238: Pt. 2 The Portal of Fire-Tested Faith | Elizabeth Gomes

If you’ve ever felt like your spiritual walk and your business strategy are living in separate zip codes, this episode is your invitation to bring them home. In Part 2 of my conversation with Elizabeth Gomes, we go deep into what it means to build a business that’s not just profitable, but spiritually aligned and fire-tested.

Elizabeth doesn’t just talk about hearing God’s voice, she lives it. And in this episode, she shares how to discern between your own thoughts, the Spirit, and divine downloads—even when they sound different than last time. If you’ve been second-guessing your spiritual instincts, feeling stuck in fear, or wondering whether your words carry weight in the spirit realm, this one’s for you.

We tackle the real stuff: burnout, boundaries, business decisions, and the sacredness of friendship with Jesus. It’s raw, rich, and refreshingly practical. Whether you’re a seasoned spiritual entrepreneur or just starting to tune in, this episode will help you hear more clearly, walk more boldly, and build with heaven’s blueprint.

  • Faith is a transportation device in the spirit realm. Not just a concept—faith is a tangible force that activates spiritual realities. (30:00)
  • The foundation of “God is good” changes everything. Without this belief, even the most gifted people can live in fear and unrest. Elizabeth shares a powerful testimony of encountering the angel of Goodness. (34:50)
  • When in doubt, spend time with Jesus. Whether it’s business, health, or emotional chaos—He’s the answer. Even if all you can say is “Here am I,” He’ll meet you there. (39:50)

Speaker 1 (00:00):
They could be infiltrated. There could be infiltration. We want
to protect it. And I think one of the things
that we struggle with I'm going to say we is
that we want to know if our words matter in
the spirit. We want to know if you say matter
in the spirit. I think that that's a struggle because
because you can't see it, you think it doesn't make
it doesn't make sense. But you see it matters because

(00:21):
by the word, everything's created by the sound coupled with
intentionality is not just scatterbrain does it Everything we do,
every choice we make, it is a threshold crossing in
the spirit.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Welcome to the Spirit Centered Business podcast. Well we blend
the spiritual with the practical for supernatural results. Now here's
your host, Berlin Nuby.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Okay, welcome back to Spirit Centered Business. I'm here with
part two with Elizabeth comes a few misspart ones, Oh
my gosh, you guys, you have to get it. We
were talking about foundation and making sure your foundation is
strong and coming back to basics, which is not the milk.
It's the foundation. So definitely go back and get it

(01:12):
if you missed it. But we're going to continue the
conversation because Elizabeth gets on rules and I'm like, I
just want to learn from her. I'm taking notes, and
she said somethings. She said some things about the being
on fire. She said some things about being a friend
of Jesus and not taking that too far in our irreverence.
And I'm like, oh girl, I'm going to give you

(01:34):
the floor because you got some you were gone. I'm
gonna say, keep going, girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I just want to say of one thing you talked
about your business, firus and understanding that we go to
the friend and fire, because absolutely true for our people
who are naturally entrepreneurs. I think for our family we
are like that. I'm like that, we always sort of
own a business as a business. My sons are our stelling, cryptocurrent,
see mining, things like that, and we just do that,

(02:04):
real estate, so many things. So of course we have
been successful, and we've been not successful. Of course we've
lost businesses and lost money and then started again and
so on. So it's a wonderful thing to do, right,
so every one of us. So it's not something that
I really really believe that that scripture, and that scripture,

(02:24):
I'm so glad you mentioned that scripture. He gave us
a part to get well. I actually told him, I said,
you know you did say you give us the part
to get well? What does really mean? So when you
see a scriptures start to jump out, people say, oh,
it's jump out at me. Okay, I'll use that phrase.
But when it started to speak with you, it's an invitation.

(02:46):
It's an invitation to say, Okay, what does it really mean?
And take the time, as kings and priests, to dive
in to see what it really means, go deep with it,
walk with him the living word himself, and see what
it really means. Because I really believe that Femou said,
but not everybody should be business people. Let's address that.
Where would be the doctors and nurses and there would

(03:06):
be the certain Yes, that's absolutely true. But it's what's
on your scroll. It's what's on your scroll. And if
you're true to your scroll, if you're you're walking on alignment.
That is very necessary. That is why the relationship, the
foundation of the relationship is so key, right right? So
should I go ahead? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:27):
No, keep going your you're I mean, yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I want to talk about the whole thing about friendship.
And you know you said taking it too far. So
I just want to clear that up before it's misunderstood. Jesus,
as we were saying, before he makes jokes, we know
that I experience that you've experienced that Jesus is the
person like another person. One of our the fathers of
this new move our call and he talked about going
to the beach with Jesus and Jesus doing like that,

