team of George Lampy, Bethany Mantaloand Miles Taunton. Not everybody likes them,
but they don't care. Hi,George, oh gal to you indeed

(00:43):
hope by Bethany, I hope Isaid it right? You did? Yeah,
bang on, that's when you saidit perfectly so and welcome mister Miles.
Gary you're at yeah, all good, All good. So the first
team has been on in SAT withbreak this week and late in the show
I'll be talking through Hall the Lionsyou were on sour with their relevant countries

(01:07):
got on. But for now let'sdiscuss how England gone. Start with you,
George, I know you only sawthe Scotland game, so we start
with that one for you? Howdo you think England fair in that game?
And well, I'm always happen whenEngland beat Scotland because I know much
pleasure they getting beaten us, Soyou know, I look at it from

(01:27):
a different point of mass. Ijust think that I'm not a big Garreff
Southgate fan. I've got to behonest. I think he's a little bit
like Rawitt. You'll have a it'sa bit like Marmite, you'll have a
love him, rate him. ButI have to say that under England,
I think under his you know, leadership, England have become a real world

(01:48):
forced team. You know, We'vealways wanted to be like the Germans when
it comes to a tournament, wewant to be feared by everybody or you
don't want to play them. Ithink when it comes to England now under
Gareth Southgate, nobody wants to playEngland because we're that good at you know.
And I think he deserves all thecredit for that. Yeah, and
I don't always work. Sometimes wehave bad performances, but I think he

(02:13):
gets us. You know, He'sgot us right down the end of the
line on all these tournaments, andI think he deserves a great deal of
credit. Actually, I can't disagreeBethany your thoughts. Not just I can't
really comment too much. I've beena little bit busy of late. Don't

(02:38):
start crying excuses like that just becausehe got married. At getting married my
mini moon, I can't so Iforgot you can't anyway. Congratulations Bethany talking
Miles, I suppose it's up toyou and says just to carry the ship.

(03:05):
Yeah it was, it was.I think it was a decent international
break. I'd expect to win againstScotland and i'd hope for a win against
Ukraine, but we drew. Soyeah, we're still six points cerio at
the top. But here's a thoughton the Ukraine game. Do you think
it was just play out a nicedraw, guys, let's make everyone happy.

(03:27):
I know it's a little bits, but with the way the world is
at the moment, yeah maybe maybeyeah, yeah, because I think they
were very happy with the point thatthey was. They were celebrating. Indeed.

thanks to our sponsors Jinn and Motors. Why not go along let's see what

(05:51):
they have on site for you rightOur first guest, Tonight was born in
Doncaster in nineteen eighty. He startedhis playing career for Wordsworth Welfare before moving
on to Huddersfield Town, who purchasedhim for two thousand pounds, where he
played two hundred and forty eight timesover ten years. He then moved on
to Yovil before signing for the Lionsin two thousand and nine, where he

(06:14):
played sixty seven times, scoring ninegoals. When he left the Lions he
went back up north to Rutherham wherea couple of loan spells at a Quinton
and Stockport occurred. He then movedinto non league with spells at Halifax,
Bradford Park Avenue and Michelson Over Sports. Once he hung up his boots,
he moved back to Huddersfield to starthis coaching career, which included a spell

(06:35):
as the manager in two thousand andtwenty two, which ultimately ended in him
being related of his duties. Aspell in charge of Doncaster followed that unfortunately
ended the same way. I thinkyou all know who we're talking about.
Welcome to the show, Danny's Goodfield. Hello, Daniel, okay, hey,
yeah, good, thank you.How are you? Yeah, not

(06:58):
so bad, not so bad, sorry daddy before I pushed you off to
this lot tonight. What was yourjourney to professional football like in getting started
at has Filled up there? Yeah, it was an interesting one as a
young player because I never went throughan academy professional academy before I turned professional,
so I used to trial in allover the place, but it was

(07:21):
always the same messages for me.Not quick enough, not strong enough,
and ultimately not deemed good enough toget I don't believe that. Yeah,
But the best thing is that whenyou get a little bit older, you
start physically developing. So I endedup playing non league for Broadsworth Mine as
welfare and then a scout called jeffLey, we're working at Othersfield at the

(07:44):
time. He came invited me fora trial. I went up towards Field
and I was trialing fair must havebeen about two or three months, and
then eventually they offered me an eighteenmonth contract and yeah, the rest is
history, so to speak. Whatage with that day? I was first
year pro so I was told fora youth team, so I'd have been
eighteen at the time, I blay, So yeah, so what Hi Danny,

