Right now, there's an incredible amount of hate and lack
of love towards Jerusalem and Israel because of everything going

on in the world. I'm going to do what the
Word says do and I'm going to pray for them.
Pray for America. Pray that God would forgive us and
shed his grace upon us. We sorely need it, and
we need leaders that will honor the word of God
and live accordingly. I pray for the people in Iran

right now who are feeling let down and abandoned and
are being slaughtered by the regime that's there, and it's unfair,
not justice. So I pray that God would intervene on
their behalf, and I pray that we would do what

we're supposed to do in regard to that. Most of
all to pray for them, I pray for the fatherless,
the widows that persecuted, and the martyrd the innocence those
who are victims of injustice. I pray against the slaughter
of the innocent, both in and out of the womb,
for the missing and exploited children, for those who are
victims of human sex, trafficking, and satanic endeavor, if ever

there was one. I pray for our brothers and sisters
around the world being persecuted and slaughtered for their faith.
The growing religious persecution going on in the world and
the anti Semitism clearly is the work of the spirit
of the Antichrist, So we should be praying against that
interceding pushing back. Pray for divine wholeness, health and healing

and each and every one of us, every one of
us that need it in our homes, our families, or
even our paths. Divine wholeness, health and healing in your
Shoea's name. I pray for his protection that Psalm ninety
one covering to be upon us, and for the inspiration
and the fire of the Holy Spirit.

We have a lot to cover. It's pretty in depth
and pretty intense, and I don't want you to miss

But I feel, I feel that this message from the
Lord is going to be one of the more important
ones I've ever done. Last week we talked to Phesians
five verses fifteen and sixteen. We mentioned it, but it's
what I'm building upon. See then, that you walk circumspence actly,
not as fools, but as wise redeeming the time, because
(08:06):
the days are evil, making the very most of your
time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity
and using it with wisdom and diligence. Because the days
are filled with evil, We're living in evil times, evil days.

We cannot ignore that. If you put your head in
the sand, it doesn't change that making the most of
our time to do what share the gospel, make disciples,
get them baptized, do what needs to be done before
the return of the Lord. I know many, and I

don't think any of you, but many people I meet
who claim to be believers have this attitude of all,
I don't have to do any of that, It's all
been done. I'm just going to hang out till my
ride shows up. Well, I guess you could do that,
but not only are you going to miss out on
a lot, it's not going to please him because that

kind of attitude doesn't line up with the word. The
Nelson Study Bible says redeeming the time means taking advantage
of opportunities for service. We each have a limited amount
of time on this earth. Paul exhorts us to use
as much of that time as possible for advancing the
(09:42):
Lord's purposes in this world. Once you became born again,
once you made your show it Jesus your Lord and Savior,
and you were translated into the kingdom of God's Son,
he became a part of a business, if you will,
(10:04):
a job, an effort, a calling, and none of that
includes sitting on your spiritual cushions. The Life Application Bible
Commentary says uses the quote be very careful than how
you live, not as unwise, but as wise, making the
most of every opportunity.

Because the days.

Are evil, Believers have a responsibility to live as children
of the light and to expose evil by our behavior,
by our being the light of the world. And we
have to be careful how we live Ephesians five, verses
eight through eleven. For you, you and I were once darkness,

but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as
children of the light. For the fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, finding out what
is acceptable.

To the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them. How do you expose them? By
the light of the Lord in you and by how
you walk? Our lives must please God. So we must
conduct ourselves in front of unbelievers to shine the Lord,

to shine his glory, to shine the Gospel, and to
draw others to Him because they're in darkness, whether they
know it or not. Paul encourage believers to live not
as unwise, but as wise. In other words, they must
take their knowledge of Messiah and apply it to their
everyday lives, and especially be aware of their conduct with unbelievers.

We should always be concerned with our witness. Yes, sometimes
mistakes are made. Sometimes time circumstances get the better of us.
We need to repent, and we need to cover it
in the blood so that the enemy can't take advantage
of it. But we have to walk carefully, diligently. The

great phrase from making the most of every opportunity conveys
the idea of buying from time, or as it says,
redeeming the time, carefully using our time to do for
opportunities to do good. Galatians six ten tells us, therefore,
as we have opportunity, let us do good to all,
(12:38):
but especially to those who are the household of faith.
If we can, we should. This implies that we should
not allow ourselves to be controlled by our circumstances, but
rather we should make use of time as a valuable
commodity or a resources. Valuable. Your time is valuable, My
(13:02):
time is valuable, and it should be used to further
the kingdom, whether in prayer, whether through actions, whether through finances,
whatever it is. We should be doing something because the
days are evil and Paul's sense of urgency was because
(13:23):
of the evil pervasiveness of his day. I wonder what
he would think about today. He would be shocked, in
my opinion, that the Church hasn't done more. He would
be shocked how easy it is for the enemy to
do what they do. The reason I say that because
I know I'm shocked. But throughout the entire scriptures, throughout
(13:48):
the writings, throughout the sayings, it was always pointing to
be awake, be aware, don't be careless. Romans Chapter one
talks about a an evil time. I'm only going to
pick it up from verse twenty eight, and as I
read this, I want you to think about how it
(14:08):
applies to the here and now. And even as they
did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a debased mind to do things
which are not fitting. Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual, immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness,
(14:30):
full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness. They are whisperers, backbiters,
haters of God, violent, proud boasters, inventors of evil things,
disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who knowing
(14:57):
the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such
things are deserving of death. Not only do they do
the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
That's society today. This dark list of sins that I
just read to you characterizes humanity's alienation from God. They
(15:22):
have chosen to turn away from God. And these aren't
just sins they're dabbling in. No, no, no, They're full
of them. They're fully committed to doing these things. And
because of that, you and I are called to walk
about watching on every hand, to avoid danger and enemies,
(15:45):
and to live the Gospel through our conduct. Look what
it says in Galatians chapter one, verses three through five.
Paul says, grace to you and peace from God, the
Father of Lord, Jesus, the Messiah, who gave himself for
our sins, that he might deliver us from this present
(16:07):
evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be glory forever and ever. I'm at this
present evil age. That word age is aon. This present
age is an evil one, and the Lord died to
deliver us from it. And the Word of God is transcendent,
(16:28):
and it transcends time. So as it was just as
appropriate then it's even more so now. And the word
deliver he might deliver us from That word delivered refers
to the sanctification in the face of the temptations of
(16:49):
this present age.

That's why Paul and Peter, and James and John, that's
why they're writing with their writing to encourage us to
cheer us on, to bring us forward in the faith.
Colautions four, starting verse two, continue earnestly in prayer, being
vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Meanwhile, praying also for us

that God would open to us a door for the
Word to speak the mystery of Messiah, for which I
am also in chains, that I make it manifest as
I ought to speak.

Walk in wisdom towards those who are outside, redeeming the
time there it is again, Let your speech always be
with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how
you ought to answer each one. We are living gospels,

We are living sermons every time we go out in
the world, and how we act and what we do
could determine a person's choice today. So when we resist
against evil, and we redeem the time. Who we or

what are we resisting against?

The enemy.

Kingdom of darkness, Satan, the fallen Angel, their demonic offspring.
That's who we're resisting against, which takes us to where
we're going to focus this week and next week. A
phees in six, starting verse ten. Finally, my brethren, be

strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may
be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the
(19:05):
heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. And,
having done all, to stand again right there in the
evil day verse fourteen, stand therefore, having girded your waste
(19:27):
with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, having
shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace,
above all taking the shield of faith with which you'll
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication
for all the saints and for me. Paul says that
utterance may be given to me, that I may open
my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel.

