All right, good morning and welcome to the Brian Rush Show.
Happy Friday. We've made it to the big weekend. Thank
you so much for checking us out today. Coming up
later on in this morning, of course, as we always
do on our Fridays, we have the boys from America
in View that will be joining us an hour number
three of the show to give us a rundown of
what's going on here in the state of Florida, and
we also chat about some of the things going on too.
(02:03):
We are now in Daneuber thirty one of the Schumer shutdown,
and it's interesting to see because now that we are
in daneber thirty one, we are finally starting to see
the mainstream media, the CNN's, MSNBC's and all the others,
start to actually cave and realize, you know what, this
might actually be a Schumer shutdown, and you are seeing
(02:23):
them actually starting to refer to that, and when they're
having some of their Democrat friends on, they are actually
calling them out and saying, hey, this is the Democrats
that are doing the shutdown. But we are in daneber
thirty one. Remember the longest one that we've had is
thirty five days, so we're only a couple of days
away from meeting that goal. And the question will be
will they finally open up the government. This has been
(02:47):
one of the dumbest arguments too, the way that this
has been going about and the misinformation about it and
why they're holding things back. It's really getting to the
point of just absolute patheticness. What is that? Would it
be sweet troll if Trump would would war the crown
(03:08):
that the South Korea tell you help my god, that
would be hilarious. And again, if you haven't seen this
absolutely great trolling moment that happened from the South Korean
president which really kind of trolling the left, great funny moment,
you know, as we get on the heels of the
(03:28):
no Kings rally and they continued cries for you know,
Donald Trump to not be a king and we don't
have kings here in America, and on and on and
on and on. South Korean's president gifted a golden crown
to Donald Trump the other day when he was in
South Korea for the big Asian meeting that they had.
(03:48):
I know that it's most likely going to end up
in the Oval Office to just help trigger now. Honestly,
I think it might go a little bit too far
for Donald Jump to actually wear it. However, him displaying
it in the Oval Office I think would be another
moment of just absolute hilarity with trolling. It really would have.
(04:12):
It's just the left, how much they are melting down
and you know, watching some more of the social media now,
things are not improving in this country and it's actually
really starting to get to a level of potential scariness.
I was watching somebody who was talking about the potentials
of civil war here in the United States, and there's
(04:32):
a lot of debate about whether or not the country
will go into some sort of a civil war. There
are some people now saying that within the next five
years that we will probably see a civil war in
this country. And I want to be optimistic and say
that it would not be something that the American people
(04:53):
would do, but when you start seeing what the left
is doing at this point, I have to kind of
concede a little bit to that frame of thinking that
maybe we will see a level of uprising. I don't
know if anybody's been paying much attention to the Minnesota
mayoral race, and it seems like a weird one to
(05:14):
be paying attention to, because we're kind of distracted by
the New York City mayoral race with Mama Donnie, who
is full of issues in himself. But the Minnesota mayoral
race is essentially looks like it's it's going to the Somali,
the Somali immigrant the guy who I swear to God,
he is the twin brother from them from the movie.
(05:39):
You know, look at me, Look at me, I am
the captain. Now look at me, I'm the mayor.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Now.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Had another rally yesterday, or it might have been a
Wednesday night when they had the rally, And at the rally,
while he was giving a speech, he was speaking a
lot in his native tongue and not in English. And
on top of that, there was all of these Muslim
(06:04):
chants that were happening at this rally. And it does
make you kind of sit back a second and take
note to this type of stuff as we notice who
is taking over a lot of our major cities, and
this I think could be a dangerous thing. Minnesota, first
(06:24):
and foremost is and this is another area of danger,
more so towards Democrats than anybody else. And again it
goes to show the stupidity of the left. Minnesota is
a very a very friendly to the LGB community. There's
a very large population of that community there in Minnesota.
(06:51):
It's something that's been there for a while, It's grown
a lot. It's kind of one of the big cities
to find that lifestyle in and they are electing a
Somali Muslim mayor? How do you think this is going
to turn out? I mean, I think most of us
(07:13):
who have a little bit of common sense and a
little bit of knowledge about how the Muslim religion, the
Islam religion, views the homosexual lifestyle. How do you think
this is going to turn out in Minnesota? When you
get a mayor who is Somali Muslim Islamic faith and
(07:36):
has the level of supporters, the Muslim supporters that are
supporting him there. How do you think this is going
to turn out for the gay community in Minnesota? You
and I we can answer this question. Not good. It's
not going to be good at all. We will see
hate crimes towards that community. We will see they that
(08:00):
will not be very flattering at all towards that community.
And with the mayor in charge, what will he do
with law enforcement, what will he do with other laws
in the city, and how much will he try to
implement levels and degrees of Sharia law? Not something that
has been thought about I think. I mean, if if
(08:22):
if I was somebody in that community, the last thing
that I would want to do is support somebody who
would hate me. But the left gets so blinded by
this whole diversity and equity inclusion, and they get their
their false feelings of everything's just gonna be so great
because look, he's an immigrant that came here, and oh,
(08:44):
it's just gonna be It's not gonna be good. It's
not gonna be good for that community. And again, it's
one thing to have somebody who is maybe anti Semitic,
does like Jews. Okay, that's one thing. That's just racism.
(09:05):
Somebody just doesn't like black people. Okay, that's fine, that's racism.
But when you have somebody whose religion despises who you are,
somebody whose religion is known around the world for throwing
people like you off of buildings to your death, a
(09:27):
religion that is known around the world for stoning people
and killing people because of who they are, and you
think that it's a good idea to install them as
the leader of your city. And the big difference between
the Minnesota mayor's race and the New York City mayor's
(09:49):
race is that Mama Donnie is practicing. And I know
I'm gonna get it wrong, so I'm not even going
to try and say the name of it. But there's
a specific name to being able to be somebody of
the Islamic faith and be able to lie in the
(10:10):
order to spread the Islamic faith. And that's what we're
seeing from Mammadanni. We see him lie about a lot
of things and not adhering to his faith and to
his background and to his family in order to win
the election. Because I can't imagine that the Muslim community
(10:30):
would be okay with a person who has that faith
lying to them that's against their religion. You can't do that.
But the difference between Mamadnni and the guy in Minnesota
is the guy in Minnesota is not hiding it. He's
not hiding it. He's not lying. I mean, it's straight up.
And again, if you saw the movie, the only thing
(10:54):
that I can think of about this guy is I'm
the captain. Now look at me. I'm the captain. There's
nothing about this guy that says to me, Oh, this
is the guy that's gonna make my city better. So
the question again about the Civil War and will America
get to that point, It wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't
(11:18):
surprise me because we are seeing a Muslim takeover of
our major cities. You look at the stuff that's going
on in places like in la where you have a
mayor who is somebody that has basically dedicated her life
to the communist socialist agenda. You have I mean, Brandon Johnson,
(11:42):
he's just played stupid up there in Chicago. But places
like Dearborn, Michigan, where I will say that there have
been some positive things that have happened in Dearborn that
have been kind of pro American, but there's also been
a lot of not so pro American things that have
gone on in that area. And now you have New
(12:04):
York City, you have Minnesota. You had in Texas the
attempt to build a Muslim community that would live under
Sharia law. Even that got the Kebash's, that was not
allowed to happen. And this is one of the things
that need to happen around the country more. And here
(12:25):
in the state of Florida, we have a proposed bill
to go in to basically ban sharia law here in
the state of Florida. This is something that should not
be done on some state levels, that should be on
a national level. I mean it actually first and foremost,
it shouldn't even be something that is discussed. But we're
(12:50):
at a point now we have to do that. And
you see absolutely zero attempt on the national level for
our politicians in Washington, d C. To step up and say, yeah,
absolutely positively no Sharia law in the United States. We
are a constitutional republic. We have our Constitution, we have
our Bill of Rights, we have the laws that we
(13:10):
have here in the country, and the foundation for why
all of our laws are based. And know we cannot
and will not practice Sharia law anywhere in the United States,
and anybody who tries to do it, you'll be overridden.
There's no attempt to do that in Washington. So I
do fear to a degree that if certain actions are
(13:32):
not stepped up, if people like Mama Donnie and the
boat captain over there in Minnesota are not stopped, and
that the movement is not stopped, it's going to lead
to it. Not to mention all just the stupid stuff
that the Democrats continue to push, not understanding what it
(13:53):
is that they're actually doing. You know, I was watching
another video yesterday, and it was a video of some
New Yorkers who were were supporting Mamma Donnie and in
the in the the process of supporting Mamma Donnie.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
They were talking about all of the the amazing, great
things that he is doing, and I'm thinking to myself, going,
do you understand what he's doing? And they really don't.
And it's kind of sad, you know. But we'll see
what happens in the place like New York City, whether
or not the city survives, My bet not so much.
(14:37):
All Right, we got to take a quick break. We'll
be right back. This is the Brian Rush Show.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
Good morning, all right, welcome back to the Brian Rush
Show here on Florida Man Radio, well streaming.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
On Rumble and whimkin dot com. Thanks so much for
letting us be part of your day today, road Range.
Thanks so much for uh for reminding me of it is.
It's ta kia. That is the that is the phrase.
Not that we want to educate ourselves on on exactly
what it is, but hey, here it is to kia
is the is the is what it is called when
(15:21):
you are somebody of the Islamic faith and you are
allowed to lie in order to basically spread the message
of the Islamic faith. That is one of the things
that they actually do. What's that considering making an f
a fo song for the knock It Off Coffee ad.
(15:43):
That's that's a good one. I haven't thought about that,
you know what, maybe we'll work on that. By the way,
if if you're wanting what we're talking about on that,
if you're listening on the floor to Man Radio Network, uh,
the during the ad space that you hear here in
the terrestrial radio that we have to have a filler.
So we have some music that sometimes promotes the knock
It Off coffee So that's uh, that's that's what we're
(16:07):
talking about. Some of them are pretty good. Actually, the
one that was just on I think is my absolutely
new favorite. It's kind of an R and B kind
of thing. Sounds kind of good. By the way, we
also we're gonna change up to the theme song at
the top of the hour two. I'm not sure if
we're just gonna shorten it up. We're gonna change it up,
you know, get it, get it kind of new. I
(16:28):
don't know. We'll see what we're gonna do. We're always
gonna try and improve the show. Which one of the
things I love getting from you guys is is feedback
on the show. You know, I do get a lot
of it from you guys. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's
not so good. But if if you got feedback on
the show, always send it to me. Don't ever be
afraid to think that I'm gonna be offended by it
at all, because I'm not. If there's something you don't
(16:50):
like about the show, tell me, I'll see what we
can do. I mean, look, everybody's got their opinions, and
somebody might not like a certain thing and it might
just be you, or it might be something that maybe
you're right about. So again, we do this show for you.
It's not for me. So you know, thoughts opinions. Always
(17:11):
like him and especially hit us up on Facebook on
that with those thoughts because we like it. And if
you follow the Florida Man Radio Network, I know that
from time to time they do pop up on their
Facebook page they asked the question, Hey, how are we doing?
Let us know? This is how we make how we
make a better show for you. So there is some
(17:34):
new developments when it comes to the snap thing. We'll
talk about a little bit more detail after the bottom
of the hour. But another thing that I find kind
of funny now is the continued meltdowns that we're seeing
on social media and Chuck Schumer. Now he's taking a
lot and reminding everybody that it's a government shutdown. He
is just on a regular basis now reminding everybody that
(17:56):
we're in the middle of this government, this Republican government shutdown.
Trump left the country and traveled all the way across
the world to fold to President President z G. And
I don't know where he's coming from other than just
trying to lie and distract and make it so that
other people think that, you know, it's all Donald Trump's fault.
(18:16):
Donald Trump left the country and he did business deals
for the country which will benefit the country. Now, one
of the things that I've I've pointed this out before,
and we all have to kind of be aware of this,
and especially the left, because they're they're they're stupid when
it comes to a lot of these deals that we
see the president working on, and we saw this with
Trump one point h two. It's not right away. It's
(18:41):
not right away deals like when he goes off and
he makes this three hundred billion dollar deal to shift
some manufacturing and production to America. You know, that's not
something that you're going to see right away. It may
take a year for that to actually take effect. But
what you have to watch is the deal making and
then the remnants of the deal making. If he goes
(19:03):
to China, if he goes to South Korea, goes to Russia,
or wherever he might go, and they make a deal
to do some manufacturing here in the US, or to
do certain things here in the US, and to build
here in the US, it takes time. It can take
up upwards of a year or two years even to
(19:23):
build a facility or to retrofit a facility, to be
able to accomplish the deal that has been made. You know,
this is one of the things that people fail to understand,
especially the left. At the end of Trump's first term,
is that when he was building up all these deals
and he was creating all these manufacturing agreements to come
(19:47):
to the US, it was all going to come here.
