All right, moving right alone. The title for this episode
is Okay. Intentional Living tend to Tips to live with purpose,
focus and daily growth. Intentional living intentional living is something

(04:11):
we all need to think about because we should never
We should never be dragged through life without being intentional.
We should be intentional. We should always make sure that
we are focused to be intentional. And what does intentional mean?

(04:35):
Intentional means doing something on purpose with clear thought, planning,
and a pacific goal and goal in mind. Excuse me.
It refers to actions that are deliberate and meaningful, not
accidental or random. Being random and spontaneous. There's nothing wrong

(05:03):
with that, but sometimes if we plan more, we can
have more of a target outcome when we plan more,
and being intentional is all a part of planning. I

(05:27):
think so anyway, because when you have a plan to
complete something and if you are intentional about getting it done,
that means you are focused on the outcome for it
to be done right, so once again, intentional means doing

(05:51):
something on purpose with clear thought, planning, and a pacific
goal in mind. And that specific goal is the outcome.
You want a positive outcome when you are trying to
achieve something, When you are trying to complete a specific task,

(06:13):
you want a certain type of outcome. In order to
have that outcome, you have to make sure you are
intentional about completing every step. You have to be intentional
about the target. You have to be intentional about why

(06:38):
you are doing what you are doing. So that is
why it's important to live an intentional life. Living an
intentional life is a life of good effort. You know,

(06:58):
we all have to put effortffort into having a good day.
We all have to put good effort into maintaining our relationships.
We all have to put good effort into doing the
work on ourselves. We all have to put good effort

(07:20):
into maintaining good habits, no matter what it is. So
intentional living is for all of us. We should never
live life just existing, being dragged through situations and circumstances,

(07:42):
not understanding the power of being intentional. Yeah, we should.
We should always be mindful of that. Today I was
having a conversation with one of my students, and he
asked me, He said, have you always been this way

(08:07):
or was there a time in your life and you
wasn't inten intentional? Was it a time in your life
when you were not intentional? I said, yes, it was
a time in my life. I wasn't intentional. There was
a time I was dragged by my emotions. Every time

(08:30):
something happened, I was dragged by my emotions. Yeah, yeah,
I lived like that and I did not understand and
in that moment that I had the power to make
that mess stop. In a minute, I realized that years

(08:51):
ago I just started doing the work. So I was
talking to what am I students about this topic living intentional,
and our conversation was so good. And so that is
why I decided to talk about this today because we

(09:15):
all should consider how powerful it is to be intentional.
It's very powerful when we just live life, existing and
just doing anything any kind of way. That's not the
way we are supposed to live. No, Living intentional also

(09:39):
means making good choices deli that align with your values,
your goals, and the vision you have for your future. Yes,
when we are intentional, we will always get better results.

(10:01):
I was thinking this morning as I was preparing to
start my day, I said to myself, I want to
reflect something that aligns with more discipline physically, And so
I asked myself the question, what will that require. Well,

(10:23):
that will require me to work out more, That will
require me to stop eating bread more because I love bread.
I love good bakery bread. So to have a goal,

(10:48):
a fitness goal, and to be intentional about it, I
have to make better choices. Yes, being intentional can set
the course for many good things to happen when we

(11:09):
are intentional, because when you are intentional, you are also
projecting the outcome according to your expectation. Yes, when you
are intentional. Now, if you have no plan and you

(11:30):
have no expectation, and like I said, if you are
just being dragged through life, just existing and you're just
going alone to get along, that means you are not
setting the course for what you want to experience. We
all get to make choices and decisions every single day

(11:52):
of our lives. We get to decide what we're going
to put in our body. We get to decide who
and what type of company we want to have. And
because you get to decide that, you can be intentional
about it. You can be intentional about practicing self development.

