Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
So it happened. You knew it was gonna happen. Last night.
People were like, it's the earthquake. That was sense. You're like,
dun dunt, dun du when it comes to the midterms. No,
it was something that everybody expected. Can I just say
this though, a little bit of class for John Cornyn
who last night lost, you know us, the first loss

(00:36):
he's ever had in any race, and you saw it coming.
Trump was never really thrilled by him because he.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Was old school, old schools.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Not Trump's school. Trump demands loyalty. He was in Trump's world,
bit wishy washy, even though he voted with him always
pretty much.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
So he lost after a public service career lasting more
than four decades and eighteen consecutive campaign wins.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Tonight, we've come We've come up short in this primary runoff.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yes, you did. You got you got it handed to you.
I mean, you got beat down when it came to
this situation. I don't know what else to say. There's
not a lot else to say. The reality is what
the reality is Trump when it comes to the primaries,
he's what nine for nine, pretty easy to see what

(01:39):
it is that he does because he still has. And
remember who comes out in these situations, it's the people
that are really politically just they're sold for the cause.
So the ones who have the most fervent belief in

(02:00):
politics and their side, it's the ones that are going
to who in many cases have lived and breathed Trump,
especially over the last decade plus. But they are MAGA
through and through. But just because your MAGA through and
through doesn't mean that this is going to go the

(02:22):
way that you are hoping it's going to go. Because,
as we have talked about on numerous occasions, numerous occasions,
the general and a primary are separate.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
This is a real gift to Democrats in the state
because Ken Paxon.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
While he may be able to win in a primary,
is going to struggle in a general election.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Currently, Calshie and Polymarke and everybody has it about even
at this moment in time, that's understandable. I expect that
to change. What are you going to do if you're
Ken Paxton, how are you going to run this thing?
If you're Ken Paxton, how do you? As Ken Paxton right,

(03:17):
who has got, as we've talked about, so much baggage,
how do you frame this race, well, it's simple. It's
all about the culture wars. That's what it is. It's
one hundred percent about the culture wars. Make it about
him being all of the things. He's evil, he's bad,

(03:38):
he's all of the things that are going to destroy America.
That is how he's going to frame it.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
And finally, he's a threat to our very way of
life and our values. I mean, he's a vegan who
thinks God is non binary and that there's actually six
biological sexes. It's hard to imagine someone more radical than that.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
First of all, it's not a vegan. Secondly, once again,
it's easy to take something and spin it, and they're
going to But that's how he's going to play this.
That is how he's going to play this. It's going
to go with the culture wars because that's what you
have to do if you're him, because what are you
going to run on? Are you going to run on
the fact that you, I don't know, are a disaster

(04:25):
when it comes to many of the ways that you
have handled things in Texas, right, and I'm not talking
about taking on Biden or Obama, which all ags do.
They take on the other side we know that. I'm
talking about a lot of the other stuff to enrich yourself, whistleblowers,
the affairs, things of that nature. And then if you're

(04:49):
going to have to run when it comes to what's
going on right now in the economy for the average
person and being is that you have decided that you,
you know, you and Trump are I mean yours. You
are more maybe more Magga than Trump in some ways,
but you're going to get put into that situation where

(05:10):
you have to now go with whatever's going on in
the economy, and if the economy sucks, you're going to
pay the price for it. So the culture wars. What
have we talked about all things being equal? Yeah, I'm
gonna go with the person that's most sane. That's all
things being equal. Right now, things aren't equal, things are unequal.

(05:32):
People are pissed, people are angry, people are frustrated.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
I'm an eighth generation Texan. I've been eating barbecue since
before Ken Paxton's first indictment, and if all they have
on me is lying about me being a vegan, I
feel pretty good about our chances this November. And you're
absolutely right. You know, so many of my family members,
my friends, my neighbors who voted for Donald Trump in

(05:56):
twenty twenty four. They voted for him because they thought
he was going to lower costs. They thought he was
going to end the forever wars. They thought he was
going to release the Epstein files and drain the swamp.
But just one year later, they've seen how he's done
the exact opposite. Through his crazy tariffs, He's made everything
more expensive. He has started even more conflicts around the

(06:19):
around the world, including this new forever war in Iran.
He has done everything he could to keep the Epstein
files from seeing the light of day. And the swamp
in Washington is bigger than it's ever been. So there's
a lot of disillusionment. And what I'm trying to do
is speak directly to those Texans who feel disillusioned, who
feel like this system doesn't work for them, that it

(06:41):
only works for billionaires and puppet politicians like Paxton and Cornyn.
And I think if we can bring those Texans together
across all these divisions in our politics, if we can
see past the distractions and the culture war tactics, I
think we can do something extraordinary. We can end thirty

(07:01):
years of one party rule in Texas, and we can
transform American politics in the process, and that gets me
excited every day to hit the campaign trail and talk
directly to Texans about the things they actually care about.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
So he has a good way with people. He has
a even if you disagree with him, he's hard not
to go. I kind of like you. You're okay, You're cool.
I mean, I don't have to agree with your politicy.
Now you'll get again again. The Culture Wars is where

(07:38):
they're going to go. There are so many other issues
that the average person cares about. You and I have
talked about this on numerous occasions, and those are when
life is expensive and hard getting more expensive, and stress
is growing because of the expense of life, ends up happening.

(08:01):
You care less about the culture Wars and more about
the checkbook. So we'll see what this looks like. Let
the Culture Wars begin in Texas three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three atch had Bedson Show. Is
your ex, your Insta, your YouTube and everything else? Hope
you guys are well. Meanwhile, uh nothing. Still when it

(08:25):
comes to Iran, what is going to happen? Nobody knows
they're meeting today they're gonna have you know, Camp David.
They're gonna have this big conversation about what's next when
it comes to Iran. Uh, there doesn't seem to be
anything right now at this moment in time that looks
like we're gonna get to some sort of quick deal.

(08:53):
You know, the order, what is it? Is it gonna be? Uh,
you know, it's a memorandum, right, this is what it's
going on be supposedly, But today the you know, Electric
Boogloo two, the Ayatola two, he came out and and
essentially said, yeah, no, this isn't gonna happen. You guys
violated the ceasefire and there's no basis there anywhere you

(09:16):
guys can go in the Middle East that can be safe.
So they're stuck between a rock and a hard place
when it comes to what's the next move.

Speaker 8 (09:24):
President Trump taken social media yesterday saying that a ram's
going to give up its highly enrich uranium. It's got
something like a thousand pounds of highly enriched uranium in
other words, uranium that is enriched to such a level
that it wouldn't take much more to then turn it
into weapons grade. And it still has despital the bombing,

(09:46):
the ability to cascade centrifuges. In other words, it means
it still has the ability to create more highly enrich uranium.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yes, and there's no end in sight when it comes
to this situation with how they are viewing everything. Iran
is viewing it from. We're no longer going to allow
people to traverse through the quote unquote international waterways that
are our waterways in the Straits of Hormuz. We are

(10:16):
not going to allow all of this stuff that has
happened to us to continue to happen. And we aren't
giving you, guys, especially the Western America, our uranium. Now
we may give it to China, China, we may give
it to Russia, but we're not giving it to you.

(10:37):
We're not. So this is not a good situation. And
when you couple in you've got Israel who's flat out
said this deal is no good, can't have this deal,
won't have this deal. You're trying to force other countries
into the Abraham Accords, who, by the way, they're fine
with Israel in some ways. The leaders, right, the kings,

(11:02):
their people aren't. And guess what, they don't want to
piss their people off. So this isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
And we're gonna talk to Zach Abraham Chievestment Officer Bulwark
next hour about what potentially is going to really happen

(11:22):
when it comes to oil once this is all said
and done, hopefully sooner rather than later. Hopefully sooner rather
than later. So hope you guys are doing well. Happy
hump Day.

Speaker 9 (11:33):
Now.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Is Trump sick? That's a fair question to ask. A
lot of people are well. If you bring it up,
they freak out. They're like, you can't say that about him, No,
we can. It's a fair question to ask. Again, Walter
Reid Medical Center, there goes Trump why is he there
for a third time?

Speaker 10 (13:30):
President Trump, leaving Walter Reed Medical Center after a three
hour visit, is third in the last thirteen months. Declaring
himself in good health, the White House says he underwent
routine annual dental and medical assessments as part of his
regular prementive healthcare. President Trump, who will turn eighty in June,
writing on social media, everything checked out perfectly, but tonight

(13:52):
no further details from the president's doctor.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
So he took first of all, we're going to tell
you this right now. You are not two hundred and
twenty four pounds. I was going to put that out there.
That's not real. So I had several people yesterday when
the like he put this out there, I'm six', four
two hundred and twenty four, pounds and people are, like, yeah, yeah, no,

(14:19):
no you're. Not but there are some, worries and let's be.
Real he's an eighty year old man who is going
through a lot of stuff that would crush a lot of.
People doesn't sleep very, much and by all, accounts has
if you, will uh you, know delayed father. Time So

(14:45):
i'm not saying he's, sick but it's a fair question asked.

Speaker 10 (14:47):
Photos showing bruising on his, hands which he has been
covering with. Makeup The White house has said it's from
frequent handshaking and the use of. Aspirin President trump has
also been spotted with swollen, legs which the president's doctor
said as a result of chronic venus insufficiency of benign
in common. Condition earlier this, Year The president revealed he
received THE ct scan In, october after The White house

(15:09):
initially said it was AN. Mri the president's docctor said
the imaging was preventative and its cardiovascular system shows excellent.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Health so he also took The montreal, test which is
a cognitive. Test he said he got thirty out Of,
thursday which shows whether or not you are in a
position where you're seeing it declined, mentally and if you
score twenty six to thirty you're doing. Great anything below

(15:36):
there may be. Issues you get under like twenty one or,
whatever then you start, Thinking, okay this person may have
issues when it comes to on set, dementia thinks of that.
Nature it is what it. IS i, mean you, know
whether you believe it or. NOT i don't think it's
wrong to ask a question after what happened To. BIDEN
a lot of people out there freak out because they, think,
well how could You, well we can because we, should

(15:59):
because that that's what you do in a situation like.
This what do you? Think let me? Help three, two, three,
five three, eight twenty four to twenty three At Chad
Benson show with your, ex Your, insta YouTube and everything
else right on The Chad Benson. Show, meanwhile it Is
White Woman. Wednesday but we've got so much stuff going.
On i'm just going to try to squeeze a few
things in here On White Woman. Wednesday like our good Friend, kyler.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Someone who spent a lot of time around, CONSERVATIVES i
would say that most people fall into one of four.
Categories you don't know, Me, Hi I'm, kylie AND i
dismantled white supremacy on my.