Three times Paul calls for believers to stand against the
devil's schemes, and this spiritual battle takes place against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. The New Living
Translation Study Bible says the New Testament writers were convinced
(20:36):
of the reality of evil and the dangers of the
spiritual world, so they took Satan the evil one. The
devil seriously is a real threat, and so should we,
because the devil inhibits the works of God's people one
Thessalonians to eighteen. Therefore, we wanted to come to you,
(20:56):
even I Paul time and again, but Satan hindered us. Well,
if you think he did that to Paul and to
the other disciples, what do you think he's going to
do to you? Revelation two ten says, do not fear
any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed,
the devil is about to throw some of you in prison,
(21:19):
that you may be tested, and you may have tribulation
ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give
you the crown of life. That's what evil days are like.
There will be persecution, there will be struggles, there will
be attacks. But greater is he that is in us
(21:40):
than he that is in the world. And we are
overcomers through his blood, by his name. But Satan prowls
around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour,
to tear apart one Peter five A be well balanced, temperate,
sober of mind, Be vigilant and cautious at all times
(22:03):
for that enemy of yours. The devil rooms about like
a roaring lion in fierce hunger, seeking someone to seize
upon and devour. I have only shared with you a
handful of scriptures that refer to this. Do you think
that they thought that there was a threat out there?
Do you think that they thought that the Church would
(22:25):
suffer because of us being in a fallen world? It
was warning us about the God of this world. Satan
and what he would do and how he would do it,
and what we would experience. Even the Lord did so
in Matthew twenty four Luke twenty one about the signs
of the times? How do we ignore this? How does
(22:48):
the majority of the church ignore what I'm talking about
right now? If you are honest with yourself, how many
of you pay attention to these things? You might have
the attitude that some do. What's all been done for me,
The victory's been done. I'm immune. But that's not what
(23:09):
the word says. And we're seeing our brothers and sisters
around the world suffering because they're not immune from it either.
The entire unbelieving world is subject to the power of
sin and the power of the devil. Ephesian, Chapter two,
(23:29):
verses one and two. This is the amplified and you
he made alive when you were dead, slain by your
trespasses and sins in which at one time you walked habitually.
You were following the course and fashion of the world,
were under the sway of the tendency of this present age,
(23:50):
following the prince of the power of the air. You
were obedient to and under the control of the demons
spirit that still constantly works, and the sons of disobedience,
the careless, rebellious, and unbelieving, who go against the purposes
of God. It hurts my heart sometimes to see how
(24:12):
many of my brothers and sisters are being victimized by
their own ignorance, by the lack of teaching or bad
teaching that they have subjected themselves to and believed they're
walking out uncovered, unprotected. Ladida attitude that the enemy is

glad to take advantage of one John five, starting verse eighteen.
We know that whoever is born of God does not sin.
But he who has been born of God keeps himself,
and the wicked one does not touch him. We know
that we are of God, and the whole world lies

under the sway of the wicked one, the wicked one
being Satan, but that represents the entire kingdom of darkness.
Don't fixate just on him. Understand the enormity of the
network of evil that he has, and as the God
of this world, he can blind the minds of unbelievers.

Matthew thirteen nineteen. When anyone hears the word of the
Kingdom but does not understand it, then the wicked one
comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.
This is he received the seed by the wayside. Just
because someone hears the word, maybe they might even pray
a prayer.

But unless it grows roots.

Deep inside of them and you help them to run
those roots deep, they're going to turn away. The enemy's
going to snatch it from them to circle ccumstance, through attack,
through tribulation, through lies, through persecution. It's very disconcerting to

share the Gospel with people that you know need it
and turn away from it because of the rejection they'll
experience or what others might think of them. Two Corinthians four,
starting verse three. But even if our gospel is veiled,
it has veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds
(26:31):
the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe.
Lest the light of the Gospel of the glory of Messiah,
who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Our effort, as we shine the light, is to help
set the captives free, to shine the light of the
(26:53):
Gospel of the Glory of Messiah. But we can't convince
people to come into the light. They have to choose
for themselves, and if they choose not to, we need
to move on. Otherwise the very next person who might
accept what you have to say will never hear it.

I know that sounds cold. I always thought in some
of the stories, the Lord just moved on. I found
that kind of cold. But then I understood I'm wasting
time with people that are never going to accept it
and taking time away from those who will. Unbelievers have
a barrier to overcome, and that barrier is the God
(27:36):
of this age, who has blinded their minds. Society has
blinded their minds. Entertainment and media and all these other
things has blinded their minds because of Satan's deception, because
of his hands upon these things, because of the poison
he puts out there. And sometimes what the world thinks,
(27:58):
especially about what we're talking about right now, they think
it's true, it's painfully wrong Proverbs fourteen twelve. There is
a way that seems right to a man, but its
end is the way of death. Many people that we
know that we care about are walking a path that's
(28:19):
leading them to death. It's going to lead them into
the darkness, separation from God. You know, I watched the
news not because I like the news, and I'm very
picky about what I watch to find out what's going
on in the world, what's happening, what's the enemy doing,
(28:40):
what are people thinking? What do I need to pray about?
And the one thing that keeps coming up is the
attitude in this world of calling evil good and good evil.
Isaiah five, verse twenty, the amplified versions says, woe. Judgment
is coming to those who call evil good and good evil,
(29:01):
whose substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who
substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Judgment is coming now.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Until it does, I'll be out there doing what I do,
preaching the gospel, setting the captives free. But he is
a righteous and a holy and a just God. So
no matter what we think, judgment is coming. Isaiah spoke
those words. At a similar time, spoke six woes of
(29:34):
judgment upon the sins of Israel and Judah. A nation
who sins against God will see his judgment, And I
don't care what nation we're talking about. First, John chapter three,
verse eight says he who sins is of the devil,
(29:55):
for the devil is in from the beginning. For this purpose,
the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy
the works of the devil, clearly telling us that the
works of the devil is sin, getting people to turn
their backs on God, getting people to rebel against his word,
(30:16):
getting people to reject his son.

But we know.

That God can turn what the devil intends for evil
into good. I'm a living example of that. He took
me out of the kingdom of darkness with everything I'd
ever learned, with everything i'd ever done, saved me, healed me,
delivered me, called me to work for him, and then
(30:47):
sent me against the very enemy that had trained me
and groomed me. So no matter what we do, we
should praise him and thank him. No matter what we're
going through at that moment, he will use for good.
As believers in the King of Kings and the Lord
(31:09):
of Lords, we are to stand firm and resist the devil,
and give no opportunity to him Ephesians four twenty seven.
Leave no such room or foothold for the devil, Give
no opportunity to him. Do not give any place to
(31:30):
the devil. Don't give any ground that he can stand
on or build on. The minute you see he's there,
kick his scanly butt off of whatever land or ground
he's taken. Covered in the blood. Stand fast in the faith,
in the power of the name of the Lord, and
be victorious. James four seven says, submit to God, resists
(31:55):
the devil, and he will flee from you.

There's a pattern.

Mission resistance, victory. But you have to do that near God.
You have to do that under his covering, under his word.
And we need to take advantage of the word. We
need to take advantage of what we've been given, the
power of this word. If you're caught in the midst

of a battle that you're taking on too many shots,
or you don't you don't understand what you're going to do,
pray Matthew six point thirteen. Do not lead us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is
the kingdom and the power and the glory. Forever I'm in.
Deliverance comes from the King of kings and the Lord
(32:45):
of lords. Deliverance comes from the Lord. Now in doing
all of this, if you picked up on it yet,
you're in a war. You're in a battle not just
for your soul, not just for your home, but for others.
We are a family, we are a collective, We are
a corporate entity. So we should be praying for one another.
(33:10):
We should care about one another when somebody goes through
something bad. We shouldn't offer criticism or recriminations. We should
offer prayer and love. Ephesian six to eleven. Put on
the whole armor of God, that you may be able
to stand against the wiles of the devil. That's the
(33:33):
first part of our warfare, standing against the wiles of
the devil, arming ourselves with this spiritual armor, in the
same way a Roman soldier was equipped for his physical warfare.
And the term wiles is the Greek word from which
we get method Satan has a method, the enemy has
(33:57):
a method, and the never agerative, so they tend to
do it the same way every time. But since it's
a plural word wiles, they get a lot to choose from.
They have a lot of buttons they can push, and
if they know which one of your buttons is the
most effective, like a bad piano player, they're just going
(34:20):
to keep pushing it.

Clink clink, clink clink.

We got to stop being like those little robot monkeys
and responding to it. So we need to arm ourselves
against the methods of the devil.

Now the word whiles.

