have slated for the But I do want to share
with you today that we're going to be talking about
(04:36):
the intuitive path. Intuition is something that I really started
to look into on my journey almost 20 years ago
when I started to get into spirituality, mediumship, psychic sciences, healing,
a lot of things that I just was not familiar with.
(04:58):
And one of the first classes I ever took was
at a institute down in California called the Berkeley Psychic Institute.
And it was based on Intuition 101. So today we're
going to talk about the intuitive path and revealing some
hidden realms that are all around us. Now, for those
of you that are following us through Omtimes Television, thank
you for tuning in. You can actually get video of
(05:18):
us now for those of you that catch the encore
show or are listening through the global player, catching the
audio of the podcast format. Thanks for listening in. But
on the television format, you can see a lot of
different things. In my video, I have a new laptop
and I have a new camera. After several years of
doing this, the laptop finally made me, it literally crashed
and died overnight. So we sent that off to technology heaven,
(05:41):
I guess. And I had to get an updated, you know,
with technology. And so you may be seeing a different,
more clear picture of my studio today. This is my
studio here in Seattle. Just off my camera, you'll see
that there's an EMF meter right here. I always like
to have that on when I'm doing my readings or
doing shows because I've learned through my education and my
(06:03):
own journey of knowledge and consciousness that just because we
don't see it doesn't mean that it's not here. There's
many things that we can talk about today, and one
of them is going to be intuition because intuition is
not necessarily seen. It's something that's felt. And one of
the things that we do in the spiritual awareness environment,
(06:25):
in that world of spirituality and tuning into something bigger
than yourself to know thyself, we always talk about that
the body loves movement, the mind loves stillness. And what
I do in my journey and my work and my
teachings and with my students, I always talk about the
scientific bridge between spirituality and science. Einstein believed in this,
Carl Sagan believed in this, that we have to use
(06:47):
science and spirituality as a bridge between where many times
you'll see that religion doesn't want anything to do with science,
and maybe science doesn't want anything to do with religion,
but it's much different in the spiritual context. So I
like to use tools during my live shows or during
my expos or events or lectures to give people that
awareness and that knowledge that just because we don't see
(07:08):
it doesn't mean that it's not around us. Just like
the wifi signal that connects us, just like the energy
that makes all these devices go. So I like to
have an EMF meter off the camera And so if
you see this fluctuate during the show, that's letting you
know that energy is shifted into the space. Sometimes people
comment that they see orbs flying behind me, different things.
(07:29):
There's no smoke and mirrors. This is my studio. This
is who I am. And it's just picking up things
that are not necessarily seen with the physical eye. And
if we bring the science into this based on what
we know today, because I believe that science tells us
the truth of today of what we know, but it's also,
it keeps the door cracked open to what we don't know,
just like physics, just like quantum theory and quantum mechanics,
(07:51):
just like AI that was a theory back in the
50s is now a reality today, right? Something that was
science fiction back then is now becoming science back today.
I know there's many debates on the AI and the
robotics and, you know, we're moving in. I just saw
a report that LA is going to build its first
hub of flying cars. Welcome to the Jetsons. I grew
up with the Jetsons cartoon and there was, you know,
the whole cartoon was based on flying cars. Well, we're
(08:13):
moving in from that science fiction into science reality supported
by science. And so I like to bring science into it.
And there's, like I said, there's many things from the
air that we breathe to the gravity that we feel
to the wind that blows through the trees. We don't
see any of these things, but we know that they're necessary, right?
Because without gravity, I guess we'd all be floating around
(08:34):
without air. We don't fill our lungs in the physical,
you know, process of being. And You know, I look
out my street all the time and I've always just
been fascinated with seeing the trees move, but I don't
see what's actually moving the trees. Another example, as we
talk about the intuitive path today, is the sun that
you see shining is not real time sun. The stars
(08:55):
that you see shining are not real time stars. You
are seeing the past being into your present. It takes
eight minutes for the sun to reach the planet Earth
for us to actually physically see it. The stars that
you see, they're always there. They're always shining. But they're
not shining as is. They're a relic of the past,
some being millions, if not billions, years old. So that,
(09:18):
to me, is a fascinating concept. And intuition is very
much that same way. And so on this episode today,
if you're tuning in, if you want to leave a
comment on our live feeds on Omtimes Television, please do so.
We'll be checking the chats as we go along. I'm
just opening it up right now.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
And....
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Intuition is very much that same thing. It is a feeling.
It's a knowing. The knowing is also a term that
we call claircognizance. We have our scientific senses that we'd
all agree, most of us would agree upon today. Science
would confirm if you have a physical incarnated body, you
have physical flesh, you have senses and touches, you can
(09:58):
see something, you can taste something, you can hear. something
you can smell something and you can feel something right
now that i know that doesn't apply for everybody because
everybody has different senses or maybe you know through injury
or through um you know an accident they lost some
of their senses i get that but science at its
core would would tell us that we can see it
taste it touch it hear it and smell it On
top of our five physical senses in the scientific community,
(10:20):
we move from a spiritual context in, we bridge that
gap into our other senses called the clairs, clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, clairgestensence, clairfactory, claircognizance.
Now in the body, we have the brain, which is processing,
and then we go to sleep and don't do anything.
