Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
We'll get to what's going on in Minnesota in a minute,
as well as what happened last night with ilhan Omar,
but obviously still for a large swath of the country,
as the kids would say, it's cold AF.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Now it's time for the Chad Action News weather reports.
When weather weathers, we weather the storm.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
And we do weather the store. When weather weathers and
you guys understand the weathering of the weather. What's going
on out there. Let's take a quick snapshot of everything
that's happening in the cold Arctic ways.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Cold weather alerts Texas all the way up into Michigan,
then back down into Florida. In fact, it feels like
it's about twenty eight in Orlando this morning, and subzero
winches from Little Rock all the way to New York
up in Detroit where it feels like ten below.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
A little bit of warming midweek, it's minimal.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
We get back to Arctic geara later in the week,
and then we'll be watching a potential storm come out
of the Gulf.
Speaker 5 (01:07):
It's going to be close call for the East coast.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
So where I am, it's a cold AF and it's
weird because so the sun came out for a little
bit yesterday, and so, as you guys know, I walked
to work some days because I choose to be out
in the great and beautiful nature. And as I walked
to work, it's gorgeous a lot of times, sometimes not
(01:33):
so much. Monday, I had to walk on the streets
because the sidewalks were nothing but ice, and the streets
for the most part, had been driven on so much
that a vast majority of the ice had disappeared. But
on top of all that, the giant trees most of
the areas had fallen down because of the heavyweight of
the ice. I had to drive yesterday because it was
(01:58):
so bad the ice. It was crazy. I was like,
my goodness. I walked across the street finally, our our
little store that we go to, you know, get old
snacks and stuff like that, across the street. I go
over there in the morning, and the parking lot, honestly,
I could have had ice skates on, it was that icy.
(02:20):
And I was talking to them because it was the
first day there was opened since everything hit, and they
said they couldn't get out of the garage. First of power,
then the garage itself was frozen shot. Now, if you're
out there, be careful driving wise because it's dangerous. Black
ice is super dangerous. But there's a lot of other
(02:40):
things going on.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
At least thirty people killed across eleven states. The small
city of Bottom, Texas mourning the loss of three siblings
who drown in an icy pond, the school superintendent saying, quote,
we are devastated by this unimaginable loss.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Yeah, and several people from hypothermia have died. One of
the things about the hypothermia is so much of this
can be prevented, okay, and it's simple. A lot of
it is older people who are in fixed income situations
(03:15):
who are doing everything they can to protect what little
income they have, and their fear of you know, oh
my bill's going to be so high, I'm not going
to be able to eat. Yeah, just make a phone call.
It's that simple. If you know somebody and you can
help relative friends, something like that, it's a simple thing.
We say that we care here on the Chad Benson Show.
(03:35):
Despite my snarky attitude at times, we do care. Okay,
So be careful out There's still going to be cold
in a lot of parts of the country. And another
cold snap is coming in. Luckily, I don't think of
the things bringing any kind of weather with it outside
of the freezing cold. So, speaking of crazy, last night
(04:01):
chaos with old Ilhan Omar Trump's favorite.
Speaker 7 (04:06):
The man using a syringe to squirt a liquid. Witnesses
they smelled like vinegar at the congresswoman. She was quickly arrested.
Omar speaking out against a federal immigration crackdown, saying she
won't be intimidated. President Trump responding overnight, calling Omar a fraud,
telling ABC News she probably had herself sprayed knowing her.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Yeah, that's the first thing I thought of when I
saw it. I'm like, ah, what do you bet the
Right's going to come out and go she did this
to herself? And sure enough, within minutes, Trump's like, it's
she did it to her. You know, she did it.
She did it to herself. It's something she had to do.
She couldn't stop herself. She had to. She had to
(04:48):
do it. Okay, I don't know, you know again, I know,
I think the guy's fifty five. Outside of that, you know,
is he a Trump support? That's the first thing everybody
asks is who'd you vote for? So Therefore I can
make a snap decision on you. Who'd you vote for? Oh, okay,
(05:12):
you voted for this person. Because you voted for this person,
obviously you mean this. I don't know who he voted for. Online.
Of course, he's a MAGA supporter, according to two pictures
on a Facebook. How about this, he's unwell and a lunatic.
There's always that. Speaking of Minnesota, Yeah, things are happening there. Obviously.
(05:37):
Yesterday Tom Holman sent in the adults in the room
more competent. There's a two hour meeting between Trump and
Christy Nome and several others. Trump came out and backed
her yesterday. But the reality of it's like, to me,
it's like one of those things where I always feel
like it's if you ever watch sports, right and they go,
(05:57):
we back our you know, our coach. When you get
the backing usually means we back him until we find
somebody else that can do the job that we find acceptable.
And there's no doubt the way that this thing has
been handled is not acceptable.
Speaker 8 (06:14):
President Trump changing his tone after the ICU nurse was
shot and killed here in Minneapolis late today, after sending
borders oar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to take over federal
immigration operations. President Trump now saying, in his words, they're
going to quote de escalate a little bit. But the
President rejecting any characterization that the reduction in personnel was
(06:35):
a retreat.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Well, he can't look weak, Obviously, he can't do that
because his people want him to go harder, stronger, and
which we all know is asinine and ridiculous. At this
point in time, we're in a situation where it is nasty,
it is ugly, and people want accountability. And that includes
(06:57):
people on the right in politics who are saying we
need some accountability. She should be gone, Absolutely, she should
be gone. And we are not happy with this. And
we're talking about senators and congressmen and women who are
(07:18):
coming out saying, yeah, this isn't what we're about. So
preliminary reports about the.
Speaker 8 (07:25):
Shooting, ABC News has learned that two federal agents open
fire in the fatal shooting of Minneapolis icunurse alex Pretty.
DHS sending a preliminary report to Congress outlining their initial
findings after Saturday's fatal shooting. The report says DHS conducted
quote a preliminary review of body camera footage it's the
first time the agency has acknowledged critical facts and that
(07:48):
two firearms were discharged during the incident.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Also in there no mention of him pulling a gun,
zero mention of him pulling a gun at all, which
is a big deal. So in the last several months sixteen,
(08:12):
well now seventeen, because there was a yesterday in Arizona,
there was a border agent that shot and wounded somebody
who's in critical condition. Nobody's been charged. I don't even
know what kind of investigation has gone on in any
of these situations. So, yeah, people have some questions, and
(08:35):
I go back to this. We can be strong on
the border, we can be smart in the way that
we're handling some of these things rather than performative and reactionary.
We can find solutions to this if people want to.
(08:56):
And we're going to go to the poll numbers a
little bit later. But the reality is the polls have changed.
They have because they don't feel like this is going
the way that they thought it was going to go
when they voted for Trump, which was they're going to
get the bad guys out. It's not going to look like,
you know, guys in masks roaming in the streets of
(09:19):
America and dead American citizens. That's not what people sign
up for at all. So yes, you know, one thing
that Trump knows is this is turned on him, even
though well he appointed these people, Christinome, Greg Bavino, all
(09:42):
these cats, they're the ones who need to take responsibility.
But the ultimate responsibility still lands on Trump right lands
on his feet, right there feet. So what does that mean?
Means that he's got to make some decisions, decisions was
pulling back christ You know, I'm getting rid of Greg Bavino.
Who is I mean, I don't even know what to
(10:03):
say about that cat. But the reality is he did
not help. Even Trump kind of Threwhi under the bus.
He goes it's different, it's a different kind of character maybe,
I don't know. Maybe. And the thing that was very
telling about how frustrated they were with him is they
told him couldn't use social media anymore because he fought
with anybody who questioned his tactics, right, And that was
(10:29):
so telling, right there, so telling. And I go back
to this whether it is the you know, I call
Christy Nome immigration Barbie because I feel she's immigration Barbie, right,
she's LARPing around. I feel the same thing when it
comes to Greg Bovino. At some point in time, you're
more cause playing than anything else. It's a show, and
(10:51):
you don't send those people to do the things that
need to be done, because if that's the face of
the operation, it's it's like a clown show. At the
same time, I look at the protesters out there, and
you got pink hair right right, you your non gender
(11:11):
specific hatred of the patriarchy. Youigh three hundred pounds, you're
a vegan, and you're screaming at everybody and you and
I think if your goal is to change people's minds,
you send clowns as well. Guess what happens. You have
a battle of clowns. Not something that I think at
this point in time. I think it's just so performative,
(11:33):
and you have people dying for performative political reasons. We
don't need it. It's not who we are. Let me
know what you think. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show is
your extra instant YouTube and more right here in the
Chad Benson Show. Really factor is incredible, it's amazing. It's
going to help you in so many ways. Let me
(11:55):
tell you how it helps me. I am training every
single day, getting ready for a big tournament coming up
in about three weeks. And the reality is, if it
wasn't for a Relief Factor, I would be nowhere near
where I am now because I'm able to train every day.
My body doesn't hurt just getting older. Sometimes sitting in
the chair for a few hours, I get up, I'm like, Oh,
(12:16):
Relief Factor targets the thing that you're gonna hear so
much about this year, inflammation, Omega three fatty acids, risveratrol.
It focuses on those pathways when it comes to inflammation,
and it is amazing. A three week quick start right now,
nineteen ninety five, less than a cup of coffee a day.
