faith should not fail, and when you have returned to me,
strengthen your brethren. Oh Lord, I'm ready to go with
you both to prison and to death. He said, I
tell you, Peter the rooster, shawna crow this day before
you will deny me three times that you would deny
that you know me. And right there Peter entered the

school of the Spirit, and the Lord wanted to make
sure that Peter got the lesson right, and Satan was
going to be the teacher. He didn't say, Okay, I'm
gonna stop Satan from doing this. No, I've prayed for
you that your faith should not fail when you endure this,
when you go through this and come back, strengthen your
(43:41):
brethren through your example, to sift, to prove by trials,
to Winnow, you know, like the wheat and lifting it up,
because we know that there's some good wheat in there,
but you got to go through something to get it.
I prayed for you, Peter. The Lord says that your
faith may not fail the enemy from fulfilling the request,
(44:03):
said that he prayed for him, and that Peter was
to use his lesson for the others. See, he wasn't
just about Peter. It was about the disciples too. Sometimes
when we go through things that isn't just about us,
it's about others too, and it's about the lesson we
get from it. Satan probably wanted to test all of
(44:25):
them to show that they were weak, to show the
Lord that they weren't worth the effort he was putting in.
I mean, Judas had already been tempted. Satan won him,
so why not go after the rest. Satan is arrogant,
is without mercy. He petitions the throne room day and night.
He's the accuser of the brethren. He's taking shot at believers,
(44:48):
shot after shot, to destroy them, to demean them, to
get God to give up on them. We can't allow
that to happen. Why the fire of the Holy Spirit.
Living in the fire helps you during those moments. The
fiery trial that Peter went through helped him be the Peter,
(45:12):
he needed to be on the day of Pentecost. There
was good grain in there and it had to be revealed.
He had to come to the end of himself and
see himself. Peter, like I said, he learned the hard way,
and you see that in his writings First Peter, Chapter four,
verse twelve. Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery
(45:35):
trials you are going through, as if something strange were
happening to you. Instead, be very glad for these trials
make you partners with Messiah and his suffering, so that
you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory
when it is revealed to the world. Speaking from experience,
(45:57):
experience is a great teacher.

The person you'll be on the other side of it
will be the person that he can use for his
kingdom to destroy the enemy's kingdom. Stuff's going to happen
to those of us who believe in him. Larry and
I were talking about that today, that sometimes the anointing,
the intimacy, the proximity, the revelations that are given come

with the price, And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I wouldn't trade anything for the relationship I have with him,
what he allows me to do for him and with him.
The promise is that when stuff happens, he will be
with us. Through the Holy Spirit. He's given us the

ability to be overcomers with him. John sixteen thirty three.
I have told you this so that you may have
peace in me here in the earth, where you will
have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, I have
overcome the world. In the world, you would and will
(47:08):
have tribulations and trials, and distresses and frustrations. But be
of good cheer, take courage, be confident, certain, be undaunted.
For he your Shoe, has overcome the world. He has
deprived it of its power to harm us, and he's
conquered it for us. Hold on to that. The world
(47:31):
hates us. The God of this world hates us. We're
watching governments turn on us. We're watching entire systems, the
media turn on us. I'm not worried about it, because
you Shoe has overcome them both. He's the one who
has the final say. We have peace in him and
(47:52):
through him, no matter what the trials and sorrows are,
no matter what the enemy does, to us, no matter,
no matter what happens in all things, all things work
together for good. There will be trials and tribulations, there
will be challenges. We live in a fallen world. Things happen.
(48:13):
We don't have our glorified bodies yet, so they break down.
Sickness happens. Timothy went through some stuff. Timothy, young man
chosen by Paul put at the head of a flourishing church,
came under attack because of his age. Came under attack
by all those that didn't like Paul, didn't like what
he was teaching. First, Timothy is a church exploding. Two
(48:38):
Timothy is a church imploding. He writes to Timothy. I'm
going to start first, Timothy. To Timothy, a beloved son, grace,
mercy and peace from God the Father and Messiah Yashua
a Lord. I thank God, whom I serve with pure
conscience as my forefathers did, as without ceasing, I remember
(48:58):
you in my prayers day and greatly desiring to see you,
being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled
with joy when I call to remembrance the genuine faith
that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother
Lois and your mother Eunice. Obviously his father was not
(49:18):
a believer, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore,
I remind you to stir up the gift of God
which is in you, through the laying out of my hands.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
(49:39):
Whatever tough time Timothy is going through, a spirit of
fear has begun to assail him, afflict him. So this
a personal letter from Paul to Timothy that God is
allowing us to learn from on account of your truth,
faith and your consecration. The answer to your problem is
(50:00):
I remind you to stir up the gift of God
that is in you. That's what I'm doing to you
right now as you listen. Stir up the gift of
God that is in you. That Greek word for stir
up means to kindle up the fire, to add.