And then obviously COVID happened and everything, for the most part,
came to a screeching halt. The thing that didn't come
to the screeching halt was the planning stages. The development
stage is the getting all the policy or the regulations over,
getting through all the regulations, cutting through the red tape,
(20:09):
getting all the permits, getting all the drawings, getting everything done,
working out on the contracts, and then when all of
that was worked out and about the normal time that
it would have taken, that's when we saw the new
Biden administration come in. We saw a lot of the
COVID restrictions coming down, and then what we saw is
a lot of the jobs that had already gotten started
(20:30):
during the Trump administration come back. And then we saw
the deals that Donald Trump had been working on start
to come to fruition. Because it takes time for this stuff.
So when you saw the Biden administration try and take
claim for it, it wasn't them. It happened under their timeframe,
but it actually was because of Donald Trump. And when
you see Chuck Schumer coming out and saying that Donald
(20:51):
Trump's not doing anything and he's traveling around the world
and he's folding to the presidency, he didn't. He's getting
his stuff done. He's getting a job done on not
going making videos in front of Epstein's place. We'll be
right back, all right, Welcome back to the show. By
(21:24):
the way, I almost forgot, which is stupid of me,
because who I remember it is a Red Friday where
we remember everyone who is deployed, including our ICE members
and our federal agents center out deployed trying to make
this the nation safer. Despite what the Democrats may actually
end up saying. Of course, our Red Fridays where we
(21:47):
not only remember them, but remember all of our military
that is also deployed around the country and around the world.
Brought to you by a friends an American Charlie Grill and
tavern right there on the beach in Panama City Beach.
Go out and check them out. By the way, holiday parties,
if you haven't done a holiday party yet, think about
American Charlie's. I've actually done a couple of them there
(22:09):
and they do central fantastic job on it. But here's
the problem. They fill up quickly. So if you're looking
to do a holiday party this year, think about that now.
Don't be waiting until after Thanksgiving and go you know what,
we need to do a holiday party. Oh crap, there's
no place to do it, So get in with our
friends at American Charlie now to do that as we
celebrate our Red Fridays. So welcome back to the show.
(22:33):
We are in date number thirty one of the Schumer shutdown.
And of course tomorrow. One of the things that a
lot of people are focusing on right now, if you're
especially on the left, is the snap benefits problem. And
this is going to be one of the other continuing
issues when it comes to the Schumer shutdown that tomorrow
(22:58):
about forty one million it's about forty one point seven
million Americans will lose food assistance. In theory. Now, this
is also what is being said is going to happen. Now,
this could change because one of the things that we
(23:21):
keep hearing is that Donald Trump has the ability to
do it, that there is a contingency fund, that Donald
Trump is starving the people. Now they got the benefits
originally the first of the month, and now we're at obviously,
you know the second portion of this, and you know,
(23:42):
part of the clean continuing resolution is to ensure that
things like the food assistance programs are taken care of.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Now.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
One of the things for me that is just disturbing
to watch, and it really kind of annoys the hell
out of me, is that for the past week or so,
been watching a lot of social media and seeing people
who are really just kind of getting out there and
promoting the idea of stealing food. Go and rob the
grocery stores. Go and rob the people who are at
(24:15):
the grocery store getting their groceries, have already paid for it.
Go ahead and steal things. I saw a woman who
and this is how brazen they are. They just don't care.
They take to social media. Put the camera in front
of this woman that I watched a video this morning.
She's literally sitting there going, Okay, well, here's all the
things that I stole today from the grocery store. And
(24:38):
she starts pulling out her purse and she's pulling out
all these spices and all these other things and they're expensive.
They're like, this was nine dollars, this was twelve dollars.
And she's just pulling this stuff out and talking about
how expensive it was, and she's like, I'm not paying
this for this with my own money now. Again, I
don't have a problem with food assistance programming when it
(25:01):
goes to those that are in need. But when you're
sitting there with your two hundred dollars fingernails and your
hair all done up and wearing really super nice clothes,
and you're reaching into your Gucci purse to tell us
about this nine dollars bottle of spice that you stole
because Donald Trump is evil and not giving me my
(25:23):
food stamps and snap program. I'm sorry, I have no
sympathy for you. First off, watching you get into your car,
I saw that, you know what, maybe a little less
food for you would be kind of okay. But this
is one of the other problems that we have with
the food stamp or the food assistance program, is that
(25:45):
there are too many people on it that shouldn't be.
We need to crack down on this forty one million people.
They're calling it forty two million because it's about forty
one point seven million, But how many of those people
are like these people that we are watching on social
media who are recording this with their expensive phone, sitting
(26:08):
in their nice car, with their very fancy, expensive fingernails
that are done, and telling us about how they're stealing food.
When you see these rather large, overweight people being caught
on camera now stealing food from other people, how am
I supposed to have sympathy for you? Get up and
(26:30):
go go work, get a job, pay for it yourself.
That's what most of the rest of us do. The
food assistants program should be saved for one specific type
of people, and that is it, and that is those
who really need it. The single parent that is struggling
(26:51):
because they don't make enough money, that's the person that
should be getting the food assistance to make sure that
their children are fed.
Speaker 7 (26:59):
Right.
Speaker 5 (27:00):
But then again, here's the other problem. Is the whole
argument about oh, well they're taking off our junk food. Well, yeah,
because we don't want your kids to be five hundred
pounds like you are. We want your children to be healthy.
And the other group of people is obviously people like
(27:20):
our elderly who should receive food assistance. But to see
people complain about their food sussistance being taken away. And
I talked about this other video earlier this week with
the girl who's talking about how she wouldn't get her
nails done and she had to pay for it out
of her own pocket, that they wouldn't accept her EBT
card anymore. It's like, well, first off, what the hell
(27:43):
does getting your nails done have to do with food
assistants and why was that allowed to begin with? These
are some of the things that we should be looking
at our politicians when a lot of this is done
and over with and we figured this out and get
it back to saying why are we doing this? I
have a lot of female friends who go and get
their nails done, and I hear from them on a
(28:04):
regular basis how stupid expensive it is. And I know
how much money just my group of female friends are
spending on getting their nails done, which by the way,
they pay for out of their own pocket. Why should
you and I have to do this? I saw another
thing too, What are the things that the trying to
guilt the rest of us that if you make one
(28:24):
hundred thousand dollars a year, you are only paying fifty
one dollars a year out of your taxes is going
to the food assistance program. If you make seventy thousand
dollars a year, it's like thirty dollars a year. That
is that is that is going to food assistance programs.
(28:45):
So think about that, okay, I'm thinking about that. Okay.
So if I make one hundred thousand dollars a year,
that costs me fifty it's like fifty one dollars, I
think is what they said. It was, so fifty one dollars, Okay,
that that's fine. That for me, that's a meal. When
I go out, I'll spend fifty dollars at a meal easily.
(29:08):
So is that that big of a deal. No, it
really isn't. But it's not the point. The point is
that you have people that are again spending money on
things that they should not be spending money on. You know,
all of this stuff with buying the junk food. It's
not healthy for these kids, and then what do we
(29:29):
end up having health issues because of the horrible food.
But there's also a lot of Americans, a lot of
Americans who can't afford to go out every week and
buy a slab or ribs, or go out and buy
steak for the entire family, or go off and get
(29:49):
lobster and champagne and all this other stuff that we
see people constantly get on food stamps. So again, we
don't want our fellow Americans to go hungry. We know
who needs to have these programs, and we support it,
but we can't continue to support the people who are
doing what they are doing with spending these these benefits
(30:11):
on things that have nothing to do with food. Look,
we all want the best in life. At least I'd
hope that we would all want the best in life.
I mean, if you could have the choice, do you
go get the store brand or do you go get
the name brand that's a little bit better and in
a lot of cases it's not even any difference. But
you get what I'm saying. Do you want to go
to to Taco Bell and have tacos there or do
(30:34):
you want to go to the nice Mexican restaurant where
it's going to cost a little bit morning more money
and the quality is better. Obviously you want to go
with the other, and that's a goal you should work towards,
is to be able to afford to do that. But
this idea that we continually support people who will not work.
I think most of us are getting fed up with it.
(30:54):
And for me, I'm telling you, I'm just I'm getting
more and more aggravated when I see this. I'm doing
okay for myself, so I'm not really in the need
for this. But it doesn't change the fact that there
are many of our fellow marias, many of you that
listen to this show because we chat about this all
the time. You know, you guys can't always afford to
(31:17):
go out every week. You guys can't afford to buy
the ribs every week to go grill in the stakes
and all this other stuff, and the twenty four ounce
twenty four pack of SODA's and all this other stuff.
You guys know that sometimes that that is a specialty
for you guys. You guys know that you have to
(31:38):
pay for your child care. You guys know that you
have to pay for all this stuff. And you guys
are struggling. It's not fair to everybody else in America
to have to work hard, struggle hard, and then to
have certain people just take advantage of these programs. And again,
this is the problem for the politicians. And you have
(32:01):
politicians like the purple haired Rosa Deloro from Connecticut, who,
by the way, eighty two years old, has been in
office since nineteen ninety one. And that woman is incredibly
bat crap crazy and she always has been. But she
is now out there claiming that President Trump is illegally
(32:21):
blocking food stamps funds. Then again, the food stamp funds
are scheduled to not be renewed tomorrow. And one of
the arguments that we keep hearing from the left is
that there is there's eight million dollars in the contingency
plan for food for the food stamps. Now here's the thing.
(32:44):
The Republicans have not really talked much about this. Donald
Trump has not really talked much about this. And when
I say they haven't talked much about this, they haven't
said no, it's not there, No, we can't do that. So,
just to get you filled in on what it is
that the Democrats are talking about, there is a law
that requires SNAP benefits to be paid from a contingency
(33:06):
fund that is available through the USDA. This is all
through an act. It's called the Agriculture Rule, Development, Food
and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. It's basically
a contingency fund that is authorized under seven US Code
(33:26):
two zero two seven, which governs appropriations and allotments for
SNAP and In this section, it allows for funds to
be used for use only in such amounts and at
times as may be necessary to carry out program operations. However,
the operational requirement to use these funds during lapses is
(33:47):
implemented via specific appropriations language in annual acts, making it
a mandatory tool for ensuring uninterrupted benefits. So there are
ways that the government can still fund SNAP. And again,
today was the last day before we go into this
thing with the food assistants potentially not being fulfilled, and
(34:11):
with this the appropriations language has got to be done
every year. This is not a permanent thing. It's a
redo every year. And it includes a provision for approximately
three billion dollars in contingency funds to be available for
three fiscal years. So right now, according to the reports,
there's about six billion dollars that is in this contingency
(34:35):
fund to be able to basically fund the food assistant programs.
And we may see that go into effect today. We
may see that, you know, the Trump administration or the
USDA is going to be like, yep, all right, go ahead,
we have the contingency funds. We can fund this for
(34:55):
another month right out of those funds. Not a big deal.
You haven't heard the Republicans saying they're not going to
do it. You only keep hearing the Democrats saying that
they're not doing it. Well, if you haven't reached that
point yet, what's the sense of saying that you're going
to do it if you haven't reached that point. But
here's my other question. Why is it that we have
(35:16):
gotten to a point now where a week, two weeks
prior to the end of the funding, the alleged end
of the funding of the food assistants program, that we
have people out there that are robbing grocery stores, that
are talking about we got to go steal stuff. And
again the fact that the politicians are not even remotely
(35:38):
talking about the forty one point seven million people that
are on food assistance programs, why aren't we doing something
to get them off of that? By the way, Trump
has so far this year, Trump has got about six
hundred thousand people off of food assistance, and not by
just kicking them off. He's gotten them off by lifting
them up so that they don't have to be on it. Now,
(36:01):
the step two has got to be kicking people off
of it that are not supposed to be on it.
Because here's the thing. If you could go off and
afford a thousand dollars Gucci bag, you can afford to
feed your family for a couple of months. You don't
necessarily need to go buy that Gucci bag. You don't
necessarily need to have the fanciest nails done all the time,
you don't necessarily need to go buy the nicest car.
(36:24):
Sometimes you have to learn to prioritize some of your things.
And when we continually give people stuff, they're not going
to learn. Sometimes lessons are hard and they have to
be taught. But there is a contingency plan or contingency
fund to support this. And before we criticize the Trump
administration or the Republicans on it, we have to wait
(36:46):
to see what happens. They could go into that today.
I mean, the law states that it goes into effect.
