Speaker 1 (00:00):
Blessings and peace to you. This is s be Favorite
Thinking podcast and my name is sp Favor. How are
you doing today? It is Wednesday, May twenty in twenty
twenty six, another wonderful day and another day to be thankful.
And as I always say, if you focus on what
is good, then you can project something good to happen.

(00:21):
So focus on more of the positive things so that
you can be very clear with yourself and don't be distracted.
But just simply be clear with yourself. If you are
out there traveling about, make sure you are paying attention
and make sure you are not on your cell phone
too much in the public because a lot of people

(00:42):
sometimes are walking around looking down with their phones. And yes,
we do have to answer our phones of course in
the public, but and pay attention to our phone sometimes.
But we don't have to be distracted too much using
our phones in the public. We should be paying attention
more often, all right, So make sure you pray, make

(01:03):
sure you are not distracted today. If you would like
to give to the podcast, you can give at kasha
ad dollars on sp favor or you can give a
vemo at sb favor. And if you are not comfortable
using the applications to give. Please send me a direct
message on Facebook or Instagram or TikTok and I will

(01:24):
give you instructions so that you can give to the podcast.
Or you can send me an email at sb favorite
at yahoo dot com and I will give you information
so that you can support and give to the podcast. Okay, well,
today I just want to give you an inspirational quote.

(01:44):
And my inspirational quote is authenticy isn't about being perfect.
It's about being real, honest, and true to who you are.
I am going to repeat that inspirational quote again. Authenticy
isn't about being perfect. It's about being real, honest, and

(02:08):
true to who you are. Simple quote, simple truth. And
that is a real situation for many people. Why because
many people try to be perfect, and we don't have
to try to be perfect. I don't necessarily know all

(02:29):
the details of why some people try to be perfect.
There are many reasons why. But we don't have to
try to be perfect. We should embrace our flaws and
be honest with ourselves so that when you embrace your flaws,
you will know what to work on. So embrace your

(02:51):
flaws to be authentic, to be true, and to just
be honest with yourself, because if you are not being
honest with yourself, that means you are in denial and
that's not a good place to be in Mentally, it's
a dishonest place if you are in denial. Because authenticity

(03:15):
isn't about being perfect, It's about being real, honest, and
true to who you really are. Being honest about who
you really are, and being authentic has everything to do
with self awareness because self awareness is the foundation of authenticity.
When you are aware of your strengths, your weaknesses, your flaws,

(03:40):
embrace it all because that's who you are. Of course,
over time, we are all growing and changing and evolving,
So just because you may have a flaw today does
not mean you will have that same fall next year
or next month. Of course, if you are doing the
work right, so accept your imperfections because being real means

(04:04):
embracing your flaws. Speak your truth. Honesty builds confidence and trust.
What do I mean by that? When you build honesty
and trust with others, it simply means you are embracing
yourself so that you can build honesty and trust with others.

(04:25):
Because if you are being phony and fake and superficial,
that's not honesty because being phony is a lie. Being
fake is a lie that means something is not that
that is not real, right, So be real with yourself.
Speak the truth, embrace your flaws, set healthy boundaries when

(04:53):
it comes to influences that make you want to be
something that you're not, because you have to know who
you are. You have to know who you are without
comparing yourself to others, because comparison stills authenticy. So follow

(05:13):
your values. Let your principles guide your choices. Practice self compassion,
Be kind to yourself as you grow. Always, as always say,
surround yourself with supported people. Because authenticy thrives in safe environments.
Be consistent, show up as the same person everywhere. Always

(05:36):
celebrate your own uniqueness because when you are genuinely unique,
you are showing up to be something that somebody else isn't.
And so that is why it is so important to
be authentic, because authenticy isn't about being perfect. It's about

(06:00):
being real, honest, and true to who you really are.
And that's not a difficult thing to do because when
you wake up in the morning and you look at
yourself in the mirror, when you love yourself genuinely in
that moment, you should embrace everything about yourself, good, bad,

