Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It is Friday, and I guess you'd say it's frozen
Friday because the winter is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Now it's time for the Chad Action News weather Reports.
When weather weathers, we weather the storm, and we're gonna
be weathering. The storm is gonna be quite a lot

(00:34):
of storming going on through well the northeast, into the southeast,
parts of the Midwest, parts of even some of the Southwest.
Let's just say it's gonna be cold and in some
places snowy.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Cruise now racing to restore power for hundreds of thousands
from Texas to Tennessee.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
We first met trucker Derry and Williams yesterday when he
was stranded along an icy Interstate twenty two feast of Memphis.
This morning, after a second night in his truck, he
was still waiting for a toe.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Oh completely still. I ran completely out of fuel.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Late today, Darien's still figuring out how to get his
truck moving again.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
He's one of many. Now, I'll tell you I'm out
here in Nashville. We have Nashville Electric Service nes They
have not only dropped the ball that it's becoming national
story how bad it has become. There are four hundred
and seventy thousand customers they have Last weekend, half of

(01:34):
those customers were without power. Currently, it's probably right around
eighty ish thousand, give or take, still without power. And
this had nothing to do with the grid and all
to do with piss poor management, which is starting to
cause deaths. They found another person yesterday whose generator ran

(01:55):
out of gas. It was an older gentleman, but he
had died. And I think there's going to be more,
especially with what is happening this weekend weather wise, and
that weather is going to be cold, someplace snowy, a
lot of places just frozen.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Let's talk about that next system and the cold which
is going to be widespread. If we've got all these
cold weather alerts and cold weather warnings all the way
down to Florida twenty thirty some cases forty degrees below
average Miami, you'll see the coldness air you've seen since
twenty ten comes Sunday. But the winter storm warnings are
already up for eastern Tennessee and parts of Virginia and

(02:31):
the Carolinas. That will be expanded during the day tomorrow.
Win US up to fifty sixty five miles per hour.
Strong upper level energy is going to kind of trigger
a coastal low, good old fashioned Northeastern that rail will
fill in during the day tomorrow blizzard conditions potentially along
the outer Banks and then missing New York and much
of the big cities, including Boston. But it looks like

(02:52):
eastern mass will get clipped with this as well. As
far as how much snow, we expect to see six
to twelve inches in spots across North Carolina on Virginia
that's certainly possible, maybe more in some spots, and two
to six potentially across parts of eastern Massachusetts. But regardless
of how much snow you get, the cold is gonna
be with us. It will be brutally cold, relatively speaking,

(03:14):
right through the weekend, in some cases right through next week.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, so it's gonna be brutally cold. We're fortunate here.
We may get a dusting of snow, but we're not
gonna get is what caused a lot of these issues
across especially parts of the South, which was that freezing
rain that came after that big front that moved through.
But this is a coast to coast issue, And there's
gonna be a lot of weather weathering this weekend, and

(03:39):
we're going to keep you abreast of all those weather
weathering things that are going on out there. Meanwhile, are
we getting a new FED chair?

Speaker 6 (03:47):
What?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah? Trump made announcement.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
President Trump announced on social media he's nominating Kevin Walsh
to be the next chair of the Federal Reserve, writing
that he's known him for a long time and has
no doubt that quote he will go down as one
of the great FED chairman or are served on the
Fed's Board of Governors from two thousand and six to
twenty eleven.

Speaker 8 (04:05):
He was a top advisor to then FED Chairman Ben
Bernanke during the two thousand and eight financial crisis, serving
as a liaison between the Central Bank and Wall Street.
The President has been very critical of current FED chair
Jerome Powell, putting pressure on Powell to lower interest rates.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I thought it was going to be Kevin Hassett because
he just looks like a fun But this guy. They
like this guy because he was up for it last
time and he didn't get it. He's been on the
board before, and Trump likes him because he's been saying
what we need to have regime change. When it comes
to the FED, we need to have regime change, regime change,

(04:44):
and so we'll see if he gets it, because there
are several even Republicans that say they're not voting for
anything until they drop the investigation and whatnot on Powell.
Otherwise nobody's gonna get through. So well, this will be
interesting to see. Speaking of regime change kids, speaking of that,
could it happen this weekend? Is it possible that the

(05:07):
regime change could take place in Iran.

Speaker 9 (05:11):
Warning that time is running out to reach a nuclear
deal and threatening a US attack even worse than the
one last summer. Now, the US has been building up
military assets in the region, but a senior official says
the president hopes to settle things diplomatically.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I don't know what that looks like. What Okay, here's
the thing. They talk regime change. I mean, that's what
they want. So what's the diplomatic solution because I don't
think they are going to do whatever Trump wants. And
let's not forget Israel in all of this. So yesterday

(05:52):
hit up our buddy Mike Lions, military analysts out there
in the great military world. He's out there in DC
and I said, Mike, what's going on. Someth going to
happen here? And this is what he kind of you know,
I said, are we going to attack sometime soon? And
he said, yeah, I think there's a chance over the
weekend they might strike first if we do a naval

(06:12):
blockade of horm moves, and if that happens, all possibilities
are open. That's a big if because we could also
do the you know something back to them in a
harror move. I mean, there's there's a lot that could
go on here, and everybody recognized that that. Now let's
find out what the possibilities are because there are several

(06:35):
that could play out in this situation.

Speaker 10 (06:38):
So what could happen if the US does attack Iran?
Here are seven possible scenarios. One, the regime collapses and
after a short period there is an eventual transition to democracy.
That's the best possible outcome.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Where that's never happening. That isn't the regime is not
collapsing in the way that we would think that it
would all fall apart, No shots are fired, Nobody jumping
over and down, yeay that that that that's not happening.

Speaker 10 (07:03):
Iranians get freedom, we joined the rest of the world.
Fairly unlikely, but possible. Second possibility, the regime survives, but
rather like Venezuela, it loses some people, but it carries
on and it's forced to moderate its behavior, both in
terms of cutting back on its nuclear and its regional
ambitions and not crushing democracy protests as much.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Again, I that one's maybe a possibility. Maybe, but this
is what I always say. Right, let's just say you decapitate, right,
what do you think that there's nobody behind him? And
what do we always say? Everybody always thinks the next
guy is going to be the good guy, could be
a far worse guy. So A and B probably not gonna.

Speaker 10 (07:47):
Happen, a little bit optimistic. Third possibility, effectively, a military coup.
The Iatolis are no longer in charge, but the Iranian
Revolutionary Guard's Corps that has protected them and supported them,
they now take over. That's fairly likely.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Okay, Now here's the issue with that. How does that
actually play out? The military and this is the republic
Gard Republic Guard, so this is there there that special
group that protects all the Iatolas and the higher ups.
That's what Mike has talked about that The best case
scenario in this situation is you would have to see

(08:25):
if this is actually going to be, you know, because
otherwise they could run the country however they want. I mean,
you're gonna go from a you know, an authoritarian theocracy
to just an authoritarian, military run country potentially, hmm, that's
that's that. I don't know about that. But if the military, right,
not the the the guard gets involved, that could change

(08:49):
some of that.

Speaker 10 (08:50):
At least if there is a devastating blow and the
regime collapses. Then there are different ways that it could
go quite badly wrong. Iran still got a lot of blistics.
It could lash out and far these at the neighboring
countries in the region Jordan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, kata Yui,
and it could also try to mine the Strait of

(09:10):
horr moves, restricting the flow of oil, damaging world trade.
And it could also try and sink a US warship,
which would infuriate Donald Trump and that would probably generate
a much bigger war. Finally, there is the possibility that
if this attack is sustained and devastating on Iran, it
could lead to chaos in that country and a massive
refugee crisis.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
That's my biggest fear. My biggest fear is it becomes
a broken down battle between the Republican Guard and who
is taking on. Hopefully at that point in time, if
you know, if they're trying to continue to kill protesters,
they then you know, the military goes, no, We're not
going to allow this anymore. These are our people, this

(09:52):
is us, and they turn on them, and then it
devolves into Syria Libya, but maybe not as bad. I
don't I mean again, I don't know what that looks
like and how far they're willing to go, because this
is more military in a battle compared to having you know,
groups of military and then war you know, war lords,

(10:13):
and then you know the ISIS and al Qaeda and
all of the So this, this all has the the
the smell of something that all are the worst best
ideas we have. But Trump paid in himself into a
bit of a corner. And that corner is he said,
we're coming for you and and and and we're going

(10:34):
to protect those people out there. And those people, by
the way, are are picking up the protest again. And
I have a feeling this could get ugly, and God,
I hope it doesn't. I hope it doesn't. I hope
that cooler commer heads prevail. But I don't see them
staying in power and doing what the West wants, which
is what the West wants, which is them leaving and

(10:57):
somebody coming into power who will do what the West swants.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty three.
At you I'd been to show? Is your act, your Insta,
your YouTube and war. So much stuff to get today.
A lot of fun stuff. Okay, all right, some fun stuff.
We got our finally Friday Sounds coming up. We talk
a little bit about Melodia's movie that's coming out this weekend.
The amount of money they spent on this is insane.

(11:19):
We talk a bit about that. On top of that,
our buddy sat Abram, chievestment officer Board Capital, is going
to join the program. Among other things, we got the
Monk Walk up date and so many other things. Relief Factor,
It's incredible. I take it every single day, and I
think you should give it a try. If you struggle
with aches and pains in your body, in particular, things
like your muscles, right you know, I mean it could

(11:40):
be just from your just your daily. You know, sitting
too long, up and down, you walk upstairs, you get
home and you feel exhausted and you're sore. Try this.
Inflammation is nasty and Relief Factor combats it. It is amazing.
When it has done for me and my wife, we
feel a thousand times better. And I'm telling you guys

(12:01):
right now, you try this, you're going to be blown away.