So if the law says it's going to go into effect,
and again this is where Republicans fail to message. I mean,
all it would take is the Republicans that come out
and go it's not a big deal. Coming up on
the thirty first, the law says that this has to
be funded, so it'll be funded out of this contingency plan.
Moving on next, let's get the government reopened. By the way,
(37:10):
the some numbers to throw at you, it has now
cost about ten billion dollars in pay for the non
essential workers during this shutdown. The shutdown, if it was
to happen for a week, not a big deal, wouldn't
affect really anybody. Everything would be fine. But the fact
that we have reached thirty one days into the shutdown,
(37:31):
we are now affected about ten billion dollars just in
pay and that doesn't include, you know, the trickle down
effect of what's happening at cities like you know, the
Panama City area, the Fort Walter Beach area that has
a lot of military and a lot of government. Of
course Petzacola area as well, with big bases that provide
a huge part to our economy. What is that going
(37:51):
to do to some of our local economy. But it
also boils down to this, is that what the Democrats
are holding hostage is all stuff that can be handled
in individual bills later, but they are holding Americans hostage
and they're lying about it. All right, we got to
take a quick break. We'll be right back. This is
the Brian Rush Show. Good morning, all right, welcome back
(38:28):
to the show again. It is a Red Friday being
brought to you by our friends at American Charlie Grill
and Tavern right there at Panama City Beach. Don't forget
that the holidays right around the corner. Call them, schedule
a holiday party, get your reservations in there. Also, go
down and check out their new menu and their new
extended hours. And of course with the football going on
both Saturday Sunday College and pro They've got a whole
(38:50):
bunch of new TVs, so you can enjoy that while
enjoying the new menu. Go check out American Charlie's our
sponsor of Red Fridays, where we remember everyone who is deployed,
including those ICE agents and border patrol and all of
our National Guard who are sent in places like Illinois
to clean up the mess that is being left behind
by our Democrat leadership. Friends, Jamie Prickser now is out
(39:16):
making a plead to Ice and sent a letter out
to Christy Nome and pleading to halt all of the
operations in Chicago for tonight to allow children to let
children be children, as he put in his letter. In
his letter, he put down that no child should be
forced to inhale tear gas or other chemical agents while
(39:37):
trick or treating in their own neighborhood. And he said
that Illinois children should not be robbed of their innocence.
Let them enjoy a time honored American tradition safely and peacefully.
Will please let children be children for one holiday, free
from intimidation and fear, by the way, Christy Nomes said, Yeah, no,
(40:02):
But here's the thing, governor, you want children to be children,
You want to let them not be robbed of their innocence.
How much time do we got? Two and a half minutes.
Not enough time to get into all of that, because
there's so many things, Pritzker, that you have done, that
you support, that your support, your party supports that rob
(40:24):
children of their innocence every day. But rather than telling
the law enforcement, hey, can you do us a favor
and not come in and enforce the law for a
day so that the children can be children, why don't
you do this stop for a second and go man,
what's causing all the problems When Ice comes in? Ice
is coming in to get illegal criminals out of the country,
(40:47):
the ones that are violent, the ones that are oh,
robbing our children of their innocence. So we could just
arrest those people, have them in jail, call Ice, get them,
take him out of here. But the people that are
causing the problems which result in the use of to
your gas are your residents, mister governor. So wouldn't it
(41:09):
be more appropriate for you to just say, hey, listen, protesters,
I understand you're upset about everything, but let's try not
to protest tonight. Let's let children be children. Let's not
rob them of their innocence. Let's not get out in
protest tonight. Let's just take our kids trick or treating.
Why can't you approach it that way? Of course you can't,
(41:33):
because you've always got to blame things on somebody else.
It's not my fault. It's not the fault of the
people on our side that are protesting, these people that
are trying to make our city safer, so that we
can not rob our children of their innocence. We got
to go after that. But Christy Nome basically responded to
Governor Pritsker with a yeah, I don't think so, We're
(41:56):
going to continue to do our jobs because you're not.
And then the other thing too, that's kind of a
lie when you see this type of a statement, and
of course when you see the news as well, you think,
oh my god, city of Chicago is under siege. You
know that all of these protests are all happening in
the same spot, like for the most part, they're all
(42:18):
happening at where the ice facilities are. So good chances
are that most of the city of Chicago and Illinois, uh,
there's not these protests going on everywhere. It's just in
these small little areas. So once again the Democrats lying
to the people. All Right, we got to take a
break for our top of the hour. We'll be right back.
(42:39):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (42:46):

Speaker 5 (44:22):
All right, welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here
on Florida Man Radio. Thanks for checking us out being
part of your day. We appreciate this. We're in our
number two coming up an hour three of the show,
the boys from American View will join us. We're gonna
chat with them about a whole bunch of things going
on around the country and around the state and getting
ready for the next legislative session here in the state
of Florida, and some interesting things that are coming about
(44:44):
with that. We'll talk with them coming up. Plus, it
is also a Red Friday where we remember everyone deployed.
Brought to you by our friends at American Charlie Grill
and Tavern, and don't forget to give them a call
and check out their holiday parties. Get one of those
books now you'll enjoyed that. Plus they got their new
menu and their new extended hours as well. So DHS
(45:05):
now coming out with some surprising new numbers that are
a little on the scary side, and that is the
death threats that have happened against the ice officers. Now,
I'm pretty certain I could be wrong on this, but
I'm pretty certain a lot of these threats are coming
from the left. I highly doubt that this is the
(45:29):
extremely violent Maga right that is out threatening our ICE agents.
It is an eight thousand percent surge in death threats
targeting US immigration to Customs enforcement officers and the Department
of Homeland Security, as they announced this yesterday with some
(45:51):
new statistics, an eight thousand percent increase in death threats.
And again and these are all coming from our leftist friends. Additionally,
with this, some of the things that have been done
and we've seen this happen in this matter of fact,
there was a guy who even put a bounty on
(46:13):
ag Pambondi's head forty five thousand dollars dead or alive,
and was stupid enough to not only do it, but
stupid enough to go on to social media do a
video where he looked into the camera and said, I
am putting a bounty dead or alive on the Attorney
General's head.
Speaker 7 (46:34):
And you're what.
Speaker 5 (46:35):
Surprised when your door gets kicked in. But some of
the other things that have come about with this is
additional bounties on the heads of just the agents. There
have been some of these gang members, you know, the
gang members that are so violent that we want to
get them out of this country and make your community safer.
(46:57):
That these people are the ones that are now threatening
and putting out bounties on the heads of ICE agents.
If they're going to do that to law enforcement, what
are they going to do that to you when you
don't like them. They've also been doing things where they
are threatening the families, they are stalking them, and of
(47:18):
course doxing them online. And this is the thing too
that the left kind of goes. I don't know, Dan,
it's a big deal. Why do they have to wear
the masks? They should take the mask off. Well, when
they do have the masks off, what's happening, and of
course when they also have their nameplates on they're too
is that these losers on the left are doxing them online,
(47:41):
they are going after they are threatening the families, stalking
the families and threatening the agents. This is the reason
for why they're allowed to have the mask to conceal
their identity so that that won't happen. I mean, how
would you like it if that was the same case
with all of these protess testers. Not all that opposed
(48:02):
to it, but say you're a leftist protester and we're
going to tell you that you can't have your mask
on because we need to be able to track you down.
Threaten your family and put a bounty on your head
because while you were doing things we didn't like. You know,
it's okay for the Antifa and these other idiots on
(48:24):
the left to cover themselves up entirely with no identification,
but you can't do that with law enforcement. And yet
you go off and you threaten them. Some of the
other things that are happening at an unprecedented level that
the officers are experiencing is the level of violence. Earlier
this month, the federal agents had arrested Eduardo al gar Aguilar,
(48:48):
who is an illegal alien who's living in Dallas, Texas,
who posted a online TikTok soliciting the murder of ICE agents.
Was offering ten thousand dollars for each ICE agent calling
for ten dudes in Dallas with determination to carry out
the attacks. This is where our violent left is at.
(49:14):
By the way, just for clarification, anybody have the the
the specifics of the MAGA violence, the ones where MAGA
people are out there calling for the heads of Antifa people,
where there's a bounty on Gavin Newsom or a bounty
(49:35):
on Prickskur or aos. Has anybody seen these things? Because
I want to be fair. I want to be fair
and balanced on our coverage here of this, and I
haven't seen them, so I don't know if I'm missing
it or if it's just a lord of horse crap
that we're getting from the left. Because these are the
examples of the violence that is coming from the left,
(49:56):
and they continually say that it's us that's violent. Let
me tell you something. You don't want us to be
violent because if it boils down to the point where
we have to be the violent ones, it's not going
to work out well for you lefties. It's just not
going to I mean, you have seen the statistics, right
(50:17):
Who owns the most guns in this country?
Speaker 8 (50:20):
We do?
Speaker 5 (50:21):
Who is the ones that practiced with those guns the
most in this country?
Speaker 2 (50:26):
We do?
Speaker 5 (50:27):
Who are the ones that are the most patient, calm,
collective ones in this country?
Speaker 7 (50:33):
We are?
Speaker 5 (50:34):
And that will only last so long. We saw this
a couple of years ago, one of my absolute favorite
videos to watch. When it came to I think it
was either bl M or Antifa. I'm pretty sure it
was Antifa that did this, and I forgot what city
it was, But when they decided that they were going
to go off and attack the suburbs that they were
going to bring our fight out to the suburbs, and
(50:55):
they did it and it didn't work out well. You
saw them coming into these the suburban neighborhoods, and the
guys that were just out there having a couple of
beers talking to their neighbor, fixing the truck, mowing the
lawn and everything went ah, hell no, and they put
their stuff down and they went, all right, you want
to rumble, let's rumble. And the thing that stuck out
for me the most on this, aside from the sounds
(51:20):
that some of these Antifa people made when contact was made,
was the sounds of the wives and the women in
the community yelling out to their husbands and men. Just
don't kill them. This is the phrase, just don't kill them.
(51:41):
Don't kill them. And then they went off and they rumbled,
and you saw these tough guy Antifa people decided that
they were going to go mess with this blue collar
worker who just finished working an eight hour day and
I just want to change the oil on my truck,
or mow my lawn, or sit here and have a
beer and talk with my neighbor. And you come into
my community and disrupt it they beat the ever living
(52:04):
snots out of them, and and the the thing that
I also loved. And I can't find this video because
if if I found it, I'd probably not stop watching it.
But and I've seen this in other videos too, and
other things. When Antifa, these these tough guys finally get
somebody who stands up to them and grabs them and
beats their ass like they need to be, you hear
(52:26):
the most feminine kind of oh my god, And it's
just hilarious because it's like, you sit here and you go,
I thought you were so tough. What what happened to
the tough guy routine? You coming in with your pretty
little baseball bat and your your little bicycle helmet and
and you're all black and your your your your rallies,
(52:49):
and oh you were so tough. What happened? Oh, A
real man showed you what happens when you f a
f O. Right again, the left, I don't think they
understand how lucky they are that we on the right
are calm and collective, that we are sitting back and
(53:10):
is watching this going, buddy, you stupid. But the moment
that you crossed that line and that video in that
suburban neighborhood where they crossed that line, they found out,
they found out what happens. But it is the left
that continually do this violence. And I mean even in
that the situation, the Left didn't turn out well in
(53:31):
that situation, but they were the ones who who antagonized
and started the violence. But in addition to the case
with like Algarar, there was another case where ICE officers
their spouses are now receiving threatening phone calls filled with
(53:51):
all kinds of expletives and refer references to Nazi war crimes.
There was one caller that ended up saying, did you
hear what happened to the Nazis after World War Two?
Because it's what's going to happen here to your family.
They continue to threaten and you gotta be careful because
(54:11):
you know FAFO. But here's something else to point out too,
as we are watching the left's reaction today too. And
all of this has sparked because of the fact that
that Donald Trump is deporting people who are here illegally
in our country, who have come into this country, they've
committed additional violent crimes, and we are getting them out.
(54:36):
And yet the left is acting as if this is
the worst thing to ever happen. Now, during Trump one
point zero, during his four years, he did about one
point five million deportations. Sounds a lot, nothing compared to
the ten million or so that has been let into
this country during the the Biden administration. But let's look
(54:57):
at some other things. As of today, the Donald Trump
administration has deported about six hundred thousand people, and in
the past nine ten months, six hundred thousand people. So
we'll round this up. We'll call it two million people
now total. Under Donald Trump's you know, reign as dictator,
(55:21):
tyrant king. President Barack Houssein Obama, the one that we
oh my god, we must love him so much because
he was such a great president. In his eight years
he did five point three million. Where were the riots,
Where were the rallies? Where were all the calls to
(55:43):
to get ice out and to you know, murder ice
agents and to go after their families and rally in
the streets. Where was all of that? Because I don't
remember seeing it. I don't remember seeing the same leftists
being all upset when Barack Obama deported five point three
million people during his time period. Where was the same
(56:05):
people with the same energy during the past four years
when Joe Biden deported four point four million people out
of this country who were here illegally. Where were they
when George Bush deported ten million people out of this
country during his eight year time. But even worse, where's
(56:26):
the outcry when Bill Clinton, who deported twelve point three
million people out of this country? Donald Trump does a
total of two million people between his first term and
what he's at now. And it's the worst in the world.
