Speaker 1 (00:00):
We got a question for American mamas. Dear mama's why
is the US so different from other countries?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Well, let's ask our American mamas.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Mama and joining us now.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Our American mama was Terry Nediville and Kimberly Burlason. You know,
this was actually my favorite thing about the World Cup, well,
my second favorite thing. My favorite thing about the World
Cup was the US's opening game. That was amazing. Then
it just kind of went downhill from that. Anyway, the
best thing about the World Cup was watching people who
came from other countries talking about how different it was
here in the US, how nice people were, how amazing
(00:43):
air conditioning is, how there's so much freedom and so
much opportunity, and how amazing the stadiums were, and the
other things they went to, rodeos or whatever events. The
people were like, it's just not like this in our country.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
And kindness they talked about the kind of and people
were talking about how sad they are since they've been home,
and that they go to the grocery store and they
miss seeing our flags, they miss seeing just that patriotism
as well. Right, I watched the most disturbing video the
other day and I'm just scrolling. It just pops up,
but it's It was based in Nigeria, where the Christians
(01:18):
are being slaughtered, and it showed all of these people.
Somebody's videotaping these people that have died, but there is
a baby attached to one of the moms who's alive,
and the guy is videotaping and you see him talking
while the baby is laying, you know, attached. He's going
over people's bodies and he's talking about it, and I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Like, get the baby, get the baby.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Why aren't you getting the baby? And I'm getting upset
about it because it's just not yeah, And I thought,
what is wrong with other countries? You know, look at India,
look at other countries where the way they treat people.
And then I thought, is it because that we're raised
in a Christian country? Is that why we're wired to
ferent And.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
We think because it does.
Speaker 4 (02:01):
It looks like a lot of other countries are not
wired to love one another and care for one another.
So I have to believe it's because we are a
Christian nation.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
And the left likes to push back on that and
say we're not a Christian nation. But if you will
look at the founding documents, and you will look at
the founders themselves, and you will look at what they
wrote about the country. We were absolutely founded on Judeo
Christian values, ethics, and beliefs, no doubt about it. And
the only reason I say Judeo Christian is because the
(02:31):
Old Testament of the Bible was it came from was Judaism, right,
And there's there's a lot of stuff in Deuteronomy from
Moses that founded what our country is.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, exactly, I think we do.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I think you're right. Are one of the things that
the fans that came from other countries, they kept saying
they love our culture, right. You know, we have a
lot of people on the left that say we don't
have a culture.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
We do have a culture.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
So we got lots of them.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, we definitely do. And I think that you've hit
on something because think about the way I'm thinking about
Sharia lah. They're trying so hard to bring that into America,
into Texas, into Texas. I saw that too. Think about
the way they treat their women, you know, as our
men are opening the doors for us in being our
(03:18):
you know, the masculine part of our family that we
love they are shaming them, punishing them, belittling, demeaning them.
That is part of their culture and they're trying so
desperately to bring that to America. That will not work.
There will be a revolution before that works. Because I
love that people saw first hand, because we were getting
(03:40):
a bad rap from the media outlets in all of
these countries, and that's one of the things that they said.
We love that we saw for ourselves that they're not
telling the truth. Now they can go back and tell
And the reason they're sad is because what they felt
was God's love. It was that kindness, you know, were
the if you're a Christian, you strive for the fruit
of the spear, you strive for the Holy you know,
(04:02):
the Holy Ghost to give you all of those things
that make us good, honest.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Money, joy, long suffering.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
That's right, and they felt that they go home wherever
they are, and I guess they don't feel it the
same way. That's what that's what we continue to fight.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
But there's also a bit of the founding in that
the people that came from Europe were fleeing a caste
system right that if you weren't upper, if you weren't
born to upper class. You were never making into upper class.
We came, they came to the colonies here, that came
to the US, and that was not the situation here.
The situation here was if you worked hard and you
(04:41):
were successful, and you were skilled, and you were talented,
you could absolutely rise up in this country. Yes, if
you were born with nothing, you could become a landowner.
You could, you could have your own farm. So there's
this idea that in the United States, again the Decoration
of Independence, all men are created equal, all men are
created That is not the founding idea of many of
(05:03):
these places in Europe where they still have this this
not everybody's equally so you don't have to If not
everybody's equal, then you don't have to necessarily treat everybody equally.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Well, the question then becomes, why do you want to
come live in our country and change it? Why do
you want to come here? If you can live that
way with your laws in your country, why do you
want to come to our free country and change the
way that we live, change the way that we believe
and how we treat each other. Doesn't make sense to me.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Yeah, And I think part of that is that they
blame the wrong thing. For why their country's messed up,
they blame colonialism, and so they're trying to come to
the US to colonize it. If you like to ask