I'm telling you guys, it is going to change your
(12:36):
world in so many ways. Try it. If you struggle
with aches and pains and your joints and your muscles,
watch what happens when you take a relief factor. Go

call one Aine hundred and four Relief oneting hundred the

you coming up the doomsday clock closer to midnight? Chad
(12:58):
Bens A.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Joe, you're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
The clock is ticking and it's getting closer to midnight.
Heard that song by Judas Priest ten mits to midnight. Yeah,
it's different. Though it's not ten minutes.
Speaker 9 (13:24):
We wish it was ten minutes doomsday.
Speaker 10 (13:30):
Doomsday is closer than ever, at least according to one
group of scientists, The Bulletin for the Atomic Scientists, a
nonprofit established the doomsday clock in nineteen forty seven as
a way to warn people of the possibility of humankind
destroying the world. It's at eighty five seconds right now.
That's the closest it's ever been. Four seconds closer than
last year.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
What four seconds closer than last year? What has changed
in a year?
Speaker 11 (13:56):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (13:56):
I bet you. They're going to blame Trump for it
moving closer. Bye. Well.
Speaker 10 (14:00):
They point to increasingly aggressive behavior of the world's nuclear
superpowers Russia, China, and the United States, as well as
ongoing military conflicts like Russia's war in Ukraine and the
situation in Gaza. They say that it's only gotten worse
in the twelve months since President Trump took office again.
Global climate change is always an issue, and this year
they're talking more about artificial intelligence. They're worried about AI
(14:22):
for a couple of reasons.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
I think we're all worried about AI. I mean it's weird,
like the joking of like, well, eventually it's just going
to take everything over and destroy us all. But we
can have fun. We're gonna have a robot that'll be neat.
So that'll be neat for a while until it turns
on you. Oh, has your AI gotten jealous of you yet?
(14:44):
Has your AI questioned you yet? Like? Did you look
for an answer somewhere else? Well? Maybe I just want
to see Oh really, so you don't trust me. See,
it's already happening, both for.
Speaker 10 (14:57):
Its ability to be used to develop new military s,
systems and biological weapons, and for its power as a
source of dangerous disinformation. One of the scientists describes the
time we're living in as an information armageddon. These scientists
are worried that instead of coming together to make the
Earth a better place, these superpowers are becoming more aggressive
(15:18):
and more adversarial. This was the third time in the
last four years that the doomsday clock has gotten closer
to midnight.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Oh lord, hey lord, So we're getting closer to midnight,
that's happening. I can't remember the last time I went backwards.
I'm sure it was probably under Obama. We should check
that on the old check in that machine. I'll ask Ai. Actually,
see see how that I mean to ask Ai? When
(15:47):
was the last time the doomsday clock went backwards? Hold on, though,
I have to ask Ai in a conversational thing, because
I appreciate my Ai being so good and working with me. Right,
you guys all should and if you don't, you should.
That's just a little vice from your good buddy right
here on the Chad Benson Show. All right, so we're
(16:09):
taking a look here. So the last time that the
doomsday clock vent bitcarts nineteen ninety one doll In fact,
it moved seven minutes, seven minutes backwards. It was at
ten minutes to midnight. But then the collapse of the
(16:31):
Soviet Union right end of the Cold War, all that
stuff that reduced at that time the nuclear threat. So
in nineteen ninety one, but interestingly enough, before that, with
the Cold War kind of still going on, there was
ten minutes to midnight. Now we're eighty five seconds away
from something. Don't know what it is. We're gonna find out,
(16:57):
probably not, because I think a lot of it is hype.
I don't know if you're aware of that. I think
a lot of it is to scare us into thinking
that we've got to fix all of these issues and
that everything's the worst, because they realize being seventeen minutes
away doesn't get the same coverage as being eighty five
(17:20):
seconds away. Let me know what you think. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
That is your ex your Insta, your YouTube, Facebook, and more.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show, It's Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Not only do we have one hit Wonder Wednesday coming
up in a little bit, but it's also our favorite
time with the ladies. Little White Woman Wednesday.
Speaker 13 (18:14):
It's not him at the coffee bar. She's not streaming
from our car.
Speaker 14 (18:19):
Fat Jake so bred DHD telling workers what.
Speaker 11 (18:23):
They ought to be.
Speaker 15 (18:25):
Let me send your experience, says begin over.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
Everyone got a friend.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
For every human sin, but flocks you if you.
Speaker 13 (18:35):
Don't chime in, it's white woman Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
That's right, White woman Wednesday. This is where the white
progressive ladies tell us how much that we are idiots.
Where do we start today?
Speaker 16 (18:47):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (18:48):
How about this our good friend and yours, Jess.
Speaker 17 (18:50):
We all know it's hypocritical to celebrate Kyle Rittenhouse for
bringing a gun to a protest to kill civilians, while
insisting that Alex Party's death was justified because he said
we had a gun on his person in an open
carry state. We all know it's hypocritical for ICE agents
to show up in masks now when they spend all
of COVID complaining that they couldn't breathe in them. We
know it's hypocritical for the adult tread on meet crowd
(19:10):
to suddenly be saying comply or die. We know what's
hypocritical to call peaceful protesters domestic terrorists while calling January
sixth rioters patriots. And when I say we know it,
I mean we all know it.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
They know it too.
Speaker 17 (19:21):
Because hypocrisy is the point. Authoritarian movements have historically relied
on contradictory messaging because if followers can accept hypocrisy that
blatant without questioning it. It strengthens the power of the
leader and the movement. People are no longer defending their beliefs,
they're defending identity.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
They are pledging allegiance.
Speaker 17 (19:39):
That's why Trump says he could stand in the middle
of Fifth av and shoot someone and not lose support.
The hypocrisy is not a weak spot of the regime's ideology.
It's a strategic way to grow support and consolidate power.
Because when leaders can contradict themselves openly and their followers
accept it, the leader now has the power to define
reality itself.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Ooh, that's pretty good. That good. So much he was
saying is true. And let's just settle down on the
protest and Kyle Rittenhouse. While I wasn't a fan of
what he did, I thought it was asinine and stupid
at the same time, you know, the if protests in
the Summer of Love meant burning down parts of the city,
(20:19):
that's that's not a protest. That's okay again, And I'm
not here to defend Kyle Rittenhouse. You guys have listened
to me on numerous occasions talk about this. But he
did have a right to have a gun. Okay, he did,
But let's just all settle down, and there is some
hypocrisy out there. I won't lie to you. And she's
(20:40):
right about the January sixth and a lot of other stuff.
The amount of stuff that I've been getting about the
death of Alex pretty is. You know, he faid and
f o'd and this is what you get, and look
at this, and he got what he deserved. What's he
doing bringing a gun? I'm trying to explain to people
who are suposedly Second Amendment, you know, absolutist, and they're saying, oh, no, no,
(21:06):
you shouldn't be bringing a gun. I'm really you shouldn't.
Now if there was a law against that area having
a gun, a Sydney ordinance, whatever it was, Okay, there
wasn't any of that. We know that, and it was
his right. It was his right. Let's continue, shall we,
White woman Wednesday?
Speaker 18 (21:25):
It's gonna really suck for the red hats when the
shoe is on the other foot and people start going
door to door asking if they voted for Trump in
the last round or if they still support Maga. Oh
I'm sorry, did that make you feel threatened? You think
social punishment ain't a thing? You think everybody's ready to
do all this again in another forty to fifty years, or
however long it takes them. If you guys were to
(21:48):
use any critical thinking skills and take a look around
for two seconds, you would realize that numbers wise, y'all
are screwed. It wouldn't matter how much firepower y'all had,
It would not matter how much you guys tried to.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
I mean, January sixth was a.
Speaker 18 (22:01):
Prime example of how crappy everything is and falling apart.
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Oh that was just a test run. Yeah, the test
run looked like hits.
Speaker 16 (22:10):
Your leaders couldn't even cover from their own ass correctly.
Speaker 18 (22:13):
The way they redacted those files makes sense, though. Y'all
just love the patriarchy, and we all know how common
weaponized incompetence is within patriarchy. How does it feel to
know that the head orange toad basically has to be
cleaned up after every about ten minutes from just himself constantly.
Speaker 5 (22:31):
That's not true. Look it up, I dare you, But
we all know you're not going to do that because
you're too scared.
Speaker 16 (22:37):
You guys are chicken shits.
Speaker 18 (22:38):
You guys won't research anything because you guys know you're
going to financiers.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
You're not gonna like.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
Oh, okay, there you guys go look at that. So
I just want to go over this again. When you
guys get power, whatever side it is, your new thing
now is you're going to go through the voter rolls
then go to houses where people voted for Trump and
do what. Just curious about that. That seems a little insane.
(23:07):
So what you're saying is you want to make it
illegal to vote for the side that you are against.
So if if you're a Republican, according to this lady,
you should be in some serious trouble because you shouldn't
(23:28):
be able to vote that way. And they will come
and they will absolutely go through the voter rolls. Okay,
I just I'm trying to figure try to figure this out, right.
