(02:55):
So let's go do a little prospecting together through the body,
the mind, and the spirit. And I would just want
to just start off today's show. It's been a very
emotional week. I want to give a shout out to
my Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. I'm about eight miles
away from downtown Seattle and as we are doing the
show live, there is over a million people in the
(03:17):
downtown core. I was not going to go with the traffic.
I wouldn't have made it back for the show, but
we're celebrating our Super Bowl win, our Seattle Seahawks. I've
been a lifelong Seahawks fan my entire life. I've been
I went to the last Super Bowl and watched that
heartbreaking tragedy of losing on the half yard line, and
then the previous year had gone to another Super Bowl
parade when we won our first super Bowl. But I
(03:39):
just want to give a big shout out to the
twelves in all of you Seattle Seahawks fans out there,
and like I said, it's been an emotional week because
I also want to dedicate this show to a family
member that had been in our lives for fifteen years,
our fur baby. His name was O'Malley aka the Moose.
And it's been an emotional week of you know, when
(04:00):
you lose a family member and then a week later
you're celebrating the Super Bowl win, right, and so you know,
that's what life is. Life is a balance of both
pleasures and pains, joys and loss. And so I want
to dedicate this this episode specifically to O'Malley aka Moose,
who is a bright light in our lives. And maybe
I'll do a future episode on grieving our pets, grieving
(04:23):
our fur babies, because science shows that humans actually grieve
the animals more than sometimes humans and it's very you know,
I did a lot of research on it. But I
just want to give a shout out to my Seahawks
and O'Malley Moose and dedicate this episode to both the
joy and the pain that life brings all of us.
(04:43):
And today we're going to welcome a special guest. She's
coming to the show for the very first time. I
met this young lady this last year at a conscious
wellness expo here in the local area of the Pacific Northwest,
and it's a big expo where you can get readings, healings, lectures.
It's a lot of fun into one of the that
I do twice a year in person, and you can
get lots of cool crystals and lots of gemstones and
(05:06):
just a lot of metaphysical stuff. And so I met Crystal,
just talking with her, and we started talking about her
book Intuition, and I'm going to read a little bit
about her and trusting your intuition and what intuition is.
And I, you know, in my humble personal opinion, I
believe that all humans come to this incarnate world with
a soul and through that soul energy is the intuition,
(05:27):
a gift that we all have. Not everybody chooses. Sometimes
wonder about today's world if anybody out there and leadership
is using their intuition that make a better world. But
intuition is often described as what I like to call
our inner compass or the whisper of the soul that
guides us when logic alone isn't enough. And you know,
from scientific breakthroughs to creative masterpiece, some of history's greatest thinkers, musicians,
(05:52):
songwriters have credited their success, movie writers have credited their
success to this quiet inner voice and listening to the intuition.
And that's what we're going to be speaking about today,
or is Albert Einstein always emphasized that quote the intuitive
mind is a sacred gift and that society often wrongly
favors the unfaithful servant of the rational mind. And that's
(06:13):
so very true. But I got talking with Crystal about
her book, and her book is you can get this
through our social media platforms. You can also get it
through where books are sold like Amazon. But trusting your
intuition and connecting to your spirit within came out in
twenty twenty four. It's a bestseller, and we're going to
(06:34):
talk about connecting to that spirit within and get Crystal's
perspective and her experiences of why she wrote this book,
and you can learn more about her at blossomanmedium dot com. Again,
all of this information is posted to our social media sites.
But Crystal is not your typical psychic medium. She's an
evidential based, intuitive and reikie healer and she likes to
(06:54):
bridge the mystical and the practical with uncommon clarity and compassion.
And I like that because because I'm a big believer
that spirituality and science should go hand in hand. Carl
Sagan talked about this and taught about this and lectured
about this all the time. They can't exist apart from
one another. They actually go hand in hand. And what
sets Crystals apart is her ability to demystify spiritual concepts
(07:16):
that wu Wu like psychic and mediumship, energy work, and
intuitive communication and make them accessible, grounded, and empowering for
everyday life. So she's very much in the same wheelhouse
as I teach and I talk about on my shows
and my newsletter about bringing that practicality without you know,
being such wu Wuo. Known for her warmth and integrity,
(07:39):
Crystal has built a loyal following by offering more than
just answers. She offers transformation. Through her readings, classes and conferences,
she creates a safe and inspiring space for people to
reconnect with their own inner wisdom, which she calls the
soul's quote superpower of intuition end quote. She doesn't just
teach on how to tune in, she helps you trust
what you find. Her personal journey from EmPATH to reiki
(08:02):
master to evidential medium, it's all woven in her teaching
and with honesty and vulnerability, showing readers and students alike
that healing and spiritual connections are not only possible, but practical.
And whether you're new to the path or you're ready
to deepen your gifts, Crystal offers both a roadmap and
a reminder you already have everything you need inside you.
(08:24):
And I just want to read her mission statement and
I put this on our post as well if you
want to read it. But her mission statement is this
to be a healing connection and a clear conduit for
from spirit to the living world. So with that, I'd
like to welcome psychic medium Crystal Perry to Inspired Living
for her very first time. Welcome my friend.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
How you doing, Oh, I'm doing great.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Mark for having me on the show.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
You're very welcome. Are you Are you a Seahawks fan?
Are you celebrating with the rest of us here in Seattle.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
I'll not mention anything else.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Okay, all right, all right, we'll keep the energy going.
Go team. I love it. So if people want to
learn about you, they can go to Blossoming medium dot com.