(06:23):
or indifferent. Embrace who you are, and when you recognize
your flaws, it only means you're just identifying with what
you need to work on. We all have to do
the work. We all have to recognize what we need
to change because none of us are perfect. We don't
live in a perfect world. We live in a world

(06:45):
that is filled with all kind of craziness. But you
can show up better every day. You can show up
to be better than you were yesterday. You don't have
to be the same person doing the same thing that
other people are doing. Because some people sometimes they follow
the crowd, they follow the bad influences because if they

(07:06):
do something different, they think they're going to be rejected. Well,
guess what I told myself, Even if I am rejected,
I'm still going to show up being myself because I
realize some people gonna love you, and then some people
just not gonna like you, but no reason, they just
not gonna like you. And that's okay too, because you
got to live, and you gotta grow, and you got

(07:26):
to just be the best person you can be. And
in the process of being the best person, you can
be love yourself. So I'm telling you this so that
you can be encouraged, so that you can have a
focus that's more healthy, so that you can be more vibrant,
and so that you can understand that you have a power,

(07:50):
a power to share with others, others that are open
to receive it, because you can't force someone to like
you and force someone to love you either, but you
can no matter what's going on, you can be the
best person that you can be. So that is my

(08:10):
inspirational quote for today. I hope you have a good
rest of the week. I will be back on again
to talk about different topics. I hope that you focus
on what's good today, and I also hope that you
keep your mind centered in the direction it needs to be.

(08:33):
Don't let your mind go astray by thinking about things
you do not need to think about. We have to
practice what I call mindful hygiene, because when you practice
mindful hygiene, that means you keep your mind centered on

(08:55):
the things that make you better, the things that make
you clean on it inside clean meaning good right, the
things that represent healing, the things that represent goodness, the
things that represents you prospering mentally, andwardly because you don't
want to sit around with a bunch of negative thoughts

(09:19):
and negative intentions, no peace and just all messed up.
You don't want that, so make sure you focus on
what makes you better. Also, lastly, I want to remind
you if you would like to take English lessons, public
speaking lessons, if you are preparing for an interview or presentation,

(09:40):
you can take a lesson with me. Yes, you can.
You can take a lesson with me. Public speaking presentations,
interview preparation, you can take a lesson with me. All
you have to do is go to ICs biz one

(10:01):
once again. I see S B I, Z ZS and
Zebra number one dot com. I see s biz one
dot com. Go to the website, make an appointment and
you can take an appointment with me. Make an appointment
with me. Excuse me to complete a lesson? All right, See,

(10:25):
I just tripped over my words. And guess what, I'm
a human, I'm not perfect. So anyway, I hope that
you have a very very good rest of the week.
And as I stated, I will be back on to
talk about some more topics. But I just want you

(10:46):
to be encouraged today. I want you to be focused today.
I pray that you are mindful of your strengths and
your abilities and be mindful that God is with you. Yeah,
God is with you. I have to say that. I
have to say that because a lot of times people

(11:07):
tend to forget that God is real. And I know
everybody has different beliefs. I don't get into the different
lanes of a belief. I just believe in God and
I know somebody out there needs him today. I know
many of you already know him, but then there's someone
else out there today that needs him. And so just

(11:30):
know that God is with you. Okay, embrace your flaws,
accept all of you, love yourself. And when I say
accept all of you, I'm talking about just embracing who
you are, to keep growing, to keep learning, and just
stay in the position of just being the best you.

(11:55):
That's it, all right. So if you need to reach me,
you can reach me an sp favorite at y'allo dot
com email. You can also find me on Facebook. I
was about to say Twitter, it's not Twitter anymore, it's
X but I'm not even on X anymore. You can
find me on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram. Yes, you can find

(12:16):

You can also find me on iHeartRadio, Audible, Spotify, Apple
Podcasts if you like to follow me on those networks,
because I know some people like to listen to podcasts
on different types of networks. Well, well I'm all over

how you want to support this podcast, because I want