And it totally lights up. Science teaches that the brain
(10:41):
is more active asleep than it is awake. So that's
why I talk about, it's really important to have movement
for the physical body but also to have stillness for
the mind. That's that yin and yang balance of what
we do. But when we apply our clairs on top
of our physical five senses, the clairs allow us to
start to embrace and become aware of intuition. Intuition is
(11:03):
something we call the gut feeling. There's actually a brain
down in your gut, not your digestive system, not your stomach,
but your solar plexus chakra. it's the same place that
you started with life connected to the umbilical cord and
breathe fluid for nine months before you incarnated into physical form.
So this area of the belly button, I'm pointing to
my belly button for those that can't see the live
(11:24):
video feed. I'm pointing to my stomach because that is
your most sensitive, most psychic area. And now when I
use the words psychic, I'm not predicting somebody's future. Now,
when I started down this road 20 years ago, that's
what I thought it was. I thought that's what psychic was.
Psychic by definition at the root cause broken down into
Greek philosophy is of the soul. It's to really understand
(11:48):
your soul. So everybody is psychic if they choose to be.
Some people don't want to be like they don't want
to know themselves. They don't want to go deeper like
a layers of an onion and peel back the layers.
You know, that's the psychic in that to know something
of the soul, the journey of the soul, awareness of
the soul. something of why you're here, right? That's much
different than mediumship. And mediumship is about connecting to those
(12:10):
that have lived a physical life, have passed through what
we call death. Right now we're calling it death. And
that's even changing with science as we speak to connecting
to somebody that lives in a different frequency. Because people
all the time as a medium say, Mark, where is heaven?
Where is hell? And I say, they're not of actual
physical location. They're a vibration. And so when you look
at the word psychic, when you look at the words intuition, intuition,
(12:33):
and we're talking about the intuitive path today, intuition is
trusting something that's not necessarily fit that's that is seen.
Sometimes it can be, it can be confirmed on the
vision or hearing or smell, but a lot of times
it goes down to the solar plexus or that trusting
of the gut to know thyself and to listen to
that higher calling, that higher self, that thing that drops in,
you're like, well, maybe I shouldn't have. And then fear
(12:53):
kicks in and you're like, well, maybe I shouldn't because
my brain is telling my, my other brain, these two
brains fight, the yin and yang of the two brains, uh,
which has nothing to do with the heart, by the way. Um,
But you can actually add the heart as far as clairsentience,
the ability to feel. So the ability to feel is
called clairsentience. The ability to know is called claircognizance. And
what is the largest organ on the body? The human skin.
(13:17):
So you're actually like a receiving antenna if you choose
to be. So I believe that everybody can be psychic
if they choose to be. But not every psychic is
a medium because not everybody has that ability to actually
get evidential information from somebody that's lived a physical life.
pass through the portal of death and comes back and communicates.
All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are medium.
(13:37):
And that took me a while to kind of grapple
with and accept that. I don't want to take away
from your abilities, but as I've studied this in great
detail over the last 20 years, I've gone to colleges,
I've traveled abroad, I've had mentors, understanding the philosophy and
(14:00):
the science of between the two, Everybody is a psychic
if they choose to be because you have free will
and choice. The intuition, I believe, is everybody has that
intuitive hit, trusting your gut, get a sense. I just
knew it, but I can't rationalize it because that's where
the brain comes in. The brain, especially the left hemisphere,
is about logic, analytics, reasoning, control, ego, right? And when
(14:23):
you shift out of that left hemisphere of the brain,
you shift into the right hemisphere. That's where your creativity,
your intuition, your imagination, everything that Einstein always talked about
was always in the right hemisphere of the brain, not
the left hemisphere. Now, you may say, Mark, how do
you know so much about the brain? Well, let me
tell you, after doing many, many seasons of inspired living,
we've talked to many several experts from many different hospitals, universities, scholars, authors,
(14:47):
experiencers that talk about the neuroplasticity and the rewiring of
the brain, including my own journey with the journey of
my brother's brain cancer called glioblastoma. who went through two
brain mapping surgeries before his passing. And I actually sat
down with surgeons and talked about the brain and the
understanding and the fascination and the things we just don't
know about the brain. And it's fascinating that, again, once
(15:10):
we once we, you know, coined something science fiction over
the over the years and transformation, it becomes science fact.
And so that's why I started to learn about intuition
and that that concept that I said is just because
we don't see it. doesn't mean that it's not around us.
And I've given you several examples, and that's why I
keep the EMF meter off my right, because I can
catch it in my peripheral and be like, oh, the
(15:31):
energy has shifted. If you go back to Nikola Tesla
in the late 1800s, when he was doing his experiments
in Colorado, he always talked about unlocking the secrets of
the universe. And Einstein would collaborate with this, Gene Roddenberry.
If you want to check out a fascinating historical story
on Gene Roddenberry. Oh my gosh. I just learned, um,
(15:52):
I'm a student of history. I love history. Um, but
what Gene Roddenberry went through before he became the Gene
Roddenberry of Star Trek that we know today. Um, wow.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
What a, just a, what an amazing story. And so
grateful that he lived to be later in life and
give us the stories of Star Trek, but you know,
Nikola Tesla and Einstein and Sagan and, um, Hawkins, they
all talked about if you want to have a greater
awareness to what's going on around you. You have to
think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. Just like
(16:24):
when I said earlier, where is heaven and where is hell?