And why why did you put blossoming Medium? I'm just
kind of curious.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
As we said when I when I started my mediumship journey,
I sat with Spirit to say, Okay, if I'm going
to do this full time and go public, I need
a name. That's the name that Spirit gave me. And
you know, I rolled my eyes and said, okay, yeah,
I get it that I'm a blossoming medium, But it
has come to me so much more through the classes
(09:33):
I teach and through the work that I do. I
see that it helps other people blossom. And it's just
enlightened me. Where I thought it was kind of a
selfish title for myself, I realized it's actually for those
that I serve.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, And isn't it isn't that? Yeah? Isn't that funny?
How you know we're talking, we're going to be talking
about intuition and you got this intuition, that InterVoice that
I was talking at the opening of the show. I
had a very similar situation many many years ago when
I started to come into my own awareness of my
own abilities and really just a lot of self criticism,
(10:08):
a lot of self sabotaging. And the name that kept
coming to me and I kept tearing it over and
over again was the Intuitive Prospector, because I believe everybody
has intuition. And then the Prospector was about prospecting for
what is important to us in our lives, whether it's
the diamond within or the many hidden gems all around us.
And I thought the same thing. I'm like, Okay, this
is just really dumb. This is a dumb name, to
be honest with you. And years later now it feels
(10:31):
like yeah, and I felt like it was about me.
But years later, you know, whether the Blossom and Medium
or the Intuitive Prospector, I realized it was for other
people to connect with us to help them on their journey,
because everybody has intuition, and not everybody trusts their intuition.
And that's the name of your book, trusting your intuition
and connecting to your spirit within. And so I just
kind of when we started talking at the expo, which
(10:52):
gosh is already a few months ago. We're going to
have the next expo already coming around the corner here.
I thought it'd be fun to have you on in
and have this chat with you because we have a
global audience. It's listening either to the live show or
the encore shows, and I believe that they'll get a
lot of diamonds from you writing this book trusting your intuition.
So this came out in if I'm correct, twenty twenty four,
is that correct? Yes, correct, yeah, okay, okay, and it's
(11:16):
a bestseller, so congratulations on that, and just kind of
take us through the process of why you wrote this
and what you want to accomplish with this book being
out there put into the reader's hands.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Oh I love this, Thank you. Well, honestly, it kind
of fell into place when I started my mediumship work,
I realized that I also needed to teach other people,
and so right away, within a few months of becoming
out of the closet medium, I started teaching intuition classes
and spirit guide classes. Classes that people far ask and
(11:51):
the basics on do I have guides? What is my intuition,
and so I started teaching right out the gate, and
every time I teach it, I would have someone say, oh,
I missed you class, when's the next one? And I
was doing them like every other month or every three months,
and so I got to the point where I said,
all right, spirit I can't teach every six weeks. It
(12:11):
just needed to be in a book where someone could
buy it and have it. So the book actually contains
two of the classes I teach at the end. The
first part is really my bio and kind of how
I got here, and then the last half of the
book is my class on teaching you where you're intuitionalizing
your body, the connection, how you feel it, how you
confirm it, and then a class on your sphere of
(12:33):
guides and angels and connecting with them. So it was
kind of just the next progressive step to get it
out there to the public. I still teach classes, but
not as frequently.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah yeah, And you'll find in the Awakening and the
Journey of spirituality or metaphysics or psychic or mediumship, it's
like everything you proceed to the next level. And sometimes
that's not as teaching as much. Sometimes that's transforming yourself.
Right Sometimes that's going through your own journey and then
writing about it, you know, another book if you will
(13:05):
at a later time in the future. You know, but
I can tell you, you know, doing this work now for
two decades now, I guess well, you know, even just
right now, you know, what brings me comfort is knowing
that our loved ones go on after this what we
call the physical incarnate journey of life. You know, somebody
(13:26):
that's dealing with grief right now, like I opened the
show with, you know, sending my for maybe a fifteen
years over the rainbow bridge, but knowing that I'm going
to see him again when this time, when my time
here is done. And I want you to to talk
about to the listening audience. You know, what is the
difference between being a psychic and being a psychic medium
Because a lot of people don't necessarily they think that
(13:47):
they're one and the same, and they do overlap and blend,
but there are some big differences between those two psychic
and medium. And just kind of share with us your
perspective on that.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Yeah, well, and I explain this every time I sit
with a client because that they have the same question.
You know, I only want a medium reader, I only
want a psychic read. So I like to say a
medium is someone who's tapping into spirit. Loved ones that
have crossed over. Even your pets come through. This is
where the animals. Horses go, chickens come.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Through, anyone that has passed on, or anything that has
passed on that we've loved. A psychic is someone picking
up current events. So something going on around you, Are
you getting a new job, are you getting married? Is
something going on in your family? Actively here current events?
So they are a little different. When I sit with someone,
(14:39):
I always go to spirit first, what does Spirit have
to say? What messages are here?
Speaker 4 (14:44):
And then if that person is looking for a psychic read,
I ask for clarity from spirit. You know, what direction
does this person need to go or what advice would
you say or share if they want to if they
want to tap into loved ones that have crossed Some
people are young, don't have many people that have crossed over,
so they just sure I want to know about them?
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah, yeah, no, thank you for sharing that, because I
try to explain this many times, even just doing this
work many times. And I got into this work because
of severe traumas and tragedies, loss of family members at
a specific time years and years ago. That really kind
of got me tuning into you know, psychic and mediumship
and intuition and reiki and energy. And actually one of
(15:29):
the very first classes that I ever took was down
at the Berkeley Psychic Institute, which was Intuition one oh one,
actually understanding what the basis of intuition is. And so,
you know, it took me a long time to understand
that there is a difference between the psychic working with
the psychic energy and the mediumship energy, which is much
different because, like you said, it's mediumship, especially evidential mediumship
(15:51):
is bringing through evidence based information from a loved one
that lived a physical life, and that includes fur babies.
