A Michigan woman was hospitalized after she tried to hide
a bottle of wine inside of her body. I think
she took boxed wine a little too literally. Hi, I'm
Kenny Webster. Thanks for joining us this afternoon. I'll have
a bunch of guests here, including gun rights activist Steve
(00:41):
love Zamo.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
He's in studio right now.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
He's in the green room the other day right down
the hall stroking a pistol. Now I don't know what
he's doing, probably up to coffee. And Michael Quinn Sulivan
will be here from Texas scorecard dot Com. We've got
all the latest from the elections yesterday. The latest on
John Cornyn and Bill Cassidy trying to do some damn
it as they walk out the door because their political
careers are over. The latest on Ken Paxton, and a
(01:06):
whole lot more to stick around for that. But before
we get to any of that, let's talk about Hollywood.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Is this a spoiled, pampered, narcissistic Hollywood bratt or what?
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, it looks like they're pulling the plug on Stephen
Colbert this week. It's like he's a malfunctioning room, but
that keeps bumping into the same wall, and that wall
is labeled Trump. The final episode is happening tomorrow. I
know you're not going to miss it. They're going to
replace it with something called Comics Unleashed, which sounds less
like a show and more like what happens when your
(01:38):
Netflix algorithm gives up. It starts freebasing stand up specials. Anyway,
CBS is essentially saying, look, we lost forty million dollars
a year on Stephen Colbert. Wouldn't it be cheaper to
just mail checks to the Democrat National Committee? And yet
the legacy media is acting like we're burying Johnny Carson
all over again. Yeah, that's not what's happening, guys, spare me.
(02:00):
This isn't the death of late night television. This is
the autopsy revealing the corpse has been rotting in the
green room since Obama's second term, and it's emitting a
faint odor of smug and desperation.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Guys. Late Night didn't die.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
It was murdered by itself with a comedy prop knife
made up of pure sanctimony. The killer left a note.
The note was orange Man Bad. Please clap. Remember when
these shows were fun. You'd stay up late watch a
guy in a suit tell jokes about Congress being useless.
That was always a safe bet. Maybe book a random
(02:36):
celebrity pushing a movie where the dogs could talk. Johnny
Carson could make a golf swing. Funny Letterman would drop
stuff off buildings. Leno had the jaywalking bit that proved
half of America couldn't name the vice president. And we
all laughed together because we were all idiots in the
same boat. It was fun. And then Trump happened. Then
(02:58):
the boat capsized and the sea of performative resistance. Colbert
is a guy who used to do satire On his report.
He was pretending to be Bill O'Reilly. You remember that
the Stephen Colbert Report. He put on the biggest blow
hard costume of all the Late Night woke Avenger. Every
(03:21):
monologue became a DNC focus group with better lighting. Russian collusion. Yeah,
they rode that dead horse like it owed them money.
They kept repeating over and over again. Trump is Putin's puppet,
real classy guys. Even after the whole thing turned out
to be a little thinner than a vegan's excuse at
(03:41):
a barbecue, he just pivoted the next two minutes of
hate without so much as a whoopsie. That's fine. You
don't have to like Trump, but for crying out out,
would you just talk about something else for a few minutes.
This is what happens when comedy decides it's supposed to
be therapy for coastal neurotics. They don't tell anymore. They
(04:02):
solicit something called clapter. It's not really laughs, it's not
really clapping. It's just a polite golf clap when the
host says something the audience agrees with, like isn't it
weird that Republicans exist? Again, that's not laughter. That's ideological
pelvic thrusts for an audience that thinks punching up means
(04:25):
mocking people who shop at Walmart. Oh in the hypocrisy
La Chef's Kiss, These millionaires in mansions mocked you for
wanting to go outside during COVID while they filmed from
a panic room. They giggled about canceling Doctor Seuss, but
clutched their pearls if anyone questioned the science of dancing
(04:47):
vaccine needles. That was the thing they actually did on
the show. Oh, in Hunter Biden's laptop crickets never mentioned it.
Jewish kids getting attacked on campus because people don't like Israel.
Suddenly the monologue writer took a bathroom break. Biden wandering
around like a malfunctioning animatronic at Disney World. They defended
(05:11):
him until the debate made it impossible, at which point
Colbert said, Biden debated like Abraham Lincoln. If you dug
him up, Oh, how brave a real profile encourage there.
The whole genre caught the mind virus liberalism. Jimmy Kimmel
(05:31):
doing his sad this is why Trump is hitler face
every night. Seth Myers with that little smirk like he
just discovered racism in twenty twenty four. Jimmy Fallon. He
tried to stay neutral for about five minutes before the
social media mob waterboarded him into compliance. They all became
the entertainment division of the same political party in a
(05:54):
country split down the middle. They chose a side, then
acted shock when half the country changed the channel the
podcast where people actually say interesting things and are funny.