The vines Complete Expository Dictionary says methodea denotes craft de

We should no longer be children tossed to and fro

and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the
trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.
That's what bad teaching does. That's what false teaching does.
That's what false preaching does. People get thrown about, Oh
I believe this, No, I believe that. Oh, this person
has said this. This person said that. If it doesn't

line up with the word ignored, I know I've said this.
It's a drum that I beat a lot. If I
give you a revelation, I line it up with scripture.
If it doesn't have scripture behind it, don't listen. So

those whiles the deceit is to lie in wait, to
use craftiness to capture you. Multiple schemes that they use
against the Church, different means, different plans, different ways to
deceive us, to entrap us, to enslave us, and to
(36:07):
ruin the souls of God's children. That's the time we're
living in right now. That's the seriousness of this time
and of this word. As I'm speaking to you at
this very moment, as you're listening, someone has just been deceived.
(36:29):
Someone has taken something they've seen on the internet as truth,
and it's not. Verse twelve of Phesian six. We do
not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
(36:49):
the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. These
are not flesh and blood entities. Though they use flesh
and blood, that's not who we are specif pacifically wrestling against.
And the only time this word wrestle is used in
the Greek poley p Ale refers to warfare, the warfare
(37:11):
between the saints and the demonic spirits who are against God.
This is the church's spiritual warfare with the enemy. And
the interesting thing, and I've taught about this before and
in the book the supernatural Battle. Poay comes from paulo,
(37:31):
which means to sway or to vibrate. Sometimes when we
pray and we war in prayer, if you get really
plugged in with the spirit, you may vibrate, you may
feel a humming. We have been given so many things,
(37:53):
so so many things to protect us in this fallen world.
We've been given so much help, His name, his Blood,
the Holy Spirit, this word. Yet why aren't more believers victorious?
Why aren't they living lives of victory? Why has the
(38:15):
enemy overcome them, beat them down, gotten them to retreat
or to live in fear. I'm not saying don't respect
their power and who they are. We should, But I'm
not in fear of them. I know who I am.
I know who I serve. Colossians one, starting verse sixteen,
(38:35):
tells me who I serve. For by Him all things
were created that are in heaven and that are on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers,
all things were created through Him and for him. And
He is before all things, and in him all things consists.
(39:01):
And he is the head of the body of the Church.
Who is the beginning, the first born from the dead,
that in all things he may have pre eminence as
the name above all names, as the one that was
there in the beginning with God, as the one who
spoke everything into existence, all things thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers, angelic, supernatural, human.
(39:25):
All things were created by Him, through him, and for him,
and he holds it together by his very nature. So
the superiority of our Lord over all created things, material
or immaterial, seen or unseen, was the focus of the
early Church in direct contradiction to the false teaching of
(39:49):
the day. And one of those false teachings they're attacking
with right here was gnosticism, which was an infecting presence
in the Colossian Church. See, the Gnostics believed that angelic
beings were the creator of the earth, and that Messiah
was just one of many of these angels Jesus that
(40:12):
sound familiar beings from another dimension or another place really
created us. H sounds like Gallian disclosure to me, just
an advanced form of gnosticism. Thrones, kingdoms, rulers, authorities in
the unseen world of the spiritual powers. We never forget
(40:37):
that Messiah is supreme, He's sovereign over all these things.
And the reason Paul was teaching that was to take
attention away from these false teachers of the day that
were inspiring the worship of angels. If there's one teaching
(40:58):
that always riles me up. Is the worship or the
over focus on angels. Why do I need to talk
to angels. I can talk to the Lord.

Now.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
He may send an angel to give me a message,
but that's really not necessary because I'm plugged into the
throne room. He'll speak to me on his own. So
in that area, we've been given four kinds of spirit rebels.
In the Greek arcus principalities, the chief rulers, or beings
of the highest rank and order in Satan's kingdom. I'd
(41:33):
call these the princes of a principality, and they have
the Greek exusius, the authorities, those who derive their power
from and execute the will of the chief rulers. The
next level down underneath the princes. Third, we have the
cosmo coreturus, the world rulers of the darkness of this
(41:59):
age spirit world rulers over smaller areas, not complete principalities
over communities, over cities, all underneath the other two levels.
And then finally we have the pneumonica spiritual wickedness. Those
are the wicked spirits of Satan in the heavenlies. I
(42:24):
brought this to you so that you can understand Paul's
being very specific here. He's going into detail about the
threat to the church. Do you think we should ignore it?
Do you think we should demean it or say it's unimportant? Oh,
(42:46):
that doesn't apply to now. So what did they do?
They all went away, they moved, they quit their jobs
and went to the Caribbean. What did they do? No,
they're still there. And we can see how certain cities
have certain crimes. And you could easily say, well, that's
based on the ethnic background. Who's inspiring those people to
(43:07):
do what they do? Why does one place do this
in another place do that? Here's your answer Colossians two,
verses nine to ten. For in him capital Hyashua dwells
all the fullness of the godhead bodily, and you are
complete in Him, who is what, the head of all
(43:31):
principality and power. Daniel talks about these principalities and the
powers in Daniel's en. When the angel Gabriel finally shows
up to him with the message, he says, do not
fear Daniel, for from the first day you set your
heart to understand and to humble yourself before God. Your
(43:54):
words were heard, and I have come because of yours.
But the prince of the Kingdom of Persia current day Iran,
which stood me twenty one days. And behold, Michael, one
of the chief princes of Israel, came to help me,
for I had been left alone there with the of Persia,
(44:22):
and I don't have it here. But when he leaves,
he talks about the king of Greece that he's going
to have to battle his way through that. So every area,
and I go into great detail in the book, every
area has their own prince, their own power, of their
own ruling entity. Why is God telling us this? Why
(44:44):
from the Old Testament to the New Testament is he
giving us a glimpse into that world in Daniels when
we hear about the watchers for the first time.

And yet.