I've had readings where rabbits have come up. What's a
little like a flying squirrel. I can't remember the name,
but I actually had a chilally or I can't remember
the animal, but that includes all animals, is what I'm
trying to say. You know, when you're connected in the mediumship,
(16:13):
and that is different than angels, that is different than
you know, inspires or incended maasters or your spiritual entourage,
because as mediums we can't validate that evidence if they
never lived a physical life, So thank you for sharing
that with us. Now you also bring reiki. I'm curious
to how you incorporate the reiki into your work with
psychic mediumship. When you're working, do you actually are those
(16:36):
separate out is reiki separate from your psychic mediumship or
do you blend them together?
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Well, it's interesting. In the beginning it was quite separate.
But when I sit with someone now it's almost like
because I have the reiki achievements, I'll sit with someone
and sometimes spirit will give me a medical intuitive hit
of tell this person their mother needs help, or tell
this person their father needs to take a look at
his feet. You know, I'll have some health issue that
(17:04):
comes up, and I think it's because I've done rapie
so long that I can feel that energy emanating off
someone or something, and so I'll mention it. You know,
I'm not a doctor, I say that right off the gates,
but I would take a look at this and then
usually it's validated. I had one just the other day.
I said, sir, it's telling me your daughter has a
food allergy.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
Does she have rashes?
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Oh? Yeah, she has the rats on her elbow. We
can't get rid of, so things like that will come
up in a mediumship reading.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, and I like that you pointed out that we're
not doctors. I have this disclaimer on my site. I
do this for every reading that I am not a
board certified doctor, but I do have twenty five years
of medical background and emergency medicine, so I can say
I'm a medical intuitive. But I like that you say,
you know, always check with your doctor, your natural path
because they are board certified. But for those of us
that are working psychic and mediums, we also do our
(17:58):
own training, whether it's mentorship or taking classes to understand
the relationship with the spirit world and the energy and
the information that we receive, because we receive information much
differently than somebody that's not necessarily open to this world
or not open to their intuition.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
We call it the Claire's clairvoyance, which is seeing clare sentience,
which is the feeling. You know, the skin is the
largest organ on the body, so we can sense things,
we can feel things, we can see things. Claire cognizance,
your your belly button area, that solar plexus of just
knowing something so you learn to develop your other abilities
of the of the body, and that's a big part
of intuition as well. And I like that you know
(18:37):
that your book is trust in your intuition, because I
see where many people fail at this or don't have
enough trust, including my own students. I tell them for
you know, some of the foundations of doing this is
patience in trust. Patience because it's not on our timeline,
and there is no timeline because time is the great illusion,
but the trust aspect, and many people don't trust. What
(18:59):
would you say about that trust foundation of what you
do in the work that you're doing.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
I would say that's the hardest hurdle to get over
for sure. When when I wrote this book, I talked
about your intuitioning being from your neck down. So you
will physically feel it in your body once you get
out of your head. So you'll feel the goosebumps on
your skin, you'll get the feeling in your heart or
the feeling in your gut where most people think it is.
You'll get some sensation or some knowing or a stopping
(19:28):
or I have to move forward, and that's all your
body talking to you. It's almost like the universe and
the divine created it so you would feel it in
your body and it could catch your attention more so
than just your mind.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yeah, good point too, because I always say that the
heart and the mind, or the yin and yang there
as they're always opposing one another. The mind says this,
the heart says that, the heart says this, the mind
says that. And so getting out of those two concepts
and going to other parts, like you said, from the
neck below the different clayers, including Claire sentience and Claire cognisance,
(20:03):
because Claire cognizance resonates down in the stomach. That's why
we say. You know, you've always heard the term trust
your gut. That's a big saying in today's society. And
then I you know, when I first heard that, I'm like, well,
why are we trust in our stomach? Is in our
stomach for eating and surviving. And then you know, as
you learn and you're educated, you realize, no, the gut
is actually the birthplace of where you you know, connected
(20:23):
to the umbilica of your mother, why you breed liquid
for nine months. So it's the most psychic area of
the bodies because that's where life begins. The light button
if you will, and so, you know, trusting your gut.
That's why we say put your you know, put your
hand on your belly button, take a deep breath in
and listen to your intuition. And maybe after our break
we can maybe do an exercise, or you can lead
(20:43):
us through something to how to maybe in encourage and
influence and strengthen that trust with intuition. You know, I
think of Steve Jobs, a founder of Apple, which is
in today's world when he first started, it's today a
trillion trillion dollar company. But he always talked out when
he built this concept. You always said, you know, quote,
have the courage to follow your heart and your intuition
(21:06):
nothing they know what you truly want to become end quote.
And I've always that's always kind of stuck with me,
Like a lot of people hear this inner voice, like
you had this inner voice to to write this book
and to you know, to you know, name your you know,
blossoming medium. And you're like, well, is it my thoughts
or is it coming from somewhere else? And you know,
(21:26):
some people just don't have the courage to follow your
heart into it in intuition. But hopefully after today's episode,
you will have the courage to follow your heart in
your intuition of that inner voice. So Crystal tell us
about just a little bit about the book. We have
a break here in about five minutes, but let's just
dive into the book because it's really you know, it
walks you through that step by step, connecting not only
to the guides and the angels that we talked about,
(21:49):
but connected to your what you call your own superpower
of intuition.