(56:48):
All this violence has to happen, all of this, the
calls to injure and kill and maim and threaten the
ICE agents, all for what. And we didn't even see
this level during Trump one point zero. So what we
are seeing now for six hundred thousand people now. Granted,
(57:09):
the target list is a whole lot more. I mean, honestly,
the target list of Donald Trump is about ten million,
because there's about ten million that we know of that
need to go. But that's not who he's targeting. He's
going after the violent illegals. And we've seen so many
self deportations because people went, oh, crap, I want to
be in America, but now with this, I'm gonna leave
(57:31):
I'm gonna fill the paperwork out and then I'm gonna
come back because that's what you said I can do, right,
and you're gonna fly me out, So okay, great. So
the reason for why we see it now, though, is
because the left is realizing that they are losing their
grip and their power on the American people. Because the
American people are coming up and waking up. We are
(57:52):
seeing what is going on. And with the rise of
social media, which again is a good thing bad thing.
With the rise of social media, you are seeing more
and more people educating others about what's really truly going on,
and more and more people are seeing these videos, seeing
these posts and thinking about it for a second and going, oh, yeah, yeah,
(58:13):
you know what, you're right. This is what the left
is doing. And there is a major threat to the
power that the left holds, and they're not happy about it.
They're scared they're going to lose their power. And you
can see the level of desperation that is happening in
all of them. The lies that they continue to come
(58:34):
out with, the smear campaigns that they're doing, the idea
that for six hundred thousand people that have been deported
six hundred thousand violent criminals that have been deported. You
see what they're doing, It's because they know they are
seeing the polling information. They're seeing what the American people
are saying. And we've had it and it's scaring the
(58:55):
hell out of the Democrats that they are going to
lose their power and control. And that's why we're seeing
what we're seeing. And if it doesn't get stopped, we
probably are going to see a civil war or at
least a major civil uprising here in the country. And
of course, this is what the left wants, because if
the left can get their civil uprising and Donald Trump
has to somehow, you know, squash all of this, then
(59:19):
Donald Trump is the tyrant dictator. Say we told you,
We told you he's a dictator. Look what he did.
But I think the one thing that the Antifa crowds
really need to be aware of, it's not the military,
it's us, uber right, pack, All right, welcome back to
(59:57):
the Bride Rush Show here on Florida Man Radio. Thanks
so much for waking up with us that they appreciate it.
You know, in the chat a little bit, you guys
are kind of agree when it comes to this, this
potential violence that we will end up seeing to end
a lot of this issue, and Antifa's going to be
the problem. I really do believe that that is where
we're going to see the issue. And I kind of
(01:00:20):
wonder how this will go down because Antifa is a
bunch of cowards. They really truly are they are. They
are absolutely cowardice. And when you when you pay attention
to where things happened with Antifa, it's always in a
safe blue city. That's it. The one time and there
(01:00:41):
was literally one time and it was on video, the
one I was talking about where Antifa went into a
suburb and decided we're gonna we're gonna show how tough
we are and realize how not tough they are. Uh,
and they got kicked around. I don't think Antifa will
really truly get out to other places, but it was
gonna be interesting. Is where we eventually have our breaking point?
(01:01:06):
I mean, and will Antifa finally get the goal to
go beyond their safety zones? I think it's a good question.
By the way, it is a Red Friday where we
remember everyone who was deployed, including all of our ice
agents and our National Guard that is patrolling all over
the country trying to help make us safer and doing
(01:01:27):
a hell of a job at it. Two, of course,
Red Friday being brought to you by our friends at
America Charlie Grill and Tavern in Panama City Beach. But
I do wonder where we're gonna go, where we're gonna
end up. And Antifa, I think are the ones along
with and I think the ones that are that let
(01:01:48):
me let me actually rephrase this a little bit. As
much as the problem as Antifa is going to be
and they are, I think the ones that we may
have some issues with are going to be the terror cells,
not right away, because I think the terror cells are
gonna be doing the smart thing, and they're not gonna
(01:02:09):
go after the the red cities and the red districts.
They're gonna go after the blue stuff because fear, and
that's what you've got to get. You do that in
a red city, in a red area, you bring your
your terrorist activity in, You're not gonna you're not gonna
induce fear. You're gonna piss us off and that will
(01:02:32):
not be good because we will retaliate. And terrorists, they're
not dumb, they are smart people. They know how to
do it. They know how to get that message out there,
they know how to to generate the fear, and going
after red cities and red district not gonna work. So
(01:02:52):
you will see them go after areas like New York
and Chicago and Saint Louis and Portland and LA and
places like that, maybe a Washington, d C. Maybe an Orlando,
that type of thing. Now, Orlando wouldn't be a very
smart idea either, because while Orlando may be a very
(01:03:12):
heavy blue city here in the state of Florida, it's
surrounded by a whole lot of red. So the question, really,
I guess we have to ask is how far are
they going to be willing to go before we say
enough is enough? And I think it is inevitable. I
think there's going to be at some point in time.
(01:03:35):
Now what level it's going to be, I don't know.
I don't think it's going to be all that much.
I mean, sure, we make the joke about, oh, you
want to start a civil war, hang on, let me
order the pizza and then we'll go. Will it last long? No?
Probably not, Because you look at the Antifa people, they
are not They're not strong at all. They're very coward,
(01:03:59):
that's right, ap a mayor Antifa or Wooses, and they
really are. You watch them, they're they're the typical keyboard warriors.
And you see it every time that that they get
confronted and they they find out after they fad. You know,
like the kid that that was sitting there in front
(01:04:22):
of the ice agent saw this on video, one of
my favorite ones that I've seen yet, where he's just
F this and f U and F this and f
F and f F F f F like he's he's
super tough. Like somebody at one of these things went,
oh my god, you guys, if we just say the
F word all the time, we're gonna be so strong
and manly and it's gonna scare them. It's like, no,
(01:04:45):
that doesn't work. Doesn't work with me. You can f
all you want towards me, and I know how to
use it properly. But when when the agent finally got
to that point where he was ready to snap and
he spit on the agent and he grabbed him by
the throat and the clothing and yanked him back through
the line and you literally saw his shadows still standing there,
(01:05:05):
and they threw him onto the ground. And he is
no longer standing there next to his fellow keyboard warriors
who are being all tough, and he's by himself now
with these big, manly men who have now thrown him
to the ground, knocked the wind out of him, and
they are starting to cuff him, and he's realizing, I
screwed up. Not as tough as I thought I was.
(01:05:27):
I saw all of these videos of people that were
fighting with law enforcement, and I thought I was big
and tough, but I'm not. So it's not gonna do well.
And I would love to see the cannons come out,
the water cannons. That would be so great, not to mention,
it would give these people a bath. But it's gonna
(01:05:49):
be uh. I don't know if interesting is the right word,
but it's it's gonna be interesting to see how the
left really handles it when they go up against real men. Hell. Actually,
to be perfectly honest with you, guys, we could probably
sit though and out let our women handle it. I mean,
(01:06:09):
I've seen some women that they could probably handle these
Antifa guys. They act all tough until somebody bowls up
to them and engages, and then they're not as tough. Anymore.
But again, I think the biggest threat that we have
is the sleeper cells that we have in this country.
And we know that they're there because the FBI under
Biden admitted that they were there and we didn't find
(01:06:32):
active training sites. We found training sites that were there,
which means they trained and now they're sleeping and waiting
to come out. That's where it's going to get scary.
We'll be right back, all right, Welcome back to the
(01:07:02):
Brian Rush Show here at Florida Man Radio on this
Red Friday, where we remember everyone who is deployed, whether
it be an ice agent, border patrol agent, or if
it just happens to be one of our National Guards
somewhere that is out doing their duty to help keep
this country safe. And never thought we'd have to be
talking about all the agents that are spread around the
country internally to keep us safe. We always think about
(01:07:25):
our service members that are stationed around the world, which
again we love you guys and remember you guys and
think about you as well. Of course, it's all brought
to you by American Charlie's our friends right there on
the beach. Go out out and check them out. They
got new extended hours, new menu, the plicious menu, by
the way, I've had it a couple of times. It's
an improvement, it's a step up. They've also got what
(01:07:47):
was only the there's something like that. One of their
appetising things is like a chili cheese steak French fries.
Oh Jesus man, I just got fat thinking about it.
It's kind of good. Plus for the football season. Saturday,
Tomorrow and Sunday, they got the more TVs in there,
and a lot of great drink specials too, so go
check that out. We appreciate them sponsoring our Red Fridays
(01:08:08):
because it's important to remember those that are putting their
life on the line for what is important with our
freedom and our safety here in this nation. And as
our shutdown now enters data for thirty one, there's a
lot of talk about what's going on, a lot of blame.
Nobody wants to actually do anything. We've done thirteen votes
now and every time all but three, well all but
(01:08:30):
two Democrats are voting against it. It's all Donald Trump's fault.
Donald Trump's not doing a damn thing about it. He's
the one that can that can just do an executive
order and make it all go away, which is funny
because didn't we just go through that. We don't need
any kings. Donald Trump can't just unilaterally do whatever he
(01:08:52):
wants to do. He's not a king. He can't do that.
He's got to follow the law. Congress has got to
be able to do their job. Okay, Congress, do you job.
Speaker 6 (01:09:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
Oh, Donald Trump's not doing his job. He needs to
overthrow all of this. It's like, look, you can't have
it both ways. You just can't have it both ways.
By the way, speaking of kings, did anybody see the
UK going on over there? The King's kind of pissed
off at the Prime minister, and you know, the Prime
(01:09:21):
Minister recently just came out and he was trying to
say that, you know, we we allow the the monarchy
monarchy to exist and blah blah blah blah blah, and
the King essentially showed up and was like, no, I
just want to let you guys know that I allow
you to exist. So it's it's one of these things
where it's been what what are we on three hundred years?
(01:09:44):
More than that, I think it's more than three hundred
years now, of it's got to be more than three
years of the UK with the royal family of the
monarchy not having an ironclad fist control over over the
kingdom and that you know, it's kind of more of
a representative government now. But wouldn't that be something. And
(01:10:05):
if all of a sudden the king decides to revoke
that and say now we're not playing this anymore, I'm
in charge, that would be that would be something. But
we watch all the left get so upset with Donald
Trump for not getting in there, and the reality is
it's the Democrats. I mean, I don't know how you
can honestly sit here and say that it's the Republicans
(01:10:26):
that aren't doing it. Well. The Republicans are in charge
because the majority of the country said we want the
Republicans in charge, we want their Republicans in charge because
this is what we want. The Republicans delivered what we want.
Every single one of them voted for what we wanted.
Every single one of them voted to continue the resolution
of spending what we were spending last time and not
(01:10:48):
do an actual budget. They did it, but the Democrats didn't.
Thirteen times. By the way, if you haven't watched John
Thuns and I'm gonna use the term speech loosely. Each
or explosion that he had on the floor of the Senate,
it was pretty good putting them in their place. You
(01:11:08):
have had thirteen opportunities to open up the government, and
you won't do it. The Democrats will not open the
government thirteen opportunities. And when you have Chuck Schumer who
came with his original list of demands and then adds
on to it, you can't sit here and say that
it's the Republican's fault. But they do it. And even
(01:11:30):
Elon Omar, she was on CNN's The Arena, and she
responded to some questions as to why the Democrats have
changed their view that policy isn't a reason for the
government shutdown. When she was on, Omar had said that
the Republicans haven't talked with Democrats about ending the shutdown,
which is not true. But Casey Haunt had asked, but
(01:11:55):
isn't this the risk that the Democrats took, because oftentimes
Democrats have been defending the role of government and Republicans
in the past, Democrats have said policy is not a
reason to shut down the government. A policy fight is
not a reason to do it. Why is it different now,
at which point Omar was kind of like, I ain't
(01:12:17):
there's no vet or profia. But she came out and
she said, this is not a policy fight. This is
a healthcare crisis. Now we're back to this. But Hunt
kind of cut her off and said, but the fundamentally
this is this a fight over a healthcare policy. But oh, yeah,
I guess she's right. Omar responded, yeah, but we're going
(01:12:41):
to see people die in this country because they're not
able to provide health care for themselves and their their families.