I don't believe that those are actual locations. I can
understand why people think what heaven would be up because
in my own near death experience, I'm going to a
near death experience conference on Friday to explore further. We
do ascend out of our bodies. We actually do rise up.
(16:44):
I've talked to many people about this. I've interviewed people,
my own experience. We do rise up out of the body.
We lift up and re-ascend in our perspective is an up.
And so we just assume that heaven must be a
place up in the clouds. But we're on a round
planet in a big ball of space that's infinite going
around a ball of fire and at 130,000 miles per hour.
(17:08):
So thank God for gravity because you imagine what that
ride would be. We're on a space rocket if you
think about it. But there is no up or down. metaphysically, scientifically,
we're on a round planet. So you can't go up
to a place and you can't go down to a place.
But what you can do when the energy of your
body leaves and decarnates out of physical form, the energy
by the laws of physics has to go somewhere. So
(17:28):
see where I'm applying the scientific to the spiritual and
that bridge, because we know upon death, they've done many,
many studies that the energy leaves the heart space, which
your heart is your motor. It stops working. That means
breath and lungs and body and movement and all that
good stuff. But we've also started to learn through the
DMT that's in our pineal gland, which is in the
center of the brain, connected to the aorta, uses the
(17:48):
second most blood flow from the heart. It also has
a little thing called cilias wrapped around this almond-shaped gland,
which we call the third eye. So in this fluid,
in this sac, shaped like a third eye, are these
little cilias, little hairs that actually pick up vibration based
on energy. So what we've learned upon the study of
death is not only does energy leave the body, The
(18:11):
body loses a little bit of weight. So why do
we lose weight when we die, right? It's something you
have to ask yourself. But we've also started to learn
that DMT, when the brain actually does its last firing,
I just shared this on one of my pages, the
DMT in the third eye actually leaves the body as well.
So if any of you have ever worked or talked
about or experienced DMT like I have many, many times
(18:33):
through plant medicine ceremonies now, 94% of us, 94% of
us have actually validated our experience with something higher than ourselves,
a deity, a God, grandmother, Gaia, mother earth, whatever you
want to call it, 94% based on a DMT experience. Now,
not everybody goes and uses DMT, but most people don't
realize that you still have DMT in your pineal gland,
(18:56):
but it all comes down to free will and choice.
What do you want to use? What do you want
to access? Eckhart Tolle always reminds us the greatest agent
for change is through your own awareness. If you choose to, again,
free will and choice, again, psychic of the soul to
know thyself to journey. The journey of a thousand miles
begins with what? A single step, right? We have lessons
and what we resist persists and lessons repeat until they complete, right?
(19:19):
So this is where we start to get into the
discussion of the intuitive path in unveiling the hidden realms.
So let's just start by the definition. I like to
just break it down. I always say if I, if
I can't explain it, um, Oh, well, um, I've got
(19:39):
a split view. Okay. That's something new. Again, bear with me.
I'm live on the television. There's new things I'm learning,
but there's a split screen that I can use. And
I didn't know I could do that for my notes.
But let's just break it down to explaining this like
a six-year-old. I've always said, I try to not have
opinion about things I don't know. And if I can't
(20:01):
explain it to a six-year-old, I can't explain it myself.
So intuition itself, let's just start with what it defines
what we mean intuition. And intuition can be described as
the ability to understand something instinctively, right? Without the need
for conscious reasoning. So a lot of times people move
into fight or flight or freeze. That's an instinct, right?
(20:23):
Many police officers in the line of duty have talked
about time slowing down when they've actually been shot at.
They can see the bullet coming at them. A lot
of professional athletes have this cognitive ability to slow things down,
especially baseball players, right? Baseball players can slow that ball,
nor they become a great hitter, right? And so it's
(20:43):
your ability to understand something instinctively without the need for conscious,
which is in the left hemisphere of the brain, the ego,
the reasoning, the logic, the competitiveness, the greed, whatever you
want to add to that left hemisphere. But it's that
gut feeling. And again, so if we go back down
(21:03):
to the solar plexus, down in your belly button, just
stick your finger in your belly button for a second
and go, oh, that's where I incarnated. That's where I originated.
That's your marker. That's your, oh, what do you call
it when you build something and you put it in?
I'll think of it here in a second. But it's
where you began, right? It is in the belly button.
(21:23):
That's the start of everything because that's where life is in,
you know, that's where incarnated life begins. And so it's
really that gut feeling, that second brain down in your stomach.
