He is a founder of Westerlaken foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 2018, as a follow up of foundation Soul Surf Project Bali. They are focused on various issues including human and children rights, coastal and marine environment, cultural heritage management, and emergency relief. Rodney is an academic, researcher, marketer, and philanthropist.
