Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
What the hell happened at a baseball game last night?
Have you guys seen this? I was telling my wife
when I saw it. Originally, I'm like, that looks like
somebody threw a like a dummy off of the stands
onto the warning track at a baseball game.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
But it was not.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
A fan was carted off the field at P and
C Park tonight after he fell from the right field
bleachers more than twenty feet onto the warning track.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
I'll be honest, I'm still pretty shaken up right now,
as I'm sure everyone is who came out to the
Pirates game. Deny, just not something you ever want to see,
especially not at a baseball game. Now over my shoulder,
right here is the Clemente wall. You see, it's about
a little over twenty feet high. That's how far the
fan fell down onto the track out there in center field.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
The figure wasn't moving, but the EMTs came out right
away with the gurney and carted him off.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Like I said, when I saw it, originally, I'm like,
that doesn't look real. So it looked like somebody threw
almost a mannequin over, but it wasn't. And I like
how the lady says, that's not something you'd normally like
to see it at baseball game or anywhere, ma'am anywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Now, Derek Shelton obviously after the game.

Speaker 6 (01:33):
Even though it's you know, three hundred and fifty feet
away or whatever it is, I mean, the fact of
how it went down and then you know, laying motionless,
well like while the play's going on. I mean, Craig
saw it. I saw it. We both got out there.
I think the umpire saw it, unfortunately because the way
the ball kicked, you know, but just it's it's extremely unfortunate.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I mean that's an understatement, I think so.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
And that's got to be you know, the so some
of the players are, I mean they're completely shaken up
as you would be. As you would be, I mean,
you would be totally shaken up. You've seen it in
other sports where people have been hit by baseballs or
people have fallen from the rails, or the hockey game

(02:21):
several years ago in Nashville when the puck win in
the stands and there was you know, a little girl
got hit and she ended up, you know, dying from that.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
It is visibly, you see it.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
It happens, and then you see the reactions of the players.
When players get injured, they're visibly shaken up when they're
really injured, not when they're you know, it looks, but
when they're really hurt or something happens, it shakes them.
But this is a fan who just fell over onto

(02:56):
the field.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
Now, sources telling me that the man of the victim
in his twenties. He is in critical condition with a
skull fracture. Police are basically telling me sources telling me
that it looked like he jumped up and him forward
and excitement and his momentum took him over the railing.
One fan telling me it looked like that guy jumping

(03:19):
up to celebrate the Pirates scoring a run, and perhaps
that momentum he hit against the railing and it carried
him over.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
I don't know alcohol was involved.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Now, what we're going to have is this big debate
on should we make the railing twelve feet tall because
now baseball has those nets everywhere so the foul balls
don't go into the crowd and hurt people. I get that,
What are we going to have to do stuff with
the railing now? And are we going to start cutting
people off.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
I was watching the play and all of a sudden,
I saw McCutcheon and the second baseman. We're looking at
right center field and everybody else on the team was
looking that way, what's going on, and realized there was
a body laying on the warning track. The figure wasn't moving,
but the EMTs came out right away with the gurney
and carting them off.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
You did see some of the players taking a knee.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Ever in the outfit was kind of talking about what happened,
because being there you heard some rumblings of like his
friend hopped down on the field, but no one knew
their exact story.

Speaker 8 (04:20):
We're just trying to figure it out.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, definitely a bizarre and horrible thing, and again critical condition,
we'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
It was just, you know, such a weird thing.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Just looked like somebody tossed a mannequin over and that
was a person, because that person wasn't even trying to
you know, you would think your reaction is to try
to move your arms or swing and stuff, and it
didn't even look like that. It just looks like somebody
threw a mannequin over. Because it was just very kind
of limp before it even hit the ground.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Meanwhile, uplifting way.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I know, to start the show cabinet meeting yesterday happening,
I tweeted out something some people mad the mage people
get mad really fast and easy at me because and
Coulter tweeted this, and I thought it was hilarious, and
I retweeted it.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
And I don't do a lot.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
On you know, acts or whatever the hell it is,
but I thought it was funny because she's right, she said,
would be possible to have a cabinet meeting without the
Kim Jung un style tributes, because there's just too much
of that for me, for my liking. Maybe other people
out there like it, me not so much. But obviously

(05:43):
the big thing is the economy. Stupid, it's the economy.

Speaker 9 (05:47):
Now, stock market's not doing so well, and you're saying that's.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
The Biden stock market. Yet you are the president. Can
you explain that.

Speaker 9 (05:55):
Yeah, I'm going to take a credit or discredit for
the stock market, just saying that we inherited a mess
both at the borders. You could look at every single
one of the people here and no matter who it is,
they're doing better and they are far superior to what
took place for four years before us.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Okay, but they asked you about the stock market and
you did blame it on.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
You know, Biden.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Okay, I don't. The blame game in the world of
politics is old.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
When does it become yours? That's what I want to know.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
When does the Because if the market was up twenty percent,
you would claim it.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
When does it become yours?

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I think that's fair because Biden blamed you know, Trump
for a whole bunch of stuff at the beginning of
his and then even through blaming you, No, at some
point in time, you've got to, you know, take responsibility.
Is it early in? Yeah, you could say it's early
in you're going to have crossover. I usually say six
months to get yourself in there, get your sea legs,

(07:15):
implement your ideas and start to see them playing themselves out.

Speaker 9 (07:21):
And also having to do with finance. Look at what
happened with inflation. We had the worst inflation probably in
the history of our country. They say forty eight years,
but I would say in the history of our country
eight Away at people and even though you saw a
stock market going up somewhae because in my case, I
had the biggest stock market increase eighty eight percent in

(07:41):
the last term, in my last term. But I don't
view that the stock market is the end or it's
an indicator. But what the stock market really tells you,
and when you look at the stock market in this case,
is it says how bad a situation we inherit.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
It wasn't the best situation.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I will give you that inflation was definitely not transitory,
wasn't the worst in history. But you know what, we
had the greatest stock market ever? Is that true?

Speaker 10 (08:15):
Chad?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
He did yes, No, no, he'd what do you mean
he didn't.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Bill Clinton for his eight year term two hundred and
ten percent, Donald Trump for his four years sixty seven
percent despite COVID's insanities. Ronald Reagan for his eight was
one hundred and seventeen percent. Now, if we just go
to the S and B, which is a bigger barometer,
I think in this situation, Bill Clinton two hundred and
ten percent for his eight years, Barack one hundred and
eighty one, Dwight Eyesen hour one hundred and twenty nine,

(08:41):
Reagan one seventeen, Trump sixty seven, and Joe Biden.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Twenty four. So there you go.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
If we care about stuff like that, and it's not
the biggest barmber. Walsh Street's not main street, but where
Wall Street is main Street is things like manufacturing. Things
like large corporations deciding whether or not they're going to

(09:18):
expand hold steady spend, not spend, which trickles down to
Main Street in ways like buying certain things from them,
but also with their employees and consumer confidence, which matters

(09:38):
in today's world. I don't know if you're aware of that.
On top of that, Trumps asked about trade tariffs, what's
going on with China? How he feels about the process
right now?

