Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson show Man, The story's just keep commented
commented comment, I was a Trump today visiting.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
To look at the devastation and damage in Texas here
and Milania. He is, of course trying to figure out
the more that this story unfolds in the blame game
that gets pushed around and they're blaming on a Christine home,
and then they're blaming it on this, and then they're
blaming The communication breakdown was so bad in so many areas.
(00:43):
It was a collective of really mishaps, cluster miscommunications.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
I mean, we can go on and on.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
It was just it was a Schmorgesborg of stuff that
should have happened that didn't happen. You've got the conspiracy
theorists out there from the rainmaker guy. Plus you got
the Austin fire chief who's come under fire because he
denied sending the first response swimmers, the swift water team.
(01:17):
And you know, you've got their union potentially holding a
vote next week of whether or not they have any
confidence in him. Their union head coming out and Bob
Nick saying, I just don't even worse.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Our firefighters are trained for that area. Our firefighters had
the equipment, they had the desire, they had the will,
they're the power to go up and actually, I know
some of those girls could have been surplived if we
had had the best boat crew the day before on scene.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
I know it.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
And he devastated, feels like we should have been there,
and they're like, well, it's because of money. Partially, there
were definitely certain issues with money. There was an email
that went out and said, look, we're all supposed to
be sharing here. The problem is nobody's paying us back
for sending people and they're not getting paid, and there
was there was definitely that and behind sign being what
(02:09):
it is. The email looks awful, there's no doubt, but
it wasn't just that. Listen to this. This is a
call that came through and is a perfect example right
here of stagnation and nobody wanting to make a damn decision.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Meanwhile, we're hearing a firefighter's dramatic emergency call made in
the early hours of the floods.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
We still have water coming up. Is there any way
we can send the code read out to our hunt
residents asking them to find on our ground or stay home.
Am I.
Speaker 7 (02:41):
We have to get that approved with our supervisor.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
That red alert was reportedly not set out for another
ninety minutes.
Speaker 7 (02:49):
And they pushed the bloody to issue an emergency alert.
Speaker 8 (02:52):
Sorry, it's not that easy and you just push a button. Okay,
there's a lot more to that. And we've told you
several times, so it didn't happen to me.
Speaker 7 (03:00):
I can't tell you this time.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
It took ninety minutes. I have to go to my supervisor.
It took ninety minutes. That is a perfect example of
bureaucracy and nobody wanting to take the lead. You remember
the rob Elementary shooting in Texas as well, where the
scumbag and that's all I'm going to say, killed nineteen students,
(03:24):
two teachers, and eventually what happened, somebody went in and
got him, and that was the Border Patrol's tactical unit.
But what happened in the previous seventy minutes. Everybody waited
for somebody to make a damn decision and they didn't.
And it feels like there were a lot of people
(03:45):
pre the incident for several months and years and during
the incident trying to figure out whether or not you
should do it. I should do it, I don't want
to be in trouble, So we'll just all kick it
around for a while and then we'll make a decision
after we all agree.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
So that way, nobody takes the lead.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
And I feel like there was a lot of that
as everybody looks for the blame. Nature was always going
to do what nature does, and sometimes no matter how
prepared you are, nature will do things that you cannot stop.
But when you have opportunities and everybody else is going,
I'm gonna have to go talk to somebody about this,
(04:29):
and we'll see that is not what you want to hear.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex and your Insta. Meanwhile,
yesterday at California Chaos, What immigration Baby? The battle is on,
it's not going anywhere, and it is only heating up.
(04:50):
And then you've got California Newsom and the Trump administration
the battle of Well, they went and got them themselves
into a battle with activists as they raided a potfarm.
Speaker 9 (05:05):
California Governor Gavin Newsom's office calling the raids inhumane, saying
agents continue to detain US citizens and racially profile Americans
ripping families apart, and disappearing parents and workers into cruel
federal detention centers. President Trump's borders are defiant, as he
addressed the classes.
Speaker 10 (05:24):
They can protest all they want, but they cross the line,
they're gonna be arrested, and they're gonna be prosecuted.
Speaker 9 (05:29):
The raids leaving communities on edge. A southern California Catholic
bishop telling his parishioners to skip mass if they were
fearful of ice, and.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yesterday was out of control. If you saw any of this,
it was insane. You pass the point of protesting by
jumping in front of the vehicles, attacking the vehicles, throwing
things like bricks and rocks at the vehicles. One person
shot at the vehicles. That's not protesting. And you're not
(06:05):
doing anything to help the cause. And I'll tell you
guys this where others won't. Trump doesn't want to deport everyone.
Despite he is.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
He is teased.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
He is teased around it. He is taking the temperature.
That's what Trump does. He's he's what's the audience saying,
what are they feeling?
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I don't want to get rid of this. I don't
want to do that.
Speaker 11 (06:32):
I do.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
And He sits there and he says, I want to
get rid of everybody. But they's like, but you know what,
maybe maybe not everybody. Maybe maybe we should keep some people.
There's a lot of people out there that would be
affected negatively. And and and he's in the hotel business.
He understands. So there's there's no doubt in my mind
(06:59):
he does not want to deport everybody. It was great
for the brand. It was great to push forward and
say we've got to do this, and we've got to
do this. Here's the thing. Trump has got himself into
a position now where the hardcore base, I mean the
(07:25):
hardcore base, which is the loudest, even put him to
a purity test. Wait a minute, you said you were
going to release the Epstein files. It's going on there.
Wait a minute. You're hinting at farmers, you're hinting at
(07:48):
hotel workers, you're hinting at Wait a minute, the purity
test comes in, you're not no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
And I sit there and go, I know he doesn't.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
I've talked to people, not just in the sphere there,
but you've got people on his staff and in his
administration that will purity test him. They want everybody gone,
which is not going to happen. I don't care what
anybody says, just not. We don't have the manpower the
(08:21):
resources to do it. But I'm telling you, when I
see him, and I think it was a I think
it was Mark Alprin said, you know, nobody tests the
subject like Trump does in front of an audience to
get that. He doesn't get the cheers, he doesn't get
that feedback that he wants because he's talking to people
(08:43):
that are absolutely being affected by it, and because of
the battle that has gone on, because of the rhetoric,
because of the hype, because of the insanity, we can't
even put ourselves in a position now to go, Okay,
hold on a second. We're not saying that everybody needs
to be a citizen. But let's do this in a
(09:03):
way that's real. Let's actually look at all the numbers.
Let's see what it would do. Because Trump's also very
aware that if they go and they start deporting to
the levels that they would like to see them deport out,
which is what like seven to eight thousand a day,
(09:25):
and businesses stop, and that supply chain even for a while,
gets wonky and prices go up. He understands the politics
of that and getting blamed for the prices. Where the
base who put them to the purity test, they seem
(09:47):
to be okay with that, but the Independents and the
Republicans who begrudgingly at times voted for Trump, they may
not be as on board with it, and so that's
an issue for him, there is no doubt about it.
Speaking of immigration, yesterday, birthright citizenship and the executive order stopped.
Speaker 12 (10:16):
The White House is vowing to fight this ruling and
the plaintiffs in this case hoping that it makes its
way back to the Supreme Court so the justices can
decide once and for all whether a ban on birthright
citizenship is constitutional.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
How it was stopped because they're going to come out
soh it's you know, it's the radical judges. This guy
was poor, you know, appointed by w he's a radical
and all this stuff. I thought they couldn't do this.
This judge didn't do anything that he shouldn't have done.
Inside of the ruling that came out for not birthright citizenship,
(10:53):
although that was the case of which they brought it,
it was about whether or not a district court judge
can issue a sweeping wide injunction to stop everything.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Nationwide.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Inside of that ruling, they left open class action and
that's what happened yesterday. So it wasn't a illegal radical judge.
It was a ruling and the quicker that this gets done,
the quicker this goes to the Supreme Court for the
actual hearing itself. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
(11:26):
four to twenty three at Chadminton show is your ex

the surrounding area are going through.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Our neighbor who's ninety two years old. My parents pulled
her out of the attic. You know, working through people's
wreckage of their life, it takes a toll on you.

You missing the show, make sure you grabb the podcast
right here on the Chad Benson Show. It has been
one of those weeks you look up and you think
to yourself, that was.
Speaker 11 (15:54):
Just a week. Yeah, just a week.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Normally this time of year in the world of politics
pretty quiet. It's kind of like, you know, the kids
they got their summer vacation. Politicians kind of have that
as well. Not a lot gets done, and much like
when school kicks off, the roads get busier, politicians get
busier Under Trump though, and we've seen this a lot.
(16:19):
I think a lot had zoo with social media. It's
non stop. It is non stop, and I don't see
it stopping anytime soon.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
That's for damn sure. I'll tell you that right now.
So much stuff still to get to today.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
The little Wheel of Surprise coming up in a bit
some interesting stuff because there were so many stories, because
the dominance of what took place in Texas and what
is still ongoing in the tragedy, and it is a
tragedy in Texas, that there was stuff we missed and
so we are going to have some fun with that.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
And some of these stories are really fun and interesting,
I think, because I don't know what stories we're gonna
pull in the weird of Surprise. Top of that, we've
got a couple of reviews about the new Superman movie
that came out today. What does that look like?