It's like watching a stand up comedian bombs so hard
he starts yelling, You're just not smart enough to get this.
It's not the audience, buddy, it's you. The problem is
(06:16):
in us. The problem is your material reads like a
press release from the Ministry of funny walks and mandatory pronouns. Meanwhile,
actual comedy migrated to the Internet like a sensible person
fleeing California. Joe Rogan interviews comics all the time who
say the unsayable. Shane Gillis makes more people laugh in
(06:40):
one special than Colbert has in a decade. Tim Dillon
sounds like a drunk muppet describing the fall of Rome.
It's very entertaining. Even the stand up clubs are booming
with people who understand that the funniest thing in the
world right now is watching progressive ideas slam into reality
at two hundred miles per hour.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
They think gender is a spectrum. Gender is a spectrum.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Tell that to the girls losing scholarships to dudes in
sports bras defund the police. Okay, enjoy your smash and
grab Crime Wave San Francisco. This is what I would
call a government program with better haircuts. That's what late
night TV is. It's expensive, it's ineffective, and it's convinced
(07:27):
of its own moral superiority. The average episode now contains
more sanctimony than a faculty lounge during Affirmative Action Week.
This is why Greg Guttfeld Show is on at ten
and they're all getting canceled. Nobody's gonna miss them. Not really.
The nostalgia merchants will pretend otherwise, but the ratings were
(07:50):
already in the toilet. America checked out years ago. We
found our laughs elsewhere, raw, unfiltered, and best of all,
not delivered by people who think we're the problem for
wanting cheap gas and secure borders. So farewell, Steven, enjoy
your retirement. Counting all the ways you helped turn comedy
into the least funny thing on TV. You weren't brave,
(08:13):
you were predictable, you were safe. The rest of us
will be over here laughing at the world as it
actually is. No canned applause required, And if the late
night hosts want to come back someday, simple fire the activists,
hire comedians, stop treating half the country like the villain
(08:34):
in your fan fiction. Until then, good night, good luck.
The corpse is already cold.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
I'm not a fan of the government doing anything.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
This is the pursuit of happiness radio on kprc Am
nine fifty. A new report.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
From the Weekly Business Journal claims gen Z workers want
green days, and it says it's to reconnect with nature.
I'm gonna be honest with you at Steve love ZAMMO.
When I saw this report and it said gen Z
workers want green days, didn't you think that I have
something to do with pot or cannabis or something.
Speaker 3 (09:13):
Actually I thought it was the band.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Oh, they just want the.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Band to come and perform for them, Like, well, my
dad thought that was a cool band in the nineties.
I figured, didn't motivate me to yeah, enjoy the band
before we replace your job with AI. You are, Steve,
You and I both probably in agreement here on Ken Paxton, Yes,
this was great news yesterday.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
As part of the reason why so many people in
Texas figured out what a con artist John Cornyn was
over the last several years is in part because of
great reporting from our friends at Texas scorecard dot Com.
And if you don't get it, like all John Cornyn
had to do was work with Fune, work with McConnell,
(09:55):
work with and get the Save Act passed. Paxton promised
to drop out.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
To me. That shows character of who Kim Paxson is.
He was willing to drop his senatorial campaign to get
the Save America Act pass well.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
In the meantime, as little as Cornyn was getting done,
That's how Paston was doing all kinds of stuff. A
report from our friends at Texas scorecard dot Com detail
how the Texas Children's Hospital will be the first in
the country to establish a gender de transitioning clinic for
people that got talked into mutilating their body for some
(10:31):
cult of gender pronouns. And Michael quint Sullivan is here
from Texas scorecard dot Com with all the latest on this.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Michael is there's nothing else. There's nothing like this happening
anywhere besides this.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Yeah, this is a huge win for Kim Paxton to
look at.