All right, coming up a lot of good stuff today.

how they're over it. And it has a lot more
to do with the parents than the kids. We're going

(12:42):

Trump is suing America. So that's always nice. Every day
it's something new. Drinking from a fire hose, my friends

It's a portion of the program where we take a
listen back to the chaos, the craziness, the lunacy that
was this week and just this week alone.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
Josh McDaniel sends New England to the super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
That's gonna do it.

Speaker 11 (13:25):
To see Hawks sore to super Bowl sixty.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
They should be embarrassed.

Speaker 12 (13:30):
There's no reason not to put Bill bell Check in
a Hall of It.

Speaker 13 (13:33):
If he's not a first power of Hall Fame, there's
really no coach that should ever be.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I'm not a hundred dollars walking me my batifole.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I know how I say.

Speaker 14 (13:42):
Anybody's burning a hold, I through my bargeting and do
my skim I'm on the morning, I'll be brown. It's
fine Fiday. I'm freeing here. I'm done my motor running
bow again.

Speaker 15 (13:58):
It's fine that.

Speaker 16 (14:05):
When someone says to me, like pregnant people, I do
go well, be better to be like pregnant women.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
And Dave, could you just take a step back.

Speaker 17 (14:13):
Nervous the new suggestion is a giant three D hologram,
which one Philadelphia Inquire, a calumnist, described as both adorable
and terrifying.

Speaker 14 (14:22):
It's my motor woman's.

Speaker 13 (14:36):
There was an article saying height has become the big
boobs of our generation.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
From them, height preferences are killing modern dating.

Speaker 11 (14:45):
I don't care. Cleaning golf in the United States is
fascist behavior, using up all the water, using up all
the land.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
It is real.

Speaker 18 (14:53):
Sashy Windyana, thirty hours, slowly tunity.

Speaker 14 (15:09):
I'm freak running against.

Speaker 19 (15:23):
Cool weather alerts Texas all the way up into Michigan
then back down into Florida.

Speaker 20 (15:27):
More than eleven thousand cancelations across the country today.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Very slippery right now. So it's making a job and
it quite difficult actually, and.

Speaker 21 (15:36):
We almost uh went off the road ourselves into a ditch.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
I think the administration could do better immediately. When an
incident like this happens, they come out guns blazing. We
took out a violet terrorist, kay, and I'm staying for
the problems gone.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Oh Tom moment right there, very strong, very strong, indeed,
three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta,
your YouTube and more famous city show. Grab that podcast
right here on the Chad Benson Show. So you know
what's interesting. We're gonna maybe have a shut shut shutdown again.
Already didn't we just yeah, yeah, we may get there again.

(16:18):
Remember everything they do is piecemealed together for the most part,
and that was temporary. This is the new thing they've
put out there. Okay. Now, whether or not it gets
done at always, it's a crapshoot.

Speaker 22 (16:32):
Senate Democrats say they have reached a short term deal
with Republicans to keep the government open for now. President
Trump endorsed this deal. Senate Democrats were refusing to keep
the government funded until the Trump administration agreed to rain
in their immigration crackdown, including requiring ICE officers to wear
body cameras and remove their mass ending roving immigration patrols,
and requiring agents to follow the same rules as state

(16:54):
and local law enforcement. This short term deal will allow
lawmakers time to negotiate those issues.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
And the way that this would work, so the government
shut down to avoid it. The way it would work,
They're not gonna fund DHS and ICE. They're gonna keep
funding at its level till the thirteenth of February. So
they're gonna kick that out. They're gonna fund everything else
so they can negotiate DHS and ICE and the funding

(17:21):
with that because there are things that obviously the Democrats
want and there are things that Republicans are going to
insist upon. So we'll see if this gets done or not.
It won't last forty five days. I don't think so,
not this time. If you missed the show, grab the podcast.
This is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Fun Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
All right, we should start doing a thing called the
Meltdown of the Week because for all the chaos that's
going on in Minnesota, and we've talked about it, and
we'll talk a little bit more about later. I'm sure this, Lady, Republicans,
as bad as you guys can be at times, and
a lot of times, as frustrated as how I am,
I always remind everybody the reason that you're still in power,
even for a lot of the times that you messed

(18:22):
up up is because of this. This right here sums
up so much of the uber progressive liberal mindset. Now
I'm not talking about the average Democrat, right, the average
Democrat that that that is not this, you know, that's
that you know, wants a border that's closed, but wants

(18:44):
you know, not to throw everybody out of here. That's
a union kind of Democrat, that Middle America Democrat, you know,
you know, like the Reagan Democrats. I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about what seems to be the dominant force
and voice all too often in the And I'm telling you, guys,
I worked hard at this, all right, so be nice

(19:06):
all too often as we do our crazy, you know,
white woman Wednesday. This may be the greatest white woman,
but it's a Friday. It is a Friday freakout, like
you could. That's what we're calling this now, Friday Friday freakout.
You got that? There? Are you ready? Now? I'm gonna
tell you guys this. I worked hard at this, and
I paint the picture, and I'm gonna do a video

(19:26):
about this a little bit later that you can see.
This lady is in her car. She's a bigger goal.
She's got like a skull cap on, you know, and
it's she's in Minnesota and she's driving, and she's got
her sunglasses on and she's filming herself because that's safe.

(19:49):
And uh, let's just I'm gonna play some of it.
We're gonna stop along the way. And by the way,
I have a countdown of how many beeps I had
to use in two minutes and seven seconds and it
is a world record. She's upset with ice. Okay, so
here's your Friday freak out.

Speaker 23 (20:11):
Unbelievable that this is where country is.

Speaker 24 (20:16):
This is our country, the land of the free, not
land of the white people.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
What she's she's building up? Now, Okay, I want you
guys to understand. She's she's building up. So she's she's
she's building herself up to her freak out. She's she's
you can feel it start to to the more. It's
like Hulk, right, Like the the more that he you
go after him, the angry here he gets, the more
that you hurt him, the angry it's it's this is

(20:47):
what this is? Continue What is wrong with people?

Speaker 14 (20:56):
What is wrong?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
This is America?

Speaker 20 (21:00):
America?

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Are we creating at to make America great?

Speaker 11 (21:05):
And that is what you want?

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Do you know what? My brow baby is here either?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Do you you dump what I cried?

Speaker 21 (21:14):
Then?

Speaker 2 (21:15):
The girl Okay, she's really picking it up. So we
don't wonder brown babies here and then when I cried
dead here to go, like and she's like she's possessed.
You could see in her face, and and it's it's
got the it's got the you can tell that. It's like,
I'm off my you know whatever drug I'm on right now,
because it's really picking up and she's going up and
down and and it's it's it's becoming the Hulk. It is,

(21:37):
it is, but like without all the cool stuff.

Speaker 17 (21:39):
The girl.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
That is why I cried. So ten years ago she
cried because Trump. Ten years ago, I cried, continue, that
is why I cried.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
This is why we're fucking.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
The hot mess because what you saw this coming?

Speaker 24 (21:58):
And now you mother, there's I say, silent, okay, but
now they just shot a white man, a thirty seven
year old white man.

Speaker 23 (22:06):
Oh but you know what, he was probably a liberal terrorist, right,
some mega mega all you motherfuckers, they're okay.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
With that, right, Okay. So she's she's she's the ebbs
and flows, the ebs and flows in her soul. Right,
she's up, she's down, she's up, she's down, she's up,
she's down, she's up, she's going, she's going, she's going
take a deep breath, breathing in, breathing, and she's got
a long way ago. She still was fifty five seconds.
And I'm telling you, guys, I've got my counter here

(22:34):
on how many f bombs and whatnot I had to.
We're not done. Two minutes seven seconds world record.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
You okay with that?

Speaker 23 (22:42):
I've cut most of you, mother Mega, That's out of
my life a long time ago. But I'm here to
tell you you want to with ice people, you want
to vote for feeding people that think that this shit
is okay, attacking our state, Our government is under attack.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
She's picked it back up again. So it's like a
roller coaster ride. It is. It's a roller coaster ride.
It's up, it's down, it's up, it's down, it's up.
It is. It's for all of us. I'm a little
anxious about it. First of all, I had to you know,
I'm still double checking that I got all the beeps.
I spent a lot of time on this, okay, So
be nice against our neighbors, our college roommates, our teachers,

(23:26):
our fecking policemen are try to take a deep breath,
right there. I got a double check here, I'm getting
my counter ready because there's a lot of account going on.
We're not done. We said, twenty six seconds of beeps.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Men are small business owners.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
They're attacking all of us.

Speaker 24 (23:43):
I hate all of you who voted for this, and
I hate every single one of you who is the
state silent even anymore. If you support this, that means
you do not support me and my brown husband and
my brown children because you want them America white again.
I hope you're happy.