In the negotiation for the books of the Bible, the
Book of Enoch was taken out so that Peter and
I think Jude could be left in. But Enoch first,
Enoch specifically, would have explained all this in great detail.
Why has this been held from us? Why have our
(45:21):
eyes been clouded so that we really don't understand. They
want us to battle with humans, They want us to
fight with each other, not understanding that the battle is here,
it's not terrestrial, it's extra terrestrial. It's above Ephesians one,
verse three. The amplified Paul says, may blessing praise be
(45:46):
to the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus, the Messiah,
who has blessed us in Messiah with every spiritual given
by the Holy Spirit, blessing in the heavenly realm. We
hear me pray about the heaven les. You let me
talk about the heavenlies. That's the atmospheric realm just above
(46:08):
the earth, with these demonic entities reside according to what
I believe in what I teach, we have the heavenlies,
then we have the second level of heaven, where the
angelic the ones that serve God reside or work from.
And then we have the third heaven, where Paradise in
(46:28):
the Throne room is. Paul refers to that second Corinthians twelve,
starting verse two. I know a man in Messiah who
fourteen years ago, whether in the body I do not know,
or out of the body, and this is before his
missionary journeys. He says, out of the body, I don't know.
(46:49):
Only God knows. So he's in a vision, he's having
an Now he's having an experience. Such a man was
caught up to the Third Heaven. And I know that
such a man, whether in the body or out of
the body, I do not know. Only God knows, was
caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words which man
(47:13):
is not permitted to speak, words to sacred to tell.
So Paul's telling us there's a third Heaven, and that's
where Paradise is, where the dwelling place of the Lord is,
the place that the Lord told the thief on the
cross in lou twenty three, forty three that he'd be
going with him that day. He'd be with him that
(47:34):
day in Paradise, taking him straight up to the Third
Heaven with him. Over and over and over. As I
worked on this, and I know this topic, I kept
seeing more and more than I'd ever seen before, This
picture of the supernatural realm, of the heavenly realm, that
(47:58):
demonic realm, the angelic way, all those things that are
around us at all times. It's being talked about from
Genesis to Revelation. So why do we ignore it? Why
aren't we being taught it? Why aren't we being shown
how to exist and overcome in it? I'll tell you why,
(48:22):
because it's what the enemy wants. He doesn't want a trained, prepared,
knowledgeable adversary. No, no, no, he wants some dumb down.
He wants the weapons taken from their Handsphesians one three,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Messiah,
(48:43):
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Where in
the heavenly places in Messiah. He starts out Ephesians, talking
about that very thing, the heavenly places. Then he goes
on in chapter one, in verse eighteen, he prays for them,
the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that you may
(49:05):
know what is the hope of his calling, What are
the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward
us who believe according to the working of his mighty power,
which he worked in Messiah when he raised them from
(49:25):
the dead and seated him at his right hand in
the heavenly places. Far above all principality and power, and
might and dominion in every name that is named, not
only in this age, but also in that which is
to come. This is the focus of Ephesians pertaining to
(49:52):
what is in heaven and to all the beings and things,
animate and inanimate that are above the earth, all the
things that are natural and supernatural. He is far above them. Jesus,
you shure his power and his authority delegated to us.
That authority transcends all of the rival powers of the enemy,
(50:18):
not only in this age, but in the age to come.
The Church should always have walked in this, We should
have lived this, we should be doing it right now.
But because so few of us do, it allows the
enemy to focus on those of us that walk in
this power and walk in this authority, when the enemy
(50:38):
should be fighting so many fights on so many fronts
that couldn't focus on any one person. Gee, Richard, why
are you so passionate about this? Because I've seen what
happens when you ignore this. I've seen the casualties. I've
seen the families destroyed, the marriages rod, I've seen lives
(51:02):
cut short because of ignorance, because of realizing that you
have the power, you have the authority, you have the
ability to walk in this world under His protection. And
the disciples, they kept trying to get the Church to
(51:23):
hear it one p to three, starting verse eighteen. For
Messiah suffered once for sins the just for the unjust,
and that he might bring us to God, being put
to death in the flesh, but being made alive by
the spirit, by whom also he went and preached to
the spirits in prison, who formerly with disobedience. When once
(51:47):
the divine long suffering waited in the days of Noah,
while the ark was being prepared, in which a few
eight souls were saved through water, there was also a
type which now saves us baptism, not the removal of
the filth of the flesh, but the answer of good
(52:08):
conscience towards God through the resurrection of Jesus, the Messiah,
who has gone into Heaven and is at the right
hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been
made subject to him. What's Peter talking about there? Remember
I said in the negotiations for the Bible, two books
(52:31):
got heeded that some didn't want Peter because he talks
about those that are in the pit, that are in
the prison, that did what they did. In Genesis six
and then in Jude, which I'll show you in a second.
All things natural and supernatural are subject to his rule,
(52:53):
including those things in the pit, the ones that went
down into the pit. Nelson's Study Bible expands upon this.
The Greek term translated spirits can refer to human spirits, angels,
or demons, and there are multiple interpretations. Some interpret these
(53:17):
verses as I do, describing Issue as going to the
place where the fallen angels are incarcerated and declaring his
victory over evil in his work of the Cross. Some
suggest that Peter's referring to the days of Noah because
of the fallen angels were typified by the gross and
(53:38):
morality of those spirits who married human women at the time.
In Genesis six, Sons of God, the benehau Luhim went
into the daughters of Adam and created a race of
giants the Nephel. Jude talks about Jude verses five and six.
(54:00):
But I want to remind you, though you once knew this,
that the Lord, having saved the people out of the
land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe,
and the angels who did not keep their proper domain,
but left their own abode. He has reserved in everlasting
chains under darkness for judgment of the great day they
(54:25):
left their abode. They were never supposed to breed procreate,
they were supposed to have sexual interactions with humans, but
for whatever reason they did. The twenty leaders of the
two hundred watchers that came down on Mount Hermon decided
that they were going to do that, and they got
(54:46):
put into the pit because of it. And Yashua went
down and preached his victory over sin and death. He
took the keys of hell and death. Everyone who was
inn Hades or Shiel who died without the Lord saw
him and heard this. That's why he first went down,
(55:07):
before he went up, taking captivity captive, preaching victory in
the name of Jesus. And before you get confused, there
was no offer of a second chance of salvation while
he was there, as some would tell you. Philippians two
verses nine to eleven gives us a hint of this. Therefore,
(55:32):
God also has highly exalted him and given him the
name which is above every name, that at the name
of Jesus, the name of Yeshia, every knee should bow,
of those in heaven and those on earth and those
under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that
(55:56):
Jesus's Lord, to the cloy of God, the Father, every nieceingular,
bending your knee in submission to the King. It doesn't
matter who they are. If they haven't done it yet,
they will. I was always one of my favorite scriptures
in Deliverance that really frustrated them to be reminded of that.
(56:19):
So the sphere of activity or existence that I'm referring
to here that the word is referring to, is above
the earth, principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness
of this age, spiritual host of wickedness. Where in the
heavenly places? Now, what are we supposed to do in
(56:42):
the face of this? Ephesians six point fourteen tells me Stand, therefore,
having girded your waste with truth, having put on the
breastplate of righteousness, stand therefore, standing against the schemes of
the enemy. Don't back up, don't fall Downstand. And the
(57:05):
soldiers of that day would secure their armor with the
belts from which hung strips of leather to protect the
lower body, but still allow them to move. See, truth
is crucial. It's crucial because the dishonest believer cannot hope
(57:30):
to withstand the Father of lies, the deceits and the
wiles truth, integrity, a life of practicing honesty. The Believer's
Study Bible says the phrase having girded refers to the
way a soldier or laborer in the first century would
(57:52):
draw his long, loose fitting undergarment up between his knees
and tuck it into his belt, so that he might
run or work unhindered by the garment, which might otherwise
cause him to stumble or be hurt. Living an honest,
transparent life, according to the Truth, plays a similar role
in a believer's walk and service. And what's that holding
(58:15):
in place? The breastplate, of the breastplate of the Roman
times went completely around the body, so that the back
of the warrior was also protected. So you had a
front and a back made out of hard leather a metal,
and it was held together by this belt. And the
righteousness that the breastplate represents is the righteousness delegated to
(58:42):
us by the Lord, which allows us to have a
righteous character.

And how do I know he has that? Well?
Speaker 1 (58:52):
The prophet Isaiah tells me Isaiah fifteen nine seventeen about
the Redeemer of Zion, For he puts on righteousness as
a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on his head.
He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and
he was clad with zeal as a cloak. Whenever I
(59:15):
picture the armor going on, I always put the cloak
of zeal. Then what we do Ephesian six point fifteen.
Having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel
of Peace, so now we're going to take it somewhere.
We're going to go somewhere with this Isaiah fifty two,
(59:36):
verse seven. How beautiful upon the mountains or the feet
of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who
brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaim salvation, who says, desion,
your God reigns. Interesting. Vine's Expository Dictionary tells me the
(59:56):
word preparation denotes ready, the readiness, the preparation of the
Gospel of Peace. It's the firm footing. It's the foundation,
which is another word of the Gospel upon which we stand.
It makes our walk worthy of it and furthers our
(01:00:19):
testimony in it. That's the foundation we're building upon. And
this may mean either that the Gospel is the firm
foundation in which believers are to stand, or that the
Christian soldier should be ready to go out and defend
(01:00:39):
and spread the Gospel governed by the Lord's supernatural peace.
When the days are evil, Hacatan Satan brings doubt and
rebellion and death. But the whole Gospel, from Korea to
(01:01:00):
redemption to consummation, brings what it brings assurance and peace
and life. And there's only one source of this peace,
the Prince of Peace. Everybody wants peace. I want to
negotiate peace. How you negotiate peace with people that have
(01:01:22):
never kept in agreement or or are demonically possessed is impossible.

It's beyond me.

First, Thessalonians five verse three, while they are saying peace
and safety, all is well and secure, than a moment,
unforeseen destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains
on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape,
for there will be no way to escape the judgment
of the Lord. Jeremiah and Ezekiel all for prophets talking
(01:01:54):
about peace peace. When they say peace peace, sudden destruction
will come. God's judgment will come. It will happen, doesn't
matter what I think, doesn't matter what you think. God's
judgment will happen, but be assured and be comforted because
we have peace through his blood. He has made a
(01:02:17):
way of escape for us when the days are evil.
I'm going to stop here. Too much to cover. We'll

thank you for peace, Thank you for protecting us, thank

you for loving us, thank you for choosing us. Thank
you for this word, for the ability to connect using
the technology that the enemy uses so well, for your kingdom. Now, Lord,

I pray that you would take what has been said,
what has been heard, and magnified, edified, expand upon it,
bring revelation to my brothers and sisters, bring answers to
their questions that they might have, and begin to speak
to them about their calling and what it is that

you would have them do, prayer, spiritual wars, whether they're
going to go out and do or whether they're going
to battle from their knees in their home, whatever it is. Lord,
you are the commander. You're the captain of the host,

and there's none like you. Everything you say, everything you do,
it's true and it's holy and it's right, and it's
just give us this ability in this day in these evil,
evil days. Lord give us this ability to take this
gospel and set the captives free. Thank you, thank you,