Speaker 4 (10:47):
You know, you know, I'm like Kim packs great guy.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
But at the end of the day, Kim Paxxon, I
think the reason he has been doing so well, the
reason he got Trump's endorsement. The reason, despite whatever you
might want to say other things in his life, the
guy gets his job done. And at the end of
the day, most people have come to recognize that you
hire someone to do a job, you don't hire someone
(11:10):
based on, you know, how nicely they keep their kitchen organized. Right,
And so for Ken Paxson's been doing his job, and
that is included going after Texas Children's Hospital for violating
state law, actually defrauding the state of Texas by doing
these gender mutilation procedures on children. Okay, on children by
(11:33):
people who cannot human beings who cannot give legal consent
to having their bodies permanently mutilated. All right, if these
same kids could not go get a tattoo, but they're
getting various body parts chopped off by Children's hospital. Children's
Hospital then was billing the taxpayers for that illegally swapping
out the code doing other things. So Texas Children's Hospitals
(11:57):
now agreed to stop doing all that.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
That's a win and in and of itself.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Two uh, they are paying back the taxpayers uh for
for those fraudle charges. They're firing doctors involved, and no significantly. Again,
this is kind of the big win for Texas generated
by Ken Paxton. They're creating the first de transition clinic
where they go through and try to restore as much
as possible that what was taken from these folks getting
(12:26):
sad cases people, gender dysphor you a very real psychological
problem and uh and and fixing the things that where
they've been taking advantage of huge win, compassionate win, one
of those kind of wins that you know that that
requires someone committed to doing their job again.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
That's my Ken Paxton's doing well.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
He's been doing his freaking job, kind of like Kenny
Webster does every day, does his job. I don't I
don't care what stupid car you drive. I do care
about whether night you got the rad and entertain me
and you do that. Congratulations, you're like getting backstone.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
I am grateful with that, you know kind of and
I get my news from texascorecard dot com.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
You guys do your job every day.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
I wanted to talk to you about something something we
weren't going to talk about in this segment, but you
just reminded me of it. Paxton is being attacked right
now because of a case involving a young boy. I
guess he was adolescent at the time. It was sexually
molested and the and in the case there was a mistrial,
hung jury.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
They went to do the trial again.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
The boy didn't want to testify again, and the best
the AG's office could get was thirty days in a
plea deal and of jail time. And he's not on
the sex offenders list. This isn't Ken Paxton's fault. It's
unfortunate that it happened. But I can't help it. Notice
that's a thing that even the family, even the victim
and the victims family will tell you it's not Paxton's
(13:49):
fault that it happened like this. I can't help but
notice Texas Democrats are now using that case, lying about
that case, lying about a boy a sexual a victim
of set, a sexual predator, in order to try to
win this Senate race. And I gotta think, could you
sink any lower, Michael, Even the even the boy's own
mother said they didn't want to do the trial again.
(14:10):
What it's not Paxton's fault.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Look, I mean that no one wins when you talk
about crimes involving children, right, there's never a lamb there.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Okay, the the.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
There there is no amount of justice that can be
done to fix what was done to this child. Right,
There's just nothing. There's literally nothing that can ever done
to restore the innocence taken away from from from any
child who's been victim victimized like this. But let us
note that the Democrats were the ones who did not
(14:41):
want Texas to be going after school predators. It was
the Democrats who wanted to make sure that that that
you know that the homosexual predators, the you know, having
your you know, vender all inclusive, you know, locker rooms
and everything else. That Democrats the ones who who want
(15:02):
us to be celebrating you know, the man boy loves
societies and everything else. And that's what the plus stands
for at LGBTQ plus. They want to celebrating all that stuff.
Oh but when convenient, we're going to pick on this.
We're going to take this horrible, horrible, sad situation and
we're going to say, oh, it's Ken Paxton's fault. No,
(15:23):
it's not Kin Paxton's fault. There is no winner here.
The attorney journal, you know what the AGE could have done,
and this is very clear, the AG could have done
this because the crime committed because of the where judicial
system works is against the state of Texas. Right, the
state brings the lawsuit and compassionately prosecutors will listen.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
To the victims.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Kin Paxon could have not listened to the to the victim. Here,
Ken Paxton and his team could have forced that child,
force the child's parents to get up on the stand
and testify.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Again and again.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
They could have done that.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
They are allowed to do that at and so what
would we say then, what a cold heartless sob In
Paxton is right again, there's no winners here. What the Democrats,
and the Democrats beclear don't care about this child either.
What they do care about is trying to throw out
salacious headlines that folks will notice when they're doom scrolling
(16:19):
on TikTok late at night, they will just see some
weird headline. And that is a huge disservice to children
who are being victimized around the state. And thank god,
we've got a legislator, and we've got an attorney general,
and we have a governor who are you know what
everything about everything else.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
These people are doing.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
They have been united, their Republicans have been united and
going after this stuff and it's a huge disservice the
Democrats are doing.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, it's just incredible. The mom agreed to the plea deal.
