Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jiganic government sucks. The suit of happiness radio is do
us Liberty and freedom will make you smiles of a
suit of habbiness on your radio toil, just as cheeseburgers,
libery rise at the food happen.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Today is National Bike to Work Day. Unless your name
is Pete Booty Jake, remember him for him, It's National
put your bike in the back of a van day
and pretend to ride it to work. Remember when he
did that? Ridiculous? Hey, everybody, thanks for being here this afternoon.
A lot of guests. Michael quinn Sullivan stopping by him
with the latest from texasscorecard dot com. We're going to

(00:47):
talk about early voting happening next to it. It starts
on Monday. I'll tell you all of my endorsements too.
I want you to get out there and vote. And
a whole bunch of comedians will be here in the
room and just a little bit stick around for that.
It's going to get It's Friday. We're gonna try to
have fun. But first, you know, every once in a while,
the federal government tries to stick its nose so far

(01:09):
into your wallet that even the courts have to smack
it back down. And that's exactly what just happened with
a bunch of financial busybodies called finnsen Over at the
Treasury Department. It's a little underreported news story today I
think deserves more attention. There's a lot of these, Like
there was a story about an ied discovered in a
dim and mobile Alabama. Why would they put it there?

(01:31):
Great question, But that's not what this is about. This
is about what just happened in Texas. Let's say you
sell your old place, your old home, whatever, You pocket
a nice fat check, and then you decide to buy
the next house outright, no mortgage because you got the money,
No bank breathing down your neck, just cash on the barrel.
A lot of regular average people like you and I

(01:53):
would do this through an LLC or a family trust
because you know, maybe your family's accountant isn't an idiot
and they want to keep things private and legal. Totally normal,
happens every day. Well back in March, the Feds rolled
out a new rule. Every single one of those cash
deals had to get reported to Washington. The title company
had to collect the real owner's names, where the money

(02:16):
came from, how much you paid your whole financial underwear
drawer and ship it straight to the government, not because
you looked shady, not because they had a warrant, just
because you paid cash and you used a company to
make the purchase. And that's what they do. Every single

(02:37):
time they tried to turn the entire American housing market
into a personal spying database. Most title companies started groaning
and complying because the law is a law. But one
gutsy little outfit in Tyler, Texas Flowers Title Company said actually, no,
hell no, absolutely hell no, and then they sued. Turns out,

(03:00):
last month, a federal judge named Jeremy Kernaudel in East
Texas looked at this monstrosity and basically said, you got
to be kidding me. He ruled that finn Send the
Treasury Department had zero legal authority under the old Bank
Secrecy Act to force blanket snooping on normal transactions. The
law is supposed to catch real cook crooks. That's what

(03:22):
the government does. We're not supposed to treat every cash
house buyer like a cartel boss. So this judge killed
the entire role nationwide, snap of a finger. It's gone.
The bureaucrats are already appealing, of course, because once they
get a taste of your private info, they're kind of
like raccoons in a dumpster. They're not going to leave voluntarily.

(03:46):
So you're probably asking, Okay, what's going away, Kenny? Why
should I care? Because letting the government casually spy on
your everyday finances is like handing your nosiest, most controlling
neighbor or ex girlfriend or whoever it is, the keys
to your house and saying, hey, only look in the fridge,
only take a peek in the cupboard. By tuesday, that

(04:10):
person's going to be in your underwear drawer taking notes.
Once they build the database, the government of that is
they always find new and exciting ways to use it
against you. And let's be honest, the modern left is
a real love affair with this kind of creepy control.
They dress it up like we're fighting financial crime, we're
protecting democracy, but what they really mean is they don't

(04:34):
trust law abiding citizens, free people like you and I
to handle our own damn money without big Brother breathing
down our throats. I've seen this movie before. It always
ends the same way. You remember when the IRS under
Obama suddenly started slow walking tax exempt applications for every

(04:56):
Tea Party group in the country. Yeah, it was the
irs Tea Party scandal. It's kind of a big deal.
Conservative groups got buried in audits, they got buried in
endless paperwork, while left wing outlets sailed right through. It's
the same old We're only here to stop the bad guys. Excuse.