(08:11):
it's Georgia. Hey Judge, allright mate, I always love You're
told to you. You joined theLions in twenty nine. How did that
come about? Mate? How didthat move come about? Yeah? Well
i'd left. I'd left Huddersfield aftera nine year, nine year career there
nine years spell and went to Yovillfor a short period of time and I

(08:31):
had a really good couple of seasonsat Yovil Town and then did enough to
impress Millwall. And then when aclub like Millwall come I didn't have to
think twice. It were a fantasticmill for me and thoroughly enjoy my time
there. Danny. You say theclub like Millwall, what was as a
professional football then what what? What? Our bill will? Then our millll

(08:54):
seen as one of the bigger clubs, because that's the first time I think
I've ever had an ex player.Actually that funny enough. Well we were
playing League one at the time andmill Warren League one, so I think
as a League one club, Millwallwas a big club or is a big
club at League one level and justthe stadium, hearing about the fans and

(09:16):
how passionate they were, that wereenough for me to say, right,
this is a big club, thisis a next step in my career,
and this is where I want togo. And I've always want to be
challenged and it was the next stepfor me moving from Yova to Millwall.
Fair enough, Fair enough, HiDanny, it's Bethany here. Hi,
Bethany Hi. Yes, So youplayed in that unbelievable game at the Valley

(09:39):
in December two thousand and nine whichended four for scoring the equalizer in the
ninety second minute. What was itlike to play in that game? Yeah?
I was on the bench in thatgame, and I remember watching it
thinking it were just so end toend and lots of chances. It must
have been brilliant for the fans towatch. And yeah, just pitching to
get onto the pitt really in toat the equalizer and yeah, I feel

(10:01):
that emotion and the energy from thesupport and it was fantastic. Really.
I remember my celebration, it was. It was horrendous. Actually, I
remember the pitch being rock hard.It was icy, and I tried to
do a Kinsman dive and sort ofscraked all the front of my body.
So yeah, that went a verygood memory related to that game. Yeah,
I can actually tell your funny storiesto that game, Danny. I

(10:22):
was with my mate Barry and itwas it was it been snowing as well,
isn't it was really every Yeah, yeah we were. We got to
Lounder Bridge, so literally it waslike an episode of Plane, Trains and
Automobiles. So I got to dunderBridge, we had a couple there,
got on the tube. We wentto down to London Bridge to get the

(10:43):
tube over to East Quinage and thenwalk round got to done under the bridge
tube. They said no more changea game that way, obviously, they've
got too many middle fans going thatway. We then got a taxi to
East Quinage. Then we couldn't getany further with it from me good.
So they've got a bus and theyhad to walk literally which so many different
forms of transport to get there.Got there just as the game started and

(11:07):
obviously Morrow opened the scoring quite early, didn't they in that one? Yeah,
yeah, I remember that. Yeah, Hi Danny, it's mars It.
So the two thousand and nine twoten season ended in promotion via the
playoffs against Swindon at Wembley. Whatwas it like to be part of the
promotion winning side and playing at Wembley? Yeah, it were fantastic moment,

(11:30):
Probably one of the highlights of mycareer that that entire season and finishing it
off with a promotion. I tellI tell this short story all the time
about when I first signed for Millwalland I walked into the changing rooms at
the training ground and I had asentence that it was just full of winners,
had a real good feeling in termsof the people that were there,
the players, the staff, andI thought, this is I'm going to

(11:52):
be playing in a team where we'renot losing many football games. Here you
could just send it and feel itand to be able to play a big
part in that season a lot ofgames and get promotion, particularly after suffering
the defeat in the final in theprevious season against Scunthorpe. I think it
were if it were brilliant, Itwere great, great feeling and yeah,
memories created for everyone associated with theclub. And there were the standard characters

(12:16):
in there. Mate, there wasa few really, Neil Harris, Paul
Robinson, David David Ford, CHRISSAKEIAlan Don. I could probably name the
old changing room to be honest. And even though we don't speak often now,
you move on quickly in football.Whenever whenever we bump into each other,
there's always good conversations. I actuallybumped into Paul Robinson on a coaching