Speaker 11 (17:09):
As well?
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Reach out to those across all of our social media.
We love when you do three two, three, five, three eight,

sure you grabbed the podcast Wheel Surprise straight Ahead. It
is the chat Benson shown Chad Benson Show, The Chad
(18:02):
Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
It's one of our favorite things to do on the show.
On Fridays, we do a thing called Wheel of Surprise. Now,
if you're new to the program, we spin a wheel,
and we have this soundboard with all of these stories,
but we've taken out the title of the story. We
don't know what stories they are, because it's fun to
(18:24):
find out. And there's a lot of times we miss
so much stuff because well, you know, it's a busy
week and politics and all the stuff that's happening. And
this week has been one of those weeks where it's
been tough because of all that's happened in Texas and
several other things.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
So I said to the guys, I said, let's do this.
This one's only fun. It's no serious stuff, just fun stuff,
unique stuff, fun stuff that took place over the week.
Let's do it that way. We can all take a
little bit of a breather. And I said, all right,
let's do it, boys, And we did it.
Speaker 22 (18:56):
It's called the Wheel Earth Surprise, spending that word where
she stops.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Nobody knows Number.
Speaker 10 (19:15):
Eight Stoway Travelers that Lana Dolly was sentenced today to
time served. If you're a frequent flyer, you definitely can't
forget her story. She was convicted of flying without a
ticket from New York to Paris back in twenty twenty
four while claiming she was seeking treatment because the US
military poisoned her. Well, now we're learning this may not
(19:35):
be her first time trying to fly away as a stowaway.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Yeah, if you've not heard this story, it was a trip.
She got on the plane she flew. It's insane.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
The security checkpoint at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut on
November twenty fourth Betlana Dolly in a hat and scarf
trying to get through before a TSA officer turns her away.
Dolly then moves to a different lane and lingers. Dolly
waits for her moment. The airport worker shows her badge
and Dolly follows closely behind, never showing identification or a
(20:06):
boarding pass. Once inside the terminal, federal prosecutor said she
hid in a bathroom. Then she's seen approaching a jet
blue departure gate trying to board a flight before a
gate agent stops her.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Which is crazy, and you think of yourself because there's
pictures of her on the airplane and you're thinking, how
did you get that far? My wife tried to take
my son this week because we're waiting for our passports.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
We don't have the real idea.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
And she tried to take him and deliver him to
Southwest at the place where you board on the airplane,
and they wouldn't let her in. She wasn't getting on
the airplane, and this lady got this far tsa.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Once on board, Dolly hidden the bathroom for several hours
and faked vomiting to keep the flight attendants away. They
only figured out she was a stowaway shortly before landing
and made her sit in a seat reserved for flight crew.
Once Dolly reached France, she was arrested and French authorities
sent her back to the US. Federal prosecutors say stowaway
(21:10):
travel is a serious offense that endangers both the offender
and other air passengers.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
So she was sentenced. But it's an interesting thing with
the sentencing.
Speaker 23 (21:21):
A statute that she was charged under and convicted of
flying as a stowaway only carries a sentence of six months,
So she's been in jail now longer than that since
her arrest. And so the judge said she wanted there
to be a deterrent. She said, there's a danger that
other people could try to copy Stlana Dolly's behavior, and
(21:41):
we can't have that in our society that she said
would be unacceptable, so time served with an added year
of supervised release.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
But she's not out because she's been charged with trying
to stow away again, and that happened just before the
first time she tried to stow away.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
It's the wheel of Surprise.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Is your stories this week that are fun, non political
and insane, Just so we can take a deep breath,
spin the wheel.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Number four. I snack wraps Your Back. It's a christial
We have been waiting forever.
Speaker 14 (22:26):
It's been a long time coming, but the weight is
finally over. After years of speculation, the fan favorite snack
wrap is making its coveted return to the McDonald's menu today.
Are permanent all right, what are you thinking?
Speaker 1 (22:39):
It's a fantastic day. Snack wraps your back.
Speaker 14 (22:42):
According to the chain, the two dollars ninety nine entreat
features one of McDonald's new mccrispy strips, topped with shredded
lettuce and cheese in a soft flour tortilla, and will
be available in two flavors, spicy and ranch.
Speaker 20 (22:56):
We'll wait answer.
Speaker 12 (22:57):
We have the perfect you contenders to make the snackraps better.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
I love the snack wraps they're back, baby, they're back.
In the reason they're back because McDonald's listened.
Speaker 14 (23:08):
The snack wrap first hit the McDonald's menu nationally back
in two thousand and six, having several different iterations over
the years, but in twenty sixteen it phased out. Manager
in Natalia Montano on the McDonald's in Chicago explains to
News Nation why.
Speaker 12 (23:24):
It was because it was taking long time to prepare
and customers didn't want to wait.
Speaker 11 (23:30):
So now we're working on it to make it faster.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Than thirty seconds.
Speaker 14 (23:34):
When it was discontinued, fans were not loving it, from
countless social media posts to full fledged petitions. They never
gave up on their favorite menu item, and the hard
work has paid off.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Here to get that snack rap. Man, so glad it's back.
It's so good and I'm so happy McDonald's was finally
bringing that. Can't wait. I love it, baby, the snack
rap is back with a little bit of the spicy flavor.
Speaker 11 (23:57):
I like that.
Speaker 14 (23:58):
McDonald's first teased the return of this wrap in December
of twenty twenty four, stating it would arrive sometime in
the new year. Senior marketing director of McDonald's guilm Win
chimed in on x about the impact fans had on
this decision, writing, in part, your countless posts and request
and petitions made it happen. They were in all our meetings,
(24:18):
all our discussions, every single PowerPoint to make a case
for it. You want snack rap fans, thank you.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
It's the power of the people, baby, It's the power
of the people.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Do you realize itspen nine years, nine years and it's
back permanently, which that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Then in April, another clue was posted.
Speaker 14 (24:43):
Fast forward to June twid of this year, Popeyees unveiled
they would be releasing their own version of the snack
wrap for limited time nationwide, introducing customers to chicken wraps
at three p ninety nine each. One day later, McDonald's
competitive side clap back, officially announcing o Gate that their
snack Wrap would be back. Say what you may about
(25:04):
the timing of it all, but the ultimate comeback never
tasted so good.
Speaker 7 (25:08):
We're expended so.
Speaker 11 (25:10):
A lot, and we're ready for it.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
We're ready for everybody to come to McDonald's bought up.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Bup, bup bah. I'm loving it. By the way, A
La Carte two ninety nine.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Thank you very much, McDonald's. That is what I'm telling.
I love the snack rap I do. I love a
burger and I like McDonald's. And of course we all
know that they're the fries you made with angel tears.
But that thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
It's the wheel of surprise, slowing it down, the wheel
of surprise. What story will we get next? Number one?
Speaker 24 (25:54):
After more than six decades of Barbie, there's no question
the beloved doll can do it all.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
We've got that.
Speaker 24 (26:01):
She rocks different hairstyles, explores countless careers, and celebrates different backgrounds.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Express yourself, and this.
Speaker 24 (26:07):
Week, dollmaker Mattel is expanding her repertoire introducing the first
Barbie doll with type one diabetes. After past criticism over
Barbie's early lack of diversity, Mattel says it marks an
important step in our commitment to inclusivity and enables more
children to see themselves reflected in Barbie.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
Children like Eloise, I've always wanted to Mary just like me.
Speaker 11 (26:30):
That has it come like me?
Speaker 1 (26:32):
And I'm like me, I like this. I know other
people my business make it fun. It's not type two
diabetes Barbie. That's what I think a lot of people
thought it was.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
And having grown up, my grandmother passed away from diabetes.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
It it wrecked her life.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
She lived as long as she could, but she was
a brittle diabetic and she had it since she was
a child. And they couldn't even there was no way,
even with the it was nothing they could have ever done.
And the doctors said it was no way. But this
is cool and I have a problem with it. And
people in my industry are you know, it's there being
inclusive in that word is I would have taken that
word out. It's just you know what, it's Barbie. We're
(27:11):
just trying to reflect everybody. And there are people out there,
kids in particular, who have you know, diabetes.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
And this is just another step.
Speaker 24 (27:19):
Reactions already pouring in.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
She's just like me.
Speaker 24 (27:24):
Mattel worked with nonprofit Breakthrough t one D to develop
the doll.
Speaker 1 (27:28):
You got the chance to give some kids the Barbie
and what was their reaction.
Speaker 25 (27:33):
It was amazing the moment that we unveiled Barbie. The screams,
the shrieks, the joy was extraordinary.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Frankly, the tears.
Speaker 25 (27:43):
I was crying, The kids were crying then they started
chanting Barbie, Barbie, Barbie.
Speaker 24 (27:50):
Four year old Cora Patel showed us her continuous and
weeps monitor.
Speaker 11 (27:54):
What does it do?
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Hope? Just like Barbies.