Want to make sure we're all in the same you know,
on the same plane. Here, let me know what you think.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at had Benson show shere, acts, your Insta, YouTube
(23:49):
and more. Meanwhile, back to big News and arguably one
of the biggest stories potentially not just of this year,
but of the last thirty or forty years. It comes
to the lawsuits and court an impact on society, not
since potentially, you know, people are saying, probably the tobacco lawsuit.
(24:14):
Have we seen something this big? And of course is
social media and what is going on there with social
media and the lawsuits. This is the first time ever
a lawsuit is getting a jury trial. Now, yesterday, right
before the trial or the juries were going to be selected,
(24:34):
TikTok came to an agreement. So you have Snap and
TikTok that have come to an agreement and settled out
a court in this lawsuit. But it looks like all
steam ahead when it comes to the other players.
Speaker 19 (24:49):
This all centers on a lawsuit that was brought by
a nineteen year old. She basically claims that the tech
companies used techniques that were similar to what we see
from slow machines or the cigarette industry to hook her
on social media starting at the age of ten, got
her addicted to social media and led to depression, anxiety,
(25:11):
body image issues.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Okay, there's a lot to unpack in this one. I'm
going to tell you this right now. Did they use
those things for that addiction side of stuff? Oh yeah,
I mean we've talked about it and they've admitted it.
They've readily been in front of Congress and admitted as much.
But what you're saying is it's the content that they
(25:37):
allowed on there that pushed her over the edge, which
I find to be I'm not buying that part because
it makes it seem like she never had any issues,
and she wouldn't have had any issues had it not
been for social media. And I also want to remind
everybody that as a parent, your responsibility is to be
in your child's life and to tell them not all
(26:02):
of this is real, A lot of this is boloney,
and you need to be grounded in reality and have
conversations as a partisa parent rather than a participant in
your child's life. This is a social media law professor
from Duke, Professor Benjamin talking about you know a lot
(26:24):
of the stuff, the implications and all of these things.
Speaker 20 (26:27):
So they have to prove that design features of these
social media sites caused this plaintiff to suffer from anxiety, depression,
et cetera. That is to say, things like infinite scroll
and AutoPlay and not the content that was actually on
these social media sites. And the reason why it's important
(26:49):
for them not to focus on the content is if
it's a focus on the content, then there's a federal
statute called Section two thirty that would prevent them from
being held liable. And they would have a strong First
and Men argument because they would say, you're punishing us
for our speech that's not permissible under the First Amendment,
Whereas the argument would be that things like infinite scroll
(27:09):
aren't really speech and it isn't someone else's speech, and
so neither the First Amendment nor Section two thirty applies.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Very interesting on this one, very interesting. So it's now
the content. It is the actual way that the scroll
and the swipe rights and the interaction with the app
or the social media itself caused her to have these issues,
(27:40):
not the content. The ramifications could be massive again massive,
and wait till you start getting the commercials for Have
you or somebody you know been hurt by social media?
I'm telling you it's coming. It is coming, you know it.

oh five. Coming up, One Hit Wonder Wednesday. Do we
have a newsy for you? And it's one of the
one hit Wonders that we get told you got to
do this, and a lot of times people don't even
know the name of the band. Well we do and
we've got it straight ahead.
Speaker 21 (29:46):
Chad Benson Show, serving up talk radio medium, rare and
ripping with irony.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
It's Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
It's one of our favorite times of the week. It's
One Hit Wonder Wednesday. This is where we break down
a song. Sometimes the band and the song they stick
around forever, right, They don't really fade out. They never
have anything else that goes their way as far as hits,
and then you see them on the circuit doing their thing.
(30:24):
Sometimes people go, I remember that song, don't even know
the name of it, And I remember nothing about the band, right,
not a thing. That's one of those things today, this
band most people couldn't even tell you the name of
the band, and most people hear the song and go oh,
I like that song. Oh yeah. Today is both a
(30:47):
mystery that we're going to put to bed. Are you
guys ready for it? Learn a little something something and
have a little fun with some music. It is Wonder Wednesday.
Speaker 22 (30:57):
Now it's time for another edition of One Hit Wonder Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
You may not remember the name of the band, but
you definitely know the song.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
This bruiser.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
This is one Hit Wonder Wednesday. Our one hit Wonder
Today comes from a trio out of Manchester, Clive Farrington,
Michael Floriel and Andrew Mann. They put the song together
that became a hit in their back garden, right. They
had a small makeshift studio that was like a tool shed,
(31:48):
and they didn't write any of it down. They actually
sang it into a cassette recorder. Now, the interesting thing
about this song is again most people have no idea
who this band is. They're called When it flopped in Britain,
it was the reverse of a British invasion in the
sense that didn't do anything, and it slowly climbed the
charts here. But when you hear the song, you recognize
(32:10):
it immediately and you get into it. It's one of
those things where it is so unmistakable, it is so incredible,
and it takes you back to a moment in time
from nineteen eighty seven, Ladies and Gentlemen, your one hit
wonder Today the trio in Manchester called when in Rome
the song a promise.
Speaker 23 (32:41):
If you need a friend, so a lou too strange,
you know in the end, I dueno doubt.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
When you're in day.
Speaker 23 (33:06):
Take a little goal, but.
Speaker 24 (33:19):
They don't tell.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
The way up.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
The song was not a smash it but it has
been used in numerous commercials, television shows, and yes, even
a movie that we all love, Napoleon Dynamite.
Speaker 24 (33:46):
Well, I remember getting the phone call it in two
thousand and three from our ex keyboard player who'd moved
to Dallas, and he called me, I didn't want to use
the song in the movie. And of course you just
don't know at that point, Yeah, okay, you know, you
don't know what it's to be like or how it's
gonna do. Then I was watching television at one o'clock
in the morning and it was the MTV Film Awards
(34:08):
and Daryl Hannah comes running on stage.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
He says, I got a fall.
Speaker 24 (34:11):
Throat shouting for Napoleon Dynamite. So I thought, if Daryl
Hannah's shouting for it, it's got all a chance. And
it's really funny because Andrew and I have always been
into film music, music scores and stuff. Andrew's played this
stuff from movies that I've never had before, and it's
always been a real interest. And then of course it
can work the other way around. We've not written a
song specifically for a movie, it was used in a movie,
(34:32):
so yeah, we got our wish in the.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
End, Yes, they did a massive hit from the movie
that re really revitalized their career because interestingly enough, they
recorded the song and nineteen eighty seven. It came out
late in eighty seven through eighty eight. By then the
band had pretty much dissolved, fell apart. They wanted nothing
(34:57):
to do with each other music. They went their separate ways,
but renewed interest because of Napoleon and several other covers
has given this thing new life.
Speaker 23 (35:09):
Thinking up.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
You're one hit wonder today an amazing song indeed from
the trio from Manchester called Win in Rome The promise
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Ched Benson Show, is your ex, your Insta, YouTube, Facebook,
and more. Love hearing from all of you right there.
And if you've got a one hit wonder suggestion, let
us know tweet it at us. You can text us
(35:35):
all of the things. We love hearing from you right
now on the Chat Benson Show. Coming up, hour number
two of the program. A lot of stuff still to
get to. So we talked about social media in the lawsuit.
TikTok may be facing a lawsuit and investigation has nothing
to do with the current lawsuit, all to do with censorship.
We're going to discuss that. Top of that, more on
what's going on in Minnesota. What do the numbers say?
(35:58):
Right because while we talk about this being afformative and
the tragedies and the horrors and all the chaos that's
happening in places like Minneapolis, what do the numbers say
when it comes to how people feel about it whole wise?
Because as we all know, the end of the day,
for all of these politicians, it's about what winning your race,
And we have midterms coming up. We'll talk about that,
(36:19):
the economy, a bunch of other good stuff. How are
number two? Straight ahead? Chat Benson.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
The weather continues to be an absolute beast. We always
talk about nature messing you up, and that's a segment
we do right and we have some fun with that.
Usually it's people are doing something stupid, and that happens
a lot. Welcome to the world, but it's nature right
like nature is massive. This is a massive storm that
(37:15):
hit America some two thousand miles wide, and in its
path was just about a vast majority of America where
two hundred million people affected by it. But what it
left was horrible situations of ice and snow and hazardous
(37:37):
conditions and unfortunately danger.
Speaker 16 (37:40):
Ice turning deadly north of Dallas, where authorities in Bottom,
Texas say three brothers, ages six, eight and nine died
after falling through the ice on a private pond. Bostonians
digging out from a top ten all time snowstorm just
shy of two feet.
Speaker 8 (37:55):
It's just tough, like once you get more than a
foot in the city, there's no place to put it.
Speaker 16 (38:00):
Encased in frozen snow all over New York City, and
with wind chills and the single digits, enormous chunks of
ice clogging New York's Hudson River.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
It's the trip to see massive pieces of ice in
some of these places where even when it gets cold,
it doesn't get like this. Then you've got the travel
side of it, right, So go look at you DFW
and logan and whatnot. You've had God knows how many
flights canceled, Not since when they say COVID. Before that
(38:31):
nine to eleven did we have this many flights that
were either canceled or delayed.