(12:37):
course sent George's Park and the firstthing I said to me is you've not
thanked me yet for setting you upfor the winner. And he turned around
and he thanked me because I putthe corner for his goal, which a
great moment. I still wonder wherehe was putting it when everybody side for
it angles actually putting that. Yeah, Robert, were just kicking it with't
he I don't think it made mefor the goal away? Yeah brilliant,

(13:05):
I think go on, Sorry,no, I'm just saying like that.
That experience at Wembley. I thinkthe fans actually won the game for us
because when we walked out and youcould just see masses of Navy blue in
comparison to the Redder swindling, itwere. It were no contest. So
yeah, great, great feeling.I try to think he went through and

(13:26):
well the bubble didn't even put itwide against Ford and Charlie Austen. Yeah,
that moment, but I actually thinkthat, don't You don't if if
Austin had scored that we had anotherwe had another level. We could have
gone up to win that game anyway, wouldn't we. Yeah, well we
were full of confidence. Look, anything can happen in football, but we
had such a good season and wehad a lot of belief within us.

(13:46):
Whatever happened in the game. KennyJacket and Joel Gallen instilled a lot of
confidence and belief in us to goand go and perform in any situation,
and we managed to get over theline in that last game. Danny,
it's George again. Let's bring youback to the present times. How do
you see the Lions getting on thisseason in the Championship And more importantly,

(14:07):
will you be watching a well,be watching the mill WALLN Leads on Sunday?
Yeah, I'll certainly be watching thatgame. Yeah, that's an interesting
one. But no, Look,it's early days yet. I think there's
only five games has been played. It's such a tough division, the Championship.
I've played in it and I've coachedin it as an assistant and a

(14:30):
head coach, and every game isvery difficult to win. Everyone's a very
even keel, some top top playersand top coaching stuff there. So the
details are going to be the thingsthat decide the games, I feel,
week in week out. So forany team, it's going to be really
difficult. But yeah, certainly lookingforward to the to the Leads game.
Hi, Danny, So, nowthat the transfer windows shut and international break

(14:54):
is completed, how do you seethe Lins new recruits bearing in the Championship
this season? Yeah? I thinkit always takes a bit of time to
really gell and develop those relationships onthe pitch. I think some developed more
naturally than others than others need moretime on the training ground, but I
think the squad at mill Walls strongand it'll certainly be competing and yeah,

(15:16):
fingers crossed they do well because Ialways like to support my old clubs.
Danny, you've had two spells atmanagement and Huddersfield and doncast stuff. Are
you looking to get back into it. Yeah, well it was short lived
really and sort of circumstances arose, which particularly the others Field one which I

(15:37):
found myself as the head coach fora short period of time. I certainly
enjoyed the experience. It was verychallenging, very demanding, but yeah,
certainly enjoyed the Rollercount coaster ride ofit. And at the moment just looking
just looking for that next opportunity, whether it is as an head coach,
whether it's an assistant to a team, or to go back into the PDP
phase as well working with under eighteens, under twenty ones, which I really

(16:00):
enjoyed. But my passion of mylife has been football, so I just
want to get back involved in somecapacity. Really excellent, I think,
just to keep the conversation going,So who do you see as the runners
and riders this season? Then inthe championship? Good question. I think

(16:21):
Norwich will be there in terms oflooking at their squad. Worked with a
few of their coaching staff as well, so I know them. I think
they'll be really, really competitive, the usual really West Brom although they've lost
a few players this season. Ithink they'll be They'll be up there fighting,
but it's probably I'm not a gamblingman, so I would like to

(16:41):
put my hat on it. Butyeah, like I said before, it's
going to be really competitive, butI'd expect Norwich City is certainly to be
up there fair enough, fair enoughand obviously not League. Then hey,
we'll see after, We'll see afterthe game on Sunday. Indeed, indeed,
it's been great to speak to you. But obviously we need a prediction

(17:04):
for that AFO mentioned game on Sunday. What do you reckon? I'm gonna
go for a high scoring three twoMillwall take that great Sunday afternoon, that
would be it was Yeah, butwhen two games at our place? Do

(17:25):
we really want leads scoring two goalsat our place? Yea take the three
points. Yeah, we're still playingfor Was he out injured at the moment,
I'm not sure. Yeah, No, he's struggled. I think of
late. I think he struggled theback end of the last season and the
start of this season, but he'scertainly a big miss. Yeah you good

(17:47):
to have him down there again.I unfortunately won't be there, but that's
for other reasons unfortunately. But itgreat to speak to you. We get
you on again soon YEA. Loveto you and your family mate and cool
now brilliant. Appreciate the chat.Speak to later you okay, Hi,
hey, we will take a breakthere and listen to the match day program.

