Speaker 1 (00:01):
Find insight, guidance, and answers. Tune into spirit with radio medium,
Laura Lee. Tune into spirit for Mr. Dennis. Welcome. Good afternoon.
How are you doing? I'm doing good, Dennis. The first
impressions I'm receiving is I have two females. I've got
(00:24):
one that's right behind you. And then I have one
who's over on your maternal side. So I'm guessing that's
your mom. The one behind you, though, was a partner,
a friend, a lover, a roommate. But anyway, if both
these ladies were here, they would be taking care of
you because they were like, very maternal over you.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
And they would be very outspoken and would tell you
their opinions and their thoughts and push you to do things. Absolutely. Yep.
Did one of the two of them or yourself have
leg issues that they had to prop up the feet
or prop up the leg because of the pain? That's me.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I got diabetes and neuropathy and I lost my right
leg below the knee.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Oh, my gosh. To neuropathy or you lost the leg?
Through neuropathy. And it's gotten worse since they've crossed over? Yeah,
basically the phantom pain. Right. And you've gone through physical
therapy before? Yeah, sure have. And they encourage you to
take care of yourself, Mr. Dennis. But they would say
(01:31):
it more demanding than I would. And I'm being kind,
but they would try to get you to get up
and get out sometimes and move and get out of
the house. Do you understand? I understand 100%. Now, Whitman,
you could still be doing the physical therapy, but you're not.
And it's almost as if you're afraid to go back
to the doctor to learn more. Is that correct? That's true.
(01:53):
That's true. Yeah. So they say that you're sitting in
that chair too much. And... Watching TV too much. And,
I mean, even you're sleeping in it overnight, if not
throughout the day, right? Yes, ma'am. And I understand the
pain is great, but guess what? That's the pain of
the loss in your life. Yeah, I understand. Yeah, the
(02:18):
grief has stopped you from moving forward. And they say
you're still here for a reason, Dennis. Yeah, for my dad.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
He's still here.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, there's more life to be living in you and
you need to get up and out as often as possible.
Maybe flex those exercises back again. That would be their
encouragement in order for you to embrace your life again
because you're just afraid. I don't have no desire to.
I know it comes with a territory of grief. You
(02:47):
might need some additional support, even with a doctor to
talk to or something of that sort. But anyway, they
confirmed that there's a little pet or animal or dog
on top of your lap. A lot of times. Bull
Shih Tzu. What's your Shih Tzu's name?
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Tasha.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Aw, sweet Tasha. Which was also, I think, your loved
one's dearest dog as well, right?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, I got that February for Valentine's Day.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Yeah, she loves you still and wants you to, for
her sake, because you're not dead yet. You're still here.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, I know what both of them are saying. I
just don't have any desire to do anything. You look
at the pictures and that's all I want to do
is just look at them and then go see my dad,
you know.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Well, at least you're getting up and going to see
your dad. My gosh. They encourage you to go see
a doctor, too. And even getting up to a physical therapist, again,
is just at least a friend.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
I can't wait. You don't need those time, you know
what I'm saying?
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Dennis, really, you're already in the state that you are.
But I want to tell you, you're very much alive.
And I see you. I hear you. I feel you
like a real person. And I understand that grief is
really deep. I'm sorry for your loss, but they aren't gone.
They're right there with you.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Oh, I know that because Sasha is always looking, acting strange.
I know that somebody's here.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Right.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
She is.
Speaker 1 (04:16):

Speaker 3 (04:47):
So I was in the center lane and Just turned
right in front of us. Decided I needed to get
a hold of an attorney. Never really heard anything from
this attorney for two years. Decided I couldn't use him
no more. I contacted Konoski Bresni. He did more in
two weeks than that other attorney did in three years.
(05:08):
I could definitely not have done this on my own
if it wasn't for Todd.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Sorry.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
He changed my life. Why do you need a personal
injury lawyer? Hi, I'm Todd Bresni of Konoski Bresni. When
you are harmed, insurance companies should compensate you fully and fairly.
But they're in the business of caring about their own
bottom lines and not about your losses. At Konoski Bresni,
we get your worth. For close to 50 years, we've
been your hometown attorneys. So call Konoski Bresni at 888-the-letter-U,
(05:38):
count in the number 2, or see me on the
web at BresniLaw.com. It won't cost you a thing to
see if we can help.