Speaker 4 (21:53):
Yeah. So as I write the book on the intuitive part,
I go through the chalkra system and where it sits
in your body where you're actually going to feel, you know,
movement in your body with intuition. So I start at
the root chakra, which is you know, right as your
legs meet, and this is your grounding center, your stability
center where you feel safe or possibly not safe. If
(22:16):
your intuition hits here in the body, it's going to
make you want to move forward with a decision or
freeze or stay still of this isn't my path, this
isn't where I'm supposed to go. There's usually a really
hard answer in that area. As you move up into
the sacral chakra area, this is This is creation. This
is where we create life, but also creation of what
(22:40):
you want in life? Do you want to move forward
with painting or writing or inspiration those sorts of things.
So to feel it in that area of the body,
and I just work my way up all the way
to the throat area. But where we feel it. So
when we're asking Universe, Christ, consciousness, whatever, it might be
a question with your hand on your heart, where does
(23:01):
this resonate in my body? Where am I feeling the
tug for the pool to move forward with something right?
And being still? Like you said that trust once we ask,
we have to be still just for a moment because
we're tuning inside where most of us are used to
tuning outside of us for answers.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, that's you make it very You make an important
point about stillness because when you're moving, the brain is
active in consciousness. When you move into stillness, you can
see how the brain starts to get a little fluttered,
a little bit anxiety in the brain because it always
wants to be doing something. And so you know, I
think of it as a little kid when you know
a mom would say sit on your hand, sit still
for thirty minutes. It was like torture, like I can't move,
(23:45):
and for many humans in this world, we don't take
the time to disconnect and make that time to reconnect
that I always teach about, and part of that sitting
in the stillness and the silence, because there's a lot
of awareness and a lot of answers in that stillness,
in that silence. And for the listeners out there, they
may not understand what the chakra system is. Chakra or
chalk reffort it both ways. I always get you know,
(24:07):
I always get corrected. Tomato, tomato. But the chakra tell
us a little bit about the chakra system because that's
also incorporated and what you do with reiki.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Yeah, yeah, so it's I just talk about the seven
main energy centers of their body. There is more or less,
but they move up your body from the root area right,
it's your pelvis space all the way to above your head.
With intuition, I like to again say neck down. Where
we're feeling it in our body doesn't mean the chakras
aren't there. But when I talk about intuition, I want
(24:36):
physical you know, aspects in your body. And so I
talk about the energy centers and what I'm feeling in
that energy center. Most people have also heard of the auras,
and the aura feels around us. This is why you
can stand next to someone on the bus and start
to feel that energy. They're standing too close to me,
(24:57):
or I don't really want to stand next to this person.
Everything is the energy. So when we're tapping into our intuition,
we are feeling real energy. And you know, the Dictionary
describes it as the gift of knowing without reason. We
don't need to understand what our intuition is, we just
need to feel it.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yeah, and that's the ego to it. Yeah, that's ego
mind wanting to know, right, like the two year old
child and and all of us. Ego always wants to
be knowing, and you know, competitive and opinionated, right, and
you know, learning to turn that ego off. And you said,
you know, you said just a minute ago about the
christ consciousness. And in my teachings and my understanding and
(25:35):
education of this journey, you know, over the last twenty
plus years, I really learned that Jesus didn't come to
start a religion. He came to start a vibration. Because
we talk about and the growers talk about this open
opening the universe and unlocking the universes, really thinking in
the terms of energy and frequency and vibration. Just like
when people ask me where Heaven is, I tell him
(25:56):
it's not an actual location. It's an actual vibration based
on what we attune to, based on the chakras, based
on the org field, based on the soul. So er,
we're going to go to our break. It's a fascinating
conversation that we're having today with our guest, Crystal Perry.
Her book is trusting your intuition and connecting to your
spirit within. We're gonna be right back and we're going
to pick this up where we left off, talking about
(26:17):
the chakras, the orc field, psychic mediumship, and of course
trust in your intuition. Stick around, you don't want to
miss the next part of this episode.

You came across someone struggling with hunger, how would you
recognize them? Would you notice an eight year old girl
who's not excited for.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
A summer break because she may not be having lunchackon
until September, or a.
Speaker 4 (28:07):

Brought to you by Feeding America and the AD Council
and welcome back to Inspired Living. Our special guest today
is Crystal Perry, her best selling book, Trusting Your Intuition
(28:37):
and Connecting to Your Spirit Within. Crystal, welcome back. Before
the breaker, we're talking about the chakra systems, the aura, energy, frequency, vibration,
but also trusting your intuition. How would you for the
listeners out there? You talked about the seven chakras. That's
usually the known chakras, going from the top of the
head called the crown, all the way down to the
(28:57):
base chakra. But it's not a new system, right for
those listeners that like, oh, what's the chakra? Kind of
just give us a background in your education and the
history and the ancient wisdom of working with energy through
the chakra fields of the body and also the aura
of the body.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
Well, I know that the chokra system has been based
key ons ago. I don't have exact dates and times
and where it came from, because I just think it's
been passed on and passed on so much that there
might not be any clarity on exactly where it came from.