Speaker 12 (24:04):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
I don't even know what to say. That was spectacular.
And by the way, we don't want to make America
white again. It's branding and it just it didn't go well.
It's got to roll off the tongue. You ate my
brown babies? What what are you talking about? First of all,
I don't know you, but if I was to give
a piece of advice, seekl man. We reached out to

(24:26):
her husband and he said, uh minoble English l deportational.
Please she is mui logo. Oh Chad. So the final
tallly was twenty eight beeps. Twenty eight beeps in under
two minutes and ten seconds. Yeah, that's your freak out

(24:48):
Friday of the week. Insane. Oh my goodness, met three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is
your Extra Insta, your Ute, you Tube and more. Uh.
I love sports. You guys know that, and there's an
interesting thing that has taken place. So they've done a

(25:09):
new study on you know, kids sports things of that nature.
You and I have discussed this on numerous occasions. I
played at a pretty high level for the era that
I grew up in. To go to Europe and to
play soccer was pretty amazing. And not just to go
there and play on it like a summer tour. I
went there, I lived there for a decade. I played
for several years, and when I came home, you know,

(25:34):
all of my age group, in particular because pro soccer
hadn't kicked off yet. Really, the MLS wasn't even around.
And everybody I know coached, right, they're coaching if some
are in the MLS coaching, some have coached with the
national team, some have coached with you know, they're coaching
massive clubs and stuff. I couldn't do it, not usually

(25:54):
because of the kids the parents that I couldn't handle anymore,
but even when I was a kid grown up in
particular in baseball. No, No, couldn't you know. That's why
one of the reasons I stopped playing. It's just it's insane.

Speaker 12 (26:12):
It's not easy leading a little league team. The bad attitudes,
the petty drama, immaturity, and that's just coming from some
of the adults watching the game. Youth coaches nationwide now
say one of their biggest concerns isn't the kids playing,
it's the parents in the stands. Coaches say these viral

(26:32):
brawls and the bleachers are all too common. This fight
broke out in Florida this month after police say a
player's dad attacked the umpire's dad after the twenty one
year old umpire gave a warning to his kid's coach.
It escalated into a mosh pit, even the young players
ganging up, sending the coach, the dad, and the dad's
seventeen year old son to jail on battery charges.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Are you kidding me? No, I'm not. It is crazy
how insane some of these people are. And we're going
to get to one of the other reasons that the
insanity is growing, because it's always been there, right, this
is nothing new, but it's growing on a level that
we haven't seen.

Speaker 12 (27:14):
Now, thousands of coaches nationwide say they're fed up. A
new survey released by the US Center for Safe Sport
finds most coaches have felt burnt out and seriously considered
quitting in the last five years.

Speaker 25 (27:27):
So what this research really shows us as a system
that's under stress, and so we need to take the
opportunity to hear from coaches and work as organizations and
as leaders to intentionally build solutions for everyone within the
sport ecosystem.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Yeah, it's how do you do that though, because it's
not just the coaches, by the way, the umpires, the referees,
the the just everything that people do to try to
make your kids have the opportun unity to go out
and have fun into play is changed. And again I'm

(28:05):
going to get to the big reason the change is coming.
So you got to stick this through. I promise you
was worth it.

Speaker 12 (28:09):
Among the coaches who said they've experienced harassment or abuse,
fifty six percent say it mainly came from the parents.
One coach cited in the study said they're worse than children.

Speaker 26 (28:21):
Parents need to step away, let the players have a
good time, let the coaches do their job.

Speaker 12 (28:25):
Trent Mungaro has coached high school baseball for thirty five years.
He loves his job, but says one of the worst
parts parents have lost the plot.

Speaker 26 (28:35):
Emotion and logic don't go well together. It's like oil
and water. Nothing brings out the emotion of a parent
more than their child competing. Therefore, we have issues and
it can get really, really bad.

Speaker 12 (28:47):
He says. They can't find umpires willing to weather constant abuse,
and it's a problem nationwide.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
Yes it is. Why is that because a lot of times,
especially in the lower dealing with you know, kids that
are just a few years older than the kids who
are what playing and you got, you know, forty year
old men and women yelling at you know, a nineteen
year old that's doing it for one hundred bucks on
a Saturday.

Speaker 12 (29:14):
One youth sports league in New York says they're having
a hard time recruiting coaches because of parents like this
two moms throwing punches on the court at an elementary
school basketball game. A Catholic youth organization is now threatening
poorly behaved parents with a lifetime ban.

Speaker 21 (29:31):
People who love the game won't be referees, People who
love the game won't be coaches and at some point
you sort of say enough is.

Speaker 12 (29:37):
Enough and look at yet another giant fight breaking out
in Arizona this month, a battle royale on a football
field in Mesa with one hundred people trading blows, parents
joining in to back up their kids, requiring a massive
police response to break it up. Seventy officers called in
to lower the temperature. The whole tournament was canceled.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
And we talked about that. One of the big reasons
this has changed, or two of them, it's money, obviously,
because it cost a lot of money. Now, youth sports
is a gazillion dollar business. We've touched on that. But
on top of all of that, parents see, my kid
doesn't have to even become a pro athlete anymore. To

(30:22):
become a pro athlete, as far as money goes through
nial deals, parents are spending tens of thousands of dollars
for their kids to play sports, to have specialized training,
to travel. So they feel, you know what, I'm spending
twenty grand for my kid to play baseball and travel

(30:45):
all summer. Damn it. If I want to scream and yell,
I'm going to And that's not good, and it's not
good for the kids either because the pressure on the
kids to perform it's making it so they want to
quit sports faster and faster. Then it's unfortunate, it really is.
It's unfortunate the way that things are going. We just

(31:07):
don't let kids do it. Even now. I see, you know,
young soccer kids and they're they're they're doing things. You're like,
you're not supposed to be doing that. You're not, that's
not you know, it's it's it's so technical, it's so boring.
And they got nine nine coaches and they got a
technical coach and they got a coach. Whatever happened to

(31:27):
expressing yourself and having fun, Well, what happened is you
don't get to have fun if I'm paying ten twenty
grand a year. And that's why again sports is big
business and parents are poorly behaved. Three two, three, five,

monks are doing.

Speaker 27 (33:26):
As quickly as you can snack the pebble from my hand,
When you can take the pebble from my hand, it
would be time for you to.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Be Now it's time for your daily Monk March update.
Time for you to leave. So the monks are on
the March. They took off just a little while ago.
So today's action for the Monks. They are leaving from Alberta, Virginia,
heading to McKenny and DeWitt. Today continues through Virginia. As

(33:59):
they say, one step at a time, and they're gonna
have a night stop where they're going to visit with
everybody who comes out. Last night, the leader of the
Monks who you know, and these guys have become stars
since they started this and with really no fanfare in
October from you know, Dallas fort Worth. He was on

(34:19):
with CBS News last night talking about the surprise and
you know how it feels about all this.

Speaker 21 (34:24):
This is something that I have never expected. Somehow, it
just growing each and every day. The crowd is getting
launcher and Latcha and somehow this swaffle Keys has touched
their heart.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I love that, love that. So they're on their march.
We're a couple of weeks away from them getting to DC,
and I'm curious to see how big that crowd is
going to be when they get to DC. I'm feeling
it's gonna be bigger than I think a lot of
people believe. And there's a lot of people still coming
out every single day to see him, which is FU nominal.

(35:01):
So they're on their march today. And by the way,
if you want to know what the weather is like,
twenty seven will be the high day currently at seventeen.
Now tomorrow, they're going to be marching through snow. It's
going to be cold in and around the area, and
there will be some snow in the coming days as
they march towards d C. That's your update on the
Monk March for Peace three two, three, five, three eight,

(35:23):
twenty four, twenty three At Chad Benson Show. It is
your ex it is your Insta and your YouTube and
all of those things. We love hearing from each and
every one of you right here on the Chad Benson Show.
Coming up our number two of the program. Georgia is
still on Trump's mind and the FBI rated the other day,

(35:46):
and there's some serious questions about what it is they're
doing and this obsession obviously with twenty twenty. But one
of the big questions is why is Tulsei Gabbert there,
the Director of National Intelligence. It's an odd thing. We're
going to talk about that. We're latest on the weather,
as said, another storm gets ready to smash into a

(36:06):
lot of the country. Plus Luigi Mangioni. Somebody tried to
do what Yeah, somebody did. Crazy to talk about that
as well. Our number two of The Chad Benson Show
straight at.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
This is the Chad Benson Show. The Chad Benson Show got.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
A little breaking news. John Lemarne sour lemons that you
guys might recognize him, the very influentodential influencer, has been arrested.
This is from Abel Lowell, who is the attorney for

(37:11):
Don Lemon. The statement goes, Don Lemon was taken into
custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where
he was covering the Grammy Awards. Don has been a
journalist for thirty years and his constitutionally protected work in
Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done.
The First Amendment exists to protect journalists whose role is

(37:32):
to shine light on the truth and hold those in
power accountable. There is no more important time for people
like Don to be doing this work. Instead of investigating
the federal agents who killed two peaceful Minnesota protesters, the
Trump Justice Department is devoting its time, attention, and resources
to this arrest. And that is the real indictment of

(37:53):
wrongdoing in this case. The unprecedented attack on the First
Amendment and transparent attempt to distract the tension from the
many crises facing this administration will not stand. Don will
fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court. Well, oh,

(38:17):
I don't think that was very nice. Don is an
influencer anymore? He is, He's an influencer. Is he still
a journalist? Yes? Is he a pain in the ass? Yes?
Do I think this is ridiculous? Of course I do.
Of course I do. Following people in to have the
conversation that other people who had gone in and disrupted

(38:37):
the church service is one thing that being said. You know,
Don knew they were coming for him. He knew it right,
because he said, won't you come and get me? And
they're like, okay, because I'm not gonna get anybody else
in Minneapolis. Man, I don't know any other way. Just
to be outraging. I'm mad, I'm pissed off.

Speaker 28 (39:00):
And I'm mad because I know the administration they have.
They have no other choice but to lie about this
because this makes them look bad. It exposes who they are,
the horrible people.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
That they are. This looks like murder, That's what it
looks like.

Speaker 14 (39:16):
Now.

