"(New York, New York)-- Vermont-based Father-Son Country duo,
Folks Like Them, are delighted to share their new single "Broken
Watch", due May 15th, 2020.
In comparison to Chris and Allen's previous single, "I Ain't
Changing", the latest track Broken Watch is a gently finessed
country ballad that proves Folks Like Them is able to exemplify
their dynamic range of writing styles. The calm piano section

accompanied by the softly picked acoustic guitar sets a tranquil
tone throughout the track that wraps you in a blanket of comfort.
With the lyrics "When I can't figure out what the answer is, I take a
minute to look down at my wrist, and I stare at my daddy's old
broken watch to remind me that right now is all the time I've got",
Chris and Allen are painting a gentle reminder of when in doubt,
look to something that keeps you grounded."
Broken Watch is the second single off the group's upcoming EP
that's scheduled for release this summer. Their wide range of
influences all are smoothly combined throughout the collection of
songs, and stick to the overall theme of staying humble and
steadfast.