Speaker 10 (09:52):
I look right now, and I told you before they're
having tremendous difficulty because their factories are not doing business.
They made a trillion dollars, would buy a trillion dollars,
even a trillion one with Biden selling this stuff much
of a leader. I mean, you know, somebody said, oh,
the shoves are it's going to be open.

Speaker 11 (10:11):
Well, maybe the children will have two dollars instead of
thirty dollars, you know, and maybe the two dolls will
cost a couple of bucks more than they would go. Really,
but they have ships that are loaded up with stuff,
much of which not all of it, but much of
which we don't need, and we have to make a
fair deal.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
I'm okay with the fair deal. If we get a
fair deal, that's fine. But I continue to go back
to this. If you think that China is the threat
to not just us, but to the world, not just
in the economy, militarily, et cetera, et cetera. If you

(10:51):
think they are those things, why are we even having
this conversation. If you really believe that, I don't know
if you do, I don't know. If you do, Maybe
you do, maybe you don't. And that's why I continue
to say, just be honest with the people and what
you want. Communication will solve a lot of these problems

(11:15):
for the American people. They're willing to give you the
benefit of the doubt if you come forward and say, hey,
let me tell you something. It's gonna be tough certain times.
Our goal here is we may take one or two
steps backwards, but it's to go forward in a much
greater capacity in the coming months and years. So as

Territory and in, fact sixty percent of these rare earth
minerals are under the territory That russia currently.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Has, ooh it's about rare earth. Minerals trump looks at
it in a business. Way this is Where trump really
does well and, says all, right you know, what we'll
get on board with some of this. Stuff but there's a, catch,

(16:34):
right this is not. Altruistic we're hemorrhaging money at. Home
and while everybody makes it out to be that we
just hand them buttloads of.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Cash we.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Don't we give credit cards to giant corporations here that

Show Immigration. Nation, Man If I'm, Trump that's All i'm
talking about is. Immigration it's a. Win it's a. Win
you win with, that right, now stay away from what's

(18:24):
going on in the market and the economy outside of
telling people WHAT i said. Earlier just be honest with.
Them it's gonna be. Bumpy we're gonna have some situations.
Here put your seatbelt. On we're gonna do everything we
can to make sure that we get through as smoothly as.
Possible but the reality is what we're doing is going

(18:45):
to be better for all of, us but it's gonna
take a bit for us to get to that. Point so,
relax enjoy the. Flight let me take you back to
immigration because that's fun right.

Speaker 15 (18:59):
Name the press and scoring a win on his immigration.
Agenda house lawmakers advancing a bill On wednesday Rejecting democratic
efforts to add language BARRING us citizens from being, deported
and that coming just days AFTER ice detainees down In
texas formed these letters so sos while a drone flew,
overhead sparking new concerns about The trump administration's mass deportation.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Efforts S. S, yeah it's weird to see that because they're.
Terrified they don't want to go To.

Speaker 16 (19:30):
SEACOTT a strong, message, indeed concise short to the, point
these detainees trying to communicate to the world in a dramatic.
Fashion so let's go to where this actually took, place
about two hundred miles west Of dallas where we are this,
morning to The Blue bonnet detention.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Facility you can see it. Here the message making headlines
couldn't be more.

Speaker 16 (19:49):
Clear thirty one detainees forming the letters so wes and
internationally recognized as stress signal in the detention center. Yard
and according To, reuters several of these men and their
family say they are not Trende aragua gang, members despite
The trump administration's. Claims, now prior to that call for,
help dozens Of venezuelan detainees there we're on the brink
of being deported At El salvador's maximum security prison as

(20:11):
part of The trump administration's deportation. Efforts that, is until
The Supreme court stepped in placing that temporary pause on
those deportation plans For venezuelan. Migrants for, now these detainees
remain In, texas keeping the president and the judiciary at.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Odds and it's again this whole thing with WHERE i
have problems the due process when it comes To El.
Salvador if you're sending people back To El, salvador what
they do with them when they get, them especially if
we really do think that they are then there's no
doubt in my mind that a vast majority of the
people they sent there are members of one gang or.

(20:49):
Another The venezuelan one is interesting to me because you're
sending them to a foreign. Country, okay that's supposed to be,
here you got to go. Home you send them to
a foreign country where they've not been convicted of a,
crime and they're immediately put in.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Jail so what?

Speaker 8 (21:15):
What? Wait? What?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Well, yeah because we know that's the PROBLEM i have
with a lot of. This i'm all about getting the
worst out of, here let's do. It but you're sending
people to another country who have committed no crime in that,
country and yet they're going to jail in that. Country
we should all be a little concerned about that we've run.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
INTO i would call them rogue.

Speaker 9 (21:41):
Judges somebody could criticize me for. That these are rogue.
Judges these are radical, left generally, radical horrible.

Speaker 10 (21:48):
Judges some judge nobody ever heard of his holiness back
very dangerous for our.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
COUNTRY i, mean you want to see.

Speaker 8 (21:55):
A country that left. Crime let that.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Happen let that, happen, crime crime. Everywhere i'm about getting
the worst out. HERE i have zero problems with. That
let's do. It BUT i do have problems with some
of the stuff that's happening BECAUSE i think it's a
fair question. Asking if you're not asking that, question that's
not a good. Thing you should be critical of some

(22:20):
of these. Moves we should all be. Critical they should
be going back to their home. Country. WELL L salvador
is not taking, Them NO L salvador kind of. Deal
they're taking back their own and so we're, deciding, hey
we're gonna ship you to this country and then away

(22:42):
you go into. Prison wait, What that's WHAT i find.
Alarming What El salvador does to their people IS L salvador's.
Thing they adjudge you to be a person who is

(23:06):
part of a, gang and they want to lock you.
Up that's a damn. Thing AND i get a lot of. Pushback,
ah they're all. Bad get them out of here.

Speaker 17 (23:18):
Now.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Sorry you may feel that, way, right you feel, like,
oh where they get him out of, here. Squad but imagine,
this AND i always use. This you, know A swedish
person comes over, here blah blah blah. Blah so we, decide,
hey we're going to send you back to your. Country

(23:39):
but instead of going to your, country we fly you
To britain and they put you Into, broadmoor which is
a notorious prison over, there or Strange, ways which is
a super notorious prison at one. Time and you've committed
no crime In, britain and we said you're part of
a biker gang or, whatever but we didn't convict you
here of. Anything we should all have an issue with

(24:05):
this while we debate, tattoos which is again hilarious by
the way That garcia, fellow every time you turn, around
he gets worse and.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Worse AND i just laugh.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
At The democrats continuing to do all that they possibly
can to turn him into some sort of.

Speaker 18 (24:24):
Martyr in addition to a twenty twenty one protective order
filing by the wife Of Kilmar Abrigo. Garcia another filing
from twenty twenty has surfaced against the suspected. M. S
thirteen gang member being held In El. Salvador this time
his wife, wrote in part, quote at this, POINT i
am afraid to be close to.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
HIM i have multiple.