(03:51):
and he's doing like that and they're tumbling in the waters.
That's good. That's that's he does that. I'm not addressing that.
I'm talking about things like trying to use you, just
like using him as a as a gas station. Give
me this, give me that. It's a disrespect because if
we are friends, I want to honor our friendship. I
know we use the word boundaries, but sometimes we misuse

(04:14):
even the word boundaries. What does boundary mean? Boundary could
be affected or influenced by culture. For a certain culture,
like in the Caribbean or African, the African countries or
so on, they might not understand what the boundary the
word boundary means in the West, for example, in saying

(04:34):
the Caribbean where I'm from, right, well, sort of the
carib in South America, was really just only in you speaking.
So yeah, so what will happen some they don't have
to ask me to come to my house. They don't
have to telephone me to come to my house. They
would just say I'm here, who is that ten? You
know whatever, And we're not offended because you're accustomed to that, right. Nobody.

(04:56):
Nobody has to ask you. Nobody say they come into
your house. They will say, go to the store, what
do you cook today? That's accepted in here. We can't
do that here in North America. You have to call.
So you have some of the word boundaries, the boundary.
It's for different societies. You can see exactly what boundary
means for you. The reason I'm saying is because sometimes

(05:17):
when you have a friend, they said, you don't understand
my boundary, don't call me after this, okay. So that
is why relationship is so important. What goes for us?
Somebody might say, Jesus doesn't make jokes with me, Okay,
Well that's you and him. That's your business. You and
him have a talk about it. If you wanted to
make jokes with you, that's fine. Let me tell her

(05:39):
about the story. I can't remember the name of the
book her name is Annie or Anna something. It's about
about being taken by the lion. Ah. It's a small,
beautiful book. She always she has a friend, and this
friend has such a close relationship with Jesus. According to her,
that this friend, she would have all these encounters or visions,

(06:01):
that's the word. She reduce them visions, right, And she said,
what happened to me? Am I not a friend with you?
How come she's getting all these visions. I'm not getting anything.
I'm just going to church doing my thing, and I'm
a good little Christian. So one day she and her husband,
they are elderly people. They went on a vacation and
as they were coming back, she had this sharp pain

(06:23):
in her stomach. And the only hospital that was nearby
is a hospital named adne aDNA. Only after the fact
that she realized what he was doing. Now she got
a pain. So personally, I say, rebuild that pain in
Jesus name. Yes, we can do that. You see, everything
is so complex, we kind of just give an overall

(06:46):
blanket answer for everything. This is about the depth of
the relationship, so intimate. And she was hospitalized and they
found out she had something at her appandic was getting
ruptured whatever, and she was hospitalized. That hospitalization. From that
hospitalization and the surgery or the immediate search again, it

(07:06):
came a book, a book. When she was coming out
of the surgery, I wish I actually remember the name.
That the lion took her. She was like all over
the world he took her in these visions and encounters.
So when she was coming out of the anesthetic now
and she looked to the wall, the wall seemed.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
To be moving.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Oh wow, this is a strong anesthetic. And then from
then she started getting encountered to encounter with the lion
of the tribe of Judah. It changed her life from that.
So you see some things you go like, just just
talk to him, because I don't know. People might say,
how could she that's an attack. It's not an attack

(07:45):
from the devil, just just leading to your your relationship
with him as a friend. And she had that. That
was magnificent. We haven't heard about a friend writing a book,
but she wrote a book, a beautiful, powerful book. I
can't remember the name. Somebody in my farsaid, I know
what you're talking about. My name is Anna or Annie,
it's you know. I'm saying, so the friendship what I

(08:08):
have learned what he said to me, friendship with him
is sacred. Second meaning who holy? I can say Jesus,
I can say, hey, how are you doing today? It's
not like that. It's not that kind. But when you
walk with him, you will understand, and you will know,
You will know what it means to be holy. And

(08:28):
let it be a place to understand what kind of
friendship you're talking about. He said, I don't call you servants.
I called you friends. What does that mean? Study his
relationship with his disciples and see what it means, because
there is a lot to it. He's fire also, he's shinned.
So what does it mean to become fire? What does

(08:50):
it mean to have eyes that burns like fire? Because
when we look at him, we become like him, he said,
we are changing to that same image. There's so much,
but there is so much like we cannot That's why
I use in the first session, how many years you
may walk with him, But there's so much. It's like

(09:11):
you feel you're constantly evolving. You're evolving and evolving and changing.
And what I didn't know that scripture was there all
the time, and how it speaks to me so that
I could become as he is, a word, a living word,
because we are words. Also we are sound, we are light,
we frequency, we are we are a sound box. When

(09:35):
if you walk into a room, I'm not just seeing
the physical form which you're clothing and you're here, you
are walking with a realm. It's a realm. Just walk
into the room, and that's where the honor comes in
you member. Scripture said, he said, what is the greatest commandment?
He said, here Israel, the shima, the larger God is one.