But the chakras are just energy energy disc. That's what
(29:39):
it means, is the energy disc moving throughout your body,
and so in these seven areas from your root to
your sacrali solar plexus your gut instinct, so your solar,
your heart, your throat, and above going up to your
third iron crown, these areas continuely spin and pick up
energy and understanding in that area. For example, let's just
(30:03):
go to the third eye. Third eye energy. You may
have vivid dreams, you may have premonitions, you may have
connections to seeing things that other people don't see. Right
at the crown chopper is above you and I it's
bringing in divine wisdom. I always like to say it's
like a garden hose. It's always turned on and can
(30:23):
come down into you. You can kink the hose and
shut it off, but it doesn't mean the flow stop
where a lot of us just stop. So I don't
have exact dates on chakra system, but they've been around
for a long time, and in the energy work I
do with with reiki, et cetera, I see if that
energy system is spinning healthily or if it seems blocked
or stubborn. I like to call them stubborn because I
(30:46):
think any everyone can heal their own self. So I
won't just say blocked, but just stubborn. Where energy maybe
is fighting to be there or or take over in
some way, shape or form. But that energy system is
the same field when we stand next to someone and
we can pick up energy off them, or I don't
want to be in this room, or that's where the
(31:07):
clare sentient comes in. I feel that someone just had
a fight in here before I walked in, or you know,
you go into a job interview and suddenly you go ooh,
I don't know, this isn't for me. Now you know,
we're we're constantly picking up energy, and that comes without
spoken language. Our divine energy that comes in transported into
human form is there's no words for it. It's just energy.
(31:31):
And we try to wrap our heads around it and
put our ego in it and give it a name,
but sometimes it's just energy and we just have to
trust what we feel. Answers a question.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
No, that's great because it really is just letting people
know that this you know, Crystal and Mark are talking
on today's show in the you know, the roaring twenties
of our time, and this system is an ancient system
that goes back to nobody really knows it's that ancient.
It's that that philosophy, that science, that knowing has been
there for as long as writing has been around. But
(32:05):
you know, it's also I always tell the listeners and
my students it's like learning a new advanced language, learning
to connect without using you know, think about speech in general.
You and I are talking, which is based off scientifically
a vibration off a vocal cord. If there is no
vocal cord, then we are not communicating with a vibration,
right There's other forms of communication like sign language, braille,
(32:29):
reading with the fingertips, but how we're communicating right now
is actually many gurus would consider this to be quite primitive.
In advanced metaphysics and advanced spirituality are showing when you
tap into these ancient systems of you know, what you
described as a disc Are they opening and flowing? Are
they you know, are they closed and blocked? Is that
the ego. Are we being our own worst enemy. But
(32:51):
when you're open and flowing, you're like a river of knowledge,
also connecting and knowing things based on other people's lives,
world events. It happened yet, and then that mediumship aspect
is that blending of that aura, that that chakra system
that they once had in a physical life is no
longer there, right, But the energy in their heart. By
(33:13):
science tells us that energy always has to travel somewhere.
And that's where I like to blend science and spirituality together,
because that energy just doesn't go poof, right. It's that
energy that goes on to Some call it the afterlife,
some call it heaven. Some I like to refer to
it as summerland, or you know, send in my fur
baby over the rainbow bridge this last week. His energy
still goes on. But then when we start to connect
(33:33):
into that through the different clayers, through the org field,
and through the chakras, that's how we can pick up
evidential information and then bring it forth. One of the
things that I love from Roomy. I'm a big fan
and follower of Roomy. In the twelfth century mystic and poet,
he always talked about close both eyes and seeing with
the other eye, and you know, people are like, what
does that mean? And you just talked about it with
(33:54):
the third eye also connected to the pineal gland in
the brain, and there's a lot of anatomy and physiology
behind that supports metaphysic studies like what we're talking about today.
But when you're connecting, do you what's what's the main
players that you tune into is that you're clairvoyant? Like
do you some people are going to say, as a medium,
do you actually see the person that has died with
(34:16):
your physical eye objectively? Or do you see him in
your mind's eye through the third eye that the third
eye that Roomy was just referencing. Do you see them subjectively? Yes?
Speaker 4 (34:27):
Well, first of all, my strongest clare cognizance, but knowing
I get the knowing first. Then I look deeper and
I do get the clairvoyant and Claire audience. So I
will sit in my mind's eye. A six foot man
that let's say was in the military, is still in
my mind's eye as a six foot man. He's not
present in front of me as a six foot man.
(34:48):
Then I'll have him speak. What is he talking about?
Speaker 5 (34:50):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (34:50):
Now he's telling me he was in the navy, he
was had three grandchildren, those sorts of things. So all
the players come on strong when I'm doing mediumships. If
I'm just doing a psychic reed, maybe just one or
two players come in, uh, you know, strongly. But when
when it's mediumship, it's like all my clayers plus the
person that passed whatever they used in this lifetime. So
(35:13):
they might have been clairvoyant, so I see them clearly.
Maybe they were very clear cognizant, and and they're giving
me unknowing if they understood that as well.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Yeah, well said. And you know, as you you talked
about being evidential based mediumship, but which I think is
very very important in today's society. You know, as somebody
that's also been uh you know, vetted, accredited, certified, you
know tested. What does what constitute evidence?
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Right?
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Because it you know, as a medium, we're bringing through information,
but how do we know that it's evidential and that
we're not you know, some of the listener would be like, well,
how do you know you're receiving information from somebody that
actually lived versus your own imagination? How do you how
do you differentiate between the two and what is evidence
for you?
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Right? Well, I know it's evidence. When I'm bringing through
stuff I wasn't thinking of something that makes no sense
to me. And as soon as I say it to
you know, my client, they're either crying, they're laughing, they're
in spears, they got their hand over their mouths, like,
oh my god, how do you know? That sort of reaction.
And then I move forward with more evidence, and it's
(36:21):
just validating to them. And I you know, I'm not
a person I really bring in ethics and I don't
look people up. Most of the times. I only have
someone's first name. I don't know if they're bringing a
second party. If you've ever done big group readings, which
I have done, I don't know who's going to be
at the groups. And you sit down and you start
giving off this information and they're kind of just blown away.
(36:42):
I just let spirit talk and I repeat what they're saying.
