(03:10):

Voices just came out fresh cut by our brothers Zone three. Uh,
you can look him up. Z O n E. Dash three.
All right, this is gonna be for Father in prayer

(03:32):
everything Father, we asked for your help today on this podcast.
We asked for your grace. We asked for your amazing mercy.
We asked Father God, Oh Lord, that you'll lead us
and guide us, and that you will bring us, Father God,
into your perfect will. Today, Father, Oh Lord, we asked
for your will be done, and out our will, Father

(03:55):
Oh got annoyed. Bless and use this podcast to your glory. Father,
we asked His Lord in Jesus' name, Amen and amen.
You know, I love it when Father answers prayer because
I've been praying for his will to be done and

(04:18):
asking him to use his podcast as he desires to
use it, to put it in a prominent place like
the link right where people are drawn to it, where
people can just click on it and get ministered to. Well.

(04:39):
For one, I've seen growth in China. There's been a
couple one hundred people that I've noticed that has been
clicking on our website his high nation dot com. And
when I look and see where they're from, they're coming
from China, right in different continent. And then the other

(05:00):
day I was just talking to his own three I looked,
I'm signed up to the iHeartRadio newsletter right because our
podcast is on their platform as well, and I'll just
reading and going through their newsletter, and I noticed they
got the podcast right there promoting our podcast on their newsletter.

(05:26):
I'm like, praise God, Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. And they
included a link so you can click right on it
and you can click right directly to this podcast. You know, iHeartRadio.
They have millions of followers over there. So I just
want to thank God and give them glory and testify

(05:51):
of his goodness. And I love it when he hears
his children. Amen. So that was a quick testimony. Hadelujah.
All right, let's dive into the scripts acts chapter one. Now,

(06:16):
this book was written by Luke, and as we know,
Luke wrote the Book of Luke, and Luke was a physician.
Luke was a doctor, very educated, and it says the

(06:36):
former account I made. The former account he's talking about
is the book of Luke. Oh Theopolis. Now, there is
a couple of ideas of who this Theopolis character is.
I'm gonna give you a couple and then I'm gonna
leave you to study on your own. Looks another one.

(07:02):
Some say that he is an actual person. Some commentators
say that he is Luke's master because back in those days, physicians,
doctors used to be the slave of different people, you know,

(07:23):
prominent slave owners, right, And so he could be writing
back to his former slave owner. His slave owner probably
got slaves or touched by the Gospel and allowed Luke
to travel with Paul. Or it could just be a
group of people. And so I just wanted to to

(07:49):
point that out to you. But so o theopolis of
all that, Jesus began both to do and to teach
until the day in which he was taken up. After he,
through the Holy Spirit, had given commandments to the apostles

(08:12):
whom he had chosen, to whom he also predestined himself alive.
I'm sorry he presented himself alive after his suffering by
many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days,

(08:37):
and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God,
and being as symbol together with them, he commanded them
not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the
promise of the Father, which he said, you have heard

(08:58):
from me, For John truly baptized with water, but you
shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days
from here. Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, singing, Lord,
will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?

(09:21):
And he said to them, it is not for you
to know times or seasons which your father has put
in his own authority. But you shall receive power when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall
be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judaea

(09:46):
and Samaria until the end of the earth. Now, when
he had spoken these things while they watched, he was
taken up, and the cloud received him out of their sight.
And while they steadfastly, while they looked steadfastly towards heaven,

(10:09):
as he went up the whole two men stood by
them in white apparel, who said, men of Galilee, why
do you stand gazing into the heaven? The same Jesus
who is taken up from you unto heaven, will will
so come in like manner as you saw him go

(10:32):
into heaven. Amen. All right, let's begin to break it
all down here. Now, Luke, like I said, wrote both
the Gospel of John and the Book of Acts as

(10:56):
two volumes of the same story. Now, the works of
Jesus continued through his followers, that they're not done right.
Verse one says all that Jesus began both to do
and teach in verse one of the Book of Acts,

