Heart and Soul. Tonight's segment is pre recorded streaming on
(00:24):
United Public Radio Network one O seven point seven New
Orleans and one O five point three of the Gulf Coast.
You can also find me on YouTube in any place
you find your favorite podcast. I'm your host, cat Ward,
Thanks so much for hanging out with us tonight. Folks
have another great guest tonight. He's a return guest co
host of the wonderful show Don't Whistle at Night and
(00:45):
UPRN Brother Don Yazi. This evening Dawn takes us deep
into the shadowed corners of legends and fear as we
unravel the truth behind skin Walkers and the Wendigo or Wendigo.
So many different pronunciations two beings often can fuse. Yet
world's apart in origin and intent. Now a bit even
I've gotten these two mixed up once or twice. But
(01:08):
after tonight maybe we'll see them in a different light.
So help me. Welcome my brother, my UPI and Brother
Don Yazy.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Hello, what's up?
Speaker 3 (01:20):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Have you been?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Oh? No, too bad, just home from work, you know, yep,
glad to be alive. Yes, another day.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yep, another day above Oh good, Yeah, I was off today.
I don't usually record my shows when I have to work,
so I'm nice and fresh and not tired. Well oh nice, tired,
but not like if I had worked.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
But yeah, thanks for asking definitely.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh likewise likewise.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, like we said before we hit before I hit record,
we don't chat as much much as we did when
we first met. Thanks. We have to have to give
a good shout out to mister William Jefning for introducing us.
Oh yeah, I had him on the show and then
he uh a couple of times and then he mentioned
(02:15):
you and yeah, here we are, and now you're on
the network show.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, I know, just like boom. Like I really started
my show, I was like recording my third episode. When
I got the offers, I was just like, wow, all right, cool, okay,
you know I want I want to bring my like,
not only my stories out, but my community, you know,
everyone in between. You know, because there's not only Navajo's
(02:46):
experiencing paranormal experiences. You know, there's Caucasian, there's other people,
different races that are there along with us experiencing this,
you know, and they're looking at us like, why why
isn't anyone know about this? You know, this should be
all over the world, The should be all over the news.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
You know.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
We're looking at a huge ship, much bigger than this
behind me, you know, and we're just like, you know,
it's just it's just there. You know, they're doing what
they're doing. Then no one's gonna stop them. They're gonna
be doing that until until the sun comes up and
you can't see them. They're gonna be silver flying around
sure enough. You know. We got people jobs dropping for
(03:26):
days over there. Yes, it's a it's wonderful, you know,
and and it's a part of the world that I
wish to bring out, you know, more out there and
possibly bring more people to visit to the NAPO nation,
because that's a lot of how we make our money.
(03:48):
You know, a lot of people sell jewelry, you know, tours,
horse tours, jeep tours, morning tours, all night tours, you know,
so people make their money that way. So a lot
do you know that. Oh yeah, there's not much opportunity
on the affirmation mm hmm. So you have to figure
out ways to make money. Yeah, or some people just
(04:12):
leave like me.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Now, I have met so many different types of Indigenous
people in my in my life, and very traditional, very
storytelling is very big to pass on from generation to
generation from the individuals that I've met, And so I
find your show is kind of a version of that.
(04:35):
You're you're telling stories not just Navajo Nation, but create
a whole bunch of other guests that you've had on
your show. And to me correct me if I'm wrong,
I just feel like you're still sharing the stories to
a new audience, a new generation. So maybe we can
understand each other a little better.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, Yeah, that's that's one of the things. Like to
have us be in a place of storytelling. And because
we're one of the most what's the word, people must
understand this a.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Lot you misunderstood.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, We're always misunderstood a lot, you know. And the
only way to help clear the airr is, you know,
let us talk in that just we'll just have a
good safe environment, the child environment where you know, we
can you know, open because there's a lot of stories
that I wish that everyone can hear, but a lot
(05:35):
of people won't hear it. You know, I'm like, oh
my gosh, you know, let me record this. Say it again?
The like, no, no, navel, way, you remember this and
you can relay the story in your own words. You're
supposed to remember. You're supposed to be cognitive enough to
remember it. You're supposed to have that common sense to
relate the story. This is not to be recorded. So
(05:57):
I run into that a lot. So there's a lot
of great storytellers that I wish to bring on, but
it may take some time.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Well, someone can't remember all the stories, and those important
stories are lost. So that's another reason why I find
your show is so important because not only Indigenous people
can learn, but every other you know, occasion, whatever, it's
just people in general. You can just listen to your
(06:28):
stories and go, oh that's interesting. I didn't know that.
So it was to you put yourself out there.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, I was telling Michelle. It's like I just told
her this morning as a matter of fact, that this journey,
you know, it's it's been wonderful, you know, thanks for
thank you for helping me get into the network, you know,
and so far. Yes, it's fun, it's fun, you know,
(07:03):
it's it's amazing. I said so far that the good
outweighs the bad, you know, versus the comments versus the
bad comments and ego from people and ah, wellness of people,
you know what I mean. Just experiencing that on a
normal basis and coming into the podcast world where it's
(07:23):
another another ball game. You know, I'm just like, Wow, Okay, well,
you know, I'm just gonna be myself at the end
of the day. It's all I think I can do.