People will see this on social media and they might
be tricked into believing something happened that didn't happen. But anyway,
before we run out of time, here a few other
stories I thought were interesting today. Credit to Attorney General
well Ken Paxton securing a deal with a grocery store
chain over pesticide use. Another similar story Pakistan and Trump's
(17:07):
DOJ securing a historic anti trust settlement aimed at lowering
meat prices. This combined with that story from a while
back about getting the chemicals out of Kellogg's cereal, I
feel like Paxton's done more for the MAHA movement than
RFK Junior has, and he invented it.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
You can indeed make that case. Look the left, you know,
the granola crunchy left, who are supposed to be the
big ad becates the organic SEP member us on the
writer A supposed to the guys who want all of
our food made out of you know, chemicals, you know,
out of the ground or something. No, No, it's been
Ken Paxston's been the conservatives and Republicans saying, look, we
(17:46):
need to have honesty and integrity here. Whether you want
to buy you know, overpriced organic tomatoes or not. At
the end of the day, they better be organic, they
better made the right you know, the the better meat,
the qualifications there. The left isn't isn't doing any of
the stuff. You know, the lefties like to talk a
good game, they're not actually doing anything about it. And
the meat price thing is very fascinating, the collusion, the
(18:10):
anti competitive behavior. You got the Department of Agriculture with
my friend Brook Crowlins, You've got the d O Jay,
You've got Ken Pankston, all of them saying we need
integrity in the marketplace. And I suspect that's what the
Democrats are afraid of. When you have integrity, you you
tend to not be a Democrat when you when you
get rid of integrity, Mike mixed democrat life easier.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I guess all right. I hate to leave on such
a down note, but there was one more interesting news
story on your website today I wanted to ask about.
A while back, I remember hearing about a violent online
criminal network known as seven six four. Hadn't heard anything
about this in a long time. I almost forgot about it.
Now FBI Dallas is out warning parents about it.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Why is it in the news again? What's the story about? Michael?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, this is a this is a group that is
a going online targeting children, pressuring them mainly around hurting themselves,
hurting their friends, hurting their family. You know, it's just
kind of the it's it's the gross, disgusting underbelly of
the of the Internet that sits out there. And you know,
(19:20):
on on the one hand, you can say this is
this is a downer story to kind of into our
time together. I would suggest to you that we should
never be afraid of exposing to sunlight evil. We should
never be afraid, and then we should celebrate the fact
that we've got you know that we've got folks who
are willing to come forward, willing to call out this stuff.
(19:42):
But the seven six four group, it's not just happening
in in Texas.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
It's all.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
It's all across the country. And this is one of
those areas where you know, for for moms and dads
and I'll you know, it's a gen X guy. I'll
I'll slam on the millennials a little bit. Millennials have
grown up and then this religion z grown up with
devices and some think much of it. But this is
where as parents we have to make sure that we're
looking much more careful at our kids' phone use in
(20:08):
the way they can kind.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Of get sucked into the stuff.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
So we should be glad that this is being exposed
because you've had.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
Some real damage.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
FBI Dallas has brought in more than four hundred and
fifty folks with ties these networks, so it's a small
small group doing some real harm. But this is where
I think all of us should should be grateful information
to it can be better parents, who can be better
people when we expose the stuff.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
My brother Michael Quinnsolovan texascorecard dot com is the website.
Speaker 4 (20:38):
Check them out today, subscribe to their email list.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
If you printed out every law onto a sheet of paper,
you'd run out of ink then have to run to
the store for more paper in sweatpants in the middle
of the night. This is Pursuit of happiness.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Radio all right, big news from a land down under.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
This is huge, yeah, really interesting at Steve Loveszama live
in the studio right now, there's this random photo that
was snapped in the Australian outback. It has led to
the rediscovery of a plant thought to be extinct for
nearly sixty years.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Now.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I know that's really exciting, but to me, it's still
not as exciting as the bloomin onion and outback that.
To me, that will never go extinct. That'll never go extinct.
Maybe I'm a little skeptical, but I have a feeling
it was planted there.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Do you think so?
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I think so. Steve love Zammo in the building right now,
local gun rights enthusiast and got to be a Texan.
Speaker 4 (21:34):
Yeah, well, you must be excited about.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
The John Cornyn news. John Corny hasn't heard the news.
I guess he's still pissing away money. Ken Paxton has
been endorsed by Donald Trump, by Wesley Hunt. The prediction
markets all put Packston a head by a leaps and bounds.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yes, and I'll be the closer. I will endorse him today.
I thought you already endorsed him on the show second
d them. I thought you endorsed him back during the prime.
So now all eyes have turned.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
To the well, we assume this is over. I don't
think John knows it's over. He just dropped a new
TV ad today attacking Ken Paxton. Dude, John, If I
was John Cornyn, I'd be on the phone right now
with Trump negotiating a deal to become the ambassador to
Police or something like that.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
It's like, what it's over, Dude, You're not going to
be the senator anymore. Here's another question. I asked Bill
Cassidy on his way out the door yes yesterday he voted.
He switched a vote yesterday because he's mad at Trump
for helping Julia Letlow advance to the runoffs in Louisiana.
How much damage can Cassidy and Cornyan do on their
way out to the door. And I think the short
(22:41):
answer is quite a bit of damage.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Yeah, if they really wanted to, and Massie as well.