Pray for America. Pray that God would forgive us and

we need leaders that will honor the word of God
and live accordingly. I pray for the people in Iran

right now who are feeling let down and abandoned and
are being slaughtered by the regime that's there, and it's unfair,
not justice. So I pray that God would intervene on
their behalf, and I pray that we would do what

we're supposed to do in regard to that. Most of
all to pray for them, I pray for the fatherless,
the widows that persecuted, and the martyrd the innocence those
who are victims of injustice. I pray against the slaughter
of the innocent, both in and out of the womb,
for the missing and exploited children, for those who are
victims of human sex, trafficking, and satanic endeavor, if ever

there was one. I pray for our brothers and sisters
around the world being persecuted and slaughtered for their faith.
The growing religious persecution going on in the world and
the anti Semitism clearly is the work of the spirit
of the Antichrist, So we should be praying against that
interceding pushing back. Pray for divine wholeness, health and healing

and each and every one of us, every one of
us that need it in our homes, our families, or
even our paths. Divine wholeness, health and healing in your
Shoea's name. I pray for his protection that Psalm ninety
one covering to be upon us, and for the inspiration
and the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Lord is going to be one of the more important
ones I've ever done. Last week we talked to Phesians
five verses fifteen and sixteen. We mentioned it, but it's
what I'm building upon. See then, that you walk circumspence actly,
not as fools, but as wise redeeming the time, because

the days are evil, making the very most of your
time on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity
and using it with wisdom and diligence. Because the days
are filled with evil, We're living in evil times, evil days.

We cannot ignore that. If you put your head in
the sand, it doesn't change that making the most of
our time to do what share the gospel, make disciples,
get them baptized, do what needs to be done before
the return of the Lord. I know many, and I

don't think any of you, but many people I meet
who claim to be believers have this attitude of all,
I don't have to do any of that, It's all
been done. I'm just going to hang out till my
ride shows up. Well, I guess you could do that,
but not only are you going to miss out on
a lot, it's not going to please him because that

kind of attitude doesn't line up with the word. The
Nelson Study Bible says redeeming the time means taking advantage
of opportunities for service. We each have a limited amount
of time on this earth. Paul exhorts us to use
as much of that time as possible for advancing the
(09:42):
Lord's purposes in this world. Once you became born again,
once you made your show it Jesus your Lord and Savior,
and you were translated into the kingdom of God's Son,
he became a part of a business, if you will,
(10:04):
a job, an effort, a calling, and none of that
includes sitting on your spiritual cushions. The Life Application Bible
Commentary says uses the quote be very careful than how
you live, not as unwise, but as wise, making the
most of every opportunity.

of the light and to expose evil by our behavior,
by our being the light of the world. And we
have to be careful how we live Ephesians five, verses
eight through eleven. For you, you and I were once darkness,
(10:50):
but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as
children of the light. For the fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth, finding out what
is acceptable.

To the Lord.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them. How do you expose them? By
the light of the Lord in you and by how
you walk? Our lives must please God. So we must
conduct ourselves in front of unbelievers to shine the Lord,

to shine his glory, to shine the Gospel, and to
draw others to Him because they're in darkness, whether they
know it or not. Paul encourage believers to live not
as unwise, but as wise. In other words, they must
take their knowledge of Messiah and apply it to their
everyday lives, and especially be aware of their conduct with unbelievers.
(11:50):
We should always be concerned with our witness. Yes, sometimes
mistakes are made. Sometimes time circumstances get the better of us.
We need to repent, and we need to cover it
in the blood so that the enemy can't take advantage
of it. But we have to walk carefully, diligently. The
(12:15):
great phrase from making the most of every opportunity conveys
the idea of buying from time, or as it says,
redeeming the time, carefully using our time to do for
opportunities to do good. Galatians six ten tells us, therefore,
as we have opportunity, let us do good to all,
(12:38):
but especially to those who are the household of faith.
If we can, we should. This implies that we should
not allow ourselves to be controlled by our circumstances, but
rather we should make use of time as a valuable
commodity or a resources. Valuable. Your time is valuable, My
(13:02):
time is valuable, and it should be used to further
the kingdom, whether in prayer, whether through actions, whether through finances,
whatever it is. We should be doing something because the
days are evil and Paul's sense of urgency was because
(13:23):
of the evil pervasiveness of his day. I wonder what
he would think about today. He would be shocked, in
my opinion, that the Church hasn't done more. He would
be shocked how easy it is for the enemy to
do what they do. The reason I say that because
I know I'm shocked. But throughout the entire scriptures, throughout
(13:48):
the writings, throughout the sayings, it was always pointing to
be awake, be aware, don't be careless. Romans Chapter one
talks about a an evil time. I'm only going to
pick it up from verse twenty eight, and as I
read this, I want you to think about how it
(14:08):
applies to the here and now. And even as they
did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a debased mind to do things
which are not fitting. Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual, immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness,
(14:30):
full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness. They are whisperers, backbiters,
haters of God, violent, proud boasters, inventors of evil things,
disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful, who knowing
(14:57):
the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such
things are deserving of death. Not only do they do
the same, but also approve of those who practice them.
That's society today. This dark list of sins that I
just read to you characterizes humanity's alienation from God. They
(15:22):
have chosen to turn away from God. And these aren't
just sins they're dabbling in. No, no, no, They're full
of them. They're fully committed to doing these things. And
because of that, you and I are called to walk
about watching on every hand, to avoid danger and enemies,
(15:45):
and to live the Gospel through our conduct. Look what
it says in Galatians chapter one, verses three through five.
Paul says, grace to you and peace from God, the
Father of Lord, Jesus, the Messiah, who gave himself for
our sins, that he might deliver us from this present
(16:07):
evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be glory forever and ever. I'm at this
present evil age. That word age is aon. This present
age is an evil one, and the Lord died to
deliver us from it. And the Word of God is transcendent,
(16:28):
and it transcends time. So as it was just as
appropriate then it's even more so now. And the word
deliver he might deliver us from That word delivered refers
to the sanctification in the face of the temptations of
(16:49):
this present age.

That's why Paul and Peter, and James and John, that's
why they're writing with their writing to encourage us to
cheer us on, to bring us forward in the faith.
Colautions four, starting verse two, continue earnestly in prayer, being
vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Meanwhile, praying also for us

that God would open to us a door for the
Word to speak the mystery of Messiah, for which I
am also in chains, that I make it manifest as
I ought to speak.

Walk in wisdom towards those who are outside, redeeming the

the world, and how we act and what we do
could determine a person's choice today. So when we resist
against evil, and we redeem the time. Who we or

what are we resisting against?

The enemy.

Kingdom of darkness, Satan, the fallen Angel, their demonic offspring.
That's who we're resisting against, which takes us to where
we're going to focus this week and next week. A
phees in six, starting verse ten. Finally, my brethren, be

strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may
be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the
(19:05):
heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day. And,
having done all, to stand again right there in the
evil day verse fourteen, stand therefore, having girded your waste
(19:27):
with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, having
shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace,
above all taking the shield of faith with which you'll
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication
for all the saints and for me. Paul says that
utterance may be given to me, that I may open
my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel.