Speaker 25 (38:37):
After a record number of cancelations, American Airlines is now
offering flight attendants double pay to cover extra flights. Today,
some pilots and crew members sleeping in airports. Traveling by
car not much easier. People across Pennsylvania have been waiting
days for their streets to be plowed. On Louisiana's frozen interstate,
twenty hundreds of drivers were stranded for more than twenty
(39:01):
four hours.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
We are seeing it here still in Tennessee. There are
a lot of people without any kind of of you know, power,
and it may be days in certain areas before they
see that. And the when I was talking to I
was talking to Alignment yesterday. He said, look, there's still
two hundred plus polls that are down, and the problem
(39:25):
isn't getting to them, it's getting through everything to get
to the point where you can start to repair some
of these things. And what he was telling me is,
you know, on the highways, the freeways, they're fine, right,
there's not a lot of ice. But inside suburbia the streets,
(39:50):
trees are down and ice is everywhere. And we're expecting
another cold blast through here and the rest of the
country this weekend, so be prepared. We keep you abreast
of this. Remember, check on your neighbors, check on your friends,
some of the people that maybe aren't in a position
to help themselves. It's what we do here, folks, right.
(40:12):
We care. It's our goals to make sure that you
know that we care. Speaking of caring, I care about
what happens in our country. I care about the situation
that I look and see us heading towards, which is
a disaster when it comes to immigration, at us fighting
amongst ourselves, which we shouldn't be doing. We should demand
(40:35):
to fix it. Can have empathy and compassion. It can
also be strong when it comes to immigration, but the
rhetoric is out of hand and it's not getting any better.
It's getting worse. And the polls are showing that if
you're a Republican, you're paying a lot of attention to
(40:55):
this because you're hearing more and more of them stand
up and say no, no, no, we're not going to
do this. The way that this is being handled, it's
not good. So with the killing this past Saturday, they
finally released a preliminary finding.
Speaker 8 (41:16):
At no point in the report does DHS say that
Preddy attempted to reach for his weapon, because remember that's
what they said initially, while they now say that that
didn't happen, and the DHS timeline doesn't mention at all
that Preddy was disarmed before he was shot, which is
what we've seen in the videos. Though his gun was
taken away from him before he was shot.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
And that's what we see. No matter how many of
you guys send me something and say no, look at this, no,
we see, we see it. There's enough angles. We absolutely
see what happens. Okay, we do, we see what happens.
We understand that the gun was taken out unless he
(41:59):
had another magic gun somewhere else and with his hands
behind his back and him getting his ass, well, he
can magically mind control it. We see it. By the way,
at no time that they tell him was undarrest. At
no time did they tell him any of those things.
Speaker 8 (42:12):
When you combine the video, what we've seen with our
own eyes with these new preliminary findings from DHS, it
does not appear that Alex Pretty was presenting a mortal
threat to the agents. And if a mortal threat was
not presented to federal agents, then the shooting wasn't justified.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
And I have a of a feeling we're going to
get potentially some suspensions and maybe some fiants and maybe
even besides the lawsuits, because you know those are coming,
you're also going to I think see maybe some charges
we'll see. I have a feeling though, because people including
(42:49):
Republicans and that's the important part of this, that are
big supporters of Trump, are demanding answers and accountability. Why
is that because they're looking at the polls.
Speaker 26 (43:01):
ICE, DHS, Christine Olme have been a political disaster because
just take a look here, I mean, ICE is net
approval rating during Trump's term.
Speaker 5 (43:10):
You go back to term number one.
Speaker 26 (43:11):
Look it was pretty even at zero points. You go
to June twenty twenty five, right, that was when all
that stuff was going on in Los Angeles.
Speaker 5 (43:19):
They dropped down.
Speaker 26 (43:19):
Look at this minus seventeen points, way in the basement.
But then after Minneapolis it's even lower, minus twenty seven
points on the net approval rating of ICE. Of course,
this is all being done under Christinenome. So no, what's
going on in Minneapolis is not popular at all. What's
been going on during this second term under ICE, under
(43:41):
the Trump administration, under Christinome has very much not been popular,
and it's only begetting more and more unpopular.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
And he brings us up because there's other things out
there saying, well, people support ICE in their job. They
support getting people that are out of here illegally, especially
bad people. They don't support what they're seeing on the streets.
By the way, they also don't support the way that
the protesters have acted. But they don't like what they
(44:11):
see overall, and they look at government and they say, government,
you have a responsibility here to handle this in a
better way. And Trump realizes, I have to pivot. This
is not something that is going to help me keep
(44:31):
the House and the Senate, which he is desperate to do.
As any president is.
Speaker 26 (44:35):
Start with aisen, them will raise it to DHS. And
again it's just the same exact story. Right, DHS is
doing an excellent or good job the Department of Homeland Security.
Speaker 5 (44:43):
During Trump's first term.
Speaker 26 (44:45):
Look where it was in late twenty seventeen, right right
abound at this point, fifty nine percent.
Speaker 5 (44:49):
That's pretty gostron good. But look at.
Speaker 26 (44:51):
Where it is now in Trump term number two. By
late last year, it was down to forty two percent.
So this is the same story that we're seeing no
matter which pole question we look at. The popularity of
ICE of DHS has completely fallen under the second Trump term,
the second Trump administration, where why what we were seeing
(45:11):
during Trump's term number one was hey, ice, DHS pretty popular,
certainly not unpopular, but all the actions in Minneapolis, in
Los Angeles and these major American cities have been very
much rejected by the American people. It has been a
political disaster for the second Trump administration.
Speaker 2 (45:30):
I will tell you right now. A lot of it
is the look, the look, the look coming from the
White House with Stephen Miller and everybody's domestic terrorists. The
look where you've got immigration, Barbie LARPing around at times
right playing what feels to be a ridiculous game. The
(45:52):
look with Greg Bavino right walking around in his trench
coat and his outfit, and there is a sense of
this isn't going over well, this is authoritarian, This feels
and looks like something I don't want to be involved with.
And when you start to piss off the Independence, and
(46:13):
I tell you guys this over and over again, look
at the Independence. If they're unhappy, they're the ones that
get you across the line. And if you lose them,
you're screwed. You are absolutely screwed. So we'll see where
this goes. And by the way, politics plays a role
in everything. And if you don't believe that, maybe the
(46:35):
most political BS that you will hear today has nothing
to do with social media and the trial going on,
nothing to do with geopolitics or tariffs. It has all
to do with football and a outright BS stealing of
(46:59):
a person who really isn't a sympathetic character. But you
can't deny the success and his Hall of Fame first ballot,
which is what he should have been on.
Speaker 27 (47:10):
Career Bill Belichick eight super Bowl rings, six as a
head coach, and his nine trips to the game, seventeen
division titles not a Hall of Famer. Voters in Canton
this month, passing him over in his first year of eligibility,
Spygate to flate gate cited as topics that came up
during the discussion in the room.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
Which is crap, absolute crap. So if you're going to
do that, no, no Tom Brady then because he was
a part of the team. No Tom Brady, No way
can you deny Bill Belichick. That's theftory right there. I
don't know if that's a word, but I'm using it now.
(47:48):
That is he said, somebody he feels has to do
with his politics. He's, you know, let's be real, is
a little bit of a gruugh guy. But he even
laughed and he said, so, I guess six super Bowls
doesn't get you in. Just insane, insane, So I guess
Tom's not getting in. It's a shame, Tom. I thought
(48:09):
you were. I thought you were first ballot Hall of Famer,
But I guess you're not. So sorry about that. I
don't know what else there is to say. Good God,
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at ched Bedton Joe, So you're actually into YouTube
and the war. We're gonna talk a little tick to
the talk coming up. But first, relief factor. Relief factor
(48:30):
is incredible. So I checked this out. Uh my buddy
at work, who's my producer there at Local Belle and Bell,
has some issues with his back and he's like, dude,
that stuff really work. I'm like, dude, here, try some
It has changed so much for him. He says, look, dude,
I'm more mobile. I feel better than I have felt
(48:51):
in ears. And he goes, what is it? I said,
It's it's inflammation, right, Like that's the word of the
year in the medical world. It's inflammation. And this fights inflammation,
fights those pathways, right. So relief factor, that's what it does.
With Mega three fatty assets or as veritral, all this
stuff fights that inflammation, right, So targets those pathways and
(49:12):
fights that inflammation, therefore making you feel a thousand times better.
And that is a win. Is a It's been a
game changer for him, It's been a game changer for
my wife and everybody I know who takes it. I
wait to try a three week quick start right now,
just nineteen ninety five. You can get it by going
to relief Factor dot com, Reliefactor dot com or call
eight hundred and four Relief eight hundred the number four
(49:33):
relief for relief Factor. Make sure you tell them Chad
send you Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
TikTok, which settled yesterday social media lawsuit. We touched on that,
but one of the other things going on with tick
to the Talk is the fact that everything seems to
have changed. They took over the company, what a week,
week and a half ago. All of a sudden, everything
seems to have changed. Right, Your for you page isn't
(50:15):
in many cases great. And then you get to a
lot of the creators, especially people who are saying, hey,
hold on a second, if you say anything negative about
the administration, if you say anything negative about Israel or Palestine,
if you say anything negative about DHS mentioned Epstein, all
of these things, all of a sudden, you're either not
allowed to post or your post gets zero engagements in zero.
Speaker 11 (50:37):
Views among those who say it appears at TikTok has
been suppressing anti Trump and anti ice content. He is
California State Senator Scott Weener, who often has tens of
thousands of views when he posts. This week, gotten zero
views on this video criticizing the actions of federal agents
in Minneapolis.