(09:56):
Then instead love the larger God. And he says, fourth,
art with strength, sould, mind, and heart. I think all
your strength, all yourself, with all your heart. And then
he said love your neighbor as yourself. That bothered me
for years. And they're like, well, is it being narcissistic?
This is a simple question. What do you mean love myself?

(10:19):
Like in Trinidad, people said, you love yourself? Hey, right,
you love yourself? I was saying, isn't being narcissistic. But
he had to show me and teach me what that means. No,
it doesn't mean you're being narcissistic. It's about honor, it's
about honoring who you are. That's where some of that
boundary may come in. It's honoring him, it's honoring who

(10:40):
has made you to be. And now people make off
on a tangent and use that for something else that
shouldn't be. You know what I mean? Who made you
to be as a woman, as a man, as a male,
and as a female. Who made you to be in Christ,
in Him, in His image? In What does that look like?

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Yeah? Wow, that's so good, Elizabeth. Yeah, my gosh. So
this is the audience are probably already know this, but
it occurs to me that potentially someone doesn't know the
difference between hearing Holy Spirit, Jesus or Father or an

(11:29):
angel or themselves. So do you want to talk a
little bit about that, because we've been talking really about
having that relationship with Jesus, but their voices do sound different.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Okay, so let me address that. I usually, for myself,
I haven't really made I haven't thought about the distinctions.
And I'll tell you why. When I became born from
above so many years ago, I would say for sure

(12:08):
I encountered Jesus, and for years is Jesus understanding Jesus?
And I understood when I say, understanding Jesus studying the scripture,
knowing that he's talking to me, and I just knew
that I couldn't. I couldn't say, oh, this is the
Holy Spirit, this is the Father. There was no differentiation.
I didn't think of that. I didn't have a reason too.

(12:32):
And then because I encountered him physically, face to face
and all these things, so that that was it for
me for years now, after many years, I think I
was in my forties now, early forties. I think the
reason why I blocked any revelation of him as father
because he said I and my Father are one in

(12:53):
the fullness of God it well and in bodily all
these things, and there's all these things of where it's
the Trinity, where it's all of these things. I don't
get into that whole scenario. It to me, it's not necessary, right,
God is God, Yahweh is Yahweh, Father, son and Spirit.
That's what the mother said, Father, son and Spirit three
in one. So the story the story is, that's it right.

(13:16):
So then a fe years ago I was standing in
the night prayer. Now we know that night watch is different,
but back then we call it night watch and just
praying standing in the presence of the Lord for six hours,
is praying in towns, praying and tongues and is massive.
It was massive. I'm telling you. He was doing so much,
just speaking in tongues, just speaking in tongues. I mean,

(13:38):
we don't even know. I don't have language to see
what was happening. But what I know this one night
I fell to the ground in excruciating pain or agony.
Let me see agony. And on this side I saw
the face of the Father. How do I know, I
don't know. I just know this is the Father. Now
people might argue and say, well, Jesson, yeah, I know,

(14:00):
but I know this is a father. But I will
speak to my father. So I'm not arguing with that.
That's written. It is written right. So I saw the
face of the Father, just the face of the Father.
It was huge, and I was like small in the
presence of the face of the Father. And this is
what he was saying to me. I felt the agony
of the Father. I absolutely felt it. I was folded

(14:23):
up in a fetal position on the ground and the
pain was so much I was just grown. It was
a deep groaning and he was weeping. And immediately the
thought came to me, God is weeping. He is God,
why is he crying? And then the thought came to me,
Jesus wept. The thought right the scripture. Jesus wept. So

(14:45):
scriptures in a life, okay. And he is a revealing
of the Father. He came to show who the Father is.
So all right. So the next thing he said to
me three times, the blood of my son is not
a common thing. The Father said, the blood of my
my son is not a common thing. The blood of
my son is not a common thing. Wow. Now I

(15:05):
had to walk through a few years understanding what the
blood is. I mean, sometimes we just say it inside
the blood, the blood, the blood. We don't understand the
voice of the blood, the purity, the holiness of a
blood that was shed. I'm soaked in the ground, soak
this earth. It didn't just blood. He shed his blood everywhere.

