Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's get to a question for our American mamas. Dear mamas,
would you write your kids out of your will if
they became socialists?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Well, let's ask our American mamas.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Mama, mama, mama.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Mama told me not to come.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
She said that.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Ain't the way to happen, no. And joining us now
are our American Mamas, Terry Netterville and Kimberly Burleson. No,
they can have all of my debts. I don't know.
Teach them.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Teach them.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Teach them to choose the dad they wanted.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah. All right. So, yeah, would you, if your kids,
I mean, obviously you can't, you can teach your kids
as much as you can, but everybody's got free will.
You get to choose whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
If your kids become socialists. does that affect what you
leave them.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
In your will?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I saw this thing on Dave Ramsey, and this mom
was really upset. You know, she told Dave Ramsey.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
So you had a mom that called into the show.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, a mom.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Called into the show, and she said, I'm really upset.
I was going to leave this inheritance for my daughter,
but she's a socialist, and I can't do it. Dave
Ramsey breaks out into laughter. He's really in solidarity with her.
But she says, it's not funny. Like, it's really upsetting her.
It's not funny. I don't know what to do. And
so he was saying, you know, You're okay. You're doing
the right thing. But then as I'm listening, I'm thinking,
(01:24):
you know, this girl that's a socialist, she's just in
her stupid years. She may grow out of this in
five years. She may come to see the light. Yeah.
And then what? You know, I did think, give it
to charity. And all of a sudden, she will be
cured of her socialist ways, I think, real quick.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah. Well, I love that idea of maybe having some
kind of stipulation like, okay, I'm not going to give
her any right now, but at the age of 30,
if she has her own job and she's been working
and she understands how capitalism actually helps America, then the
(02:01):
money can go to her. I don't know how you decipher,
but I'm with her, actually. If I had, let's say
I was leaving a million dollars and my kid was
all about AOC, Bernie Sanders, socialist, we're going to give
the money to all the people that don't work and
pay for their medical bills, and pay for their school.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Right, and would you want them to be donating your
million dollars to Bernie Sanders?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Right.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Right.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I would not be able to leave that money for her.
I would have to have some sort of maybe... Like
a stipend? Yeah, like you get this much after you've worked...
at your job for so many years. And then after
five years, when you have a child this much, you're
almost ensuring that they don't go broke to, not go broke,
but that they will continue to get some of your
(02:49):
love and your money because they will eventually see socialism
has never worked anywhere ever in this world. And so
the fact that they've been bumfuzzled by.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
At college, you said this happened in college. Well, of
course it did. It's probably an Ivy League college.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
71% of Democrats who have a college degree are in
favor of socialism.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
They've been brainwashed.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
By the college system. We went into debt. They get
college loans so that they can be brainwashed.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
It's unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
It is crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And then the fact that they're having to pay back these...
So college nowadays is essentially a form of socialism. Yeah.
Because it's government loans to a lot of these people.
And then the government's running the colleges... And that's the
product you're getting out. And at the end, we're teaching
people socialism and putting them in debt to do it.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
You know, Mike Rowe has been saying for years to get,
you know, we're losing our men and women who used
to go to trade schools, vocational schools. What we're seeing
now is children or students after high school, a lot
of boys especially, are choosing to go into these trade schools. Yeah.
And they're learning a vocation because they know they're going
(04:03):
to be making bank.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Oh, they're going to make six figures as soon as
they graduate.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
The jig is up.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I mean, Mike's been trying to tout this for about
a decade, but now people are seeing, oh my gosh,
I go to college and what do I get out
of it? So that's what they're doing. And I love it.
We need that. So Summer and Phillip had a guy
come help with plumbing. It was like eight or $ 900. Wow.
And I said, well, it's because he can charge that.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
It's because he can.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Right.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
So I recommend anybody that doesn't feel like college is
suitable for you, go to a trade school. You'll be
making bank and you will not be in debt.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
You'll get your parents' inheritance too. Yeah, that's right. They'll
be proud of you.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
And you'll learn the beauty of capitalism.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
That is a great way to become a capitalist is
to be running a small business successfully.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah. Mom Donnie's losing that luster. People over there are
not happy. Only the loony lefts, but the people that
are middle, you know, that are Democrat.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
And they see what he's doing. He's trying to destroy.
And they're coming out saying, what were we thinking? Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Unfortunately, there's still some people who are going, well, you're
not giving us all the stuff you promised us, but
you are raising our taxes.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah. Exactly.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
That's how socialism works, folks.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Exactly. And he's able to smile his way through it.
It's so weird how he just smiles while he says
the worst things ever.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
But they're learning.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
They're learning. You know how there's that F-A-F-O?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
They've been doing the F-A-N.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Now they're F-O-N.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
And good. They need to find out.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
That's what the F stands for is find out.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Find out.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
That's what the F stands for in that whole phrase.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
If you'd like to ask our American Mamas.
