(01:31):

All right. So now I would like to move on
to the title of this episode. Okay, the title of

(03:42):
this episode is Deli Habits that Transform your life. Simple
Routines for lasting success. Deli Habits that transform your life,
Simple routines for lasting success. M Success doesn't happen overnight.

(04:06):
It happens daily. The small steps that we take in
the habits, excuse me, the habits that we practice consistently
will shape our mindset, our confidence, and our future. You
see what happens when I talk too fast. It's not good.

(04:30):
That's what I always tell my students. Never speak too fast,
but master the art of self control, because when you speak,
it's your power. So anyway, that's something else for another time.
But as I was stating, small habits you practice consistently
will shape your mindset and your confidence in your future.

(04:50):
Whether it's a personal goal, or professional goal, or just
simply your emotional wellbeing. Your daily habits are foundational for
lasting transformation. And so that's what I want to talk
about today, why it is important to practice good daily habits.

(05:20):
We could be motivated to do something, and motivation can
sometimes fade, but discipline is something that is routinely practiced
and it comes from good habits, and that's why it's
important to practice good habits. Research consistently shows that repeated

(05:43):
actions create neutral pathways that make success automatic. When you
build positive deli habits, you reduce stress, increase focused, and
you also can create a momentum towards your goals. So
when you practice good daily habits, you are literally practicing

(06:09):
a way to maintain good productivity, emotional resilience, a good mindset,
and of course long term success. Now, when you don't
practice good habits, that's like, well not like it is.
It is building inconsistencies and you do not want that.

(06:34):
You don't want to do that. You don't want to
do that at all. So start your day. The first
hour of your day always try to start it with
a good intention. Started with a good intention by being focused.
Started with a good intention by being prayerful with you

(06:58):
and your goals, with potative affirmations. Gratitude started with good intentions,
so that that first hour will be filled with purpose.
So that that first hour is filled with purpose, because

(07:18):
starting your day with clarity improves focus, emotional stability, and
decision making. So start your day with purpose. Of course,
you always want to practice gratitude. I always talk about

(07:40):
practicing gratitude because gratitude shifts your focus from what's missing
to what's meaningful. We all have to practice gratitude because
it improves mental health, emotional balance, and it provides life
satisfaction because you're focused on solutions and not problems. You're

(08:04):
focused on what you have and what you don't have.
You can write down three simple things every day you
are grateful for, and over time your mindset will naturally
shift toward positivity, resilience, and growth. As you practice gratitude,
it will open you up to have more insight on

(08:29):
how powerful gratitude can really be. Set daly intentions and
goals based upon what can build your success, not vague dreams,
but write down your top three priorities each day to

(08:50):
increase productivity and reduce. To reduce what will overwhelm you,
try to have a more structured day, managing your time
and doing things with order so that you can get

(09:12):
more done. And along the way, as you set your
day to be more intentional, ask yourself these questions what
matters most today? What actions are will bring me closer
to my goal? How can I serve others today? And

(09:35):
ask yourself the question does a certain habit give you
more discipline and more strength or clarity? That will determine
if you should practice certain types of habits. If it's
a bad habit, you should already know you shouldn't be
practicing bad habits. Anything that doesn't add to you, anything
that doesn't give you an increase of something that is positive,

(09:57):
you shouldn't be practicing. M Feed your mind with growth content, yes,
because what you consume mentally will shape how you think, speak,
and act. Reading, listening to podcasts, or watching educational content
will daily strengthen your mindset in your personal development. Example,

(10:21):
ten minutes of reading, ten minutes of inspirational podcasts like
this podcast, educational videos, scripture, or reflection, all of those
are growth inputs that will lead to growth outputs. It's
in It is vitally important to have direction for your

(10:46):
day because if you have intentional direction for your day,
then you will properly manage your day. The next one,
make sure you have physical acts. Exercise, move your body
every day because physical movement will boost your energy, confidence, focus,

