Speaker 1 (00:01):
Blessings and peace to you. This is as be Favorite
Thinking Podcasts and my name is as Be Favorite. How
are you doing today? It is Wednesday, May thirteen, twenty
twenty six, another wonderful day and another day to be thankful.
(00:24):
That's right. We have to be thankful and we have
to focus on what is good because when you focus
on what is good, then you can project something good
to happen when you focus on what is good, because
if you are focused on the negative things, nothing good
can come from that. That's right, nothing good can come
(00:46):
from focusing on the negative things. Yes, we do have
to embrace reality and we have to acknowledge what is true,
but you don't have to focus on it. So focus
on what is good today. If you are traveling any airport, exercising,
wherever you are today at work, make sure you don't
(01:10):
forget to pray. Make sure you are not distracted by
being on your cell phone too much in the public
because many people are distracted and we should not be distracted.
We should be paying attention to our environments wherever we are.
I always remind you of these things because I care.
(01:32):
So make sure you are not distracted today. Make sure
you are paying attention wherever you are, make sure you
are focused, and of course make sure you pray. If

if you just would like to enhance how you speak,
you can take a lesson. Yes you can. You can
take a lesson, and you can make an appointment at

(03:01):
make an appointment at ICs b i Z number one
dot com. And when you make an appointment, just follow
the instructions and you will be inspired. If you take
a lesson, you will be inspired to think more confidently
about yourself. You will be inspired to do well for
(03:24):
your interview or your presentation. And you will improve how
you speak English or learn how to speak English. So
make an appointment at ICs B I Z that's number
one dot com. I cs B I Z one, that's
(03:45):
number one dot com. Okay, well, the title for this
episode is stay on course to achieve your short term
goals and long term goals. The inspirational quote that aligns
(04:05):
with that is short term goals build momentum, but long
term goals build your future. Stay focused, stay disciplined, and
trust the process even when progress feels slow. That's right,
(04:27):
trust the process, even when progress feels slow. Thinking about
that inspirational quote reminds me of climbing a mountain. When
you are at a mountain and you stand and you
(04:49):
look up, it's very high. If you were at a
mountain and you looked up, it would be high, right,
So think about it like that. You're standing at a
mountain and you're looking up and it's very very high. Okay,
(05:10):
So in order to get to the top of the mountain,
you would have to climb, and so in order to
start the course of action, you would first have to
prepare your mindset to climb, and you would have to
(05:37):
prepare also a strategy. And so what I'm saying is this,
all things take time. But when you stay on course
according to what you are building or whatever it is
you are are pursuing to achieve, it will happen. But
(06:01):
sometimes it may not happen really fast. And I say
sometimes because it depends on what your goal is. There
are certain goals that can be achieved really quickly, and
there are certain goals that simply take time. And if
you have a goal, and you know that building or
(06:26):
creating or establishing the goal, and if you know that
it takes time, tell yourself every day, I am climbing.
I am climbing to achieve my goal. That's what you
should tell yourself every day. I am climbing to achieve
(06:49):
my goal. And the reason why I use the word
climbing is because to reach the peak of success, to
reach to peak of whatever your goal is, sometimes it's
a process and sometimes, as I stated, it takes longer.
(07:10):
And so you are climbing, you are on course with
what you are working on. And don't ever think that
just because you don't see a certain level of results,
don't ever think that something's not happening, because it is.
(07:32):
Every time you add effort to whatever it is you're
trying to achieve, something is building, something is processing to
be established. Because when you add effort to what you're
doing and you take action, something is happening. So don't
(07:53):
ever think that just because you don't see a great
result really fast, don't ever think that nothing is happened
happening because success does not happen overnight. Achieving meaningful goals
requires focused discipline and consistency with patience, of course, and
(08:16):
so you have to stay on course mentally along with
the actions that you are taking to manifest your goal,
doing the work on whatever it is you are working on.