(11:19):
meaning Jesus his work did not end when he was
ascended up into the sky. Noticed that the very beginning,
it says, he began to do and to teach. So
he was going to continue his work through the apostles

(11:42):
in his disciples by the power of the Holy Spirit. Now,
also if you look to verse eight with me real quick,
but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has
come up on you, and you shall be witnesses to

(12:03):
me in Jerusalem and all Judea, in Samaria, to the
ends of the earth. Hallelujah. That's amazing right there. Now.
Verse eight is the key to the entire book. The

(12:26):
word power here in the Greek is deunymous, for which
we get the word dynamite. This is explosive power, transformative power,
the kind of power that turns ordinary people into extraordinary

(12:49):
witnesses for God. Amen, have you received the power of
the Holy Spirit. That is a whole other experience we
can have in our walk with the Lord. And also
before the disciples could go out and change the world,

(13:14):
they had to first wait for the promise of the Father,
the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That's the second experience.
The first experience is regeneration when you actually get saved,
and then we need to wait and ask God. The

(13:34):
baptism of the Holy Spirit. It's a reminder that we
cannot accomplish the work of God without the power of God.
When we say that again, we cannot accomplish the work
of God without the power of God. Amen. So that

(13:56):
we need to have a steady prayer life in fasting.
There's a lot that comes with this. And when Jesus
ascended in verse nine to eleven, that was not the

(14:17):
end of his story. It was the beginning of a
global movement that continues through us all even to this day.
The Book of Acts has no amen. The Book of
Acts is still being written through us and in us. Now.

(14:44):
I love this. Right from the start, Jesus shows us
that ministry is not something we do in our own strength.
Before the disciples went out anywhere, Jesus told them to

(15:05):
wait and beloved, that is hard to do. I mean,
we want to move, we want to act, we want
to fix things, we want to get things going the
way they need to be. But Jesus says, wait for
the promise. Sometimes God holds us still before he's preparing

(15:34):
to fill us up. Now, as we think of the
characters in the Bible who were instructed to wait on
God and they struggled with it, sometimes it's hard for
us to do nothing. The enemy speaks to us, speaks

(15:56):
to our pride, and he's always telling us we need
to act, we need to do something, we need to
take care of this, we need to do that. Then
you notice that, like even in your prayer life, things
come up that either you need to do or you
forgot about, or you get anxious. You just want to
get up from your prayer time and go handle these things.

(16:18):
The enemy doesn't like it when we sit quietly and
wait on the Lord. Think about Abraham. Abraham was waiting
on the promise of God Isaac. But Abraham was one

(16:41):
hundred plus years old and his wife as well. They've
waited twenty five years for the promised son, and it
got impatient. They Sarah gave Abraham her handmaid, Hagar, and says,

(17:02):
you know what, let's fulfill Let's help God out here.
Let's fulfill God's promise through my handmaid. Because God is
just taking too long. And so that was the impatience
of Sarah and Abraham. And notice when they had the child,

(17:26):
they had Ishmael together, that they began to blame one
another because now Sarah was despised in the eyes of
the mistress because she got pregnant. But Sarah couldn't get pregnant,
so it wasn't Abraham. Abraham wasn't the issue. So now

(17:50):
they're looking at Sarah like you're the issue. You're the
reason why they can't have this child. And so Sarah
began to treat her abusively and she had to flee.
None of that was in the will of God. And
even today we have conflict in the Middle East. You

(18:13):
have the Jewish race constantly defending himself against the Middle Easterns,
the I want to say Iraqians, but you know, the
Middle Easterns basically the descendants of Ishmael. And even to

(18:35):
this day there's still strife behind this situation. So there's
power and God is still helping me. There is power
in the waiting. It looks like you lost another one.

