Speaker 1 (00:05):
My buddy war wring offor Chad Boudreau is with me.
He has a book called mob Justice. Get It, Get
at after you're doing listen to this, then go get it. Okay,
I'm telling you. But he's agreed to do my famous
or infamous five random questions where I don't tell them
the questions they may want. If they watched one of
my previous shows, they can see it, but I don't
tell them the questions. Four of them and the fifth
(00:27):
question it can't do math is the same question I
ask everybody, but the first four a unique to them.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
So, Chad Boudreau, are you ready?
Speaker 3 (00:37):
I'm ready, good to be here.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I'm glad to have you here. Thank you for your time.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Number one. It's two thirty in the afternoon. And Chad,
what's a snack? What are some of his go to snacks?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Tortilla chips and salsa Texas style. You must like close,
not even close. I'm a tortilla chip guy.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
I love it. You're from Corpus Christy. You must love Queso, then.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Love keesa white and orange and whatever color.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Oh, I love it. Okay, there were two. What is
one major difference between Texas and Florida.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Attitude. Texas has its own attitude. I wrote a book
called Homecoming Queen that kind of captures South Texas. Now
there's four different regions at least in Texas, but we
all have this rebellious attitude that was forged from the
Alamo on. And I love Florida too, They're great people there,
but we have a different attitude.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I guess. I believe.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I believe that. But Texas is just so huge. It's
like California. I've driven through there, like we're still here.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
I guess, well yeah, And I mean your listeners may
know this already, but if you drive from Houston to
El Paso, which is east and west extremes of Texas,
you're halfway to California.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
You mean, yes, yeah, definitely. I've been to both cities them. Okay,
there were three. Well, you're you're you're driving from Houston
to El Passel and a car ride. And what is
one artist or group that has to be on the playlist?
Pearl Jam Oh, very good?
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Okay? Is there an album? Is there an album like
more than others? Like all of them?
Speaker 3 (02:26):
We started with ten and you know, Ten came out
when I was in college and I gravitated toward that,
and then I started playing guitar, and then I wanted
to play like Mike McCready for Pearl Jam, which I
can't do, but I try and look stupid doing it.
But no, from lyrics to the music, I love going
to Pearl Jam concerts, and I go to at least
(02:47):
once a year. They they they're down a drummer right now.
Their drummer retired, so they're trying to get a new
drummer in there that fits the band, which I'm sure
there's a chemistry there that is kind of.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Hard to uh to replay.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
But but I'm dying right now because I should already
have been to my Pearl Gym concert and I'm binging
a little bit having needed to go. And they're other
than being out near you and Data Point, what do
they do with kind of a low hawk kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I don't have. I don't have a tour schedule yet. Yes,
I've seen a culcert.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
They're good. They're good. Any veterans are good. Yes, good
albums ten and Vitology. I got into those a lot.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
I was.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Right out of college. We're were on the same made agains,
so I was out of college. So yes, I was there.
I was in there. That was my That was that
was one of my my Maine. That and Allison Chains
or my two that people. I feel like people sleep
on Alison Chains like they do. Very underrated. Yeah, well
Allison Chains, the MTV Unplugged they did is one of
the best albums ever ever reported. Well totally fully not
(03:52):
fight you on that completely, I agree, I agree. I
just I just think to seeing everything just there, just
and people on the little side. No, folks, if you
got on Jeopardy order, they actually in terms of chart dominance,
they had more number one albums.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Than the other groups.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
They always they always kept they kept going and but
that and they have some people know some of the song,
but like they see, I don't know, they didn't get
the They weren't Stone Temple Pilots, I guess, so they
weren't you know, sound gard I don't.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I don't know what it was.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
But I just I was a huge fan of there,
of all their stuff, and I just always mentioned them when.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
I can because I can.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Unre four four we showed you far on four. What
was your first car?
Speaker 3 (04:35):
My first car was a nineteen eighty eight Mustang GT
five point zero.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Okay, that's nice. First car.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah I had, well I had. I probably shouldn't have
had that car. I should have had a beat up Chevy,
you know, like not worth anything. That was way too
much car for me.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
When I was sixteen. I love it.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
I tried to get so so both of my so
I had my stepfather and my mom. They worked really
dog hours and we were living in Corpus Christie, and
I think the intent was that I would get a
hardship license so I could drive when I was okay,
But I was denied the hardship license, so my car
sat in the garage for a year, which made it
(05:19):
much more dangerous for me when I finally got behind
the wheel.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
So, yeah, folks don't understand back in the day we
had these little these different little rules and things. Because
you mis mentioned that I just gave me a mention.
I got to work at fourteen years old. I got
a special permit. So my mother died help my father
had left my mother need help, and I found a
job that was I was a day camp counselor involved
that it was a night It was a nice job
(05:42):
with my sister, but they were like I got to
get special permission because our thingk was fifteen year permits,
sixteen worked sixteen up in California. But I got one
at fourteen. I was ready to work. I was ready
to go, and they were like, this guy's with schure.
But they had special like kind of a hardship. It
wasn't called heart. I thought it was called I got
a special permit. So it's funny how it looked that
you mentioned that I'm not talking about that ever on
my shows.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
That's so funny.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
I was denied the hardship license, so you denied. Wow,
I'm probably very smart. The one time when you know
those kind of rules.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Like that, you're like, it's it's for your own safety.
And the fifth question I asked you to everybody, I
always make jokes that it's just like life. It's one
way or the other. Now, So, chadboo jo apples are oranges. Apples.
You said it's so fast. I love it. He said,
it fast. You don't even think about it. Apples you
(06:38):
go out. You're in Florida, the Orange capital, of course.
But that makes you actually laugh, folks, Chadboo Joe's mob
justice is out. Uh, Like I said, Now you know
you can turn us off. Go on your phone. You
know you go nowhere, Go on your phone whatever and
go get it. But watch our interview which is over
at in between page with James Jr.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