Yeah before just keep forward, you know, just keep moving
forward and trying to well in the past.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, I definitely believe and feel that you were sent
my way. So because you and I both know mister Jevnik,
because we both know him, that he was meant to
tell me about you, and then I was meant to
tell Michelle about it. And that was just you know,
(08:03):
because as soon as I told her about you, she goes,
do you mind if I steal him? I'm like, I
don't own him, like you can have him as a
guest on your show. Like, but I appreciate you asking,
you know, yeah, look where you are now. I mean, uh,
I've in the beginning, I found you were a little
nervous in your episodes and you're so calm.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Now, like, oh yeah, exactly so much.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
I know it took it took, it took long enough.
I was just kidding, it takes me a long time.
Because I originally started I was with I was on
Creek Devil with Lame Jevining, and you know, we were
the topics always about Bigfoot, and someone would asked a question,
you know, and I would veer off on a skin
(08:50):
walker story or my story, you know, and then there
was like, that's really interesting. Can we have more questions?
And I was like, uh, you know, I'm not supposed
to be talking about this. You know, I'm gonna I'm
gonna get spick when I go home. But I was like,
so it took a while, and then that was Faceless Podcast,
and then I started my own because my community kept
(09:12):
on pushing me and aching me on start your own.
Then I'll come on to your story. I'll come on
your show and I'll tell So my hand was forced
and I met Darren Dre and I knew each other
for a year, and hey, let's started podcast. And he's like,
all right, don't mistle at night you might oh nice,
all right, that's it. So, you know, just everything's just
like me to be, you know. Yeah, I really do
(09:33):
feel that in my podcast was supposed to be faceless.
It was you were supposed to see my face hear
my voice. That was the original vision. But but I
took a while to crawl out from under the rock
though it did, it really did. I'm like, okay, all right, okay.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
I think we all go through that. It's like in
the beginning. I do not like the sound of my
own voice. I hate it. I really do. So it
took me a while to kind of get over that.
Listening to myself, I still don't like it, but I'm
not I don't cringe whenever I hear it anymore.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I know, I hate it personally, I hate my voice too.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
No, you got a good voice.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, Like like on Creek Devil, I had someone commenting like,
this is my second time listening to this episode. I
can fall asleep to his voice. And my wife was like,
who the hell is this?
Speaker 4 (10:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
I guess I got a good radio voice. Maybe maybe you.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Should start doing tho. You should start reading those stories
to put people to sleep, you know, like they have
on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Oh man, I just I just need to I just
need to feel a story and just learn. Yeah, my
wife said she'll coach me because she was actress back and.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
She's so cool.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, she she was really great. She she she got
to a college back east for acting school at one
point in time. She went. So she's like, I'll teach you,
or I'll coach you, you know, like this narrating, like
the gig that you do. Yeah, so she wants to
coach me into to read some of the scripts as well.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
So I think you would do well in that.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I hope. So I got to get back into it
and try it. Just just relax, I think that's my problem.
Just relaxed. Yep.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Okay, So our topic tonight is skin Walkers versus Windo Goes.
Even like before we started recording, I was mentioning to
you that when I was trying to look at some images,
I had one picture of her Windogo or a rendition
it's not an actual photo, And there was another picture
(11:54):
of a it said Navajo skinwalker and it was identical.
So I'm not the only one that gets confused us
with these two. It seems like it's it's they get
confused amongst a lot of people, or would it depend
on which indigenous people, like say, would Cree have the
same name for or a different name for the same
(12:15):
creature than Navajo for example, No, no, no, okay.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Different thing. Yeah, its own different thing. Because different areas,
different regions across Americas have their own what would you say, Uh,
it haunt you spiritually wise or another uh? The chief
would be in charge of an area spiritually, Like different areas,
(12:43):
we have different places of rulers where different deities would
be in control of different groups of tribes, so or
some of them would be. You know, like we have
this character that's reoccurring. He's yeah, he's like a bad guy.
(13:03):
He's like the like Loki, but he's a Kyote guy.
You what was that?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I said, Oh okay when trying to remember the word
escapes me.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
But so we have that guy that's been all around.
But you know, different areas like the wind to go,
I think that's mainly in the Jibweikwa in the Cree
area and the navmation. So the wind to go over
there in that area is more based on a possession
type of deal, Like more spiritual comes from greed, whether
(13:40):
like winter comes you you want more meat, you want
more of this and then that hunger turns into eating
each other cannibalistic and across the Southwest, that's one of
the major taboos that is a big no no, because
when you consume a human flesh, things happen to you.
(14:00):
M m it. Both two things happen to you. Actually,
the first thing that affects you is the spiritual aspect
of it and then the health where you would start
having some health effects from eating another person. So we'd
have that along that play out here on the Southwest
(14:20):
with the NSAUSS you know, they practice cannibalism, you know,
Chocolate Canyon, you name it, may severities, so there's evidence
and may have stories that correlate. And then all that
change and morphed into turning into witchcraft where you have
to consume human flesh and you would be willingly possessed
(14:42):
by the spirit to shape shift, where you would have
to sink and get into the skin. Where there's some
novels that don't have to do that at all. They
can do anything they want from you sitting on their
couch watching TV, relaxing because they're in the astro spying
on you, placing curses on you in the ashtray, plane world,
(15:06):
So there's a there's a lot of different variables to that.
And as far as the Windy Go the my Jibway
friend Eva thunder Oh, she said, it's uh, you know,
there's some stories of it being seen as a like
you would see that's it's it's ripped cage sticking out
(15:28):
with horns. You know, maybe that could be a spirit
or it could be an actual thing. You know. I
think we just need to get out there and record,
get out there and vologate. That's the only way. That's
why I tell everybody, you know, like like they don't
really know what's out there in the dark, and they're
like whatever, you know, they think I'm lying. I'm like, no,
(15:49):
why don't you go out there at night by yourself.