Speaker 11 (16:27):
Channel category number one is.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Greed it is possible to have conservative people who actually
are quite. Intelligent it's going to be like Your Ben,
shapiro Your Elon, musk people that align themselves with The
Conservative party because they know that they're not going to be.
Taxed they're going to be very very, wealthy and they're
not going to have to pay into the system that
they are benefiting From group number two is the racist.
People these people are motivated by simply not wanting black
and brown people to have the same privileges afforded to,
them so their entire personality is being racist.

Speaker 11 (16:51):
Explicitly and being.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Edgy group number three is just the people that genuinely
are ignorant of the way that the system. Works they
didn't grow up around a lot of. Education they barely
coasted three high. School they're not really learning on a.

Speaker 11 (17:02):
Day to day.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Basis they hate, reading they're very anti, intellectual and again
this has nothing to do with, college but.

Speaker 11 (17:06):
It has everything to do with their deep disdain for
learning and.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
Growing and, finally group, FOUR i would say we just
have the apathetic, people people who grew up in the
culture OF maga and don't really have any empathy for others.

Speaker 11 (17:17):
And they don't desire to break out of the.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
System although sometimes there are people who are, empathetic but
they truly are so sheltered that they don't know what's
going on in the.

Speaker 11 (17:23):
World how this, Helps, BYE.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I hope that. Help you definitely helped me to know
What i'm all. About speaking of What i'm all, about
Midterm monday is normally do It. Monday we're Off Monday Out.
Buddy Jim kennedy joins a program talk about last Night
texas primary, runoff among other. Things Straight, ahead this is
The Chad Benson, Show The Chad Benson, Show.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Show all, right it is a special edition Of. Midterm mondays,
says we go over The texas primary runoff last night
About Jim. Kennedy Kennedy institute Pulb Policy research joins the.
Program Jim paxton. Won not a. Shocker here's What paxton,
brings not a lot of money and a whole lot of. Baggage.

Speaker 12 (18:23):
Jim, yeah, no you're exactly. Right this is the preferred
matchup for The. Democrats this is what they. Wanted they
didn't want to run Against John. Cornyon they wanted to
Run tallerrico Against, paxson and they got their. Wish, so you, know,
yeah this is be careful what you wish for because
you may actually get. It and we're gonna see now
because we're gonna have you, know we're still gonna have
five months plus to the. General but you, Know Ken

(18:44):
paxson has, baggage he's got a former, impeachment he's got,
skeletons and he's also got the ability that unfortunately to
put his foot in his mouth at times, too that
can come up at any point in this. Race he's
run state ride before AS, theag but he'll have a
lot more media pressure on him than he did before
when we ran for A. G Tela rico though you,

(19:06):
know never been elected on this on a state Wide
texas office to, anything so he's gonna be you, know
it'll be his first time in the major spotlight for
A senate, seat so he's got that ability to so
it'll be. Interesting the problem again though for The republicans
that this is going to, create and we've kind of
mentioned it once or, twice is That cornin probably would
be a fifty to one hundred million dollars cheaper. Matchup

(19:29):
he would have easily he would probably easy Be Tella
rico by ten. Points With, packson he's still probably going to,
win but it's going to cost The republicans a lot,
more and it'll cost him even more if if something
else comes out on On, packson if There's apple research
out there that has not been revealed, yet frought by The,
democrats or another scandal breaks, out or he puts his
foot in his mouth and says something dumb. That you, know,

(19:51):
again you're looking like another fifty one hundred million dollars
for The, republicans and again they've only got so much.
Money they're going to have more than The, democrats but
they've only got so much. Nationwide And i'm sure they'd
like to throw some money In michigan if the if
the Favorite democrat there, Wins they're gonna have to throw
more money At mained than they expected to because of
Because platners got a lot more traction they. Expected they're

(20:14):
not even sure he was gonna. Win he is gonna win,
now so that's gonna cost some more. Money they'd like
to have thrown some money At New hampshire to pick that.
Up so, yeah this is gonna be what exactly What trump.
Wanted but in the end it may not necessarily be
the best thing for The republicans if they want to
control The senate or increase Their senate.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Majority you, know when we talk about the quote unquote,
BAGGAGE i want everybody to listen to a little bit
of the baggage that comes With paxton because there's probably
more out. There but when you go and look at the,
scandals because let's talk about some of those. Scandals first of,
all his wife's divorced him because of biblical. Grounds uh
what was? That you had the securities fraud in twenty

(20:56):
fifteen that he paid a ton of MONEY i think
to make go. Way eventually he pled not, guilty but
had to cover, restitution, ethics, training community. Service then you
had the whistleblower and bribery allegations in twenty twenty that came.
Out finally got impeached in twenty twenty three by The,

(21:17):
republicans by the, way but he got by. There and
then of course he had the biblical. Issue and when
you're a person who goes out and talks about you,
Know god the way he does and push that out.
There you, know we were watching, TONIGHT i was joking with. You you,
Know cornin is surrounded by a whole bunch of people

(21:37):
and packson's on stage by. Himself there's a reason for,
that because you know your wife left, you, who by the,
way is also a powerful state.

Speaker 9 (21:48):
Senator yeah, no it's, again he's comes with.

Speaker 12 (21:50):
Baggage he's you know, again this is gonna be a
much more difficult, run difficult race for The republicans than
it would have been if it had been. Corning but
he checks all the mega boxes For President Donald, trump
And President Donald trump wanted him to, win And texas
has still got ENOUGH maga people in it that Are
republicans that voted for him by about a ten point
margin when all settles. Out SO i was looking at

(22:13):
the prediction markets last, night take or the night. Before
take them with a grain assault for whatever you want with.
Them but it was like ninety three percent For paxton
on you, KNOW i was looking at. It so it
was almost a foregone conclusion that he was gonna win
based upon those. Things but, again be careful what you ask,
for Because republicans are not gonna have to.

Speaker 9 (22:33):
Throw more money at this.

Speaker 12 (22:34):
RACE i don't think that TELL i mean Tall rico can,
win and THAT'S i, mean that would not be impossible
for that to. Happen and if that, HAPPENS i would
not be you, KNOW i wouldn't fall over in a you,
know in a faint because from surprise if Tall rico
managed to pull it, out especially with whatever can, happen
because you know that whatever The dems have done FOR
upo research On paxton they haven't turned that out in

(22:56):
the primary because a they didn't want, him they didn't
Want paxton lose and be why waste it? Now save
it for An october surprise For Tall. Rico so, yeah
it'll be interesting and there'll probably be some stuff that
will be.

Speaker 9 (23:08):
RELEASED i don't know that there's, any but.

Speaker 12 (23:10):
There's quite possibly that if The dems have done a
good job on, it there's possibly something out there that
they can find or again he can make a mistake
or something else can. HAPPEN i, mean if this war,
continues we've talked, about if this inn, continues in my,
opinion Passed Labor, day it's going to be it's going
to cast a pall on All republicans as far as they're.

Speaker 9 (23:28):
Races and if there is a you, know one of these.

Speaker 12 (23:30):
Quote unquote mythical blue waves that, Appear Tall rico could
be a guy that sweeps in office and sweeps packsing.

Speaker 9 (23:35):
Out.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Absolutely talking To Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Plug Policy, Research,
jim there was this week in, redistricting there was some you,
know there's it's weird because some of these lawsuits that
have come down that we're hearing our lawsuits that, happened you,
know a couple of years. Ago then they were, adjudicated
but then all of a sudden they were brought up,

(23:56):
again and then they're back, here and, then you, Know
i'm so confused about where some of these states. Stand
and some of, them by the, Way South carolina, said,
nah we're not going to. Redistrict we're going to leave
it at as it, is because that's not what we're. About.

Speaker 12 (24:12):
Yeah South carolina's a very interesting one that. Broke that
broke On, tuesday and The South Carolina senate did not
approve the redistricting. Effort the governor had called the special,
session said come on back in, Everybody house And. Senate
The house, said, sure no, problem we'll approve the, redistricting
reprove the new. Maps and one of the caveats of
that was going to draw Away Jim clyburn's, seat who'd

(24:33):
been In congress for about thirty four years. Now he's
running for re election again at age eighty, five and
he would have lost his opportunity because this seat would
have been drawn.

Speaker 9 (24:42):
Away but The South Carolina, senate.

Speaker 12 (24:44):
Twelve republicans On tuesday vote with The, democrats said, nope
this isn't the way we do things In South, Carolina
SO i KNOW i would give them around of applause
for doing. THAT i don't like jerrymandering either, way whenever it's,
done whether it's done In california Or South carolina Or
florida or T exis Or alabama Or, virginia it's just
not the right thing to. Do you need to win

(25:04):
on your, arguments not on because certain people can because you're,
are because there aren't enough people in that district to elect.
Somebody so, yeah so that worked out well as far
as The alabama. Won, yeah that one's been The republican the.
Guy give them. Credit they've been trying this for a.
While so after the twenty twenty, census the new maps
got drawn based upon the population, changes and there were

(25:25):
two Black democratic districts In. Alabama so in twenty twenty
three Were republicans In. Alabama we Run alabama, obviously and
they have both the Upper house in the Lower house
and the State Supreme court and the governor's mansion In
alabama because it is one of the more red it's
one of the red est states in the. Country in
twenty twenty, three they decided you know, What we're going
to implement new, maps and we're going to drop one

(25:46):
of the two black Districts democrat districts and only have
One democrat district in the. State, well that, court The
democrats of court filed, suit and it went to a
federal district court In birmingham who basically, said, no you
can't do.