It has nothing to do with your stomach. We say
trust your gut because that's where that second brain is,
if you will. And it's really about that inner voice,
(21:50):
that inner voice that often leads us down paths we
might not consciously choose. And so there's your higher self,
there's your intuition kicking in, right? And so for giving
a historical example, if you consider the case of Marie Curie,
the pioneering physicist and chemist, Curie's intuition guided her towards
(22:15):
discovering radium and polyneum that would go on, these two
elements would go on to revolutionize science. And during that time,
despite facing immersed skepticism, an obstacle, especially as a woman
in a male dominated field, her instincts to trust her
(22:36):
gut led her to trust her experiments and insights. And
it ultimately earned her two Nobel peace prices. So, um,
or two Nobel prizes in science, not peace prizes. So,
you know, there's different intuition throughout different cultures. Um, intuition
isn't just a modern concept anymore. It has roots in
(23:00):
various cultures throughout history. I came to understand this intuition
and my own connection through DMT, uh, to what I
would call grandmother, the divine feminine mother earth, uh, have many,
I've had many conversations again, 94% of people that have
experienced a DMT, um, outlet or journey have experience connecting
to something bigger than themselves. Very loving, very supportive, not frightening,
(23:23):
not what you see in a Hollywood movie. So let
me just give you that context. But many indigenous cultures
have long valued intuitive knowledge and work with plant medicines
to gain that intuitive knowledge. There's many cultures even just
down in Peru, South America, just south of where I'm
at in the United States. There's cultures down there that
have been using plant medicines and even microdosing with little
(23:45):
plant medicine ceremonies for their children to give them the
perspective of what is seen by the physical eye and
what is unseen by the third eye. So I always
remind my students, my clients, we have three eyes in life,
two to look, one to see, right? And so if
you take that knowledge and these indigenous cultures have long
valued and use this intuitive knowledge, often view it as
(24:08):
a vital part of their spiritual practice, guess what? You
become a little bit more spiritual than you do religious
because you're now focusing on you as the equipment, you
and the senses. If you take the Native American tribes,
for example, their connection to nature and their reliance on
intuitive understanding have guided their traditions and survival strategies for centuries.
The Lakota, the Sioux, for instance, emphasize the importance of
(24:30):
dreams and visions as intuitive guides, often interpreting them as
messages from the spirit world. And they would actually go
on spirit quests They would sit in a, they would
actually box themselves for, you know, until they actually had
a connection without food, without water. They'd go on these
spiritual quests. And I've always been, you know, long fascinated
with our dreamscape, right? We are the species that sleeps
(24:52):
a third of our lives. We shut down. And then
we have three states of consciousness, right? We're in the
awakened state right now of consciousness. A few hours from now,
I'm going to go to sleep. I'm going to move
into the sleep state of consciousness. And then we know
by science that science teaches the brain is more active
asleep and still we're being still. So the brain's more
active asleep than we are awake. And then we move
into a third state of consciousness, which is the dreamscape.
(25:15):
And the brain actually changes its frequencies. You know, we've
got different frequencies, alpha, beta, theta, delta, and the brain
will actually move based on different sleep studies. We'll move
into different consciousness areas of consciousness. Again, think in terms
of energy, frequency and vibration, something's not necessarily a location.
It's a vibration like a radio station that we can
attune to. So I always tell my students, my clients,
(25:37):
do you have a dream journal? Do you keep track
of your dreams? Because there's a lot of communications that
can take place through the dreamscape. And one of the
big things that you can start to do before we
go to break to trust your intuition is to actually
get a dream journal and to start writing down your visions,
your dreams, how you feel when you wake up. I
always refer to it as the PEMS of what I
teach on the physical, the emotional, the mental, the material,
(26:00):
because we all live in this material world. crazy world.
And my EMF meter is going off by the way,
and the spiritual. So the five PEMS or the five
P E M M S is the acronym that I
always teach on physical, emotional, mental, material, and spiritual. Then
we wake up and we restart the whole awakened consciousness again.
So if you keep a dream journal, there's a lot
of messaging that you're missing because you sleep a third
(26:23):
or maybe like me, as you get older, maybe half
your life you spend in bed. But I've always long
wondered about that. That's one of the many curiosities and
fascinations of the human experience is why do we sleep?
At some point when we learned that we're not alone
in this world, in this universe, one of the questions
I have for the extra dimensional beings, the ETs, the
aliens is like, do you guys sleep? Do you guys
(26:43):
actually sleep? Or is it more of a state of consciousness?
So again, we have three states of consciousness, awakened, asleep,
and dream. Get that dream journal, start to write down
your dreams and have conversations and recall, you know, take
notes on your, your journey, because that's going to start
to activate the intuitive pineal gland in the brain And
when we come back from break, we're going to explore
this in deeper historical scientific formats. But I have no
(27:08):
doubt you're going to be curious to what lies ahead
in the intuitive path in unveiling hidden realms. We'll be
right back here on Inspired Living.
Speaker 3 (27:22):

Walk a mile in my shoes. Well, before you abuse, criticize,
(29:45):

The Intuitive Prospector. And before we dive back into the
intuitive path and unveiling hidden realms, I want to give
a shout out to this artist over in Bainbridge who
gave me this beautiful beautiful coffee cup it's got a
it's got the octopus um on the front of it
for those of you that aren't watching the television video
(30:36):
uh segment but for the podcast it's a very beautiful
cobalt blue and we were over in Bainbridge a couple
weekends ago doing some troll hunting because we have the
famous trolls here in the Pacific Northwest they're all actually
all around the world and uh one of the listeners
of the show um actually listened said hey I know
who you are thanks for doing what you do and
she actually gifted me this beautiful mug and I love
(30:57):
the octopus um just for the fact that one, it's
probably gonna be my next tattoo, but the other one
is it's the only species on the planet, octopi, that
have no genetics related, no cousins at all related to humans.
So when people say, have you actually seen an alien?
I'm like, yes, many, many times. They're like, really? They're fascinating.