(15:27):
It was blood soaking right down to the cross, dumb
to the earth, right through to the earth. And that
blood has a voice. That blood has a sound, it speaks,
and it's a sacred and holy. And that encounter really
affected my life in a powerful manner. Right. So that
is one I'm saying when we I'm sorry. When we

(15:49):
talk about friendship, is I want to talk about the
friendship or the father? You talk about different? I can't really.
I don't really say this is the Father seeking to me.
I don't initiate it. I don't initiate it. When I
hear a voice, I will know it's a father or
I never I wouldn't say the Holy Spirit. Like if
I'm praying in tongues, if I'm praying in towns, well,

(16:10):
then I could say I've never made a big thing
out of it. That's what I want to say. It's
never like an issue. So if I'm praying in tongues,
I could say, the Holy Spirit said to me, because
I am getting a revelation as I'm speaking in tongues.
Speaking in tongues, you're having all this understanding because you're seeing.
You could see what you're praying sometimes or hear what

(16:32):
you're praying, or understanding what you're praying right in English
or in pictures, I don't know, maybe English, I don't know.
You just know right. So we could say that's the
Holy Spirit, but I would not. I don't sit there
and say this is the Father speaking to me. This
is the Son speaking to me, this is the Holy
Spirit speaking to me, because it's never been a thing

(16:53):
that I have focused on. I just have an encounter it.
Say oh, this is the Father. I have an encounter
this is the Son or this is the Spirit's that's
how it is for me. But I don't know if
that answers your question. But people might say, how do
you know? And it's Jesus? I say, if we try to.
There is something about striving and trying to understand something.

(17:14):
It gives a kind of attention that makes you not know.
I would still live in him, not trying to fight
to say this is the Father, this is the Son,
this is the Spirit, this is my voice. Usually when
it's your voice, it what I can say. It's not
always wrong. But remember our voice, or our inner voice,

(17:36):
our thoughts can be filtered through so many things. That
is why the foundation of the scripture and knowing the truth,
he said, I am the truth. It is so key
to understanding that so key because if you know him
and the truth gets you know, you know the voice
of the Father also you will know. Oh this sounds different,

(18:00):
sounds like it's not a Jesus. He said, all authority
has been given to him, So go like, okay, the
father's father. No I and my father are one, asked,
Philip said, so show us the father is, said Philip,
I've been so long with you, yet you don't know me.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Right.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
If you've seen me, you've seen the father. So this
is the thing that is why it is difficult to
make these markers, because it makes people fight to know
if the father, if it's this, if it's that right.
So Fank, Well, I.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Don't necessarily think that that well, I mean some people will.
There's always exceptions. But I guess the context that I
was thinking about it in is, you know, we're always
helping I mean, I'm I'm a business coach, right, so
we I help people to hear the voice of the

(18:49):
Lord for decisions in business, or for direction, or to
help them read the scroll for the business or for
the project that they're working on. And in them thrusting
in to hear the voice of the Lord, sometimes it
sounds different and they get a little bit wonky, they

(19:11):
get a little bit hesitant if it sounds different than
last time, and so then we have to discern well,
different how because it could have just been you know,
Jesus being more brotherly in the one voice, or it
could have been more like Holy Spirit just kind of

(19:33):
giving you this knowing or this little aunction of oh,
I think I need to, you know, do this, so
that sounds kind of more like you. So we almost
have to distill just to make sure and check in
with Jesus, get you know, confirmation with Jesus, and make
sure that where they heard correctly, you know, or we're

(19:56):
hearing correctly. There's always checks and balances because we don't
want to just here's something what we think is a
download from heaven and run with it we go. There's
always testing the spirits, having discernment because anybody and everybody
wants to talk to you, especially about if they if
they can get you off track.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Right.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
That's where I was going with the context of that.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Okay, But with the Spirit what I have found, if
we want to if we want to go zoom in
and that with the Spirit I found, if we want
to say about the Holy Spirit, uh information or revelation
or understanding, Let's let us say inspiration just comes like
that's it feels different, like I didn't know that, right,

(20:43):
because why the scripture says he will teach you all
the things that you understand. He will teach us everything.
The Holy Spirit will teach us and bring it to
all truth. That's what Jesus said. He said, my spirit
will leading to all truth. So what I've found if
we want to make a differentiation for me, For example,
when I write, I might just be sitting there and
suddenly thoughts are to flow in my mind. I know

(21:04):
it's a spirit, the Holy Spirit. And I know I
would not have known this otherwise because it's like a revelation.
It's like a sudden thought or where we say inspiration
and I start to write and I know, wow, how
did I do this? You could say, now, that's a spirit.
Like for example, if you're doing one of those that
you're doing coaching and somebody you know, you're having an
incension and they're trying to engage with the school and

(21:24):
so on, and suddenly a thought hit them or an idea,
you could say, oh, that's a spirit because oh, I
didn't know that. I would not have thought of something
like that. You could say, that's a spirit, right if
it's if it's Jesus, I think Jesus sounds more human.
If you want to say that it's human, right, yeah, like,

(21:48):
like on my level if you want to say that, right.
For example, if I am sometimes to play a word game,
just for example, and you would say so, and I
know that's him, you would say, so, what do you
think about the word r ip? Maybe change the meaning
of that, right, so I know that's him? Right when