Speaker 5 (50:54):
They know that they can't be sued.
Speaker 11 (50:56):
Other politicians and celebrities say their content has been blocked
Ronald since TikTok agreed to a deal to spin off
US operations to a Trump backed investor group, but TikTok
says there is no censorship at play. Instead, it's a
bug in one of its US data centers.
Speaker 2 (51:11):
Is it really? I mean, honestly, is it? Do you
think it is? And I say that because this is
one of the people that late last year was talking
about what they're doing at TikTok. When it comes to
making sure that you don't say anything negative in particular
(51:31):
about Israel or talk about Zionism unless it's positive.
Speaker 28 (51:36):
We made a change to designate the use of the
term zionist as a proxy for a protected attribute as
hate speech. So if somebody were to use zionist, of
course you can use it in the sense of you're
a proud Zionist, But if you're using it in the
context of degrading somebody calling somebody a Zionist as a
(51:57):
dirty name, then that gets designated as hate speech to
be moderated against. Over the course of twenty twenty four,
we tripled the amount of accounts that we were banning
for hateful activity. We also have I think over two
dozen Jewish organizations that are constantly feeding us intelligence and
information when they spot violative trends. There is no finish line.
(52:20):
There's no finish line to moderating hate speech, identifying hateful trends,
trying to keep the platform safe. There's no such thing
as an endgame.
Speaker 2 (52:32):
Oh that's nice to know. Let me know what you think,
if this is insane or if it's just a glitch
because of power outages. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Acts,
your Insta, your YouTube, Facebook and more, loving all of
you guys out there right here on the Chad Benson Show. Now,
(52:52):
as for me, I posted a few videos the other
day and one of my videos as zero views, zero views.
On my other install the Facebook and whatnot, it has
thousands upon thousands of views. So, but some of the
(53:15):
other videos I posted right because you know they're shorts,
so you break them up. You know, if you do
a longer segment in something and you break them up
and you go, okay, you know, I'll schedule these a
little bit later. They've got views that are okay, and
those aren't as critical as maybe the first one was.
And when you hear them talking about stuff that they're
making changes wise, these were things they were putting into place,
(53:36):
but you probably couldn't put everything into place until you
took full control over it. So, yes, I do have
an issue. Do I one hundred percent think it is
only creators that are negative towards Trump? No, because there
are the creators out there, sports creators, creators who have
nothing to do with politics or saying they're having some issues,
but a lot of their issues aren't the same as
(53:59):
some of the political more critical political pundits out there.
We shall see, We shall see three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chat Benson Show, is your
ex your insta? YouTube and more? You missed the show?
Read that podcast Chat Benson Show, The.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:41):
It is Wednesday. We love it with progressive white women
tell us how much we suck.
Speaker 13 (54:55):
It's not him at the coffee bar. She's not streaming from.
Speaker 14 (54:59):
A car fat tracks o bredom ghd telling workers.
Speaker 11 (55:04):
What they ought to be.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
Let me set out your experience, satiakin over.
Speaker 14 (55:10):
Everyone got a fend for every human sin, but flocks
you if you.
Speaker 2 (55:16):
Don't shime in. It's white woman Wednesdays. It's white woman Wednesday.
Let's find out what they have to say. We have
a whole bunch of them here. Let's see here, start
with this one.
Speaker 17 (55:25):
Every ice agent is an in cell, and every ice
agent who's a woman is a goot.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Okay, so there's that. That's how she feels. How about this, lady,
don't care?
Speaker 29 (55:37):
Clean golf in the United States is fascist behavior, using
up all the water, using up all the land.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
It's real fasci Abolished golf courses.
Speaker 2 (55:47):
Abolish golf courses because it's real fascy. Okay, So so
far ice agents are all in cells and female izations
are and and we're getting rid of golf courses because
of the fascism. It's very fascia, you know what I mean? Ah,
Our Fred Kylee, who we love, right, who is the
(56:09):
Let's be real like the first base that goes on
the Mount Rushmore of white woman Wednesday is Kylie Booking News.
Speaker 30 (56:16):
ICE has just killed its third person in the last
seventeen days. So far, we have Renee Good, Keith Porter,
and now this man. He was a fifty one year
old white man and allegedly what happened is that he
had his gun and was pointing in at law enforcement.
In actuality, it was not a weapon, it was a
cell phone. The ICE agent subsequently tackled him and shot him,
and he died today. Again, this was only a mere
(56:38):
hours ago, so I cannot find the victim's name. These
whatever you're doing is share this video. My content keeps
getting suppressed, especially when it's about ICE. This is a
clear demonstration that having ICE and having all these excessive
federal agents among the people is not making anyone safer.
Speaker 5 (56:53):
People are dying.
Speaker 30 (56:54):
Whether they're American citizens or not, it doesn't matter. Every
single one of these people are human beings. And again,
with how many migrants that have just been kidnapped and
that are missing, we have no idea the actual death
toll of what ICE has done. You have no idea
the extent of the damage and the way that they
have brutalized these people. Some people have gone into comas,
some people have gone missing, and now we are actually
(57:15):
seeing firsthand people are Thousands of protesters took the street today,
so please be sure to share this video and do
what you can.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
Thousands of people have taken to the streets, so be
sure to make sure that you get all my stuff
out there, because I'm not going out. It's cold, Kylie,
We love you. That happened almost immediately after Alex Pretti
was killed, and he was thirty seven fifty one. But
you know, she's upset. She's got a lot of them
(57:44):
she's upset about.
Speaker 23 (57:44):
Now.
Speaker 2 (57:45):
This lady's also upset, But at the same time, she's
very happy to do her part. And part of the
way that she does her part apparently is by being
able to protest. And it's because she doesn't have those
pesky kids.
Speaker 31 (58:02):
At this point in time, with the current state of
the world and specifically the country, maybe being single and
childless is actually my biggest asset in the sense that
(58:25):
I don't have anything to lose, and I don't really
have anybody's life to flip by fighting back against.
Speaker 5 (58:34):
It's like I don't have anything to lose.
Speaker 2 (58:36):
I don't so like like, I'm not.
Speaker 31 (58:39):
Trying to sound like, oh wow, I'm gonna save the day,
because I know I'm just one person. All my friends
who have children, they can't go to a protest and
risk getting arrested or worse, they have people relying on them.
So I guess those of us who don't.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
Oh, there she goes. So she is happy to do
her part, and she I can't tell if she's upset
because she's got to go protest and nobody will have
a baby with her. You know, I'd like, I like
to have a baby. Why so I don't have to
do this crap anymore. Well, make a suggestion here, right,
you're you know you're not You're not unpleasant on the eyes. Okay,
(59:25):
I'm gona trying to be mean, just being honest here,
because right, like, let's be real. We're men, We're visual,
we're visual creatures, visual and the pink hair, a lot
of that stuff. I'm cool with the punk rock. Look,
you guys get that. But I will say it maybe
(59:49):
gives off a vibe of I'm gonna they them. That's
that's That's all I'm saying. Right, that should be mean?
Maybe it just gives off a little bit a vibe,
little vibe there for they then let me know what
you think three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benton's show, is Your ex, your Insta,
(01:00:10):
your YouTube and more? Speaking of dating, all right, because
we talk about this lot. So yesterday a new report
out that you know, we talked last week about China
and how bad it is for them and their you know,
their race for reproduction. In fact, get ready for this.
You know what is up in China pet ownership? No,
(01:00:35):
shut up, that's no no, because they're not having kids.
And if it wasn't according to the report, if it
wasn't for immigration legal and otherwise having children here, our
rate of return as far as the children's and the
(01:00:58):
population is declined way faster than we realize, which we've
brought up but everybody else ignores. But that gets back
to dating. And I bring this up because you know, men, uh,
let's be real. We have not always covered ourselves in glory.
But I find this to be interesting. I saw these
(01:01:20):
both on the same day. Okay, this is this is awesome,
and I'm like, spot on what our buddy here has to.
Speaker 12 (01:01:30):
Say there was an article saying height has become the
big boobs of our generation for men, and that is,
men are disproportionately evaluated for some reason on their height.
And I think it's because it's an objective metric that people,
you know, the whole I want someone to make six
figures in a six feet it's two percent of the
male population.
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Wow.
Speaker 12 (01:01:47):
If you take out men that are married, divorce men,
obest men, and men under the age of fifty, it's
like two percent of the population.
Speaker 2 (01:01:54):
And that's important right there. All right, So the big boobs, right,
you know, so the new the fake the fake canons,
the fake cannons, fake poops. Right for the ladies. They're saying,
this is its height for men. That's why we talk
about those people who go through those horrific surgeries to
go from five to six to you know to five eleven,
(01:02:18):
or to go from five eight to six'. One like
the pain they go through months of agony and, pain
which is. Crazy and if you don't think it's it's,
real well you listen to this lady here who's telling
all the other, Ladies, hey, guys, yeah, yeah stop with
the height.
Speaker 32 (01:02:36):
Thing height preferences are killing modern. DATING i know this sounds,
dramatic BUT i want to talk about why this conversation
is happening, everywhere how it's actually limiting people more than they.