(12:18):
You can be intentional about personal growth. You can be
intentional about how you communicate. If you want to be
a better communicator, you can be intentional about it. And
so just to do the work on ourselves, no matter

(12:44):
what area it is in, be intentional because intentional living
is about living a life on purpose, going not just
going through the motions. Being intentional and living a life

(13:08):
of being intentional is about living on purpose, aligning our
values and our visions and our goals and our habits
with what our expected outcome is. That's what we need
to do. It's not anything difficult. It's a simple decision

(13:34):
that we make as we see each day, it's not difficult.
Some people make excuses not to do better because they
simply just don't want to do better. Am I judging
that person? No, I'm not judging that person. That's their decision,

(13:59):
that's their choice. That's on them. But if you really
care about your life, and if you really care about
your family members and your friends, and you care about
your professional life, you want you will want to do
the work, and you should do the work. You should

(14:19):
desire something better for yourself, because when you desire something
better for yourself, you will be you will be an
asset to someone else. So living a life being intentional,

(14:42):
it's good and it's a blessing because you are living
on purpose. So ten tips for intentional living. Number one,
start your day with a clear purpose so that you
will know what you are doing and why and what
type of outcome you want to experience. Because when you

(15:04):
start your day with a plan and a clear purpose,
you will set a good agenda for yourself to get
it done, whatever it is, and at the end of
the day, you will have a sense of accomplishment. So
start your day with a clear purpose. Number two, Set

(15:28):
meaningful personal and professional goals. Personal and professional goals could
be something as simple as cleaning out your closet a
personal goal. Yes, cleaning out that closet, that closet that
you have not cleaned out in years, that is filled,

(15:54):
that closet that is filled with clutter. That's a personal goal,
and yes it is meaning Well why is it meaningful?
Because once you clear that clutter from that closet, you
will feel better. That's a personal goal. A professional goal,
a professional goal that's meaningful. It could. It could be

(16:15):
something as simple as being more disciplined to complete your
task with excellence. It could be something as simple as that.
That's right. So set meaningful personal and professional goals. It

(16:38):
doesn't have to be anything difficult or something big. It
could be something that's simple, that's right. Number three, be
mindful of how you spend your time because if you
don't manage your time, then you will manage not to

(17:01):
get anything done. Again, I'm going to say that again.
If you don't manage your time, you will manage not
to get anything done. So be mindful of how you
spend your time. Your time should reflect something that you

(17:23):
either accomplished or something you did for someone else that
was beneficial your time. Again, it should represent something that
was beneficial, aedifying, or something you did for someone else.
When you are living intentionally, that's what you do. So

(17:48):
be mindful of how you spend your time. Number four,
Limit distractions that pull you away from your priorities. Why
because when you are a distracted that that means you
are wasting your time. That means you are doing something
and you are somewhere you are not supposed to be,

(18:10):
and it has no purpose at all. So limit distractions
that pull you away from your priorities. Your priority should
always be at the top of your agenda for the
day because that is a part of the clear purpose
you should have. That's right, So limit distractions that pull

(18:34):
you away from your priorities. Number five, Practice daily gratitude
and reflect on the things that help you to be
better at your highest level. Practice dealy gratitude and reflect

(18:55):
on the things that help you to be better and
at your highest level. Highest level of what highest level
of executing goals, your highest level of whatever area you're
working in. When it comes to discipline, when you meditate

(19:16):
on something you have to do and you carry out
the plans you have thought about again, you will have
a sense of accomplishment. So practice dearI gratitude and reflect
on what makes you better so that you can go

(19:36):
to a higher level according to whatever it is you're
working on. Number six. Develop consistent habits that support growth.
It could be a simple habit that you are practicing
in a relationship. When you are consistent, that means that

(19:57):
you are building growth, and when you are consistent, it
also sustains the growth when you are consistent, So develop
consistent habits good habits, discipline, habits that support growth. Number

(20:19):
seven sororinding your self with positive and motivated people, Because
when you soround yourself with positive and motivated people, they
will give you the incentive to keep going. They will
give you the incentive. They will give you what you
need to keep prospering in the direction you need to go.