Speaker 26 (27:59):
When she saw this Barbie, it's the only time I've
seen her ask for a doll. So she saw something
in it that she sees in herself, which is really cool.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Very cool. Indeed, it's the wheel of sure price. Where
it lands nobody knows? Again this week.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Good Stories only in the wheel of surprise, Good Stories
only number eleven.
Speaker 27 (28:36):
Who knew to see the world's tiniest dolphin. You might
want to enlist the help of a dog.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
He's a huge dolphin dog, as you just.
Speaker 27 (28:46):
Heard from George Albi here is one of four dolphin
dogs who help out his family's company Acoroa Dolphins. For
more than two decades now, their boats have been bringing
people around the waters of New Zealand to spot the
world's smallest and rarest marine dolphin, called Hector's Dolphin. It's
named after a famous scientist and weighs only up to
one hundred and ten pounds.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Oh, those could be great pets.
Speaker 11 (29:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
People are thinking that what what.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
It's a trip though, because I watched this earlier this week.
How these dogs go about finding the dolphins and then
how they follow them. They don't get in the water
and swim, although that would be hilarious, they couldn't keep up.
But how they follow them and lead the guy who
(29:34):
is essentially piloting the ship in which way the dolphins
are going.
Speaker 27 (29:40):
So here's where the dogs come in. After the skipper
spots a pod, they put the engine an idol, and
then the dogs use their natural instincts to show everyone
which direction the dolphins are headed. To be more precise,
George says Albion his colleagues can hear the clicking noises
dolphins use for echolocation.
Speaker 17 (29:55):
Yeah, if you, I'm sure where the dolphins are, specially
little kidies.
Speaker 21 (29:59):
They just follow the.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Dogs, George says.
Speaker 27 (30:01):
They do work with the dolphin dogs to make sure
they don't bark at the dolphins.
Speaker 17 (30:05):
Note the dolphins, they point the tyler stops wagging.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
The tail is don't wagging in a way. They go
dolphin dogs. That right. There was the wheel of surprise
ladies and gentlemen stories that we missed throughout the week,
and I said, let's have some fun stories. It's been
one of those weeks where a lot of stuff going down,
and you know, it's it's tough.
Speaker 2 (30:30):

Speaker 1 (32:19):
It's Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
With all the stuff going on in Texas, it wasn't
going to be long before the conspiracy theorists come out
of the woodwork.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
And this one is rain Makers caused this.
Speaker 11 (32:37):
They call him the rain Maker.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
Now he's lasting suggestions that his company may be linked
to the catastrophic Texas floods.
Speaker 29 (32:45):
Cloud seating had nothing to do with the remnants of
tropical storm Berry that caused flooding in Texas.
Speaker 5 (32:52):
Augustus ter Rico's company specializes in cloud seating. That's when
particles are released into the clouds to try to bring
about rainfall during drought conditions. The company, named appropriately Enough Rainmaker,
conducted cloud seating in Texas for a local nonprofit two
days before the flooding, but they say they stopped all
operations when the forecast called for stormy weather.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Stormy weather. So are there people out there that do
seed clouds? Yes, the kind of rain that came was insane.
We were talking about yesterday.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
We thought it was one.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Hundred what trillion gallons or some ridiculous amount of rainfall
that besieged that area. And this guy and his drones, Yeah,
I don't think they have that capability, but it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Never let any of that get in the way of
a good conspiracy.
Speaker 5 (33:46):
Now, wild conspiracy theories are being spread about the company,
falsely and without any evidence, claiming it might be linked
to the deluge. Cloud seating is responsible for flooding, goes
one typical comment. Republican firebrand congresswoman margin retailer Green posted
we must end the dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification.
Darrico rejects the idea that the Texas floods may be
(34:09):
connected to his rainmaking operation.
Speaker 29 (34:11):
I feel horribly for the people of Texas that were affected,
but not because rainmaker had anything to do with it,
not because cloud seating had anything to do with That is.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
Cloud seating capable of creating these kinds of floods.
Speaker 29 (34:23):
Tropical storm Berry precipitated trillions of gallons over Texas. That
has about a million times larger than what cloud seating
is even capable of.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Well, you need to get better at your job. I've
told you guys this for many many moons. I am
not a conspiracy theorist, and I'm not saying that they
don't try to manipulate as much as possible, because we
all know if you had the chance to manipulate certain
things you shared, they hell do it. And I'm talking
about real manipulation. But the kind of stuff that's out there,
people just don't care. Though they don't care, they don't check.
(34:56):
All they look at is the clickbait. If they agree
with it, they spread it. And that's sad. And you
know this whole thing has not only been a nightmare
and devastation for the people in Texas, but now I'm
reading that there was a attack on a weather station
(35:20):
in Oklahoma because of online threats, as if they had something.
Speaker 11 (35:23):
To do with all of this.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
What the hell is wrong with people?
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show, is your ex your Insta and
all of the other things that are out there.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
Social media wise, join us. We love what when you
do right here at the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
Coming up in hour number two of the program, We're
going to talk about a lot of stuff when it
comes to the dollar, the one big beautiful bill, the
impact it can have on obviously the economy and investing.
We're also gonna talk more about what is going on
in Texas with Trump's visit there today, as well as
(36:02):
birthright citizenship and Ukraine.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
Does Trump want the Nobel Peace Prize?
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Is that something that he absolutely wants a legacy cement.
We'll talk about that as well our number two of
The Chad Benton Show.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
Straight ahead, This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad
(36:52):
Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Trump paying a visit today to Texas and we'll love
more of that on Monday and how that went. But
you know, so it's you're hearing more and more stories
about survival but also loss, and also survival and loss
at the same time, we're.
Speaker 30 (37:10):
All looking for anew That's country singer Pat Green, whose
brother was on vacation in central Texas with his family
when the flight came tragically. John and Julia Burgess were
swept away, along with their five and one year old sons.
The couple's eight year old daughter, Jenna, was away at
a nearby camp and it's fine physically, but her entire
family is gone, and.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
That is it's devastating. And you know Trump going there
today and people like, what do you expect? Well, you know,
he does what he does, and he did what he did.
He is and I saw this weird criticism again the
other day. I tried to explain it to people. They're like,
why isn't he there?
Speaker 22 (37:46):
Now?
Speaker 2 (37:47):
You don't go there in the midst of all of
the chaos, because any president going anywhere, even to the store,
is chaos.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
And you don't need that.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
You need all of the things on the ground to
be focused on search, rescue, recovery, not photo ops and
all of the other things that come with the traveling
circus that is the president. Every president's that way. It's
it's crazy. And one of the things Trump's always been
(38:22):
accused of is he's not really the you know, the
healer in chief. And he's not really the empathy, isn't there. No,
he's not as empathetic as as other presidents.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
I will give you that. Uh, he's a lot more
real than a lot of other presidents. So there's that
flaws and all.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
So there's a lot that goes into the visit and
and you know what, what do people expect what to
not to expect with him? And with all of this,
you know, people are already because it remember it became
political immediately and the politics, by the way, hasn't gone anywhere.
And so a lot of it's gonna be about, you know,
the FEMA and the response. But there's so many things.
And we talked a bit about at last hour hearing
(39:01):
you know, the fire department calling and saying you need
to raise the alarm to one of the dispatchers and
the dispatcher says, hold on, I've got to see if
management wants to do that, which is just effing insane,
and then the alarm wasn't raised for ninety minutes. I mean,
(39:22):
that's the kind of so everybody's gonna be looking at
point fingers. Let's not pretend that that isn't going to happen.
And one of the things that you're hearing, so we
last hour, we touched a bit on the Austin.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
Fire chief.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Then of course the seating of some of the clouds
a few days before that conspiracy.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
And then one of the other things that's out there is.
Speaker 2 (39:52):
The America Recovery Planned Act and whether or not the
people in Kirk County wanted any part of it, and
were they staunchly against it. And it's funny because when
you listen to people cover it, because that's the thing
(40:13):
out there on the left, they're out there pushing you know,
they got offered money, they got offered money.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
They got offered money, did they Yes.
Speaker 15 (40:20):
Kirk County residents spoke out against using money from the
Biden administration to shore up its warning system to better
alert residents and visitors about flooding, and ultimately county commissioners
decided to use that money elsewhere. Hey there, I'm Brandy,
I'm a journalist in Texas, and here's what we know.
I broke down the county's twenty sixteen requests to the
(40:42):
state that got denied.
Speaker 31 (40:43):
You can find that video in.
Speaker 15 (40:45):
The playlist at the bottom of your screen. But the
Texas Tribune did a really phenomenal job breaking down all
of the times in the past decade that the county
has talked about needing better storm related infrastructure. One of
the things this article talks about is that in twenty
twenty one, Kirk County got about ten million dollars as
(41:06):
part of the American Rescue Plan Act. That money coming
from the Biden administration did not sit well with a
lot of residents who voted overwhelmingly for Trump in twenty sixteen,
twenty twenty and twenty twenty four. Some even asked the
county if it could return that ten million dollars.
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Now, that can't be true. Actually it is, and it's
way crazier than that. And what I mean crazy, it's crazy.