Speaker 18 (24:44):
Photos videos of how violent he can be and all
the bruises he has left. Me he told my ex
mother in law that even if he kills, me no
one can do anything to. Him, still Many, democrats some
of whom have traveled To El, salvador are advocate waiting
For Abrigo garcia's, release believing he is an innocent man wrongly.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Deported while he shouldn't have been, deported according to a,
judge To El, salvador doesn't mean he he shouldn't have been.
Deported he had to find a country that would take.
Him but, man they have turned him into a person
who should be popeing there in their. Mind and while
that is, happening every time you turn, around there's something

(25:24):
else about this cat that is Just oh and some
of the stuff in this this filing was, ugly let's say.
Ugly indeed three, two, three, five three eight twenty four
twenty three At Chad Benson. Show that is Your, twitter

(25:44):

The sanders family so we could apologize in, pursue which
we were able to do and the great The sanders

(33:42):

like he ran over somebody with his.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Car you did a prank. Call it was.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Stupid we understand that you don't have to go to.
Therapy nobody has to go to, therapy. Nobody we're all

people are uncomfortable with it is what it.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Is can't fix it at this moment in. TIME i
think what people want is just some. Consistency and here's
Where i'm. Consistent trump yesterday CORE.

Speaker 10 (37:20):
Gdp now we're removing distortions from, imports, inventories and government
spending was up plus three.

Speaker 3 (37:28):

did To. Biden you take out all of the volatile,
stuff you, know the day to day things that you
AND i need, gas, food, energy things like.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
That that's what we. Need those are the things that.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Matter i'm not worried about whether or not my socks
go up in, Price, Okay i'm. NOT i want to,
know like everybody, Else, okay this is the path we're heading, down?

Speaker 8 (38:08):
Right?

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Yeah is it going to be this path?

Speaker 27 (38:10):
Now?

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Yeah or is?

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Tomorrow are we going to go through another door and
then another door and then another.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
Door and the.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
COMPANIES i work, with how are they going to react
to all of these? Things how are they going to
take this stuff? In what's going to be their potential
loss or gain or? What because they don't, Know, yes
none of us. Know but you want to have some

(38:40):
sort of idea of at Least, okay this is it
where you know we came to a fork in a.
Road we're not going to walk twenty steps in this,
direction come, back walk thirty steps in the other, direction
and then walk forty steps. In people want to know
this is it and you're not going to get straight
answers from. Anybody the left leaning media is going to

(39:02):
tell you over and over, again this is the worst
thing that's ever. Happened that's not. True the right leaning
media is going to, say, hey this is our, plans
always been our.

Speaker 28 (39:10):
Plan the president on, defense as many economists blame the
ongoing trade war for rattling the, Markets trump acknowledging prices
on some items like toys may.

Speaker 29 (39:21):
Rise somebody should all the shelves that are going to be, Opening,
well maybe the children will have two dolls instead of thirty,
dollars you, know and maybe the two dolls will cost
a couple of bucks more than they.

Speaker 28 (39:31):
Would normally trade With, china hit with one hundred and
forty five percent, tariffs is expected to dramatically slow the
number of cargo ships coming into The port Of Los
angeles next week expected to be down thirty six percent
from this time last.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Year it's exactly what we. Wanted we'll see. Again he wants.
Patients and AS i said yesterday and continue to, say
apparently you've never Met.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
America we can't get through a TikTok.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
If we think it's too, long even though it might
only be ninety, seconds because we don't have.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Patience oh, Yeah so in my, BUSINESS.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
I try not to be. Hyperbolic I'M i always tell,
Everybody i'm going to give you the. TRUTH i don't
care if it hurts your, feelings your BELIEF i don't care.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
If it hurts your. Identity AND i like the fact that.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
The White house is bringing in new, media but, Sickopans
i'm not thrilled by. That and there's plenty of them.
There AND i was, watching you, know if you guys
haven't seen some of, these they had an influencer slash

(40:57):
new media whatever for like.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Briefing it was it was. Sad it was so.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Sad AND i was watching my buddy's Over Breaking points
talking about this and how you know this is it's
just bizarre and you don't get any respect and it
looks like all you're doing IS i, mean because here's the.

(41:29):
Thing influencers aren't. JOURNALISTS i get, that but you got
an opportunity sit there and ask them real questions.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
And for your.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Audience, yeah maybe, Great but AS i said, Yesterday trump
lives for the, fight.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
And if you're not going to push back on, him
he's not going to respect.

Speaker 30 (41:54):
You here's my main message to a lot of these,
influencers you are being. Used THEY i think you're a fucking.
JOKE i just want to be honest with, you because
let's talk about. This who Did Donald trump choose to
give his one hundred day interviews to The Atlantic time
magazine And Terry moran AT Abc news for an oval

(42:16):
office sit? Down, yeah dyln't invite you to your city
a little briefing so you can glaze them about babies
or whatever is going. On they don't respect you at.
All so even Though trump will sit there and be, Like,
wow what a great, Question trump understands the optics are
humiliating to actually sit down with somebody like, you and

(42:37):
The White house does. Too you're a, Pawd you're a.
Joke you're somebody there just to take up space and
to piss off the.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Media that's a lot of it pissing off the, media
but it's. True it is you don't want to have
an honest conversation and pushback on, anything AND i get
it every. Day so my local, Show Very maga, audience

(43:09):
we're trying to change a bit of. That not that
you shouldn't support the, president you absolutely, should but we're
trying to get, it so, hey we can be at
least open, minded not so cool, Lady let's have honest.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Conversations And i've said this.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
Repeatedly not only will you gain more respect by holding
your own, accountable you'll also if your goal is to
raise your profile in an amongst the people that you
want to be around as an influencer and a, journalist
which are not Really AND i think it's too skewed

(43:44):
now because journalism is whatever anybody says it.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Is everybody's a.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Journalist because you have a, phone you can become part
of the, story you can film the. Story, yeah we've
talked about, this but holding your own accountable is great for.
Everybody and, yes you may lose some people at first
who follow, you but the long term benefits are. Great
and it's sad THAT i watched some of these people.

(44:11):
FAWN i, mean the establishment media doesn't for the. Left
that we've talked about that at, nauseum BUT i watch
some of them just ask the most in, like what.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Do you THINK i should be? Covering that's what a lady.
Asked the cringe is that do you think they Would
they go back and they go oh, yeah, yeah that's.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Exactly who we need asking the hard questions because you're not.

Speaker 22 (44:42):
You, know.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
You've got to be willing to say to the president
or To Carolyn, levitt and they're going to fire back something,
ridiculous and you're going to fire back something at, them
and you, know it's just about asking some real, questions
by the, way real questions THAT maga. Audiences if that's
your influence. Level care about where's The epstein? FILES i

(45:09):
thought THE fbi was going to be a relic and
it was going to be a. MUSEUM i thought there
was going to be you, know two trillion dollars in
cuts and there's only one hundred and sixty billion. ISH i, thought,
day where's the? Wall stuff like. That but people are are,
afraid and part of that is because they are, influencers

(45:36):
and so they've built an. Audience, well they're not interested in.
Truth they're interested in access more than, truth affirmation more than.