Speaker 28 (39:17):
I have not seen the full video from I've seen
the full video, but not from every angle. But every
single person, law enforcement, any sort of fair minded person
will tell you it looks like this woman was trying
to move out of the way.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
Now, that was the first shooting before the alex Pretty shooting.
And remember then they went into the church and all
the chaos was going on. We guys remember that. And
of course he goes on to talk about you know,
well him. Really it's about him because he's the biggest
he's the biggest fish out there.

Speaker 27 (39:55):
And there's a certain degree of entitlement. I think people
who are you know, in the religious group like that.
It's not the type of Christianity that I practice, but
I think that they're entitled and that that entitlement comes
from a supremacy, a white supremacy, and they think that
this country was built for them, that it is a
Christian country, when actually we left England because we wanted
religious freedom. It's religious freedom, but only if you're a

(40:17):
Christian and only if you're a white male, pretty much.
And so yeah, I absolutely one hundred percent, but it's
an intimidation tactic. And you know, I said, I don't
understand how I've become the face of it when I
was a journalist. I do understand that I'm the biggest
name there. And I'm also as I was on with
my producers this morning, you know, you and Kylie talk
all the time. My producers were saying, I said, how
did I become the face of this? And my producers at, Don,

(40:39):
you're a gay black man in America.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
That's what he said. So what the producers said, look right, am,
and said that Don, you're a puff No jad the
BRIT's laughing. You guys are if there's a Brit laughing,
They're like, oh man, I get that. So there you go.
Don arrested. So a little breaking news, right, there don
will face for ever in jail, of which Pam Bondi

(41:02):
will eventually have a chance to have this heard, and
then it'll be thrown out, is my prediction, at some
point in time, because the the judge is gonna look
and go really, really, We'll see, We'll see. Meanwhile, speaking
of stuff, there's a lot of other stuff going on,
you know, like weather, and the weather is bad, people,

(41:24):
the weather is bad.

Speaker 5 (41:26):
Let's talk about that next system and the cold which
is going to be widespread. If we've got all these
cold weather alerts and cold weather warnings all the way
down to Florida twenty thirty some cases forty degrees below
average Miami, you'll see the coldest air you've seen since
twenty ten comes Sunday. But the winter storm warnings are
already up for eastern Tennessee and parts of Virginia and

(41:46):
the Carolinas that will be expanded during the day tomorrow.
Win US up to fifty sixty five miles per hour
strong upper level energy is going to kind of trigger
a coastal low good old fashioned nor'eastern that rail will
fill in during the day tomorrow, blizzard conditions potentially along
the outer banks and then missing New York and much
of the big cities, including Boston. But it looks like

(42:07):
eastern mass will get clipped with this as well. As
far as how much snow, we expect to see six
to twelve inches in spots across North Carolina and Virginia
that's certainly possible, maybe more in some spots, and two
to six potentially across parts of eastern Massachusetts. But regardless
of how much snow you get, the.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Cold is going to be with us.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
It will be brutally cold, relatively speaking, right through the weekend,
in some cases, right through next week.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Brutally cold. Indeed, we're expecting the well expecting overnight to
get back down to low single digits, maybe even close
to zero. With the feels like out here in Tennessee.
We have almost last check, about eighty thousand people still
without power in the Nashville area, which is insane, and

(42:57):
that's become a national story of how bad they have
done here. At one time last week, half of the
people that are on nes that's Nashville Electric Services grid,
half of them were without power. Currently it is closing

(43:22):
in right around eighty plus thousand, which I'm sure it'll
shrink throughout the day. But they've just handled this poorly
compared to a lot of other places. In fact, it
was so poorly handled that Gavin Newsom's like, you know what, guys,
I'm going to send you some help. We handle things
poorly as well, so this should be a helper for you.
They're going to show you how to handle it even worse.

(43:46):
So what I'm saying is going to be cold. Okay,
just point that out to you. Be prepared for a
little bit of the coldness this weekend throughout much of
the Midwest, Southwest in certain areas, and of course throughout
the entire northeast all the way down to the southeast.
And there's gonna be a lot of snow. We're talking
a little while ago. The monks are gonna be walking

(44:06):
through it potentially later today and tomorrow. This was weird.
Didn't get much. I didn't see a lot of people
talking about it yesterday after it happened. But remember Luigi Mangioni,
somebody tried to break him out Met'll prosecutors say.

Speaker 15 (44:23):
Mark Anderson showed up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in
Brooklyn just before seven Wednesday night with a barbecue fork,
and pizza cutter at his bag and claiming he had
PaperWorks signed by a judge authorizing Manchioni's release. When the
guards asked to see some credentials, prosecutors say he showed
Minnesota driver's license, threw documents at them, and said he

(44:43):
was carrying weapons. When the guards searched Anderson's bag, they
said they found the barbecue fork and pizza cutter and
took him into custody, charging him with impersonating a federal agent.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
I'd just baked him a cake. There's a file in there.
You should be fine. That was your big thing.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
All right.

Speaker 2 (45:01):
I'm gonna bring some barbecue and a spork. We're getting
out of here. Settle down, mcguiver, settle down, okay, you idiots.
And the fact that he made it a little bit
further than I think a lot of people thought he
should have.

Speaker 29 (45:13):
Like just about anybody, he did make it to the
intake area of the federal jail in Brooklyn, where Mangioni
is being held, showed up, said that he was an
FBI agent, according to court records, and said he had
documents signed by a judge demanding that Mangione be set
free and Bureau of Prisons officials said all right, let's

(45:37):
see your credentials, and apparently he tossed a bunch of
documents at them.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
That's what you do, you go, you demand when they
asked to see your ID, show me your ID from
a different state with no badge, then throw the fake
documents at them, therefore distracting them until they beat your ass.
Nobody was hurt in this, and Mangioni is still in jail.

(46:07):
Who's next. I would have thought it would have been
a woman that would have tried to sneak him out.
I would have thought that. I would have thought it
would have been some lady who fell in love with
his smoldering good lucks although he's still they're still here
in his case, and whether or not they're gonna throw

(46:28):
out that evidence, and whether or not they seized it
properly when he was in the McDonald's. The beauty of
our country is we have laws, laws of which we've
been debating a lot because of what's going on in
Minnesota and elsewhere, Laws of which law enforcement have to
follow certain things. And I think it was William was

(46:48):
at Blackstone. Bill. I called him Bill, Bill Blackstone. You
guys might have called it William eighteenth century English jurist,
and I mean it's been thrown different ways, but his
his saying it is better that ten guilty persons escape
than one innocent suffer. And it's eventually been you know,

(47:09):
better that one thousand guilty men go free than one
innocent person being in prison kind of thing. And so
there is still a chance that they may have to
throw all of that evidence out, which includes the guns,
the notes, the diaries, everything. If that's true, they're gonna
have a tough time getting a conviction based on what
they will have. So but what's not going to happen

(47:32):
is somebody come in with a spork and a pie
and break them out. All right. Didn't work. It did
not work, is what I'm saying. It did not work.
Shocker right, like you why can't believe it?

Speaker 4 (47:47):
Did?

Speaker 2 (47:47):
I know? We're all shocks, right, Like this is our shockface?
Oh goodness me? All right, coming up, Milania's got a
movie coming out with a big budget for a documentary
Free and it's gonna be interesting to see how this
thing goes at the box office this weekend. I will

(48:07):

(49:34):
right Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
I'm going to predict this right now, and some of
you out there in back of land may be offended.
I think this Millenia show, this movie that's coming out,
this documentary, I think this thing is a dumb fire
waiting to happen. And when the numbers come in this weekend,
I don't know if there's enough magafolk out there that's

(50:09):
going to keep this thing afloat.

Speaker 30 (50:11):
In Washington last night, a red carpet premiere for First
Lady Milania Trump's documentary.

Speaker 11 (50:17):
A beautiful, it's emotional, it's a fashionabook.

Speaker 21 (50:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
I think it's a very importantly. I think it's really
going to be very important.

Speaker 30 (50:27):
The film Millennia, which covers the twenty days leading up
to her husband's twenty twenty five inauguration, debuted at the
Kennedy Center.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
I want to try to figure out. First of all,
Amazon spent a crap ton of money on this. I
don't think you guys realized how much money they spent
on what I thought. You know, I thought like some
sort of documentary. Not only they spend money on the movie,
they spend money on her.

Speaker 30 (50:50):
It opens in more than fifteen hundred theaters today.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
Here we go again.

Speaker 30 (50:56):
But even before hitting the big screen, the project raising
questions asking why Amazon, which produced the film, pay to
combined seventy five million dollars to produce and market the movie,
with twenty eight million dollars reportedly being paid directly to
the first lady.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
Oh well, you don't think there's something going on there?
You don't think this. Nobody finds this bizarre. I want
you guys to, as you liked always tell us. Let's
flip the script. Let's just say, you know, I don't know.
There was a guy, we'll call him Hunter Biden, and
a whole bunch of people bought paintings way overvalued. Do

(51:33):
you think that they were trying to do something with that.
Anybody you think you think that was possibility that they
were trying to curry favor.

Speaker 20 (51:42):
As many people estimate.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
This is actually seeking favorism with the Trump administration by
Amazon and Jeff Bezos. Yeah, just not trying to be mean, ken,
you know, whatever it is, it is twenty five million
dollars though to her in total, seventy five million dollars

(52:05):
for a twenty eight day or twenty five day documentary. Man,
that seems a little uh, a little bit like, yeah,
we need a tax right off my and this is
my box office. Guess if it does over five million
this weekend, that'd be huge. If it did two million,

(52:28):
I wouldn't be surprised. They're not making their money back, though, Oh,
you're being mean, being honest three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. That
is your ex that is your instance, that is your YouTube,
Facebook and more love hearing from all of you right
here on the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 31 (52:45):
Speaking of movies, among the twenty five movies being added
to the National Film Registry, John Carpenter's nineteen eighty two
alien horror movie The Thing also on the list, martial
arts classic The Karate kidracks on flex different olans mind
bending action movie inception.