Why don't you go for a walk in the dark
and there's no moon, there's no stars out there. Go
get lost and want and come back and tell me
what you're gonna see. It's like you're going to see
you can see goat man, You're going to see a
centaur or the minotaur, or the cocoa pelly you know,
or the rake. You know, we just go on for days.
(16:11):
You don't know what you would see and it's it's
very fun. You know, it's it's nothing. It's like nothing
other world will get your journaline pumping. And you were
you're seeing something and you're smelling something and you're tasting it.
You know from the smell it's physical and it's there
and you know it's it's very real. And you know,
(16:35):
I have I have yet to make it out to
Canada and Minnesota area. I would like to go out there.
Some people would say that you think being indigenous, you know,
these things reveal themselves to you, you know, possibly you
know I can't. Yeah, I don't have the answer for that.
You know. All I can share with you guys, it's
(16:58):
my experience from what I know, you know, from what
everyone told me. You know, don't go out there, don't
do this, don't do that. And I'll say why and
go do it purpose And now I'm telling my kids,
don't do that. You go to sleep, twelve o'clock, go
to sleep, Go to sleep. Why, like sit down and
I tell them because one time I was at haunted house.
(17:20):
I was awake at and I and I've seen this ghosts,
you know, so they're like their jaw drops and like
I just go to sleep, please, yeah, sleep, pray for yourself.
You know. So you know they're they're spiritually gifted as well. Yeah,
it's awesome. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
I like how you say that spiritually gifted.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Oh yeah, some people. Some people say, uh, spiritual curse,
family curse.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
And generational curse.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
My age, Yeah, a lot of us my age and younger.
You know, we're we're finding ways to help with it
more and be like to say spiritually gifted. You know,
there's people that have gifts in different ways. You know,
some are the eyes, some are the ears, some are
(18:16):
the hands, some are the tails, some of the feet,
some of the head, you know, and you know, like
from my gift, you know, I got the gift to sight.
You know, I can see. You know. I'm a messenger.
I give messages to my family and my in laws.
That's my role. He's giving messages, personal messages. I don't
like it. And there's still messages that I have yet
(18:39):
to deliver. And it's going to be hard. So it's
heavy and it's real.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
You know, there is people might not is it because
people might not accept what you're trying to tell them, no,
or it's just the message itself is pretty intense.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
The whole idea of it, you know, of them coming
to me, you know, like my my friend, like my cousin,
like I was telling you earlier. You know, I ran
away from home at fifteen, you know, been in my
own and one of the first places that I was
(19:22):
at for a year was with my cousin and his
mom and my uncle. And his mom was the nicest person,
the nicest female ever in this whole world, you know,
ever been nice to me. And you know, I you know,
I helped out a lot, and you know, I felt
like I was her son too. You know, she treated
(19:44):
me more of a son than my own mother did.
Say yeah, and you know, and I got a little older,
and I left the reservation. You know, I lived in Phoenix,
I lived in Salt Lake, I lived in Oklahoma, washed
and soon and you know, I didn't know she passed away.
(20:05):
You know, she passed away a few years ago. And
after oh yeah, it's yeah, I I you know, I didn't.
I didn't know. So after the news came to me,
and then out of the blue, I had a dream
that I was at my cousin's house and his brothers,
you know, they're outside on the side of the house
drinking beer, you know, hanging out, and they didn't see
(20:30):
me because I think I was in the astral realm,
because I'm astro playing every now and then, you know,
And you know, I think it might've been one of
those moments. I'm not sure, because I was standing outside
the house and I was seeing those guys aside, and
now I was, I can hear my uncle through the house.
(20:51):
He was sitting on the couch. I can hear him,
you know, I can see I can hear now standing there.
Then I looked aside by the vehicles. I've seen her.
You know, she's walking coming towards me. And I know
if it's bad, you know, I instantly know I would
get back, and you know, I would say, you know,
(21:11):
my father, who are in heaven? I wake up for
my dream, you know, because I don't have control these
these trips, but they happen as they come, and most
of the time I know it's important and I'm going
to receive a message. And I've seen Jesus as well.
He's six foot one. His hair it's right here. His
(21:33):
eyes is green, blue, black, red, all of our all
the humanity's color, that's his eye color. I'm six foot.
He's a little bit taller than me. So that's another
story for another time. I see him three times and
he gave me messages all three times, and I delivered.
(21:54):
And so I've seen my aunt, my cousin's mother come
and I seen her. I was like, oh, hey, you know,
I said her name, and she's like, oh, how are
you doing? You know, if I'm good. Then she's looking
at her husband and her kids standing there, and then
(22:16):
she looked at me again and I told her. I
was like, you know, I never never had the chance
to tell you, you know, but thank you for taking
me in. Thank you for being so nice to me.