Speaker 30 (45:46):
TRUTH i wonder also if it's an audience, thing because
there has been so much of a magapill taken by
a lot of people who are influencers online where you,
know because they've created a feedback loop through which everything
all they do is Glaze Donald trump all the, time
that they don't even have the space or the trust

(46:07):
with their audience to be able to Challenge, trump and
so they find it existentially. DANGEROUS i, MEAN i think
it would be fascinating to watch any of, these like
former free speech warriors go in there and ask about
The palestine, thing, right because that would throw them. Off
they're game. Two They here's the other thing too that
people need to. Understand it's also about. Mindset so the

(46:28):
mindset of A White house press. Sectery when they walk
into a normal briefing, room it's.

Speaker 3 (46:31):
War it's literal. Warfare they're, prepared they're ready to do.

Speaker 30 (46:34):
Battle but when she's walking in, there let me guarantee
you she's not doing the level of preparation that they.
Are whenever they go into the briefing, room that's when
things get. Interesting that's when things are very interesting when
you can hear what they actually.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
Think, yeah when you at it was like when do
see the young one would ask questions TO Kjp and
eventually towards the end Of biden's, presidency when you had
other journalists who were asking her, questions you could see

(47:12):
that it wasn't the stat answer it wasn't a. Softball
they had to think on their, feet and they get.
Exposed they'll Respect i've said, this you go in there
and you give as good as you. Get With, trump
he respects that more than you going in there and.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Kissing his.

Speaker 2 (47:35):
Ass, yesterday ALL i heard from so many people in
my industry he was how Horrible Terry moran.

Speaker 3 (47:45):
Was And i'm, LIKE i don't think he was. HORRIBLE
i don't think he was.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
HORRIBLE i think he asked some questions that we were.
SERIOUS i Think trump did what he. DID i Think
trump enjoys the. Battle he leans into that. Stuff but,
yes some of this stuff is the influencer base is
looking for.

Speaker 3 (48:01):
Access they don't care about.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Truth they're looking to grow their audience so they can
grow their.

Speaker 3 (48:08):
Income they're not interested in.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Really asking serious questions because they want to be hanging out, with.

Speaker 9 (48:24):
Not.

Ceo when special government Employee Elon musk describes his first
one hundred days In washington as quote very very, intense
adding he's proud of the work His doage team has,
done but that it has a long way to go
to reach its one trillion dollar cost cutting. Goal musk
blames any setbacks on what he calls an entrenched set of.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
Interests it was always going to be an uphill. BATTLE
i Love, elon but he stood no. Chance and when
you say, that people, get.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
Oh you're just the. Hater, no, Uh i'm a.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Realist first it was two, trillion then it was going
to be one. Trillion it was nowhere near. That you
were dealing with something that is so entrenched into every

(50:48):
aspect of life in The beltway that the chances of
you getting this done in the way that you wanted
to this is never going to happen because the forces
against you were too strong and it is. Frustrating my

(51:13):
goal for, them AND i said pre this entire thing
is if the worst case scenario is you expose the
insanity and the bureaucracy and the red tape and THE,

(51:35):
bs that'll be a.

Speaker 3 (51:37):
Win and that's what they. Did the they.

Speaker 2 (51:41):
Set out these crazy giant like we're going to cut
all this stuff and then. Fail you, tried BUT i
continue to go back to it'd be easier for you
to get To mars and repopulate it than it is
to cut through the red tape of cutting through the red.

Speaker 3 (52:02):
Tape but you have been treated.

Speaker 9 (52:04):
Unfairly but the vast majority of people in this country
really respect and appreciate, you and this whole room can
say that very strong.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Through really for all the stuff about it's the.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
Bureaucracys there was a lot of people inside of The
trump administration that weren't thrilled by him and are happy
to see him. Go let me know what you think
right here in The Chad Benson, show.

Speaker 9 (52:31):
Been a tremendous.

Speaker 33 (52:32):
Help you opened up a lot of eyes as to
what could be, done and we just want to thank
you very. Much and you know you're invited to stay
as long as you. Want at some, point he wants
to get back home to his cars as His.

Speaker 2 (52:49):
By the, way some of those collaps are not. Genuine they're, like,
yeah thank god you're, gone because that was the other
side of. It and WHEN i say, that it's because
WHEN i talk to people, there they tell me everybody
is fine with his cuts as long as it's not their,
department if that makes. Sense so you want to come
into my department and cut. It you want to come

(53:11):
into my area and take money, Away And i've got
to listen to, you and you're running, around so everybody's
happy With, yeah let's get rid of, waste, fraud and.
Abuse let's cut a bunch of, stuff just not. Me
if you can do somebody, else that'd be.

Speaker 3 (53:27):
Great one hundred and fifty.

Speaker 9 (53:28):
Million let's think of.

Speaker 22 (53:30):
That, yeah they, said.

Speaker 9 (53:35):
Oh good war and a lot you, know a lot
of stuff is being worked.

Speaker 33 (53:39):
On that number could be doubled and even.

Speaker 8 (53:41):
TRIPLED a lot of.

Speaker 9 (53:41):
Things are being worked on that we don't count yet
because it's not quite. There but you've done a fantastic
job and really appreciate it very.

Speaker 33 (53:48):
Much you ran you, know he also an honor to
work with your incredible.

Speaker 8 (53:51):
ACCOUNTANT i just like to say thank, you you, know.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
Streat to work with, you And god bless.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
Him he, said, look we did things right seventy to
eighty percent end of the.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
Time and he hopes one day this thing could reach a.

Speaker 2 (54:02):
Trillion and he doesn't Think doge is going, anywhere AND

and WHAT i love WHEN i hear people, go you,
know as president is.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
Fascist? AUTHORITARIAN i, go really you?

Speaker 2 (55:26):
Think because if he, is do you think he would
allow people to come out and say.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
He's fascist and authoritarian and sing songs like?

Speaker 34 (55:34):
This we should be the blessedst to have that look
to see him get run over by semi. Truck what
if he just, died say a heart, attack would anyone,
Cried there'd be a party out in the streets and
be spontaneously combusted in his golfing. Cleet it's bludged by
seals wielding wooden, clubs done him by a kangaroo with
one big. Kicker all that McDonald's finally does the trick.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
Again authoritarian fascism probably shut that cat.

Speaker 3 (56:05):
Up i'm just saying that might. Happen, meanwhile.

Speaker 2 (56:11):
Remember all the people that Hated trump wanted to Leave,

rent because that's too. Crazy it'll put a lot of
people in.

Speaker 2 (59:40):

Speaker 35 (01:00:01):
Something i'm not paying my. Debt you can join me
on this or you. Cannot i'm gonna take a picture of,
it And i'm going to keep records of the debt
THAT i have right now because when the interest rates
go up on, That i'm not paying those. Either even
when they start to meet our, demands and the demands are.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
By the way she has, DEMANDS i had to make

SCARED i get, that but we gotta protect. It she's not.

Speaker 35 (01:00:59):

Speaker 35 (01:01:13):
Be delusional right. NOW i will stand here right, now be,
illusional make fun of me all you.

Speaker 23 (01:01:17):
Want this is what we need to. Do this is
what we need to.

Speaker 35 (01:01:19):
Do and if they don't meet our, demands then they
then what we're gonna do is then we're gonna stop
paying a.