(18:57):
And then also, like I said verse eight, is powerful.
You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come
upon you. That word of bund means to be covered,
to be surrounded, to be clothed in His power. That's

(19:17):
when your ministry changes. That's when fear turns into boldness.
That's when you stop talking about the kingdom and start
walking in the kingdom. Amen, hallelujah. The disciples watch Jesus

(19:41):
as sind as he went back up into heaven. They
stood there and watched, But the angels told them not
to stand there gazing because Jesus is coming back. Family.
That is motivation right here, and not just building churches,

(20:06):
building lies ready for the return of Christ himself. Amen.
The thing is interesting that the angels told him that,
because who knows, they probably would have stayed there just

(20:26):
gazing into heaven. They were idle, they were not working,
they were not doing nothing, they were just sitting there gazing.
God doesn't want us just to sit and gaze. He
wants us to occupy until He comes. And so if

(20:51):
you have not experienced the power of the Holy Spirit,
the Bible says, we have not because we ask not.
We need to ask the Holy Spirit. We need to
ask the Father to give us that power, that boldness,
to give us the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It's

(21:19):
like a second experience, and we can be baptized many times.
It's not just a one time experience. But especially if
you have something to do, if you've been called on
to do something by God, if you have a ministry

(21:40):
of task and outreach, we need to ask for the
power of the Holy Spirit to empower us to accomplish
whatever God has put before us to do. Amen, hallelujah.

(22:02):
All right, let's take a quick music break. We'll be
right back.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
is the hiss Hop radio show.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
This was the times changed. People change, but that won't
change me.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Man.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
I'm always sir my God. But when they can't beat
from all my people riding in the church look like
a whole fleet, go out and make disciples of them. All.
I do that own beats D I double z y
L I double V. I know that sounds familiar. Put
the saint do on me? Got the same hoigh applause.
But the message run deep. Have to block out all
the sinding out That message gonna green. That's how you looking, Nattie.

(22:49):
You can't change nothing if you can't stagnant satisfaction is
one thing, But you can play sanatic cow won't open
the door if you ain't there waiting, Nattie, you need
proof of his greatness. Well maybe the I mean listening
God over dividends. He woke me up today.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
So what I look like?

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Ever given in power? In this word, I really found
my strength. And listening, Disney, you look brighter. That's the
Holy Spirit listening, and it's and it's God over everything.
And now I don't care about what you people think.
Let me tell you how do it. I just wait,
let me tell you how do it. I just I

(23:25):
keep God over everything. And now I don't care about
what you people think. Let me tell you how do it?
I just wait, let me tell you how.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
To do it.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
We got big three through price. Yet it's the anthem
for the saved. Hello be his name. I praise him
off for all my days. Holy Spirit with me, never
need to like to sage. I'm on the narrow path
now along the last inside the maze.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
This walk with Christ can be a rocky road, Bud.
He's with me through the fire, shot, ragged me, shack
and the bender go. I might fall seven times, but
I'll never fall. And then they asked me for my name.
This how to std I double Z. Why I like
double V. I know that sounds familiar, But the same
door on me, got the same high page, but the
message run deep. Had to block out all the sin

(24:10):
and out our message go green.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
That's how you.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Looking at it. You can't change none if you being stagnant.
Satisfaction is one thing, but you complacent at it. God
won't open the door if you went there waiting. Netti,
you need proof of this greatness, school that if you
looking at it, tell me, as you feeling me, this
life full of victory. He came to give his life
so we can have it more abundantly. Father, Are you
proud of me? You change the folks around to me.

(24:33):
Iron sharpens iron. So I had to set down boundary
and it's and it's God over everything, and now I
don't care about what you people think. Let me tell
you how do it? I just wait, let me tell
you how do it? I just uh huh, Yeah, I
keep God over everything, and now I don't care about
what you people think. Yeah, let me tell you how

(24:56):
do it? I just hold up. Let me tell you how.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
You are listening to the likes of Las Vegas. This
is the hiss hop radio show.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
It looks like you lost another one. That was our sister.
Dissey live right here local in Las Vegas. She's been
out to a few of our events. She's always been
a great supporter. That is the victory anthem right there.