(31:19):
They're automatically going to something from outer space. No, it's
right here in our own oceans. They have different blood type,
different blood color, I believe they have like eight brains,
three hearts. Each of their limb is actually sentient, each
of its limbs. And so I've seen as an advanced
diver for many years, I've seen and interacted with the
(31:40):
octopi and it's a fascinating species, but it's the only
species not relatable to anything on the planet. Therefore it
doesn't come from this planet. So yes, I've seen many,
many aliens. And so thank you to her. I give
her a shout out for the coffee cup over in
Bainbridge Island. I also want to just say, you know,
just give a shout out to the late, great Dolly Parton.
(32:04):
Her passing, we all heard, I'm sure many of us
have heard today or throughout, you know, this point that
she had made her transition at the age of 80.
And just one, just a brilliant, awesome, I don't, I
can't think of anybody that did not like Dolly Parton.
I grew up with Dolly Parton, her music, her shows,
the movie 9 to 5. I guess she doesn't need
(32:24):
to worry about that anymore, working 9 to 5. But
just the one person in history that we could say
had 100 percent favorable rating.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Right.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
It's hard to say that with many people in today's
divided society. But just give her a shout out. Very
inspirational human being. The world is it's less bright today
without her presence in our world. And so very inspired
by the wonderful, amazing person. loving Ms. Dolly Parton. So
thank you for your music. Thank you for your inspiration
(32:54):
and your positivity and all of your quotes. And I
know that you'll be circulating throughout history. So thank you, Ms. Parton.
All right. So let's talk about the intuitive path. I
was kind of just giving you a synopsis and some
history talking about the Native American tribes. And for you
listening to this, you know, maybe this is something you've
experienced this this intuitive hit this intuitive knowledge, but you
(33:18):
can't rationalize it. So one don't try to, right. But
you know, intuition plays a crucial role in maybe you're
an artist, maybe your creativity. I have no doubt. Speaking
of the late, great, wonderful Ms. Dolly Parton, I have
no doubt in my mind that she knew how to
access that intuition because intuition plays a crucial role in
(33:40):
both art and our creativity. Um, She is not only
a renowned artist. I mean, I grew up with her.
I'm in my 50s, so she passed at 80. So
she's been in my entire life, right? Many awards, many songs.
But they have relied on their intuitive insights to create
transformative works. And I believe that Miss Dolly Parton would
(34:01):
fall into that category. I'm curious as more information will
come out about her journey, more coverage on her story.
It'll be interesting if there's any reveal of her intuitive
gifts within the music community. I'm curious to see, I
always say, wait, watch and witness. That's a forecast, a
(34:23):
psychic prediction, if you will. But Gene Roddenberry, same thing.
A lot of people didn't know until after his passing
that his wife confirmed that he actually had the ability
to be a clairvoyance, the ability to see. He wrote
a lot of things that in that point in the
late 50s, early 60s would be considered science fiction and
that have now transpired to actually have some science relativity
(34:43):
or science facts or science concepts that have taken hold
based on his writings. So you've got two people right there,
Dolly Parton and Gene Roddenberry. And I'm going to give
you some more, including the great Pablo Picasso is a
prime example of trusting your intuition. And his shift towards
what was called cubism in abstract forms was not just
(35:05):
a stylistic choice. So he would actually do like cubes,
in abstract forms. And I've watched many films where he'd
just start with a blank piece. It's like Bob Ross, right?
He'd start with a blank piece and all of a sudden,
friendly little trees here. And I'd be like, how do
these people do that? I can't barely draw a stick figure.
How do they do that, right? So to me, it's
almost like they're accessing that intuitive right side of the
(35:27):
hemisphere brain. And Pablo Picasso is a prime example of
that because he made this stylistic choice with an intuitive
leap into expressing deeper truths about reality. That's fascinating to me.
Picasso once said, quote, every act of creation is first
an act of destruction, end quote. Every act of creation
(35:50):
is first an act of destruction. And he highlighted how
his intuition often led him to break away from the
traditional forms to explore new artistic realms. So if you're
an artist, if you're a musician and you're thinking about
break free from those norms, break free from, you know,
status quo and what, you know, keeping up with the
joint Joneses.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
You'll probably be considered a rebel or, you know, going
against the system. But by all means do that. If
you don't risk it, there's no biscuit. For many years,
I was labeled because I was a psychic medium professional
coach would get all sorts of feedback. Now I'm glad
that I do it, but you've got to face the music.
You've got to push through that. that criticism because everybody's
(36:32):
going to be a pundit or a skeptic or give
you no, you know, I don't know if it was
Plato or one of the great Greek philosophers that talked
about the only way that you're never going to get
judged in life is to never do anything, say anything
or be anything. And what a boring life that must be.
So go explore, push the status quo, push past barriers,
(36:52):
question everything. Life is short, question everything. It's a Take
that leap. That's why we call it a leap of faith, right?
And intuition is a leap of faith, journeying deeper into
that intuitive path. And through that, you're going to start
to unveil your own hidden realms, or as I like
to say, not only discover the diamond within, but also
(37:15):
reveal the many hidden gems that are all around us.
And it just takes time and patience. And of course,
free will and choice always applies, right? So the science
of intuition, like I said, I like to bridge the
gap between the two. More recently, scientists have started to
study intuition. In fact, science is now thinking that death
may not even be a real thing. When that DMT
(37:35):
is released at the time of death, that TMT and
the energy, they're starting to think that this is a
combination that allows us to access consciousness as a whole.