(05:17):
Think about how fast the FEDS labeled pissed off parents
at school board meetings as domestic potential terrorists. Once the
surveillance machines humming, the authoritarians can't resist flipping the switch
on anyone who gets in their way or thinks the
wrong thoughts. Hell, they did it to people for going
to Latin Mass in the Catholic churches. It's the same

(05:41):
instinct every time with big government types on the left.
More forms, more reports, more tps, cover sheets, more eyes
on you for your own damn good. They love power
wrapped in a compassion bow. Meanwhile, the rest of us
just want to buy a house, run a business, live

(06:03):
our lives without some pencil pusher in Washington treating us
like we're laundering money for Pablo Escobar's cousin. So this
Texas ruling is beautiful, It's great. It's an old school SmackDown.
It's the Constitution telling the government your wallet is not
a public utility, your property is not a federal event.

(06:26):
Americans could still buy a house with their own damn
money without filing a financial confession to the fence. Score
one for liberty, one for common sense, and a big
fat zero for the surveillance state. That being said, keep
your eyes open. They'll try it again. They've tried it before.

(06:47):
They'll be back next year with a new form, a
new rule, a new reason why you need to try
to explain yourself. But today, today freedom got the last laugh.
And that's pretty cool. I think you're listening to King
Webster's Super Happiness, Very Spicy Radio. All right, listen to this,

(07:07):
Listen to this. Krispy Kreme has just unveiled orange creamsicled donuts.
Take that ozempic. I know, I know, the war between
fast food and ozempic continues. It's a touchy time to
be alive, but I digress. I have always enjoyed, you know,
lately on Friday we have all these comedians in the
studio and journalists and stuff, And I'll tell you one

(07:29):
of my favorite people to talk to on the radio
is still the very brilliant, dangerous journalist Michael quinn Sullivan,
the King Slayer figuratively speaking not literally, of Texas politics.
I love doing a review of what happened in Texas
politics this week with a man I often consider to
be the smartest guy in Texas media, Michael Quinn Sullivan,

(07:50):
live right now from an undisclosed location. Michael, I see
this news just broken. You're one of the only people
talking about the Texas Supreme Court under Chief Justice Jimmy
Blacklock said, penalties imposed during the twenty twenty five walkout
by all those Democrat lawmakers barely scratched the surface of
the House's constitutional authority. This is a big deal. This

(08:12):
is a big news story, kind of like the CIA
whistleblower talking in front of the Senate this week about
how Fauci tried to cover up how the pandemic started.
This is one of those things where I feel like
it's a problem everybody was aware of and we never
really got a resolution on it. Give me your take. Yeah, Look,
I mean.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
We have this problem. We're aware of bad things that happen,
and we say, well, I sure hope someone else takes
care of it, and then when everyone says I hope
someone else takes ever it, that means no one takes
care of it. And that's kind of what you see
happening with the Democrats in the Texas House, where the
Democrats fled the state, they busted the constitutional coalm requirement,

(08:56):
trying to thwart business, being obstructionists, and and so Governor
Abbott said to the Supreme Court, hey, you guys need
to take care of this, and the Supreme Court has
essentially said to the Governor, no, that's not our job.
The Texas House needs to take care of it. The
Texas House needs to clean up its own business. And
quite frankly, Kenny, I think that that's probably a good

(09:18):
moral lesson for all of us. You don't ask someone
to come in and clean clean up your mass, clean
up your own darn mess. And the Texas House, clearly,
according to this Texas Supreme Court now has not done
a sufficient job of cleaning up their own mess. And
hopefully the Republican majority will take a look at this
opinion and say, gee, maybe we shouldn't be such pushovers

(09:40):
and can know the people do our job for him.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
But that's probably asking too much. I feel like ever
since the primary ended, and let's face it, Abbott crushed
every one of these little candidates who wanted to take
him on. He's been kind of cocky lately. It's like
he doesn't Is he moving back to the left again
to get ready for the general election? And why because
most people don't even know the name of his opponent.
Is it James Tallerico being on the ticket that's making