(25:38):
Don't check her out. She's doing the thing out here
in Vegas, y'all. All right, now, it's time for the
Accountability Partners segment. This is where we come together as
a community. We consider this time like a small group,

(26:00):
but on the radio station right or on the app.
We come together in the Life Chat every day at
eleven o'clock am Pacific standard time. That is normally a
break time. Either you're at lunch, if you're at work,
or if you're at school. This is your recess right.

(26:21):
You can step out, eat your sandwich and put us
in your ear, play the podcast, and then go to
the Life Chat and meet us. If you need prayer,
if you got something going you know, you can let
us know as a group, if you are struggling in
your family, your marriage, your children, anything like that. There's

(26:43):
power and agreement. And this segment was birth for me
working the altar at church and noticing that people are
struggling with the same thing they struggle with like a
year ago. So sometimes you need that accountability partner. You
need someone at agree in prayer to see God move

(27:04):
in Me and my brother's on three. We get on
the call right after the podcast when he can. Sometimes
you know, of course, our schedules don't allow it, but
we try to at least two or three times a week.
Right after the podcast, we get on and a call,

(27:25):
we pray, we agree in prayer with each other, we
give each other updates, and you know, we fellowship. You know,
we talk about music or what's going on in our families,
and we pray together. And I've noticed an impact. I
know that there's been some power, and I know that
God is moving. And if you guys want to get
on that, we can make it a conference call. So

(27:48):
if you guys want to get on the call after
our podcast, we can do that. Amen. Also, I need
you to go to the top level menu on the
app and click that drop down, click on a podcast,
click on the hits Hot Radio podcast and then find

(28:09):
the link where it says accountability partner right there, and
you can fill that out and also request a follow up.
Go through the checklist. It's like a daily checklist, and
it can help you. For those who are really serious
about change, You're gonna put in the work. You're gonna
be honest with yourself. You're gonna see where are you,

(28:30):
where you're acting your walk with God. You're gonna go
through the steps and you know you're gonna you're gonna
do what needs to be done so that you can
get better results. You know, just like going to the gym,
you know you got to put in the work. You
can't cheat on your exercise. You can't skip on it

(28:50):
or be lazy because you're cheating yourself. This is here
to help you, to build you and to make you stronger.
And my heart is I want to make sure that
we're on this narrow road and that we're going to
make it into the Kingdom. There's a lot of people
even going to church, even in ministries, pastors who teach,

(29:15):
pastors on the internet. Doesn't matter if you have a
podcast or whatever a platform. Do you have a relationship
with the Lord? That is the bottom line. So that's
what we're here for and I pray that it will
bless your life. Or like a small group on the radio,

(29:37):
I kind of like that and get our fellowship on
and so here's the challenge, here's the exercises. We call
you accountability partner. Check in with them and ask these questions.
Am I waiting on God's timing? Am I rushing in

(30:00):
a head? You know, this is some topics you can
discuss and as well as examining your own life when
you're talking about it, maybe they know your walk in
the church, maybe they know your ministry and maybe there's
some things that we need to wait on God about.
Or how am I preparing to receive the power of

(30:21):
the Holy Spirit in my daily walk? Are you preparing
to receive the power of the Holy Spirit? It's a
daily walk, it's a daily decision. How do we prepare
wait on God? Amen? Pray together for a fresh infeeling

(30:44):
of the spirit. Amen. And I'm gonna do that today
with my brother's own. We're gonna pray together for a
fresh infeeling. Like I said, we can make that a
conference call. We hope that it grows eventually because we
need His power more than ever, especially in the day

(31:04):
we're living in right now. Man, we need God, We
need his power. Remember, it's that dunamus, It's that dynamite power.
Are you operating in this power? If not, you are
short changing yourself. This is a war, this is a battlefield.
Are you going to be a casualty or are you

(31:27):
going to operate in power? Hallelujah? A quick updates or
shout out for our platform, his Hot Radio, the radio
station and the radio network. If you downloaded the app,
you should notice that there is multiple radio stations on