Speaker 9 (26:00):
That and that case went.

Speaker 12 (26:01):
On they appealed and went on for a while and
went on to like towards the end of twenty four
early twenty.

Speaker 9 (26:06):
Five, now this couple.

Speaker 12 (26:07):
Weeks ago when THE Us Supreme Court scotis said that you,
know that isn't necessarily a. Problem not that that case
specifically adjudicated By, Scotus it was A louisiana case that
they saw some light that they could retry their maps.
Again so the governor, said, sure go. Ahead The, house
The house in the upper Lower house voted for. It
even the State Supreme court In alabama said, nope the

(26:28):
maps are, good go ahead and do. It but again
The democrat filed suit again In. Birmingham don't know if
they got the same, Judge and today the court ruled that,
no you can't do, that and quote unquote tainted by
intentional race based. Discrimination we have decided that you will
not be able to implement your new. Maps you will
need to go back to your old maps that we you,

(26:48):
know that we told you three years ago that you
had to. Keep, Now i'm sure The alabama government will
appeal that to THE Us Appeals court and that will
be you, know and then that will be an ongoing.

Speaker 9 (26:59):
Case we'll cover on jury mandering this.

Speaker 12 (27:00):
Week but right, Now alabama has moved its PRIMARIES i,
believe back To august because they were hoping to implement
the new maps over the last couple of, weeks just
like as we saw it happen In, louisiana they'd moved
theirs back other than The senate race To, august And South,
carolina pending thinking that they were going to have these
new maps, implemented had MOVED theirs back, Also so they've

(27:22):
got three states that have moved their elections back That
South carolina they'll have old, Maps alabama they may have new,
maps they may not have new, Maps And louisiana will
probably have new maps unless somehow that case.

Speaker 9 (27:35):
Gets appeeled again back to the court.

Speaker 12 (27:37):
System so, yes that is where we are for jury,
mannering and nothing has changed In. Virginia that one is
still a settled case with the with the election they
had being overturned and not being. Certified and for right
now The georgia maps will be back to the ones
that were six' five For the democrat versus the ten
Ones of democrat majority that they had tried.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
To implement Talking To, Jim kennedy kennedy answer To The
Public policy research last questions the Little, midterm monday but
it's a. Wrap up we're doing it On a wednesday
because obviously Day Off, memorial day and then of course
we had the the primaries and runoffs and whatnot yesterday
a week well. Six Days The los angelinos will be

(28:19):
going to the, ballot somewhat if, you will because most
of everybody's mailed. Everything in but the reality of what
may be Happening in, LA now i don't know if
he is going to make it in The Runoff Old,
Spencer pratt, I'M assuming i mean into the on the Ballot.

(28:40):
For november i'm assuming he's. Going to but there is,
a sense even with some of his, faux pause that
there is. Movement there watching the amount of people on
the left that are giving money, to him who are
Just Over southern california being. A cesspool is it's actually kind.

Speaker 9 (29:01):
Of, REFRESHING yeah i think it's kind of an.

Speaker 12 (29:04):
Interesting, POINT again i don't necessarily say it's a, tipping
POINT but i think it's where if you don't do
something To Fix los angeles at, this point meaning get
rid of democratic liberal progressive Leadership Like karen bass or
the other person, That's Running, nithea rahman who IT Was,
dsa aligne though evidently she's not ENDORSED, by dsa has

(29:25):
been on the city council since. Twenty twenty you may
know she may be known to the listeners because she
was the famous city council person who said when there
was a Rash of keller to converter thefts that the
problems were the Fact that toyota made the cars too
easy to allow you to, steal them and the criminals
were just poor people that had been beaten down, by

(29:46):
racism and we're just doing everything they could to survive
by stealing the. Calodic converters at no time faulted. The
criminals further action she's taken also a similar action with
them with the street. Lights problem we've had a large
street light problem in the City Of lass angelis where
they are stealing the copper out of the straight lights
that go from the transformers up to. The lights, and

(30:07):
again you know it has been a problem where well
it's the criminals that are the victims of it and
they shouldn't really, be there just trying to make ends
meet and Very Expensive. Los angeles so it'll. Be interesting
it isn't something isn't done in. This election it's and
it's business. AS usual i don't know where you go
To get. LA back i don't know how much farther
it can fall before it. Becomes unrecoverable, to me it's

(30:29):
like an election cycle away From where, california Is and
california has its own choices that make for governor when
it comes Up on. June second, but yeah this is
going to be very innice. TO watch I think pratt
will make it in, the runoff but it's going to be,
a very very tough battle for him To. Beat, bass
again you're looking at about a four to one d
over r a breakdown by the registered voters in the

(30:52):
City Of. Los angeles she just got Endorsed By samuel
Jackson BY.

Speaker 9 (30:57):
Samuel l jackson the.

Speaker 12 (30:59):
Other day she's been indoors, by many many CELEBRITIES. In
la she's been Endorsed, By union she's been endorsed by,
political leaders and you know she's not, you know she's
able to raise, the money she's got the machine, behind
her and, you know for, some reason it's just more
of the. Same here and there are enough people that are.
Fed up there's people again In the palisades that are.

(31:20):
Fed up the People In outa dina don't get the
vote in the city Election because altadena is technically in, the.

Speaker 9 (31:25):
County not the City Of.

Speaker 12 (31:26):
Los angeles, SO yeah i, think again if something isn't
done about it, this TIME then i Don't really you,
kind of in, my opinion you just basically throw the
keys in it and walk away from it and just,
whatever happens you just wash your hands. Of it and
it's like like this Is a, democrat problem and do what.
You made but a lot of people are going to.
Start leaving people have already.

Speaker 9 (31:44):
Been leaving but more we'll.

Speaker 12 (31:46):
Start leaving the entertainment business been, leaving It Leaving los
angeles when that. Starts leaving even though a lot of
them obviously, vote liberal but they they'll, vote liberal but
they don't necessarily want to Live.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
In los angeles they vote.

Speaker 12 (31:59):
Liberal anymore so it's be interesting they're taking their liberal votes,
somewhere else and the business is also going. Somewhere else
george is a big site for, it now and of
course at other places have been. COLLECTING it i think
we've even national kicking up some of the entertainment business too.

Speaker 9 (32:12):
Down there the movie is not in. This way the
music business they already have that.

Speaker 12 (32:17):
Down there so, but yeah this is a turning point
where it basically something's going to HAPPEN or i don't
think we come Back for you're just gonna have to
throw the city and give it to the criminals and
wall it up and just.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Leave It Jim kennedy kennedy Instut To Public. Policy research

benson show coming up our number two of. The program
more on last night's not so surprising Victory By. Ken
Paxton but trump being nine for nine when it comes
to his picks. Is great but this one here has

(35:55):
an issue that some of the others aren't going to
have to, deal with and that. Is Likability hardcore mega.
Likes him but does that mean that he's going to
be able to take that and expand the tent And
Win in november we'll talk. About, THAT iran a bunch of.
Other suffer Budy', zach abram chiefstment Officer from borgs and

Speaker 2 (36:49):
The Chad.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
Benson show.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Yesterday we found out who's gonna be On A world.

Speaker 15 (36:58):
Cup, team guys you are watching that video is because you.
ARE in i am so excited to communicate that you
are going to be in the roster For The world
cup twenty. Twenty six In The world cup that we
are going. To cost i'm show you guys on seeing
In the.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
York people excited kind of what. We expected a few
surprises along. The ways i'm getting pumped For The world
cup as you guys know what do? We eat essentially
two weeks away from kicking this thing off two weeks.
From tomorrow there were a, few surprises. SOME snubs i

(37:37):
will Say That tanner testament not. Making it he is
Plays For olympique Lyon. In france didn't, make it and
one of the reasons is is he's been sitting out
the last month. Or so he's been, playing great but
he's got a bit of. A Strain, and pochettino who's,

(37:58):
our manager is if you have, a sniffle you're probably
not gonna make the squad because everybody's got to. BE
available i was surprised too that we Didn't Bring aiden Morris,
from middlesbrough who's been. A bulldog there were a few

(38:20):
other surprises along, the way but this is what he
felt was the team that's going to be there and
compete for us to do something serious AND to i
think potentially go a. Long way we're going to break
it down over the next couple of days on how
good we are and what our. Chances are but this

(38:42):
is easily our best team that we have had because
these kids are, now men and they are now not
just going and playing Sporadically. In europe they play for
some of the biggest clubs in the biggest leagues in.
The WORLD and i do believe this is the start

(39:03):
of what is going to be, some amazing amazing times
FOR the us men's. National team how far we go
and this one is, one THING but i not only
look at, these GUYS but i look what's behind them.
As well where we've got kids, that are, you know
thirteen and fourteen who Are in europe now training full

(39:23):
time and going to. School there and it's because of
Players like Pool of sick and stuff that. That's Happening
so i'm pumped. About that, Last night speaking, of competition
there wasn't much. OF one i don't know if you're aware,
of this But, Primaries texas paxton started. Pulling away trump,

(39:43):
Endorsed him trump got what, he Wanted and cornyn. Got
CRUSHED can i, just say Class Act, john cornyn you
don't have to like him, or not however you feel,
about him comes out last night and he knew he
wasn't going, to wait and he had moved his celebratory,

(40:04):
you know event to a much. Smaller venue he could
read the, tea leaves if, you will and he knew
that that wasn't going. To happen and.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
He lost after a public service career lasting more than
four decades and eighteen consecutive, campaign, wins tonight we've.