Three times Paul calls for believers to stand against the
devil's schemes, and this spiritual battle takes place against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. The New Living
Translation Study Bible says the New Testament writers were convinced
(20:36):
of the reality of evil and the dangers of the
spiritual world, so they took Satan the evil one. The
devil seriously is a real threat, and so should we,
because the devil inhibits the works of God's people one
Thessalonians to eighteen. Therefore, we wanted to come to you,
(20:56):
even I Paul time and again, but Satan hindered us. Well,
if you think he did that to Paul and to
the other disciples, what do you think he's going to
do to you? Revelation two ten says, do not fear
any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed,
the devil is about to throw some of you in prison,
(21:19):
that you may be tested, and you may have tribulation
ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give
you the crown of life. That's what evil days are like.
There will be persecution, there will be struggles, there will
be attacks. But greater is he that is in us
(21:40):
than he that is in the world. And we are
overcomers through his blood, by his name. But Satan prowls
around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour,
to tear apart one Peter five A be well balanced, temperate,
sober of mind, Be vigilant and cautious at all times
(22:03):
for that enemy of yours. The devil rooms about like
a roaring lion in fierce hunger, seeking someone to seize
upon and devour. I have only shared with you a
handful of scriptures that refer to this. Do you think
that they thought that there was a threat out there?
Do you think that they thought that the Church would
(22:25):
suffer because of us being in a fallen world? It
was warning us about the God of this world. Satan
and what he would do and how he would do it,
and what we would experience. Even the Lord did so
in Matthew twenty four Luke twenty one about the signs
of the times? How do we ignore this? How does
(22:48):
the majority of the church ignore what I'm talking about
right now? If you are honest with yourself, how many
of you pay attention to these things? You might have
the attitude that some do. What's all been done for me,
The victory's been done. I'm immune. But that's not what
(23:09):
the word says. And we're seeing our brothers and sisters
around the world suffering because they're not immune from it either.
The entire unbelieving world is subject to the power of
sin and the power of the devil. Ephesian, Chapter two,
(23:29):
verses one and two. This is the amplified and you
he made alive when you were dead, slain by your
trespasses and sins in which at one time you walked habitually.
You were following the course and fashion of the world,
were under the sway of the tendency of this present age,
(23:50):
following the prince of the power of the air. You
were obedient to and under the control of the demons
spirit that still constantly works, and the sons of disobedience,
the careless, rebellious, and unbelieving, who go against the purposes
of God. It hurts my heart sometimes to see how
(24:12):
many of my brothers and sisters are being victimized by
their own ignorance, by the lack of teaching or bad
teaching that they have subjected themselves to and believed they're
walking out uncovered, unprotected. Ladida attitude that the enemy is
(24:35):
glad to take advantage of one John five, starting verse eighteen.
We know that whoever is born of God does not sin.
But he who has been born of God keeps himself,
and the wicked one does not touch him. We know
that we are of God, and the whole world lies
(24:58):
under the sway of the wicked one, the wicked one
being Satan, but that represents the entire kingdom of darkness.
Don't fixate just on him. Understand the enormity of the
network of evil that he has, and as the God
of this world, he can blind the minds of unbelievers.
(25:21):
Matthew thirteen nineteen. When anyone hears the word of the
Kingdom but does not understand it, then the wicked one
comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart.
This is he received the seed by the wayside. Just
because someone hears the word, maybe they might even pray
a prayer.

But unless it grows roots.

Deep inside of them and you help them to run
those roots deep, they're going to turn away. The enemy's
going to snatch it from them to circle ccumstance, through attack,
through tribulation, through lies, through persecution. It's very disconcerting to
(26:10):
share the Gospel with people that you know need it
and turn away from it because of the rejection they'll
experience or what others might think of them. Two Corinthians four,
starting verse three. But even if our gospel is veiled,
it has veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds
(26:31):
the God of this age has blinded, who do not believe.
Lest the light of the Gospel of the glory of Messiah,
who is the image of God, should shine on them.
Our effort, as we shine the light, is to help
set the captives free, to shine the light of the
(26:53):
Gospel of the Glory of Messiah. But we can't convince
people to come into the light. They have to choose
for themselves, and if they choose not to, we need
to move on. Otherwise the very next person who might
accept what you have to say will never hear it.
(27:14):
I know that sounds cold. I always thought in some
of the stories, the Lord just moved on. I found
that kind of cold. But then I understood I'm wasting
time with people that are never going to accept it
and taking time away from those who will. Unbelievers have
a barrier to overcome, and that barrier is the God
(27:36):
of this age, who has blinded their minds. Society has
blinded their minds. Entertainment and media and all these other
things has blinded their minds because of Satan's deception, because
of his hands upon these things, because of the poison
he puts out there. And sometimes what the world thinks,
(27:58):
especially about what we're talking about right now, they think
it's true, it's painfully wrong Proverbs fourteen twelve. There is
a way that seems right to a man, but its
end is the way of death. Many people that we
know that we care about are walking a path that's
(28:19):
leading them to death. It's going to lead them into
the darkness, separation from God. You know, I watched the
news not because I like the news, and I'm very
picky about what I watch to find out what's going
on in the world, what's happening, what's the enemy doing,
(28:40):
what are people thinking? What do I need to pray about?
And the one thing that keeps coming up is the
attitude in this world of calling evil good and good evil.
Isaiah five, verse twenty, the amplified versions says, woe. Judgment
is coming to those who call evil good and good evil,
(29:01):
whose substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who
substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Judgment is coming now.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Until it does, I'll be out there doing what I do,
preaching the gospel, setting the captives free. But he is
a righteous and a holy and a just God. So
no matter what we think, judgment is coming. Isaiah spoke
those words. At a similar time, spoke six woes of
(29:34):
judgment upon the sins of Israel and Judah. A nation
who sins against God will see his judgment, And I
don't care what nation we're talking about. First, John chapter three,
verse eight says he who sins is of the devil,
(29:55):
for the devil is in from the beginning. For this purpose,
the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy
the works of the devil, clearly telling us that the
works of the devil is sin, getting people to turn
their backs on God, getting people to rebel against his word,
(30:16):
getting people to reject his son.

But we know.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
That God can turn what the devil intends for evil
into good. I'm a living example of that. He took
me out of the kingdom of darkness with everything I'd
ever learned, with everything i'd ever done, saved me, healed me,
delivered me, called me to work for him, and then
(30:47):
sent me against the very enemy that had trained me
and groomed me. So no matter what we do, we
should praise him and thank him. No matter what we're
going through at that moment, he will use for good.
As believers in the King of Kings and the Lord
(31:09):
of Lords, we are to stand firm and resist the devil,
and give no opportunity to him Ephesians four twenty seven.
Leave no such room or foothold for the devil, Give
no opportunity to him. Do not give any place to
(31:30):
the devil. Don't give any ground that he can stand
on or build on. The minute you see he's there,
kick his scanly butt off of whatever land or ground
he's taken. Covered in the blood. Stand fast in the faith,
in the power of the name of the Lord, and
be victorious. James four seven says, submit to God, resists
(31:55):
the devil, and he will flee from you.

There's a pattern.

Mission resistance, victory. But you have to do that near God.
You have to do that under his covering, under his word.
And we need to take advantage of the word. We
need to take advantage of what we've been given, the
power of this word. If you're caught in the midst
(32:23):
of a battle that you're taking on too many shots,
or you don't you don't understand what you're going to do,
pray Matthew six point thirteen. Do not lead us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is
the kingdom and the power and the glory. Forever I'm in.
Deliverance comes from the King of kings and the Lord
(32:45):
of lords. Deliverance comes from the Lord. Now in doing
all of this, if you picked up on it yet,
you're in a war. You're in a battle not just
for your soul, not just for your home, but for others.
We are a family, we are a collective, We are
a corporate entity. So we should be praying for one another.
(33:10):
We should care about one another when somebody goes through
something bad. We shouldn't offer criticism or recriminations. We should
offer prayer and love. Ephesian six to eleven. Put on
the whole armor of God, that you may be able
to stand against the wiles of the devil. That's the
(33:33):
first part of our warfare, standing against the wiles of
the devil, arming ourselves with this spiritual armor, in the
same way a Roman soldier was equipped for his physical warfare.
And the term wiles is the Greek word from which
we get method Satan has a method, the enemy has
(33:57):
a method, and the never agerative, so they tend to
do it the same way every time. But since it's
a plural word wiles, they get a lot to choose from.
They have a lot of buttons they can push, and
if they know which one of your buttons is the
most effective, like a bad piano player, they're just going
(34:20):
to keep pushing it.

We got to stop being like those little robot monkeys
and responding to it. So we need to arm ourselves
against the methods of the devil.

Now the word whiles.