(20:42):
If you are around people that are not positive and motivating,
question yourself, why are you around them? There's no good intention,
there is nothing good Ask yourself, why why are you
keeping company with them? Just because they're family members, That
does not mean you need to be around them. It

(21:05):
could be a family member that's negative. You can still
love them and love one them from a distance, Yes
you can. You don't have to be at their house
five days a week. You don't have to. I have
family members, unfortunately some of them they are not that positive,

(21:26):
but I still love them. Hey, how you doing? Okay?
You all right? Yeah, I'm good, all right, all right,
talk to you later. That's it. And I pray for them,
of course that they will change. But I'm not trying
to make anybody change. So if you are around people
that are not motivating or positive, question that we all

(21:49):
know somebody that's not completely positive or motivating. We all
know somebody in our family, at work, we all know
somebody like that. And just because they may not be
like you, or just because they may not be as
positive or motivating, doesn't mean that they are a bad person.

(22:10):
They just need a little bit more love and they
just need a little bit more patience. So you can
love on them, but you don't have to spend a
whole lot of time with them. Try to influence that
person to be more positive as well. Oh yes, Number eight,

(22:31):
invest in learning and self development. Investing in learning and
self development is a part of loving yourself to be
renewed over and over and over again. And it's important

(22:52):
because as long as you are on the earth, you
should always consider learning something new because the more you
learn something new about you, the more you will develop
into something better. Because as long as we are here

(23:14):
on the earth, we have to keep learning. Right. Doesn't
matter how old you are. Some people get a certain
age and they just sit on the couch and watch TV.
That's not living. No, if you are seventy years old,
we should not be sitting around sitting around watching TV

(23:34):
all day. No, we should be learning something. We should
be developing something more about ourselves because we are all
very valuable, and the more you understand that, the better
off you will be an asset to someone else. That's right.
Number nine. Communicate clearly and honestly with others when you

(24:00):
are being intentional, because when you do that, you will
be able to clear yourself and be open with others,
and also be more transparent. Because you are being intentional,
when you communicate clearly and honestly with others, you also

(24:21):
can help others to feel better about themselves. Because you
are being more in tune to what is necessary in
that moment. You will be able to connect to that
person more in that moment when you're being honest and

(24:41):
open with others. Number ten last one, take action daily
toward your vision. Whatever it is you are working on
in your life, no matter what it is, keep taking
steps daily toward your vision with prayer, with action by

(25:03):
faith every single day, keep building and working toward the goal.
Don't go by what you see, go by what you know,
because faith takes patience and you have to pay yourself
every single day to make sure that you know in

(25:28):
your heart it's going to happen. You just have to
keep doing the work. Whatever it is you're working on,
it's going to happen. You just have to keep doing
the work. So take action daily toward your vision, because
intentional living is all about purpose, living on purpose and

(25:56):
not just simply going through the motion. Yes, indeed, we
all have to do the work on ourselves every single day,
according to what we think, according to what we do,
and according to what we believe is good for ourselves,

(26:23):
so that we can display and project the good to
someone else. This life is such a mystery when it
comes to spiritual things, when it comes to all the
things that happen around us every single day. This life

(26:43):
is such a mystery. And if we continue to do
what is good, then we all have done something that
is meaningful. It's not a fantasy to want to be

(27:06):
the best person you can be, you know, it's not
a fantasy. It's real because you can be the best
person you can be. When you do the work on yourself,
you will become a total asset to somebody else. Just
think about that for a second. When you do the

(27:29):
work on yourself, you will become a better father, a
better friend, a better daughter, a better mother because you
are valuable. You are very valuable, and the good that
you possess when you give that to others, the power

(27:51):
of that is to build someone else up, to make
them better. We don't have to reflect the evil of
this term world. We don't have to reflect that. We
can reflect something that is better. So don't forget living

(28:12):
intentional means making choices that align with goals, values, and
the vision you have for your life, so that you
can be intentional with your time, your habits, your relationships,
your mindset, your actions that you do, and just about
everything in your life. You don't have to live a

(28:35):
life just going through the motion, being dragged by anything
and everything. It is important to have good intentions for
personal growth. It's important to have good intentions to simply

(28:55):
be the best person you can be. So on that note,

In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