I think that it is worthy fight for us to
be in. What I'm shocked by is the fact that
Republicans have chosen to say I don't care if you
lose your health care, have chosen to say I don't
care if you're going to lose a paycheck. I'm not
(01:13:02):
going to sit down with Democrats. I don't care if
your children go hungry, if you're disabled, or if you
can't feed yourself, I'm not going to sit down with Democrats.
We have always ended a shutdown because we realize that
it's important for us to sit down with our Republican counterparts,
because ultimately we are the ones that were in charge
(01:13:24):
now that you have Republicans who are in charge, thumbing
their noses that the American people and saying, I don't
want to sit down with the Democrats. I don't want
to negotiate with them. I don't want to find a
common ground and that is the biggest problem here. Well,
you know what, First off, no Republicans are saying that,
So you're absolutely full of it. Omar absolutely full of it.
(01:13:46):
And second, when you start talking about the Republicans that
came along with the Democrats when the Democrats were in
charge and there was a shutdown and the Republicans came in,
they didn't come in and say, okay, well we want
an additional one zo point five trillion dollars in spending.
We want to spend all of this money in LGBT
stoff for foreign countries, and we want to do this
for foreign countries and that for foreign countries. And if
(01:14:09):
we don't do that, then we're not gonna get we're
not going to open up the government. That's not what happened.
The Republicans went to the Democrats and basically did what
the Republicans normally do and saying.
Speaker 9 (01:14:20):
Okay, masters, what do we got to do? To be
able to open up the government. What do we have
to cave into you guys, Okay, we'll cave into that.
Let's you open the government up and for once. The
Republican Party has a set of balls on them and
they're not caving to the Democrats. But the Democrats because
of the fact that they think that they're in charge,
they think that they are more superior than anybody else.
(01:14:41):
Heaven forbid that the Republicans stand their ground. Heaven forbid
that the Republicans don't bow down to what we the
Democrats are demanding that you do. Well, the American people
demanded that we stopped playing this stupid game, and that's
what the republic plans are standing up to. Yeah, Omar
(01:15:04):
needs to be removed completely from the American soil. I
think Omar does at the very least, needs to be
investigated on her her ability to come to this country,
whether or not it was done correctly. And to be
honest with you, there's another thing that I saw that
I one hundred percent support, and I think this is
a very important thing because we have people that are
(01:15:26):
in elected office that have dual citizenship, and I think
that we should pass a law constitutional law, which means
it has to go through all the states and everything.
Do an amendment that states that you cannot have dual
citizenship and be in an elected office. And I don't
care if it's the President of the United States or
the damn dog catcher. If you have dual citizenship, you
(01:15:50):
should not be allowed to be an elected.
Speaker 5 (01:15:53):
Official in this country. Period. You either dedicate yourself to
this country or you don't, plain and simple. Corey Booker
also another one that is taking to the media. He
was on CNN yesterday and he claimed that he had
been surprised by the level of cruelty that the Republican leadership.
(01:16:18):
Dana Bash said to him, Democrats have been consistently voting
no on just keeping the government running, opening the government.
Are there some Democrats? Do you, sir, believe you voted no?
Bear some responsibility for endangering people's food aid. Now, again,
we talked about this earlier. There is a law. There's
an act that is out there that is supposed to
(01:16:39):
trigger when the continuing resolutions or a budget does not
get passed to continue to fund the snap programs. And
according to the law, that is supposed to take effect tonight.
So tomorrow ought to be there according to law. Now,
whether or not Donald Trump and the Republicans abide by that,
(01:17:01):
we'll see what happens tomorrow. But there is a law
on that. But Booker came out and said that, well,
you know, Donald Trump has said very bluntly that I'm
going to cause maximum pain, and so his intention really
is to use hunger as a political weapon. Really, because
it doesn't seem like it's Donald Trump that's out there
using hunger as a political weapon. When the Democrats realized
(01:17:25):
a few days ago that oh, you know, this whole
thing about healthcare, nobody really cares because there's such a
small percentage of the population that actually uses a lot
of health care. That's a real concern. So the majority
of the country is like a big deal. We changed
it to being oh my god, you're gonna go hungry,
You're gonna lose your food, your children are gonna go hungry,
(01:17:48):
Grandma and grandpa and mom and dad are gonna starve.
That sounds a lot more important. And that's what the
Democrats have brought on to use the maximum pain of
starvation to get their message across and to win their battle.
I haven't seen Donald Trump doing that. Where have you
seen Donald Trump going out there and saying things like
(01:18:09):
the only leverage that we have is to hurt the
American people and make them hungry. Because we had a
Democrat congresswoman who did say that Donald Trump hasn't done it.
Republicans haven't done it. Nobody on our side is out
there saying, oh, yeah, if we just starve these lefties,
then they'll cave into us. Because here's a reality. It's
(01:18:33):
not all lefties that are on food stamps. There's a
lot of people on our side that are also on
food assistance. So why would we do that to our
own people?
Speaker 4 (01:18:41):
And we're not.
Speaker 5 (01:18:43):
But this doesn't matter because as long as you get
on TV and you get in front of these cameras
and you say this stuff, if you say it over
and over again, your base starts to believe it. But
he said that, you know, he's using this as a
political weapon, the hunger of children, families disabled, which is
not true. They're using it. And Booker continues on to
(01:19:05):
say that it really striking to me, especially because we
do have the constitutional authority to use discretionary funds because
it's been done before us that us what is really
surprising me is the level of cruelty that is making
or marking Republican leadership right now, that they would put
(01:19:27):
children and families at risk during this fight. And then
he adds on that this is in America where Donald
Trump continues to pass bills that give billionaires in the
wealthiest corporation's tax breaks and cuts and guts school lunch programs.
They already cut a billion dollars out of SNAP payments,
that cuts Medicaid. And so I don't understand this level
(01:19:50):
of cruelty from the Republican Party right now, Corey Booker,
That's not what you don't understand. You don't understand a
lot of things. When the Republicans did doge and they
looked into all kinds of things and found the level
of corruption that was in Medicaid. There was about a
billion dollars of corruption in Medicaid.
Speaker 7 (01:20:12):
And what was it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
It was illegal aliens and able bodied people that are
supposed to do there twenty hours a month. Oh my god,
please don't make me work twenty hours a month in
order to benefit to get on these benefits, and they
weren't doing it. And the Republicans tried to get those
people kicked off, but the Democrats fought it. So the
Republicans said, screw it, We'll just cut the money. We'll
(01:20:37):
cut the money that is being spent on those who
are not supposed to be on it, and then let
the Democrats have to tell the people who are supposed
to be on it why there's cuts to services and
as far as the snap payments and cutting the money
out of that. Look, we are seeing again how many
people that are being on these programs that are not
supposed to be there. And when the Democrats won't stand
(01:20:59):
up and say, yeah, you're right, we should take the
people aren't supposed to be there off of it, the
Republicans look at it and say, I guess the only
way we have to do this is by cutting the money.
But the way that the Democrats continue to reform this question.
And then again the billionaires and wealthy corporations and the
tax breaks and tax cuts. Sure it sounds horrible, and look,
(01:21:23):
I would love to see, you know, those that make
a lot of money, you know, pay their fair share.
But you know what other thing is they do? Sure,
our tax system is set up so that there's a
bazillion loopholes where you can avoid paying taxes, and a
lot of times those are things like buy another airplane.
(01:21:43):
Oh that sounds horrible. Oh my god. They're wealthy, they're
buying another airplane. Sure, they may buy a fifty million
dollar airplane. But how many people are they providing jobs
for when they buy that airplane? A lot, I can
tell you, because that's the industry that I work in.
When the billionaires look at things and go, okay, well
(01:22:05):
I can get a tax cut and a tax break
if I donate a couple million dollars to a children's program.
Oh that's horrible. That's horrible, because now this children's program
is being given all these millions of dollars, and the
billionaires and millionaires they got a tax break. Oh it's
the worst ever. They're the only ones that benefit from it.
(01:22:26):
When the billionaires and the wealthy corporations get a little
bit of a tax break, what do they do? They
want to make more money. How do you make more money.
You're not going to make more money by simply getting
a tax break. You get more money by having a
little bit more money, spending a little bit more money,
growing the business, and you make more money, which, by
the way, also requires more employees, which, by the way,
(01:22:48):
is a benefit to the rest of the people. It's
a very simple concept. But the Democrats are so damn
stupid they can't comprehend it because the only thing that
they want to do is go out and find the pain.
How can we make it bad for people? How can
we scare people? By the way, right now, what are
the the very cool things that we're seeing? And I'm
(01:23:10):
seeing it around the country. One of the things we're
specifically seeing here in the Bay County, Florida area, and
I hope that other counties will also jump on this.
Right now, places like Panama City is postponing their water
bills for those that are government employees, federal government employees,
not local government, federal government and military. See, this is
(01:23:31):
the type of stuff that we can do to kind
of help out some people. And we're seeing some of
this stuff happen. But when we look at some of
the impacts that are also going to go on with
the government shutdown, one million government employees are not going
to get paid again today, million government employees not getting paid.
There are one point three million members in our military
(01:23:52):
that are risk of not getting paid now that there's
been you know, some private contributions that have gone into
There's been some money that's shifted around, and there are
going to be some members of our military that are
going to get paid. Some are not going to get paid.
There's the forty one million people that food assistants that
they claim will not be but according to the law,
(01:24:13):
it should kick in tonight to take it out of
the reserve fund to pay for that. So technically that
shouldn't happen tomorrow. And if tomorrow it does happen, where
the snap and all these other things are not funded
through the backup funds, that's when we do have to
say to the Republicans of Donald Trump, hey, there's a law,
(01:24:34):
why isn't this done. The other thing too, that the
left is really harping on too, is the fact that
the open enrollment for the Obamacare Act that also begins tomorrow,
which affects about twenty four million people, and we all
know it's not an affordable thing. And then there's also
the local economy and impacts, So there's a lot of
impacts that are going on there, and all of this
(01:24:56):
can be avoided if the Democrats would go to the
Republicans and negotiate and you guys are in the spot
where you don't hold the upper hand, so it is
time for you to say, Okay, listen, this is what
we want. We want to extend the benefits for the Obamacare. Okay,
if we vote open the government today, can we put
(01:25:18):
this into the process. Can we start to negotiate this,
can we work on this? And then the answer from
the Republican party on that should be yeah, absolutely. If
we pass to open the government today Monday, we will
start discussions about the Affordable Care Act, at which point,
by the way, the Republicans that also say yeah, let's
do this, but let's make it work, right, which they
(01:25:40):
haven't done. All Right, we got to take a quick break.
Don't forget that today is Red Friday. We remember everyone
who was deployed sponsored by our friends at American Charlie
Grill and Tavern. Give them a call of book your
holiday party. You won't regret that. Trust me. I've done
a couple of them there and they are awesome. We
got to take a quick break. We'll be right back.
Good morning, all right, welcome back to the Brian Rush
(01:26:17):
Show here on Florida Man Radio. And I read Friday
I brought to you by our friends in America, Charlie
Brill and Tavern. Go check them out right here at
Panama City Beach. Bring back the government cheese. Here's a
funny thing about the government cheese. I actually saw a
whole documentary on where government cheese actually came from. It's
kind of a typical government trying to do right yet
(01:26:42):
making a mistake and going, now, what do we do
the government cheese? In case you don't know the story
behind where all that came from. It It wasn't one
of those situations of oh my god, we need to
feed the people, let's feed them cheese.
Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
No.
Speaker 5 (01:26:54):
What happened was the government stemped in to save the
dairy farm industry because there is big problems with the
dairy farm industry. It was gonna go away, it was
all messed up. We couldn't let that happen because we
need to have our dairy. We can't let it go down.
So what do we do. Let's government fund it. So
(01:27:14):
we step in. We government fund the dairy industry for milk. Well,
now all of a sudden, we got too much milk.
Oh crap, what do we do now? I got an idea,
Let's make cheese. Okay, now we can't get it away.
We can't stop the funding of the cows. Well, now
we had too much milk. Now we're gonna make cheese.
So now they're funding the cheese manufacturing so that the
(01:27:37):
overproduction of milk will go to the cheese. And then
they overproduced cheese to the point where they were having
to put it in storage and underground facilities. And then
they went all, right, now we got all this cheese,
what do we do with the cheese? At which point
finally somebody goes, why don't we just give it to
the people. And that's where government cheese came from. It
(01:27:58):
wasn't one of those things where they thought, well if
we if we create government cheese, we can give it
to the people. No, it was one of those holy crap,
we got a lot of cheese. What do we do
with it? I give it to the poor. Okay, here
you go another example of government stepping in with a
bright idea only to create another problem. We gotta break
for the top of the hour. We'll be right back.