If the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit are
neglected and ignored, they don't cease. They do not cease
from the Holy Spirit, but they cease in us. The
pilot light goes down low. You can't neglect them, you
can't ignore them. Stir them up. It started out in
First Timothy, his first letter to him One Timothy four fourteen.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which
was given to you by prophecy with the laying on
of hands of the eldership. Hey, remember that special endowment,
that talent, that capability, which was intentionally bestowed upon you
by the Holy Spirit. Don't neglect it. Fan it into flames.
It's not an automatic. It must be cultivated. The pilot

light is always on, but it must be fed fuel
prayer and the Word of God, or the fuel for
a fire. That's why whenever somebody tells me what problems
they're going through, I think they're looking to me for
some magic answer. And my first question is, well, tell
me about your prayer life, tell me about your studying
the Word. Where are you what's going on? Are you're
(51:25):
feeding your spirit inside of you? Are you feeding the flame?
More often than not, they're not. So My point about
living in the fire is that the gifts of the
spirit which have been given to us are vital to
our spiritual walk and especially for ministry. You know, when
(51:49):
I was dwelling on this, the word inspired kept coming
to mind. Inspired inspired, so I had to look it up.
According to the American Herodage Dictionary, it says inspired is
of such surpassing brilliance or excellence as to suggest divine inspiration.
(52:11):
It means to be breathed, then inhaled. It's moved or
animated by a supernatural influence, affected by divine inspiration. That's
the Holy Spirit. That's what makes us the way we
are inspired filled with the spirit. You see that word
(52:33):
used in two Timothy three sixteen. All scripture is given
by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction and righteousness. All scripture is God breathed,
given by divine inspiration. What does God breathe his ro
(52:54):
Ka Kadesh, his Holy Spirit so we can have peace
and endure all things that He's using to make us
better and stronger and more faith filled.

I can do it, and when it's finished, we will
see that all things do work together for good for
our benefit, to assist us in our walk and our
call it. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are vital
to everything in the Kingdom of God, and if they're
not properly used or replenished with the continued grace and

power from the Holy Spirit anointing. You become powerless and
failing your purpose, not because the power wasn't there, but
because you neglected it. And that's why we see the
constant flow of the Spirit and the Book of Acts.
That's why we see it in the teachings, in the

letters from Peter and James and John and Paul. That's
why we see it in everything that was said. Now,
all of their actions the Book of Action have been
called the acts of the Holy Spirit, not the acts
of the apostles. That's the Church, the acts of the
(54:15):
Holy Spirit. At least that's what we were supposed to pay.
And Paul prayed this for the Church. And I'm going
to read this to you as a prayer from Ephesians
ireetarting verse fourteen. For this reason, I bow my knees
to the Father of our Lord, Jesus, the Messiah, from
(54:36):
whom the whole family in heaven and earth.

You, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might through His Holy Spirit in the inner man,

able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask
or think, according to the power that works in us.

To Him be glory in the Church by Messiah Yeshuah,
to all generations forever and ever. Amen to be strengthened
with might through His Spirit, that you may be filled
with all the fullness of God, according to the power
that works in us spiritually, strength and energized through the

power of the Holy Spirit. To your inner self, end
dwelling your innermost being and personality, to live in the
fiery inspiration the Holy Spirit, to do all that needs
to be done in this hour, not just in our lives,
not just for the Church, for the world. People you
(56:12):
love are dying spiritually and physically. What are you going
to do about it? Are you going to take this
fire and use it? Are you going to get up
each morning and say, Holy Spirit, burn in me, burn
(56:32):
in me, Let the fire of the Holy One. Burn
in me, burn off of me anything that's not of you. Lord,
Stir me up, empower me, give me the words, help
me to make it through this day. That's our hearts cry. Lord,
(56:57):
we need that right now. Your church needs that right
now for all my brothers and sisters and myself.
Speaker 2 (57:04):
Stir it up. Send the wind to the spirit. Let
it burn. Burn the chaff, burn the waste, burn the weeds.
Burn the things in our life that have been allowed
to grow and attach themselves to us. Anything that's not
of you, burn it off of us. All sickness, all illness,
(57:25):
all disease, all demonic attachments, all the thoughts of the enemy.
Speaker 1 (57:30):
Burn them out of us. Holy Spirit, have your way,
do what needs to be done this hour and this
day to get us to where we need to be.
And I pray this from my heart in your Shower's name. Amen.

would make his face to shine upon you and be
gracious to you. May the Lord, I don't know you, Shamashiah,