You know, you're the nicest person ever. And I want
you to know that. And then she said, you know,
you're welcome, and please come back here and go tell
(22:37):
my husband, Go tell my sons. I love them, and
I'm watching over them. Check on them for me, check
on my boys for me. She grabbed my hands, so
please check on my boys for me, and I will will,
I will, I promise. So I have yet to deliver
that message. And you know, that's probably one of the
(23:00):
good messages I ever got. Mm hm. The rest the
rest are the rest of our heartbreaking and bad and
they all did come to pass. That's what's really scary
about it. And you know, I really do tell try
to tell my kids to have one of these by
your bed, you know, right down when you wake up,
(23:20):
because sometimes you have a message and.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
You can't remember when you wake up, you just have
fragments mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
But back to the wind to go, you know it
really it sounds like a perfect possession spirit because what
we were talking about earlier, some people come from a
shape shifters and their kids this very day, their grandkids,
they are shifting uncontrollably, and they wouldn't they don't know
(23:54):
what happens to them. They end up from point A
to point B quick and you know, they wouldn't know
how it all started from their grandpa, you know, teach
them a song or their grandpa is dabbling in something,
and it just passes on down the line. And you know,
from from my side on from the western portion of
(24:15):
the NAPO nation, Monment Valley side, and a lot of
us we had to resort into into that, into that
that magic realm to live to be here, and you know,
even to talk about it, it's a it should be
(24:37):
should be shared, should be talked about open openly with
each other, especially with different tribes, which is right now
we're we're doing. You know, we have apaches, we have blackfeet, everyone,
you know, they all have different stories to add to
this huge mysterious puzzle call of life that we're on.
(24:59):
And you know, making this podcast like yourself, you know,
we're only adding adding the puzzle to this giant mystery box,
you know, And and you know, I like to be
a part of that. And it's and it feels good
to be a part of a community like this. I
finally feel like a family here.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Oh I'm happy.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
I know.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Several years ago, uh, when I first got into the paranormal,
there was a lot of bullying and harassing and just
negativity and people saying there still is now, but not
like it was years ago. I mean, I even know
someone who got off all every social media platform because
she was being harassed by team members, like the people
(25:48):
that she would investigate with. And I I was so
she had a chat, not a chat, she had a
little show, and well she had to distance herself from
the people because she was getting harassed. You know, people
were showing up at her work they were leaving death
threats on her, you know, on cell phones and stuff
(26:09):
like that. It's just crazy. And I was in the
chat room once where she's not part of it at
the time, but her friends were, and they brought her
name up, and then in the chat Oh my god,
I couldn't believe the negativity saying that that individual should
un alive themselves. And I was just like, whoa. So
(26:30):
to me, it should have been the people on the
show saying no, no, no, we don't want that, but
they were encouraging it. So I find over the years
people just got fed up of the bullying and the negativity,
and we've we're banding together to get rid of these bullies.
And I find I've met great people like yourself, you know,
so many people on the network now and there's a
(26:52):
lot more positivity now, which I'm happy it's not as
it's not as bad as it was. Yes, there's still
some negativity, but not like before.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
Wow, jeez, I had no idea to be a fly
on the wall. Yeah, oh man, sounds like high school drama. No,
I'm just kidding. I know.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Really it's like, good grief, how old are you?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
I know, right, that's I think that's why I choose
my field is construction, So you know, like, hey, we
don't talk here, we do body language. Just go outside.
Other than that, you shut up. Yeah, yeah, that's that's
blue collar. You know. It's like, hey, that's how we're
friend back in the day. That's how we're going to
(27:37):
unfriend today. Let's you know, that's that's really sad though,
you know, like for me since I started this podcast,
like we're talking about earlier, the good out wasteed bad
so far. Yeah, you know, getting hit with a lot
of negativity. You know, when it when it gets overbearing,
I do tell Darren like, hey, you know this is yes,
(28:02):
you know I want to I really want to really
unpunish this person, but I can't. I don't want to
go to prison. Rais my family, you know, like, yeah,
this person doesn't know you know, like the end of
the day, like you guys have no idea experiences and
other you guys have no idea what it's like to
wear another man's moccasins. You know. Yeah, a few things
(28:25):
make me shake in my moccasins. And that's bigfoot, you know,
like I'm not scared of anything else, you know, I
don't have time to be bullied or to bully anyone
end of the day. You know, I choose peace. You know,
if I wanted drama, i'd be you know, i'd be aware,
I'd be over there with the drama people.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
But yeah, for those of you who don't know, Darren
is Don's co host. So if you haven't checked out
their show yet, you really have to check it out.
It's a don't Whistle at Night and it's a really
good show. Yeah, keep getting off topic up, so sorry,
(29:07):
So can you for those of who aren't aware, can
you give a description of what a skin walker? My
daughter and I started calling them epidurus slow runners because
we didn't want to actually say the words epidermis is
skin and walker is like a slow runner. So we
started calling the epidermis slow runners. So physically, if you
(29:30):
were if you had them side by side the wind
to go, what would they look like?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Well, the a jibway depiction of the window go probably
range from six feet maybe even more twelve feet, you know,
with the antlers with its uh ribs shooting out, you know,
like like like it's starving, you know, it's hunger for more.
No eye sockets, you know. Some of them say deep
(30:00):
eye sockets, you know, or some say that it has
no eyes, it's just skull and a skin walker. That
one is a can of worms on its own. Yeah.
So I'll tell you two different skinwalkers, maybe even three,
(30:22):
maybe in four perhaps, but I'll share with you these
two right now. So the very first time I seen
the skin walker was thirteen years old. Oh man, I've
seen quite a few skinwalkers.
Speaker 3 (30:36):
To be honest, scary, it's really scary.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah, you know, you know a thing or two because
you've seen a thing or two, you know, and you
can smell the difference between the skin walker and a sasquatch,
you know, because those two really punch it smell. So
my first skinwalker, he half his body was a coyote. Yeah,
the tail and his upper body his band's torso. And
(31:04):
he has a lot of silver and turquoise jewelry, a
lot of them on and then on his fingers he
has a lot of a ring too, and then his
wrists has a lot of silver bracelets going up. And yeah,
this one I seen, he had a white face paint
and he had symbols on his face had be yellow
(31:27):
face paint symbols, and he had a coyote pelt on
his head. I was up sticking up and then its
pelt was the slow I can see his face.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Wearing a hood kind of yeah, and it.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Was stripped over from the back as well. And then
so he looked like he was at least four and
a half feet tall from the his his paw to
the tip of his head, and he was on the ground.