I've listened to way too much of Kirk County local
city council meetings about this, and I will tell you
(41:47):
the insanity of which some of this stuff I mean
I from. They're going to steal our homes. If we
take this money to mandated vaccines to I mean just
the and yeah almost to a person. The people that
spoke there are hours of it, didn't want any of
(42:08):
the money. That being said, did they take the money instead?
Speaker 15 (42:13):
The county commissioners again ultimately decided to use the money
in a different way. It dumped seven million into a
public safety radio communication system for the Sheriff's office and
fire services, and gave raises to Sheriff's office employees. The
rest of the money went to more county positions and
building a new walking path as a result. On one
(42:34):
of the busiest holiday weekends of the year, when campgrounds
and summer camps along the Guadaloup were packed, there were
no sirens to tell people that a wall of water
was headed their way. Some woke up to the warnings
from the National Weather Service, but hundreds didn't make it
(42:57):
out in time. We're talking about ninety six confirmed dead
in Kirk County, and the sheriff says.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
One hundred and sixty one people are still missing.
Speaker 2 (43:10):
And those numbers, like I said, they fluctuate the change.
And when they were just talking about the Kirk County
people ultimately they took the money, but they decided not
to use it for the sirens. So when you hear it,
and I've heard it from several people on the left,
because everybody loves to push out a narrative with only
(43:35):
giving us side of the story their team score, it
is frustrating. It is Ultimately they did take the money. Well,
they didn't do anything with the money and sirens. They
chose to use it elsewhere, so they did, but they
(43:55):
make it seem like, well, they didn't take any of
the money.
Speaker 11 (44:00):
They took it all.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
That was offered to them, and they spent it. They
didn't spend it on this. And twenty times they had
talked about it in meetings and twenty times they decided
against it, and they were gonna do a test, and
(44:23):
they had just awarded a group like seventy eight grand
to do a test, but it wasn't gonna be sirens.
It's gonna be another test. And the reason originally the
sirens and some of the other stuff they're talking about,
it's gonna be too loud. There's gonna be too much
of this. Okay, Well, now we know what's gonna happen.
(44:44):
Now it won't happen again. They're gonna put in sirens.
We understand that. But when you're looking at all this
stuff and you're hearing all this stuff, it doesn't matter
what it is. Understand this stuff is coming to you
in today's world. Sim as people trying to score points
(45:04):
on the interwebs, that's it, trying to win one for
their tribe. And yes, there were some whackadoos in some
of these meetings. I'm not gonna lie to you. I
will play some of it maybe later.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
I was.
Speaker 2 (45:21):
The some of the craziness was so out there in
some of these meetings about this money. You know, it's
it's it was infrastructure.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
Well, first of all, it didn't bring down any inflation
or any stuff, but it was infrastructure and crap like that.
Speaker 15 (45:41):
It was.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
I don't know how you get that. I do. I
wonder like, how do you get there? I get text
from some of you and you're in that position, but
I would like to know how you get there to
that point where.
Speaker 11 (46:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (46:00):
You're just you're out there. We're not gonna take any
of the money, give it back, Yeah, but we need
new this and new that. No, they're gonna come in
and they're gonna take everything, They're gonna lock us up
for not being vaccinated, They're gonna do all of that.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
You just say, okay, hmmm, just it's sad and tragic
doesn't really begin to describe what took place. But man,
not just politics, but conspiracy theory and lies. Woo, that
didn't take long three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
(46:39):
twenty three. At Chad Benson Show, is your ex your
Insta as well as your YouTube like and subscribe. We
appreciate it when you do that at Chad Benson Show.
Same thing with the Facebook as well. We really appreciate
when you go out out there and check out all
(47:01):
of our stuff. It helps us out big time, and
we try to give it to you straight guys.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
I I get frustrated. I just tell my wife this
last night. It is so much easier to just say
the most hyperbolic thing. And I don't know, I don't know,
you know, I don't know how people can sit there
and throw that insane stuff out there, no matter what
(47:31):
side you're on. And then I finally looked and her,
I said, it's simple figured it out because nobody cares
about the truth. They care about scoring points, and they
don't want to know what the truth might actually be
because they may go against their belief of their identity.
So it's one of those things where you know, you
(47:52):
punch in your run and then nobody holds anybody accountable.
And there's a difference between getting some thing wrong or
not having all of the facts and blatantly saying stuff
that is completely untrue. But it's also on you to
maybe do a little research three.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four twenty three at
Ched Benson's show, to your ex and your Insta. We
love it when you hear from you, guys.
Speaker 2 (48:21):
I saw an interesting piece earlier today about the dollar
and how to spend a little bit wiser if you will,
because of the weakness of the dollar and the pressure
right now.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
And let me tell you something, Birch Gold will help
you with that.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Why because Yeah, a lot of countries now, the bricks nations,
they want to decouple themselves from the dollar and they
want to see if they can push it down. And
so what does that mean, golds, So what are you
going to do. You're going to look out there and say,
I don't know. No, You're going to text Benson to
ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight to Birch Gold. They're
(48:57):
going to arm you with the best information about what
you should you do when it comes to precious metals
and how you can protect yourself. Gold up forty percent
in well what about a year, and it's heading towards
all time high. Opportunities are there. Take advantage of this now.
Text the word Benson right now to ninety eight ninety
(49:18):
eight ninety eight for Birch Gold A plus rated by
the Better Business Bureau. They're gonna take care of you.
They're gonna give you all the information for you to
make the right decision for you and your family. Text
the word Benson now to ninety eight ninety eight ninety
eight for Birch Gold. Trump Nobel Peace Prize winner, he'd
like it. Chad Benson Show, Chad Benson, Trump and the Pooter.
(49:52):
It's getting very interesting, you know. I see a lot
of people say Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize, and
I there's a portion of that which will never happen.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
I'm here to tell you not in the time we live.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
I think for him to get it, it would almost
have to be retroactive because if they do come to
ah agreement in say Israel hamas kind of thing, start
to rebuild and it holds.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
Yeah, and Trump's a big part of that. How could
you not.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
Same thing with Ukraine? And that, of course, as we
all know, is heating up in a major way. Trump's
starting to get a little bit more pissed than I
think a lot of people thought he would get, because
his frustration levels through the roof.
Speaker 32 (50:45):
We are seeing a shift when it comes to President
Trump's approach to Vladimir Poon. He's been using some of
the toughest language that we've heard yet. Ing It's has
really been building over time. Remember that on the campaign
trill Trump had said he was going to end the
word Ukraine in twenty four hours.
Speaker 1 (51:00):
That hasn't happened. No, it hasn't happened.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
And you're seeing the fact that Russia, in particular the
Pooter pushing on and on, and Russia's going harder at
Ukraine than ever before, faster than ever before, and deadlier
than ever before.
Speaker 33 (51:21):
We're just going to see more and more of this,
and that already means that it's becoming much more deadly
for civilians. The UN is out with a report that
says that June was the most saw of the largest
number of civilian casualties in Ukraine in the past three years.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
And they're doing stuff that they haven't done, which is
over the last several years since this thing started, it
has taken them a while, very cumbersome to put attacks together.
Speaker 1 (51:51):
Now it's just go, go, go. And the Poots looks
at this and says, what are you going to do
about it?
Speaker 2 (51:57):
And this is where Trump, and this is pissing some
MAGA people off, is saying, Okay, if that's what you're
gonna do, when we were gonna give you a lot
of what you were asking for and probably way more
than you deserved. If that's really what you're gonna do,
then I guess we're gonna have to take it up
(52:17):
a notch as well. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson's show. That
is your X, your Insta, YouTube and Facebook right here
on the Jad Benson Show. So you're going to see
the weapons and I think some of the defense systems
get in there and giving him an off ramp. The
(52:41):
pooter wasn't gonna take it. Now you're gonna have to
try to push him towards an off ramp or force
him to an off ramp. And when I say that
Trump isn't gonna get a Nobel Peace Prize because a
lot of people in the world of academia and Hoidy
Toyty Ivory Town, they don't like him at all. He
(53:03):
doesn't follow the protocols that they like. And despite him
being a billionaire, he's more rough and tumble, if you will,
a little bit more uncouth, to say the least.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
And he's pissed a lot of people off, and he
said a lot of things, and he stepped on a
lot of toes, So he doesn't follow the formula.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
The fact that if we do see piece come out
of the Middle East with Hamas eventually being completely gone
through negotiations after the bombardment of bombardments that the IDF
has taken on Gaza, but they get a deal done.
And the fact that people snicker at he would get
(53:51):
a Nobel Peace Prize, Why wouldn't he?
Speaker 1 (53:54):
Is it because you just don't like who he is
as a person. That's ridiculous. They gave Obama a Nobel
Peace Prize for what still trying to figure that one out.
For being just a cool guy three two, three, five,
three four, twenty three at Chat Benson shows here ex
and your Insta. My buddy Zach Abram joins the program
straight ahead, talk a little bit about the economy, and
(54:15):
a bunch of other stuff. Chad Benson shown Chad Benson Show,
(54:40):
The Chad Benson Show. It's that time of the week.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
We talk to our good buddy, Zach Abram, chief vestment
officer over at But we're capital friend of the show,
sponsor of the show man. I look at our mark
and I think, okay, but uh, we've talked before, and
I'm always fascinated that more people don't know.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
You know, America, it's not the only game when it
comes to investing.