(22:08):
when we so that's different. So now if we talk
about the Father, it feels more like I'm a child.
It doesn't feel like I am necessarily like a king.
It feels it feels something when I say it feel
because words is attached to feeling. Also, right me something

(22:33):
for example, let me see something without sight because usually
I'm seeing. When I'm interacting right with the Father, it
feels more like for me, not o. People said this,
the comforter is Holy Spirit. It feels more like I'm
more like a child engaging with the Father. It has

(22:58):
a different kind of feel to it. I think the
testing of the words of what we're hearing is the
feeling that is attached to it. I think that would
help us differentiate. Right. So the Holy Spirit, Yeah, the
Holy Spirit? What I feel. Okay, I'm sitting here just
doing anything, or I'm doing my dishes as usual, where
I get a lot of inspiration and then suddenly thoughts
start to hit me, ideas start to hit meself. Oh,

(23:20):
the Holy Spirit is given me some information, and that
is scripture. Of this, that is scripture. Jesus said he
will come and live in you. He will teach you
all things that you don't know. So on and so
on in religion to all truth. The Spirit made grown
ins that cannot be uttered. You know, those those are
all spirit. If you want us a holy spirit, right,
he came, He baptized them with the Holy Spirit, with fire,

(23:40):
blah blah blah, you know those things. When it's Jesus,
it's really feels different. It feels like more human because
he was human. He walked on the earth, He walked
in a body like us, so that they could be
this brother relationship. They could be this joking time, They
could be this you know, really like letterature here downtime
with him, like you could sit and watch a movie

(24:00):
with him, right right, So that feels like that. We
will talk about the voice, our own voice, and with
the Father. It always to me in my esimation, the
feeling that goes with it is like this is my father.
Somehow they know and that is why I talk about
it trying to striving or pressing, just let it go. Rest.

(24:24):
Rest is very, very key in this whole thing because
every time we come out of rest and we're trying
it doesn't happen. Then we will know because He is
faithful to teach us and to tell us the truth.
So I give its attached to our feeling with our
own voice. Now that is a difficult one, and tell

(24:45):
you true the reason why it's a difficult one because
we have so many filters and sound inside of us.
And let's go right back before I come back there.
That's why healing, inner healing is important, and dealing with
triggers or something. For example, somebody may say God, let's
say God told me that I should do this particular thing.
But you know that it's not based in the world.

(25:07):
It's not in the scripture. Now, not everything is written
in black and white in the scripture, but it is there.
It really is there. It's between right there. Everything is
right there right So for example, let me see, suppose
there is a person who I think I don't like,
and I'm in the spirit, I'm you know, doing all

(25:27):
the whole stroll thing, and somebody hasn't other business, and
we go, like you hear something says, well, maybe you
should do a particular thing and try to get their business.
I mean that's a little extreme, right, something that's not
definitely doesn't match a character of God. One of the

(25:48):
things that tests your own voice. This is not for me.

Speaker 3 (25:50):
This is I and C.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
It's about those twelve gates. Those things like please join in, love, justice, judgment,
the righteousness. Those are good tests. If you have the
song that you received doesn't match up to those twelve,
then you know this cand of be any one of them.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Yeah, don't see anyone. It has to match. It's I
think it's justice, judgment, righteousness, please, joy and love, I
kindamemeter the rest of them. It's twelve of them, right,
I don't love that.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
If you could get that to me, email it to
me so I can put it in the show notes
because some is going to want to know that.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, let's see what I could.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, yeah, if you, if you wouldn't mind one other
thing that is occurred to me as well as Elizabeth.
You and I have been doing this for so long.
We we establish boundaries. I mean, and even before we
jumped on and hit record. We established boundaries around us

(26:51):
to protect us. But someone who this might be new
to or they're not used to using it in their
business or things like that. What I just want to
put it out there. Make sure that you've got your
armor on, your spiritual armor, and protect yourself when you
want to press into Jesus and to say, bring my

(27:12):
scroll in, Bring in whoever's assigned to my scroll, so
that we can look at what I'm supposed to do
for my business. To make this decision. Whatever you're doing,
you know, just establish that boundary around you and just say,
no one is allowed to talk to me other than
the voice of God, other than the voice of the

(27:32):
Lord right now. And I you know, close down any
of my own like you just said, emotional healing. Any
parts of me who want to cause friction or confusion
or chaos, we just put those to sleep. We're only
going to hear the voice of the Lord right now
for my business. So I just want to put that
out there. Is that is always something that you can