He was floating like two feet above the ground. And
(32:03):
he had an at whole blanket around his back and
around his arm m and was in the split second
I heard thunder like a thunderclap, and his whole body
lit up like flash Gordon and he ran down the
dirt roads covering nine miles within the seconds and you
(32:25):
hear thunder gone wow. And the second one I seen
almost killed us. We're racing one night after homecoming. Oh
that one was scary. We're going ninety miles an hour
(32:47):
down Forrest Gump Hill. Have you ever seen Forrest Gump? Yeah,
where he's running up. So we're coming down that hill flying.
There's three v Yeah, that's where I'm from, that.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Area, Okay, I know that.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
Yeah, Yeah, I ran into I hit a saber toothed
tiger around the area. And there's like a donkey man
two that was following me on the road one time
because I can hear the hoof. I don't know, it
might have been sentinar, but something hoof was following me
on the road because I had to walk home one
(33:24):
night from the high school to the community. I got
home at five in the morning. The walk all night.
No one was driving, nobody like those roads are so
lonely where only ghosts will keep you company, and they'll
ask you for help to screaming towards you. You would
(33:47):
hear her footsteps running circles around you, asking you for help,
for help, help me, help me. And there'd be another
part where you would hear a horse charging after you
and running circles around you. You know, some parts of
the street highway are very very haunted, and you know
(34:08):
each each you know each each part of the highway
has its own stories of big crossing. And so we're
coming down Forest Cup Hill and my cousin he was
in a big old easel truck. He let us in
the dust and we're neck and neck with these cars
(34:29):
car full of girls, and we're looking at each other
and off on their side, I seen something on their
headlights like something's coming. I thought it was a dog.
So we're cruising fast and I look and this thing
came up on the headlights of their vehicle. And I
was looking at underneath of the now whole blanket design,
(34:51):
you know, it was coming flying fast, and I looked
on top. I seen on top there was a man
u sitting up Indian style with his leg full of
it back straight up. Things in his hand. It might
have been a crystal rock and a feather he must
(35:13):
have had in his hands.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
He had two things in his hand, and he was
sitting on that rug like Aladdin, and he was he
flew over their headlight and by the time he got
over to our car.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
By the time he got over to our car, he
was over our hood and there's a trail of dust
following him. And the dirt hit or the dirt was
in front of their headlight, like like someone drove in
front of us dirt road to the highway. And when
(35:46):
it got over to us, when he passed by us,
the rock hit the wind windshield. And this guy he
had a red wrinkler putting up shirt and blue jeans
in a red bandana and he had white hair. So
wherever he was doing, he had to get there. Yeah,
(36:07):
the back tire blew out, boom, and we control. We're
all over the highway and I was in my He
was a he was an assistant coach for us he
at the time. His brother was a head coach for
the team at the time. So I was riding back
with him because he lived off the reservation in the
(36:29):
community and I had to ride back home to my
order reservation town mm hm. And he was gonna drop
me off on the way out, and we started racing
these other people, and you know, he lost control of
his seventy six Chevelle Nova all over the highway and
were hurt. Where we can hear the tire boom boom, boom,
(36:50):
boom and hiss uh. That seventy six Nova was a
was a was his project. And his seats was even
bolted down on the path. He had no seatbelt top
and off I was like, boom, boom boom. All I
could do was just grip the seat. And I was like,
oh man, this is how I'm gonna die on my
(37:13):
right because my family's areas all right there. I'm like, wow,
I'm going to die close to home. I was accepting death,
you know, at that moment. But luckily he got control
of the car and we ran off the road, into
the into the into the dirt. We got off of
the road. I jumped out because it was the passenger
(37:36):
tire that blew up. I jumped out. I kicked it.
The tire is perfectly normal, and he came around. The
tire was perfectly normally. We looked at each other, we
looked around, we jumped in the car, and we ho
teled out of it. Yeah. And then third, Yeah, it's strange.
And the third one, I was a little bit older
(37:59):
this time. And I'm trying to sort these things. A
lot of them are senetar encounters that came around that
I am coming to grips of right now. And some
of them are not skinwalker or bigfoot experiences that I'm
(38:20):
sorting out nowadays. I always I just threw everything to
the back. And my mother's stories, you know, she's she's
telling me crazy stories too, you know. She you know,
she was basically abducted one night and she got off
at the start road. She was telling that man that
(38:41):
abducted her to you know, I need to go Restue
let me out. She knew where she was. It was dark,
and she made her escape. She was running in the
creek all the way back home, and when she stopped
to get a breather, she turned to look back and
she seemed bigfoot running after her. So she had to
(39:02):
run home NonStop. She was scared. She thought it was
that guy chasing her. And she was like, why is
I thought he's in the car. Whise he running after
me in the dark? How can he see me? She's
looking back to this guy was huge, said that he
was running towards her, zig zag like this, mm hmm.
And when he was zig zag like this, he said,
(39:23):
and he would turn his hand would almost touch the ground.