So I think the trifecta can really shape the until
oh sorry, until the next Congress takes hold.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
You know, I have a hard time believing Massey switches
any votes. Say what you will. You could say the
guy it never Trumper was this or that?
Speaker 1 (23:02):
To me? I think it's unfair to lump those guys
in the same group. Corner and Cassidy were too liberal,
they were too much like the swamp. Massey appears to
be at the right of the rest of the party.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Yeah, I would agree with that.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
What could he do to do damage on his way
out the door vote the way he was already going
to vote that that's why he's unpopular with the mega
guys in the first place.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, So here's here's my take on Thomas Massey. I
think they're calling him a rhino for a different reason.
So a typical rhino is one that'll you know, uniparty,
where they side with Democrats most of the time. The
thing with Thomas Massey is he he sides with the
Constitution more often than not. I think it was what
ninety eight percent of the time. So I think labeling
(23:43):
him or rhino's incorrect.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
I feel the same way. Look, I don't agree with
him everything Massy ever did. Yesterday I made a good
case for why Massy should stay to try to explain
and look, he's one of hundreds of people in the House.
It's not as important as a senator. It's not the
end of the world. I get it. I'm shedding no
tears over the loss of Thomas Massey. I would have
(24:05):
preferred that he stayed, But I'm not going to cry
and pretend like this is the end of the Republican Party.
It's unfortunate. But the reason people don't like Massy, for
the record, the reason Republicans don't like him when he
voted with Democrats, it was to release the Epstein viles.
Were we all against that? Now I'm for it. No
massive spending bills, no on warrantless FIZI seven h two surveillance,
(24:28):
no on blank check four and eight, and unauthorized wars.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
For this, we're mad at Massey.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah, it's it's just, I guess, a very complicated hate.
Maybe maybe that would be a better term. But I
will say that pine cones are no longer allowed.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Okay, So he had on his way out the door,
there was Laura Lumer dropped a some scandal about him
having a phone, a boner phone where he talked to
chicks or something.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
I don't know. I didn't.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
I always feel like when you drop something like that
on election day, last minut is it. We don't even
have time to check and see if it's real, much
less if this affects the election.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
I don't know or not.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
I don't know if it did either. You notice when
I just made an argument for Massie, do you notice
the one thing I didn't mention. It's a country that
starts with an eye. I'm not real opinionated about Israel.
I know that pisses people off sometimes. Two things I
don't talk about much on the radio. An abortion, I've
never had one.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Israel.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
I've never been there, So I just try to talk
about things that affect me. I live in Texas, gun rights,
free speech, crime, things that I actually know about. I
never been to Israel. Do I want to piss away
our national budget on Israel?
Speaker 2 (25:41):
No?
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Do I want I ran to win the war? No?
Speaker 1 (25:45):
Should we have a long winded argument about getting in
and out? It doesn't matter at this point. The war
has already happened. It doesn't matter what you think of it.
But all that being said, on his way out the
door yesterday, Thomas Massey had this to say. But I
would have come out sooner, but I had to call
my opponent concede, and it took a while to find
ed Gal Ryan and tel Aviv Oh. I like his
(26:08):
voting record. I find Thomas Massey to see. He seems
like a genuine person. He seems principled. But yesterday I
spent the whole day saying this isn't just about Israel.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
And then on his way.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
And then on his way out the door, he drops it.
He's like tel Aviv. I'm like, god, damn it.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Turn you kind of see these people that are losing
their primaries how they really feel, and they're Once they
lose their primary, then you know, they can say whatever
they want or do whatever they want, like Bill Cassidy,
you know, and John Cornyn.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Well, John bat Cassidy's switching votes.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Now, you know I misspoke when I said Cornyn. Yeah, okay,
same thing exactly. Hey, but all that being said, Jarvis,
if you know who that has on Twitter, had a
great joke.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
He's like, don't think about it so.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Much as losing a congressman as gaining a podcaster.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Because podcasters change elections. Right, have you heard of what
do they call it?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
The Candice Owens, Tucker Carlson, they call it podcast to Stan.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Oh Man, I've not heard that before. That is hilarious.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Whether you like those people or not, you have to
admit that that's kind of funny. I enjoy humor on
both sides. Doesn't FaZe me. I like Scott Jennings, I
don't necessarily agree with his take on Massy.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
But on his way out the door, he had this
to say, it's.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
The most expensive House primary in US history. Sure, the
President made it a priority to get rid of Thomas Massey,
and he succeeded because Massey had frankly become an opponent
of the president inside of the party, and you just
can't do that, you know, Massey used to, you know,
reliably vote with the Republicans. That number had been falling
over time. This is one of the most conservative districts
(27:43):
in the country. It's certainly a conservative area of Kentucky.