Speaker 37 (01:01:24):
Rent.

Speaker 3 (01:01:25):
Okay so at, first at first this was.

Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
Unsecured so we started out with we're paying everything but our.
Rent we are now a minute fifteen into the rent
and screw, It we're now not paying our, rent.

Speaker 35 (01:01:41):
But for right, now stop paying your, bills stop paying your.
Debt we're gonna start. There and it's, like what the
ball DO i have to owe my credit score for
the house That i'll never. BUY i already am not
allowed to rent BECAUSE i don't make enough. MONEY i
have to have a co signer, Anyway so what does
my credit quod score even?

Speaker 23 (01:01:58):
Matter what does it?

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Matter?

Speaker 38 (01:02:01):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (01:02:01):
Literally what does it?

Speaker 6 (01:02:03):
Matter?

Speaker 22 (01:02:03):

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
Literally who's excited to co sign for? Her we WANT.

Speaker 35 (01:02:11):
I want do dot. Office we're done with. Him we're
done with. Him and free health care for all. People
i'm so dead, serious, Guys we're done with.

Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
THIS i like.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
It the ed ed free health care for all. People
she just totally threw that in at the. End it
reminded me of Die hard when they're.

Speaker 37 (01:02:36):
Negotiating following people are to be released from their captors
In Northern, ireland the seven members of The New Provo
front In, canada the five imprisoned leaders Of liberte De
quebec In Sri, lanka the nine members of The asian dawned.

Speaker 22 (01:02:53):
About them In time.

Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
Magazine that's what made me.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
LAUGH i just, thought oh, wow that sounds like that
part of the end where she just throws, It oh,
yeah free health care for.

Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
Everybody pay your.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Bills and it sucks BECAUSE i do believe that a
younger generation has been sold a bill of. Goods they
have been sold a bill of goods in such a
way that.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
They were, told go to, school do all these.

Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
Things take out these, loans you're gonna come. Out jobs
are gonna be waiting for. You you're gonna make all this.
Money and that's that's that's not.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
It it hasn't.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
Happened it Hasn't and SO i get how frustrated people,
Are but you gotta pay your. Bills you've got to
pay your. Bills and we are gonna see here in
the next ninety, days not just because of tariffs and.

(01:04:05):
Everything think about all these young gen z and millennials
who haven't been paying for their student loans because OF
covid that was extended and extended and now that's. Over
what does that look like coming in the next ninety
days or. So my assumption is it ain't gonna look.

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Good it. IS i have a feeling.

Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
That we are going to see the first of the
debt bubbles pop and unlike two thousand and, eight it's
not gonna be. HOUSING i was talking to you a
couple of people. Yesterday you, know you, know the issue
with the housing markets for a lot of people right
now is.

Speaker 3 (01:04:53):
Interest, rates.

Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
Because so many people are in homes who may want
to move have some an amazing interest rate.

Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
That they don't want to give it.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Up they don't so as much as interest rates feel
like they're way too. High and if you, know, historically
if you go and, LOOK i, mean WHENEVER i talk about,
This i'll get people. Go, MAN i was pretty excited
WHEN i got mine back in the eighties and it
was like twelve point five.

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
Percent you're, like.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Dah but if you've got a two point nine why
would You unless you're gonna make so much money on your,
house you're gonna pay cash for something and not have to.
Worry but if you're chances, are if you're living in

(01:05:41):
the same city or in the same, area.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
You're going to do.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
What make some money on your, house take out a
loan that's going to cost you more for half the
house you. Had that's not you're not doing. That you're
not doing that at. All so while the people worry,
about you, know the interest, rates when it comes to,

(01:06:08):
housing and it's a buyer's market now for, some.

Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
But for a lot of people out.

Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
There my buddy here is, like, man we were, looking
but we're just, like we're not giving up our.

Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
Rate IF i could take my rate with, me it'd be,
great BUT i. Can't so there you are.

Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Woooo three two, three, five three, eight twenty, four twenty
three At Chad benson's show as your ex as well
as Your insta as well as your YouTube and Your,
facebook and real quickly back to the housing, crisis you

(01:06:52):
know two thousand and eight when everything went to hell
in a. Handbasket you, know you had all these people
had balloon payments coming to and they were just never
going to be able to afford. This everybody walk away from,
homes everything, collapsed overnight credit card, debt some of this other.
Stuff it's not. Great it's not the. Same so you're
not going to see homes. Abandoned but if this thing,

(01:07:13):
burst it is still going to be. Ugly and that's
a BIG. Gif that is a big. Gif god willing it.
Doesn't but if the economy slows and people get to
the point where they're, LIKE i can't even afford to
make decisions about WHO i, pay BECAUSE i don't even
have enough to pay a few let. Alone all that's

(01:07:35):

Speaker 39 (01:08:46):
Show sashtag me, too hashtag, immigration hashtag. Help i'm trapped
in a hashtag factory AND i can't get out The
Chat Benson.

Speaker 3 (01:09:06):
Show pope and ain't.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Easy the conclave getting closer right. Now The Catholic church
has a, temp but they're going to get a real pope.

Speaker 40 (01:09:17):
Soon we were able to speak with one cardinal From,
Venezuela Cardinal Puros. Cardoso he was speaking to us In.
Spanish he's a non. Elector he's aged out of actually
voting in the, conclave but he gave us an insight
into how they're. Thinking we asked him what he wanted
to see in the next, pope but he replied by,
SAYING i want to see a continuation of the last.
Popes everyone reads into what these comments. Mean we know

(01:09:38):
there's sort of this ongoing battle between conservatives and more
progressive liberal. Popes at this, point though it is anyone's,
guests and historically conclaves have been incredibly difficult to.

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Predict that is, interesting but that's the battle that they
have right, now which is are they going to stay
the course or are they going to go more?

Speaker 3 (01:10:00):
Conservative Catholic church has.

Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
Issues it may expand in parts Of africa as well
as parts Of, asia but when it comes to you,
know parts Of, europe well Throughout, europe and it comes
to here In, america they're not expanding their. Tent and
there's a younger generation that's looking at a revival when

(01:10:22):
it comes to, religion especially Gen. Z they're rebelling against
their parents by going to church. Dangerous but the interesting
thing about that is they're not going To catholics sermons and.

Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
Masses they're going to, younger hipper.

Speaker 40 (01:10:37):
Churches this is when they talk about issues that are
important to the, church when they really shape what the
future of the church will, be what they want to
see in the next. Pope and it's also when people like,
me reporters a general public can actually try to speak
to the cardinals because after the general, congregations they walk
out into the square and people can walk beside, them
can ask them. Questions when the conclave, starts they're on

(01:10:58):
lockdown right. Now is the that you might be able
to get a few.

Speaker 3 (01:11:01):
Insights they're at. Lockdown there is no phones or.

Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
Anything in, fact they're sweeping every day for spy stuff
like bugs and.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Whatnot think about, That, wow that's.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Crazy one of the other things is there is a
cardinal that wants to be, there but because of issues
he had legally because of. Finances he, appealed said, HEY
i want to be, there and then he finally said,
nah and not going to be.