Speaker 7 (55:02):
You know, we've started looking abroad, and it's the one
reason that we're having a really strong year. I think
we're up between eighteen to twenty percent now. And it's
just it's it continues to be a head scratcher to
watch so many US investors' claw and fight over these ridiculously.
I'll throw one out there that everybody knows. I was
(55:24):
reading an article today about Tesla. Okay, this analyst came
out and said he reiterates his buy order and his
price target on Tesla's three hundred and twenty bucks. Well,
coming into the day was trading at three hundred. But
he was basing that valuation.
Speaker 11 (55:40):
I kid you not.
Speaker 7 (55:41):
He said, we are basing this valuation on fifteen times
twenty forties projected ebadah. So he's looking fifteen years down
the road. I don't even know if Tesla will exist
in fifteen years, No doubt. He's looking fifteen years down
the road and projecting revenues and profits coming from business
(56:03):
lines that don't yet exist, Robots, full self driving, all
the and look, my point is not that he is wrong.
My point is not that he is right. My point
is I don't think I have seen a better temperature
gauge for how disconnected this market is from anything fundamental.
(56:25):
When I'll just tell you, sitting in a lot of
those rooms in normal times, if an analyst comes in
and bases a price target on Ebadah that he's projecting
fifteen years out like it, that's a punchline to a joke,
right like it's everybody would laugh and you would just
assume he was joking. This is the stuff that gets
(56:48):
passed off as hardcore research these days, it's nuts. So
it is nuts. And when I see that, I look
at that, and somebody goes, based on that, what do
you think the target of tesla is? And I go, well,
that is nothing, So based on that, pigs can make
pepperoni pizzas. I mean, I don't know what you want
me to say.
Speaker 1 (57:07):
What can you say? It's fantasy lamb.
Speaker 7 (57:08):
Yeah, I'm not telling you the stock is going to fifty.
I'm not telling you it's going to five hundred. I'm
telling you you've got all these things that are so
far off they're intrinsic value today.
Speaker 11 (57:21):
You know.
Speaker 7 (57:21):
It's like it's I try to equate this to people
that don't do this all the time, and I'm like,
it's sort of like getting lost in the woods, right,
meaning at a certain point, you're so far gone where
anybody thinks the previous trail is really doesn't matter anymore,
because you may actually now be closer to your destination anyway.
Speaker 11 (57:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (57:42):
Right, So it's like you're trying to instead of walking
directly to the place, you've walked all the way around
the earth, and you're at the point where you're going
to end up where you're supposed to, but you got
lost getting there, right, Yeah, Like you're so.
Speaker 7 (57:54):
Far out there. So then you flip around and you
start looking abroad, and it's the end. You find stocks
that have pristine balance sheets paying ten twelve fourteen percent dividends,
with net cash on the balance sheet growing at ten
twelve percent fifteen percent a year, in locales where their
(58:16):
governments have infinitely more balance sheet flexibility in terms of
their spending in their debt situations. And you know, you
look at places like Latin America that have solidly positive
birth rates, whose governments are pivoting away from socialist practices.
There's just so much other great stuff out there, and
(58:37):
it's like I'm watching guys, you know, armchair like arm
wrestle to see who gets the right to rearrange the
deck chairs on the Titanic. And again, not that we're
going to the bottom of the ocean. I don't think
the American market's about ready to implode. I just think
much like this year, when you look at the top
forty performing stock markets in the world, the United States
(58:57):
isn't found in the top thirty, right, And so I
just think that everybody is blind to all the easy
money that's been made in this market over the last
fifteen years, and we've made a lot of easy money
this year, but it ain't from the US market, and
I don't think it will continue.
Speaker 1 (59:12):
To be well in the insanity you're talking about, you know,
the Tesla guy there. When we first started doing this
a few years ago, there was one company that snuck
up on a trillion dollars in Nvidia's valued at four trillion.
There's like fifteen companies now. Once that ceiling was broke,
it's like the four minute mile. Once somebody did it,
then a whole mess of people are doing it.
Speaker 2 (59:34):
You've got you know that other company that got to
a trillion, Apple, that's not that they're down at the
bottom of the trillion.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
It's insane.
Speaker 7 (59:42):
Yeah, they're now Yeah, well it's weird to say, right,
So we're kind of like looking at them not performing well,
kind of bringing up the rear of the ranks. They're
still sporting a three point four trillion dollar multiple and
trading at thirty three times earnings. And I got to
tell you, of all those companies, we've made some money
being short Apple.
Speaker 16 (01:00:03):
This year.
Speaker 7 (01:00:03):
We removed our short just because people are doing stuff
stupid stuff on Apple. But Apple's another one where everybody
has this bulletproof Apple can't make a misstep. I'll be
honest with you and here, well, here's the thing, Chad.
If I'm wrong, you know, I'll just come on and
admit it. I think Apple's best days are behind it.
I really do, I think. And the crazy there's so
(01:00:27):
many crazy metrics to Apple that people do not understand.
Do people out there realize that Apple is trading it
twice the valuation of Google? And Google is growing three
times as fast, has more revenue, has more profit, has
real viable Here's how screwed up this market is. Apple
got this big run up to the highest valuation it's
(01:00:49):
had it anytime over the last twenty years. Okay, based
off AI hype. They come out and announce they're no
longer pursuing their own AI I E. We can't get
it right, that's what they're saying.
Speaker 11 (01:01:05):
Right.
Speaker 7 (01:01:05):
There's stock rallied three percent on that news.
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
It's just it's inane.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
Well, people, you're their sizzle. There you were there was
a steak you remember from ten years ago. Then he
had it five years ago. It was still amazing, and
you're buying that sizzle, and you're going there and you're reminiscing,
and it's more about the reminisce because there's steaks next
door that are way better, way cheaper, and they're offering
(01:01:29):
a whole play to stuff besides just a steak. Like
you talk about Google, they got like eighty things on
top of it all. Apple, they just we're gonna bring
out the iPhone ninety three. We have added one more
smaller camera to it, you know, lens.
Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
And you're like, Okay, here's the funny thing. Let's take
all of the revenue from Google from search away. Now,
that's never gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
Right.
Speaker 7 (01:01:53):
If the FCC and the federal government made Google divest
search right using antitrust laws, Google Search wouldn't be worth nothing.
Google would spin it out and ipo it into its
own company, yeah right, or they would sell somebody else.
But I'm just telling you, most likely they would just
ipo it. Okay, but let's say they can't. Let's say
(01:02:16):
Search is worth nothing. Let's say they can't sell it,
they can't ipo it. Ridiculous assertion. But let's just say,
do you know what you'd be left with. You'd be
left with a company that was that app today's price
would be trading at the same valuation as Apple, but
growing more than twice as fast.
Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
It's crazy doo.
Speaker 7 (01:02:38):
So you look at him, You'll hear this whole thing,
and you're like, Okay, well, let's say that happens. Let's
say they get rid of Search it's worth zero. Where
does that leave you? And you're looking at the guy
he doesn't even know, and you go, yeah, it puts
you at the same valuation as Apple, with a company
that is growing more than twice as fast. So I
say all this just to show people. Look, if you're
(01:02:59):
waya for like a doorbell to chime or something like that,
to let you know that you needed you need to
pull back. Because that's the other thing, Chad. People don't
own Microsoft and Apple and Tesla and their portfolios the
fifty to sixty percent of their portfolios are those stocks. Yeah, right,
I see it all the time. As a matter of fact,
(01:03:20):
I've got a guy one of my clients right now
that has a big position in Microsoft that you know,
he doesn't want to sell a bunch of for cab
gains for a bunch of viable reasons right now, I've
got two of my analysts on a conference call with
him working on putting together a strategy where a we're
purchasing put options. We're selling call options way out of
(01:03:43):
the money, taking that premium buying put options, so effectively
giving him free insurance. So if the price of Microsoft,
that's another crazy thing. Microsoft's fortrillion now right at it? Okay,
gender trading at fourteen times revenue. One of the largest
corporations the history of the world is trading it fourteen
times revenue. Just mind boggling, but great company. Right, So
(01:04:08):
what we're going to do is, first of all, we
were we've figured out we're able to sell about a
third of its stock without taking any capital gains because
we can offset it with some other things in his portfolio.
So we're going to sell about a third we've already
done that make him a little less risk exposed. Then
do that option strategy so if the rest of it
gets hit, the options will go up just as much
(01:04:30):
as the underlying stock. That whole thing right there is
costing him less than one percent of his overall position. Okay,
So for less than one percent of the overall position,
we can harvest a third of it with no cab
gains and protect the rest of it. So if it
when it goes back to a normal valuation, he's not
(01:04:51):
going to take a forty to fifty percent beating across
the face. So, like I've told people, do you need
to just go out and sell all those things? Generally speaking, guys,
if you've got an investment that's done that well, you
should take some profits. There may be reasons why not,
but there's simple things that we can do. Then other
people can do too. We're not the only ones. But
(01:05:12):
now is not the time to just let again. You're
gonna feel like an idiot if you lose forty to
fifty percent of the value of a company like Microsoft
when you didn't sell any when it was trading at
fourteen times revenue, if you don't realize how obscene fourteen
times revenue is. I'm going to do you a favor.