Speaker 9 (40:24):
Come up short in this.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
Primary, runoff yeah he got, blown out but loan out,
big time and that was, YOU know, i mean there's
nothing else you. Can say It's the trump effect when
it comes to, the primaries doesn't mean it's going to
translate to. The general totally.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Different situation i've spent most of my time In the
senate Building The republican Party, in texas and he's IN
The us Senate and i've always Supported the republican TICKET
and i intend to do so again in this.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
General election he's gonna need it because you're gonna have
to go raise money. For him and for him That Is,
ken paxson who has a plenty, of baggage and we've.
Discussed that we see where he is going when it
comes to how he's going to Take, on talarico which
is it's about the fact that it's he's, a vegan

(41:22):
and he's about Genders and god is non gender. Good whatever, and.

Speaker 7 (41:27):
Finally he's a threat to our very way of life and.
OUR values, i mean he's a vegan Who thinks god
is non binary and that there's actually six. Biological sexes
it's hard to imagine someone more radical.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Than that is that? Really radical is he really? A
vegan he is not, a vegan and he has said
that on. Numerous occasions that had to do with the
fact that he got like a breakfast taco that, was
vegetarian and that's where they ran. With it, and LOOK

(42:03):
does i don't agree With everything? Tallerico? Does okay and
when he talked about, the genders it didn't talk so
much about, the genders. The sex, you know there is
several different syndromes or things. Like that you, Know that
but it's that's where you're going. With this so that's what.

(42:27):
You're doing what you're Doing, Is paxton you're going to
go at a time when we're, at war at a
time when we're in a situation where people are struggling
to make. Ends meet you have, nothing else so you
go back. To it and when all things, are EQUAL
as i have said on, Numerous, occasions okay you Know

(42:48):
what i'm not going? With crazy right if somebody thinks
that they can be, you know a frog or, a
wolf that just. Can't, happen sorry you can identify whatever,
you want, that's, Fine whatever but if you really believe
that that's. AN issue, i mean we recognize that it's
not really what, he believes but that's where they're going
to go. With it they're going to go in that

(43:11):
direction because they don't have. Anything else they don't not
right now doesn't mean it can't change between now and
when everybody goes to, the polls especially when it comes to.
The economy but at this moment, in, time no there's
a lot of Issues, that paxton who's got a lot of,
baggage already is going to have to face the fact

(43:31):
that take that, baggage away you're still fighting an uphill
battle when it comes to how frustrated people are with
the administration and the way that the.

Speaker 6 (43:41):
Country's going something just Happened. In texas the most corrupt
Politician in america just Became the republican nominee For The United.
States senate three, Years Ago ken paxton was impeached by
his own party for using his public office to enrich
himself and his donors at the expense of. The people

(44:05):
that kind of corruption is the rot at the core
of this. Broken system it's why we can't. Afford anything
it's why we can't get ahead no matter how hard.
We work for, fifty years mega donors and their puppet
Politicians Like ken paxton have stolen from us with, their bribes,
their bailouts and their billionaire. Tax Breaks ken paxton has

(44:29):
gotten away. With it they've all gotten away. With it
but that ends this year in, this state in. This
race if we the people can come together to defeat
the most corrupt Politician, in america we can defeat this entire.
Corrupt system we can start unrigging. This economy we can

(44:51):
start raising our pay cutting, our taxes lowering. Our costs
we can finally. Get ahead it's time to come together
the People Versus. Ken paxton that's.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
PRETTY powerful, i mean will. It work? Right now, polling
Average tall rico is up by about two Betting cal
she's got it kind. OF square i think polymarket Has
tall rico had a. Little BIT as i, said yesterday
the issue For the Republicans is paxson has a lot.
Of baggage we recognize that he's not super beloved in

(45:28):
outside of hardcore Maga, in texas even though it's a
very red state still and when everybody goes, and, says
hey What? About betto what? About this What About? Ted
Cruz ted cruz wasn't as unpopular as some, people thought
because the numbers beared that out even prior to, you
know some of the issues. He's. Had uh but on top,

(45:51):
Of that beto wasn't. Very good so there's a lot
that is much different and was nowhere near a slick
AND as i think formidable As tallar rico is going,
to BE but i still think it's an uphill battle
For tallar Rico in texas Because, it's TEXAS and i

(46:12):
think it's an uphill Battle For ken paxton because He's,
kN paxton and the baggage, is big no doubt. About
that there's a lot. Of it we talked about. It
yesterday he's gonna need a couple. Of alleys he's gonna
need those. Push carts and if he starts Talking about
god and things of, that nature he's gonna have a

(46:33):
serious issue defending some of his, prior transgressions of which we. Know,
about meanwhile one of the other issues that is bogging down,
this administration AND dare I, say america which is this Issue.

Speaker 8 (46:49):
With iran anyone who's gone to the gas station recently
knows that the impacts of this war is very real
For most, american consumers and there's no clear end, to
that even though discussions are ongoing about some kind of.
Intermediate settlement we've, heard many many predictions that the. Enders

(47:10):
inside we've seen lots of deadlines Imposed By president trump
that have come and gone and had.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
No impact and their Meeting Today Camp David big. Cabinet
meeting what does it mean is we've talked about and
we'll continue to talk about there's only bad options at
this point in time when it Comes, to iran and
the bad option is your deal is going to look
somewhat Similar to, obama's probably and yet at the same

(47:39):
time it's going to look way more financially beneficial For
the iranians and the. EGO side i Don't think trump
is going to be able to. STOMACH that i think
he's going to struggle in a major way. With that
let me know what. You think, two, three, five, three

are but it also shows you one situation like this

at least he does his own lyrics because he's having fun,
with it because he's.

Speaker 9 (51:21):
A bit of.

Speaker 14 (51:21):
A comedian steitler started writing these songs about the places
he was visiting as a way to fill time and
be creative during his sobriety journey first Time. In mexicosity
suno has faced. Legal Trouble Warner music group accused OF
the ai platform of producing tracks that were indistinguishable from
the work by, real artists but the, companies settled even creating.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
A partnership Want.

Speaker 14 (51:44):
To stuff Music Journalist tomas mier says he was obsessed
with the song from the beginning and that transparency.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
Is key this comedian is being super transparent in his,
social media saying THESE are ai, generated songs but not
everybody's gonna.

Speaker 7 (51:58):
DO that.

Speaker 9 (52:04):

talarco look first, of ALL can i just, say this
prior To tallar rico wasn't a Fan. Of, paxton secondly

(53:09):
as a person who does not, do drugs the Way
that texas In Particular dan Patrick and paxton have prosecuted
hemp and even medical marijuana is absurd because it's the
hypocrisy of the world that they live by that frustrates
the hell out. Of me, it SHOULD and i continue

(53:32):
to tell, you guys they are going to come hard
for him In The culture wars in a, major Way.
Tallar rico that's how they're going to. Do it but
you're corning yesterday, saying look no matter what, anybody thinks
the reality Is tallar rico can raise Money And ken
paxton will struggle to do so they're going to have

(55:04):
YOU and i we're laughing off the AIR because i
don't think anybody really kind of gets what's.

Speaker 16 (55:09):
Going on we've done a lot of work, on THIS
and i think this is something very important for people.
To understand and first, of all let's. START this i
always like to say this from the beginning, because nobody,
including me knows exactly where these things. Should be there
is no oracle, out there certainly, Not Me so i'm
not telling you where the price. Should be but for
anybody that's scratching their head or that has heard us

(55:32):
talk about it and, they're like, you know, PRICE oil
i thought it'd be a, lot higher it. Is, Higher
okay so what's happening in oil's, markets Is and i'll
go through this, really quick but oil is what we
refer to as as a futures market and as a,
future's curve meaning for all kinds. Of reasons you've got front,

(55:52):
month oil which is typically the first, sixty days so
like over the next. Sixty days we call it front
month because it's usually a month that if or, Whatever
like so front month oil would be what's remaining right
Now in may and then the rest of, you right
and then we start pricing it out down down down.
The road so we've got Prices for december oil of.

(56:13):
This year so LETTING when i tell you that oil
markets are not pricing. This correctly let me explain to
YOU what. I mean you can hear some pretty elaborate
and compelling arguments for those that think the spot market.
IS right i do not think, it IS but i
can understand some of. The arguments AND when i say,

(56:33):
spot market that's. The mark that's the price you're seeing.
Right now IT'S. The, nbc okay.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
HERE'S how i know the price on oil.

Speaker 16 (56:41):
Is wrong coming into, this scenario you had something, Like
this december's contract coming into. The deal front month oil
three months ago was trading at, sixty, seven okay from
front month at.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
Sixty seven.

Speaker 16 (57:03):
Over the course of This now december oil contract of
this year is trading.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
At eighty so what the market is telling you is
that what.

Speaker 16 (57:13):
Has occurred so at this point about a billion and
a half oil barrels of oil getting. Pulled, offline okay. It's,
gone now you, can print you can pump, it again
but it. Takes, time right Like a you've got a
billion and a half barrel gap in the supply at,
this point and you're running and that number is moving
up by somewhere between ten to fifteen million, barrels, Day

(57:35):
right so what you want me to believe is that
you nuked effectively one point five billion barrels of oil
and the price expectation has moved.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
Thirteen, dollars yeah. That's, insane no.

Speaker 16 (57:48):
It's nuts so so front month might. BE correct i
don't think. It is BUT what i know is back
month is not or the curve is. All, wrong okay why?

Speaker 2 (57:59):
Is?

Speaker 14 (58:00):
That?

Speaker 16 (58:00):
So people doyle traders are THE smart i agree all
of those things. Are true here's what people need. To
understand they're. Not trading they're. Not trading you go look
at the futures markets, right now as far as oil,
is concerned it looks like. A crackhouse need. Vac, it
yeah there's, no volume there's. No size they've pushed up.
Margin requirements and this is what this when profession and,

(58:21):
here's why because professional traders are trading On what they're trading,
on news, they're hearing they're trading, on fundamentals they're trading on. All,
this well when there's this thing out, there again a
sort of damocles hanging over, the market Then whenever trump feels,
the gusto he goes.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
In there and makes.