(18:17):

p R O g R A MM E at p R O T O
N M A I L dot com. It's a great read. I'm your

(19:00):
host, Gary staffing with me.No one likes us talking team of George,
Bethany and Miles. Keep up thegreat work Pat of the team.
Let's hear from Ellis Barr. I'mso impressed with her progress and starting seeing
your school now keep us posting thewhat we're up to Ellis. Hello,
Ellis here and I'm glad to beback talking about Millwall. I know many

(19:21):
have watched my videos, so youwill all know that I don't wear explans
as much anymore. Thanks for yoursupport along the way. It is now
time to hear what all the millWill teams are up to and what is
next for Garrion, Rollts Lions comeon there will, thanks Ellis. As

(19:44):
always, we caught up with PaulLoading this week talking Middle Romans and mill
Pride. Hello is Paul Loading overat the Millwall Romans. Just with a
quick update for the week. Nothingmuch to report. On Sunday both teams
were on a bit of a break, so we did have a big training
game over at Saint Paul's in preparationfor the season and the Cup game which

(20:08):
is in a week. On Sunday, I did manage to catch a little
bit of the Lioness game. Unfortunateloss for them against quite a good Dartford
team. To be a valiant effortfrom them. It's just a shame they
couldn't pick up there or just theedge of points towards the end. Now
this Sunday we're kicking off at onepm at Saint Paul's the Romans team against

(20:30):
Bosco FC. We played them acouple of weeks ago and a friendly and
beat them and they're up for revenge. We wanted to get a really good
training game in ahead of that cupgame or a week on Sunday against Leicester
Wildcats and playing against Bosco, They'regoing to be up for it. It's
going to be a good physical game, get us in preparation and hopefully will
come off victorious again as one pmat Saint Paul's Sports Ground in Rotherhive this

(20:55):
week for the Millwall team, Ithink it's going to be a tough game
obviously against Leads Home on Sunday.Yeah, we wish them all well.
We've been nice to pick up afew more points. I'm going to say
a Millwall one nil. Thanks Paul. We wish them all the best in
the UK and Ireland g f NCup next weekend. Our Jeff Bolder report

(21:18):
from Maritime Radio for them in theLions game at home to Dartford Women at
the weekend. Also this is JeffBerner's reporting on a second consecutive odd goal
defeat for Millwall Lioness's in brutally hotconditions at salt Road. Rather hive a
much change, Millwall Lioness's side losttwo one to unbeaten Tabletop as Dartford Women

(21:44):
manager Keith Bonus had lost Hope Welshto injury and Grace Seeley had not yet
recovered from her knee injury sufficiently toplay then in ad listen to that traffic
problems in meant that regular defenders SophieChapman and Millie Connell were late reporting and

(22:07):
Bonus elected to make them substitute andto promote Tyrapool and m mel Hussein to
the starting lineup in the back four. A first half which was lacking in
goldmouth action, finished up nil niland we looked forward to a better match
in the second half, but itwas even hotter to play in and it

(22:32):
was Dartford that took the lead whenNicky Diet scored following a second corner in
succession. We then saw some opportunitiesfor Millwall to get back into the game,
but Emily Vaughn for Dartford made ittwo nil before then Milly Connell honors

(22:52):
the substitute and up for a freekick, headed home to make it two
one to Dartford and that provided afrantic finish with many minutes of stoppage time
being played due to injuries, waterbreaks and the rest of it. Unfortunately,
it ended into one defeat for theLionesses and they will be hoping to

(23:14):
do better next week and get backto winning ways when they played Dullage Hamlet
at Champion Hill and that will bea two o'clock kickoff. Thanks Jeff.
At least Keith Bonus did not losehope. Two new features this week in
our round up section. These areLions on International Tour and Lions Unknown.