Realize if you watch The Golden, globes you probably have
heard people talking about El, fanning who is clearly much
(01:02:59):
taller than her. Boyfriend how shocked people, seemed and that
reaction alone tells us how deeply ingrained height expectations are
when it comes to. Dating hear women say this all the,
time HAT i can't help. It i'm attracted to Whatever
i'm attracted. To What i'm attracted. To it usually sounds
(01:03:19):
LIKE i want a man taller than, ME i want
to feel smaller than, HIM i want to wear, heels
AND i still want to feel. Feminine. Listen preferences are,
valid they.
Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
ARE i think everybody's got a. Preference the difference, is
though this has become such a situation where the preference
is the only thing that, matters like to the point
where you'll eliminate, everybody because if it's not exactly, that
then you're not doing.
Speaker 32 (01:03:51):
It we need to also talk about context and. Reality
this is the question THAT i always ask when men
come into my, office and they have this height. PREFERENCE
i asked this very, gently how often are you really
wearing heels around somebody that you're in a relationship, with
(01:04:11):
because most relationships are in seekers and, flats bare feet
and sweatpants and target. Runs they're not on the red.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Carpet here's WHAT i. Think so they're not on the
red Car i'm always on a red. Carpet but that's
you knows HOW i live my. Life BUT i see these, women,
right and they're all over the. Web but there are
a lot of places and even you, know some of
the Women i've work, at they they'll throw OUT i
want somebody, taller or you, KNOW i want there are
certain specific. Things is no problem with, THAT i get.
(01:04:42):
That but if you're going to eliminate everybody who's not
that right for wearing heels once or for whatever, reason,
MAN i tell you what.
Speaker 32 (01:04:55):
Online dating has made height of front and center. Trait
you can filter things by, age, education whether or not
they have, children, location and. Height in some, cases on some,
apps you can pay more so that you can filter
more to be able to have access to people that
(01:05:17):
are just within your. Preferences so instead of attraction being
something that you're experiencing in real. Life online dating has
encouraged people to have more of a checkbox mentality when
it comes to, connection and that has changed truly how people.
Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
Date it has which is changing the makeup of our.
Country right we already, have you, know the politics is
getting way to involve because younger women are way more.
Progressive they want men that are you, know what's that
little song six foot blue, eyes Trust fund or, whatever
that little thing that they, saying you, know you, KNOW
(01:05:54):
i want a man in finance and all these kind of.
Things that is changing the makeup of our nation because
we are not. Dating and, Look elon can't get all
these women, pregnant you, know to have. Baby he's. TRYING
i don't think that was.
Speaker 32 (01:06:11):
Nice and here's a little bit of a fact check
for my. Women and every TIME i have this, conversation
they're always, like, What so let me share this with.
You the average height of a man in The United,
states all. Men the average height is five foot nine
and only fourteen to fifteen percent of men in The
(01:06:32):
United states are six feet or. Taller that's all, men all.
Men this is not including men that are. Single this
is not including men that are within your age, range
that are within your. City and as a, MATCHMAKER i
see these rigid height preferences come into my office AND
(01:06:53):
i tell them how much this drastically shrinks the dating.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
Pool yes it. Does And i'm going to say, this
AND i don't want to be you know, Mean i'm
gonna say, this but a lot of these women they
want something that they're never going to get because if
we're going to play THE i want, this, this and,
this you based on the looks and the things that
(01:07:19):
you want do not qualify for. That Oh.
Speaker 32 (01:07:24):
Chad people wonder why dating feels so hard or so
limited or, frustrating it's because they've narrowed the dating pool so.
Much so that makes. Sense and here's the. Thing for most,
women height isn't really about. Height it's about wanting to feel,
safe chosen Did and the thing is is that those
(01:07:45):
feelings don't necessarily come from somebody a man who's. Tall
they come from a man's, presence his, confidence his an emotional,
safety his, consistency and how he shows up in real.
Life everybody's allowed to have. Preferences i'm not saying. That
i'm just here to open your mind up about how
(01:08:05):
these preferences can truly block true connection because real attraction
isn't built off of what somebody necessarily looks like or
how tall they. Are it's built on how someone makes you.
Speaker 26 (01:08:21):
Feel.
Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
Amen and by the, way guys numbering away to woman's
heart make them. Laugh confidence with. That but you make them,
laugh that's a win right. There and here's another. Way
according to a study out of The university Of, chicago
there is a price for. Height you guys ready for this.
One if you're five foot and you make three hundred
(01:08:47):
and seventeen thousand, dollars that equates to you being six foot.

Reports when weather, weather it's we, weather the storm we.
Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
Do whether the, storm it's what we. Do it's who we,
are and it's what we are.
Speaker 6 (01:13:58):
About this, morning the potential nor'easter threatens The East coast this.
Weekend many are still cleaning up from last weekends deadly
storm In Grand, Rapids, michigan a white out On State
route six triggering a thirty vehicle pile. Up In, mississippi
the weight of the ice from this past weekend storm
bringing down these gas station, canopies crushing cars injuring multiple.
(01:14:20):
People nashville blanketed in at least a half inch of,
ice many trees taking power lines with, them leaving hundreds
of thousands in the dark and without heat in the
dangerous cold for.
Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
Days, yes we've already had several, deaths including some people from.
Hypothermia and it's it. Is it. Is you. Know the
snow is the, snow, right it's not big daling it around,
it you, know unless it's it's a giant. Blizzard but
that ice hole man in the, trees it is so you,
(01:14:52):
Know i've been here for year and a half, now
and one Thing i've noticed, is And i've talked to
a couple of. People my, wife you, know she grew
up In colorado and her dad still lives. There it
is the icicles on the trees that is just, insane
and they're all tipping over it. Is it's. Crazy and
(01:15:13):
WHEN i talked to, her she, goes, yeah we don't
really get that in you, know because we get the
big snow once in a, while we'll get a freeze
and you get some of. That but here that freeze
so much more dangerous than the.
Speaker 16 (01:15:23):
Snow there are down, trees, limbs and power lines in every.
Direction that line crew is hard at, work but it
could be days until power is.
Speaker 6 (01:15:32):
Restored here In New York, city ferry service suspended The
Hudson river covered with enormous chunks of.
Speaker 2 (01:15:38):
Ice, yeah that's weird to look at, too all the
ice out. There we talk about nature messing you. Up
you go out and look at, nature, right you, know you,
know like IN, dfw they got a lot of stuff
closed over there In Dallas Fort. Worth Out here In,
nashville we got a lot of lanes closed out, here
and stuff in certain. Areas and you get some little
areas where there's where there's small bits of pond or
(01:16:01):
some of the lake may have some ice or even
frozen a little. Bit but then when you go and
see The, hudson or you go and see you, know
the great lakes and these giant swaths of giant, Ice you're, LIKE,
O Holy mother Of, goodness now will we get?
Speaker 6 (01:16:20):
More we are waking up this morning with sub freezing
wind chills From houston To. Orlando it's really Called indianapolis To.
Columbus and we're gonna stay that, way even colder here
By friday Into. Saturday and that polar air is about
to meet up with a storm that By friday night
should be bringing a little snow to Eastern kentucky Or.
Tennessee but then it's all about this position of this
(01:16:40):
low pressure system and how much it can grab. Moisture
For North carolina And, virginia this could be big Impacts
saturday night and A sunday and then it's all about
the computer models coming. Together right, now they're still.
Speaker 5 (01:16:50):
Divergent but the closer this.
Speaker 6 (01:16:52):
Gets to the, coast the more snow we would end up,
with Like Long, island The cape down Through delaware And
New Jersey.
Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
Delaware so sounds like we're gonna get hit. Again so
that'll be. Interesting it could be interesting to see what
it looks. Like are we gonna get some more? Snow
is it just gonna be a giant? Frost they're talking
about a cyclone. BOMB i don't know if that's, it
but be, prepared stay, safe don't be a fool like
all of the things that we talk. About please please
(01:17:18):
don't do those. Things be you, know an. Idiot check
on your. Neighbors we're just going through, it, man we're
just going through. It just do the. Thing just check
on your neighbors and be. Cool, okay it's all we're.
Speaker 8 (01:17:31):
Saying, meanwhile mourners gathered all day and night to pay
respects To Alex. PRETTY i asked if they feel a
shift could. Happen do you think it might be an inflection?
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Point? GOD i hope. SO i feel like a lot
of people.
Speaker 30 (01:17:45):
Have this strong fear that we're a test, city AND
i hope they realize it's a.
Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
Failure, yeah this is not going. WELL i think everybody
recognizes That trump in particular is talking about de. Escalation
this report that has come out now FROM dhs is
pretty much pointing to the fact that he did not
pull his gun and where all of this goes in
(01:18:12):
the coming. Days the de escalation absolutely is happening Because
trump looks around and he recognizes this is not a good.
Look this is not helping me in the. Polls and
while the blame at the end of the, day everything
lands at his. FEET i think he's looking, around going, Okay, greg,
Right mefino And. Christinome this is on you. Guys that's
(01:18:36):
why he Brought Tom holman. In and people are, frustrated they're,
angry AND i continue to say, this go look at
independence Throughout, republicans Throughout. Democrats why is that because you
know where they're going to, vote you know how they're
going to. Vote for the most, part look at the
independence largest fastest growing segment of the voting block is.