Speaker 40 (01:11:32):
There we Know Cardinal betchu tried to appeal that. Decision
you wanted to get back into the, conclave but when
he withdrew his, appeal it was applied by The college Of.
Cardinals the any people saw this as sort of a
president setting. Case and that's why these discussions around church
finances are so important for the future of The Catholic.

Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Church, well they are important because you guys have had
to spend god knows how much money paying off you,
know survivors of things that happened to, them which is not.
Good and then you've had people who've dipped their hands
in the jar if you will three, two, three, five, three,
eight twenty four to twenty three At Chad Benson. Show

(01:12:10):
that is your Extu, insta your, YouTube and Your facebook
like and.

Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
Subscribe you can always communicate with us there ready on
The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
Show so the conclave starts next, WEEK i think the.
Seventh so what a week from today or Next wednesday
something like. That they kick, off AND i don't know
how long it's gonna. LAST i don't think anybody. Does
this one seems to be really up in the, air
and there's only to be one hundred and FORTY i

(01:12:39):
think at least at this point that are eligible to
vote and to be voted. On my money is on
a more progressive, POPE i guess is WHERE i think
they may put their money IF i had to put
money on into, pope AND i would never put money On.

Speaker 3 (01:12:58):
Pope and we'll do that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
Week we will break down top to the Bottom pope
and stuff Chat benson.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Job this is The Chad Benson, Show The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Show interesting indeed For Buddy Mark halpern reporting on something
today that is very interesting when it comes To trump
and the folks in and Around. Trump could we be
seeing our first you gotta go?

Speaker 41 (01:13:48):
Situation so this, morning just to take a little bit
behind the, CURTAIN i was headed into my location to
do the, program AND i got a text from a
very nice source who, said you want to call. Me
and it turns out that three different people to the
original source and two, others have confirmed that the plan
now by The White house is to remove The National

(01:14:09):
Security Advisor Mike, waltz who was On Fox news this
morning just not that long, ago and his Deputy Alex,
wang and much of the member current staff team at
The National Security council because of unhappiness throughout The National
Security establishment of how they're. Doing The West wing's, unhappy
The State, department The treasury. Unhappiness and of course this
was around Before Signal. Gate it was widely reported That

(01:14:31):
Signal gate ironically may have Saved waltz's job because The
president didn't want to be seen as if he were
giving in To Jeffrey, goldberg his new best. Friend but
there's lots of levels of, unhappiness and it's less About
Signal gate than it is, about AS i understand it
from my, sources a general belief that it's not being
run efficiently in an organized.

Speaker 3 (01:14:49):
Way that's not good at.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
All then you get to the points, like, well who's
going to replace. HIM i, mean we're one hundred days
In my, god he was just Off fox this. Morning
do you have to know the writings on the? Wall,
well who the hell would replace?

Speaker 41 (01:15:05):
Him it may happen as early as. Today it may
not happen, ever because It's Donald. Trump but the plan
is for it to happen. Soon maybe maybe this. Weekend
one sort of says this. Weekend we'll. See but the
original choice to replace The National Security, advisor for many
in the government was a guy Named Christopher. Landau he's

(01:15:25):
currently The Deputy secretary Of. State he is said to
be doing such a good job and it's so valuable
To mark Or rubio That rubio, says, no you can't
have my. Guy so he's got job blocked because he's doing.
Well some people have experienced, that you know what that's.
Like So, Landau i'm, told will not get the, job
even though he's very highly thought. Of because he's so
highly thought, of a candidate that's being discussed who has
supported at very high levels within the administration Is Steve,

(01:15:47):
whitkoff The president's friend and special envoy To. Everything Wick
cooff has a lot of senior level, support but he
also has.

Speaker 14 (01:15:54):
Enemies he does have.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Enemies WHY i like stuff like this Because Mark, halprin
who was one of the first people that caught up
in THE me two, movement it's rebuilt. Himself but one
of the things that anybody will tell you if you
know anything about politics in the Belt, way there is
nobody that has more, access more connections than this. Guy

(01:16:24):
and so when he says, something for the most, part
it's going.

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
To be spot. On he may miss by a day or.

Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
Two, well they think we're gonna get rid of him,
tomorrow but it could be next week and again With
trump like he just it could be never because Of.

Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
Trump But, Witkoff i've heard nothing but good.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
Things everybody's going to have enemies in politics because your
goal in politics when you're not a elected. Official when
you're an elected, official your goal is to always get.
Reelected your goal in politics when you're not elected is
to defend your territory and try to take, more meaning
take another step up a, ladder and that usually means

(01:17:05):
on somebody else's.

Speaker 41 (01:17:06):
Back two of my three sources pointed me to this
A New York post story that ran. Yesterday very strange
story popped up in The New York post in the
middle of the day, yesterday Savaging Steve whitcoff with anonymous,
quotes saying he's over, in way over his, head he
shouldn't be leading The russian, negotiations that other countries are
confused by, him that people in the government think he's.

(01:17:26):
Amateurish the story was filled with savage blank.

Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Quotes do we have the?

Speaker 8 (01:17:31):
Money Quote, PAUL i don't know if we do or.

Speaker 41 (01:17:33):
Not there we, go nice, guy but a dumbling f
e eighty At this person said of Witz, cough he
should not be doing this, alone meaning negotiating these deals.
Now will his critics be more happy with him as
head of THE nsc, not according to my, Sources and
they believe that some people believe that the reason The
post story popped up was because word was beginning to
spread That waltz was out and That witcough was his likely.

(01:17:55):
Replacement and what the speculation. Is This New York post
story is aimed at stopping.

Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
That we're going to find. Out BUT.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
I like that there's always going to be turnover in, Politics,
OKAY i, mean because the reality of these jobs is
they're twenty four to, seven and With trump, there it's
almost like you have thirty hours in the day you
have to try to squeeze. In there's always THAT i

(01:18:30):
it got a little embarrassing last. TIME i think he
surrounded himself at times with a few better. People BUT
i also think there's a lot to the clown. Show
i'm still not a fan Of Pete. Hegseth you know
you given him. TIME i think he's you, know the
People i've talked to said he is about, him it's about,

(01:18:55):
Popularity it's about a lot of things THAT i think
he runs people wrong way in in a lot of.
Ways AND i think he rolled into the gig as
a person who wanted to not survey the land then make,
decisions but came in there to do whatever the hell

(01:19:18):
he wanted to, do to have a in crowd which
he was the head of and everybody else was on the.
Outside AND i think that rubbed a lot of people
the wrong. Way and ANYTIME i bring that up in
my local, show woo DO i condemn you? Don't, Now
jamppeta TRY i. Have and it was funny because AS

(01:19:41):
i AS i talk about, this WHAT i love IS
i will get people inevitably that will contact me and
SAY i can't believe you're being in this mean.

Speaker 3 (01:19:49):
Depete you probably think he's a. Rapist you're, like, what
how did how did we get to?

Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
That that's WHAT i want to, know because when you
are obsessed with affirmation and these certain beliefs that you
have of your identity in your political, world and you've

(01:20:17):
wrapped yourself up in, that anything that juxtapose a position
that you, have your first instinct isn't to, go, well that's.
Interesting i've never thought of it that. Way your first
instinct is, well you probably think, this, okay thanks for. That,
meanwhile if you guys haven't, heard for all of the

(01:20:41):
chaos and craziness of the first hundred, days.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
We do have an thing that's getting dead when it
comes To russia.