They gave Donald Trump a massive victory in twenty twenty four,
and they expect the Republican congressman who represents them to
be part of the team. The two big issues in
the race that were in most of the advertising had
to do with tax cuts, and Massey was against Trump
on both of his big border security and tax cut bills,
(28:06):
and so they said, look, we can get a Republican
congressman that'll be part of the team and support the president.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
That campaign worked.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
I just want to also add one other thing.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
Thomas Massey tonight in his concession speech said something despicable,
anti Semitic, nasty, gut or politicians.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
It was the tel Aviv comment. We already went there,
you know.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
In twenty twenty four, Massey was uncontested ninety nine percent
of the vote. Donald Trump got sixty six point nine
percent of the vote in that district. I just kind of,
like a lot of people, I just assumed Thomas Massey
was more popular in his district than Trump was. I
did not think I was surprised by this, but I'll
admit I hadn't looked at much pulling at on it either.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
Yeah. So two things that I guess we learned yesterday
is that MAGA still has They're not gone like the
mainstream media wants to allude to. And the power of
the Trump endorsement is still there.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
Yeah, for sure, MAGA is not gone. No, they still Orela.
It's a surprise to the mainstream media, but maybe not
a surprise to everyone else in the meantime.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
That's why I don't speak so heavily on Kentucky because
I don't live there. I don't know the demographics. I
know Texas way more. That's why we discussed Texas politics
so much.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
Same.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
I'm a big fan of Ram Paul, I was a
fan of Massy. People asked me, They're like, how could
you before Trump, but also before Massy. I support people
that are pushing the country in the direction I wanted
to go in, in the position that they're in. I
feel like Thomas Massey was to the right of Trump.
Trump was to the right of Kamala Trump was to
the right of Nikki Haley. Trump was to the right
(29:38):
of Trump was the best pick to be the president.
I feel like Massey now that he had said, this
guy that's replaced in Massy, I don't know a lot
about him. I'm not going to act like he's worse
or I have no idea. I support Trump on supporting Paxton.
I think that's a brilliant move.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
I did see the data behind the age the ages
that voted for both candidates and Massy Massey had mal
gen Z and then jen X Boomer was for the other.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Guys, and then a primary guest who comes out and
votes Boom.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Yeah, the older people.
Speaker 1 (30:08):
All right, So now anyway, Trump is now taking shots.
We've moved most people have. I don't know if Cornan
knows it, but most people in the Texas Senate race
realize it's over for courting.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
It's done.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
We've moved on to Taller Rico. Now Trump's already taking
shots at him.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
We have a great candidate.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
I believe in Texas, and I believe the Texas candidate
who is Ken Paxson.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
I think he'll win.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
I think probably he'll win very substantially, and I think
he'll go on to defeat a very defective candidate, a
candidate that believes in six genders.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
And he takes hits at Jesus Christ. And he's wearing
a mask six months ago.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
Where's anybody wearing a mask six months ago?
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Doesn't get it? Huh? And he's a vegan.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
He's not a vegan. I'm told he's a vegetarian. Now,
tall Rico is trying to walk this back. But what
Donald Trump talking about is this video. I don't know
how old this video is. I'm told it's from a
few years ago. Whatever, if you were a vegetarian climate
change activist a few years ago with no girlfriend, play
the tape and want to ask yourself, how is it
(31:14):
this guy suddenly is out eating turkey legs at the
State Fair, and suddenly, as a girlfriend, we.
Speaker 7 (31:19):
Have I think, heard more and more issues of animal welfare.
I think not just because it's the right thing to
do and the moral thing to do, but also it's,
as all of you know, necessary to fight climate change.
It is now existential that we try to reduce our
meat consumption and that we try to respect animals in
all aspects of society. And so I am proud to
(31:41):
say that our campaign has officially become a non meat campaign.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
So I was really surprised by this, Steve. You know,
when I look at tall Rico, he seems like a
guy who likes having meat, and as well the government
Listen Live Listen now proceeds of I mean radio.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
It's kind of Websterginia Perducer Kenny all right, I did
not know about this off the air.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
My good buddy, regular contributor to the show, frequent co
host of the program.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
Steve loves Aamo, that's you.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Steve told me that Amy Schumer says a botched colonoscopy
ruined her sex drive.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
And I gotta tell you, Steve, I just.
Speaker 1 (32:25):
Thinking about Amy Schumer getting a colonoscopy I think that
ruined all of our sex drives, didn't it?
Speaker 4 (32:29):
Probably know?
Speaker 3 (32:30):
I mean if I had a botched colonoscopy too, my
sex drive would be going.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Her marriage didn't work.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
It didn't make it, and I had heard it was
because she got She did a bunch of ozempic, lost
a bunch of weight, and ditched her husband and then
Janati not the first person to have this happen. Divorces
are a very common consequence of people getting on ozempic,
particularly women, I'm told often will get skinny and then
leave their husband because they think they could do better.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
I mean, maybe do you think maybe they just split
because he's not funny?