(10:02):
them talk act that way? What's your take on that?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You know, look, look, I think I have a slightly
different I think the governor pushing a number of reforms
kind of a big marquy for know whether he will
actually follow through is always the other question, you know,
which which Greg Abbot is going to show up? Is
it the is the Greg Abbott who does a good
press conference or is that the Greg Abbott who doesn't
see anything when the legislature is doing stupid stuff? That

(10:27):
that's kind of you know, the didy given day, it
could be one of the other. But look, all these
cats tend to respond. And you know, I hate to
be and I know I'm something of the couple of
broken records, but all these cats tend to respond to
the to the electorate. You and I may not always
believe that, but it is absolutely true, and that for
too many of our Republican lawmakers, they get mixed signals

(10:52):
from us, and they think, oh, they're supposed to get
along with the Democrats apparently, and none of us fight
back hard enough, none of us punish the recalcultants enough.
When they start feeling heat at the ballot box, that's
when they start seeing the light. I'm paraphrasing the great
former US Center from Illinois and saying that, But I

(11:13):
think that's the that. I think that you and I
have to own some of our own responsibility here. That
too too many of our friends, too many the guys
who go to church with too many people we see,
you know, at the coffee shop and at the gym.
To them who say they're Republicans don't bring enough pressure
to bear on their lawmakers. They will grumble, but they're

(11:34):
not going to kick their pal out of office over it.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Okay. So I noticed that last year Senate Bell eighteen
fifty one passed. This was supposed to stop counties around
the state from hiking up the cities from hiking property taxes.
Didn't matter. Yeah, one hundred and thirty Texas cities raising
property taxes. This is absolutely destroying life for middle Americans

(12:00):
in the state of Texas. You look at the affordability issues,
just the cost of living in this state, and it's
crystal clear. This is the in my opinion, the number
one thing that's making it hard for average people to
buy new houses. Obviously, we can't do anything about Iran,
but we can do something about this. Maybe gas prices
are high. Enter Attorney General Ken Paxton actually doing something

(12:21):
about a law that we just passed to these one
hundred and thirty Texas cities. Not get the news.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Yeah, look, so these cities, what they're required to do
is do a financial audit, make the audit results publicly available,
and customer has to meet certain criteria so that they
before they can increase their taxes. And an increased taxes
doesn't always just mean kidny. You know, changing the tax
right now you can keep you can actually cut the
tax rate and increase taxes in your city. It's a

(12:48):
really cool thing because of the way property taxes work. Right,
the percentage the levee is the least important number in
calculating your parchitect Right, your appraisal is The more important
and so a lot of these cities will do is
then oh, yeah, well we are cutting our taxes by
you know, you know, by you know, half a penny
or something like that, half a percent, but your property

(13:10):
tax rate, so that because of appraisal.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Well, what this law.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Said was look if if if the if the net
effect of the city council's action is going to be
to do anything other than the no new revenues, they
have to do an audit.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
They have to have this audit available.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Well, one hundred and thirty at least one hundred and thirty,
this is real clear, at least in thirty. Packson's office
is not yet done looking at the cities playing these games.
So currently we know one hundred and thirty cities where
they tried to let, let you know, get more revenues
out of the the population, and Paxson saying, no, you
can't do that.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
You know.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
For some folks are surprised by Paxton doing this, I'm
actually not. Before I started a Texas scorecard, I ran
a group called Texans for Physical Responsibility, and we would
give awards to legislators who stood up for the taxpayers.
And fourth noting here Kim Paxton was a taxpayer champion
in the Texas House and then in the Texas Senate,

(14:06):
long before he thought had dreams of being an Attorney
general or a US senator. Kim Paxton has the street
cred in my mind for a fellow who, at the
end of the day is looking out for the taxpayers.
So in many ways, this is to me, as a
guy who looks at city budgets and tax rates and
things like that, this is Kim Paxton returning to the

(14:27):
Kim Paxton I knew and loved, the guy who was
more than happy to take a baseball bat to the
bureaucrats on behalf of the taxpayers.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
I see it that way too. I've always thought of
Pat Paxton's a right wing populist. Paxton was always a
friend of the Tea Party. No matter what happens next week,
we're gonna lose the best attorney general in America, which
is a shame. But you know, sometimes you see little
warning signs about what's to come. I don't know if
it's just me imagining this, but I read a story
today in The New Yorker about how Daily Wire is crumbling.