And that the memories that we have in our brain,
think of all the memories you've had, thousands and thousands
and millions and millions of memories since incarnation. I learned
about this from my brother's brain cancer is that the
memory and the speech is in the left hemisphere, right
in your left temporal. So I'm pointing to my temporal,
(37:58):
which is right to the left of the eye, your temples.
And there's only just a little area of the brain
that actually stores that. And I'm thinking, well, man, that's
a small place to store so much energy and memories
and thought and consciousness. But now we have this technology
concept uploaded to the cloud. I just had to do
this with my laptop. All my stuff was already on
the cloud. So when my old laptop died, my new
laptop was able to download. And I think that's what
(38:19):
we're really starting to understand that death isn't the end.
It's more of an upload download, right? Incarnate, decarnate. Live, die,
live again, right? And we can upload through the energy
of our heart and through the DMT release in our brain,
wherever that source is. And whatever source is for you,
everybody has a different definition. I don't personally know. I
just know that there is something after this physical flesh shoot,
(38:42):
working a nine to five, pun intended, working a nine
to five job ends, that we go somewhere. Again, some
call that heaven. Some would debate and say there is
none of the above. Some would say it's hell. Some
would say this is hell that we're living in. Sometimes
I wake up and go, maybe this is the living
hell that we're living in based on the planet Earth.
That's how we experience that, right? But in the understanding
(39:04):
of intuition, seeking to understand its mechanisms, research in both
neuroscience and quantum science is really starting to indicate that
intuition rises from a combination of our experiences, our knowledge,
our educations, and our subconscious processing. So I always say
that the experience begins our journey. The experience leads us
(39:29):
to education. Education leads us to knowledge. Knowledge hopefully leads
some of us, if not all of us, to wisdom.
And at some point, that wisdom, you take that wisdom
and some would call that the move to enlightenment. Now,
in my understanding of enlightenment, you still got to do
the chores that you normally do in life. Just because
you're enlightened doesn't mean you just sit on a cloud
and yell and chant OM all day long, right? That's
(39:51):
what I always thought enlightenment was, but it's not, right?
And so the science of intuition is really, again, it's
a combination of our experiences, our education, our knowledge, and
then that subconscious processing of all those experiences. So, you know,
in historic example, Daniel Kahneman in the 1990s, he was
a psychologist and he explored the concept of what is
(40:13):
called fast thinking versus slow thinking. So fast thinking versus
slow thinking. And his work illustrated how intuition often leads
to quick decisions based on a gut feeling supported by
data from various fields, including economics and behavioral sciences. Kahneman's
insights revolutionized our understanding of decision making and intuition. And
(40:35):
this is what I tell people when they ask me like, hey, Mark,
what if how do I know if it's intuition or
if it's my own imaginations? And intuition is usually if
it happens within the three-second time frame. Remember, we're the
only species that measure our life by a construct of time, right?
Time is not relevant or the same outside of the
physical incarnate human experience. It's much, much different, past, present, future.
(40:57):
Watch Interstellar if you want to understand time. That's a
great way. I think Christopher Nolan, who just did The Odyssey,
which now is the largest grossing movie-making movie, R-rated movie
of all time in the billions, He did a really
good job of explaining the theory of relativity that Einstein
had proposed almost a century ago to the point of
(41:17):
explaining it in layman's terms to where we can understand
time and our relevance to time and space. It's quite fascinating.
But if you base it on the construct of time
and you think of something, there's usually a delay. If
you're thinking about something, there's usually a gap. If something
just drops in instantaneously before that three second timeframe, that's
(41:40):
what I tell people. That's an intuitive hit. That's a download.
That's a glimmer. If we have time to process the subconscious,
I'm pointing to my left hemisphere of my brain, my
left side. If we have time to think about it,
then we've probably created it, manifest it, thought about it,
or our imagination is kicked in. So really get into
that intuitive spot is really kind of clearing the mechanism,
clearing the mind. and just sit, and then all of
(42:02):
a sudden it drops in. And it's usually, I give
it a three second because people can understand that what's
the difference between imagination and intuition. Imagination takes a little
bit more time. Intuition is almost an instantaneous hit. And
that's what his study showed through that scientific back in
the 1990s about fast thinking versus slow thinking. So as
we jump to today, many individuals and many movements, like
(42:25):
I said, many cultures, both ancient and modern, are embracing
intuitive practices as a means of navigating the complexities of
modern day life. Like I said, it's interesting because I
think Facebook just, I think, if I read this correctly,
they just settled like a $ 17 billion lawsuit based on
the social media harms for our species and our children.
(42:48):
$ 17 billion is a lot of money, y'all. I probably
won't see any of that, but they're settling now because
they'd probably pay more close to a trillion. But the
social media construct has really changed society and how we
interact with one another, how we think. It's divided us.
It's keyboard warriors behind the keyboard with an opinion about everything,
and their opinion becomes fact. Well, you're entitled to your opinion,
(43:08):
but you're not entitled to fact, right? So as we
move through this chaos of what I've coined the roaring
20s of transformation, and we've got four more years to go,
as far as it's using your intuition to navigate whether
it's social media, whether it's A.I., Whether it's an algorithm
that you clicked on, maybe be mindful of what you're
clicking on because that triggers an algorithm through the TikTok,
(43:30):
through your Instagram, through your Facebook. Soon to be robotics.
