On this #episode of the Live Like an #Acrobat #Podcast, I am fortunate to have as my special co-host my former #Acrobaticgymnastics partner Two-Time World Champion in Acrobaticgymnastics, #USAGymnastics Hall of Fame Member, #CirqueDuSoleil Alumni, creator of @AcroArmy for #America’sGotTalent, and Internationally award winning acrobatic #choreographer for 25 years #LGBTQ+ legendary figure within Acrobaticgymnastics Arthur Davis.

Together we are spotlighting the LGBTQ+ community within acrobaticgymnastics in honor of #PrideMonth, in an #advocative effort to remind the USA Gymnastics #organization and acrobaticgymnastics community that the #Pride of the LGBTQ+ #community should be at the forefront of their #athlete-centric efforts every day.

Please join me and my co-host Arthur Davis as we #interview special guests which will include LGBTQ+ ally within the sport Sean Shields, our anonymous guest who is a recently retired athlete and for whom we will share her #stories and reflections, Arthur Valverde who is representing the #POC LGBTQ+ members within the sport, Derrick Chisamore a former LGBTQ+ acro athlete, and Canadian LGBTQ+ former acrobaticgymnast Bobby Knight. #blacktranslivesmatter #blm

Please consider voicing your desire for an amendment to the National and International AcrobaticGymnastics Code of Points and addressing this to the FIG AcrobaticGymnastics Technical Committee and to USA Gymnastics:

1. A new rule clarification that any pair group at any #competitive level does not need to be characteristically male or female in its artistry and skills

2. A new rule clarification that states mixed pairs will be allowed to alternate top and base positions at any competitive level.

In an effort to be #inclusive to LGBTQIA athletes now and in the future as well as dismantling #gender #stereotypes and #discrimination in our #sport.

*Please consider starting a petition on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community on to facilitate this amendment.