The vines Complete Expository Dictionary says methodea denotes craft de
seat away, a cunning device error Phesian four to fourteen.
We should no longer be children tossed to and fro
(35:02):
and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the
trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting.
That's what bad teaching does. That's what false teaching does.
That's what false preaching does. People get thrown about, Oh
I believe this, No, I believe that. Oh, this person
has said this. This person said that. If it doesn't
(35:24):
line up with the word ignored, I know I've said this.
It's a drum that I beat a lot. If I
give you a revelation, I line it up with scripture.
If it doesn't have scripture behind it, don't listen. So
(35:46):
those whiles the deceit is to lie in wait, to
use craftiness to capture you. Multiple schemes that they use
against the Church, different means, different plans, different ways to
deceive us, to entrap us, to enslave us, and to
(36:07):
ruin the souls of God's children. That's the time we're
living in right now. That's the seriousness of this time
and of this word. As I'm speaking to you at
this very moment, as you're listening, someone has just been deceived.
(36:29):
Someone has taken something they've seen on the internet as truth,
and it's not. Verse twelve of Phesian six. We do
not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
(36:49):
the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. These
are not flesh and blood entities. Though they use flesh
and blood, that's not who we are specif pacifically wrestling against.
And the only time this word wrestle is used in
the Greek poley p Ale refers to warfare, the warfare
(37:11):
between the saints and the demonic spirits who are against God.
This is the church's spiritual warfare with the enemy. And
the interesting thing, and I've taught about this before and
in the book the supernatural Battle. Poay comes from paulo,
(37:31):
which means to sway or to vibrate. Sometimes when we
pray and we war in prayer, if you get really
plugged in with the spirit, you may vibrate, you may
feel a humming. We have been given so many things,
(37:53):
so so many things to protect us in this fallen world.
We've been given so much help, His name, his Blood,
the Holy Spirit, this word. Yet why aren't more believers victorious?
Why aren't they living lives of victory? Why has the
(38:15):
enemy overcome them, beat them down, gotten them to retreat
or to live in fear. I'm not saying don't respect
their power and who they are. We should, But I'm
not in fear of them. I know who I am.
I know who I serve. Colossians one, starting verse sixteen,
(38:35):
tells me who I serve. For by Him all things
were created that are in heaven and that are on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers,
all things were created through Him and for him. And
He is before all things, and in him all things consists.
(39:01):
And he is the head of the body of the Church.
Who is the beginning, the first born from the dead,
that in all things he may have pre eminence as
the name above all names, as the one that was
there in the beginning with God, as the one who
spoke everything into existence, all things thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers, angelic, supernatural, human.
(39:25):
All things were created by Him, through him, and for him,
and he holds it together by his very nature. So
the superiority of our Lord over all created things, material
or immaterial, seen or unseen, was the focus of the
early Church in direct contradiction to the false teaching of
(39:49):
the day. And one of those false teachings they're attacking
with right here was gnosticism, which was an infecting presence
in the Colossian Church. See, the Gnostics believed that angelic
beings were the creator of the earth, and that Messiah
was just one of many of these angels Jesus that
(40:12):
sound familiar beings from another dimension or another place really
created us. H sounds like Gallian disclosure to me, just
an advanced form of gnosticism. Thrones, kingdoms, rulers, authorities in
the unseen world of the spiritual powers. We never forget
(40:37):
that Messiah is supreme, He's sovereign over all these things.
And the reason Paul was teaching that was to take
attention away from these false teachers of the day that
were inspiring the worship of angels. If there's one teaching
(40:58):
that always riles me up. Is the worship or the
over focus on angels. Why do I need to talk
to angels. I can talk to the Lord.

He may send an angel to give me a message,
but that's really not necessary because I'm plugged into the
throne room. He'll speak to me on his own. So
in that area, we've been given four kinds of spirit rebels.
In the Greek arcus principalities, the chief rulers, or beings
of the highest rank and order in Satan's kingdom. I'd
(41:33):
call these the princes of a principality, and they have
the Greek exusius, the authorities, those who derive their power
from and execute the will of the chief rulers. The
next level down underneath the princes. Third, we have the
cosmo coreturus, the world rulers of the darkness of this
(41:59):
age spirit world rulers over smaller areas, not complete principalities
over communities, over cities, all underneath the other two levels.
And then finally we have the pneumonica spiritual wickedness. Those
are the wicked spirits of Satan in the heavenlies. I
(42:24):
brought this to you so that you can understand Paul's
being very specific here. He's going into detail about the
threat to the church. Do you think we should ignore it?
Do you think we should demean it or say it's unimportant? Oh,
(42:46):
that doesn't apply to now. So what did they do?
They all went away, they moved, they quit their jobs
and went to the Caribbean. What did they do? No,
they're still there. And we can see how certain cities
have certain crimes. And you could easily say, well, that's
based on the ethnic background. Who's inspiring those people to
(43:07):
do what they do? Why does one place do this
in another place do that? Here's your answer Colossians two,
verses nine to ten. For in him capital Hyashua dwells
all the fullness of the godhead bodily, and you are
complete in Him, who is what, the head of all
(43:31):
principality and power. Daniel talks about these principalities and the
powers in Daniel's en. When the angel Gabriel finally shows
up to him with the message, he says, do not
fear Daniel, for from the first day you set your
heart to understand and to humble yourself before God. Your
(43:54):
words were heard, and I have come because of yours.
But the prince of the Kingdom of Persia current day Iran,
which stood me twenty one days. And behold, Michael, one
of the chief princes of Israel, came to help me,
for I had been left alone there with the of Persia,
(44:22):
and I don't have it here. But when he leaves,
he talks about the king of Greece that he's going
to have to battle his way through that. So every area,
and I go into great detail in the book, every
area has their own prince, their own power, of their
own ruling entity. Why is God telling us this? Why
(44:44):
from the Old Testament to the New Testament is he
giving us a glimpse into that world in Daniels when
we hear about the watchers for the first time.

And yet.