(08:36):
Take joy in it. And what do I mean by
taking joy in it? Enjoy putting the effort into what
you are doing. Do it with the right attitude, because
if you do it with the right attitude, you will
develop a pace to stay on course. And developing that
(09:01):
pace will be a process of learning so that you
will gain knowledge and understanding, and over that time and
during that process, when you complete the goal, you will
be able to empower someone else because you have gone
(09:25):
through the process. Anything that we go through in life
comes to serve us for our empowerment. And when you
utilize what you go through, no matter how small how
big it is, when you utilize what you go through,
(09:47):
you will be empowered because of what you have learned
as you have gone through whatever you've gone through. So
stay on course with your short term goals and long
term goals. We have to fill ourselves up every single
(10:12):
day with inspirational content, by what we read, by what
we we look at on TV, or or by what
we listen to. We have to fill ourselves up. The
(10:34):
more we fill ourselves up, the more we will be empowered.
Because you can't function empty, so you have to fill
yourself up. You have to fill yourself up to nourish
(10:57):
your mind, to nourish your spirit, to nourish your heart.
So stand on course. Every single day has everything to
do with, of course, your focus and being intentional about
what you take in. Because think about it like this.
(11:22):
You have to eat food every day in order to
have nourishment for your body, because if you don't eat
anything at all over time, eventually you will get sick.
So think about it like that. You have to nourish
your mind and your spirit and your heart the same way. Yes,
(11:44):
you have to nourish your heart, your mind, and your
spirit the same way. With positive and inspirational content. It
could be anything. Anything that is positive, anything that builds
you up, will help you stay on course because if
(12:07):
you sit around and you listen to a lot of
negative things, a lot of negative things on TV, a
lot of negative things on social media, a lot of
negative things you're just reading about and just indulging in
negative content, then it will start to affect how you think,
(12:27):
and you don't want that. So you have to stay
on course so that you can have a focus for
your short term goals and your long term goals. And
when you stay on course, you will build momentum. You will,
(12:49):
that's a guarantee. Some goals require just doing a little
bit at a time, and then some goals require doing
a lot at a time. But most importantly, you can
do something every day toward your goal. It only takes
an hour a day or thirty minutes a day to
(13:12):
work out, or if you have a wellness goal, it
takes an hour thirty minutes a day just to achieve
a wellness goal doing physical activities lifting weights, running, exercising
thirty minutes a day, hour a day, that's a wellness goal.
And of course eating the right way as well. So
(13:38):
staying on course has everything to do with projecting the
result as well, because as you are putting in the
action according to what you want to experience, you also
have to keep a mental focus as well, because that
(14:01):
mental focus is going to help you to pace yourself.
It's going to help you to maintain the vision you
have because the vision you have is the image you
have in your mind according to your experience that you
are projecting. So keep your vision, keep your focus, and
(14:28):
that will help you to maintain you a strong mindset
over time for your goal. Don't allow yourself to be
tempted to engage in negative content because when you have
(14:54):
a focus, you got to keep those doors secured with
what mean, the doors of your mind, the doors of
your ears. You gotta keep those places secured, secured and
protected from what is negative because you are doing the work.
(15:18):
You know, sometimes when you talk about being positive, some
people think it's some kind of fantasy some people are living.
When I say, focus on what is good and when
I say be more positive, I'm simply talking about maintenancing
the mindset. We have to embrace reality when things happen.