Speaker 16 (58:38):
Another comment and regardless of how the talks, are going
regardless of the, underlying fundamentals it's just going to pound the.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Futures.

Speaker 16 (58:45):
Market, right well the futures run on massive levels. Of
leverage so if you go in there with, twenty Bucks
and i'll use this as, an analogy twenty bucks is
effectively your nut that you put down and they'll let
you trade on. One hundred so when the price moves twenty,
against you you're not down, twenty percent you're down one.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
Hundred, percent, Yep right and so. That's why so that's
why they've said we're.

Speaker 16 (59:11):
Out right you don't even see big futures bets on
the short. Side either the only time you see futures
bets on the short side is fifteen Minutes before trump's
going to make. An, announcement yeah so they're not playing,
either side they're. Just gone so WHAT do i think?
That MEANS what i think that means is the minute
you actually get a deal announced and this, is over

(59:34):
that's when this, really BEGINS and i think the money
floods back into the, futures markets and that's when we're
going to find out how high the price of. Oil
goes so everybody is, still, thinking oh look, at oil
it's high because of. The, irant no oil's low, right
now and ironically it's low because of, the conflict or
rather it's low because of the conflict quote unquote ending.

(59:58):
Anytime soon and those guys, you're, like oh professional traders
can't take. A whack when you see oil getting whacked
for eight to ten percent in, a session futures traders
are losing forty to fifty and. Sixty percent you can
only take a couple of. Those hits and then, you,
go HEY if i have another day or two like
this ON my P, And l i'm gonna be looking for. A. Job,

(01:00:18):
Yep right and so, you, Go hey i'll live to play,
Another day wait till this. Is over then we'll jump in.
The market, so, NO again i can't tell you what
the real. Price IS what i.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
Can tell you is this is. Not, it, yeah yeah
Talking To Zach, Abramchiefsment Officer board capital the, market, itself
right let's take the energy prices out. Of it we
got craziness in the market because YOU and i were
talking about, you know Was. It micron, We're like micron still,
exists running. You know AN analyst a guy writes a, note,
says hey they're going to buy a lot of, THESE

(01:00:50):
chips i think in the next year and, A, half
like oh, my god quick buy As much micron. As possible. It's,
insane yeah what has had none? Of it it makes any.

Speaker 16 (01:01:00):
Sense Whatsoever, it's look you're officially in the bubble stage of.
This MOVE and i haven't said that, for years because
there have been several, moments along, you know the last
fifteen year, run up where markets have gotten frothy and
things that kind of crazy. And stuff so what changes
to ME when i see moves like this? In SECTORS

(01:01:21):
when i see the semiconductor sector up five and seven
percent in a session with, No NEWS when i Watch
a micron get over a trillion dollar, Market cap, and,
Remember guys micron is Not. In vidia they didn't make
a new chip that. Everybody wants but these data centers
have to. Have memory and because of the. Unprecedented, demand

(01:01:41):
remember an industry. Is built, every industry we talk about.
Production cycles all of these things are built on. Expected,
demand okay anytime something happens to that, expected demand it's.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Going to have an impact on those.

Speaker 16 (01:01:57):
Production cycles and what you've got right now is you've
got production cycles for memory that were incredibly cyclical because,
you know, for instance, you know think of a new batch,
of computer the next model of computers coming, out right
the companies aren't releasing the new generation of their laptop every,

(01:02:18):
three months so meaning the demand for THINGS like ram and,
you know all the Stuff that micron, makes memory.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
All that that stuff is.

Speaker 16 (01:02:28):
Very cyclical then something like this happens that comes in
and lights a fire.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Under demand and.

Speaker 16 (01:02:34):
Remember this one is so much easier to call even
than the semiconductors because if you Look at nvidia is
in video frothee oh, my, gosh yes but when you
look at what nobody can make What in, vidia, Makes
right so that's what has always stopped me, from, saying,
DUDE look i don't. OWN it i, have before but
we don't own it and don't have any plans on

(01:02:55):
it unless it got a, lot cheaper JUST because i
think there are more attractive things. Out there but you're
not gonna hear me sounding the alarm.

Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
On, nvidio, now well.

Speaker 16 (01:03:03):
Their margins, of course they're not going to maintain sixty five.
Percent margins that's their margins are where they're at for
the same reason that. Microns, Are Okay but when you
flip over to COMPANIES like Amd, and micron that's when
it's a different ballgame because they're not making, Anything unique
meaning there's companies all over the world that can make
what these. Guys make the only reason they're going up

(01:03:24):
is because the short term demand outlook for this stuff
is off. The, charts now what we know is the
short term demand outlook by definition.

Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
Can't be the long. Term outlook why.

Speaker 16 (01:03:36):
Because the companies can't keep affording to spend at. This,
Pace right so how much runway do?

Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
THEY have i. Don't know maybe it's, eight months maybe.

Speaker 16 (01:03:44):
It's twenty but my point is the people that are
bidding up memory. RIGHT here, i mean it's just the ultimate, bubble, Game,
right like that's this is what you see.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
In bubbles what else do?

Speaker 16 (01:03:55):
You see and, AND look i think it's important to
go back and compare it to other Frothy period it's
like twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Twenty one remember back half of twenty twenty one was, nuts, Too,
right okay what did we not?

Speaker 16 (01:04:05):
See that first, of all you saw an earnings inflection
year over year that was. Just insane now people would
say there's a big earnings inflection. This, Year, Yeah, no
no it's it's, it's big but it's very isolated in
one industry and it's all bent on just a few.

Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
Companies, spent okay so it's.

Speaker 16 (01:04:21):
Very vulnerable second, of all another thing you didn't see
at twenty twenty one were these.

Speaker 2 (01:04:27):
Insane, IPOs now why are?

Speaker 16 (01:04:29):
IPOs important IPOs are IMPORTANT because a it adds froth to,
a MARKET but b it adds, more, paper right meaning
remember markets only, go up only continue going up when
more and more money.

Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
Is chasing less and.

Speaker 16 (01:04:45):
Less things so what Eventually Happens wall street as, is
saying when the ducks are squat and quack and.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Feed, Them, right so when.

Speaker 16 (01:04:51):
Everybody's hot everybody in their mother right now is racing
to get their. IPOs, in okay. The rape why do
you think they're racing to get?

Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
Their eyes it's all gonna be fighting. Over dollars.

Speaker 16 (01:05:02):
Yeah right they're not racing to get their IPOs in
because they think prices.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
Make sense they're racing to get their IPOs in because
they know.

Speaker 16 (01:05:10):
They, don't, Yeah right SO when i see COMPANIES like
SpaceX that have been around, thirty years SpaceX is a
thirty year.

Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
Old, company okay thirty.

Speaker 16 (01:05:18):
Years in they're doing eighteen billion in revenue and they're
GOING to ipo for.

Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Two trillion THAT'S what i want to talk to. You
about have you? Read it it's got pictures, In it
it's got stuff in it that is just Makes knows
and by, the way he, Controls everything elon. Controls everything
have you seen how small the float's going? To, Be
Yes but, i'm like this thing has like five pages. Of,
pictures yeah here's a review when you're going to buy. A,

(01:05:45):
rocketship yeah. This is we were doing our town hall with,
our clients and EVERY quarter i, do it, you know
because when we first started, the firm every client. WAS
mine i talked to him. Every quarter.

Speaker 16 (01:05:55):
You know now we manage over a billion dollars and
most of the. Clients aren't well they're all, my CLIENTS
but i never talk to most.

Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
Of, Them yeah so. We were and the number one question,
is like WHAT.

Speaker 16 (01:06:05):
About SpaceX we get INVOLVED in SpaceX SPACEXPACE and, i, go,
guys guys, eighteen million eighteen billion, in revenue two trillion dollar.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Market cap Here's what i'll.

Speaker 16 (01:06:14):
Tell you if you REALLY, want SpaceX open The scott
trade account or open Up Not scott trade don't think.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
Exist anymore that like a robinhood or one of the. Robin,
hood yeah go go buy it on. Your own but
here's the.

Speaker 16 (01:06:24):
Other thing if you REALLY, WANT SpaceX i guarantee you
we'll get a chance to buy it at a discount
to whatever price it trades at in the.

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
First month it's just not gonna hold. That, Price people
what do.

Speaker 16 (01:06:32):
You, mean, yeah well a let's compare It, To, tesla
zach You said tesla.

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
WAS overrated i did. Many times go pull up a Chart.
On tesla if you.

Speaker 16 (01:06:39):
Were Patient, on tesla you always had a chance to
buy it at a significant discount to whatever crazy price.

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
It hit at.

Speaker 16 (01:06:45):
Some, Point right bitcoin's giving you those same opportunities to
go back and look to.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
The charts so My whole, BUT look I Think elon
musk is the edison of. Our times.

Speaker 16 (01:06:55):
Brilliant GUY when I, see, Cerberus right cerberus is coming
back down to. Earth here but you, know what first day,
of trading five hundred million, in REVENUE the ipo at,
fifty billion and then go straight to.

Speaker 2 (01:07:04):
One hundred.

Speaker 16 (01:07:06):
All of, these things like you're, just checking all multiples.
Are expanding go look at a Company like apple, right now,
Going up apples making. New, Highs kay apple's totally dependent on.
Consumer spending here's here's what you. Can book the consumer
is getting rocked in the back half of. This year gay,
just Rocked, AND chad i don't. Really know the people, are,

(01:07:29):
like Oh that's. Zach's PREDICTION notice i didn't say the
stock market's going. To, CRASH okay i don't KNOW because
i have never seen a market trade this far away,
From REALITY so i don't want to make any prognostications
on that kind.

Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
Of, thing okay but what do.

Speaker 16 (01:07:43):
We know what we know is oil should be, considerably
HIGHER and i don't care what.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
Anybody says that's, A.