(14:59):
Ben Shapiro's news outlet. I mean, who knows if they're
even right, but that they're hemorrhaging money. It's always seemed
to me. I don't have an issue with some of
these guys at the Daily Wire, but it always felt
to me like that was a neocon news outlet for millennials,
and Neoconism is not popular right now. That's not especially
not with with millennials. All that being said, John Cornyn

(15:22):
is a neocon? Is that is that the writing on
the wall next week Paxton versus Cornyn. Early voting starts Monday.
If Daily Wire can't make it, how can John Cornyn
still have a career. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Look, I think that more and more Americans are waking
up to the problem of the forever wars. More and
more Americans, you're waking up to the problem with the
with the do good rism of big government. As long
as it's people with ours next name, big government is
cool and fine. No, it's not. Big government exists to
rob you of your life, your liberty, and your happiness.

(15:56):
That is what big government does. Because because big government
as a leviath, than it eats everything around it. In
what it eats is life, liberty, and happiness. So I
think that more and more people are realizing you just
can't have big government and be a conservative. Maybe it
can be a Neocon, but it can't be a conservative.
And I think that when Texans are going to the polls,

(16:17):
well maybe fask is is the federal government more or
less responsible? Is it bigger or smaller because of the
actions John Corny sac And look, he's one guy of
five hundred and thirty five for thirty five members the House.
One members that he's one of that crew, but he's
a pretty important one, and every single one of them had,
every single member of the Congress. House has to be
committed to slaying the Leviathan. Until we have people in

(16:41):
the US House and the US Senate who are every
day pulling out a sword and hacking away at that Leviathan,
they're not doing the job that they tell us they're
doing if they have an RN extra the name. And
I think that's why you see, whether it's the problems
the Daily Wire seems to have or the problems that
John Cornon seems to have, I think it's because more
and more people we're saying, we expect you every day

(17:02):
to be slaying the Lebane.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Isn't it a fat perfectly put. I love that analogy
that is so well stated. Michael quinn Sullivan. Early voting starts,
excuse me, early voting for the runoffs starts on Monday,
and then, of course our neighbors in Louisiana their primary
ends on Saturday. This could be the end of John
Cornyn and Bill Cassidy this month. Michael, I know you

(17:24):
got it run I do too. The website texasscorecard dot com.
One of the most dangerous men in Texas politics. He
destroys the careers of the worst politicians. And to that,
I would say that Michael is a friend to Texans everywhere.
Follow him on social media. Check out his website, Texas
scorecard dot com. Stop it, Government, get out of my life.

(17:46):
You're listening to the Pursuit of Happiness radio. New report
claims that McDonald's is going to get rid of the
self serve soda fountains, which is too bad, since standing
for refills is the only exercise most people get when
they eat McDonald's regularly. It's a real shame they're getting
rid of it. Why is everybody looking at will? What's

(18:06):
the matter? Hey, hey, hey, fatties, I'm loving it. We
are right, all right, we're doing We're doing jokes? Are
we doing jokes?

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Out?

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Let me introduce everybody first, real quick, Hi, everybody. Kenny
Webster here live on KPRC Radio AM ninety fifty ninety
four five three HD. Also live on besides Facebook. Steve
love Zamos here we are on his massive X account
this afternoon. And uh, Steve, a regular part of the show,
doesn't really need an introduction, but congratulations on your new

(18:40):
deal with the NRA. That is very awesome. But a
couple of people that are not normally in the studio
who I am a huge fan of. Most people who
listen to the show know that I'm Moonlight Weekend hobby.
I do a little stand up so I meet a
lot of great comedians in my line of work, and
one of them is this guy, Prince is Funny on Instagram,
Prince Elias. Am I saying, I'm saying you're last year,