(31:50):
the homepage. We are a radio network, but we promote
positive hip hop, rhythm and praise music, even additional worship music.
So there's something there for everyone. So mom, dad, even
the children. Everyone can download the app, and I believe

(32:11):
enjoy it and get value from it. Our heart behind
the app is to evangelize. We want you just to
play it. And when people begin to ask like, hey,
who's this artist, so who's that or whatever, don't send
them to Spotify, don't send them to YouTube. Send them
to the app because once you really look at it,

(32:32):
there's a lot of ministry in there. There's testimonies, there's
a video, there's a blog, there's our calendar or updates,
there is a lot, there's even classes. There's a comic strip.
We're trying to get that into schools. So if you're
in school, tell your teacher about the app and send
them to the comic strip. Or if you have a

(32:54):
Bible club or something like that, there's a curriculum there.
It's the form of a comic book, but it's there
to evangelize, to help people with their walk with God. Amen.
And also we are monitored in a reporting radio station.
If you have a project, a new song, just like

(33:14):
a brother zone, send it to us, submit it to us.
We got them in rotation and that will help him
get up on the his hot radio charts. But also
you need to purchase some of our promotional packages that
will really help you shoot up there, and that will
help us sustain what we got going. Amen. The Bible

(33:38):
says it's better to give than to receive into so
into good ground. Your donation can help somebody else make
it into the kingdom. Amen. Hallelujah. Is not about lining
my pockets, it's about reaching lives. Now it's time for trivia.

(34:04):
Get ready, get your fingers ready in the life chat
type in the answer. The first one wins today. And
we actually do have legitimate prizes we want to give away.
I have actually a game that I'm supposed to give
to his own three because he's been the winner. Hey man,
there's actually been a couple of other people that have

(34:26):
some challengers, some contenders in the life chat. But we
want to make it fun. But anyway, the question is
what city where the disciples commanded to stay until they
receive the Holy Spirit? What city was it? Post in

(34:51):
a life chat? Now your choices are was it Nazareth, Jerusalem?
Deft them? I mean a Bethlehem or Galilee? It looks
like you lost another one. All right, all right? I

(35:13):
signed for the community shoutouts. I want to shout out
the Exchange Club for blessing people on Veterans Day, and
I wanted to shout out. Actually my daughter and I
our oldest daughter. He went to this elementary school and
it was down town, like off of Bridger Street, and

(35:40):
I can't think of the name. There. They have a
statue of this guy who founded this like a public
charter school. You know, there was an artist and forgive
me about okay, all right, let me back up a
little bit because I really don't know the people. I
don't know the information because I was out taking care
of a few things and then my daughter hit me

(36:02):
up and said, hey, they're painting a mirror at this
local high school. And so at first I didn't feel
like going, you know, like, hey, it's a memorial Day,
you know what I mean, I mean Veterans Day, and
you want to enjoy your holiday. But I said, you
know what, let me go ahead and let's go and
take her. So this artist, I believe he's based out

(36:26):
of Miami, but he has a very stick connection with
the Hispanic community. He was bilingual, came in an orange jumpsuit.
There was another guy. When these guys had organizations, you know,
working with the youth, and there were some kids out there,

(36:48):
and so appearance as well, and we all got out there.
We painted this mirror on the wall. I asked him,
you know, they said they were painting some hearts and
then they said, ping some words of affirmation on the wall.
And I asked them adviking we could put a scripture
on there, and they're like, no, no, you can't. Separation

(37:09):
of church and state and all this stuff, right, So
but they said you could put faith on the wall.
So okay, at least they allowed us to write faith
on the wall. So it was fun. You know. It's
one of those things you don't know what you're getting into,
but you ended up having a good time. So and
I'm gonna post that in the highlights. If you haven't

(37:32):
kicked the app around yet, go to the top left menu,
hit that drop down and then go to either events
or podcast. I mean not not podcast nonprofit. I think
it might be events, and right in there you see
highlights of different events. We're gonna post our pictures there