(27:55):
make sure that you're taking taking authority over the atmosphere
and have your helmet salvation and your breastplate of righteousness,
your belts of truth, so you're only hearing truth and
you're discerning truth, and then your shoes of peace, like
like Elizabeth said, you have to be in rest. So
those are just some boundaries. There's some guardrails that might

(28:15):
help anyone who's trying to hear from the Lord for
their business.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
So let's put it. Put it in this way, right,
I think he has made it very simple for us
to understand because he doesn't want to hide things from us.
You want to show us stuff.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Right.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
The secret of the Lord is with them who fear him,
and there's a reason for that, but we won't talk
about that now. So in our natural life, right, if
we have a house with treasures, see our is cruel
is a treasure, My house is my treasure, we would
want to protect it. If we know we are living
in a place where they could be infiltrated, there could

(28:52):
be infiltration, we want to protect it. And I think
one of the things that we struggle with I'm going
to say is that we want to know if our
words mat in the spirit. We want to know if
say matter in the spirit. I think that that's a
struggle because because you can't see it, you think it
doesn't make it doesn't make sense. But you see, it
matters because by the word, everything is created. By the

(29:14):
sound coupled with intentionality. It's not just scatter brain does it.
Everything we do, every choice we make, it is a
threshold crossing in the spirit. It has the ability to
change chapters in our life, even the words that we say.
The scriptures are by the word. By your words, you're justified.
By your words, you're condemned. And that scripture may sound scary,

(29:36):
like what got to be careful? I shouldn't say, oh,
take back your word. I redive that so we don't
have to live in that fear. That is why I
love not that relationship. But it is so key because
that anchoring, yoking to the ox or yo can have
been in him. It helps us to not live in
that fear because perfect love it wries at fear right,

(29:58):
for He has given us a sound mind right. And
I think that some of those are key elements when
we are engaging in the realm of the spirit. The
blood is very key in the realm of the spirit
because it's the blood that speaks a better word. Because
if our bloodline is going to speak, For example, if

(30:18):
I'm engaging in a sension or my scroll or something,
and I'm going, oh, my gosh, you know, yesterday I
cust or something, or me and this person have a
battle going on, and you feel like there's all these
things inside of you that is not okay. It means
there's a record inside of you that is speaking. Number one.
Just to be on the safe side, just deal with

(30:39):
it in the courts and it is done. And then
also for good measure, step into the blood. How it
does work by faith? It works by faith? Right. Faith
is a transportation device in the spirit. It's not just
something you're grabbing and you can't find. It is something
solid in the realm of the spirit. So when he
said faith, will I find faith when I come? Faith

(31:02):
is I know? We quote the scripture. Faith is the
substance of things, So for the evidence of things not
seen and blah blah and those things. But faith is
really something solid in the spirit. It's not necessarily in
this physicality, but it's something in the spirit that could
be actualized here when we activate it in the spirit. Right,
so we step by faith the world by faith. They
conquered he Brews twelve right by faith or he Brews eleven.

(31:23):
They did all of these things. So when we step
in by faith, we stepped into the sound and the
voice of the blood Hebrews twelve. He said, for you
have come to Magzion, and he said all these things,
and he said to the voice of the blood, that
speaks a better word than Abel. Why because Abail's bloodline, right,
Abil's blood line. So his blood speaks a better word

(31:44):
than our bloodline, than the record inside of us. Because listen,
we're being perfected. So we can't say, okay, I'm perfect.
Now I can go into his presence. No, we can't.
We can't wait for that, because it's in him we
are made a whole and not a beautiful scripture of
very script scripture that is used all the time. If
we confess our sins, He's faithful and just to forgive.
Isn't the cleanses all? And Wright says, listen, that's freedom.

(32:07):
Just hold it. Yeah, Okay, I'm gonna use that. You
said that. I've used that, so you said this, Okay,
we're gonna believe that because what we believe, you see everything,
we have some total of what is in here or
here here right inside of us, right what we believe
because the heart is is what is really rule things?

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Right, Yeah, it doesn't actually exist in our physical body,
so we really it doesn't make.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
Sense to point, but we get it, you know what
I mean, just for it, you know. Yeah, that's important
because if we live in this fear, because I understand fear,
fear is choice right, and we can't do things Like
I invited one of my family members, I say, hey, guys,
I mean this is church people, right, nice people. Let
us let us learn about the course. No no, no,

(32:50):
no no, something may may may attack me. So you
see the mindset, something may attack me. I said, you
don't know what you're missing from there because we have
so much blockers and blockers inside of mind. It's like
it's actually like a concrete block inside of us. How
I know it. I experience it where I feel like
I want to do something, but I could see almost

(33:12):
like a physical concrete block in the spirit stopping me.
What I had to do. I had to choose. This
is a threshold called choice is a threshold crosser. I
had to choose, be intentional and look at that thing
and run through it man before from standing behind it
the fear. But I hear the voice of God. Is

(33:32):
it Jesus voice? Is it my voice? Is it Father's voice?
And he's standing there. You will never know, but it's
for freedom. He has satisfied. Trust him and just run
through that wall of our unbelief and our fear with
the blood, the voice of the blood. It will speak
for us. It will speak for us because He is

(33:54):
good and he is kind. And when we come to him,
he hears us. He absolutely, even heress before we talk,
even here's the desires, like he got it covered in
every way. He really got it covered. And I believe
we have struggles. One of the foundations is the believe
that God is good. And I'll tell you a story.