(19:01):
I'm saying it right, I don't know, I'm retarded, Prince.
And then also in the building right now, our listeners
definitely know this guy will load and goes back and
forth from Texas to Mississippi. Well, I'm not saying our
audience loves you because you're a chubby redneck for Mississippi.
But it doesn't hurt. Describe what he looks like.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Quote Jerry claw Klower. I am the mouth of the South.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I love it. If we're talking about the the Sody fountains,
we can we can do that.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
First off, the new Sody fountains, you can't even.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
Do a suicide in them because they don't have the
little push buttons you have to.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You have to. It's it's all. It's all Ai, it's
all fountains.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Yeah, that's why they're getting rid of them. McDonald's. McDonald's
wants to say it's broken to.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Ice.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Well, ice has never been bigger than it is now.
Ice cream ice cream.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Oh, before we started, I love limericks. Uh do you
mind if I read off a limericks?

Speaker 2 (20:08):
What's funny? You bring that up?

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Will?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
This week was National Limericks Day, I think on Tuesday.
So please share up. Yeah, let me let me, let
me let me try, let me let me pull this
one up.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Uh it's uh, it says, uh, let me let me
figure it out one second, let me find it, let
me find it.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
This is going great. Yeah, yeah, yeahs, roses a phone.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Uh, these volumes on me as a person.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Roses are red, violets are nice. Your girlfriend's Mexican, I'm
calling ice. Let's let's start with this. Roses are red,
violets are nice.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
The head of Border Patrol just got fired for prostitutes.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Said, I said that you cannot swear. You could do
many things on this radio station.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
But for finding love, for fighting love with a lady
with a lady in Tijuana?

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Can I can I teach you a little bit about broadcasting?
Sometimes the fun of terrestrial radio is getting around the
dirty word. I'll give you an example. Instead of saying
the F word, you could say bang, you could say
perform the beast to two backs, h explore, exploring your anatomy,
bumping ugly a very good one.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Yeah, yeah, the the head of the Border Patrol put
some clue goo uh.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Into a lady will.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
I'm actually very impressed that you lasted two minutes.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
There's the comedians here all. I have a lot to
say about this. So I want Steve to explain to
our audience who is Chud the Builder and why are
people so upset about what is going on with.

Speaker 6 (21:56):
Okay, So this guy is an alleged influencer, whatever you
want to call it, looks like he probably uh teleported
from the eighteen eighties riding a gigantic bicycle with the
gigantic wheels.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
It's a money farthing.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
After after Chud the Builder was done tying up women
on railroad tracks, Ud.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Come to twenty first century. That man, that man, that man,
what was That man.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Has an Alexander Graham Bell phone, you know the one
that operator just at the last minute, Popeye swept in
and saved everyone who.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Pope, she's got camps today.

Speaker 6 (22:40):
She got Back in my day, my phone number was three.

Speaker 7 (22:45):
All I'm gonna say is, if you're gonna go around
the neighborhood, in the hood, anyhood and just just you
should just write plush me in the face on your forehead,
if you're gonna just do stuff like this and be like,
I didn't know that this was gonna happen, Okay, it was.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
It was very predictable. This guy, Chugged the Builder made
a He made a job out of saying the N word,
putting cameras in people's faces, saying the N word to
them and then seeing how they react and with predictable results.
We all knew this was inevitable. Someone's gonna get hurt,
someone's gonna get arrested. Turns out more than one person's
been hurt and been arrested. As as a guy who

(23:21):
is a free speech absolutist, I think you should legally
be able to say anything you want. You should be
able to defend yourself. Certainly, this guy is not helping
our cause. This it's it's Prince is black. I don't

(23:41):
know if our audio radio listeners can hear, but Prince,
you are from the community. Prince you're not like.

Speaker 7 (23:46):
The community, not damn the black ones.

Speaker 5 (23:56):
Certainly can't they community nowadays? And that I think.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
People if I say the community, they probably it either
means gay or black. And I think there's only two communities.
And if I say he's a brother, I think everyone knows.