(37:54):
and that's a spot where you can get, you know,
some of the highlights of the events we have throughout
the community. So if you have an event, let us know.
Go to the website hisshotnation dot com. Go to the
podcast page and you can see where you can give
us your time, date, your information and we will shout

(38:16):
you out here. Because we are a community radio station,
we want to stay connected to our community, so let
us know. We last, but not least, you want to
spotlight our organization, his how Nation. We've been around since

(38:37):
twenty twelve. We started out as a Christian nightclub. We
called it a light club, but a Christian club in
since City. We were off of Patrick in any Oakley
of five thousand square foot warehouse and that we were
able to minister for almost seven years, like six and
a half years. Every month we would do event, we

(39:00):
would do shows, we would reach the community. And you
know that was headquarters, right that was our headquarters. So
right before COVID we ended up moving out of that
location and we're looking to relaunch and reopened our headquarters

(39:21):
so that we can impact the community once again for Christ.
But we need community support. We need our family to
help us do that. That's why we became a nonprofit organization.
We are looking for grants, but we also need sponsors
and donors. And if you would like to support us

(39:42):
two dollars a dollar a month, five dollars. You can't
even buy a happy meal for five dollars anymore, right,
ten dollars. You know, whatever the Lord pray about it,
whatever the Lord puts on your heart, you can become
a supporter, help us to impact our community. And you

(40:02):
can do that on the website hishtnation dot com look
for the donations tab, or you can do that on
the app. Look for the donations tab on the app. Actually,
just click on his Hot Radio on the app and
scroll on the links at the top and you'll find
it there. So we appreciate that. We continue to visit

(40:25):
the juvenile detention centers. We're have an event with the police.
Actually on November twentieth, I'm going to be hosting an
event there. We do Bible studies, mentorships, events, concerts, podcasts, radio,
and we have programs where we want to teach the children.

(40:47):
If you want to see more of the nonprofit side,
I do more of the music side. My wife help
us with the programs of the nonprofit side. That's why
if you have two separate websites, go to is how
nation dot org if you want to see more of
our programs, and if you want to check out the

(41:09):
music side, go to his how nation dot com. You know, yeah,
you can do it right there. Amen. All right, family,
Well it was time to close it out. Today's message.
It reminds us but before we go out, we must

(41:33):
power up. And we say that again, before we try
to go out, we must power up. We gotta do
this on a daily basis. We need to start the
date in prayer. We need to wait on the Lord,
we need to walk in his spirit, and we need
to be witnesses wherever we go. Amen. And for some

(42:03):
of you, if you didn't know that there was another
experience in the Holy Spirit. If you've never been baptized
in the Holy Spirit, whether there's help today on this podcast,
we're gonna ask wherever you are, wherever you're at, stop
what you're doing, and let's get before God. Let's get

(42:24):
before the Holy Spirit, and let's ask him. Amen, Heavenly Father,
we come before you, and we lift up everyone under
the sound of my voice, and I lift up myself
as well. Father, we choose to wait on you today,
and we ask you for the infeeling and the baptism

(42:48):
and the dounius power of the Holy Spirit to come
on us. So God, may your spirit come on us,
So God, so that we can fulfill the challenges in
the world work for today. Holy Spirit, we ask you,
Oh God, to empower everyone listening on this podcast, everyone

and fill us with dunanus power. Help us, O God,
to overcome the areas of the flesh where we have
been struggling. Help us, O God, with powerful signs and

(43:33):
even wonders, O God, that we can be witnesses for
you in Judah, Judea, Samaria and unto the ends of
the earth. Oh God, May your witnesses stand up. Oh God,
we need your witnesses in this generation. My Father to

(43:55):
stand up, O God Father, forgive us. Were going out
ahead of you for trying to do your work and
accomplish kingdom business without waiting on you, without waiting for
your power, without waiting for your direction. We asked His

(44:18):