Good morning. This is the Brian Rush Show.
Speaker 2 (01:28:30):
Brian Rust's name, you know the brand line up the airways.
In this one, melting snowface. We're the fiery head talking truth.
You can't always stand show coast to coast. Got the facts,
(01:28:58):

Speaker 3 (01:29:00):
Deal on the change and give him a toast to
the man who roast the moods.
Speaker 1 (01:29:04):
Knock it off, It's.
Speaker 2 (01:29:05):
Rust on me, Burning rayelac Carera scenes, did you mind no?
Speaker 4 (01:29:11):
Don't free frame in the TSHO silver screen?
Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
The schwarts that sparked the flames.
Speaker 2 (01:29:26):
Nothing never stays the same, breaking down walls of shame.
Ryan Rust is here a claimed voices, rise of thing

Speaker 4 (01:29:43):
Battling in this war.
Speaker 2 (01:29:45):
Knock it off, it's rust on me, Burning raylac Carera scenes,
Did you mind no?
Speaker 4 (01:29:52):
Don't free frame? In the Tusho silver screen? The man.
Speaker 5 (01:30:06):
All right, Welcome back down number three the Brian Rush
Show here on Florida Man Radio. Don't forget to check
us out online at the Brian Rustshow dot com. It's
our official online home. You can find the links to
the video cast, links to the audio stream right here
in Florida Man Radio, and of course the podcast as well,
which big thanks everybody. Listening around the world or around
the country, not only on the stream but on the podcast.
(01:30:28):
We do appreciate it. And of course everybody watching on
Rumble and Wimken around the world and country as well,
we do appreciate you because we gotta spread the message.
We got to get the fight out there, because if
we don't continue to fight, we're gonna lose this battle.
And let me tell you, the battle is there to
save this country and to save freedom. Because remember, if
(01:30:50):
America falls, it's not just America. There's gonna be a
lot of other countries around the world that will also fall,
and there's a lot that's coming after after us, an
absolute lot. It's not just one enemy, it's multiple enemies,
and they're trying to take us down, and we got
to stop it. And of course we've got our problems
from within and with the shutdown now on day number
(01:31:11):
thirty one, as we get into, you know, right into
that territory of becoming the longest shutdown that we had
to remember, the longest one has been thirty five days,
So we only have a couple of days left before
we meet that. And at this point in time, doesn't
look like there's going to be any end in sight,
although it's an easy simple thing to do, just vote
for it and get it done. Six people, six people,
(01:31:36):
that's all it takes. Think about that million government employees,
one point three million military people, forty one million people
with food assistants. Six people. That's all it takes. Like
I know, the politicians are always like, oh, I want
to go down in history, and is somebody remembering me
(01:31:58):
be one of the six? You know, if you were
one of the six people today, you're gonna be called
because they'll they'll label you, because they always love to label.
They'll label you something like the magnificent Magnificent six or
the six heroes that reopen the government, and you will
(01:32:19):
go down in history as one of the six people
who voted to reopen the government to make sure that
our people get paid and that people don't get, you know,
start starving. Six people. And this is one of our
problems with government when we could boil down to that's
all it takes. Six people. Senator Ashley Moody from here
(01:32:44):
in Florida is now co sponsoring a bill that would
permanently eliminate government shutdowns. And to be honestly, they kind
of like this bill. Ashley Moody who's backing this legislation
to permanently end government shutdowns and saying that it is
determined to keep the federal government operating even when Congress
fails to pass funding bills on time. Yesterday, Ashley Moody
(01:33:08):
announced that she is co sponsoring the Eliminate Shutdowns Act,
which is a bill that was first introduced by Republican
Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, and it would create an automatic
funding extension if lawmakers miss annual budget deadlines. She said,
the government shutdowns do not serve the American people, cost
(01:33:30):
billions of dollars and harm to the US economy. Give
mine right now. It's estimated ten billion dollars. This has
affected people. She said that the Democrats have been holding
the American people hostage for more than twenty days now,
and each day that the Schumer shutdown continues is another
day that our troops, law enforcement officers, federal and essential
(01:33:52):
workers go without pay. She said, I'm working hard to
bring sanity to DC and that's why I'm coast sponsoring
the Eliminate Shutdowns Act, so our government can remain open
and the working can remain work open and for the
American people. The legislation, which was filed as a Senate
(01:34:13):
Bill two eight zero six, would automatically trigger a fourteen
day continuing resolution if Congress fails to pass appropriations bills
before the start of the new fiscal year and if
lawmakers still cannot reach funding deal after two weeks. The
resolution will renew every fourteen days until a full year
(01:34:34):
spending package is enacted, and under the bill, entitlement and
mandatory programs would continue to get their current levels, and
the Office of Management and Budgetment the OMB would maintain
authority to appropriation funds. During any lapse in appropriations, federal
agencies would shift up five percent of the funds between
(01:34:57):
accounts with congressional approval to event the disruptions of essential services.
I'm for it now. The question is going to be
who's going to be against it? Because this kind of
makes sense except for the fact that now you can't
use government shutdowns as a weapon. So you watch to
(01:35:19):
see who's going to not support this bill that Ashley
Moody has brought back forward that she has now co
sponsored on but a bill that would just make it
automatic if you don't get your job done. It continues
which I think is a great deal because it would
also free up Congress from this. And this has been
(01:35:43):
one of my gripes about Speaker Johnson is that Speaker Johnson,
they come back from their their August recess and went
right into uh, oh, we got to do a continuing resolution. No,
you need to do a budget. And I think if
if a bill like this passes, it would now put
pressure on Congress, specifically the House to no longer focus
(01:36:06):
on continuing resolutions, that you actually focus on doing a
balanced budget, something that this country has not had since
the mid nineties. We'll see how far this goes. You
know what, we need to get her on the show
next week. Put that down as a note. Well, we'll
have to call her and get around and talk about
(01:36:28):
that and see what kind of support she's getting. But
that's what we need. And as we're sitting here right
now with this tit for ted battle over the government
shutdown the House, at least the House Republicans have said,
all right, there's nothing for us to do, we're out,
and they've left, which I disagree with. I think that
the House really should be there to one start working
(01:36:50):
on the next continuing resolution because if they don't get
the bill passed for the budget, which is what they
should be working on right now, then we're going to
hit another continuing resolution and another potential government shut down
in about twenty one days, twenty two days, something like that,
because this continuing Resolution is only supposed to last until
like mid to or the like the end of November
(01:37:12):
before they have to do another one. And what is
the Republicans doing right now. Nothing? And this is the
opportunity to think that they're missing because remember never missed
an opportunity, to miss an opportunity that Speaker Johnson should
be getting the entire house together now and say, all right,
while the Senate is working on that continuing resolution to
(01:37:32):
pass that, let's work on the budget. Let's get it done,
let's have it ready, let's get it over there, let's
discuss all these things that we need to put in
it and take out of it and whatever else, and
get it done. And they're not doing it, but the
Senate while the one important thing that they need to
be doing right now is getting the government back open
because it all lays in the hands of the Democrats
(01:37:54):
and getting them to vote. The Senate did pass a
bill yesterday, they they passed a bill that is essentially
going to end Trump's global tariffs. So rather than looking
at what needs to be done, they're going after Donald Trump.
And I said this before, like shortly after Donald Trump
(01:38:15):
was was inaugurated, that you see all of these all
this support, you see all these senators, all these congress
people are like, oh my god, it's Donald Trump. We're
on Team Trump. This is so fantastic. Oh my god,
it's great. And I told you it was not gonna last.
I told you that they're going to start going against
Donald Trump. And and look the Republicans are. They're kind
of caving on this one. The Senate passed the bill
(01:38:38):
to revoke the National Emergency Declaration, which is used by
Trump as a legal basis for his basically his global
tariff measures, which by the way, are working. And yet
the Senate's like, no, got we gotta stop this. The
Senate voted fifty one to forty seven yes yesterday in
(01:39:00):
favor of the Joint Resolution, which is the SJA Resolution
eighty eight, which was introduced by the Senator Ron Wyden
of Oregon, Democrat. Four Republican senators joined the Democrats to
support this Bill, And I know these names are all
going to shock you, or are you ready? Susan Collins
of Maine, Mitch McConnell, Tater Todd, Lisa Murkowski, and then
(01:39:24):
Ran Paul Rand Paul. That one doesn't surprise me at
all because of where Ran Paul stands on on the
tariffs with Donald Trump. But the other three again absolutely
not a surprise. But this latest vote came shortly after
the Upper Chamber supported a bill to repeal the president's
fifty percent tariff on the Brazilian imports entering the United States.
(01:39:45):
Five Republican senators reached across the island that one to
vote with Democrat colleagues again because they cave, resulting in
the final Italian that one being fifty two to forty eight.
And back in August, the United States imposed a fifty
percent tariff on some resilient products, aiming to facilitate trade,
raprocity and regulatory alignment. And now the Democrats they get
(01:40:09):
their way and they take it away from Trump. And
what does this do. It empowers these countries to continue
to do the tariffs on us. Donald Trump is trying
to make it a fair level playing field. And again
these idiots in Congress, both the House and the Senate.
They don't understand it. And we see so many times
that these Republicans just cave to Democrats. It's like, guys,
(01:40:32):
do you understand that we the people have supported you,
We the people gave you the majority. Do what we
want you to do. This is why, in so many
ways I think we need what is it the fourteenth
I forget which amendment it is. Sorry, I'm not bad
on that one, but the amendment that we did that
allowed us to now vote, we the people vote for
(01:40:53):
our senators. We need to repeal it. We need to
repeal it. We need to go back to the days
of the state government. Our state representatives they get to
vote who our senators are, and they get to tell them,
we need you to do these things because this is
what the people are telling us. And if they fail
to do that, we recall them because now they've lost
(01:41:18):
that ability to because remember the government, the way it's
set up, the House of Representatives is supposed to represent
we the people individually peopled us. The Senate is supposed
to represent the states, and we've lost that. And now
we have senators who've been in there forever and they
continually cave into the other side. If there was pressure
(01:41:41):
on these people where we send you to Washington and
we want you to stand firm on this and you
don't and you cave and you go to the other side,
then we recall you when we replace you with somebody else.
That's the way it needs to be. This government needs
to get back to our very basics because they don't
listen to we the people. They've absolutely done doing that,
(01:42:04):
and it's got to stop. Sorry. I just I saw
somebody talking about food again in the comments. Guys, gotta
stop doing that. I am starving. And that's right talking
about Trump wanted to go to the nuclear option to
get the government open, and this is something that has
been talked about for about a week or so, throwing
(01:42:25):
that around, and the nuclear option basically is breaking the
filibuster and the Republicans just saying, all right, we're gonna
go with the fifty two to fifty four votes that
we get and that's it. We're gonna do it. If
it passes in the majority, then we open the government.
I think that's a bad idea. I think it's a
bad idea because it will make the Republican Party look
(01:42:47):
bad to the low information voters and again optics. Unfortunately,
this is how politics are nowadays. It's all about the optics.
And if the Republicans do do the nuclear option and
reopen the government and foodstamps role again, which they're supposed
tonight anyhow, by law, the military gets paid, the government
employees get paid, everything gets back and going, the enrollment
(01:43:09):
starts going, all the other government programs start going back
up and running. The Democrats can turn around and they
can say, see, we told you all along. This was
a Republican shutdown, and the Republicans had the ability to
open it back up. So I think that the Republicans
doing the nuclear option bad.
Speaker 7 (01:43:28):
Do not do it.
Speaker 5 (01:43:29):
Yes, it would reopen the government needs to be done,
but it would affect the Republicans in such a negative
way because the Democrats are good at using these weapons
and they will go after the Republicans in that form.
So it is time to continue to hold the Democrats
responsible for what they are doing, keep them as the
(01:43:50):
ones that are keeping the government shut down. And once
you do that and you force them to actually cave,
then you win. And the Republicans has done a great
job at it's so far but not caving, and I
hope they continue to do it. Term limits and the
Senators should be a high priority. Yeah, sort of. But
(01:44:11):
I like the idea of being able to go back
to the States saying no, you fed up, you didn't
do what we told you to do, your fired come back.
I think that's a much better way, much much better way,
because remember they're there for six years at a time,
so there's plenty of time to do whatever the hell
they want to do, and there's no consequences to it.
(01:44:32):
If it's one of these things where I go in
and I don't vote to open up the government and
Tallahassee calls me up and says, hey, I don't know
what you were thinking, but you're done now. We the
representatives of the Floridian people, have decided you're not representing
us anymore. Come home. We got somebody else going back there. Oh,
things would change when there are consequences for your actions,
(01:44:54):
things would change. And Beach lady, you're right. Republicans have
to hold the line, and they've got to do it
no matter how bad things get. They have to hold
the line because again, it's one of these things where
what's that food is more important than saving the country.