Speaker 6 (24:09):
You're sounding like Clayton Bigsby your heart.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
I tried to do a bit for a long time.
Uh that never worked. Where I just go why why
every time black people make communities? Why did we want
to build highways through God?

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Well, look at that guy.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
There's something about third Ward that just needs to idio.
What bets the question did black people move near the
airport or they build the airport the black people?

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
Let me go back as a community, all right.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
I mean, Prince, I want to ask a black man
a question. And there's only one Martin Luther King Junior
Boulevard in America where you don't get nervous and feel unsafe,
and it's Austin, Texas. Why is that? I'm just I
don't know, I'm curious. Why is that pretty?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Hey?

Speaker 7 (25:02):
Go Lie, this is a this is a Martin Luther
King drive over here too?

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Yeah, but over there? Yes. I mean, what I'm suggesting
is people that look like, let me show Steve here
on camera, would probably there's probably only one Martin Luther
King Junior Boulevard in America, and weirdly, it's Austin, the
whitest city in Texas? Is that? Why is that?

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Why?

Speaker 2 (25:25):
It's the Why is it? Why is that the only
one where there's white people? Why is that?

Speaker 7 (25:29):
I don't know that That's something you should ask your community.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
We're just rolling with it.

Speaker 5 (25:37):
Man.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
We have to go to commercial break here in a minute.
It took us a long time to get to our
first topic. The first topic was going to be this
is Chud the builder A Cia syop was going to
be my question. It's election time. Tennessee is very racially
polarizing at the moment. They just got rid of the
black district, which is right Matterfestasy, They got rid of

(25:59):
the Democrat district in Memphis, and then all of a sudden,
this guy shows up screaming the N word just in
time for the primaries. It feels a little bit like
the summer at twenty twenty to me, where the is this?

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Was?

Speaker 2 (26:12):
This created artificially by the federal government. Well, you're a
member of a community. What do you think?

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Uh? First off, I started doing comedy in Memphis. Tin
a key nine oh one. Uh in this hell? Uh?

Speaker 5 (26:25):
I love how you justs.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Memphis, Memphis.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
Uh jerry jerry mandering. Jerry mandering is gay, uh jerry
and cowardly.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
That's a very antiquated idea. Now now everyone likes jerry mandering.
Republicans Democrats, they are everyone. No, everyone does it to
to to their own space.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Like like everyone, everyone tries to on Uh well that
is twice in one day. Everyone tries to uh be
to the people that they don't like. When they jerrymander
their state. And Uh, I don't know if you've seen
New Jersey or Washington. Uh it is it is very blue, Uh,

(27:13):
in a in an uncomfortable way.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Sure. Uh. And I think Memphis is dope. Uh and
and and and.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Trying to trying to make that three districts instead of
one is all right, here's my plan, Okay, it is
everybody plan. We we when we redistrict everything. You have
to have straight lines when you read, just just to
figure everything out.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
So as you can tell from what will Loaded's commentary,
he hates the lgbt Q to the government. I started list.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Proceeds of Happiness Radio with k Webster, a k A producer.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Well, this is exciting news. Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Allen
have just announced that they will go for Stephen Colbert's
final show and do an appearance. So instead of not
watching originals, you won't watch the repeats, Ladies and gentlemen,
after they take off. No one's gonna watch the reruns.
Nobody's gonna watch any of it. No one watched any
of these shows when they were on the air. Now

(28:18):
they're going away, and people are gonna act like they're
gonna miss it. I don't buy it. I'm not buying
it at all.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
Will Odin Corpora greed is fascinating, just just just conceptually,
where it's just like, yeah, we're all friends together in
New York City and we can speak for Middle America.
It's like, dog, you've never been to Bucks, North Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
You don't know, you don't know nothing about the reason that.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
The chasm between who you are and who you think
you are is insane.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, I speak for the country. You've never visited the country,
jim Has, Jimmy Colbert, sorry, Stephen Colbert, whatever they're it's
never been to Peoria, Illinois. No, certainly, never been to Waco. No,
they're bi coastal, they're bike coastal, and like Prince two
black people watching these shows.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
I didn't even know that.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Was a show. Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon. None
of it.