Speaker 20 (53:03):
You create the world of the Dream and.

Speaker 31 (53:05):
The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Speaker 10 (53:06):
She's been murdered and you think I did?

Speaker 31 (53:08):
Director Wes Anderson says research for that movie, set at
a Swiss resort in the nineteen thirties, began at the
Library of Congress.

Speaker 2 (53:16):
I am curious about because that's supposed to be like
on the action horror side, how's the Budapest Hotel part
of that? Now? It wasn't just action horror movies or
whatever that's going to be in there.

Speaker 31 (53:28):
The oldest film being added to the National Film Registry
is The Tramp and the Dog from eighteen ninety six,
one of several comedies at the time where characters lost
their pants in a genre that was known as pants humor.
High Society is on the list of inductees as well.
The nineteen fifty six musical comedy pairs Up Bing Crosby,

(53:48):
Grace Kelly and Frank Sinatra. And for more modern audiences,
there's always nineteen ninety five's teen comedy Clueless starring Alicia Silverstone.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
As If, by the Way, just let You guys know
there is going to be a clueless two with all
of the cast. So that'll be interesting because the whole
Stacey Dash thing. You know, she's super conservative. Now coming up,
Zach Abram, Chief Bestment Officer, Bolt Capital joins the program.
That's right, head Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
Then Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
There's that time the week talk talk about it. Zack Abrahm,
chief Sment Officer, both were capitals. We talk about the
economy when now we're just bsing about the Seahawks going
to the super Bowl in our prediction. We'll give next week,
I'm sure, but let's talk economy. First of all, they
didn't they didn't lower rates. We figured they weren't going
to do any of that stuff. Not really a surprise there.

Speaker 20 (54:58):
No.

Speaker 4 (54:59):
And look, I unless something really changes, I don't think
you're gonna see any more rate ice this year. I
don't care what economists are saying. Okay, So, and you
got to sit back and look at it.

Speaker 2 (55:11):
Was it today?

Speaker 20 (55:12):
At one point Copper was up ten percent today?

Speaker 2 (55:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (55:15):
Okay, Now we're looking at fifty four hundred dollars gold,
looking at one hundred and eighteen dollars silver looking at
copper at six' ten six twve you. Know so one
of the things that they're talking about being able to
raise or being able to lower rates is they're saying
that the inflation via the tariffs did not hit the
same way that people.

Speaker 20 (55:33):
Thought it was going. To, okay fair, enough but here's
the problem with.

Speaker 4 (55:38):
That one of the biggest reasons that the tariffs did
not warn't as inflation area as some feared was because companies, backlogged,
right they built up inventory prior to the tariffs. Hitting
and so really you're just now seeing goods hit the
open market that are reflective of the tariffs in. Place,
Okay now that is happening at the same time that

(56:00):
virtually every input, cost including, oil is moving up.

Speaker 20 (56:05):
Sharply, Right metals have been moving up sharply for a.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
While oils ripping that gas is like doubled in the
Last now what's driving that gas is completely different what's
driving On but my point, is IF i look at
the existing data right, now AND i look at input, costs,
right what is, Copper it's an input.

Speaker 2 (56:24):
Cost what is?

Speaker 20 (56:25):
Silver it's an input?

Speaker 2 (56:26):
Cost?

Speaker 20 (56:26):
Right look what is? Oil it's an input?

Speaker 2 (56:28):
Cost, uh the.

Speaker 4 (56:29):
Tariffs, right as those goods that were bought and accumulated
under tariffs start being used and start being, deployed those
are input. Costs all of this adds, UP i DON'T.

Speaker 20 (56:41):
I something would have to change drastically to justify rate.

Speaker 4 (56:45):
Hikes and and LOOK I i and it's not for
or Against.

Speaker 20 (56:50):
TRUMP i am just telling. You if you.

Speaker 4 (56:52):
Look at the economic data, today everything is going like,
this including. Inflation, nothing, nothing, Nothing nothing says to cut.
Rates and quite, HONESTLY i think if you were to
cut rates, now like you AND i have talked about,
before twenty five fifty basis, points it makes a marginal,
difference not a big. Deal i'm talking about considerable rate, cut.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Which is What trump would like to, see, Right.

Speaker 20 (57:17):
And if you did, that, man things would get really.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
Weird, yeah if you, had if you, had like If
trump got to cut to one or zero like he has,
SAID i don't think he means.

Speaker 20 (57:26):
THAT i hope he, doesn't BUT i don't think he.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Does but if he, did you'd probably see gold go
to seven eight. Thousand you might see silver hit two.

Speaker 20 (57:34):
Hundred silver is. WEIRD a lot of different things are driving,
silver but people are, like, oh, well that's not.

Speaker 25 (57:40):
On.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
Man these markets are freaking me out enough. ALREADY i
mean you, look on the same, day you Got microsoft down,
twelve you've Got meta down, Ten you've Got gold mooning
then falling back. Down the volatility on these things is
off the bloody. MAP i will just tell people THAT
i don't see any big iceberg under the. Surface when
you see this kind of action in, markets when you

(58:02):
see this kind of, volatility keep your head on a.
Swivel this is the environment where nasty things can.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
Happen the dollar is getting kicked in the, grundle AND
i don't think that is you, Know trump like likes,
To oh, yeah it's good because people didn't come spend money.
Here people do, this and we're gonna you, know we're
gonna be more people are gonna be more interested in
coming buying our, goods et, cetera et. Cetera there's a. Lot,
yes you can make a little bit of an, argument
but there's a difference between that and it getting kicked
in the. Grundle. Uh and, maybe like you, KNOW i,

(58:31):
mean everybody's worried, about you, know the reserve. Currency everybody's
worried about a lot of different. Things but there's no
doubt we lose our spending power going. Elsewhere and when
you're putting tariffs on, stuff that's not.

Speaker 20 (58:41):
Good, No so the dollar IS i think that. YOU
i think you hit the nail on the.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
Head.

Speaker 4 (58:50):
Now no president is ever going to come out and
say this because the political optics are. Bad, Okay but
if you look at our economy and where we're at right,
now we need the dollar to go. Down but it's
all about the rate of, change Right it cannot go
down too fast that that flips things. Over so what
we've seen this, week and don't quote, me BUT i

(59:13):
think in the last four days, COMBINED i think the
dollars down one point eight two percent something like.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
That that's.

Speaker 20 (59:19):
Aggressive that is a that is a sharp move.

Speaker 4 (59:22):
Lower and more, IMPORTANTLY i think you AND i talked about,
this but the dollar the D X y and, guys
if you want to track the, dollar you're gonna get
so many stupid opinions for. People just type IN Dxy,
okay that's that's what you want to. Watch that's that's the.
Dollar that's the dollar against all the other major currencies

(59:43):
in the. World so the dollar was hanging above this trend,
line this upward trend line that it had held to
for the better part of last fifteen eighteen. YEARS i
want to say so just recently you broke below.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
THAT i believe it was, yesterday the day.

Speaker 4 (59:59):
Before and that's not people are gonna sell fear porn on.

Speaker 25 (01:00:05):
That it.

Speaker 4 (01:00:05):
Shouldn't we need the dollar to go. Down it is
the only viable way to rebuild the manufacturing base in this,
country at least to a. Level LIKE i told, you you,
know are we Gonna are we gonna Rival?

Speaker 20 (01:00:16):
China, no those days are.

Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
Past where we we we our economy isn't suited to do.
That but what we can and need to do is
we better get back to a place where we can
source our own rare earth metals so we can supply
our own.

Speaker 20 (01:00:28):
Missiles, Right and that's and that's where you need to
get back. To but to do, THAT.

Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
I don't want governments in their setting up manufacturing. Centers they,
can they can partner with private, industry but to make
it viable to private, industry you've got to have a
weeker dollars so they can sell goods other places in the.
World and then and, then like you AND i have
talked about. Too, look people will talk about what we're
gonna do with the fiscal what we're gonna do with the,
debt what we're gonna do with the. Deficits, look let

(01:00:56):
me let me just tell you right, now what any
politician or any he says about this is. Immaterial this
is what they're gonna. Do they're gonna inflate the deada.
Way they don't have another. Option, nobody. Nobody if you
want to go the austerity, route cut back spending and
trim things back and do it the old fashion, way
there's nobody that would survive. Reelection you'd get A you,

(01:01:17):
know when you're running seven percent, deficits, right and you
get an economy you're own a three three and a half,
percent you can't balance the.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Budge, it no no.

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Chance you, Look, yeah because think about that The Great
recession top to bottom stock market drops sixty three. Percent
that was a three point eight percent drop IN. Gdp
you're running deficits that are seven, percent so double that.

Speaker 20 (01:01:37):
Number if you balance the. Budget you are looking at it,
now you're gonna see one. Offs, RIGHT gdp would drop
more than seven percent because you'd get the ancillary effects
of that, drop but you'd probably looking eight to nine
percent drop IN.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Gdp that's a. Depression, yeah, right so.

Speaker 20 (01:01:53):
That's not gonna. Happen what's gonna.

Speaker 4 (01:01:55):
Happen they want to gradually and in a controlled, way
client the dollar overtime and, listen should we be paying. Attention,
yes everything is going to get more, expensive just just accept.