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Well, I mean she's a female community. No, I didn't
say speaking of needing ozembic. He's dead now, so not
gonna make fun of him. But Barney Frank and his
protruding nipples no longer alive anymore. You know, I have
nothing bad to say about the guy. For the most
I didn't like him when he was alive. Former Top
(33:22):
House Democrat Barney Frank dead at age eighty six, co
author of the Sweeping Dodd Frank Act of the two
thousand and eight financial crisis, he was a lawmaker from
Massachusetts who's biting with liberal politics and mastery of financial
policy made him one of the most recognizable members of
Congress for more than three decades. He's no longer with us,
(33:44):
and with him. We remember this famous tweet Donald Trump
twenty eleven. Barney Frank looked disgusting nipples protruding in his
blue shirt before Congress, very very disrespectful. Rest in peace,
Barney Frank. I noticed as soon Rob Reiner died, Donald
Trump had some stuff to say.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Oh man, I forgot about that.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
I'm not hearing him say anything about Barney Frank.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
Now, Barney Frank is from a different time when there
were Democrats who supported Israel.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
That time has kind of changed, hasn't it.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
It's kind of crazy thing, how things kind of like
flip flopped, right, Have you kind of noticed that over time,
like Democrats talking points of Republican talking points have kind.
Speaker 4 (34:21):
Of certainly on the border.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
It feels like Republicans have mostly been pro Israel and
Democrats were kind of pro Israel for a long time.
And now with this young generation, young conservatives seem torn
on Israel. Young liberals hate Israel, hate it. A lot
of young conservatives are not fervent Israel supporters.
Speaker 4 (34:42):
I'm right in the middle. I'm a millennial.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
To me, it's like, eh, I don't care if Israel exists,
It's not my problem. I don't want to hemorrhage money
for them. They have money. We don't have to give
Israel money. No, their GDP is crazy. But if Israel
wants to go to war with Irene, I don't care
go to war with Iran.
Speaker 4 (34:58):
There's nothing to do with me.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
We always we get sucked into the Middle East so
many times, I mean, what the last thirty forty years? Right, well, well,
what point do we like cut it off? You know,
but you bring up a good point about the younger generation.
You were just stating earlier. How you know, there's Donald Trump,
and then to the right is Thomas Massey, is Dean Blazarian.
Even further to the right of Massey.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Okay, so Dan Bilzarian is a social media influencer.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
He's seen for Congress in Florida, right.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
He is now now he's a politician, but for a
long time. Okay, but hey, Trump was a reality game
show host. So you know, it's the world changed, it
flipped upside down. The thing that and wasn't there. Dennis
Hoff was the owner of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch. He
got elected to Congress and then right when he was
going this had a pimp right and right as he
was on his way there, he had a heart attack
(35:46):
and died.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
By the way. Nice guy. We used to interview him
on the radio a lot.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
He once sent one of our listeners was a dad
whose wife left him and he was dying of cancer,
and we and we sent this man to the Moonlight
Bunny Ranch could go meet Air Force Amy or one
of the girls there.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
I don't remember what her name was.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
I forgot where we were going with this. Oh, yeah,
Dan bils Arian. Dan bils Arian was for a long time.
Wasn't he a Navy seal or something like that? Some
Spec cops kind of dude. Yeah, believe did he help
pay to produce the movie Loan Survivor that?
Speaker 3 (36:17):
I do not know.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
I don't know either.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
He's he's very short, and I only say that because
it's the thing people mock him for. But when you
see him on social media, it's often him in a
tiny pair of shorts with nine naked chicks on a boat.
And that was his brand for a long time, and
now he wants to be a politician, and he doesn't
like Israel and he really doesn't like the Jews apparent.
Speaker 3 (36:40):
I don't know. I was looking up about Dan Bilzourrian.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Dan Bil's Aarian?
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (36:43):
Okay? And is that even his real name? I don't know.
I don't know enough about the guy.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
I feel like if anyone I just look, if you're
gonna hate a religion, I think it should be Islam.
That's my two cents. But uh, I get it. You
know you don't like Israel.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Okay. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
I haven't heard enough of him talk to really judge
the guy, but I do feel like blaming the Jews.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
For all the world's problems. It's just I don't know.
It seems a little overreaching.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I don't know, because a lot of Jews don't agree
on anything, wouldn't she say, like George Soros and what's
his name? Benjamin and yahoo, Well they're both Jews, but
they don't agree on anything politically correct? Yes, right, I
don't know. What's your two How long have you been
Jewish for? Since my nose grew up? I get called
that all the time, so I'm not by the way,
(37:31):
but anyway, so yeah, then Blasiarian donated one million dollars
for a credited acting role.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Okay, it's a neat budget for the movie.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
A million dollars to be in the movie. And then
What's His?