Speaker 7 (29:15):
Jimmy Fallon is because the other two white people, I don't.

Speaker 5 (29:19):
Know who they are.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
I get it. I don't like it either. And it's
not because it's liberal, right, it's I just don't think
that they're funny.

Speaker 6 (29:26):
Steve, No, they're not funny and all three of them together,
I guess in celebration of Pride month.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
Maybe, Well, that's great, that's fantastic. What do black people
watch at night? Prince, You guys aren't watching.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
These Martin.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Still watch watching white drash rednecks watch that stuff too, Bro,
it's just thinking you would look outside the window, you
can watch cops.

Speaker 7 (29:50):
No, that's in the other neighborhood, the black Uh what
is it?

Speaker 5 (29:56):
Gentrified neighborhood black people?

Speaker 2 (29:59):
There is anighborhood in Houston for wealthy black people right No,
right outside of the Medical Center. Isn't there a place
right off off of Yeah? Have you guys ever seen this?
There's a map of Houston if the neighborhoods were called
what's really happening there? And one of them is like

(30:19):
the gighborhood all that, and then one of them is like,
rich black people with money live here, and it's right
outside the medical And now when I drive there, I'm like, oh,
they're here. This is where they are. I always yeah,
this is where they go. I've never seen this map.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Where where is this map at?

Speaker 2 (30:34):
I would love to locate off windows down, hold on,
I'll find it right out, honest, map, honest map of Houston.
You wouldn't believe what you can find with a little
Google star judgment. I think that's it. I think this
is it. And hang on, let me put this up
on the screens to people. So for those that have

(30:55):
never seen this before. Many visit Houston ghettos. What is say,
married pretentious white people would be the Heights, Mexicans, Shila
Jackson Lee voters live here. Where is the spot with
black people with money? It's if we're if we're talking
about jerrymandering. Uh sorry, I'm bringing back up again. Do
you remember Shila Jackson Lee's district?

Speaker 5 (31:16):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Did?

Speaker 2 (31:17):
You forgot the craziest built It was like you yeah,
and now that's going away.

Speaker 7 (31:23):
Okay, So I see more middle class black people, which
is crazy.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Many visitors first few of Houston ghettos Southwest Airlines is
what it's the top left fakes, rich people, rich people
over here Katrina refugees, and then over here somewhere on
the west side, retail, wasteland, sushi supply store. Everyone knows

(31:52):
what I'm talking about. There is a spot here somewhere
I haven't looked at this reason. This is what might
be the wrong one.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
You will get shot. Here is that's where I live
right there.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
Okay, moving on when I was when I was in
high school. When I was in high school, Uh, Katrina happened.

Speaker 7 (32:09):
I was.

Speaker 4 (32:09):
I was, uh a freshman in high school, and my
offensive line coach called a meeting, uh because he's like,
all right, boy, we're trying to go to state this year, uh,
and we're about to have a lot of Katritionans come in.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
They have a racial slur for people for these contritions.
Had never doalt with Mexicans, for because they're from Louisa.
So they're going to get into a bunch of fistfights
and you got to keep your nose clean.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
I know.

Speaker 5 (32:37):
That was another way to say a black people.

Speaker 7 (32:41):
My cousin they got married three times with six baby
Daddy Katrian's pregnant again.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
All right, Well, while we're on the topic of Houston,
let's talk about this for a minute. I'm setting up
on the screen here very soon, in downtown Houston, you
will see large metal trees that look sort of like
banana tennis rackets with blue nets in the middle of them,
and they're supposed to keep the streets cool during the
World Cup.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
This is stupid.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
I speculate they do exactly the opposite. Putting large metallic
objects downtown will collect heat, but they claim it doesn't.
And then my other question is, is she ever been in
Memorial Park during the Houston Open they put bridges barriers everywhere.
It's actually very helpful to get over the streams and stuff.
And then as soon as the Houston Open ends they
take it all down after the World Cups over, do

(33:31):
they take these monstrosities down or do they stay up?
What do you think, Steve? Are your thoughts? I'm not sure.
This looks like a huge waste of taxpayer money though, Steve.
I mean, I'm sorry you are, Steve, you're a prince. Sorry,
there's too many people.