Speaker 20 (01:02:07):
It but to put a little bit of balance in.
Here over the last going back to the year two,
thousand the range on the, dollars THE dxy has been
like one twenty three to. Seventy, yes they we're in ninety,
six so it's not The we're not in an extreme
position at. All we're.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
NOT i would expect a year from now for THE
dxy to be traded in the mid. Eighties if it
declines faster than, that things will get really.

Speaker 20 (01:02:33):
Saucy and think that's the.

Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
Thing it's like you, said it's it's it's does it
go from seventy nine to you, KNOW i, mean does
it go from like eighty five to seventy nine in
the space of a and then you're, like, oh you,
know this is where it feels uncomfortable that that move right. There.

Speaker 20 (01:02:48):
Now the one THING i will say, though to give
everybody a little.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
Perspective so, look.

Speaker 20 (01:02:56):
If you leave me to deal with and.

Speaker 4 (01:02:59):
It's kind of weird to say, this but what most
investors are afraid of is an inflation area, event, right
things dropping their, portfolio losing massive amounts of value that
can happen via. Inflation but when we're looking at inflation
like we're looking at it, NOW i actually like this
environment in terms of investing because inflation is a very

(01:03:20):
especially in the setup that we have right, Now, chad
we are kind of a microcosm of the.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
World most of the developed.

Speaker 4 (01:03:26):
Economies in the world are in a very similar place to,
us which is they are massively over.

Speaker 20 (01:03:31):
Indebted they're horrifically reliant.

Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
On government's ability to print and spend, money, right and
they're starting to suffer the consequences that higher, inflation higher
costs of.

Speaker 20 (01:03:40):
Living so how do we do? This how do we
everybody's in a similar.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
Position that affords you some serious latitude right in the
latitude it because, remember currencies are a competitive. Game so
the advantage that it gives you is that you can
take these, actions you can inflate away the. Debt everybody
else is going to have to do the same. Thing
but most, importantly it is so much easier to hedge

(01:04:06):
a portfolio against inflation than it is.

Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Deflation, yes, right so much.

Speaker 4 (01:04:11):
Easier and you, KNOW i, Again i'm not promising, This
i'm not saying we always do, this but just having
those inflationary assets in our, Portfolio we're up fifteen percent
in the month Of. January that's, it the last twenty eight, days,
right why inflation edges and a lot of those are
paying us between six to twelve percent.

Speaker 20 (01:04:31):
Dividends so, again if you're gonna sit.

Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
In high price Tech microsoft getting smacked for twelve percent,
today what have we talked?

Speaker 20 (01:04:39):
About they're great.

Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Companies when your evaluations get too high and you have
a bad earnings, report buckle, up, sweetheart you're gonna get.

Speaker 20 (01:04:45):
Hammered. Right, so, look you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Gotta have a.

Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
Portfolio i've been pounding the table on this for eighteen
to twenty four. Months you don't have to dump, everything
but you've got to have a portfolio that's properly. Allocated
and if your portfolio worked well over the last ten,
years you're you are not in a good position right.

Speaker 2 (01:05:02):
Now, yeah no doubt talking to. That abram Chievesment officer board. Capital.
UH i think people are still worried ABOUT ai and TECH.
Ai you, know we talked about ninety, nine you know,
again and, YEAH i JUST i look at their you,
KNOW i go and look And i'm, Thinking, man you
guys are in for a trillion dollars and you're making
forty billion dollars a, year and you're you're allocating another

(01:05:23):
three hundred billion over. THERE i don't know WHERE i
see profit come, from BUT i, figure you know what
they've spent themselves into too big to?

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
Fail, Probably, yeah they probably. Have that's an interesting. TAKE
i don't really thought about. That you, Know facebook comes out,
today why their stock went.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
UP i don't. Know they're gonna spend more.

Speaker 4 (01:05:41):
Money, yeah, right one hundred and thirty five billion On
capex and and and here's why it's absurd three years
from now that bat could pay. Off, Okay And zuckerberg
is a smart. Cat he's built a heck of a.
Company and every time he's taking gamble like this outside
of the, Metaverse, uh he's been.

Speaker 20 (01:06:03):
Right, okay here's What i'm talking about about the.

Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
Market when they're going to spend one hundred and thirty
five billion in CAPEX x next.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
Year what does that?

Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
Do that injects a whole pile of uncertainty into that.
Stock stocks should not go up when uncertainty goes. Up yeah,
Right certainty is what takes prices. Up uncertainty takes them.
Down but, again and then on the same, Day microsoft
get hit it hits for twelve. Percent why they announced
almost the exact same size of capex That facebook. Did

(01:06:32):
zuckerberg just did a better better job selling it on
the conference.

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
CALL i mean, literally that's.

Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
It so, AGAIN i will just look AT Us tech and, go,
guys it's too. Hard there were up fifteen percent on
the in twenty eight days playing almost none of that, stuff,
okay and the stuff that we own is dirt, Cheap so,
again you don't have to get rid of all of.
It BUT i just wish people could understand the portfolio
you have had for the last ten to twelve. Years

(01:06:58):
not only will it not work going, forward but it
wouldn't have worked any other. Time, yes your portfolio looks
like it did now because those things went.

Speaker 20 (01:07:06):
Up your portfolio is not supposed to look that.

Speaker 4 (01:07:08):
Way it never, was so don't be surprised when it
does not perform, well and you're looking, around, going.

Speaker 20 (01:07:16):
How Is zach up fourteen to fifteen? Percent we're flat
on the. Ear that's what's gonna. Happen you own a
bunch of overpriced.

Speaker 4 (01:07:22):
Stuff so, anyway there's a bunch of easy ways to do.
This but WHEN i sit there and look at the
average retail composition And i'm not just saying the Ones
i'm looking. At When i'm looking at the flow data
and all the data about portfolio, positioning people are trying
to reload and. Tech they still don't have allocations to precious,
metals and you're just, going, Good, god take a.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
Clue it's. Insane it's. Insane Zach, Cabraham chief Vestment, Officer Bolt.
Capital people want to reach out to you because they.
Should what do they?

Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Day so my little, one she tries to be hip and,
cool but she's still my little. One but her and
her sister get along. Great and it is funny because
when she'll play some games and, stuff she'll pick up
some of the lingo that the youth are using. It
AND i know she's heard this from her sister and
her big, brother and she said it to me the
other day AND i started. Laughing NOW i start using,
it which of course annoys. Her five. Ever five, Ever

(01:11:02):
so if you're waiting for, something or you think something's
taking too, long as somebody, go, oh what is what's going?
On she get, right it's taking five ever for this to,
happen uh see. See and she used it last night

(01:13:26):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
Show we got breaking criminal, news breaking criminal. News they
caught the mastermind behind one of the biggest obnoxious individuals and,
Journalism Don. Lemon they broke. Him they got, Him they got.
Him we got, him, guys we got.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
Him.

Speaker 2 (01:13:43):
What, yeah it's a breaking news by the, way all
joking aside with the Whole Don lemon.

Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
Thing.

Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
Uh and here here's my my. Take i'm gonna defend
him right, Here, okay he is a, blowhard he is
all of the, things and he's always been that. Way, narcissist,
cocky all of. That, Okay but did he what did he?

Speaker 21 (01:14:08):
Do?

Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
WHAT i, mean, honestly, honestly what exactly so they arrested
him for the thing In? Minnesota, okay what exactly does that?
Mean is he really a? Journalist i've said this. Now,
look everybody now is an. Influencer even if you are a, journalist,
journalist you have to be an influencer to get anybody

(01:14:30):
to notice. You and that's what he's. Done he's the
independent media, journalist whatever you want to call. It but
he's an influencer and he's using his fame and all
that stuff because, hey it's, hey look IF i had
that kind of, fame hell, Yeah i'd be using. It
the question, is did he break a law going into
the church that?

Speaker 26 (01:14:48):
Day?

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Right, remember remember what.

Speaker 28 (01:14:50):
Happened we live in there's A constitution in The First
amendment to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble at.

Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Protest we're here to.

Speaker 16 (01:14:57):
Worship we're here to Worship jesus because that's the hope
of these, cities that's the hope of the.

Speaker 20 (01:15:01):
World Is Jesus.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
Christ i'm very respect, you but please don't push. Me
then Where so that was the interaction between him and
the pastor In Saint paul and it, was you, know
but he followed people that went in there and the
reason they targeted that church if you guys remember this
was after the first killing in in you, Know minneapolis

(01:15:24):
With Renee good and they went in there and targeted
that church because that pastor is leads one of the
field offices OF ice In. Minnesota and then he went in.
There was he? Disruptive did he do? Something it's a
dangerous past it. Is we saw. That look by the

(01:15:46):
way we Saw hi Under, obama remember what he did
investigating the guy From Fox and there was a lot of,
investigations a lot of stuff that. Happened But i'm a first. Guy,
now if you go in there and you break it,
up if and you have to prove it that he
led the charge in, there he broke everything, up rather

(01:16:09):
than following people in there and interviewing, people which is
WHAT i think he. DID i could be. WRONG i
want to see all the. Information i'm just putting it out.
There that's why he was, like you're defending him, well,
LOOK i think he's a clown at, times but we're
we can all be. Clowns we. Can't but he's you,
know everything's about, him, always everything's about. Him remember when

(01:16:32):
he was talking about you, know he goes on that
show with That Jessica welch and he's, like they're coming
after me Because i'm a big name And i'm a
big fish and they're after. Me and he, Goes they're
coming for me Because i'm you, know he's, Gay Black
american and all. That suff it's always about. Him, hey
how CAN i bring this back to? Me but it
doesn't mean that this is. Right The First amendment is

(01:16:54):
there to protect our, speech and it's there to keep
check on. Power, okay it, Is And i'm curious to
see exactly what all of the charges are going to
be against. Him earlier, Today Brian steltzer hold on The potato.