(34:14):
Right when I read a scripture I think is in
Judges and it says for God is good on his
mercy and jewis forever. And that ripped through that thing.
I think when they said it, they said the priests
feldom they couldn't stand. The minister. I was like, what
what is in this God is good? I can't remember.
I think it's in the Book of Judges. That may

(34:35):
be wrong, but something like that. Forgive me if I'm
mixing it up, but that set out to me, and
there was this, But I realized, if we do not
have that foundation, be going back to that topic as
all one of our foundations, one of our basic things
that we believe in in this building, who we are,
the House, the Kingdom, the living mobile House of God. Right,

(34:57):
we will always question things, We will live in fear.
We were living unrest and all these things. This person,
anything that happens, they always turn on God. They blame him,
They always fear for something. There was something they love Jesus.
They could speak, they have revelations, but there was this

(35:18):
broken part in the foundation of believing that God is
truly good. Simply God is good. And then one day
so they were struggling and wholes and it was very
worrisome because I know they were living on the edge.
No matter how big they are, no matter how many
encounters you meet, Peter, James, Fall, you meet, everybody. But
that foundation, it wasn't working, and it kept affecting them

(35:41):
in different ways. Every so often, if something terrible happens,
something bad happened, you don't have money, you can't pay
your bills, or your business went bankrupt, or whatever happens.
God in care with me. You see, if he was
truly good it's a very sinister sound. Anytime we hear that,
we know that's not God and that is our sound. Yes,

(36:01):
but it's mingled with the song of a familiar spirit.
It means that we are in tandem. We are agreeing.
If two shall agree as such and anything, it shall
be done. And that agreement doesn't only mean me and
you agree, and it means spirit sullen body. There has
to be agreement, there has to be oneness. Spirit soulen body.

(36:21):
And this person they had an encounter. They woke up
one morning and they turned and they saw a huge
angel by the bedside, and the agent said, I am Goodness.
I am Goodness, since this is personal to me because
this is one of my kids. And when they met Goodness,

(36:42):
the Angel of Goodness, it completely destroyed the mindset. Now
people say, what happened to me? Why doesn't that happen
to me? Because your scroll is different. God doesn't favor
one above the other. He does not like that. He's
no respective persons. This person needed that, a person, I say,
I need that to Why doesn't give it to me?

(37:04):
I don't have that answer, but I'm telling you the
invitation is for you. Also, he said it the entire Bible.
It says, come, Come, let us reason together. Come if
you're thirsty, Come if you're dry, Come if you're hungry.
This is come. Why an't you coming?

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Come boldly to the throne of grace.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Yeah, com boldly, Hebrews one of my favorites. He was
sending to twenty come boldly. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
That verse, by the way, it is, sounds one hundred
five one, which is God is good, The Lord is good,
and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
Yeah. But the one way the priest couldn't stand the minister.
I think it's somewhere I'll have Okay, chronicle or chronicles
I can't remember, let me God remember. Yeah, let's look
for it. Yeah, the priest could not stand the minister.
The priest, I'll let you look that up.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
But what you're saying is so good, and somebody needed
to hear that. That will make a really big difference
for somebody. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
Yeah, But the glory of God, I think is let
me see your second Congress. Fine, No, it got to
be chronic because I think the one I'm talking about,
judges is what I said that every man did, which
was right in the oside. That's another thing.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Well, you're the Bible scholar. I'm certainly not. I can.
I know how to look it up, and I know
how to figure out what the original Hebrew was.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
But I just love I love the scripture. It tastes.
It's actually, you know, it sounds like honey, it really is.
You could actually taste it. I love it. But it's
a taste. And see, so when I taste, I will
see obviously, so good, that's here taste and see you
know what, let me send this to you after I'll
find it.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
Okay, we'll put it in the show notes with that,
With that first was that was so good?

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Though?