(11:09):
and mental health. You don't always need to be in
the gym. You can do anything at home, walking, stretching, dancing,
any type of homeworkout that's sufficient as long as as
long as you move, because your body fuels your mind
and when you exercise, and that alone will just give

(11:34):
you more motivation to do more and simply to be
more productive. As I always say, constantly speak positively to yourself.
Your internal dialogue shapes your identity. Replace negative self talk
with affirmations that reinforce growth, confidence and purpose. For an example,

(11:56):
I am capable of growing daily, I am disciplined and
then focused, I am becoming my best self. Affirmations like
that will help you to be more inspired, more focused,
and it will also generate more of a positive attitude
because what you say internally can become real externally. So

(12:21):
make sure you speak positively. Make sure you speak positively
to yourself. Okay, reflect on everything that will give you
a greater awareness of what is important to you in

(12:41):
your life. Reflect on everything that will help you to
simply make better choices and reflect on the benefits from
those choices. Just take five minutes to do that. During
the evening, ask yourself questions like what went well today?

(13:04):
What can I improve tomorrow? What did I learn today?
Because reflection turns experience into wisdom, it adds to your
personal growth. You will know what to do and you
will know what not to do the next one. Build
strong relationships, Delhi, because transformation happens in community. Strong relationships

(13:29):
improve mental health, emotional resilience, and life satisfaction. It does
because what you connect to feeds you. When you connect
to something that is positive, you will be more positive.
If you connect to something that's more negative, then you
will be more negative. A lot of these pointers that

(13:52):
I talk about is repetitive, and I say it constantly,
sometimes in each episode, because I want you to remember.
I want you to remember how important these pointers are.
So some of them I have mentioned in prior episodes,
and I mentioned I mentioned these continually because because they

(14:17):
are so important. One of them that I mentioned often
is gratitude. I always talk about gratitude because gratitude is very,
very powerful. I always talk about speaking positively over yourself
and all. And I always talk about building strong relationships
because those three things are foundational to you being fed

(14:41):
everything you need to be fed to be a better youth.
H So make sure, as I stated, make sure you
remember building strong relationships are important because it helps you
to improve your emotional vigilias, your mental health, and life satisfaction.

(15:01):
Relationships are important because, as I just stated, what you
connect yourself to, that's what you can become throughout your day.
Send encouraging texts to people that you love, practice active listening,
express appreciation, and make sure you show kindness intentionally because

(15:22):
when you do that, guess what you are releasing good energy.
Always practice discipline over comfort because when you practice discipline
over comfort, you will grow to be more consistent and
you will build more discipline with the momentum over time,

(15:47):
because every time you show up even when you're uncomfortable,
and every time you do something you don't feel like doing,
you are adding more discipline to your deli habits. For example,
when I get up in the morning, I don't feel
like working out. I don't want to sometimes, but I

(16:10):
do it because I know the benefits that are going
to come from it, So I do it. That's right.
I get out of bed, I go to the bathroom,
and I make sure I work out. I do thirty
minutes a day, or maybe an hour a day, but
mostly thirty minutes. You know, at the minimum in that
thirty minutes, I do enough to get some movement, get

(16:35):
some cardios, a little bit of weightlifting. Sometimes I do
more than thirty minutes. And when I do more than
thirty minutes, I do a little bit of everything. But
the point of it all is that I do it
even when I don't feel like it. I do it,
and I do it because I think about the benefits
that come from it. And every time I do it
when I don't feel like it, I know that I'm

(16:57):
building more discipline. So as you build good daily habits,
remember to always end your day with peace, put down
your devices, pray, meditate, and end your day with a centeredness.