I want you to go google a company called Sun
(01:05:35):
Microsystems and a guy named Scott McNeely, and you're going
to read an interview he gave coming out of ninety
nine and two thousand where he explains better than I
can how insane that valuation is and how if you
own a company valued at that highly for long enough,
you will get wrecked.
Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
And it wasn't Sun's and that wasn't their fault. That
wasn't That was the market and greedy people buying into
something that pushed something to an unimaginable position that it
should never have been at.
Speaker 7 (01:06:05):
And look, the same is true of all these companies.
These companies are overvalued because they're the greatest revenue profit
producers in human history. This is not a knock. Microsoft's
right in my backyard. I've got friends and family that
I had two. I had one of my best friend's
wives and one of my kid's best friend's dads who's
become a good friend of my wife and I. They
(01:06:26):
were my Fourth of July party. We're talking Microsoft, I
got nothing again. I love Microsoft. They do great stuff.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
Right, we're not.
Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
This is nothing against the corporation. It's why all the
time I sit there, people are like, why are you
begging on musk? And I go, I'm not begging on musk. No,
They're like, but you're short, Tesla, and I go, my
job is to Yeah. We shorted it at four hundred
and we covered it two twenty. It worked great. Yeahkay,
we just shorted it again at three point thirty and
rolled it back down to two ninety five. What my
(01:06:54):
job is to make money. I'm not for long these guys.
But when you show me an automobile manufact like Tesla
whose core business is shrinking by thirteen percent a year
and the underlying stock still trading at one hundred and
seventy five times earnings, I'm shorten it all day long. Yeah,
and if you get hurt in the process, that's on you.
You got to keep your head on a swivel.

Why because that's what we do, that's who we are.
It is the Chadbentson show running with Scissor sl Race
compared to this.
Speaker 2 (01:10:01):
Same you know, a few weeks ago, when Scotis came
down with their decisions, one of them, which was poorly
put out there and talked about, was not the birthright citizenship.
That was the executive order on which the case was brought.
The actual case itself that they ruled on was whether
(01:10:26):
or not district court judges could essentially issue a nationwide injunction,
and the Supreme Court said no, they can't. So a
court in you know, New Hampshire couldn't issue a injunction
(01:10:46):
for the entire nation. And everybody's like, okay, so Trump
can do all of his stuff that he wants to
do now. But there was something inside the ruling, and
that was class action. So if there was a class
action lawsuit that judge, no matter where they are, if
they ruled, that could be a nationwide injunction or ruling
(01:11:12):
based on the class So singular no, but a class
action yes.
Speaker 34 (01:11:18):
This executive order on its face is almost certainly unconstitutional.
The president doesn't have the power to rewrite the Constitution
to redefine citizenship. And therefore, instead of offering one of
those sweeping universal injunctions just at the drop of a hat,
he said, I'll look at certifying a class. And in
(01:11:38):
this case, he said, the class is any newborns born
in the United States going forward.
Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
And therefore that executive order is again on hold.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
And of course the administration and the supporters are saying, oh,
here we go again. Radical judge pointed by w this
is what you get. No, this was always in the
rule the class action. So it wasn't some sort of
special magic that he just said, screw it, I'm gonna
do whatever I want. This was always in that ruling
(01:12:09):
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, is your ex and your insta.
Speaker 1 (01:12:14):

Coming up, our number three of the program, more on
what's happening in Texas. Obviously, the fire chief in Austin
and the controversy there.
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
We're going to talk a little bit about that.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Yesterday chaos in California, ice protesters clashing.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
At the marijuana farm. Talk a little bit about that.
We got a little watch trending.
Speaker 2 (01:12:41):

(01:13:32):
But Trump's visit today to.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
The disaster in Texas's questions obviously about FEMA.
Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
Everybody's looking to point fingers. There is a lot of.
Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
Blame to go around, and a lot of that has
to do with indecision, not on FEMA's part, but at
the local level. It also has a lot to do
with the ridiculousness in the way that these warning systems,
which really weren't warning systems, were in place. You're in
(01:14:11):
a flood zone and what do you have, Well, we've
got the buddy system essentially, Well, what's the buddy system?
Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
Chiat.
Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Well, when the rain gets to a certain level, our
camp will call the camp down the road and tell
them that it may be a flood coming. That's not
a good system, especially at three in the morning.
Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
It was. It's insane.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
Day one I said, why do they not have sirens?
Day one asked the question the fixes and heard with
all of the technology, how inexpensive it was, why didn't
they have stuff in place? One of the conspiracy theories
you'll hear they were offered money federal dollars part of
(01:15:02):
the Biden administration and their big Bill and the infrastructure
and all that, and they turned them down.
Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
But they didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
They actually took the money, even though the stuff that
they were saying at the board meeting was insane. They
took it and they spend it elsewhere. And we have
heard on numerous occasions that they had opportunities. They had
spoken about it, but they were worried that it was
(01:15:30):
going to be too costly, they were worried that it
was going to be too noisy, all of the things.
Speaker 1 (01:15:37):
That when you look.
Speaker 2 (01:15:38):
Today, you realize it was a joke. So they got
ten million dollars and they spent a lot of it
on other things that were probably needed. So do you
want to know what it cost?
Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
And again, roughly to scale minimal set up one siren,
basic gauges thirty to fifty grand, robust small town system,
multiple sirens, smart gaugees, telementary ongoing maintenance one hundred and
fifty grand plus about ten thousand a year for the
(01:16:13):
entire system.
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
But no, on top of that, there were other things.
And one of those other things nobody wanted to lead
in a time of crisis. Everybody had to go to
everybody else, who had to go to everybody else, who
had to go to a manager to try to figure
out if this was okay to do. Case in point this,
which may be one of the most telling things out there.
Speaker 5 (01:16:37):
Meanwhile, we're hearing a firefighter's dramatic emergency call made in
the early hours of the floods.
Speaker 6 (01:16:43):
Well, we still have water coming up.
Speaker 11 (01:16:44):
Is there any way we can.
Speaker 6 (01:16:45):
Send the code read out to our hunt residents asking
them to find hiro ground or stay home.
Speaker 7 (01:16:50):
Jimi, We have to get that approved with our supervisor.
Speaker 5 (01:16:54):
That red alert was reportedly not set out for another
ninety minutes.
Speaker 7 (01:16:58):
In dinguished the blood you issued an emergency.
Speaker 8 (01:17:01):
A learned sir, it's not that easy and you just
push a button. Okay, there's a lot more to that,
and we've told you several times.
Speaker 7 (01:17:07):
Didn't happen.
Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
I can't tell you at this time. That is embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Hold on, I'm going to have to go check with
my supervisor. Could people die? Let me get my supervisor
on the phone.
Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
Not a good look. Not a good look.
Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
So the blame that everybody wants, there's plenty of it.
And you also had people that didn't lead on the
ground in the moment because they were having to, I
don't know, go to a supervisor. Nobody wants to make
that decision. Nobody wants to make that move because what
if I'm wrong? Oh my goodness. Well, if you're wrong
(01:17:53):
and it was an overreaction, people are alive, meaning it
wasn't a flood. You overreacted. People are alive, though, if
you're right, not all but some people.
Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
Would have survived.
Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
I'm going to go back to also in Texas, rob elementary,
three hundred cops, everybody standing around, and it was the
tactical unit from the Border Patrol that had to do
the business because nobody wanted to be a leader.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
It's a joke. So there's human failure along with everything else.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chadbenton Show, Is Your ex Your Insta? Meanwhile?
Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Yesterday, Oh my lord, what's going on California this morning?
Speaker 35 (01:18:46):
The fallout after dramatic clashes between federal agents and protesters,
agents from Ice and Border Patrol creating two locations of
a cannabis farm in California yesterday and Ventura counting.
Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
The scene growing tens.
Speaker 35 (01:19:03):
NBC Los Angeles reporting that officials were seen using flashbangs, smoke,
and chemical irritants to keep the crowd back as the
confrontation unfolded.
Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
It was chaos and craziness and the battle that is
going on between California in particular Chicago probably sooner rather
than later. It's you know, I mean, this is this
was ugly, and it was ugly by the protesters who
they were energized, and this wasn't just a random situation.
(01:19:38):
And I think a lot more people are realizing these
things aren't just hey, you call one person, They're doing
something down here. People came out in droves out of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
Some of them with guns.
Speaker 35 (01:19:53):
Video showing an unidentified man appearing to fire a weapon,
the FBI now offering a reward for information about him.
Protesters also facing off against federal agents reading another location
of the company, Glasshouse Farm, delect he was denied entry
to the site, the Department of Homeland Security saying the
(01:20:13):
agents were executing criminal search warrants. Glasshouse Farm saying it
quote fully complied with agent search warrants. It's part of
the larger immigration crackdown that President Trump promised through the campaign.