His his his arms were really long. Grief, you know,
so this guy almost took us as a kid, almost
took my mother, almost took my sister, almost took my
cousin brother, and my uncle had to shoot one back
(39:45):
of the head. So and then, you know, my family
used to be involved with a witchcraft, you know, shape shifting,
and they taught us how to how to find him,
how and how to trap them, how to trick them,
and how to look for them, and how to look
(40:05):
for where they do there and now what it's called
and baha one and translation that means like the hidden home,
the hidden the house secrets. Okay, yeah, yeah, so the wardrobe,
the magic wardrobe. I'll just kidd in there. They do
(40:26):
their things, you know, and they can actually open portals anywhere.
They can disappear from a room anywhere. They can go
into a wall. Right here. They would draw symbols. They
would draw certain symbols and they would open that doorway
and they would disappear. That symbol would disappear with them.
(40:47):
These guys can go through dimensions. And there's certain places
where full faced rock and only if you believe you
can go into that rock. It's a secret doorway. So
how much do you believe in magic? That's what this
if you believe in magic, kidd But you know what I.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Mean, so kind of remer.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Have you ever seen an old movie called Bukaroo Banzai
in the eighth dimension it's eighties or nineties. I absolutely
loved it. And there's aliens uh there, It's just it's
I love The movies are supposed to be a sequel
and I never made one. I was so upset. But anyways,
so Bakaru Banzai, he's trying I can't remember what they're
(41:33):
trying to achieve. And he's driving his car really really
fast in the desert and he goes into the mountain,
but he's in a different dimension and he sees all
these creatures and it's kind of neat. That's what it
might makes me think about my my geek brain.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Oh man, Yeah, it's it's just I don't know, it's
just the imagination that always gives you to wonder at
the day, you know, it's wow. Oh, you know all
the reason why I just started a podcast, because there's
more people from stories that have this and have that,
and like, hey, I've seen that. I'm not crazy. I
(42:11):
like that's my favorite feeling, you know, like I jump
up and down and like I'm not crazy, We're not crazy.
Messaging me saying that my grandpa told me this story.
I never thought it was real, you know, and then
some people like I seen that, I seen that, and
then like, so, you know, it's things been busy. You know,
(42:31):
it's been busy a lot. I'm trying to I'm trying
to reply back to messages as we speak, and yeah,
it's been an amazing journey so far. Yeah, I love it.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
I want to ask the first block it no go
ahead next week?
Speaker 2 (42:47):
What I was just saying next I think next week
I'm gonna I'm gonna be going taking my son and
my youngest brother to this very big hot spot. And
and all I gotta do is just vlog it, you know,
and just have some bookers running down my nose, you know,
play witch style. That's all I gotta do.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
Now I have to ask you the first time you
saw a skin walker, did you, first of all, did
you know what it was when you saw it? And
you said it had symbols? Do you know what the
symbols were like? Do you did you recognize them?
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Well, the symbol I one of the symbols I recognized
was like a lightning, Okay, like a lightning strike across
the face. And I think I think I had another
yellow line separate because each face paint is very unique,
and one of the one of the face paints you
(43:51):
might see is a lightning, and the lightning is one
of the higher ranking ones. So they're always always together,
or there's one leader with two Usually if you there's three,
there's one male and two females. Usually in most cases
(44:14):
it would be a husband and wife duo, okay, and
if not, it's an uncle and nephew. And if not,
it's a grandpa and grandson. Always family grandma, yeah, grandma
and granddaughter, or the girls always go together. Girls go
(44:34):
together unless they're married. And so yeah, I knew what
I seen based off of my my whole family is
kindaalogue of seeing these things. You know, we've seen all
the forms that they take. They can even get inside
your house, different face paint that we've seen, you know,
(44:58):
it's just it's just vast, you know. Should be one
of my next goals to really document and start a
documentary with everybody, everything from Portals to Cintaur, the UFOs.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
Yeah, at the very least write a book.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yeah, I got I got that still working in the
in at works right now. From my early years of
my investigating into going into Hope you Land and learning
about the Sasquatch, and right now I'm making friends with
the Zuni peblomm and they have their own form of skinwalkers.
(45:42):
Same thing, same thing that they said that they're my
Zuni friends. Said that he's going to come on my
podcast and share about his skin walkers story.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
It's nice, it's scary because he said that some.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
Parts of the Zuni Pebblo there no one is allowed
at all to be there because they're actively practicing witchcraft there.
Flight out. They told their own people, don't go here.
Why we're practicing witchcraft there, we're perfecting witchcraft, that's what
they said. So my friend, him and his his friend
(46:22):
and his brother, he went there. He's the youngest one,
like around nine, I believe nine or eleven. I'm like, what,
you're that age? He's like, yeah, there are teenagers like that.
Sounds like me. That sounds like me. He always stuck
the older ones. And you're scared as hell. Yeah, he said.
They went down that road to that canyon and his
(46:43):
h his vehicle shut off, and then the vehicle turn
came back on again. He said, he looked back. He
said he's seen a coyote head and a man's face
looked like ash all over his face looking at him.
And then the vehicle died, and he said that the
whole big car died, and there's something walking around the car,
(47:04):
scratching the edges of the car outside, and then they jumped.
They seen someone coming down the road towards him. I
guess it was tow truck to get them. They jumped
out of the car and start running towards the truck
and oh, my buddy said his brother was saying, don't
look back, don't look back, whatever you do. And he
(47:26):
said his brother was just a few feet ahead of him,
and his brother was saying, don't look back. And his
brother looked back. Something was right behind him, and he
says his brother just left him in the dust. He
said he was only wanted running. He said that he
didn't dare to look back.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
So you know, it sounds like something you do. Somebody
said don't look back, you would look back.