Speaker 37 (01:20:54):
AND.

Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
Us so there is going to be a, well the
deal is sign and we're going to get some of
their goodies when it comes to bits and pieces that
are in the, ground which is, awesome but it also
is going to Help ukraine because some of that stuff

(01:21:15):
that we want is underneath the ground that Currently russia.

Speaker 12 (01:21:20):
Occupies thanks To President trump's tireless efforts to secure a lasting,
PIECE i am glad to announce the signing of today's
Historic Economic partnership agreement between The United states And.

Speaker 3 (01:21:33):
Ukraine pretty pumped about. This so what does that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Mean, well we're gonna have the opportunity now to recoup
some of that. Money it's not, retroactive so it doesn't
go back to when the war first started we started
giving them. Stuff but it is going to give them
now the, OPPORTUNITY i think to feel better The ukrainians
knowing that we have some other skin in the game

(01:21:57):
that has nothing to do with supplying them with Weapon.

Speaker 12 (01:22:00):
Today's agreement signals clearly To russian leadership that The trump
administration is committed to a peace process centered on a,
free sovereign and Prosperous ukraine over the long.

Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
Term i'm sure he's, no, uh he's not thrilled about.

Speaker 27 (01:22:17):
That old, booter Old pooter's not thrilled about. THAT i
tell you that right. Now jed not thrilled about that at. All,
NO i wouldn't expect him to be thrilled by.

Speaker 2 (01:22:28):
That but it is a good thing For ukraine because
what we kind of threw out there. Originally AND i
get What trump. Is he doesn't want to Criticize. Putin
putin still has the upper. Hand you, know the other
day we've been and we've been not just, us the
world's been talking about the one hundred men versus gorilla,

(01:22:49):
battle and we broke it down how it would work
because we ran a whole bunch of models on THIS
ai stuff that we have and at the end of the,
day it was numbers versus. Nature, well it's the same
thing With. Russia at the end of the, day it's.
Numbers they have just too. Many their numbers are too
big versus the numbers Of, ukraine and even their wont to.

(01:23:11):
Survive so you don't want to Piss putin off to
a point where he's, like screw, It i'm just going
to keep going and going and. Going at least not.
Yet AND i Think trump has finally kind of had
enough and Said i've tried to do. Everything so now
that the deal is, done and the important part of it,

(01:23:32):
is there is minerals and resources that we signed on
too with this deal that are under, occupation if you,
will By. Russia so this land is currently residing in

(01:23:54):
areas Where russia currently holds that. Ground and it's good
BECAUSE i think it's gonna make them feel, Like, okay,
well you got some skin in the. GAME i think
you're gonna stick this.

Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
Show so yesterday had a chance to hang out a
little bit With Jason.

Speaker 2 (01:31:29):
Whitlock it's controversial at, times just no doubt about.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
That says some.

Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
Stuff but one of the THINGS i started our conversation off,
with and you can see the whole thing on our
YouTube channel if you have a chance to go there
and check it, out was the Movie, sinners who he
thinks is one of the most racist films of all. Time,
NOW i haven't seen the. MOVIE i don't. KNOW i
don't know what it's. LIKE i haven't seen it in the,

(01:31:55):
TRAILER i wasn't quite sure what it. Was and THEN i, realized,
oh it's a vampire, MOVIE i. Think But jason seems
to think it's a movie about, race WHICH i didn't
even think. Of all, Right, jason you Saw? Centners was
it really that? Bad was it really that. Racist, Again
i've not seen, it SO i reserve judgment on that

(01:32:19):
portion of the film Because.

Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
I've not seen, it but you, have AND i was
surprised by your.

Speaker 8 (01:32:24):
Take it was.

Speaker 42 (01:32:26):
Bad, look people are desensitized to, it and people have
just accepted it as. Normal that movie was as nakedly
racist as any movie that's been made in the last
one hundred and ten.

Speaker 8 (01:32:39):
Years i'll go back To birth of A.

Speaker 42 (01:32:41):
Nation it had a clear message the white man is the,
devil and if you missed the, point they came up
with some, stupid ridiculous. Ending it was, like, oh just
in case you missed the, Point we're gonna have THE
kkk show up at this place for no, reason no,

(01:33:03):
foreshadowing no, nothing And MICHAEL. B jordan's gonna shoot them.
All he's gonna ambush and kill them. All and so
this is After MICHAEL. B jordan's character spent the entire previous,
night all night and into the morning fighting vampires and
everybody dies except for him and one other, guy and
then out of with no, Foreshodowing MICHAEL. B jordan gets

(01:33:26):
to the end of the night or first thing in the, morning,
says let me go hide in the woods because THE
kkk is gonna come And i'm gonna ambush and kill them.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
All playing some of our interview Yesterday Jason, whitlock he,
has of, course works with At, blaze and he was
ON espn And fox for a long. Time and we'll
get to some sports stuff here in a little. Bit
we're talking about the Movie, sinners and this is WHAT
i asked him. About is not just a vampire. MOVIE
i thought it was just a vampire. Movie, Man it's

(01:33:55):
a spoof or a.

Speaker 42 (01:33:56):
Takeoff not a, spoof but a takeoff, it, Basically pasoba pointed.
Out and THEN i went and read up On dust
To Dust Till, down a Famous George clooney movie That
i'm probably going to try to. Watch but it just
basically ripped off that, plot moved it to nineteen thirty
Two mississippi and made white people the devils and the

(01:34:16):
vampires and they sucked the blood and they want your
songs and they want your memories and blah blah. Blah
and the only way we can have happiness and harmony
is if we all joined the dark, side if you
all become like. Me And i'm it was nakedly, racist

(01:34:37):
but you, know we've just come to accept.

Speaker 2 (01:34:39):
It playing some of our interview yesterday With Jason, whitlock
who you can see him On YouTube's got a huge
following there AND ax and all of these. Things of,
course big sports guy for a long, TIME Espn fox
you can see now too as, well working with The,
blaze and we talked about a lot of different, things

(01:35:00):
AND i advise you to go check it. Out he
said some stuff THAT i think, is you, know for
a lot of people out, there pretty controversial about who
should be able to vote and who. Shouldn't and you
go over to our YouTube and check it. Out but
one of the things we got onto was sports because
he was a sports guy first and, foremost and over

(01:35:22):
the last several, years as the lies really started to
blur and sports became something other than what it used to,
be which was, sports and athletes say, hey we're gonna
we're a, brand but we're also going to speak our
mind when it comes to politics and everything.

Speaker 3 (01:35:38):
ELSE i asked him straight, out, man you missed sports at?
All do you miss?

Speaker 2 (01:35:44):
Sports because you KNOW i was sitting there just thinking
you must have. BEEN i, mean you've talked about the
Shitter sanders, thing and all of that, Stuff but do you,
miss like some of the day to day stuff of
the x's and o is more than the controversy around
it and the pop culture and.

Speaker 3 (01:36:00):
POLITICS i miss sports the way it used to.