(01:45:14):
I agree, But here's the thing. Like I pointed out
on the show earlier, there is a law that has
been passed. It's an act that requires food assistance programs
to be funded through the reserve fund and that should
go into effect tonight. So if, in fact, tonight at midnight,
(01:45:37):
if it doesn't go ahead and fund the food assistant
programs for tomorrow, then that's one of those things where
the Democrats will be right and they can take this
to court and be right about it, and they can say, hey, Judge,
just want to let you know that here's the act
that says right here clearly that if we don't come
(01:46:01):
to an agreement that these programs are supposed to be
funded out of the backup reserves, the Republicans fail to
do it, the courts will have to say, yeah, they're
kind of right, fund it. So the idea of Americans
going to be starving because of the fact that they
don't reopen the government, there is a law that states
(01:46:23):
you have to fund it with the backup funds. So
if the if the food assistant programs do not get
refunded tomorrow through that, that is on Donald Trump and
the Republicans and they should be called out for it.
So we'll not have to see what happens with that,
to see what goes down. But aside from that, the
(01:46:44):
Republicans need to hold the line. And honestly, the Republicans
they may even know this, they may know that it's
supposed to automatically kick in. But again, the problem is
is that the Republicans don't get out there and get
that message out, you know, for all this this week,
then we're hearing, oh my god, the Republicans are trying
to starve everybody. Republicans should have come out and said,
(01:47:06):
oh hey, by the way, there is this contingency. It's
a snap contingency. It is called the hang on to say,
let me give it for you. The Agriculture Rule, Development,
Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. It
is the the US Code seven US Code two zero
two seven, which makes it so that the food programs,
(01:47:31):
the snap stuff has to be funded. There's six billion
dollars in the contingency fund right now, so technically legally
it should be funded. So that would not be the
Republicans caving. That would be the Republicans making sure that
people are fed. But Republicans should have been talking about
this all week. They should have been saying getting out
(01:47:52):
there and going, hey, look, the Republican or the Democrats
keep telling you that you guys are going to starve,
You're gonna go hungry. Don't worry about it. If we
don't get this agreed to by Friday, we have the
six billion dollars in the contingency fund to make sure
you're taking care of on Saturday, but they're not. And again,
if it doesn't happen by tomorrow, then yes, by all means,
(01:48:15):
go after the Republicans, go after Donald Trump and say, dude,
whiskey tago foxtrot, there's a law. Why are we not
following it? Tem boy, you're right one word messaging. All right,
we got to take a quick break. Don't forget. Today
is Red Friday. Will remember everyone who was deployed, which
includes our ice agents, our border patrol people, our National
(01:48:36):
Guard and so much more that are trying to keep
our country safe. All brought to you by our friends
at American Charlie Grill and Tavern. We will be right back,
(01:49:03):
all right, welcome back to the Brian Rush Show here
and all right now, Friday, hang on, be quiet, I'm talking.
I don't need you here, so I don't know what
that was all about. Welcome back to the show. It
is our Red Friday, brought to you by our friends
at America Charlie Grill and Tavern Dave. You have a
valid point on this one, which would be great if
we could do this the plan that Ashley Moody has
(01:49:25):
proposed or at least reintroduced, to make it so that
you know there's an automatic default continuing resolution should there
be a government shutdown. Say Moody needs to add a
caveat to that bill that Congress loses their pay until
it's done. And the fact that I've showed up to
my job and get to because they don't want to
(01:49:45):
do their job is total bs. And I agree. But
here's the problem is that that is requires a constitutional
amendment because constitutionally they got to get their paycheck. Now,
there have been a lot of Congress people, and honestly,
I think that we need to form a list on this.
I know that that Congressman Neil Done for Florida CD
(01:50:07):
two is one of many that has refused his paychecks,
has given it back and said no, do not pay
me until this is all done and over with. That
is an option that Congress has. Every member of Congress,
whether you're a congress or a House senator or House
representative or the Senate, you have the ability to tell
(01:50:30):
the payroll of people, hold my check, do not give
me money until we get things back up and running.
But that is something that an individual Congressman or senator
has to do. If they don't step up and do it,
they still get paid and it doesn't matter. So there
should be a list who's done it, who's done it,
(01:50:52):
and who hasn't who in the Senate and the Congress,
especially the Senate. Right now the Congress, the House, they've
done their job. But now in the Senate, how many
Senators are still taking their paycheck while the government is
not opened up and people who are government employees and
others are not getting paid. I think it's a legitimate thing,
(01:51:16):
and I think we should call out every single Senator,
regardless to whether or not they are Republican or Democrat,
and find out who is and is not taking their checks.
But is that true the CR automatically kick in if
Congress doesn't vote for I think that's again. I think
this is a great bill that Ashley Moody has reintroduced,
(01:51:38):
you co sponsoring it. It's something that Ron Johnson, another Republican,
has put forth. And I'm going to reach out to
Ashton Moody's people see if we can get her on
the show on Monday or Tuesday to talk about this
a little bit more and see what we can do,
because I think it's a great idea. It's an absolutely
great idea because it takes away the opportunity for a
continuing resolution and shut downs to be away, and it
(01:52:00):
might actually force them to do this. Are you ready?
Hang on, I'm going to shock you pass a budget.
Think about this. Just put things into perspective. Nineteen ninety six.
That is almost two and a half generations of people,
most millennials, all of Gen Z and all of Gen
(01:52:24):
Alpha have not been alive and have had a past
balanced budget here in America. That's embarrassing. All Right, we
gotta take a break. Doster Boys are on the way next.
We'll be right back. All right, Welcome back to the
(01:52:55):
Brian Russ Show. Hang on to say, I've moved some
things around, like on the visual aspect here of the show.
Hang on, let me put that right there. We can
tell this is Friday. It's that time of the day
the week though, that we bring back our friends, the
Duster Boys, hosts of America in View, which has heard
every Saturday morning right here on the Florida Man Radio. Boys,
(01:53:20):
welcome back to the show.
Speaker 8 (01:53:21):
How you guys doing, Hey, Brian doing great?
Speaker 7 (01:53:25):
Brian, Happy Halloween to you and all the beautiful Florida
Panhandle today.
Speaker 5 (01:53:29):
Yes, absolutely, thanks so much for coming back on.
Speaker 4 (01:53:31):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (01:53:31):
What are you guys going to be for Halloween? By
the way, I forgot to ask that.
Speaker 7 (01:53:36):
Yeah, so guess what I'm going to be a really
second rate talk radio show host today, you know, coming
in on the Brian Rush Show. Who's the magnificent star
who shows us how it's done?
Speaker 5 (01:53:48):
Well, you ruined my costume for the day. But that
sounds good. That sounds good.
Speaker 7 (01:53:51):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (01:53:55):
Anyhow.
Speaker 5 (01:53:55):
A lot of the things to talk about today. We
were in obviously, Danny with thirty one of the the shutdown.
We've been talking a lot about that. Today. We talked
a little bit about the the proposal that that Ashley
Moody has that she's co sponsoring bringing that one back up.
And by the way, thanks for also pointing out that
it was the seventeenth Amendment about the whole senator thing.
(01:54:18):
I forgot which one it was because there's so many
damn amendments you talk about them all the time, but
the seventeenth Amendment to bring the senators back underline of
the uh, the state government. What what's going on with
you guys, What what's tickling your fancy today?
Speaker 7 (01:54:30):
Well, I'll tell you what, Brian, We've got a lot
of things to talk about. There was a big trade
deal obviously with China that that occurred between Trump and
President Z of China this week. It's still trying hard
to figure out whether or not that was a win
for the United States. Trump is saying it to win.
I'll take him at his word for now. We also
(01:54:51):
are going to be talking about, of course we are here,
we are, you know, heading into this magnificent weekend with
no resolution on the government shutdown. I know you've already
been talking about that this morning, but I'll tell you what.
It seems like they're completely an impass. So because of that,
we're going to have on our show today congress Woman
Cat Camick from the Florida Big Bend region, and hopefully
(01:55:15):
she'll give us some insight on what she's seen and
whether they think it'll actually come to an agreement sometime
between now and Thanksgiving.
Speaker 5 (01:55:23):
Well, you know, if they would all just you know,
go and meet with AOC and get the negotiations done,
the government shutdown would have ended a long time ago.
So I mean, I don't know what we're waiting for.
Speaker 8 (01:55:35):
That's maybe the scariest Halloween image I can think of.
Speaker 4 (01:55:40):
Her.
Speaker 8 (01:55:40):
But yeah, well, yeah, no, the this, this uh, this
government shutdown is on the one hand, such a stunt,
and we are looking forward to talking to the congress
woman because she has a line that I love, which
is that it's it's not a shutdown, it's a shakedown.
And I think that's exactly where a lot of people
(01:56:02):
who are paying attention I feel like this is going.
But yeah, Brian, I loved hearing what you were saying
about the Ashley Moody bill a little bit earlier on
the show. There are people out there that are trying
to come up with wisdom and you know, kind of
grown up maturity on how we should deal with these
kinds of things. The pet peeve of mine was another
thing you were talking about, which is just Congress should
(01:56:25):
not get paid during these shutdowns. There's just absolutely no
reason for it. If other government employees are not getting paid,
there is absolutely no reason that members of Congress should
be getting their salaries. Senator Scott has made some noise
on this in the past, and I liked Senator Lindsay
Graham filed a constitutional amendment piece of legislation that would
(01:56:47):
do a constitutional amendment that would mandate during a shutdown
that Congress does not get paid. Of course, the hurdles
for those kinds of things to get passed are so high.
Nobody wants to actually pass this stuff. You know, you
make the noise with spiling this stuff, but then when
it comes time, I mean, if you can't get Congress
to pass a budget, you're not going to get them
(01:57:08):
to pass a pay cut on themselves.
Speaker 5 (01:57:10):
So yeah, right, they're all about that pay yeah that quickly.
And you're right, you know, when it comes to this
this thing to make this a constitutional amendment, and people
got to understand the complexity of this. It's got to
start in the House or the Senate, whichever. It's got
to go back to the other one. It's got to
pass in both, it's got to go to the president,
it's got to pass by two thirds majority. Then it's
(01:57:32):
got to go to all of the states. All of
the states have got to vote on it in the
next election or special election and whatever, and then two
thirds of the states have got to agree on it.
And if that doesn't happen, then it doesn't happen. But
it does have to pass the hurdle of you guys
aren't going to get paid and you have to agree
that we won't get paid if we don't do our job.
And they don't want to do that. They don't want
to admit that.
Speaker 8 (01:57:54):
The last thing they want to do. Yeah, they're not
going to They're not going to make that proactive move. So,
you know, we keep applying pressure in different ways and
just try to raise awareness that these guys are getting
their paychecks while a lot of other a lot of
other government employees are not. But yeah, the other thing
on the Senate, how we choose the senators. That is
another one we'd like to geek out on the structure
(01:58:14):
of government sometimes. Yeah, we should get back to where
senators are chosen by the state governments, not by elected
not by popular election. Which is counterintuitive to some people,
but I think if you're really really understand what representative
government's all about, that's the way it should work. The
House represents the people, the Senate represents the states, and
there could be a lot more leverage exerted over these
(01:58:35):
senators if it was done that way.
Speaker 5 (01:58:37):
Yeah, absolutely, because I mean on the state level, you
look at this. We have the ability every two years
to change out our state representatives and their state senators.
So it can be very very quickly. We can be
looking at our state representative and say, hey, listen, I
don't like what Rick Scott is doing. I don't like
what Mooney is doing. I don't like what they did
(01:58:57):
on this one particular thing. Recall them and they can
boom just like that, Recall them picking the phone, be like, yeah,
we just voted, you're done, pack your office, get out
of there. We can't do that now. And it's given
them this power and control. And you know, if they
do it in like year one or year two, where
they fold, they got another four years and everybody's gonna
forget about it, and then they're gonna reelect him, and
(01:59:18):
then we deal with the same stuff over and over again.
So maybe maybe in a readjustment of the seventeenth Amendment
and repealing that is probably a good idea. And you
know what, right now, let's do it. Let's get the
seventeenth Amendment and then add another amendment for the no
pay and we'll get it all into one election. Bang
bang boom, We're done. I like that idea.
Speaker 8 (01:59:38):
I love it. Let's do it.
Speaker 5 (01:59:39):
Yeah, and if we do it in the midterm, that's
the best time because the most dedicated voters are going
to be out in the midterm and they're the ones
that are gonna understand that bill and it'll pass.