Speaker 7 (33:43):
There, h Honestly, does it reflect the light or something?

Speaker 2 (33:48):
No, it's I don't get it. Yeah, no one can
explain it.

Speaker 7 (33:51):
If it replays the light, they's probably making homeless people
not sleep on the streets.

Speaker 5 (33:55):
If it bars, get your butt off the streets.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
If there is one thing, we don't have as much
of a problem in Houston as other big cities. And
I know you'll disagree, but it's true we do not
have the homeless problem to San Antonio or Austin. You
go where I live, I'm aware of that. I can't
even order food.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Hey, young man, Hey, you're got a quarter.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
You do seem to ordering food?

Speaker 5 (34:16):
After you do it, I can sing for the quarter
and dance.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
It's a city of six million people, Prince. There's no town.
There's homeless people.

Speaker 5 (34:24):
Okay, thinking dance, you're not getting this quarter.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
But when you're in Austin, in the fancy white neighborhood,
they have tent communities in the middle of a round circle.
It doesn't make any sense to me. What neighborhood are
you in? Don't worry about it. Yeah, I think you'll
be safe on this radio station.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
Fine, channel view, come and find me.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
All right, I think you'll be okay. Most people listening
to this radio station are never going to come inside
the Beltway. They're so scared. I love, I love.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
Part of the beauty of comedy is going out to places.
And then they're just like, I'd never go inside of Houston.
Apparently it's apparently we live in Fallujah.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
Dude. I'll tell you what. You'll could disagree with this.
I think it's the best city in America. If you
have to be in a big city. Houston is a
place that's affordable. It doesn't matter. You don't have to
be somebody, some rich guy's son to get into a
fancy restaurant, to become the mayor to anybody could do
anything here. If you work hard enough, you have a
little bit of talent, and you bribe the right guy,

(35:28):
you could do it here.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
No, Well, I used to live next to the fancy graveyard,
awful Washington.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Graveyard before is nice? No, it's a super nice graveyard.
I used to take women on dates there because that
was very, very poor.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Is that an upgrade from Mississippi? When you were by
the fancy waffle house?

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Where's my eggs?

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Where's my all star bro? Oh my god. First a
lady did do that to me the other day. I
was at a waffle house.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
As he goes, I bet you don't even need a menu.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Don't all start special.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
They scrambled the hash brown, Southern, the smothered covered, and chunk.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Uh all right, we gotta we gotta wrapped it.

Speaker 5 (36:17):
We want to hit it way. I bet you don't
need a tip.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
This radio show has been complete anarchy. Having two comedians
in here and a gun nut has made it impossible
to control. But I run everybody to get some closing
thoughts right now, Steve loves Mo, you go first.

Speaker 6 (36:32):
So I think a better option for the metal trees.
We could just install outdoor air conditioners and take care
of climate change.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Just how works, Prince Prince Elias Princess Funny on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (36:44):
I agree with that, But that's a lot of electricity
bill you gotta pay for.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
Man, you know I grew up with the turn of
lights up. I'm taking them. I'm using the restroom. You
run it out of my light bill.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
We'll load in the very funny and brilliant comedian from Mississippi.
The beauty.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
The beauty of Houston is we only started doing this
work right before, like literally a week before.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
The world comes, and so it's.

Speaker 4 (37:07):
It feels like high school where it's like, did you
know this assignment was coming up?

Speaker 2 (37:13):
I had no idea. It's not wrong about that. And
will I commend you for getting through a radio segment
without multiple swear words. Oh sorry to the rest of you.
I love you all. We'll be back bright and early
Monday morning for more of what you bought a radio for.
Thanks so much, everybody, for being here.

Speaker 6 (37:33):
You are listening to the Pursuit of Happiness Radio.

Speaker 7 (37:39):
Tell the government to kiss You're ask when you listen
to this show.