Speaker 32 (01:17:09):
A disturbing escalation against reporting In. America AND i would
also put it in the framework of. Protests you, know
this is part of an ongoing pressure campaign against, protests
especially the kind of provocative Anti trump protest action that
we have seen makes the administration so uncomfortable and frankly
makes some voters very. Uncomfortable this is an, action this

(01:17:29):
arrest Of Don, lemon this arrest of this independent journalist
who is live streaming and reporting In. Minnesota this is
something that SOME maga loyalists have been. Demanding they've been
wanting to see it. Happen When trump promised, Retribution this
is the kind of, retribution but some of his, voters not,
all but some of his voters wanted to. See AND
i think that is for better or for, worse some

(01:17:51):
of the contexts for what we're seeing this morning.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
Again AND i you, Know Don lemon is what he.
Is And i've been, saying, look he's an influence now
where everybody's an influencer, now everybody is an influencer. Now
but he went in there AND i remember him just interviewing.
PEOPLE i don't remember him running up and down on
the aisles and doing stuff like, that which is a

(01:18:15):
much different conversation to have on breaking, up you, know
religious meetings and. Whatnot So i'm curious just to see
what exactly they're going to charge him with and what
kind of time you could actually. Face and my prediction
is the judge is gonna look and go, no he's

(01:18:40):
got his first sumenda, Right he wasn't the first one in.
There he didn't do, anything you, know as far AS
i can remember. SEEING i REMEMBER i, said he interviewed.
People he wasn't throwing, anything wasn't breaking, anything wasn't screaming
and hooton and. Hollerin SO i think that that is
what a judge is going to, say AND i would

(01:19:01):
be surprised if they toss.

Speaker 32 (01:19:02):
It and you, know The First amendment is meant to
protect both or reporter's right to, report but also a
congregation's right to. Worship so legal experts might say this
is somewhat, complicated Although lemon said all along he was
there as a, reporter not as an, activist and he
did a really important job showing, people all of us
now who can watch the, video what happened inside that.

(01:19:23):
CHURCH i want to back up to That sunday. Morning
that intrusion in the city's church was sincerely shocking.

Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
To many many millions Of, americans myself.

Speaker 32 (01:19:31):
Included you, know people you know saw that, video they
Saw lemon's, video and they were uncomfortable by what happened
inside that. Church the idea that worship service was disrupted by.
Protesters and now now there's a very interesting debate about
whether the protesters were right or they were wrong to
go into the. Church but that is a political, debate
and that's a debate about what forms a protest are.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
Effective so he's could potentially face conspiracy against, rights, okay
which is something he could, face and or freedom of
access to clinical, entrances which is something. Else but, remember

(01:20:13):
being arrested and charged doesn't mean. Guilt BUT i do
have some you, KNOW i have some serious issues with
the way that this you, know the most transparent is
supposed to, be hasn't been as transparent as PEOPLE i
think would. Like and they you, know from The pentagon
starts with The pentagon and you know to even the you,

(01:20:34):
know when they go into the press, room and it's
just there's some, questions, right there are some, questions but Don,
lemon this is. Performative they're going after don don by the,
way played it to come and get it because he,
also by the, way he's loving every second of this
because he knows he's going to come out of. MARTYR
i doubt he's going to, get first of, all any prison,

(01:20:55):
time and this just gives him that martyrdom and look at.
Me the administration came for. Me The president of The
United states came for me through the full. Might but
our constitution will protect me kind of, thing and that'll
elevate him.

Speaker 32 (01:21:11):
Greatly The trump administration's moving that political debate into the
legal arena and wanting to take it into court and
have a court. Fight and we know there have been
these attempts to arrest some of the other protesters last
week who were, there and now we have these arrests
of these reporters who documented the. Scene i'm reminded of
what one Of lemon's, Friends Jennifer, welch said to her
on a. Podcast lemon was talking To, welch And welch

(01:21:34):
said To, lemon, quote you are a prize for, them an, independent, gay, black,
happy successful, man and this is an attempt to intimidate
and beat you. Down so that's How lemon's friends see this,
situation this attempt to charge him and now this actual
arrest Of, lemon he's in jail In la, now as
an attempt to target Another trump. Foe and let me

(01:21:55):
also Quote, sarah our Colleague Larry medoo who's based In,
nairobi who Covers AFRICA. Cnn he wrote ON xt a
few minutes, ago this arrest is a gift to authoritarian
governments worldwide who can now justify a arresting journalist they don't,
like because Even america does.

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
It, OOH i hope not and like and again this
he's going to play everything into this because it'll be
great for you, know the cred, right this will give,
him you, know he'll be our farming off, this as
the youngsters would. Say on top of, that this is
going to be a situation where it gives in the short,

(01:22:33):
term the the look that, look we're coming after everybody
who is you, know against a foe against, us this
administration and you the maga. Folk so there you. Go

Said Tulsi gabbard's effectively in charge of the effort to

this is something that has raised serious, concerns and The

That fortune of the program on Our, friday we enjoy
our good, Buddy Jim Kennedy. Kennedy instead of public policy,
research let's talk about The trump. Administration it's been a
hell of a week for, them but a lot of
the focus, Obviously, dude it's been In, minnesota the nightmare that's.
Been and you know HOW i. Feel, LOOK i think Immigration,
BARBIE i call her, that And i'm unapologetic about. IT
i think she has been. RIDICULOUS i think a lot

(01:31:41):
of what they're doing is performative and that performance is
not going. Well and it didn't go, well and it
didn't go well from the shooting Of Alex pretty and
it continued to go sideways with the way that they
acted at, times and then they called In Tom, homan
but the Are if you look at the, numbers people

(01:32:02):
are not. Thrilled they want to see a fix of.
Immigration they want to get a lot of people that
are here out of, here especially people that are. Bad
they don't want to See americans dying on the.

Speaker 37 (01:32:11):
Street, yeah, no they, don't AND i don't think anybody,
does to be, fair regariters of which side of the
political spectrum you're.

Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
On, yeah it has not gone.

Speaker 37 (01:32:17):
WELL i had a lot of hope for Immigration, barbie
as you refer to, her of doing a good, job
but clearly that did not pan out from What i've,
Seen AND i do have to question how long she's
going to remain in the administration because she has a.
LIABILITY i have a lot of faith in home and
going in and cleaning up the. MESS i don't know
exactly how much of a real commitment he's getting out

(01:32:39):
of them In minnesota as far as their promises to
start letting them take the prisoners out of the, jails
Because waltz has.

Speaker 2 (01:32:48):
Been, saying oh, no, no we've been.

Speaker 37 (01:32:49):
Cooperating you, know we let them go to the. Prison you,
know the prisons are, fine but a lot of the
first time where they're getting the guys in the first
pickups are the illegals on the first pickups is in
the jails In hennepin count in all Around, minneapolis and
that is where they've kind of partially said they may
let them go in there, possibly And i'm looking for

(01:33:09):
a little bit more affirmative wording that they're going to
let them do. That the problem, IS i think they
know that if they do, that those mobs are gonna
start coming For fry and For waltz and rather than
coming for THE ice protests or for THE ice, agents
and they know that they're going to get a lot
of flak from their you, know political. Body, now both
of those guys are lame, dunk lame ducks Because fry

(01:33:30):
said he's not running again for, reelection and of Course
walls isn't running for, reelection so they're both not you,
know they don't have a future race to run in this.
Year so for that, aspect they can probably do what
they want and not pay too much of a political.
Price BUT i guess If fry wants that political future
somewhere else or you, know at a higher office within
the state or within federal, government so he's going to

(01:33:51):
probably try to make sure that his key is kept.
Cleaning he doesn't have to basically answer for this in
two or four years if he runs again for some
other higher. Office but, yeah it hasn't been a good
it hasn't been a good good week for The trump.
ADMINISTRATION i Think home is going to get him back
on track and hopefully we'll kind of get a lot
of this, rhetoric a lot of this good visuals for
the left tone down to where they're, gonna you, know

(01:34:12):
and and, again you, know my assumption is that they're
there for the fact that it's because of The somali fraud.
Issues because if you look at any any, numbers any
charts on where the where the deportations are coming, from
they're not coming From. Minnesota minnesota is not even the
top ten for. Deportations At florida not a. Problem you know,
why because they. Cooperate texas is number. Two you know

(01:34:33):
why they.

Speaker 2 (01:34:34):
Cooperate and there's also a lot of them. THERE i,
mean look at the numbers In, Texas, texas how many
what is it like two million plus people that are
there illegally or whatever you, know or or through the you,
know the the. Asylum there's plenty of them. There they're
there for The somali thing, because as we have talked,
about so much of what happens in the world today is,

(01:34:55):
performative and it. Was it's a great story for them
Because gin's up the. Base oh my, god hear these
bad people From somali. Here they're all, pirates they're all,
this they're all. That we're coming to get. Them and
it's a perfect. Story plus you get the great villain for,
them which is Jelan omar and all this. Stuff but
as you talk, about if you're looking for numbers and
looking for real, issues that's not the.

Speaker 37 (01:35:17):
Place, yeah AND i, mean there may be a good lesson,
here And holman knows the lesson from The obama administration
if you can do a lot of this under the,
radar if you're just not shooting people in the street
or in cars on a daily basis or a weekly.
Basis Because obama has got more people out of the
country Than trump pass so. Far he did it very,
quietly did it With, holman and he had unfortunately which

(01:35:39):
he's not, getting which we weren't The republicans aren't. Getting
there's a lot of cooperation from a lot of the
states to go ahead and do it and get the
people out of the, jails and that's really the easiest.