Speaker 8 (01:59:51):
I like that absolutely.
Speaker 5 (01:59:53):
Yeah. Let's talk about some other things going on like
here in the state of Florida, and I love this.
We were talking about this off year a little bit,
and this is Ronda Santis' death row clean out. Uh,
this guy's on on on a roll. What is going
on with the governor?
Speaker 7 (02:00:10):
Yeah, he's literally he's literally on fire. Yeah, it's it's
pretty amazing. Yeah, it's pretty amazing. Brian. We haven't seen
a commitment of a dedication like this now. The one
thing I will say is that, you know, Florida has
always been a state that has taken crime very seriously,
and even going back to Governor Bob Graham, who is
(02:00:30):
a Democrat, you know, the governors have all been fairly consistent,
Democrat and Republican alike about carrying out their constitutional duty
to enforce the law and put the really bad guys
to death and put the other bad guys behind bars. Now,
with that being said, Ronda Santis seems to be committed
to cleaning out death row before he leaves. You would think,
(02:00:52):
on the one hand, some people I know or say, oh,
this is barbaric and this is terrible when you start
reading the profiles of what these guys did, what they
were convicted of, and how much money we've spent keeping
them on death row for the last twenty twenty five years. Look,
justice delayed is justice denied. And these families are getting
(02:01:13):
a massive amount of closure whenever they're loved ones, killers
and rapists and tortures. I mean, these guys are really
the worst and the worst finally come to meet their
due justice. And so I got to applaud the governor
on this, on making a commitment to get it done.
Speaker 5 (02:01:29):
I am too, And you know, I've always been somebody
who has looked at the death penalty as being a
very serious thing, and you want to make sure that
it's right because we have seen, you know, incidences where
somebody was wrongly accused and then got up to it.
But if we make those standards high enough prior to
getting to that point so that you know, we don't
(02:01:50):
have the innocent people or the people you know, maybe
not fully deserve it, get to that point, then when
we do decide that you have committed the crime and
this is the punishment, that we can get it done
and get it over with, because it's it's like it's
a double punishment. I mean, it's it's a punishment to
the families and the victims, and then it's a punishment
to we the tax payers because, like I said, millions
(02:02:11):
of dollars that we spend on keeping these people on
death row for the rest of their lives while they're
getting opportunity after opportunity to repeal, uh, just get it
done with. So I'm I'm kind of supporting Governor de
Santas on this, and maybe it'll also bring across a
point that you might want to think twice before doing
some of these bad stuff because in Florida, we'll stick
(02:02:32):
a needle in you.
Speaker 8 (02:02:33):
You're exactly sorry, go ahead, I'm trying to say. Yeah,
I was just going to say, Brian' exactly right about
the seriousness of it and the sort of the highest
standard that needs to be applied. I think one of
the one of the wins in our contemporary age is
just the so powerful the evidence can be and the
possibility of the DNA testing and some of the other
(02:02:53):
things that are going into law enforcement and criminal justice
these days. We're better at this point than we've ever
been in human history, probably in terms of being able
to determine who's actually guilty. And yeah, I mean anytime
there's anytime there's an error in criminal justice and you
hear some of the really bad horror stories of that,
you know, we want to fix that. We want to
(02:03:15):
we want to not go down that path. But these guys,
these guys get more than ample time for their appeals
to really reconsider not only the evidence but the law
and how it's been applied. And a lot of these
guys have been on death row for decades and decades,
and just just some actual realness to the penalty is
exactly what we need. So, you know, the governor carrying
(02:03:37):
that out is valuable and you're right, then it does.
It becomes something that's in the mind of these.
Speaker 7 (02:03:43):
Bad guys out there.
Speaker 8 (02:03:43):
Do they really want to commit these crimes when they're
faced with that kind of ultimate judgment.
Speaker 5 (02:03:49):
Yeah, yeah, actually have consequences, and we when we give
the consequences, it does make people rethink. I mean, when
when when you're not sure if you're going to get
a rested and spend the rest of your life somewhere,
or you know, if you make that ultimate decision to
make an ultimate crime that you're going to die as well.
I'm all for it. I mean, the strong law enforcement
with penalties is what we need. And unfortunately democrats around
(02:04:11):
the country kind of feel opposite on a lot of that.
So props to the governor for getting that cleaned up,
because it really truly does need to get done, and
the Governor's trying to get a lot of other great
things done here in the state of Florida. Another big
one that is that is being proposed and talked about
is the no Sharia law, which we talked about that
last week, and it's one of these things where I
(02:04:32):
don't even think that we should be forced to have
to talk about this. But you know, here we are,
we we got to talk about it, and it shouldn't
be a thing. But you know, the state of Florida
we're looking at, you know, banning sharia law.
Speaker 7 (02:04:44):
Yeah, that's right. It's actually an initiative that is controversial
only because we've seen it sort of played out in
real time in the great state of Michigan, and you
know there, I mean, you can imagine if there were
you know, say orthodox Jewish groups, or let's just say,
(02:05:06):
you know, even you know, hardcore evangelical groups said hey,
we want to implement you know, the exact rules and
regulations of the Old Testament. You know, let's start raising
some eyebrows immediately because there's some penalties in there that
people say, well, you know, we live in a new
age now or a new era. Uh. The problem with
sharia law, Brian, just to go, you know, directly to
(02:05:27):
the heart of the matter, is it's it's based on
a religion that when it's carried out to its fullest extent,
like you're, carried out very very practically, it does not
align with the freedoms and the recognitions of the rights
of man has laid out in the Constitution that are
God given. By the way we hold these things to
(02:05:47):
be God given, it's a different mentality and it really
can crease some big time problems. So there has been
an effort in some communities, especially the city council level,
where there has been a large population of fundamentalist Islamic communities,
and they have attempted to apply this law, and they've
(02:06:09):
attempted to pass this law onto legal code, and we're
saying no, not in the state of far We're not
going to do that. The Constitution still reigns supreme.
Speaker 5 (02:06:17):
Yeah, and that actually should be done on a national
level and not on the state level. And you know,
when you start talking a little bit about Shria law,
some of the things just just to give people an
idea of how ridiculous a lot of this is. And
people don't talk about this very often. In the United States,
there's about, i think it was like twenty five twenty
seven annually honor killings that happen now granted work nation
(02:06:40):
of three hundred and sixty million people, and there's murders
that happen every day, but an honor killing, so people
understand what it is. An honor killing would be if
your daughter disrespects the family by dating somebody outside of
the Islamic religion, or doesn't where the proper clothing or
(02:07:01):
whatever it might be, or in an innocent case, is
raped by a criminal that dishonors the family and they
do an honor killing and kill her. These are things
that are happening here in the United States of America
because they think that they can adhere to Sharia law.
I mean, that is the level of ridiculousness when it
(02:07:22):
comes to Sharia, and that's why we need to fight
something like that.
Speaker 8 (02:07:24):
Yeah, that is nuts, Brian, and I'm glad that you
shared that. I had not heard that data point. So
it's something that everybody needs to be aware of of.
You know, what's going on this is this is just
part of the whole struggle of our nation as a
place that has immigration, legal immigration, people of different thoughts
and faiths. But we have to be we have to
(02:07:46):
stand strong on the kind of core principles and the
core constitutional values that we're going to have. We can
accommodate people of different backgrounds, of different faiths, but when
it comes to the enforcement of the law, I mean,
we've got to be we got to shoot right. We've
got to be consistent. We've got to be American, as
Brett was saying, stick to the constitutional principles that outline
(02:08:07):
this country. And so yeah, we I mean that's that's
just something in every state, every city, in the federal
government as well. We've got to have clarity and real
purpose on It makes me think actually there was a
little bit off topic, but there was a revision to
the citizenship test that under the Trump administration is being
put in place. It's more rigorous, there are more questions,
and it gets more into like the history of our founding,
(02:08:31):
which I took one of the ones online recently. I
just wanted to see how I would do. And I
missed one question.
Speaker 7 (02:08:38):
I was.
Speaker 8 (02:08:38):
I was chagrined to have to report that, but I
did miss one question. It was it was the what
was the year of the amendment that for women's suffrage?
And I was off by a year.
Speaker 5 (02:08:50):
Otherwise I don't think I could even tell you that one,
be honest, I don't. I couldn't at the top. I'd
have the research that myself.
Speaker 8 (02:08:58):
It tripped me up.
Speaker 5 (02:08:59):
Yeah, I bet, yeah, I mean, I'm all for making
that a little bit tougher because we gotta protect the
country a little more. And of course the problems that
we have now with the Muslim Islamic fundamentalists that we
have here in the country all really kind of started
with Obama when he was clumping people into particular communities
(02:09:20):
when they would bring people and this continued in the
Biden administration where they would clump them. You know, we're
a melting pot, and we can't be a melting pot
if you clump everybody into one area. And I think
that was an intentional thing by Obama to achieve the
goals that he's doing. And now we've got these clumps
that we just can't break up, and you know, get
(02:09:42):
into the melting pot that America really truly is.
Speaker 7 (02:09:46):
When you start with the notion that America was founded
by these horrible white men colonialists who subjugated the basically
all the people of color and all the people with
a non wish in religion to the boot of their tyranny.
When that's your notion, when that's your notion of what
America is, then you basically do those types of things
(02:10:08):
to try to unline that and to break that down.
I mean, so when you and I and others have
made the allegation that these lefties, including the Obama's, we're
really setting out on a path of up ending America
and causing great chaos because they wanted to break it down,
destroy it, and start all over. You're not far off, Bryan.
Nobody's far off when they say that, because that's exactly
(02:10:29):
what they're trying to do. And so we do have
to guard the culture. We got to guard the fact
that we have the greatest country that's ever been created
since the foundation of the earth. It is based on
scriptural principles of freedom. The God has granted freedom to mankind,
and there's certain inalienable rights that we have, life, liberty,
property that we you know, we essentially found the government
(02:10:53):
to protect those things and to restrain evil. We don't
create a government to exert rule and tell our people
what to do. Yeah, and it's a dramatically different worldview
from what you'll find in the Middle East. And so
we've got to be on guard.
Speaker 5 (02:11:07):
Yeah, we really do. And you know, the reality too
behind this is that we say, oh, it was Obama,
you always say it was Biden, but it really wasn't.
They were just the face of the movement that it
was behind both of them and wanting to do this
because it is a one World Order kind of group
that really truly wants to do this and destroy America.
(02:11:29):
And it's the same group, maybe different people, but there's
still the same group that had been pushing this since
the formation of our country when we said, hey, we're
not going to live under this one world order and
under you tyrants. We're going to do it differently, and
they've been finding us ever since. So coming up tomorrow
on the show America in View, which is again heard
(02:11:51):
right here on Florida Man Radio twelve nuone, Cat Camac
is going to be on. Make sure you tell her.
I said, hello, we've been working on a scheduling her
on the show, but she had been pregnant and had
a baby and everything, so she was a little bit busy.
So hopefully now we can get her on the show.
What else you guys talking about tomorrow?
Speaker 8 (02:12:06):
Yeah, we're also going to be talking with Randy Ray,
who's the head of Senior Consumers of America. I know
he's been a guest for you in the past, Brian,
great guests, but yeah, he likes to talk about everything
that's gone on with property insurance, trying to get those
rates coming down, and just the importance of the lawsuit
reform measures that the governor and the legislature have passed
the last couple of years. There's really some good news
(02:12:28):
coming out of the insurance market. This past week, five
auto insurances have announced lower rates, and now to date
thirty three property insurers in the state of Florida have
as well. I know those rates aren't changing as quickly
as a lot of Floridians would like, but there is
progress good and so we're gonna talk about that and
report on that as well.
Speaker 5 (02:12:49):
Awesome. That's a great conversation people that I need to
find out about that. Matt Brett Dosterer, host of America
in View. You could check him out online at Americaanview
dot com and of course every Saturday at twelve noon
right here on Florida Man Radio. Boys always love our
conversations and I can't wait for that invite of Hey,
we would really love to have you on the show.
I'm just throwing that out there, just saying comment uh huh, yeah,
(02:13:14):
just like that that relationship. She keeps saying that, yeah,
we'll go out to one day. Sure, I love you guys.
Have a great Halloween. Don't get into too much trouble
and ease up on the candy tonight because it's not
good for your teeth.
Speaker 7 (02:13:25):
Yeah, I don't think Brian. You guys have a great Halloween.
Speaker 5 (02:13:28):
Man. All right, guys, we'll talk to you guys later
on the Doster Brothers from America in View again, heard
every Saturday right here at twelve noon on Florida Man Radio.
We got to take a quick break. Remember today is