We're going to have robotics. That is happening, y'all. Whether
you believe it or not, science fiction becoming science fact.
I have watched the rise of robotics from Boston Dynamics
almost 15 years ago. I followed Boston Dynamics when they
first were a startup. to what they're doing today, to
(43:51):
what China is doing with their robot races, right? We
just had a robot run faster than Hussein Bolt, who
was the fastest man at one point in history, and
now he's been beaten by a robot, right? So if
you start to take intuition, the intuitive path, and revealing
the many hidden realms that are open to us if
we choose to, mindfulness, meditation, holistic approaches, they're all gaining
(44:14):
popular momentum worldwide, including the use of plant medicines and
accessing DMTs. I can tell you as a veteran myself,
as a decorated veteran, as a disabled veteran, I've been
asked to now sit in studies with the VA to
work on and review psilocybin, magic mushrooms, right? That actually
(44:36):
focus on depression, PTSD, anxiety, suicide ideations, all the things
that I had gone through in my journey, dealing with
my injuries, dealing with mental health and being very much
aided and helped with plant medicines. So it's interesting now
that it's becoming more of a mainstream versus, Oh, it's, it's,
(44:57):
it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a drug, right?
It's a, I used to fight, you know, I can
tell you before I BC before computers, and I used
to do the war on drugs with the U S
coast guard for over a decade. Now I'm completely on
the other side of it. So you never know where
life's going to take you.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
Right.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
But as we, you know, the, if you look at
the 1960s, I think the sixties are fascinating because it
was a counterculture movement. You know, if you have figures
like Ram Dass, who I love and I followed his
teachings for years, Dr. Wayne Dyer, another one, they would
explore consciousness and intuition through the practice of not just meditation,
but also psychedelics. And it's funny since the 1960s, how
(45:34):
psychedelics has become supported by science, um, including, uh, hemp, ayahuasca, peyote, caca, um, psilocybin,
magic mushrooms, the psychedelic journey, this movement not only changed
perspectives in the 60s on a spiritual base, but it
also influenced art, music, and social change. And I think
(45:57):
that showcases the power of intuition in shaping cultural narratives.
In fact, I can give you an example that I
didn't know. There's a song, I love the group, called America.
They had many, many songs in the 1970s. And if
you want to listen to the lyrics of one song
by America called Lonely People, Listen to that. You'll realize
that song is all about plant medicine back in the
(46:18):
70s when I was first born. Right. So that's just
a I think that where we're at in the 20
in the 2020s, the 20s of transformation, we're in now again,
this counterculture movement where the even the younger generation, you know,
shout out to the younger generation because they are thinking,
hopefully thinking more versus AI thinking less. but they're not
(46:39):
putting up with all the BS that we did in,
in the generations. And I think we've done a disservice
to our younger generations, telling them to go get this,
get a college degree and go in debt for a job.
That's not even going to be there in five to
10 years.
Speaker 5 (46:51):
Right.
Speaker 2 (46:52):
That's how we were told go to college. No, you know,
go to trade school. There's a lot of opportunities outside
of college. You don't need to go to college. So
if you're listening to this, there's a lot of trade school,
Mike Rowe, who has a foundation that allows people to,
that allows people to go get scholarships for electricians, mechanics, carpenters, plumbers,
(47:15):
things that our world will still need in the next
50 years. But, you know, as we reflect on these
historical examples that I've given you to explore our own
intuitive capabilities, trust your gut feelings, reflect on your dreams
and allow your inner voice to guide you, your higher self,
the hidden realms of intuition await your discovery. How exciting
(47:36):
is that? You know, so, you know, like I said,
there's different cultures. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple. I'm
using his product right now as I speak to you.
I got a brand new MacBook, third generation. My last
one I had for 13 years and finally gave up
the ghost. But he was the co-founder of Apple that
started all of this and relied heavily on his intuition
and his product design and business decision. Love him or
(47:58):
hate him. That's your choice. But he famously said, quote,
You have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever,
end quote. His intuitive sense led to the revolutionary products
like the iPhone, the MacBook that I have, I have
the iPhone, and it emphasizes on the design and the
user experience over market research. That was huge for Apple.
(48:20):
Wish I would have bought stock back in the day, right? Again,
in many African cultures, elders often rely on intuitive wisdom
to guide their communities. The concept of what's called, quote,
end quote, which emphasizes community and interconnectedness. And it highlights
how interactive, uh, or how interactive and intuitive understanding is
(48:41):
shared and valued collectively. And I've experienced this with my
own implant medicine ceremonies over the last two years, elders
through their experiences and intuitive insights play a crucial role
in decision-making for the, for the tribe, for the community,
for moving ahead. Right. Um, Like I said, that art
and creativity. Vincent van Gogh, his intuitive approach to color
(49:03):
and form led to the creation of the masterpieces that
convey emotionalism over realism. His famous painting, many of you
know it, The Starry Night, demonstrates how intuition can transcend
traditional techniques, creating a deeply personal and emotional experience. for us,
the viewer, right? The experiencer. Malcolm Gladwell, in his book
(49:27):
called Blink, Gladwell explores the concept of thin slicing where
our brain makes quick judgments based on limited information. He
presents various case studies like the analysis of expert art,
appraisers who can instantly recognize a counterfeit painting illustrating how
intuition can lead to accurate conclusion. That's pretty, it's a
great book. It's called Blink. You know, in today's fast
(49:48):
paced world, many are turning towards intuition as a means
of coping with stress, uncertainty. We live in uncertain times
for sure. And I have found that intuitive practices such
as meditation, mindfulness, plant medicine ceremonies, community, music, yoga, qigong,
have gained traction and are becoming more popular in both
(50:12):
personal and professional settings because there's something to it, right?