(23:37):
Also, I'd like to thank MilesDaunson, our panelist tonight for all this
detail. So here we go.I'll start with the Lions on International Tour.
Idemery macau stepped off the substitute sBenster square dramatic stoppage time winner for
Republic of Ireland under twenty ones lastweek with the Euro twenty twenty five qualifier
against Turkey locked at two two,the striker swept in the ninety sixth minute

(24:00):
to spark wild celebrations in the EmeraldIsle in Macau. Was on the bench
for the fixture against San Marino, but came on in the sixty sixth minute
following the third goal elsewhere in thisbit and Scotland moved to the brink of
qualifications for Euro twenty twenty four bydefeating Cyprus three nil in Larnaka. The
striker was an unused sub for theTitan Army, who met England in a

(24:25):
prestige friendly on Tuesday night to celebratethe Scots one hundred and fifth anniversary.
He was on the bench for thatgame he didn't get on. It was
a break to forget for George Saville, however, as Northern Ireland suffered back
to back defeats against Lavinia and Kazakhstan, with Tom Bradshaw hoping to feature for
Wales in Latvia on Monday night afterbeing an unused substitute in their niel Neil
draw with stuff Korea Roman as theyenjoyed gain time for England under the nineteen

(24:51):
Meanwhile, as he was involved bothin the narrowed one Neil defeat at German
feat there against Germany and the fourtwo win over swit Land. Brook Norton
Coffee was named on the bench forthe England under twenty ones on Monday evening
and that concludes the International Lions onTour. Next up Lions on loan.

(25:12):
Abd Abdormlick made his Willston debut thisweekend. The under twenty one strike er
played sixteen minutes for his new clubas they defeated Ebb Street two one in
the Vanerama National League, before beingreplaced by Alapa, Alomena Chennicole and Bromley
meanwhilst continued their solid start to thecampaign by defeating Maidenhead four one in the

(25:34):
Kent Sunshine following a partnership with ByronWebster at the back, Sorry forming a
partnership of Webster at the back andCody had played the full nineteen minutes as
the raven Z's to a success Curtieof strikes from Michael Cheek, Lewis Dennis
and Sam Woods elsewhere. Then aBoo Tank stepped off the bench to play

(25:55):
the final five minutes of Wokings oneone draw with Sali holl wrote More's Joe
Wright was an unus substitute in Sulfur'stwo one home loss to Walsall and Alex
Mitchell. He enjoyed a weekend offas Lincoln City's game with Oxford was postponed
due to international call ups. Soupcoming fixtures abdor updoor. Malick's playing for
Wilston the Altringham on Saturday, sixteenthof September three o'clock kickoff. Chinnacoli is

(26:22):
playing Brumley versus Oldham Athletic also onthe sixteenth September at three o'clock. Now
a Borough Tank is playing for Workingagainst Hartlepool United Saturday, sixteenth September,
kickoff three pm. Joe Wright Salfordversus Knots County Friday the fifteenth of September
seven forty five kickoff, and lastbut not least, Alex Mitchell playing for

(26:45):
Lincoln City versus Carlisle Saturday, thesixteenth September, kickoff at three pm.
Who anyway, thanky, thank youanyway? Next up for the Lions are
Legs United. Well the Meal versusLee's Dynasty is having an upper episode this
Sunday, so head ted. There'sbeen forty meetings, with the Lions being

(27:07):
one ahead on eighteen wins with leadon seventeen. The last meeting was up
at Allen Road, which saw theLions will lose three two. However,
we do have a very good recordat home against leads. At the den
Leads are currently on six points, one less than the Lions on seven,
so both have had very indifferent startsto the season. What do we reckon,

(27:30):
George? I will start with you, well, this is always a
game and look forward to, isn'tit. You know they will bring plenty
of supporters. I think they believethere's still a huge club, and in
fact they are actually, so there'sno getting away from that. I think
this is going to be a reallytight game. Actually, I think they
will score. I think we willscore. I'm going to go to two

(27:52):
actually or a Desmond. Yeah,Bethy, Well, it's definitely going to
be an interesting atmosphere, isn't it. It's going to be nasty, it's
going to be spicy, and theplayers all know how much this rivalry means.
But I have to go with amill will win. I just have

(28:15):
to. I can never go witha mid or loss. I can't do
it. So I'm going to gowith two one. I think it's what
I'm going to go with and youngMiles. I'm going to Bethany. I
can't. We can't lose Leads athome and I'm going to go one Neil
mill Wall. Oh that'd be tight. I'm going to go and be really

(28:37):
optimistic. As I said, I'mnot going to be there on Saturday.
I'm going to be at a festivalin Leicester. Absolutely gutted when I bought
the tickets it was on Saturday, then it got changed to the Sunday and
beyond beyond gutted, if I'm toput it rightly. I even thought about
not even going to the concert, but my wife would have disowned me.