In the negotiation for the books of the Bible, the
Book of Enoch was taken out so that Peter and
I think Jude could be left in. But Enoch first,
Enoch specifically, would have explained all this in great detail.
Why has this been held from us? Why have our
(45:21):
eyes been clouded so that we really don't understand. They
want us to battle with humans, They want us to
fight with each other, not understanding that the battle is here,
it's not terrestrial, it's extra terrestrial. It's above Ephesians one,
verse three. The amplified Paul says, may blessing praise be
(45:46):
to the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus, the Messiah,
who has blessed us in Messiah with every spiritual given
by the Holy Spirit, blessing in the heavenly realm. We
hear me pray about the heaven les. You let me
talk about the heavenlies. That's the atmospheric realm just above
(46:08):
the earth, with these demonic entities reside according to what
I believe in what I teach, we have the heavenlies,
then we have the second level of heaven, where the
angelic the ones that serve God reside or work from.
And then we have the third heaven, where Paradise in
(46:28):
the Throne room is. Paul refers to that second Corinthians twelve,
starting verse two. I know a man in Messiah who
fourteen years ago, whether in the body I do not know,
or out of the body, and this is before his
missionary journeys. He says, out of the body, I don't know.
(46:49):
Only God knows. So he's in a vision, he's having
an Now he's having an experience. Such a man was
caught up to the Third Heaven. And I know that
such a man, whether in the body or out of
the body, I do not know. Only God knows, was
caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words which man
(47:13):
is not permitted to speak, words to sacred to tell.
So Paul's telling us there's a third Heaven, and that's
where Paradise is, where the dwelling place of the Lord is,
the place that the Lord told the thief on the
cross in lou twenty three, forty three that he'd be
going with him that day. He'd be with him that
(47:34):
day in Paradise, taking him straight up to the Third
Heaven with him. Over and over and over. As I
worked on this, and I know this topic, I kept
seeing more and more than I'd ever seen before, This
picture of the supernatural realm, of the heavenly realm, that
(47:58):
demonic realm, the angelic way, all those things that are
around us at all times. It's being talked about from
Genesis to Revelation. So why do we ignore it? Why
aren't we being taught it? Why aren't we being shown
how to exist and overcome in it? I'll tell you why,
(48:22):
because it's what the enemy wants. He doesn't want a trained, prepared,
knowledgeable adversary. No, no, no, he wants some dumb down.
He wants the weapons taken from their Handsphesians one three,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Messiah,
(48:43):
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. Where in
the heavenly places in Messiah. He starts out Ephesians, talking
about that very thing, the heavenly places. Then he goes
on in chapter one, in verse eighteen, he prays for them,
the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that you may
(49:05):
know what is the hope of his calling, What are
the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward
us who believe according to the working of his mighty power,
which he worked in Messiah when he raised them from
(49:25):
the dead and seated him at his right hand in
the heavenly places. Far above all principality and power, and
might and dominion in every name that is named, not
only in this age, but also in that which is
to come. This is the focus of Ephesians pertaining to
(49:52):
what is in heaven and to all the beings and things,
animate and inanimate that are above the earth, all the
things that are natural and supernatural. He is far above them. Jesus,
you shure his power and his authority delegated to us.
That authority transcends all of the rival powers of the enemy,
(50:18):
not only in this age, but in the age to come.
The Church should always have walked in this, We should
have lived this, we should be doing it right now.
But because so few of us do, it allows the
enemy to focus on those of us that walk in
this power and walk in this authority, when the enemy
(50:38):
should be fighting so many fights on so many fronts
that couldn't focus on any one person. Gee, Richard, why
are you so passionate about this? Because I've seen what
happens when you ignore this. I've seen the casualties. I've
seen the families destroyed, the marriages rod, I've seen lives
(51:02):
cut short because of ignorance, because of realizing that you
have the power, you have the authority, you have the
ability to walk in this world under His protection. And
the disciples, they kept trying to get the Church to
(51:23):
hear it one p to three, starting verse eighteen. For
Messiah suffered once for sins the just for the unjust,
and that he might bring us to God, being put
to death in the flesh, but being made alive by
the spirit, by whom also he went and preached to
the spirits in prison, who formerly with disobedience. When once
(51:47):
the divine long suffering waited in the days of Noah,
while the ark was being prepared, in which a few
eight souls were saved through water, there was also a
type which now saves us baptism, not the removal of
the filth of the flesh, but the answer of good
(52:08):
conscience towards God through the resurrection of Jesus, the Messiah,
who has gone into Heaven and is at the right
hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been
made subject to him. What's Peter talking about there? Remember
I said in the negotiations for the Bible, two books
(52:31):
got heeded that some didn't want Peter because he talks
about those that are in the pit, that are in
the prison, that did what they did. In Genesis six
and then in Jude, which I'll show you in a second.
All things natural and supernatural are subject to his rule,
(52:53):
including those things in the pit, the ones that went
down into the pit. Nelson's Study Bible expands upon this.
The Greek term translated spirits can refer to human spirits, angels,
or demons, and there are multiple interpretations. Some interpret these
(53:17):
verses as I do, describing Issue as going to the
place where the fallen angels are incarcerated and declaring his
victory over evil in his work of the Cross. Some
suggest that Peter's referring to the days of Noah because
of the fallen angels were typified by the gross and
(53:38):
morality of those spirits who married human women at the time.
In Genesis six, Sons of God, the benehau Luhim went
into the daughters of Adam and created a race of
giants the Nephel. Jude talks about Jude verses five and six.
(54:00):
But I want to remind you, though you once knew this,
that the Lord, having saved the people out of the
land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe,
and the angels who did not keep their proper domain,
but left their own abode. He has reserved in everlasting
chains under darkness for judgment of the great day they
(54:25):
left their abode. They were never supposed to breed procreate,
they were supposed to have sexual interactions with humans, but
for whatever reason they did. The twenty leaders of the
two hundred watchers that came down on Mount Hermon decided
that they were going to do that, and they got
(54:46):
put into the pit because of it. And Yashua went
down and preached his victory over sin and death. He
took the keys of hell and death. Everyone who was
inn Hades or Shiel who died without the Lord saw
him and heard this. That's why he first went down,
(55:07):
before he went up, taking captivity captive, preaching victory in
the name of Jesus. And before you get confused, there
was no offer of a second chance of salvation while
he was there, as some would tell you. Philippians two
verses nine to eleven gives us a hint of this. Therefore,
(55:32):
God also has highly exalted him and given him the
name which is above every name, that at the name
of Jesus, the name of Yeshia, every knee should bow,
of those in heaven and those on earth and those
under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that
(55:56):
Jesus's Lord, to the cloy of God, the Father, every nieceingular,
bending your knee in submission to the King. It doesn't
matter who they are. If they haven't done it yet,
they will. I was always one of my favorite scriptures
in Deliverance that really frustrated them to be reminded of that.
(56:19):
So the sphere of activity or existence that I'm referring
to here that the word is referring to, is above
the earth, principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness
of this age, spiritual host of wickedness. Where in the
heavenly places? Now, what are we supposed to do in
(56:42):
the face of this? Ephesians six point fourteen tells me Stand, therefore,
having girded your waste with truth, having put on the
breastplate of righteousness, stand therefore, standing against the schemes of
the enemy. Don't back up, don't fall Downstand. And the
(57:05):
soldiers of that day would secure their armor with the
belts from which hung strips of leather to protect the
lower body, but still allow them to move. See, truth
is crucial. It's crucial because the dishonest believer cannot hope
(57:30):
to withstand the Father of lies, the deceits and the
wiles truth, integrity, a life of practicing honesty. The Believer's
Study Bible says the phrase having girded refers to the
way a soldier or laborer in the first century would
(57:52):
draw his long, loose fitting undergarment up between his knees
and tuck it into his belt, so that he might
run or work unhindered by the garment, which might otherwise
cause him to stumble or be hurt. Living an honest,
transparent life, according to the Truth, plays a similar role
in a believer's walk and service. And what's that holding
(58:15):
in place? The breastplate, of the breastplate of the Roman
times went completely around the body, so that the back
of the warrior was also protected. So you had a
front and a back made out of hard leather a metal,
and it was held together by this belt. And the
righteousness that the breastplate represents is the righteousness delegated to
(58:42):
us by the Lord, which allows us to have a
righteous character.

And how do I know he has that? Well?
Speaker 1 (58:52):
The prophet Isaiah tells me Isaiah fifteen nine seventeen about
the Redeemer of Zion, For he puts on righteousness as
a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on his head.
He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and
he was clad with zeal as a cloak. Whenever I
(59:15):
picture the armor going on, I always put the cloak
of zeal. Then what we do Ephesian six point fifteen.
Having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel
of Peace, so now we're going to take it somewhere.
We're going to go somewhere with this Isaiah fifty two,
(59:36):
verse seven. How beautiful upon the mountains or the feet
of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who
brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaim salvation, who says, desion,
your God reigns. Interesting. Vine's Expository Dictionary tells me the
(59:56):
word preparation denotes ready, the readiness, the preparation of the
Gospel of Peace. It's the firm footing. It's the foundation,
which is another word of the Gospel upon which we stand.
It makes our walk worthy of it and furthers our
(01:00:19):
testimony in it. That's the foundation we're building upon. And
this may mean either that the Gospel is the firm
foundation in which believers are to stand, or that the
Christian soldier should be ready to go out and defend
(01:00:39):
and spread the Gospel governed by the Lord's supernatural peace.
When the days are evil, Hacatan Satan brings doubt and
rebellion and death. But the whole Gospel, from Korea to
(01:01:00):
redemption to consummation, brings what it brings assurance and peace
and life. And there's only one source of this peace,
the Prince of Peace. Everybody wants peace. I want to
negotiate peace. How you negotiate peace with people that have
(01:01:22):
never kept in agreement or or are demonically possessed is impossible.

It's beyond me.
Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
First, Thessalonians five verse three, while they are saying peace
and safety, all is well and secure, than a moment,
unforeseen destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains
on a woman with child, and they will absolutely not escape,
for there will be no way to escape the judgment
of the Lord. Jeremiah and Ezekiel all for prophets talking
(01:01:54):
about peace peace. When they say peace peace, sudden destruction
will come. God's judgment will come. It will happen, doesn't
matter what I think, doesn't matter what you think. God's
judgment will happen, but be assured and be comforted because
we have peace through his blood. He has made a
(01:02:17):
way of escape for us when the days are evil.
I'm going to stop here. Too much to cover. We'll
pick it up next week with the rest of the armor. Father,
thank you for peace, Thank you for protecting us, thank
(01:02:39):
you for loving us, thank you for choosing us. Thank
you for this word, for the ability to connect using
the technology that the enemy uses so well, for your kingdom. Now, Lord,
(01:02:59):
I pray that you would take what has been said,
what has been heard, and magnified, edified, expand upon it,
bring revelation to my brothers and sisters, bring answers to
their questions that they might have, and begin to speak
to them about their calling and what it is that
(01:03:22):
you would have them do, prayer, spiritual wars, whether they're
going to go out and do or whether they're going
to battle from their knees in their home, whatever it is. Lord,
you are the commander. You're the captain of the host,
(01:03:43):
and there's none like you. Everything you say, everything you do,
it's true and it's holy and it's right, and it's
just give us this ability in this day in these evil,
evil days. Lord give us this ability to take this
gospel and set the captives free. Thank you, thank you,
(01:04:09):
thank you. I pray all these things and your shoe