Supported by science, not just an opinion by a guy
that you're listening to on the podcast or watching on
a TV show, right? So the mindfulness movement, it was
founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, who I've watched many of his
classes on Masterclass. He talks about mindfulness integrates intuition into
(50:33):
our daily life. And he encourages us as individuals to
tune into our thoughts, to track our thoughts. What are
our thoughts? Are they positive or negative? And the feelings
and the mindfulness practices that help people connect with their intuition,
leading to better making decision processing and emotional well-being. So
whether you want to call it psychic or intuition, I
think there's a blending. There's a crossover between the two.
(50:54):
That's why I think that everybody is psychic, because we
all are born with intuition. It's just based on, you know, programming, deprogramming, learning, unlearning. deconditioning, surrendering,
you know, getting rid of maybe some of your ego thought,
becoming aware that you can make choices based on your intuition.
And that psychic of the soul is also part of
(51:15):
that intuitive. And I think that's the bridge. I think
intuitive and psychic are very similar. But, you know, I
found that if we can embrace intuition, it can lead
us to a more, I think it can lead us
to a more authentic, deeper connection And more innovative and
introspective thinking. Like I said, this podcast is now in
(51:38):
a category of introspective and that's what we're trying to do.
We're trying to ask the bigger questions and push past
the status quo, push past the boundaries and consciousness, mindfulness, intuition, psychic, mediumship, healing, energy, frequency, vibration.
These are all going to be things that are going
to get really popular in the next decade. And it's
about cultivating your own awareness. You know, trusting oneself. Trust
(52:01):
is a big part. Patience and trust, two of the
foundations I teach on. In a world filled with a
lot of distractions, a lot of noise, can you turn
the noise down? Can you step away? I always say that,
you know, nature is my church. Nature is my religion.
If you really want to truly connect, get out in nature.
(52:21):
She's our greatest teacher, our greatest inspirer, our greatest engineer.
And she is going to teach us and continue to
teach us all around the world. So, like I said,
use your free will and choice to how you want
to access intuition. Like I said, risk-taking. If you don't
(52:42):
risk it, there's no biscuit. Steve Jobs is somebody, he
made several high-stakes decisions based on his intuition, such as
the introduction of the iPhone. The iPhone, right here. It's
right off camera. I just held it up. which revolutionized
the smartphone industry. Almost everybody has a smartphone now, right?
Even people in very poor locations seem to have a smartphone.
(53:03):
That's interesting to me. But his willingness to take risks
driven by intuitive understanding of technology and market trends often
lead to groundbreaking advancements. Elon Musk, love him or hate him,
world's first millionaire. We helped create that. I get that.
But he's also that same intuitive mindset, seeing things, taking risks.
(53:24):
Some of the great minds of our past have taken
great risks based on intuitive impressions versus hardline data. The
data doesn't necessarily support that. Like I said, Malcolm Gladwell
is another one. There's a lot of things going on
just based on the intuition's role, decision-making, creativity, and innovation.
(53:45):
Trusting your instincts. I think many of these figures trusted
what they got, even though all the pundits and experts
were saying, oh, no way, that's never going to work.
Suggested actions for you guys listening to the show, watching
the show. I'm encouraging all of you to trust your
gut feelings in the decision-making process. Keep a journal, dream journal,
(54:08):
daily journal, intuitive insights. When you get an insight intuitively,
write it down. It's going to strengthen this ability, but
it all starts with you. It starts with free will
and choice. No one's going to make you do it,
but it's there waiting to be revealed. That is one
of the biggest realms that's going to be revealed today
is your own free will and choice to access, to
know thyself, your higher self, and the consciousness of what
(54:29):
surrounds us all. Just like the poster behind me, the
living force, just like Star Wars, the force that connects
us all, combines us all, and we come to it
and we return to it. So, you know, it's going
to strengthen that ability if you choose to do it,
free will and choice. You know, look at influential figures,
their intuitive approaches, look, learn from history, be a student
of history, because it's going to inspire your own personal
(54:50):
growth and your own decision-making strategy. So I hope that
helps for today on the intuitive path and revealing the
many hidden realms. I want to thank you for tuning in,
listening in, following the journey. You can learn more about
me at markleinhart.com, the intuitive prospector. We'll be back with
more exciting guests, more exciting topics. As we explore the unknown,
(55:12):
like I said, the paranormal becomes the normal, the extraordinary
becomes the ordinary, and the science fictions become science fact.
And that's what we do here on Inspired Living. So
thanks for tuning in. We'll see you next time. I
always say namaste, namago. And most importantly, dare to dream,
dare to explore, dare to live, and discover the diamond within.
(55:33):
But by doing that through the intuitive pathway, you'll also
discover the many hidden gems. that are all around us.
So please be kind, be caring and compassionate to one
another as we move through the human experience together. And
we'll see you next time here on Inspired Living.