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Yeah? Well, Elizabeth, oh my gosh, you are such a
wealth of knowledge. I'm sure that you could could gush
more goodness on us.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
I love talking about him, rearing. I really love talking
about him. Oh it's good his years be walking together,
me and him, it's it's it's beautiful. And there is
so much that we can never share. We just have
to be, we have to become. That's it. There's there's
things that we can never ever put doors. It's a

(39:35):
life live, not a story we could necessarily tell.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
Oh, I love that not a life or it's a
life lived, not a story we can tell.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Yeah, it's a life lived, that's it. And the becoming
we shall be seen as he is, that's it. He's
really good, simply, he's really kind. And the foundation that
you talk about, I love how you talk about the
depth of the foundation, and that's really what he's asking for.
Deeper so the building would be strong, the good carp
and they could do what he does. And then we

(40:05):
have the gardener taking care of his garden. He is
the gardener also, he still continues to deal with the
gardener need and the garden of our hearts with him.

Speaker 3 (40:14):
It's very well, so good, And that's the answer to
anything that's going on. You know, if your soul is
distressed in these times, spend time with Jesus. If you
need answers for your business, spend time with Jesus. If
something is going on with your health, spend time with Jesus.

(40:37):
It's just the answer.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
But that again might not be be easy because sometimes
you want to but you can't walk to But we
can because there's so much, especially if you're not feeling well,
you're physically tired and may be chemical reactions in your
brain and so on. You can't. I would say, well,
there are lots of things we can do. But on
some worship music, me said, I can't stand it, like

(41:02):
there are so many things that happened to us. Like
you want to put the worship music, but you want quiet.
I know this is my journey. You want quiet, you
want peace. You don't want to hear anything, but listen
the beautiful thing about it. If you could choose, this
is the beautiful thing at a park of choice, If
you could choose even quiet, the living Word will speak.
He's always speaking, and his word is truth, and that

(41:24):
is what changes us. We could talk a lot of things,
but if we're quiet, that all we have to say,
Jesus here am I in any in any That's all
his word and his truth will flood us. It will
floot us, right, And I suppose it's my voice. If
we keep warning about those things, we wouldn't move anywhere.
We'll be in that cycle all the time. Just a

(41:48):
spirit of truth teach me, the simple words, just requests said,
make your request known to him. Spirits of truth teach me.
I think that there's someone truths inside of me. I
think I am believing a lie. Teach me and he
is so faithful. He shall do it. He shocks me.
Wait you heard that, like you're actually doing it and

(42:09):
don't plan how you expect him to do it or
answer it, just be expected and said he is good
and he will. He is good. He's a good father.
He absolutely is.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Yes, he is.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
Well.

Speaker 3 (42:24):
That's a great last word, Elizabeth. Thank you so much
again for taking time to be with us here and
spirits and business. I really appreciate it, and I just
love you. I love what you're You bring such an
amazing presence to the world. And I know that you're
in between doing things with business and other things, but

(42:46):
you just being you is so good. It's I mean,
you said a life lived right and that you're embodying that.
So that's beautiful. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Thank you so much for inviting me. It really it's
a blessed to be here and so real. Honor thank
you so much. I really honor who you are in him,
and I just asked continue that your scroll just continue
to unfold and expand and unfurl all these beautiful words
as different oness you know to who you truly are, well,
who you are, who you are is who you are now,

(43:18):
but it's so much You're so much expanded. And I
love the excitement of the discovery you discovering him, him
discovering you. Well, can you discover you in a way
you know it's beautiful. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Yeah, he gets excited, you know, because we're little creators
as well. He wants to see what we're going to do.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yes, I really bless what you're doing. It's really really necessary.
I think in this time and just quickly, because you
talk about AI, I think, as we said before in
that previous interview, that we should not be afraid of AI.
There's a girl named Julia McCoy. She's a believer. Oh
I know, I know.

Speaker 3 (43:54):
I would love to get her on the show.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Yes, wow the money. She was extremely sick, almost dead,
and oh I need to get her on the show.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Do you know her? No?

Speaker 1 (44:07):
But I think so if you could reach out to
I will, I will probably message. I want to tell her,
you know, I will give her your linkol. So just
just get on her so that she was like, oh,
these people are messing with for this person, so she could.
She's a beautiful person and she talks a lot. She
understands the I, she is training it. She has a
person neverse so yeah, so I agree. I think she

(44:30):
would be the best person to talk about anything to
do with AI, the fear of it, or the lat
deter or what you are. And the thing is, she's
a believer, yes she is.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
She's a she's a kingdom person, so definitely that would
be cool. Yeah. No, I didn't want to talk say
anything about being afraid of AI. What I really I'm
just saying it's important right now to stand on a
solid foundation, don't be shaken. Everything around us can be shaken. Yeah,

(45:01):
that's that's all I was going with that.

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Thank you, Thank you all.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
Right, Thank you Elizabeth. And by the way, I receive
your word. I receive that about unfolding and unfurling my scroll.
I receive that, and I passed it on to my
audience as well.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Bilin.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
Until next time, stay spirit centered, peace out.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