Speaker 16 (01:07:50):
Fact okay and what we also know is the consumers
about ready to get pinched.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Big, time yeah because the consumer has not felt the
knock on domino effect of the more cost to, produce
it more costs to get it, to you more cost
to all of. The things we have not felt. That
yet it hasn't even. Started, yet no it hasn't even.

Speaker 16 (01:08:11):
Started yet, so listen it doesn't matter how you think
this Issue in iran. Resolves itself none of this other.
Stuff Matters what i'm telling you that is going.

Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
To. Happen, yeah NOW like, i.

Speaker 16 (01:08:23):
Said notice i'm not making market prognostications right, like NOW
do i think this will be good?

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
For, markets no because here's the thing that markets always pay,
attention to and for.

Speaker 16 (01:08:33):
Good Reason rates right now they can they can jab
oone rates down TO which i think they've.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
BEEN doing i think they've been.

Speaker 16 (01:08:41):
TRYING to i think that their job owning has been
as equally pointed at rates as it's been. At oil
but when you get the kind of impulse that's coming
our way, RIGHT now i don't think there's any way
you hold.

Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
Rates Down, Zach abraham Chief, Investment Officer. Bullwer capital people

Speaker 16 (01:11:12):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
Were they he Was, in florida he picked up a
couple black racers and he's been picking. Up snakes is he?
Doing it first, of all we know he likes to pick. Up,
animals secondly it's. He's. Fine now if it was a,

(01:11:33):
venomous snake he would have probably been in some. Serious
trouble but it was a non. Venomous snake SO and
i have picked up many of those in, my life
both venomous and. Non VENOMOUS and i will tell You
what i'd rather rebit than must on because he got
looks like he got must on where they. Spray him
but he's gonna. Be okay, but yeah you know what

(01:11:56):
you with, the animals stop it, All right that's all.
We're saying Health And Human Secretary kennedy junior, three, two,

our number three is coming. Straight up if you're missing,
the show make sure you grab. The podcast this Is
The Chad. Benson show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
This Is The Chad, Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
The Chad. Benson show are we getting closer to a Deal?
With iran and what's that gonna? Cost us what's that Gonna?
Cost trump let's be honest for a moment if we
can without hurting, people's feelings because a lot of people

(01:13:51):
get all buttered.

Speaker 17 (01:13:52):
And, they're like, Oh god trump is the greatest.

Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
Story because obama's the worst and blah blah. Blah blah
ego is gonna play a lot of role. In this first,
of all we shouldn't. Be THERE do i blame this
one hundred Percent? On trump you're, the man so it's.
On you BUT do i think you were sold a
bill of Goods? By israel one? Hundred PERCENT do i
think you didn't listen to the people around you because they, Were,

(01:14:19):
saying yeah this isn't going to go the way you
think it's. Gonna go hund percent. Hund percent now here's
the issue that isn't being Talked. About israel israel's ramping
up Airstrikes, In leven israel's telling people to get out
of a certain area. Right now they, are not in,

(01:14:45):
any way shape or form ready to give up if,
you will this whatever the hell it's supposed. To be
when it Comes, to iran they think in, some way shape,
or form either we're going to destroy it so bad
it's going To become Libya, or syria or they're going

(01:15:07):
to have some sort of puppet. In place and none
of those things are going. To happen and we can't
be in. There anymore it's time for us. To leave
and you saw the, you know, the neocons the warhawks
out there, GOING well i don't think this is a
good Deal. For Israel ben, govere right who maybe the

(01:15:29):
most powerful Person, in israel even maybe in times Inside,
of israel more powerful Than then yahoo, saying yeah we're
not taking a. Bad deal this is a, bad deal
this isn't good, for humans is a. Bad deal we're
not doing this thing. At All so trump has got
a lot of issues that he's got to contend with
as FAR as us getting close to some sort.

Speaker 8 (01:15:52):
Of deal despite all, the optimism the mood music that
we're hearing From, the President from Secretary Of state rubio
is as new settlements are on. These issues and having
said over the weekend that a deal looks like it's
going to be agreed in the coming twenty four hours,
or days we're now looking at a number of days

(01:16:14):
without any obvious sign of. An agreement.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
And when you go through what they're going back and,
forth about so much of it is, you know when
we talk about, the, contracts right everybody's got there must
haves and they're hopeful like this is an absolute. Must

(01:16:41):
have i'm not doing IT unless i. Get THIS if
i get some of this, other, stuff GREAT but i
got to. Have, this Well, for trump the must haves first,
and foremost he's got to look like you want whatever that.
Deal is no, Nukes whatsoever no, Nukes, Whatsoever okay and

(01:17:10):
you've got to turn over the straits Of horror moores to.
Everybody again there Must Have, Tehran iran but we are
gonna keep our uranium, for now and we will go
and Maybe, allow china maybe allow you to, come in

(01:17:34):
Maybe allow russia to help us. Downgrade it if indeed we,
decide to but we're not giving. Up everything and as
far as the, straits go. That's ours so we're going
to be now running a portion.

Speaker 9 (01:17:52):
Of it.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
And that's the battle that's. Going on so what's going
to get us across The line probably the, SIXTY day i,
would say the sixty day, you know pause order of
memorandum that they're going to send out will probably get

(01:18:17):
us across the line short term while they, Negotiate everything but,
long term it's not going to fix the serious issue
that's going, on there Which is iran isn't a fan of.
Everybody else they are a pain in everybody's ass and
at the same time everybody hates them and so they

(01:18:42):
would love to get rid. Of them so it's it's.
Not fixing no matter, what happens it's not going to
fix the hot mess that's going on. OVER there i
read a great article today On why iran's leaders think
that they've won. The war they haven't won, the, War

(01:19:04):
right they've won more than they probably thought they were
gonna get because some of them are. Still alive they're still,
in POWER the irgc and the, hard liners and it
looks like there's gonna be enough capitulation that's going to
get them a ton of money. And whatnot but they haven't,
won anything because at the end of, the day even if, we,
said hey, we're leaving we're done, with this here's, some

(01:19:27):
money here's the access to, Your crap, we're done we're
washing our hands, with this it still doesn't change the
fact that they're hated there because they're pain in. Everybody's
Ass and i'm not talking about the average person. Over
there i'm talking about the, leaders there and it doesn't

(01:19:50):
change the, fact, that yes there are serious issues Still
with israel. In them SO do i think this is
going to end and? Anytime, SOON no i think we're
gonna see this thing drag on and off and on
and off and at any, given TIME and i hope it's.
Not true it could pop off in, a SECOND and

(01:20:12):
i hope it's. Not true and we are starting to feel.
The ramifications we Talked to zach gabramchivsment Officer from bulwark
last hour of what is coming slowly, but surely and
as he, pointed out there's nobody trading in the, oil
markets so for it to drop down a, little bit people.
Get excited. That's temporary we don't know how bad it

(01:20:35):
is until we're able to get inside and see how bad,
it is and we can't, right now. We can't we
don't know how long it's gonna take to ramp everything.
Up again and we're now starting to feel the rampifications
of grocery store prices. Going higher we're now starting to
feel the ramifications of just the cost of energy prices

(01:20:59):
starting to go up that have nothing to do with
the quote unquote gas prices that we see. Every day
all of those things are going to start to hit
and then what that's? The question how long does? It
last and could this thing flare up like, that again
like THE way i snap my finger? Right there we'll sleep, three, two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four Twenty Three At Chad benson Show

(01:21:20):
Jure X. Your insta, Last night john cord it out
not a SHOCKER out i. WAS watching i think It
Was frank luntz earlier today talk about the Fact That
john cornyn has been there so Long in texas that
it was blue when he first was getting. Into politics
that's how long he's. Been there last night he Lost To,

(01:21:45):
ken paxton which was not. A shocker now the money
is going to have to start to. Pour in So The,
Cook report So The Cook, political report one of the
biggest reports, out there has shifted its rating from the

(01:22:06):
red side to the. Blue side it went From likely
republican To lean republican to Now. Lean's democrat.

Speaker 11 (01:22:20):
Is?

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
That possible, of course. It's possible just talking about, the
economy how about this little something else? Right here, for
Y'all most americans aren't. Having fun they can't afford to.
Have fun cost is the single biggest obstacle when it
comes to being able to. Have fun twelve Percent of
americans say they can't recall the last time they had

(01:22:41):
a full free day to enjoy themselves and some money.
To spend fifty Percent of americans say their lives are
currently lacking. In fun that's not a good place. To
be why life's more expensive and it's about to, get,
Uglier potentially god willing. IT doesn't i don't want. IT
to I want trump to come out and say we got.
A deal it's the greatest deal of. All time they're

(01:23:03):
going to be best FRIENDS, with us, et cetera, et cetera.
Et CETERA but i don't live in a world OF
that i live in a world, of reality and, reality,
SAYS yeah i don't think they're giving, up ANYTHING and
i think they're going to try to drag this on
for as long as they, possibly can making it a
fiscal calamity potentially, for everybody as well as a humanitarian
issue if indeed it goes on long enough when it

(01:23:26):
comes to crops and whatnot and the potential for famine.
And hunger, so yeah this is, potentially ugly not just
for us. But globally but when you go when you
look at this and you say people aren't, having fun yeah.
They're not, they're frustrated. They're angry i've heard from more

(01:23:52):
PEOPLE saying i don't know WHAT else i Can DO
if i make ten, percent more it feels like that
prices go up and life goes up by, Twelve Percent
so i'm down on the whole. Two. Percent yeah so
That's What, ken paxton along with, his baggage has to

(01:24:14):
deal with in. This race and people are going, to look,
You know trump's nine. For nine we've talked about it winning,
a primary especially in a very State like TEXAS as
maga in a lot, of places and you're Only having
republicans come out and vote is not a. General election

(01:24:35):
that's a. Different story and it will be interesting to
see how much money he's going to be able to
raise on, his own because that's the. Other thing corny
had about twenty million dollars, On hand packs had like five.
Point nine he'd kind of spent. Himself out he was
pulling away at, the End and trump got him over the.
Finish line but this is going to, be expensive and they.