Speaker 2 (01:35:47):
And best way to do.

Speaker 37 (01:35:48):
It you don't really see anything in those because you,
know the protesters aren't really even there, yet because they're
not getting picked up for. Immigration they're getting picked up
for dui or for domestic, violence or for burglary or for,
murder and they're not having the protesters there that, are you,
know chanting for these people to be released because they
pick them up out of the jails and never know
they were in. There easy pas, off they go.

Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
Absolutely talking To Jim Kennedy Kennedy institute Of Public Policy,
research we moved from, There jim to you, Know trump
still has to the messaging of we've defeated you, know
affordability and all this. Stuff at the end of the,
day while this makes the, news the average person still

(01:36:30):
the number one thing is the. Economy inflation still a
little bit, hotter the trade. DEFICIT i don't know if
you saw, That i'm sure you. Did was not. Good it,
was it was. Worse there's a lot of frustration still
out there because you, KNOW i saw when he was
In iowa there was a lot of Former trump supporters
who want no part of what he has done because
they felt, Like, okay you got in there and you

(01:36:51):
switched and you've made all of this about, you and they're.

Speaker 37 (01:36:55):
Struggling, yeah it also is the thing you got to
start looking at and this could this will possibly be
very prominent in the midterms and may they may decide
the midterms is whenever we get to the end of an,
administration after it's eight years of, runout we generally kind
of look for a. Change we kind of get. TIRED i,
mean as much as people Love GEORGE. W, bush people

(01:37:17):
were tired of. THEM i wasn't necessarily looking for A
democrat to come, in but we're looking for a, change
looking for something, different same thing with eight years Of
obama looking for a. Change probably Why trump got in
because of the fact they were looking for something. Different
the thing About trump is he hasn't done it for eight.

Speaker 2 (01:37:31):
Years he's do this for.

Speaker 37 (01:37:32):
Going it'll be going on twelve years when he's. Done
AND i think people are just simply getting. Tired and
like we've talked about many, times if there is so
much news coming, OUT i don't know if it's just
all social media but the news cycles are non are
are are never, ending and every week could talk about
how busy of a week it, is because it has.
Been it has been busier than you, Know biden wasn't

(01:37:53):
busy like, this and it's just been there's so much
news out there. Time maybe someone's been ginned up by
the mainstream media looking to take down On. Trump wouldn't
discount some of. THEM a lot of it is self
inflicted and a lot of it is just genuine news
that is out there because they are doing a lot
of different, things whether it's on the international front trying
and overthrow regimes or, immigration or the economy, domestically or

(01:38:14):
somebody saying something stupid of THE fbi or not releasing
The epstein. Files there's a lot of moving pieces that
we didn't see another administration for, what for whatever. Reason
AND i think that's going to AND i think you're
going to start running Into trump. Fatigue the economy is
certainly going to be part of. It the fact of
all of the news that has come out over the
time is going to be out there. Too there's gonna
be so much for the left to go after and

(01:38:35):
basically try to you, know for for great for. Advertisements
SO i think it's going to be interesting on that.
Aspect but, definitely you, know you've said the word, affordability
and until something, changes that's going to be the word
of the year for the. MIDTERMS i think it's going
to be, that and it's going to be how are
you going to do? It and to be, honest the
president doesn't have a lot of influence in. That it
is the, economy it is, costs it is, inflation which

(01:38:57):
he doesn't. Control as much as he wants to own
The fed and run The, fed he does. It it's
supposed to be a separate. Body they can somewhat influence,
it but he can't run it and get the pick
his person for. It but, again that person should be
an independent person that does what's for the best of the,
economy not what's best for a political party that's in
or out of.

Speaker 18 (01:39:15):
Office.

Speaker 2 (01:39:16):
Absolutely talking To Jim Kennedy Kennedy institute Of Public Policy
research on the foreign side of, Stuff Jim trump painted
himself into a corner With. Iran he, Said i'm, Coming i'm.
Coming just you, guys keep doing your thing and don't.
Worry help is. Coming and then he's, like, well they
said they're not going to kill, anymore and now we're

(01:39:36):
finding out that killed potentially up to thirty, thousand who
knows how many really they, killed and they're out there
again starting it, up and now he's got the. Armada.
THERE i go back to. This you drew a redline
that you didn't have. To you want regime, change how
do you really do? That because it better not be

(01:39:56):
with us figuring out how we can get in there
with our soldiers something, like because you can't just, okay
you kill The. Iatola if you were able to do,
that what do you think they're, Like, okay, tomorrow we're
just gonna have. Elections, no the next one pops. Up
you haven't fixed. It you just removed something kind of
and maybe caused Another libya Or. Syria, yeah they have

(01:40:19):
a little bit have, it you.

Speaker 37 (01:40:20):
KNOW i Mean ron's got a development. ECONOMY i Mean
libya didn't really have much of an. Economy SO i
don't think there's quite as much of a risk as
far as turning into a completely lawless state Like. Libya
but you're, right they can have a guy that's behind
that's put that that's behind The, iyatola that would take.
Over they could be far worse than. Him he maybe
would kill one hundred thousand people in an. Uprising you
don't know what there is. There you, know everyone points

(01:40:42):
to the Shaw. Son the Shaw son is really not
a viable. ALTERNATIVE i don't think because of too many
people still remember the SHAW i know it's been forty,
years but a lot of people still remember the shaw
and he was not exactly and you, know towards the
end of his reign known as mister nice.

Speaker 4 (01:40:55):
Guy.

Speaker 2 (01:40:55):
Yeah and there's also this thought of, okay you haven't
been there for like forty five. Years, yeah you don't
have your you, know your your finger on the pulse
of what goes on. There and on top of all of,
that the younger generation wants to have their own voice and,
say the last thing they want is a puppet From

(01:41:17):
america In israel and one.

Speaker 37 (01:41:19):
That is seventy years. Old they want somebody, Younger they
want someone that's you know that definitely want. Democracy but
you've still got a lot of people that's still like
a theocracy. Concept so you've almost got three camps that
you that you're trying to fight. THROUGH i don't think
that they've identified a clear person within that administration that
could basically be you, know the the version of Elect

(01:41:41):
valenza or anything that could come out and be a
person that would lead a peaceful Democratic. Iran but there's
lots of people that you know that maybe could come
out if you come through elections and. Something but how
do you do that without putting boots on the ground
is very very.

Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
Difficult this Isn't.

Speaker 37 (01:41:57):
Venezuela venezuela was nowhere near that kind of a problem
because of the fact that there had been democratic representation
the last twenty years or even a little bit. Less
Probably cuba would be kind of a closer model to
this because of the fact that you've, had you, know
sixty years of communist. Rule the thing with the communist

(01:42:17):
there's probably somebody in there that they can probably find
that would be welcoming of. Democracy the problem is you
have the problem In iran of both being a autocratic
government and a theocratic. Government so you've got the people
that are basically you may be able to pick one off,
of but you're not going to pick somebody who is
going to be a secular. Democrat that is not going
to be a fun that you're going to easily find

(01:42:37):
that has been able to make any sort of position
for themselves in the current environment in current government In,
iran because you're going to get purged one of the two.
Ways so that's a. PROBLEM a leadership, vacuum, yes would
create a problem within the country that would be very
bad for. Us and, again we would have the, problem
but we broke, it we'd have to go fix, it
AND i don't know how we would actually do. THAT

(01:42:58):
i would like to hope they've got somebody in there
that they think is a realistic that you, know the
intelligence agencies and everybody agrees, upon is a real potential.
Leader but left if you don't have that, person you
guys had better not be messing with it because it's
just going to be a disaster public relations. Wise and
that's the kind of disaster that pop up right around the.
Midterms it would be bad for The republicans And.

Speaker 2 (01:43:18):
Trump talking To Jim Kennedy Kennedy institute Of Public Policy,
research we've got about a minute, Here, jim we're going
to start doing our Midterm mondays coming, up because you,
know there is a lot of STUFF i think that's
going to happen between now and. Midterms if you would
to handicap it at this. Moment, right let's get you
a little quick snapshot because things will. Change give us

(01:43:40):
a look on The house and The senate. Side do
The republicans lose The house and keep The? Senate do
they lose? Both do they keep?

Speaker 37 (01:43:48):
BOTH i CANNOT i would say right, now my money
would be on they lose The house by a couple
of votes and they would retain The. Senate but there's
still people dropping out on a daily basis that are
saying they're not going to seek reelection on both sides
in The. House and there's still a couple Of senators
that may disappear from the re election campaigns, Also AND i,
know like in a couple of, seats you're going to

(01:44:09):
be filling Some senate seats for people that are retiring
and trying to move on to other, offices like down In.
Tennessee as a matter of, fact somebody's gonna be. Leaving
you're going to be able to fill fill a role
down there if they win the gubernatorial. Race so, yeah
it's still going to be you, know we've got ten
months to the, election so mu's gonna. Happen so many
Black swan's going to. Occur we could have so many
countries we could you, know we could invade as the Peace.

(01:44:32):
President President trump could win A Nobel Peace. Prize by
the time we have those elections In, november you, know
we could have how many more people shot and killed
on the streets trying to protest. Immigration you don't know
what's going to. Happen you've got an alien invasion for all
that we know by. Then so it is going to
be an interesting ten months and definitely something you should
be watching on a weekly basis and listening to us
as we go over all the depths and all of