Independence now the vote left and, right because there's no
(01:18:59):
true for a third. Party independent right. Now but they're
the ones who are free thinking enough to, go, Yeah
i'm not a fan of this and it's time to move.
Speaker 8 (01:19:11):
On it's the first time the agency has acknowledged critical,
facts notably that two firearms were discharged during the, incident
the report stating in part that during the physical, struggle
A Border patrol agent yelled he's got a gun multiple,
times the report going on to say approximately five seconds,
later A Border patrol agent discharged his glock nineteen and
(01:19:33):
A Border patrol agent also discharged his glock forty seven
at Pretty.
Speaker 2 (01:19:38):
SO i was talking to my buddy last. Night it's
actually guy used to play pickleball with out In Arizona
so WHERE i lived In Arizona valley of The dirt.
People it's not BUT i joke about. That BUT i
loved it out. There and my pickleball group THAT i
got really close with and including a vast majority of my.
Neighbors they're, all for the most, part The Border. Patrol last,
(01:20:03):
YEAR i played a Big Border patrol fundraiser and they
were and all of them are not, newbies, Right they've
been around a, while some of, them you, know twenty
thirty plus years on the. Job and one of the
things that my buddy said to me last night was
AND i thought it was hilarious and, goes, yeah they're not, trained.
(01:20:25):
Right AND i got to be, honest if you're this
terrified all the, time there's a probability that you shouldn't
be doing this. Gig AND i get, IT i. Do
this is not about hammering the border, patrols not HAMMERING
dhs AND. Ice this is having the reality that maybe
we're sending some people into situations that should not be
(01:20:49):
in those, situations, okay and then calling them everybody that
disagrees or comes after you a domestic terrorist also is
not helping the. Narrative And trump is understanding that we'll
see where this, goes no doubt about. That this is
not the end of this, conversation especially in the coming
(01:21:10):
days and. Weeks AND i also want to talk a
little bit later more. Tomorrow we're gonna get into THE
h ONE b visas because abbot out In, texas and
this goes a long. Way it's not just, him several
other states to look at. It how can they restrict
visas to people that are coming in this. Country and
(01:21:31):
one of the thing we're gonna do tomorrow in, particular
is we're gonna break it. Down is we're gonna look
at how many people are coming here on, visas and
because it's always about the, replacement and one of the
THINGS i want to do AND i want to get
a full breakdown AND i got my crack team of
me working on, it is what are the? Numbers not
(01:21:52):
just that the people coming, here but if you're going
to stop people visa wise from coming, here are those
people we actually? Need or are big business bringing a
lot of these people in here because it's a great
way to save, money and there's ways to go and
fix that, situation which should be. Easy if you think
you're going to replace somebody who's making eighty grand with
somebody who's willing to come here and do it for,
(01:22:13):
forty that is a. No like you should, Say, look
they've got to make at least as, much if not
five percent more than the person you're. Paying, now see
WHAT i did, THERE i gave them five percent. More,
right make them make a. Choice that's, Heard if that makes.
Sense trump has some more. CHOICES i want to talk
(01:22:37):
about This. Iran now we talked about yesterday With. Mike
clients are military. Analysts trump was told today that the
likes Of United arab Of emirates And Saudi arabia and
several others there in The Middle east will not be
helping in a, way shape or form when it comes
(01:23:01):
to what may happen In. Iran they're not going to do,
anything so meaning, airspace anything like, that you, know, logistics
any of those. Things they're just they're going to stay
out of, it which Shrinks trump's potential response to whatever's
(01:23:21):
coming because they're still waiting. There The iranian people are
still trying to figure out exactly what their next move
is and how we play into. This Because trump, said,
hey we're coming to help, you.
Speaker 35 (01:23:33):
He tried to stop and apparently he did stop a
number of executions that you've told The, iranians don't execute.
It i'm going to come in and use military. Force
so but after, that what do you? Do how do
you prevent any, arrests how prevent follow on. Executions we
don't have enough intelligence on the ground to know whether
they're being executed in, Secret so this is really tough
(01:23:54):
for the.
Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
President and they told from WHAT i, understand shoot on.
Site any, protesters shoot on, site and so this has
energized the leaders in the country that The israelis and
The americans didn't do anything and we killed far more
(01:24:16):
than people realize and we're still. Here that being, SAID
i do think something is. Coming the question isn't IF
i think at this, moment it's when and what does
that look? Like because you, know this feels this is
regime change is what they're going. For but dropping some
(01:24:38):
bombs in certain, areas isn't that regime? Change As Mike
leon said, yesterday you've got to get the army on
the side of the people so they can fight the
Revolutionary guard if indeed it comes to. That, unfortunately we're
probably gonna be the ones that help them go into civil.
War so there's. That oh, jeez relief factor is. AWESOME
(01:25:00):

do sound. GREAT i appreciate, that, though where do we
start today on this white Woman.
Speaker 37 (01:32:29):
Wednesday they think they are scaring, us BUT i remember
When Saddam hussein was.
Speaker 38 (01:32:36):
HANGED i watched that entire video AND i felt. NOTHING
i didn't feel, JOY i didn't feel. RELIEF i felt.
Nothing and if they, think if.
Speaker 37 (01:32:45):
They think that what they're doing is filling us with,
fear what they don't understand is our. Psychology they don't understand.
It this will end these. Motherfuckers they're going to be
paying for this for the rest of their, lives and
so will any single person who supported, it every single.
(01:33:06):
Person because you think that we're, nice you think that we're,
weak because we're.
Speaker 38 (01:33:11):
Kind, baby you have no idea who we. Are you really.
Speaker 2 (01:33:15):
DON'T i feel like she's a librarian WHEN i look at.
It and, secondly What's Saddam hussein have to do with
any of? This out of, Curiosity i'd like to know
What Saddam hussein has to do Is and for those
of you who don't, remember THE us didn't Release Saddam
hussein being. Hung that was somebody. Inside he wanted to
(01:33:37):
film it to make sure the whole world knew this
sop is. Dead oh so let's continue, on shall? We
this one's one of my favorites right. HERE i don't
really know what it's. ABOUT i don't know what she's,
thinking but it's.
Speaker 29 (01:33:51):
Interesting they killed him because they didn't get to do
what the other people got to do To Renee. Good
he didn't get the chance to hurt, her and it
pissed them off that he took that away from, them
so they killed him.
Speaker 5 (01:34:05):
Instead he is a literal hero.
Speaker 29 (01:34:09):
For saving her life because after seeing what happened To Renee,
good after seeing how good that guy felt to, say,
bitch they were mad that they didn't get to do
that to.
Speaker 5 (01:34:22):
Her what.
Speaker 2 (01:34:28):
You, Know, okay so they killed this guy Because alex
Pretty they killed him because they wanted to Beat Renee
good up, first but then they Just i'm not following
the logic there at, all but you know, what there you.
(01:34:50):
Go and, Finally, kylie the, one the only the leader
Of White Woman, wednesday our friend From brown who's now
going TO u because everybody it's going to get her masters.
Speaker 30 (01:35:05):
Shocker people need to stop pretending that ice is about,
order because it never has. Been it's always been about
fear and, intimidation specifically of people of.
Speaker 1 (01:35:13):
Color now we're.
Speaker 30 (01:35:13):
So far past that point that it's not about race,
necessarily it's about who is loyal to the administration and
who is. Not what they are calling, order What Fox
news is calling, order is actually about. Control violence is
okay when they do it and when it's government, sanctioned
but when it's someone trying to protect their, community like
The Black, panthers then it's a, problem and leftist communities
try to arm ourselves that it's an. Issue you're to
(01:35:34):
the point where if you SUPPORT, ice just come out
and say it and stop pretending that it's making society
safer at. All we are having public executions on camera
and or subsequently being posted online for the world to.
See there is no defense of.
Speaker 5 (01:35:46):
This there never has.
Speaker 30 (01:35:47):
Been but now you really can't deny what's. Happening so
if you SUPPORT, ice say, It say that you support
a murderous, regime that you support public executions of people
who aren't. Loyalists there's nothing for you to hide behind.
Speaker 1 (01:36:00):
Anymore there is no.
Speaker 38 (01:36:02):
Oh, well both sides to play devil's.
Speaker 5 (01:36:03):
Advocate that doesn't.
Speaker 30 (01:36:04):
Exist you are either an evil person who supports the
regime or you are someone.
Speaker 38 (01:36:08):
Who was fighting against. It pick your.
Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
Side now there you go pick your. Side do you Support,
ice the Evil? ICE a vast majority Of americans support
the work That ice. Does they do not support what
is going on. Now, see the beauty of having critical
thought is understanding that you don't stand alone right and
(01:36:32):
get to decide that your side is the righteous great.
Side we have people in this country who shouldn't be.
Here we have people that have done bad things here
that should be. Removed we as taxpayers shouldn't be on the,
hook and we shouldn't want these people. Here Most democrats
understand that that being, said has there been? Overreached? Absolutely
(01:36:54):
has there been people LARPing around couse playing and overdoing
it and putting people in bada situations and, yes even
deaths out of this that shouldn't have. Happened, Yeah i'll say.