(01:24:59):
Recognize that, three, two, three five, three eight twenty four

we're just gonna have a little fun With White. Woman
wednesday we don't even have the music, for that cause
my machine. Blew Up for, God's sakes kylie take.

Speaker 5 (01:26:44):
IT away i don't know who needs to, hear this
but the gym is an alt right pipeline, Into. You
Jenny and i'm starting to get concerned the way that
a lot of men over the last five six years have,
gotten really really into fitness in, gym culture which at
its Core in america is rooted in white supremacy because
it wants every single person to look like the perfect
SPUs and a lot of men take this to an.
Insane degree, and again there is nothing wrong with winding skin,

(01:27:05):
and shape or you want to take care of, your
body you want to eat a, different way that, is totally.
Totally fine the way that a lot of men will
fixate on certain things or like those professional like. Looks
maxers they'll, be, like well you need to fix this
specific thing. ABOUT yourself i would give you with this
score out of ten us to try to purify, a
race to try to make sure that people look a,
certain ways that they're held to a, certain standard which
is giving Very Like arian. Prince STYLE and i do

(01:27:27):
believe it's healthy for people in any society to. Look
different there shouldn't be a single standard that every single
person has to be held to because look what's happening to.
White women white women are literally starving themselves and they
would rather than, be fat which is not. Healthy either
being videos leads to weightlifting videos leads to history of the,
white race leads, to eugenics and like the perfect specimen in.
Perfect body just, be. Careful y'all it's really making. ME

(01:27:47):
sad i thought.

Speaker 2 (01:27:48):
Your, passes wait how do we Get to now there's
a bunch of wackadoos, out there The. Looks maxers you
know who, they, are right what was that clovicular? Or
whatever but, come on gym culture is. Right propaganda now
if you think It's only, jim culture how about This One.

Speaker 5 (01:28:05):
Jim, jones ever white people say they don't trust anti
racist activists that.

Speaker 11 (01:28:09):
ARE white i Think Of. Jim jones you.

Speaker 5 (01:28:10):
Don't Know jim jones was At The people's temple and
he started out preaching about racial reunity, and equality and
he very much.

Speaker 11 (01:28:16):
Targeted people who were. Experiencing segregation in.

Speaker 5 (01:28:18):
The seventies one of his big hubs Was In, san
francisco and then he moved everyone Out to guyana to
live on. This compound he's the one that encouraged his
followers drink the, kool aid who then.

Speaker 11 (01:28:26):
Passed away and. Committed suicide it was like nine.

Speaker 5 (01:28:28):
Hundred victim what a lot of people don't know is
that seventy five percent of his victims. Were black does
that mean that black people are inherently susceptible to this type. Of,
propaganda no what it means is that in an era,
of unrest people decided to trust this man who was
preaching anti, racist policies and it literally led to.

Speaker 11 (01:28:44):
Their, deaths, because yes while this.

Speaker 5 (01:28:45):
Cult later was insane and preached, racial equality at the core,
of it what he wanted was every single person that
followed him to follow him out of this life.

Speaker 11 (01:28:53):
As well and.

Speaker 5 (01:28:54):
So what started out as this idea of like racial
unity quickly turned into a mass suicide and actually one
of the most tragical That's in.

Speaker 11 (01:29:00):
American history and.

Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
You heard it, here first but you didn't really because
we've talked about it. Before Radio The Chad Betson Joe,
jim jones if you guys, don't know, was nuts was
also in a lot of trouble and was also full
of crap and. A scumback and most of those people
didn't drink the. Kool aid they were shot murder. Really,

(01:29:23):
yep meanwhile we moved, from there touched on it briefly.
LAST hour us men's national team has been announced For The.
World cup i'm excited. About it we're going to get
deeper in. IT tomorrow a few a, few surprises but

(01:29:44):
for the, most part this is what we got AND
we i think have a.

Speaker 15 (01:29:48):
Decent, team guys if you're watching that video is because
you ARE in i am so excited to communicate that
you are going to be in the roster For The
world cup twenty. Twenty six In The world cup that
we are wanting to Us.

Speaker 11 (01:30:02):
And joey ye.

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
So they got. A video there were a. Few surprises that's,
gonna happen not just when it comes to. Our team
across the Board Every. World cup there are. Several Surprises,
in england they Left off harry McGuire and a few
other people that look to be shoe ins For the.

(01:30:26):
England team but for the, most part. Pretty good midfield
looks a little iffy right in, the CENTER but i
think this is Look potch fields and that's. Our coach
pochettino feels that this is the team that's gonna take.
Us places you get the home crowd. Behind it you get.
People excited you never know what might happen if. You

(01:30:48):
missed you The show Sham when you've got The Podcast,
Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Public, Policy Research, Straight Ahead Chad, Benson,
Show Son Chad, Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:31:19):
The Chad.

Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
Benson Show, All right it is a special Edition Of
Midterm mondays as we go Over the texas primary runoff
last Night About, Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Pulk policy research joins.
The Program jim. Paxton won not. A shocker Here's what,
paxton brings not a lot of money and a whole lot. Of, Baggage, jim,

(01:31:41):
yeah no you're.

Speaker 12 (01:31:42):
Exactly right this is the preferred matchup For. The democrats
this is what. They wanted they didn't want to Run Against.
John cornyon they wanted to run Tallerco, against paxson and
they got. Their, wish so, you, know yeah this is
be careful what you wish for because you may actually.
Get it and we're gonna see now because we're gonna have,
you know we're still gonna have five months plus to.
The general but, You Know ken paxson, Has baggage he's

(01:32:03):
got a. Former impeachment he's, got.

Speaker 9 (01:32:05):
Skeletons and he's also got.

Speaker 12 (01:32:08):
The ability that unfortunately to put his foot in his
mouth at, times too that can come up at any
point in. This race he's run statewide before AS, the
aag but he'll have a lot more media pressure on
him than he did before when we ran for. A
G tella, rico though, you know never been elected on
this on A statewide texas office, to anything so he's

(01:32:29):
going to be, you know it'll be his first time
in the major spotlight For a, senate seat so he's
got that, ability too so it'll.

Speaker 9 (01:32:35):
Be interesting the problem again though For the republicans that
this is going, to create and we've kind of mentioned
it once, or.

Speaker 12 (01:32:40):
Twice Is that cornin probably would be a fifty to
one hundred million dollars. Cheaper matchup he would have easily
he would probably Easy Beat tella rico by. Ten Points,
with paxson he's still probably going, to win but it's
going to Cost the republicans a, lot more and it'll
cost him even more if if something else comes out On,
on packson If there's apple research out there that has

(01:33:01):
not been, revealed yet frought By, the democrats or another scandal,
breaks out or he puts his foot in his mouth
and says something dumb that, you, know again you're looking
like another fifty one hundred million dollars For. The republicans
and again they've only got so. Much money they're going
to have more Than, the democrats but they've only got so.
Much Nationwide and i'm sure they'd like to throw some
Money in michigan if the if The favorite democrat. There

(01:33:24):
wins they're gonna have to throw more Money at mained
than they expected to because Of because platner's got a
lot more traction. They expected they're not even sure he was.
Gonna win he is gonna, win now so that's gonna
cost some. More money they'd like to have thrown some
Money At new hampshire to pick. That up, so yeah
this is gonna be what Exactly what. Trump wanted but
in the end it may not necessarily be the best

(01:33:46):
thing For the republicans if they want to Control the
senate or Increase their.

Speaker 9 (01:33:50):
Senate majority, you.

Speaker 2 (01:33:51):
Know when we talk about the quote, UNQUOTE baggage i
want everybody to listen to a little bit of the
baggage that Comes with paxton because there's probably more. Out
there but when you go and look at, the scandals
because let's talk about some of. Those scandals first, of
all his wife's divorced him because of. Biblical grounds uh what?
Was that you had the securities fraud in twenty fifteen

(01:34:14):
that he paid a ton OF money i think to make.
Go away eventually he pled, not guilty but had to, cover, restitution,
ethics training. Community service then you had the whistleblower and
bribery allegations in twenty twenty that. Came out finally got
impeached in twenty twenty three By, the republicans by, the

(01:34:36):
way but he got. By there and then of course
he had the. Biblical issue and when you're a person
who goes out and talks about, You know god the
way he does and push that. Out there, you know
we were, WATCHING tonight i was joking. With you, You know
cornin is surrounded by a whole bunch of people and
packson's on stage. By himself there's a reason for THAT

(01:34:58):
because i know your wife, left, you who by, the
way is also a powerful. State.

Speaker 9 (01:35:05):
Senator, yeah no it's again he comes.

Speaker 12 (01:35:08):
With baggage he's you, know again this is gonna be
a much more, difficult run difficult race For the republicans
than it would have been if it Had. Been corning
but he checks all the maga Boxes For President, donald
Trump And President donald trump wanted him, to Win and
texas has still got enough maga people in it That
are republicans that voted for him by about a ten
point margin when all. Settles OUT so i was looking

(01:35:30):
at the prediction markets, last night take or the. Night
before take them with a grain assault for whatever you want.
With them but it was like ninety three Percent for
paxton on, YOU know i was looking. At it so
it was almost a foregone conclusion that he was gonna
win based upon. Those things, but again be careful what you,
ask For because republicans are not gonna have to throw

(01:35:51):
more money at. THIS race i don't think THE tell
I Mean tellary cook. Can win AND that's, i mean
that would not be impossible for that. To happen and if,
THAT happens i would not be, YOU know i wouldn't
fall over in a, you know in a faint because
from surprise If tall rico managed to pull, it out
especially with whatever, can happen because you know that.

Speaker 9 (01:36:09):
Whatever the dems have DONE for upo Research.

Speaker 12 (01:36:11):
On paxton they haven't turned that out in the PRIMARY
because a they didn't, want him they Didn't want paxson,
to LOSE And b white waste it now save it
For an october Surprise For. Tall rico, so yeah it'll
be interesting and there'll probably be some stuff that will.