California's Governor Gavin Newsom saying the White House's tactics quote
evoke chaos, fear, and terror within our communities.
Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
I'm going to tell you is some of that true?
Are there people scared? Are there a lot of those
things that are going on out there where there's fear? Yeah,
there is. I'm not gonna lie to you to say
it's not.
Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
The chaos, though, didn't come from the warrants being served.
The chaos came when the protesters got there and stepped
it up a notch.
Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
That's when the chaos came. That's when the craziness came.
Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
They weren't there to hold up signs, they blocked They
somebody shooting, They're also having people throw hues, rocks and
bricks at the ice officers. This is insane. This is
not a we're here to peacefully protest. That line was crossed.
Speaker 17 (01:21:28):
It was.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
And then you hear stories. You know, MSNBC rolls out
this story to.
Speaker 36 (01:21:33):
Do highly skilled labor. This is highly skilled labor. It
is not easy what these ad workers do. If we
put back up the images were watching out of Oxnard,
because I want to talk to the fact that you
may see these folks in the in the field.
Speaker 31 (01:21:47):
And they are members of families, and we've not heard
those stories.
Speaker 36 (01:21:52):
Yet, but every one of those people has either a
kid or a loved.
Speaker 31 (01:21:58):
One whose parent or aunt or uncle is not coming
home tonight. So remember that first and foremost.
Speaker 1 (01:22:06):
And there were people that got arrested yesterday who had
a wife and a kid, or a husband and a kid,
or just a kid, and they're not also coming home.
Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
And they're Americans, so nobody, nobody cares. I mean, that's
just what are you doing? What is that all about?
Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
Who's that for?
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
And this is why there's never an honest conversation when
it comes to immigration.
Speaker 1 (01:22:35):
It's all or nothing. Are there people here that are
bad ownbraced. Yeah, duh.
Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
Are there people here that have come here and done
bad things? Are a vast majority of the people here
outside of being here when they're not supposed to breaking
any laws.
Speaker 1 (01:22:53):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
No, that being said, Ice has a job. Nobody wants
to cooperate in these big cities. So this is what
you're going to get this. By the way, I did
raids under Obama, under Trump, under Biden, but the cameras
weren't there and the protesters weren't there. And this is
(01:23:17):
a frustrating thing because it's such a big giant story
in the world of politics, and politicians won't let that
go because there's too much to be made off of it,
too much to campaign on, too much fundraising to be done,
(01:23:41):
rather than come and actually get any kind of deal done.
Speaker 1 (01:23:46):
And by the way, I do think there would be
a deal to get done. I think Trump wants to get.
Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Amnesty for farm workers, for hospitality services, things like that.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
I absolutely think he does.
Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
His problem is there's now a purity test and Trump
would fail that and he's already struggling right now with
the whole Epstein thing. And you're hearing too many people
on his side and said, you better not you better
not even think about it. And he has more than
a few times floated the idea, but too many people
are pushing back on it now and he wants that
(01:24:24):
I will tell you that right now. He wants the
opportunity to give people not a pathway to citizenship, but
a pathway to stay here, so the farmers and the
workers in the hospitality industries they can stay, so those
industries don't suffer. Because he's really aware of higher food
(01:24:47):
prices and the cost for Americans to see their goods
go up.
Speaker 1 (01:24:53):
Don't help you when you said you were going to
bring them all down.

Moon Tonight buck Moon they're calling it, and Superman all

thing is interesting. If you don't know what burkin is,
it's a bag. Ask your wife, ask your girlfriend, ask
(01:29:30):
your mom. And yesterday, and by the way, berkins are
so amazing. Apparently they're so incredible. I actually follow somebody
on TikTok and and I believe it is on Insta.
It's this lady and people bring burkein bags to her
and she also sells Burke and bags. They're the bag
(01:29:52):
to have, Okay, just letting you know they're the bag
to have. Yesterday, the bag of the bags was sold.
Speaker 37 (01:30:00):
If you know fashion, you know the famous Aermez Birken
bag costs a pretty penny, but this one sold for
an astronomical sum today. It's the very first Burken bag
ever made. Someone bought it for more than ten million
dollars at auction. The Birken bag was made for actress
Jane Burkin in nineteen eighty four. She was sitting next
to the then head of Ermez on a plane and
(01:30:21):
asked why the fashion house didn't make bigger bags, And
so he did.
Speaker 1 (01:30:25):
And that bag that he made for her, the first
one ten million bucks. I don't know who bought it,
but I know they had at least ten million bucks.
Who do you think bought it?
Speaker 11 (01:30:35):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:30:37):
They're hard to get. If you're getting a new one
and you're a new customer, one to three year wait
for a bag, think about that, or if you see
somebody with one, I'm not saying do that. Oh, you
guys are the worst. Jim Kennedy joins the program Straight

Speaker 11 (01:31:22):
You know what that means.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
Talk talk god Buddy, Jim Kennedy of the Kennedy Institute
of Public Policy Research.
Speaker 1 (01:31:28):
We talked politics, pop culture and all the things. All right, Jim,
So did you hear there's no files?
Speaker 38 (01:31:37):
There's no files, There's nothing in those it's those Epstein files.
Speaker 11 (01:31:40):
Wow, what do you know?
Speaker 38 (01:31:42):
So what exactly was Trump campaigning on? What was Bondie
talking about? What was cash Ptel talking about? What has
everybody been talking about for the last four years? About
revealing the dirt that's in the files? Jd Vance has
got a tweet from twenty one demanding that they're betray
transparency and everything be shown. This is not good for
(01:32:03):
the Trump administration cause I don't know, Chad, what do
you believe? But I don't believe that there really wasn't
nothing there. I believe there really is something there and
for some reason they don't want to show it.
Speaker 1 (01:32:14):
I believe that there is something there.
Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
I believe we are absolutely involved in a major way,
and I'm sure intelligence agencies both here and abroad were
probably a part of some of this. One of the
things that's very interesting though, Jim, is a younger generation
of MAGA supporters are very pissed. A older generation not
(01:32:40):
as much, but a younger generation absolutely frustrated by this.
Speaker 38 (01:32:45):
I'm not part of that group, and I'm not happy
about it, and I don't think you're happy about it,
and I don't think people that are, you know, it
runs runs a pretty wide age gammut that are that
are not happy about this. If this shows that you know,
I mean, you know, I've been around long enough and
I'm pretty sure you've been wrong long enough to know
that if you delve into some of the US intelligence
operations and what the programs they run over the years,
(01:33:05):
they don't necessarily shine a glorious light of patriotism and
freedom on America. They are not known for, you know,
for for running operations that make they would make a
lot of Americans proud. Maybe it's just such as a
dirty business or what and if may be a bridge
too far as far as wanting to disclose it and
actually get into the details of how slimy the US
(01:33:27):
intelligence services were as being involved with this guy, or
maybe it was something that just got out of control,
and they couldn't handle it, and they don't want to
admit that they basically lost control of an operation that
shouldn't have gone anywhere nearly as far as it wind
up as it wound.
Speaker 11 (01:33:41):
Up doing so.
Speaker 38 (01:33:42):
But I think you just need to you know, it's
interesting because I know that, you know, Trump has always
been is not a fan of a lot of the
intelligence agencies because of you know, the the experts on
the dossier and and all of those things where he
thinks that he's been you know, done dirty by a lot.
Speaker 11 (01:33:58):
Of the intelligence agency.
Speaker 38 (01:33:59):
So I'm not so I'm a little surprised why you
just wouldn't let them just be embarrassed, unless it is
just so horribly bad that it would, you know, make
we work a pariah nation in the world or something
that we were that horrible for this.
Speaker 2 (01:34:13):
Talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research,
and I think, Jim, you hit it on the head there.
I think they looked, and I think there were people
and powers that be who, in a weird way, may
actually lend credence to certain powers that are truly deep.
Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
Who said I got news for you.
Speaker 2 (01:34:34):
This right here, this isn't about the stock market falling
five percent and some people getting in trouble. This is
everything collapsing, people going to prison in large swaths across
the globe, and unstability. That's the sense I get. If
it is as big as you know, I think a
lot of people. We were told there are thousands of names,
(01:34:56):
thousands of victims, all this stuff. Man, you got to
feel like it's it's all kinds of folk, from heads
of states to royalty as we know, to power brokers.
And that is something I think that people are looking at.
Going inside of there. You can't do that because if
this thing collapses everywhere, we're going to be a priah
(01:35:16):
in a way that you could not believe.
Speaker 38 (01:35:18):
It's interesting Yesterday Alan Derschwitz came out and said that
he knows who's peat was on the list. He's seen
the list because if you remember, he was Epstein's lawyer
for a number of different legal matters.
Speaker 11 (01:35:28):
Yeah, i'd be sure which ones they were, but I
know that because whenever his name shows up he explains
it as I was his lawyer. Yes, I was on
the plane. No, I didn't do anything.
Speaker 38 (01:35:37):
He was sued by a woman who sued a lot
of people who later retracted her claims because they had
no evidence.