It's really that's the part that's the channel, the bridge,
the I'm opening my mouth and letting spirit just flow
through me to tell you what they they didn't feel
with you, and that's the part that's the evidence. Part
of things I can't just make up. That's validating to clients.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, and you make a really good point, Crystal, in
the fact that, like I said, I've done this work
for several years now and I've done thousands of readings,
and the one thing I tell people is less is
more for us as the medium. You know, when I
book a reading, my actual my manager actually books all
the information, all the reading, and I don't know until
you know, I've got a reading tomorrow and I don't know.
I know the name, but I don't until I'm in
(37:27):
the zoom room with them. I don't connect in right.
And you know, it's a fair point that you know,
in this day and age, with the Internet, with the
information out there, it would be very easy. And I've
had people, you know, ask me, hey, did you look
me up? How did you know that? You know, with
social media pages, there's a lot of information out there.
But as a professional medium, and like you said, working
from a standpoint of ethics and professionalism, I think it's
(37:47):
very important because the spirit world, if you trust the
spirit world, if you trust your intuition, they're going to
give you things in information. And you know this to
be true, Crystal. You started reading, You're like, oh, I'm
going to start off with, hey have you I'll give
you an example. Do you know a man that actually
met former President Dwight D. Eisenhower. That's how one of
my messages started. And you're like, oh boy, what's the
chances in this room somebody's actually met former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
(38:11):
And sure enough you see a hand go up. And
so you know, if you're ethical and professional, you shouldn't
be looking up anybody in their information because now that's
your ego getting in blocking out your true intuition. And
sometimes it's hard. Right we get into a sitting and
we have no idea until the information starts to flow.
(38:32):
But for any of you aspiring, you know psychic medians
up there, don't be looking people up. Less is more,
and member, some of the best evidence can also come
after the reading. Some of the stuff that I've said
during a reading, two days, three days, three months later,
I get a phone call or an email. Mark, You're
not going to believe what happened. I didn't understand it then,
but I understand it now. And it's always what the
sitter needs, not what they want. But yes, you make
(38:55):
a good point, don't look people up, don't discredit your
own abilities and gifts, and don't disco at the world
of spirit that is really trying to come through one
hundred percent authentic and unique for each person that gets
reading from a medium. So thank you for bringing that up,
because that's that's very, very important in today's world. And
I'm sure you've been accused of it. I know that
I have been because some of the information is like,
(39:15):
how you can't know that you must have looked me
up somewhere. No, I have my trust in the spirit
world and the spirit person that's telling me this. I'm
just giving you this information so exactly.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
Thank you, know, and I tease, Okay, well, maybe if
I gotten my ego and I looked you up and
I found your name and I found online that your
dog passed away. Yet you come to me and it's
your mother that comes through in a reading. Well I
know that that spirit saying I always ask for the
highest healing potential. Yes, you lost your dog and you
plastered it all over your social media, but mom's here
(39:47):
to say sorry and healed some past wound or you
know what I'm saying. It could be something completely different
than what you're seeing on social media. So now I
don't ever trust any of that.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
Yeah, and you should and that should be for anybody.
And it's also you know, it's almost like you're taking advantage,
you know, if you did, you know, And unfortunately, I've
heard and read about stories where you know, you're always
going to have one bad apple in the tree, right,
doesn't mean the whole trees a rotten. It's just one
bad apple. And you know, I've heard of people and
I've read about people where they did and they were
actually set up. I know of one group that did
(40:19):
a Facebook page testing mediums and put information just to
see if the mediums would go read that and then
see if they'd bring it up in their reading. But
I always, as I teach my students, there's thousands of
memories there that you don't need the social media because
the spirit person can give you millions and millions you know,
what they wore, what they liked, what their favorite ice
cream was, what was their favorite TV show? Where did
they love to travel. There's a lot of information that
(40:41):
you don't need social media. But we have to point
that out as professionals, that there are bad apples in trees,
but it's in all industries and all aspects of life.
There's always a bad apple somewhere trying to get ahead.
But you're not going to get that with Crystal, and
you're definitely not going to get that with me or
any of my students that I've trained over the years.
So let's do just for the sake of time, Chrystal,
if you're up for it, because we don't have an
(41:03):
agenda or script for the show, which I'd love to
do my shows this way, but let's talk about You
talked about feeling from the neck down. And it's funny
because in tonight's class that I have with my students,
we're going to go back to the very beginning of
mediumship and feeling that emotion when you sit in the
stillness and silence and seeing the spirit person that has
(41:24):
come to you for the very first time. We're going
to actually revisit some of our roots tonight, and I
think that's important because for your listeners out there, as mediums,
we work for them, they do not work for us.
And then we can't call on command, and maybe some can.
I can't, but I can't command in your a lister
that you want to connect with, right, That's not how
that works. That's your want, not your need. Like you said,
(41:45):
the mother shows up and you knew the dog had passed,
but mother has shown up to say I'm sorry and oh,
by the way, I have the dog. But it's important
to note that we work for the spirit world. To
say otherwise is very ego based, and unfortunately there are
some professional outthors.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
To do that.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
But I don't do you do you find that to
be true with your.
Speaker 4 (42:03):
Journeystal Yes, And then I have people that'll come to
me and say this person told me this and that
didn't happen, or you know, Yeah, there's a lot of
people out there that will kind of fill their brains
with something. You just got to let it go. In
this work, you've really got to kind of have a
tough skin. You're either going to get talked about, yeah
behind your back. You're going to come to you and
(42:24):
sing your praises. So if you get your ego of
look how great I am, the next reading you have
just going to knock you down and humble you.
Speaker 2 (42:31):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. And you know, and what I like
to do for my show is is let's apply some
of what everything we've been talking about the last half
of the show you know everything from the ancientess and
wisdom of our own tuition, that innercompass, if you will.