(17:23):
And what do I mean by that? Being focused on
a good positive thought of knowing you have accomplished a
lot today. You can do that end of the day
with ending your day with peace, improve your sleep, emotional regulation,

(17:46):
and it can produce good productivity the next day. So
after you've done all kinds of good things all day
long and you have practice good habits all day in
your day with peace by powering down, putting down your

(18:08):
devices and reflecting, praying, meditation, and doing something that can
just center you to be focused and calm at the
end of your day. The compound effect of deli habits

(18:28):
and practicing good habits every day is the goal of
building habits to transform because small habits repeated delhi create
extraordinary results. Again, confidence grows, focus, sharpess, and discipline strengthens.

(18:57):
Over time, you become the person your goal required because
all of us that are working on ourselves we want
to be something different and to be something better and different.
It starts with how you think. Secondly what you do,
and as you practice good habits, you are in the

(19:23):
process of changing. It is always important to know progress
is better than perfection because you don't need perfection, you
need progress. And when you choose one habit a day
to practice a good habit and you commit to it,

(19:47):
you will have a change mindset and you will grow
in confidence. It's a beautiful thing to practice a good
habit every single day and watch how everything around you
starts to change. Some people complain about others getting on

(20:12):
their nerve and bothering them, but I always tell people
change starts with you. When you change, other people can
change around you because your morning routines can be filled
with success and you can build consistency as you practice

(20:35):
good habits. It's been proven that mindsets shift when we
practice good habits. So invest in you again and do
something different and do something new to practice good daily habits.

(20:57):
You can't go wrong by doing that. Write five habits down.
Write five habits down on a piece of paper, and
ask yourself which habit should you practice more to get
a better result. So prioritize one and then look at

(21:19):
the second one, and look at the third one. Put
them all in order according to your priority, and ask
yourself the question, which one should you practice more to
get a better result? And whatever one you choose to
be the priority, that's the one you should practice every

(21:39):
single day. Now, you should practice all five, but choose
one that you should practice more, and you will get
a better result. Because, as I stated, When you practice
good habits every single day, repeat it, you will start

(22:02):
to grow in discipline. You will see personal development. You
will experience mental transformation as you do that. So do it.
Start today, Set a goal and do something that you

(22:23):
have never done before. It could be something as simple
as not eating sugar for a week. It could be
something as simple as, let's see, not eating any fast
food because some of y'all eat too much fast food.

(22:44):
It could be something as simple as not drinking any wine. Okay,
but what I'm saying is this, Think about something you
can do that will give you the results you want
to experience. It could be your eating habits. It could
be the time you get up in the morning if
you need to get up earlier, some type of discipline.

(23:07):
Think about some type of discipline you want to establish,
and whatever you decided to do, just practice the habit
every single day as much as you can, and you
will experience a transformation. It is beautiful to transform. Just

(23:37):
like a caterpillar goes into the cocoon excuse me, and
becomes a butterfly. A caterpillar goes into a cocoon and
becomes a butterfly. The caterpillar had to do something to

(23:57):
become something it just didn't have. The caterpillar had to
go through the process of something to become something more beautiful.
So think about something you can do to be more resilient,

(24:19):
more discipline, more confident, to build a momentum for your goals.
Think about something you can do for a change, to
reduce to excuse me, to reduce stress, to regulate your emotions,
to improve your peace, to improve your relationships. Think about

(24:46):
something you can do. We all have to change something.
I told myself, I'm going to simply just eat better
because I'm getting older, so I have to have discipline.
When I see something in the grocery store I want

(25:08):
to buy and I know I shouldn't eat it, I
just walk right by it. I just walk right by
instead of standing there thinking about whether or not I
should buy buy something I shouldn't be eating eating. I
just walk right by, and I tell myself, I'm not
supposed to eat that today. When it's time for me

(25:29):
to eat what I like to eat, yes, I'm going
to eat what I like to eat. But I have
to have discipline. And if I practice discipline in the least,
then I can practice discipline with the most so, think
about the goal you want to accomplish, whatever it is,

(25:52):
think about it, and as you practice good habits, you
will developed discipline. So thank you so much for tuning