Speaker 1 (37:41):
And then Loane Survivor was a cool movie. I thought,
so anyway, Morgan Latrelle not in politics anymore.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
That was how we got him. It's weird how quickly
the landscape changes in politics.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
No more Eric Swawell, no more, Dan Crenshaw, probably no more,
John Cornyn, probably no more. Bill Cassidy. Right, I'm sure
unless that's a right in, I think it's unlikely. Nancy
Pelosi this is her last year in politics. She's going
away soon. Mitch McConnell, he's on his last term in
a future. Jasmin Crockett's on her way out the door.
No more, Massy, no more, Marjorie Taylor Green crazy. These
(38:13):
are names we couldn't have gotten through a data political
talk radio without mentioning most of those people.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
That's true. But up and coming. You know about the DSA,
Tell me about it. The Democrats, the Democratic Socialists of America. Yeah,
that's the up and coming I guess New Democrat Party.
Wasn't that what Jasmine was? I don't know, but Ilean
o Lamar, the New York City mayor, they're all part
of that.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
Jamal Bowman, his career is already over?
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Is that?
Speaker 4 (38:38):
Corey Bush? Is that her name in Missouri? Her careers?
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Some of these people, it was new, But is it
even new if the people that were in it or
their careers are already over.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
I mean yeah, maybe they were just like freshmen and
out done. Yeah, and done like football, like college football.
Remember Beto O'Rourke, Remember Wendy Davis. You don't hear about
them anymore. Yeah, anyway, that reminds me of this. Here's
another fun James Tallerico clip to remind everybody. This is
the little League backup picture that the Democrat Party is
selected to go up against Ken Paxton.
Speaker 7 (39:08):
For me, prophetic voices like Jesus have helped me reckon
with my own whiteness, my own masculinity, my own certainty,
my own ego.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
It's a never ending process and it's a painful process.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
And the Bible says, getting abortionhit right. Yeah, dude, this
is the guy, you know. For me, Christianity's been great
because I'm ashamed of the fact that I'm a white male.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Who is straight. I'm straight.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
I'm not yay, guys, not yay, emphasizing on straight.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
I have a girlfriend. She lives in Canada. We at
stake together all the time. That's her. I it's not no,
we're no. She's real. She's a model. You just don't
know her.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
She did she went to a different school. I talked
to her on my boner phone all the time.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
Talked talked to her on the boner phone. Well, who
among us? All right, here's anything.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
From Texas politics. I wanted to highlight real quick. Hang on,
let me get this on the screen. So our friend
Brad Johnson is reporting there were two fundraisers in Houston
this week. Governor Abbott shows up and the issues a
warning of November disaster for Texas Republicans, departing from the
public boldness he's expressed at press conferences. This is a
(40:18):
shock to people, so much so that this chick zochatel Hinajosa,
I don't know who she is. She's a senior communications
strategist for CNN has gone out and says Abbot, he's
worried about losing in November.
Speaker 4 (40:32):
I don't know how many people realize this. I assume
Brad knows it. But you know, news is news.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
When you're at a fundraiser talking to a bunch of
people that write giant checks and you tell him everything's fine.
Speaker 4 (40:44):
Do you think you're gonna get a giant check out
of him?
Speaker 3 (40:46):
Not at all. You have to pre sub doom and gloom.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (40:49):
Now, when you're at a press conference or a rally
with the constituents, Hey, guys, we're going out there.
Speaker 4 (40:54):
We're gonna crash, we're gonna kill it.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Then you leave, you go to the cocktail party with
all the wealthy elites, you know, whether the Dick Weekly's
and the Tim Dunns or whatever. And then it's like, look, guys,
it's not looking good right now. You've seen these polling numbers.
I mean, oh, Paxton and his scandals. James Tallerico is
so popular with sex workers. Sex workers are voting now,
are told he's going to get the twink vote in
(41:16):
the vegan vote. You know what, if you could write
me a giant check, I frankly, I think that's all
this is. I think that's all that this is about.
But still CNN is having a heyday with it today.
Oh yeah, and I'm sure their campaign notices this. And
oh look who reposted that, right, Senator Yeah, that was
one of the reasons why I highlighted it. Let me
put that on the screen for those that can't see
(41:37):
because we're on the radio, it says Senator John Cornyn
reposted this.
Speaker 4 (41:41):
I Steve, I didn't even explain to.
Speaker 1 (41:43):
Our radio listeners. We've been live streaming this whole time.
A right, and now we're about to end quick reminder