(28:59):
I think anyway, I'm going togo for a be a bit more optimistic.
I think when we're on form andwe are good at home, we
are good at home. I knowwe've had a bit of indifference lately,
but when we get going on dayslike days like Sunday, the crowd really
get behind them. I know there'sbeen some fun ones in the past,
but I think we're going to strollout three nail against the Leads on Saturday.

(29:22):
Just a note to act Leeds Unitedand Middle Players joining forces and a
rare show of unity as clubs makechanting pleads of fans. Leeds United and
Middle Players have come together two urdsto brought us to be respectful of each
other and the two clubs meeting thisweekend. We will take a break there
and listen to take a break thereand hear all about the amazing Lions Food

(29:44):
Hub. Hi, Harvey Brown here, I am proud of the Lions Food
Hub which is jointly owned by Kellyand Ellen Webster and they have been supporting
families within our community for over twoyears or mill match days. If you
would like to donate to them, they have a match day donation hard Buddy

Essie sixteen bar at Colblow Lane endof the ground. Would they accept any
food or money and toiletry donations ifyou can help. Any donations will be
received with thanks. I'm your hostGary starting with me either. No one

(30:29):
likes a talking team of George,Bethany and Miles. Kelly and the team
are always looking for donations, soif you want to help them with the
food Hub, it's positioned at theback of the Colblow Lane stand and will
be there as always against Leads onSat Sunday. Our second guest tonight A
supported Millman and Boy. He attendedfor US till senior school. He's grandfather

(30:51):
played Let Him Come at the Ritzwhere he was the rest of the pianist
and he has appeared on TikTok beingquestioned about the mullet haircut. But his
major pain is being beaten by BrianDowling on the pillar question on beat Boll.
Welcome to the show, Sam Gardner, while some introduction, Hello,

(31:11):
Hello Sam, guys. Hi Sam, So you've been supporting the Lions man
and boy. What was the firstgame you went to and how old were
you? Mate? The first gameI went to and she had the ticket
recently when I moved out was nineteenninety five. Obviously the mood doing against

(31:32):
Hullersfield and I believe there's a Tuesdaywas a week night and I found that
ticket actually recently. So that's quitefunny that you asked that, because I
might not have remembered, but Iwas four then four four and a half.
Yeah, that's what I was forsome time ago. Now wait you
get to your forties, mates, you've seemed some rubbish by then. Not

(31:55):
too far away. George Dearham,it's thirty years at the new at what
we were what we still call isthe New Den. What is your most
memorable game that you have seen there? Wow, I was thinking about this
the other day. I mean thefirst one that springs to mind just because

(32:16):
of atmosphere. I always remember aFriday night against Wolves one mill Steve Clurridge
penalty. Later on. It mightnot have been the most important game because
we've had some of, you know, many big wins over the years,
but that atmosphere has always stood outto me. I'm not sure following remembers
that night Steve Clarridge penalty. There'sbeen some big ones. I mean the
playoffs against Bradford that was some eveningbig you know, with the game this

(32:43):
weekend with Leeds, there's been somequality ones against there. We've had a
pretty good record against them. Yeah. I can't believe it's thirty years.
It's it's an old new ground, isn't it now so, but it's still
it's still retains those that atmosphere, that unique atmosphere on now nice Sam.
Do you think the players that havebeen brought into the team have enhanced our
side at all? Yeah? Yeah, I think it can't do our still

(33:06):
us any you can only do usfavor, should I say? I mean,
we'd seem to have from like SIto defensive midfields to midfield and slightly
more attack. And there's so manyplayers in a similar position that I think
that the competition can only be goodif someone's not taken off one of the
new signings. And you've got goodcompetition with Savile and Mitchell, who are
pretty solid last season. And Ithink when you've got that kind of competition,

(33:28):
whoever gets in the team, they'regoing to deserve it that week in
training, last week's performance. Yeah, you make a good point. I
was laughing for us. Sam,what sides in what appears to be the
most strong championship season ever, whatsides posed the greatest to our progress?
Do you think? Do you knowwhat? I mean? It's so hard

(33:52):
to answer in the Championship for thebest of times, but I think just
those clubs, you know, thekind of yo yo clubs. I've two
or three seasons up and down, you know, the West Broms. The
knowledge is you know they're always goingto be there or thereabouts. I mean,
it's a toughie. I fancy there'llbe a couple of surprises this year.