It others in my industry are, like they're too. Afraid
i'll say. It so you can have law and order
without being a, dick and you can also say you
(01:37:15):
guys have overdone. It hence the reason we're gonna have
some de. Escalation there you. Go, meanwhile look at how
fast we're going. Here. Amazon what's going?
Speaker 5 (01:37:28):
On this?
Speaker 39 (01:37:28):
Morning amazon announcing they will be cutting sixteen thousand. Jobs
this isn't the second round of layoffs in just three.
Months the retail giant let fourteen thousand corporate employees go In.
Speaker 2 (01:37:39):
October that's that's a bit uh, oh another.
Speaker 39 (01:37:45):
Round they sent a message to workers today and the
company says they have been working to strengthen the organization
by reducing, layers increasing, ownership and removing. Bureaucracy with organizational
changes that started In october and they are now. Complete
amazon asshured employees their plan is not to make broadcuts
every few, months but that every team will continue to
(01:38:08):
evaluate and make adjustments as.
Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
Needed they also closed their their. Supermarkets they're going to
have one big giant SuperM you know the ones where
you walk in and they don't have to carry anything
but your phone or whatever with, you and you have no,
card there's nobody in. THERE i guess they're closing all
those and they're moving into one giant ONE i think In.
Chicago and then they're going to be focusing more on
(01:38:33):
the home deliveries of groceries rather than actual storefront side of.
Things and then you gotta THINK.
Speaker 39 (01:38:40):
Ai last, Summer AMAZON Ceo Andy jesse said he Expects
amazon's corporate workforce to change because of artificial. Intelligence And
amazon isn't alone. Here we are seeing a number of
different types of companies recently announcing cuts as they focus
more heavily ON. Ai From, pinterest which just announced it
would lay off less than fifteen percent of its workforce
(01:39:00):
and reduce office space To facebook And instagram Parent meta and.
Speaker 2 (01:39:06):
You're going to see a lot more of. This this
is not a situation that is is. New this has been.
Expected but they're also using it as an excuse to
trim the, fat thin the, herd whatever you want to call.
It because not all of these jobs are replaced BY.
Ai some of them, are but they're kind of getting
(01:39:27):
ahead of. It and in a lot of, times look big,
business especially in good, times they will over hire and
then when things settle, down they'll they'll start to. Trim
but there's more to the story than, this right AND
i think we're going to see more to the. Stories
everybody waits for the rate cut or not. CUT i
dont thinks rate cut coming, today and people are looking
at the economy and it's always about the. Economy stupid
(01:39:50):
the end of the, day it's always about the, economy
and people are looking around going is this is this
this beginning here of? Something are we really going to
start to see something Happen when it comes to the,
economy and you've, heard you, Know zach AND i talk about.
IT i don't want anything to happen in. ECONOMY i
want the economy to be. Great people who want the
(01:40:11):
economy to, fail you guys are, idiots you really. ARE
i said the same thing About Bill maher BEFORE. Covid
do you remember what he said BEFORE. Covid he's, LIKE
i think the only way we're going to get this
guy out of here right is if there's a massive
collapse in the. Economy and that was During trump's first
term and then THE covid came in that you, know everything.
(01:40:34):
Changed BUT i don't want the economy to. FAIL i
wanted to. SUCCEED i say this. OVER i don't want
to be gas lit and everything's great when that is
obviously not. True there are some serious issues in the.
Economy tariffs are going to. Start we're starting to feel,
those and it's report after report to saying it's being passed,
(01:40:56):
on you, know and trying to talk to people who are, like,
dude we're bringing in so much money from. Tariffs we're
paying ourselves money for, tariffs which means things are costing.
More we're not having other nations pay for. It as you,
Know trump administration may feel like that was what's going.
(01:41:17):
On so, YEAH i think there's gonna be more. LAYOFFS
i think it's gonna be slowed. DOWN i do not
think it's going to be a. Collapse and you have
some of those nihilistic people out there, right those those black,
pills that the world's coming to an end and the
stock market's going to go down to. Five, no that's
not gonna. HAPPEN i think there's going to be a
resetting in certain. LEVELS i think there's gonna be a
(01:41:39):
situation WHERE i think some of THE ai stuff's going
to bubble over as they start to, realize, hey you know, what.
Guys you know we've raised eighteen trillion dollars and the
chances of us making a profit anytime soon isn't isn't really.
Plausible SO i think you're gonna see some of that,
stuff AND ai is going to play a role in reducing,
size but it's also going to give opportunities out there
again before it takes. Over, actually kills us all but
(01:42:02):
it's it is a new, time and it's it's AND
i think we're gonna see some of that. Stuff and,
yes the tariffs and a lot of other stuff are
going to play a role in what is. Coming so
we'll see and again that you, know the rates and.
Stuff you, know as we were talking a couple of weeks,
Ago so what do you do with? Rates?
Speaker 31 (01:42:21):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:42:21):
You you you don't lower? Rates what? Happens, okay you
run the risk of potentially going into a recession maybe.
Mild you lower rates more and. More what Happens you
put inflation on blast and see it start to swell.
(01:42:42):
Again so it's this weird. Situation it's the you, know
you've got two bad. Choices which one are you going to?
Make you know what you? Think three, two, three, five three,
eight twenty four to twenty three At Chad benson, show
SURE x Your insta YouTube and. More all, right coming?

Is One Hit Wonder. Wednesday. Now a lot of people
text and they'll, say, Hey i'd like to hear this,
song and they don't always know what the song. Is
and this is one of those songs right where you
hear it and if you're a gen, excerpt it takes
(01:43:47):
you back to a. Time but also for a lot
of the younger, folks it's in a few movies that
you love and you don't know the name of the,
Band and many people don't even know the name of the.
Song but the minute you hear, it you, go oh,
OH i love this. One and in many cases you
can even sing the. Lyrics but again you don't know
the name of the song or the. Band, well we're
(01:44:07):
here to fix that. Today are you guys ready for
a specially awesome One Hit Wonder. Wednesday, now it's time
for another edition Of One Hit Wonder.
Speaker 34 (01:44:20):
Wednesday you may not remember the name of the, band
but you definitely know the. Song This, Bruiser this is
(01:44:46):
One Hit Wonder.
Speaker 2 (01:44:48):
Wednesday our one Hit Wonder today comes from a trio
out Of, Manchester Clive, Farrington Michael floriel And Andrew. Mann
they put the song together that became a hit in
the Back gaunt and. Right they had a small makeshift
studio that was like a tool, shed and they didn't
write any of it. Down they actually sang it into
(01:45:11):
a cassette. Recorder, now the interesting thing about this song
is again most people have no idea who this band.
Is they're called win In. Rome it flopped In. Britain
it was the reverse of A british invasion in the
sense that didn't do anything and it slowly climbed the charts.
Here but when you hear the, song you recognize it
immediately and you get into. It it's one of those
(01:45:33):
things where it is so, unmistakable it is so incredible
and it takes you back to a moment in time
from nineteen eighty. Seven ladies and, gentlemen your one Hit Wonder.
Today the trio In manchester called win In, rome the
song with the promise.
Speaker 23 (01:46:01):
If you need a, friend so a little to a
strange you know in the, End i'll always be. This
but when you're in doubt.
Speaker 2 (01:46:21):
And when you're in, dayer.
Speaker 23 (01:46:25):
Take a little, gound.
Speaker 31 (01:46:29):
Don't Be.
Speaker 2 (01:46:35):
BUT i was just thinking of the ride with a.
Speaker 23 (01:46:37):
PROMISE i know they don't tell the way up that.
Speaker 2 (01:46:43):
You wait around the world.
Speaker 31 (01:46:46):
All this.
Speaker 17 (01:46:48):
Promise.
Speaker 2 (01:46:49):
You the song was not a smash, it but it
has been used in numerous, commercials television, shows and, yes
even a movie that we all, Know Napoleon.
Speaker 24 (01:47:05):
Dynamite, WELL i remember getting the phone call in two
thousand and three from our ex keyboard player who'd moved To,
dallas and he called. Me he, said they want to
use the song in the. Movie and of course you
just don't know at that, Point, yeah, okay you, know
you don't know what it's going to be like or
how it's gonna. Do THEN i was watching television at
one o'clock in the morning and it was THE Mtv
(01:47:26):
Film awards And Daryl hannah comes running on. Stage he,
Says i've got a full throat shouting For Napoleon. Dynamite
SO i, thought If Daryl hannah's shouting for, it it's
got a. Chance and it's really funny Because andrew And
i've always been into film, music music scores and, Stuff
andrew's played this stuff from movies That i've never had,
before and it's always been a real. Interest and then
of course it can work the other way. Around we've
(01:47:47):
not written a song specifically for a, movie it was
used in a, movie so, yeah we got our wish
in the.
Speaker 2 (01:47:54):
End, yes they did massive hit from the movie that
re really revitalized their career because interestingly, enough they recorded
the song and nineteen eighty seven it came out late
in eighty seven through eighty. Eight by then the band
had pretty much, dissolved fell. Apart they wanted nothing to
(01:48:17):
do with each other music and they went their separate,
ways but renewed interest Because napoleon and several other covers
has given this thing new. Life thinking up your one
Hit wonder today an amazing song indeed from the trio
From manchester Called win In Rome The promise three, two, three,