Speaker 2 (47:50):
Oh yeah, yeah. Like this documentary that's gonna come out,
it's gonna be a good one. There's this part of
episode I believe eight, This ten episodes uh documentary coming up.
Episode eight. You'll you'll see me walk around in the
forest way down there by myself. When I come back
and the filmmaker Adam, he grabs me, stop walking off,
(48:14):
put running off my why we don't want you to
be bigfoot food out my ten MILLI major. It's okay,
so yo, y'll hear that. You know, I'm like why
you don't want you to You don't want to take
you away. And I was like, if he does, my
wife can find me. My wife. My wife is a
(48:36):
real good tracker. She's a really good tracker. So it
was my son. My son's a really good tracker. Yeah.
So that's what I know, is like if I am,
if I'm gone, I know my wife can find me.
And if not my wife, my my aunt, my aunt
can find me because she's a she's a hand trembler.
Oh she helped us find Uh. It's another form of
(49:00):
a spiritually gifted Okay, another branch sect, I would say.
So these guys would h some of them would have
to use a uh like like this. Pretend this is
a crystal. Okay, okay, say my mic is a crystal.
(49:20):
Okay okay, And and that person grabs it, and you say, hey,
I lost my I lost my car keys. You know
this is a true story, but I'm going to change names. Okay,
So you go to this person, I lost my car keys,
and that person just okay, let's go find where it is,
(49:43):
sit down, and it grabs the crystal, says, and that
crystal will glow like like you would turn on the
led light here in the dark room, this rock will
glow and you will see where your key is at.
And you would see that this person that came to
look for the key, that person's going daughter took the
(50:03):
key to this trailer over the heel where this guy
is a meth dealer. He's he he steals ther bikes
and cars. He's a real scumbag. So so my aunt
or so so that person with the rock would be like, yeah,
(50:26):
she went in there and sold him the key and
he gave her the drug. That's the key. Is that
in this trailer and that drawer right there and that
and everyone there would see it, you know, and you
know like amazing things like that. You know, people have
that gift, have that power to see things. And some
(50:47):
of them we just need to touch your hands. So
like a lot of us, a lot of us, we
try not to touch people's hands because, yeah, some people
are very gifted. They just need to touch your hands
and they can see everything about you right away. Information
(51:08):
like that. They'll know about you. They'll know your favorite song,
they'll know your favorite color, and you know, just things
that you would not that no one shouldn't know. And
then so she would help. She would, you know, help
people out like that, you know, help people out like that.
(51:29):
Some people would charge money. Some people would do it
out of free, because it should be free, you know,
it should help for free. It's a gift. And there's
certain people where you would go to and tell them
the same story what I'm telling you. That person would
just say wait one second and step back and just
(51:51):
close their eyes and their boom, they're just escaping their
body into the astro realm and they're seeing what you're
talking about and seeing where that person went. They see
in real time. So we have we have a gifted
person like that on our team and he's helping us
a pinpoint where all these sasquatches go on in that nation.
(52:14):
And he is legit because all these areas I research
for years in track and let him know. I asked
him to test him and he you know, he's he knows.
So he's a part of the team and hopefully we
can produce documentaries with all of us together.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
That'll be nice. Some people too, they won't look at
people in the eyes because they can automatically see everything.
It's the same thing if you shake their hands. Some
people will not look at people in the eyes. Some
people call it a soul gaze because they're gazing into
your soul. But you know, they say the eyes are
the windows to your soul. You know. So some people
(53:00):
are gifted and they'll look at like your forehead right here,
and it looks like if you're the other person, it
looks like they're looking in your eyes, but they're not
because they can't you going to get all this suation.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
Yeah, that's what my aunt does to me already. I
know when she does that and I'm like, look at it.
She's like like of your food, like in my mind,
you know, certain things like yeah, they've already knew it.
(53:33):
They look like when I meet when I met my
in laws, I knew I knew who was spiritually right
off the back that one. Or Babe, I don't like
that one. You know, this one, this one, this one
has something sure enough, you know. It's just you know,
like I don't know how to explain it to people.
It's like a dog, you know, like you would trust
(53:54):
a dog. A dog will tell you a good person
who's not. So I'm like that in a strange way.
So you know, it's just like for us us now
when we're talking to somebody, we have to maintain that's
the only time we look at each other. And I
so we're revealing ourselves to each other. We're we're showing
(54:20):
each other our souls, and we're showing each other that
we're not hiding anything. And you got my full undivided attention.
And I'm going to receive everything. Every message that you're
trying to transmit to me, I'm going to get it
and I'll relay on if it's that important. So when
now we'd lecture my kids, I'll tell them that too.
(54:41):
When they break eye contact, I get on them, just
look at it. They don't like to stare me in
the eye, but I, you know, like everyone, you know,
like we do. I stare in contact at work, you know,
I do it win you know, that's you know, like
that's how I am too. Like with people. I try
not to have maintain eye contact because I don't want
(55:03):
to give myself away. Because only one that should know
about you, about yourself is God, you know, because he's
own that knows our heart.
Speaker 1 (55:16):
M hm.
Speaker 2 (55:17):
You know, that's who I choose to please it in
the day. You know, the secret of all hearts, the
ones that know our hearts already, even when when we're
in our mother's womb, you know. So everything's all meant
to be just like us right here, like we're meant
to cross paths and to talk about the paranormal for
this next generation, you know, like my son and there.