You talked about you know, we sets it from our
neck down, kind of turning our brain off, right, the
monkeys in our mind, turning that brain switch off. Because
(42:54):
there's a lot of abilities to connect. Maybe just give
us a quick walk through from your book or something
that you teach on on how to turn the monkey
mind off, how to feel from the neck down. Maybe
you know, I don't know, if you was chanting with
your chakras and your your vibrational chance ors, you can
bring vibration in. But for the listeners, do it with us.
(43:17):
And I always say you're going to learn by experiencing
it yourself. Everybody has their own opinion. They're like eyebrows
and elbows, and almost everybody around the world has them.
But when you sit in that stillness, in that silence,
and you set the intention and you start to feel
outside of your mind, it's a pretty cool experience and
you can really navigate even a better life. You don't
even need to be psychic or medium to just tap
(43:37):
into this intercompass, because I think everybody would want to
intercompass to have a much better life, right, navigate some
of life's many hardships and distractions and loss and pleasures.
But are you up for just taking us through, maybe
like a five minute walkthrough or just something you know,
just inspirationally off the cop.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
Yeah, we can sit in our body. I do want
to say one thing real quick. Yeah, intuition works moment
by moment by moment, so people, most people think it's
on twenty four to seven, which it probably is running
in the background. But the way it works, it's going
to come in the moment when you need it. For example,
you're driving down the freeway and suddenly you think, oh,
I should slow down. You look down at your speedometer,
(44:16):
your speeding. You look over to the right or the left,
and you see a cop sitting there right. That all
happened in the matter of seconds, but you knew I
should slow down, But didn't happen at eight in the
morning when you were brushing your teeth and you said, oh,
about three h five today, I should slow down. You
get it when you need it. So people that are
just like I don't know, I don't stop into my intuition.
(44:36):
Maybe you do and suddenly you got the thought I
need to call my mom or I need to go
check on my kids, or I need to re put
air in my tires. That is still intuition. It's all
those little nudges over and over and over again, and
just the moment by moment. I also tell people, you know,
stop pushing the elevator button. Stop pushing and pushing and
pushing them. It stood at the elevator waiting and someone
(45:00):
else walks up and the button and we all roll
our eyes. Someone else walks up and pushes the button,
and we're all still rolling our eyes. We're waiting on
the same thing. So just stop the pressure of making
it happen, because once you release it, it happens moment
by moment by moment, and the universe will show.
Speaker 2 (45:17):
You the way.
Speaker 4 (45:18):
So when we tap into the body, that's what we want.
We want moment by moment. We don't want to push
because that's going to force things out, not in. So
I always just like to take a second and have
people close their eyes, whether they're listening now or they
listen to it later with the recording, and just we're
doing the body scan, right, so let's just take a
breath in. I like to take a breath in from
(45:39):
my feet all the way up into my heart. So
a breath in up your legs, up your thighs, up
your belly, into your heart. Let the breath out when
you're ready. Take another breath in from the top of
your head down into your heart. You're bringing the energy
from above in your heart. And while you're sitting in
your hearts face, you're just thinking of something you love.
Maybe it's a pet, maybe it's the beach, Maybe it's
(46:02):
your favorite camping spot, maybe it's your grandchild. What do
I just love? You're sitting here in this love, this light,
this joy, feeling not into your body, calming your body,
letting your body know it's safe and right now, I'm
just thinking of something I love. And as you're raising
your vibration to love, you're asking yourself, how do I feel?
Do I feel height? Do I feel stressed? Do I
(46:24):
feel pressured? Do I feel calm? It doesn't matter the answer.
All you're doing is asking a question. You're letting the
brain have something to figure out. Right, We're giving the
brain work to do while we're sitting in our body
that's resting in this love and this joy. His intuition
will always be a very subtle feeling. It's not loud,
(46:46):
it's not noisy, it's very quiet, and so we overlook
it because the ego is very very loud. So as
we're sitting in this calmness of our body and we're
paying attention to our body, and we're taking these people,
and we're asking ourselves how we feel, pushing air out
of our lungs in and out, really just asking ourselves something.
(47:09):
Maybe we have a bigger question of the universe, you know,
should I take this job, should I marry this person?
Should I have another child? Maybe there's a question on
your mind, and as you're just in the stillness of
your body, ask that question, right, should I do X?
Did I do? Why? Should I do? Whatever? And letting
it just sit there. You're still. All you're doing is
(47:31):
thinking of love.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
What do I just love?
Speaker 4 (47:33):
You've asked the question. You're letting the questions sit in
your oric field, just outside your body, pondering, coming back
and forth. You're not getting distracted, You're not paying attention
to the question anymore. You're paying attention to your body
and just breathing into that love and that light. And
now weggle your toes while your fingers what is my
body saying? What is my body sensing? Paying attention to
(47:55):
the body because of your receptors. You think of an antenna.
The skin on your body is receptors, the hairs on
your body are receptors. All the cells in your body
are receptors. And be proud of your body. And it's
amazing the way that it works, and it picks up
energy constantly, even if you are numb to it, and
(48:16):
even if you've checked out and let the brain take
over for years, your body still knows. And just sitting
in that stillness, thanking your body for being here, always
on guard, always waiting patiently give you an answer to
whatever it is you need to ask at any time.
Now you know, you just take another breath into your body,
(48:36):
thanking your body for what a precious gift it is.