Speaker 11 (01:35:42):
To prove anything that she claimed.
Speaker 38 (01:35:44):
So he's, you know, he's pretty much as much of
an insider on this as anybody's going to be. He
says he's seen the names. I don't know if that
really is a good thing for him to be praguing about.
He may, you know, he's an elderly gentleman who may
wind up unfortunately.
Speaker 11 (01:35:58):
You know, he he's up on you know, Martha's vineyard
right now.
Speaker 38 (01:36:02):
He may unfortunately wind up like the Obama chef if
he's not careful pretty soon.
Speaker 1 (01:36:07):
Yeah, but it's scary.
Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
But you know, when you think about some of these
things that happen, you have to ask a question, like,
I am I getting too deep into this? Talking to
Jim Kennedy Kennedy Instue Public Policy Research. All right, let's
shift from there, Jim, and let's go to California's insanity.
I know there was a big raid at the cannabis
place and what it was it was it was a
(01:36:30):
camerillo or wherever Calabasas.
Speaker 1 (01:36:32):
I don't even know where it's at.
Speaker 11 (01:36:33):
Yeah, they're out than that.
Speaker 38 (01:36:33):
Cameria walks on Ventura Plane area. Yeah, where they grow
lots of stuff. Strawberries are grown out there. Evidently weed
pot has grown out there. Even though Kevin Newso has
managed to kill the legal weed industry, and I don't
know how you do that, but he has managed to
do that with excess taxation. But there still are some
growers out there that are growing weed. And they had
a quote unquote showdown or confrontation with ICE, which I
(01:36:55):
thought was very interesting because as far as I know,
ICE are the guys that have the guns, the weapons,
and the assault vehicles. So I'm not really sure what
the standoff is because they should just start marching in
and if somebody gets in their way, they can politely
arrest them and basically, you know, arrest them for impeating
a federal investigation or a federal law enforcement action.
Speaker 11 (01:37:15):
I'm not exactly sure why it's a standoff.
Speaker 38 (01:37:19):
I'd probably obviously, you know, you have to be careful
because the optics they've got you know, every LA in
which is probably considering it's l A, you probably got
five or seven different networks not meant not you know,
not counting national networks and cable networks with drones or
helicopters over the scene and people on site for this,
(01:37:39):
because I'm sure they were well alerted by the various
organizations that are working on anti ICE enforcement operations out
in out in that area.
Speaker 11 (01:37:48):
But you got to be careful because the optics get
can get ugly for you.
Speaker 38 (01:37:52):
But I don't know where we're we're we're giving into
them is basically going to basically help them or just
empowers the anti forces, And at some point you're just
going to kind of make it where you're just not
going to be able to keep doing this because they're
just going to get a larger and larger following that
are going to show up and that are gonna, you know,
and where basically you either going to do with violence
(01:38:14):
or you're just going to have to just give it
up and go find another city. Because it's getting pretty
bad as far as the anti We had the mayor
out there earlier in Karen Bass earlier this week, and
they're really, you know, unfortunately gaining some momentum as far
as shutting down some of these ICE operations. And I
know there's a lot of illegal aliens in California and
there's probably a lot of criminal illegal aliens in southern
(01:38:36):
California and they need to round them up for many,
many reasons.
Speaker 1 (01:38:41):
It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:38:41):
Talking to Jim Kennedy, Kennedy and ssued Public Policy Research,
Gavin is making his way. He was on with Sean Ryan.
I'd know he's, you know, heading on out to South Carolina.
There's no doubt Newsom is running for president again. I
look at California and I have no idea way you're
running on. And he'll say, well, we're the third largest
(01:39:03):
economy on the globe or whatever. No, the economy, meaning
for the most part, Silicon Valley is the third large.
You could probably do a two hundred mile square mile
radius of area up in northern California.
Speaker 1 (01:39:19):
That is the third largest economy on the globe.
Speaker 38 (01:39:22):
But yeah, I mean that is certainly the largest single
business enterprise or very single industry out there that's suing it.
And really basically it is being done in spite of
Gavin Newsom of the Democrats' policies in California, because they
are not business friendly. California ranks consistently between forty fifth
and fiftieth and business friendliness in any surveys that are
(01:39:43):
done every year. Because the regulation, the cost of living,
dealing with permitting and everything like that that's involved in
running a business, starting a business, growing a business in
California is so cumbersome, difficult, expensive that a lot of
people after a while, when they do get established and can,
you know, think that they've got the talent they can
take with them. We'll pack it up and leave and
(01:40:03):
go to other places just because it is so much
cheaper in Tennessee or Texas, or Florida, or in Nevada even.
Speaker 11 (01:40:10):
Insert state name here.
Speaker 38 (01:40:11):
So yeah, but yeah, no, definitely that I mean, that
is that is probably the worst worst held secret that
Gavin is running for president. It is something that he
has been you know, he's inspired to do since he
was I don't know, probably eight or nine years old.
Speaker 11 (01:40:24):
He thinks he should be president.
Speaker 38 (01:40:25):
But the problem is he has so many skeletons in
his closet that will come out over time. It's interesting
because you remember he was doing all the podcasts, you know,
with all the Republican people, and.
Speaker 11 (01:40:36):
Then that kind of just faded away. He stopped doing that.
Speaker 38 (01:40:38):
And then he started going taking more left wing or
left wing people coming on the show, and then it
just kind.
Speaker 1 (01:40:44):
Of well, he was on with Sean Ryan.
Speaker 2 (01:40:47):
Yeah, pretty big podcaster, and yeah out here in Nashville's
he heads out to you know, South Carolina, so he
was doing their podcast rather than having people do his right.
But yeah, yeah, you're right, because I think he got
a lot of blowback for how dare you talk to
the other side, which you and I both know a
bunch of crab.
Speaker 20 (01:41:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:41:04):
No, And actually I give him some credit for it.
I didn't.
Speaker 38 (01:41:07):
I thought he was just doing opposition research where he
was trying to learn how do these guys talk to men?
Because Democrats have a huge male problem, and from everything
I've seen in the last week, it's getting worse, not
any better for them, even with that massive twenty million
dollars spend they were doing about six weeks ago to
try to, you know, learn how they could talk to men,
probably the same way you could talk to women, but
(01:41:27):
you guys just don't know how to do that because
of your policies right now, and it's just especially in California,
it's crazy.
Speaker 11 (01:41:34):
So no, but Gavin, need you.
Speaker 38 (01:41:35):
Know, I thought Avin was doing like again to get
opposition research on the Republicans, and then, like I said,
that kind of faded away. Yes, he's in South Carolina.
Why's in South Carolina's one of the first states. If
you remember right, South Carolina is what basically made or
broke Joe Biden. It made him in twenty twenty is
all the things that Gavin has in California does not
have a very large African American population.
Speaker 11 (01:41:57):
African Americans, I believe, are.
Speaker 38 (01:41:59):
Fourth in Californi after Anglos or after Whites, Hispanics, and Asians.
There's not a large African American constituency in California. So
I'll be interesting to see how he plays with the
African American constituency. I think a lot of his policies
aren't necessarily going to because there are still a lot
of strong family values within African Americans, and he is
(01:42:20):
not a guy that basically uses family values. He uses sleeves,
and I don't think that's going to really help him
in South Carolina. Maybe he's going to figure a way
out of it. I mean, I don't want to shortcut
or deny his political attributes and his abilities, but he's
not Bill Clinton, and I don't know who else is
going to show up, because I think it's going to
be a very large Democrat Field in twenty eight. I mean,
(01:42:43):
the calendar lines up perfectly for Gavin. He will be
relieved of his job in California in January of twenty
twenty seven, so he'll have perfect time to basically get
that twenty twenty eight presidential campaign ramped up and get
going by April or May. So that lines up well
for him, and he'll have no obligations or no no ties.
But I don't know how he's gonna run on anything.
(01:43:03):
He can't really run on his record, because his record
is a record of failure. It's high gas, high gas prices,
high taxes, high homelessness, high poverty, illegal immigration, sanctuary cities,
there's very few things, and billions and billions missing in
homeless funds, billions and billions spent on the Crazy Train
high speed rail, which has gone nowhere unless you really
(01:43:23):
want to go between Bakersfield and Merced, which nobody really does.
Speaker 11 (01:43:27):
Don't you tellent you want to get out of, not
go to.
Speaker 38 (01:43:30):
So it's a mess, and I don't really know what
he's gonna try to run on, where he's gonna try
to remake himself as the leader of the resistance. And
that's why you should vote for me because you know,
maybe it's gonna be JD Vance and I'll be the
best guy to beat the you know, Trump two point
zero as leader of the resistance. I don't know, but
that's what he's gonna try to run on, I think,
and we'll see how that pans out for him. But
(01:43:50):
everybody California, he wants to know, by the way, who's
paying for this trip to South Carolina? This being paid
for by taxpayers, just paid for by the DNC, just
being paid for by Gavin Pack.
Speaker 11 (01:44:00):
Everyone's kind of curious about that.
Speaker 1 (01:44:02):
I bet they are.
Speaker 2 (01:44:02):