Speaker 42 (01:36:04):
BE i don't miss current. Sports current sports are very.
Divisive the victimhood mentality has slipped into. Sports Shador sanders
Beyond sanders's son makes it fool of himself before THE nfl,
draft but somehow when he doesn't get drafted as highest

(01:36:25):
he thinks or everyone, expects he's now a.

Speaker 8 (01:36:28):
Victim there's a.

Speaker 42 (01:36:29):
Collusion there's a conspiracy that they were afraid of him
because he's a, strong outspoken black, man and there's just
no truth to any of. That and so the current
iteration of, Sports, NO i don't. Miss it's the athletes
make too much. Money they're, ungrateful and they're. Entitled So
i'm kind of glad that you KNOW i cover sports

(01:36:51):
from further, away because WHEN i was covering, SPORTS i
really liked OR i really Respected Michael, jordan really Liked Tiger.
WOODS i really Like Magic, johnson great deal of respect
For Larry, bird The Great, Foot John elway And Derrick
thomas And Walter payton and the guys That Reggie white

(01:37:15):
had a great deal of respect for, them AND i
just don't have that same respect for these modern.

Speaker 8 (01:37:21):
Athletes i'm sure some of them are.

Speaker 42 (01:37:23):
Great, guys but most of them have an entitlement and
they make so, much such an obscene amount of money
that just it's an. Obscene we've built a society where
we're paying people that haven't intellectually evolved and just entertain.

Speaker 8 (01:37:43):
Us they offer no other benefit to.

Speaker 42 (01:37:44):
Society we're paying them obscenes amounts of, money and it's a.

Speaker 3 (01:37:49):
Mistake last, question And i'll let you. BOUNCE i know you.
Had we're tight here on.

Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Time it's funny you talk about the obscene amount of
money all that kind of stuff in.

Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
SPORTS i love, sports BUT i don't watch it LIKE
i used.

Speaker 2 (01:38:01):
To it's not because it's, woe because just because you,
Know i've got a family AND i love. That BUT
i will SAY i look at sports today and my
frustration level is through the roof because we have allowed
politics to permeate into, everything and there are just some
THINGS i don't. Want so you look at somebody Like
Stephen a and what is going on with, him and

(01:38:22):
the fact that and, look he may be a great.

Speaker 3 (01:38:24):
GUY i don't.

Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
KNOW i, mean he's, entertaining there's no doubt about. That
AND i think at this point of time he might
be the leader of The Democratic party because they're so.
Bad but the reality is, is you, know it's like
the mini you open up your, mouth you, know fifty
percent of the country's going to have a disdain for.

Speaker 3 (01:38:39):
You AND.

Speaker 2 (01:38:41):
I that's my. FRUSTRATION i want sports to be the
getaway from. EVERYTHING i don't want it to be another
place where people are going to preach to me.

Speaker 8 (01:38:50):
Without, question and particularly in.

Speaker 42 (01:38:52):
Sports When STEPHEN A, smith and it's hard for people
to believe, this but he knows very little about. SPORTS i,
mean he has no real command of. Sports he's kind
of a gimmick and a. Fraud and then to see
someone who knows so little about sports then, transition, Hey
i'm gonna tell you about. Politics he knows nothing about,

(01:39:13):
politics and he knows he knows nothing about, it and
that's why he goes on these interviews and he just,
Says Kamala harris is a bad candidate and The democrats
need a better. Candidate he hasn't ever once, said, hey
here's a policy THAT i believe.

Speaker 8 (01:39:27):
In here's the solution THAT i believe.

Speaker 42 (01:39:29):
In all he's putting together this presidential bid on is, Like,
Hey i'm going to be more manly and mascular AND
i can't wait to Debate trump or WHOMEVER Jv.

Speaker 8 (01:39:41):
Vance it's a gimmick and a.

Speaker 42 (01:39:42):
Stick he's uninformed and he's just another unqualified.

Speaker 8 (01:39:47):
Person he's a.

Speaker 42 (01:39:48):
FEMALE i, mean a male version Of Kamala, harris and
you know he's likely seems to be in position to
get away with.

Speaker 2 (01:39:59):
It that's, interesting that's. INTERESTING i appreciate you coming, on,
MAN i know you're.

Speaker 8 (01:40:03):
Busy thank you so, Much, CHET i really appreciate.

Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
It that was a bit of our conversation yesterday With Jason.
Whitlock you can see and hear the whole thing on
our YouTube, Channel so if you have a chance to go,
there like and, subscribe we appreciate. That speaking Of, kamala
she did make an appearance speculation about her running to
be governor of the great state Of. California used to

(01:40:26):
be a great. State the state itself is, fine it's
the people who run it that are in.

Speaker 43 (01:40:30):
Sate we all Know President trump and his administration and
their allies are counting on the notion that fear can be.
Contagious they are counting on the notion that if they
make some people, afraid it will have a chilling effect on.

(01:40:50):
Others but what they're, overlooking what they have, overlooked is
that fear is not the only thing that's.

Speaker 36 (01:40:58):
Contagious courage is. Contagious, wow she's. Awful sort of back
it up a little. Bit when you ran for president
of The United, states.

Speaker 2 (01:41:13):
You and everybody else tried to use fear as a
reason to vote for you and Against Donald, trump that
the world would come to an end, essentially and that.

Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
Without you there would be No.

Speaker 43 (01:41:33):
America americans who were speaking out to say it is
not okay to violate court, orders it is not okay
to detain and Disappear american citizens or anyone without due,
process the courage of judges to uphold the rule of
law in the face of those who would jail. Them

(01:41:56):
of universities that are defying unconstant ju shall demands that
threatened the pursuit of truth and academic.

Speaker 3 (01:42:05):
Independence you know WHAT i haven't heard from. Her god's dedn'ttional.

Speaker 43 (01:42:12):
Crisis we are living in a moment when the checks
and balances upon which we have historically relied have begun to.
Buckle and we here know that when the checks and
balances ultimately, collapse If congress fails to do its, part
or if the courts fail to do their, part or

(01:42:34):
if both do their part but The president defies them, anyway, well,
friends that is called a constitutional.

Speaker 25 (01:42:42):
Crisis everybody can have a drink, Now, ah goodness me that,
close that, close they, say Doing president of The United,
States how do you guys feel about out there at

night deportations came, Up Deportation nation and.

Speaker 3 (01:46:27):
Our body Lonely, scott why.

Speaker 38 (01:46:29):
Is it that we can let twenty million people into
the country just walk across, whatever and there's no real
process for them to do? That but then we have
to individually pick out every single person and go through
years upon years upon years of paperwork.

Speaker 1 (01:46:45):
And this and then the other.

Speaker 38 (01:46:46):
On all we're trying to do is send them back
to where they came from because they came here illegally
in the first, place twenty million in with no. Process
how do you get twenty million out with years and
years of people fighting every single Case.

Speaker 2 (01:46:57):
It's What i've been. Saying think of immigration like weight
gain and weight. Loss so you can put weight on
pretty damn. Fast we all recognize that you put it
on pretty.

Speaker 3 (01:47:11):
Fast there you, go it's going. On look at.

Speaker 2 (01:47:13):

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