And then when you're done with this quession today, when
we're done, and when we're off this call, the question
that you asked, possibly could just pop in with an
answer when you're doing something physically, because intuition likes to
come in when your brain is busy. So here we
(48:59):
are sitting here home, sitting here, still thinking of things
we love thinking of KUOI things that make us happy,
reminding our body we're safe, and we've asked this question
of whatever. And then when we're done today, we're going
to go about our day, you know, maybe take the
dog for a walk, or start dinner or whatever. And
(49:19):
suddenly the answer pops in of what you've asked, because
you've given yourself a chance to be that receiving force
that reception to come in. So just take a breath
and ground yourself. Take another breath, and then when you're ready,
you can open your eyes, just trusting your body still,
and you can do this anytime you want, morning, noon, night.
(49:40):
What we're doing is reminding our body. I am a receptor.
I am a vessel that is a magnet to understanding
everything I need for my own intuition that I must
check in with it. Must pay attention to the feelings,
the knowings, and the sensations in my own body, so
I recognize what that is when it's talking to me.
When you're ready, we could just open our eyes, continue
(50:03):
to just think of our body throughout the day, continue
to stay hydrated. Water is important when you're a vessel
trying to pay attention to what's coming in energetically, eliminating
toxins you know in our body, eating pure maybe journaling,
writing things down, getting thoughts out of your mind, and
just being a clear vessel, just being still. But the
(50:25):
biggest key is thinking of something you love, because you're
raising your own vibration, which allows spirit to come in closer.
And it can be anything that you want it to be.
When you're thinking of something you love, most people will
think of a pet or a child. Those are the
two top ones. I mean, I can love my husband
all day long, but you give me a puppy, and
I'm melting right now. Just being grounded and centered into
(50:50):
your body and thanking your body for being here, Trusting
you're going to get the answers of whatever you're asking,
moment by moment by moment.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
All right, good stuff, Crystal. I'm sitting here in the sunshine.
It's actually sunny in Seattle, so I'm getting that nice
vitamin D coming through. Listening to all of those reminders
and for the listeners. While you were doing that exercise
with Crystal, you may have also seen colors. Pay attention
to colors. Colors play a very important role with the
visual aspect of clairvoyance in the third eye. And you
(51:25):
know if you're seeing, for example, the color white, that
a lot of times can be tied to the crown chakra,
the one chakra not and necessarily attached to the body.
That's why we always see old pains of crowns above
people's head, because that's why it's called a crown chakra.
You could actually see it back in the day, and
you maybe saw indigo, which is more of the mind's
eye kind of moving down into that, moving that third eye.
(51:47):
The throat chakra tends to be more of blue heart
definitely green, solar plexus yellow, and I was seeing and
that the reason I'm saying this is because as you
were doing that, Crystal, I was seeing a lot of
yellow because I'm actually looking into the sun with my
eyes closed, not open. And then of course that's the
solar plexus area that we were just talking about. And
of course the sacral is orange and the base chakra
(52:07):
is red. So just a reminder for the listeners out there,
if you're seeing colors, work with colors too, because they
do play a big part in the ancient chakra system
that we've been talking about today. So thank you for
that was that was lovely A nice revisit for today.
You know, Carl Jong Young always talked about intuition as
being the perception via the unconsciousness, which brings forth new possibility.
(52:30):
So when you move into that unconscious state, like that's
kind of where we're moving with this that little exercise,
but also move into that silence and that listening. I've
always reminded people that the word listen is an anagram
for the word silent, same amount of letters, switch them
around two different meanings. So if you move into the silence,
and you move into the stillness, and you work with
your divine breath, you're going to open up doors of
(52:51):
perception that you maybe have never tuned into before. But
like Chris and I've been saying all hour, we can
lead a human and knowledge, but we can't make them think.
And that's where both Crystal and I come into play
to help you open those doors to bigger realities and
perceptions of universal being. So Crystal, it's been a pleasure
having you on today again. If you want to check
(53:11):
her out, you can go to any of our social
media posts. You can get you can get a book
where books are sold. Trusting your Intuition and Connecting to
Your Spirit Within a bestseller by Crystal Perry, and you
can also visit her at her website blossoman medium dot com.

YouTube channel out there as well, if you want to
visit her YouTube channel. I don't. I think it's Blossom
(53:33):
Medium if I remember correctly from the write up on
your YouTube channel. Okay, yeah, but before we close, what
I like to ask my guests, and this is your
first time being on Inspired Living, you'd love to have
you back. Do you write another book or you have
another message you want to share it, Please reach out
to me or my team and we'll schedule for another
inspirational episode. But what I like to do with my
first time guest is ask them who or what inspires
(53:55):
you for moving forward in this very crazy, chaotic planet
of ours.
Speaker 4 (54:01):
I got to say the spirit world. They give me
hope that there's something better than the heaviness of this
life at times, and not that I'm looking forward to dying,
but that there is encouragement and love beyond measure.
Speaker 2 (54:15):
Yeah, definitely, the spare encouragement beyond measure. I like that.
I like that a lot so, But I just wanted
to say, you know, thank you for sharing your journey
and writing this book and putting this into people's hands
and going back to that foundation trust, but have the
patience to trust your abilities to open up your intuition
(54:36):
and sharing with our listening audience about the examples how
it comes. You know, it doesn't come all at once,
and I think if it ran all the time, I
think we'd all be very mentally tired, especially for those
of us that are tuned in. That's why we have sleeps.
That's why we sleep half of our life, right so,
to recharge and to connect. But thank you for coming on, Crystal.
It's been a pleasure talking with you, and I'd love
(54:57):
to have you on again to continue. I love to
talk about this. I learned so much from you, So
thank you. I appreciate you. Thanks for all that you're
doing in our world.
Speaker 4 (55:04):
And keep up with great work, all right, appreciate you