(55:40):
You know, he doesn't know what we're doing, but I'm
telling him and my other kids. This is for you guys.
You know, you guys are going to learn one day
when you get older, when I die, I won't leave
you guys. You guys will have this, you know. So
you know it's just one day, you guys will grow
up and understand, you know, why things go bump into
(56:02):
the night yep. And I had to take a lot
of guts to go out there and see what bump.
I'm gonna tell everyone, Hey, the British are coming, the
Britisher coming. I get a lot of you shouldn't do that,
(56:24):
you shouldn't say that, you shouldn't be talking about that,
You shouldn't be telling the white people, you shouldn't be
like oh man, it was like I'd be like times change.
You know, you guys told us don't go out on
the dark or something out there, But you guys never
told us what's up there, and I had to go
(56:44):
out there and find out for yourself. Yeah yeah, And
I was like, you can live your life however you
want to live, but I'm gonna tell my kids, my son,
what's out there, so he can tell his kids and
his sons what's out there. So we can respect what's
out there, because what's out there is while they're gonna conduct,
they're gonna hunt, they're gonna do whatever they're gonna do,
(57:06):
because that's them. They're on a different level of living.
They're the rural apex predators, and we should give them
the due diligence of respect, but we should also learn
from them. And there's just one area on the naval
nation that's very, very close to intelligent contact. So I
(57:29):
really hope to work with that family some more and
to hopefully we can make intelligent contact. But it's really close. Though.
Then there's some areas where he'd drag you off in
your tent. You know, he don't care if there's four
people in the tent, he'll drag try to drag all
four of you. So you know, I can't really put
(57:52):
my finger on that guy. But as far as skin walkers.
Those guys made their own own choices to get that
horrible gift, and they have to keep doing bad deeds.
And how sometimes you would cross the skin walker in
the normal settings would be like you're at the laundrymat
(58:15):
on the nave nation of local laundrymat, and you're you're
trying to do your clothes and some person comes up
next to you starts doing their clothes and you're making
small talk, and then they're like, oh, yeah, I'm a skinwalker,
or they'd be like, yeah, I curse this person. They
would tell on themselves. They would they would tell on themselves.
(58:39):
They would slip up on purpose because that's their nature.
Their nature is to slip up. Their nature is to
get shot or stabbed and die and get killed somehow
they're gonna they're they're going in a circle that leads
to their death. They're in their pathway that something is
constructing their death. So a lot of times they tell us,
(59:02):
you leave that person alone. If that person tells on himself,
you leave it alone. You don't tell everybody, because when
that person tells you what that what they do, and
if you say, well I'm going to tell everyone, then
all that's you. You're going to get all the smoke,
you know, supernatural to the normal and the paranormal. You know,
(59:26):
you will lose your mind. Yeah, so, you know, we
would see a lot of that with my with my family.
You know a lot of a lot of them are
on drugs, a lot of them are on alcohol. A
lot of them have passed away from you know, a
lot of them are in prison.
Speaker 4 (59:45):
You know.
Speaker 2 (59:45):
It's just yeah, you know, I see the effects, you know,
and it's very real. And people ask me, why why
are you doing this? Like, because I'm a survivor, I
have every right to talk about this. I'd be right
to expose that darkness with every little bit of light
that I have in my time here in this world.
(01:00:05):
I'm going to fight the good fight. That's the best
thing I can do to make this world a little
bit better for my son. The more he knows, the
more he can be safe. You know. Yeah, yeah, mm hmmm.
So a lot of ways. One of the tips would
be you would you know, you would have to pray.
(01:00:27):
You know, there's a certain way you would pray when
you burn cedar mm hm, and you would get that
ash and you can apply it to your face, you know,
to your to your doorway, you know, and you can
apply it to your bullets and you shoot that person
the schomaker. And then there's a another way it's a
magic is you get the ash and you say your
(01:00:49):
own prayer. It makes your saliva with the ash, and
you flick it. The ash will turn to arrowhead hit
that person. Mm hmm. There's other ways too, like if
you really learn learn the good way of it. You
know that they use that for offense, and you know
(01:01:11):
you would use your gift where that skin walker is
going and you would go travel miles where he's going
to cross the road. You would see spiritually see you
know up here, you see where that skin walker is going.
And you get to that road where he's going to cross,
you hide your vehicle. You go the crossway where a
game trail would be, and you see he's going to
(01:01:32):
cross this creek and you would draw a line in
the sind and you would place arrowhead right where the
creek is coming. You place the arrow hit there, and
you place ash there and you pray, and you would hide,
find somewhere to hide so you can pray for yourself.
You pray for your eyes Pray for your heart, Pray
for so you can get so you can be tough,
(01:01:55):
because whatever you're going to see is gonna be scary
as hell. It's gonna scared of ship at you. Excuse
my language, it's okay, very real. So you would hear
this thing gallop, then you would hear you hear something
(01:02:15):
like a like a flesh connect boom, and then you
hear a body falling. You would go to the wash
and you would see a creature that would resemble a
half man and half horse, but it's actually skin walker
disguising himself as as a sintaur. That's his face paint
(01:02:37):
would be yellow. And then later on you would see
that person at a swap meat trying to offer you
some food, trying to offer you soda. You see that
same person at another swap meet again offer you food
off a few things, and you would say, hey, I
let you live that day that night, and that person say,
I know, that's why I'm trying to be nice to
(01:02:59):
your Yeah, that person paid me to do this to you.
I don't know who you are. It's just business. At
the end of the day, it's crazy.