(15:40):
We have to call things for what they are. Yes,
we do. But at the same time that we see
things for what they are and we acknowledge them. We
also have to remember that there's a bright side to everything,
and there is light if we look to it. So
staying on the course of achieving your goals and staying
(16:04):
on course to stay focused on your goals is important
and all you have to do is take one day
at a time. Take one day at a time without overthinking,
but simply just doing a little bit each day no
(16:27):
matter what their goal is. It is also important to
write down your goals because when you write down your goals,
you will have a clear vision about what you want
to achieve. So write down your goals. Also, when you
(16:54):
write down your goals, you can also break your goals
into smaller steps. You don't have to create large activities
to do you know for your goal, but create smaller
steps in your plan for your goals. Create a deli
(17:19):
routine as well, because consistent habits help you make progress
toward your goals. Every single day. Stay disciplined even when
you don't have motivation, because the key factor is to
(17:40):
stay focused. Sometimes you won't be motivated, sometimes you won't
feel like taking action. Sometimes you probably won't feel like
even thinking about what you have to do or taking
the next step. But guess what, Just do it anyway,
(18:03):
Do it anyway, even when you don't feel like it,
even when you feel like it's not good, something's not good,
or the day is not good or whatever. If you
feel like that, just keep going anyway. And the reason
why I say that is because every day is different.
Every day is different, and we all feel like that.
(18:25):
Sometimes we feel like, oh today, Oh I just don't
feel like it today. But guess what, do it anyway,
because every day is a good day. Even when it
doesn't feel like it is still a good day. Track
your progress, track your progress regularly, and review your progress
(18:46):
so that you can stay accountable because you want to
stay on course. When you make yourself accountable, you will
be on course. You will be because if you are
tracking your goals, and if you are creating a deli routine,
(19:08):
and if you are writing your goals down, you will
stay on course. But if you're one of those people
that don't like to write your goals down. Okay, you're
one of those mental organizers, you can do that too.
But the point of what I'm saying is stay on
course so that you will know what you need to
(19:31):
do to stay focused. Avoid distractions, because when you are
trying to achieve a goal, unfortunately people places and things
all of a sudden try to jump and tries to
jump in away. And what do I mean by that?
(19:54):
I'm talking about time is management doing things you're not
supposed to be doing. You're supposed to be focused on
your goal. And when you're supposed to be supposed to
be putting time into your goal, somebody will come and
tell you or ask you to do something else. So
avoid distractions. And if you have a stepback or challenge,
(20:16):
or if you make a mistake along the way, just
stay on track. If you fall short, if you don't
do something you work supposed to do, just stay on track.
That's all you have to do and it will work out.
(20:38):
But most importantly, stay on track. Make sure you also
maintain good positive conversations with people that are working on
goals as well. You don't necessarily have to share all
(21:00):
your ideas about your goal, but you can be encouraged
to share something with them according to just being encouraged
to achieve a goal. And if they are talking about
something that's positive, you can be encouraged by what they
are saying as well. So just keep your conversations positive.
(21:23):
Don't engage in conversations filled with self doubt and discouragement
and unnecessary criticism. Constantly, make sure, constantly, make sure you
celebrate the small ones because those small ones will encourage
(21:50):
you to keep going and that's part of your momentum.
And don't forget keep your long term vision in your mind,
because when you keep your long term vision in your mind,
you will keep climbing and you will keep putting in
(22:11):
the effort and the time to achieve your goals because
you are staying on track. And that's what this episode
is all about, staying on course to achieve your short
(22:33):
term goals and long term goals. And the inspirational quote
is again I'm going to repeat it again. Short term
goals build momentum, but long term goals build your future.
Stay focused, stay disciplined, and trust the process even when
(22:55):
progress feels slow. And as I mentioned at the start
of this episode, I mentioned that that slow process or
progress feels like climbing a mountain. If you're at a
(23:16):
mountain and you look up, you see how far you
have to go. But the point of it all is
if you start climbing over time, you will reach the top.
And that's all you have to do. Just keep going,
stay focused, making this your mind every day. Make sure
(23:39):
you pray, make sure you do the things that are
necessary every day to align yourself with what you want
to experience in your life. Because when you do all
of that, you will reach your goal. You will be
successful as you are successful them because you have already
(24:02):
achieved many goals in your life, and as you pursue
other goals, just keep in mind as you do the work,
it will happen. Give faith to everything you want to experience.
(24:24):
Expand what you want to experience by projecting the positive. Always,
thank you so much for listening and tuning in too.