Speaker 9 (01:36:25):
BE released i don't know that, there's any but.

Speaker 12 (01:36:28):
There's quite possibly that If the dems have done a
good job, on it there's possibly something out there.

Speaker 9 (01:36:33):
That they can find or again he can make a
mistake or something else.

Speaker 12 (01:36:35):
CAN happen, i mean if this, War continues we've talked
about if this, thing continues in, my Opinion Passed, labor
day it's going to be it's going to cast a
pall On all republicans as far as. They're races and
if there is a, you know one of these quote
unquote mythical blue waves, That Appear tall rico could be
a guy that sweeps in office And sweeps.

Speaker 2 (01:36:52):
Packson out absolutely Talking To. Jim kennedy kennedy instead of plug, Policy,
research jim there was this, week redistricting there was some,
you know there's it's weird because some of these lawsuits
that have come down that we're hearing our lawsuits, that happened,
you know a couple of. Years ago then they, were
adjudicated but then all of a sudden they were brought,

(01:37:14):
up again and then they're, back here, and then, You
know i'm so confused about where some of these. States
stand and some, of them by, The Way south, carolina,
said nah we're not going. To redistrict we're going to
leave it at as, it is because that's not what. We're,
About Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:37:29):
South carolina was a very interesting one.

Speaker 12 (01:37:31):
That broke that Broke, on tuesday And The South carolina
senate did not approve the. Redistricting effort the governor had
called the, special session said come on back, In everybody House.
And Senate the, house, said sure, no problem we'll approve,
the redistricting reprove the. New maps and one of the
one of the caveats that was going to Draw Away jim,
cleiburn's seat who'd Been in congress for about thirty four,

(01:37:52):
years now he's running for reelection again at age, eighty
five and he would have lost his opportunity because this
seat would have been. Drawn away But The South carolina
Senate twelve Republicans on tuesday.

Speaker 9 (01:38:03):
Vote With the democrats, said nope this isn't the way
we do Things In.

Speaker 12 (01:38:06):
South CAROLINA, so i, YOU know i would give them
a round of applause for. DOING that i don't like jerrymandering,
either way whenever, it's done whether it's Done in California
Or south Carolina or Florida or Texas or Alabama, or
virginia it's just not the right thing. To do you
need to win on, your arguments not on because certain
people can't vote because you're are because there aren't enough
people in that district to. Elect somebody, so yeah so

(01:38:29):
that worked out well as far As the. Alabama, won
yeah that one's Been the republican.

Speaker 9 (01:38:34):
The guy give.

Speaker 12 (01:38:34):
Them credit they've been trying this for. A while so
after the twenty, twenty census the new maps got drawn
based upon the, population changes and there were Two black
democratic Districts, In alabama so in twenty twenty Three were Republicans.
In alabama We, run, alabama obviously and they have both
The upper house in The lower house and The State
supreme court and the governor's Mansion in alabama because it

(01:38:56):
is one of the more red it's one of the
red est states in. The country in twenty, twenty three,
they decided you, know what we're going to implement, new
maps and we're going to drop one of the two
Black districts democrat districts and only Have one democrat district in. The,
state well that court That the democrats of court, filed
suit and it went to a federal district Court in
birmingham who, basically, said no you can't, do that and

(01:39:18):
that case.

Speaker 9 (01:39:19):
Went on they.

Speaker 12 (01:39:19):
Appealed and went on for a while and went on
to like towards the end of, twenty four early. Twenty,
five now this couple weeks ago WHEN The Us Supreme
court scotis said that, you know that isn't necessarily. A
problem not that that case specifically Adjudicated, By scotus it
Was a louisiana case that they saw some light that
they could retry their. Maps again so the, governor, said sure.
Go Ahead, the House the house in the Upper lower

(01:39:42):
house voted. For it even The State supreme Court in alabama,
said nope the maps, are good go ahead and. Do
it but Again the democrats filed suit Again. In birmingham
don't know if they got the same judge and today
the court ruled, that no you can't do that and
quote unquote tainted by intentional race. Based discrimination we have
decided that you will not be able to implement your.

(01:40:02):
New maps you will need to go back to your
old maps that we know that we told you three
years ago that you had.

Speaker 11 (01:40:08):
To.

Speaker 12 (01:40:08):
Keep now i'm Sure the alabama government will appeal that
TO The Us appeals court and that will be, you
know and then that will be an. Ongoing case we'll
cover on jury mandering. This week but, Right now alabama
has moved ITS primaries, i believe Back to august because
they were hoping to implement the new maps over the
last couple, of weeks just like as we saw it Happen,
in louisiana they'd moved theirs back other Than the senate Race,

(01:40:31):
to August And south carolina pending thinking that they were
going to have these new, maps implemented had moved theirs,
Back also so you've got three states that have moved
their elections Back That south carolina they will have, Old
maps alabama they may have, new maps they may not have,
new Maps and louisiana will probably have new maps unless

(01:40:51):
somehow that case gets appealed.

Speaker 9 (01:40:53):
Again back to the.

Speaker 12 (01:40:54):
Court system, so yes that is where we Are for,
jurry mannering and nothing has Changed in virginia that that
one is still a settled case with the with the
election they had being overturned and not. Being certified and
for right Now the georgia maps will be back to
the ones that were six' Five for the democrat versus
The ten ones democrat majority that they had.

Speaker 9 (01:41:16):
Tried to Implement.

Speaker 2 (01:41:17):
Talking, To jim kennedy kennedy Answer To The public policy
research last questions The, little midterm monday but it's. A
wrap up we're doing It on a wednesday because Obviously Day,
off memorial day and then of course we had the
the primaries and runoffs and whatnot yesterday a week. Well
Six Days the los angelinos will be going to, the

(01:41:39):
you know ballot somewhat, if you will because most of everybody's.
Mailed everything in but the reality of what may Be happening,
IN la now i don't know if he is going
to make it. In The Runoff, Old spencer, PRATT i'm
assuming i mean into the on The. Ballot for november
i'm assuming He's going to but there is a sense

(01:42:01):
even with some of, his faux paus that there. Is
movement there watching the amount of people on the left
that are giving, money to him who Are Just over
southern california. Being a cesspool is it's actually. Kind. OF
refreshing yeah i think it's kind of.

Speaker 12 (01:42:21):
An, INTERESTING point again i don't necessarily say it's, a
TIPPING point but i think it's where if you don't
do Something To fix los angeles, at this point meaning
get rid of democratic liberal Progressive Leadership like karen bass
or the other.

Speaker 9 (01:42:36):
Person That's, running nthea RAHMAN.

Speaker 12 (01:42:38):
Who was, dsa a line though evidently she's NOT, endorsed
by dsa has been on the city council. Since twenty
twenty you may know she may be known to the
listeners because she was the famous city council person who
said when there was A rash of keller to converter
thefts that the problems were The fact that toyota made
the cars too easy to allow you, to steal them

(01:42:59):
and the criminals were just poor people that had been beaten,
down by racism and we're just doing everything they could
to survive by stealing.

Speaker 9 (01:43:07):
The catalytic converters at no time.

Speaker 12 (01:43:09):
Faulted the criminals further action she's taken also a similar
action with the. Street lights problem we've had a large
street light problem in The City of los angeles where
they are stealing the copper out of the street lights
that go from the transformers up. To the, lights and
again you know it has been a problem where well
it's the criminals that are the, victims of it and
they shouldn't, really be there just trying to make ends

(01:43:31):
meet And Very.

Speaker 9 (01:43:32):
Expensive los angeles so.

Speaker 12 (01:43:33):
It'll be interesting it isn't something isn't done. In this
election it's and it's. BUSINESS as usual i don't know
where you Go to. GET la back i don't know
how much farther it can fall before. It becomes, unrecoverable
to me it's like an election cycle Away from, where
California is and california has its own choices that make
for governor when it Comes up.

Speaker 9 (01:43:54):
On june, second but yeah this is going to be very.

Speaker 12 (01:43:56):
JUSTICE to Watch i think pratt will make it, in
the runoff but it's going to be a very very
tough battle for Him.

Speaker 9 (01:44:02):
To, beat bass again you're looking.

Speaker 12 (01:44:04):
At about a four to one d over r a
breakdown by the registered voters in The City. Of los
angeles she just Got Endorsed, by Samuel JACKSON. By samuel
l jackson. The other day she's been, endorsed by many MANY.
Celebrities in la she's been, Endorsed by union she's been endorsed.
By political leaders and you know she's, not you know

(01:44:26):
she's able to, raise the money she's got the, machine
behind her, and you know, for some reason it's just
more of, the same here and there are enough people that.
Are fed up there's people Again in the palisades that.
Are fed up The People in outa dina don't get
the vote in the City election because altadena is technically,
in the county not The City. Of los, ANGELES so yeah,
i think again if something isn't done about, it THIS

(01:44:49):
time then I don't really, you kind of, in my
opinion you just basically throw the keys in it and and
walk away from it and, just whatever happens you just
wash your. Hands of it, and, it's like like This is,
a democrat problem and do what you made a lot
of people are going. To start leaving people have, already
been leaving but more. We'll start leaving the entertainment business.
Has been Leaving It leaving los angeles when. That starts
leaving even though a lot of them, obviously vote liberal but,

(01:45:12):
they'll vote liberal but they don't necessarily want To Live
in los angeles then. Vote liberal anymore so it'd be
interesting they're taking their liberal, vote somewhere else and the
business is also.

Speaker 9 (01:45:21):
Going somewhere else.

Speaker 12 (01:45:22):
George is a big site, for it now and of
course at other places have. BEEN collecting it i Think
we've even national picking up some of the entertainment business.
Too down there the movie is not. In this way
the music business they already have. That down there, so
but yeah this is a turning point where it basically
time's going TO happen or i don't think we Come
back for you're just gonna have to throw the city
and give it to the criminals and wall it up and.

Speaker 2 (01:45:44):
Just Leave It jim kennedy Kennedy Instut To. Public policy