(34:12):
But then again in a championship.I guess what is a surprise,
do you know what I mean?I'm hoping that we've had a pretty pretty
even start, haven't we. Imean, two wins, two defeats and
a joy in the league. Ithink we need if we can get a
couple of results here and just startto push forward, because I can feel
the negativity at the moment already aftera couple of results haven't gone our way.
So yeah, fair enough, Sothanks for joining us. I know

(34:35):
we've had a few funning games therewe yet popping in and out, but
apologize, that's all right. Leadson Sunday mate prediction for US. I
think we're gonna win. I thinkwe'd win three one. I can see
a scoring early. I think that'simportant when we've got a crowd like we're
going to have our We've actually beenour home recording a pack den over last

(34:57):
season was actually not like usually appso hopefully we can kind of turn that
around score early and put it tobed in a second half. Indeed,
I don't know if Lee's got thewhole end or just the top this weekend.
That's a good question. I mean, I can't imagine we'd give them
the bottle even we have on afew occasions, but we'll give another teams.
But sure. Yeah, it doesseem to make for a better atmosphere

(35:21):
when the top and bottom's done datelately anyway. Yeah, I liked it
when there's been mile fans in thetop tier as well. Yeah, that's
interesting. Yeah, exactly do thatfor this time. Indeed, thanks Sam,
it's been a great tear from youand we wish you all the best
for the future. And many thanksfor coming on now, Tom Man,
thanks a lot of guys. We'lltake a break there and listen to our

(35:46):
panelist to Bethany woman talking clean Feed. Bethany Monkslough here clean Feed by Ted
Robinson. We're talking about an onlinerecording platform. Okay, our Ted Robinson
sponsors are online clean feed recording platform. What were you thinking of? What

(36:08):
it sounded like a parfumed on mintense. Really behave just go online and see
who else uses clean Feed. It'sa great bit of kit at a great
price. I'm your host, Garystaff with me either. No one likes
the tea of talking team of GeorgeBethany Mazlo, I'll say right, Apologies

(36:30):
for the one before that, Bethanyand Miles. Miles in while we were
listening to Clean Feed reminded me thatwe've not mentioned Rotherham, who are our
opponents on Wednesday next week, andwe'll be played before we have our next
show, So let's have a coupleof predictions and a bit of talk around

(36:51):
that. George Obous to you first, mate, Yes, I'm looking forward
to this. I always like theevening kickoffs, so I think this is
Wednesday night. Roberm is not thebiggest and most attractive of the championship teams,
but that doesn't mean they're not capableof doing very well against us.
But I do feel confident on thisoccasion and I'm hoping very much so that

(37:15):
we can beat beat them by maybetwo or three goals. Happy with that,
Bethanie over to you, Yeah,it should be a pretty good game.
I was looking at their stats alittle while ago and we've got a
fifty nine percent win probability, soI'm going to run with that and I'm
going to say three nil and Miles, do you agree with them? I

(37:43):
do agree with them, and wehaven't actually lost to them since twenty eighteen,
so hopefully we can carry that on. I'm going to say, Tuni,
I was actually gonna say that thesegames to me are always like a
little banana skin and they're always theone you don't really want to be playing
on a Wednesday night, and theyjust come down sometimes Nika one, they'll
win. But if Miles is right, I'm happy to keep that progression going

(38:08):
and I'll take a two nil homewin which will make us if we big
leads on Sunday four games, I'mbeaten going into the weekend games. We
all look forward to the next game. We were discussing obviously leads and rather
than coming up. But in themeantime, here are a few matters of
interests for our mill fans. MillwallCommunity Trust have received recognition from Deputy Mayor

(38:34):

necessary for employment in the sports industry. Section. Well done the Millwall Community

our one hour guided tour. TheDen is that is one of and is
one of the most iconic football stadiumsin England. And it's probably a bit

(39:44):
biased, but Idols said world makeit perfect place to learn all about the
colorable history and heritage of Middle FootballClub. The guided tour starts in the
Executive Lounge before stopping off at variousdifferent locations within the stadium, such as
the Director's Box, the Area andthe Paul Juggins Media sweek be quick though,
because tickets do go fast. Thetour is rounded off by the players

by taking the players walk from thedressing room, through the tunnel and out
to the dugouts. The experience cannotend without making sure you grab a picture
next to Gary Rowitz Si. Goodnight. We enjoyed our last show last
week at Maritime Radio, and thegood news is the will will be alive
