This is a very, very unique episode!  Chris Tidwell was unavailable this week as he had a separate gig to tend to, so Donnie decided to try and find a guest co-host.  The person he found has been a guest on this show 3 times before, is a reality tv star and fitness icon - Christmas Abbott!

In her role as co-host, Christmas decided to book a guest, so she pulled her long time friend from Season 19 of Big Brother - the man who WON Season 19 of Big Brother, Josh Martinez!

And, in addition to all of that, Donnie decided to tap his pal from Big Brother Canada, Godfrey Mangwiza to discuss the shocking cancelation of BB Can that was announced last week.

This is a crazy episode!  Unfortunately there were some issues with Donnie's mic, so the audio isn't as clean as we're used to, but it's still a fun listen!!

This is a great episode and you should definitely check it out!  Send us your feedback by texting 437 375 2000.

available on every major podcast provider andcombined video archives, merge and more on
their website. Godfathers a podcasting dotcom. Now you're your hosts. Two

(00:37):
guys have been broadcasting online since nineteenninety six. The Godfathers are podcasting themselves,
Donnie Desva and Chris Kidwell. Welcometo the Godfathers of Podcasting. I
am daughter to show your book peace. This one of this absence from Mother

(00:58):
to toys Tid christ Well, whois actually on the road this week.
He's working a gig. So youknow what, I decided not to just
cancel this week's episode. I decidedto go and get me a guest co
host for the week. I decidedto go and get me a shiny new

(01:19):
friend. I decided to get anew co host. She's still got that
new co host smell on her, she's still in her plastic wrap. So
let me introduce my guest co hostfor the week. She has been on
the Godfathers of Podcasting three times before, and she holds the distinct honor of
being the first, but not thelast, person to ever get naked on

(01:42):
this program. She's a published author, a reality TV queen, having been
on my favorite reality show, BigBrother on season nineteen and then again on
All Stars. But that's not all. She's a CrossFit athlete, a champion
weightlifter, or a magazine cover model, the first woman to work on a
sprint cup pit crew, and shespent four years in Iraq supporting the troops.
She's a badass mom and she's oneof my dear friends, ladies and

(02:05):
gentlemen. No Hawktua, I'm aboutto spit. You can't rattle this chip
because you ain't shit. She's atough soob. She got that grit Big
Brother one lega because she don't quit. I missed my boy, tip,
but this is gonna be lit. This episode about to be a fucking hit,
and all you gotta do is takeit all, not just the tip.

(02:27):
Welcome my guest co host. Thisis Christmas Abbot. You've always given
me the best intro. That's whyI messaged you other day. I was
like, hey, do you havesomething? And that that top all of
them, That top all of them. I need to hear that. I
need to have that rhyme so Ican listen to it when I wake up

(02:47):
and start my day. Right, let's go, let's go, let's go.
The hell are you? I'm good, I'm good, I'm here excited,
and we're gonna shoot the ship.We are definitely gonna shoot the shit.
We are going to have some fun. Christmas and I were chatting because
initially Christmas was going to be theguest on this week's podcast with Tit and

(03:08):
I, but then Tit had alast minute thing that came up and he
wasn't able to be here. Sothen I said, hey, Christmas,
I have an idea. How aboutinstead of being the guest, you be
a co host and we find anew guest. And she says, I
have an idea, And I said, tell me your idea, friend,
Christmas. So she did, andoh my god, am I happy?

(03:31):
Ladies and gentlemen. Let's just let'sjust get to it right now, shall
we. It's there for the bighello. Originally from New Jersey, he
eventually relocated to Miami, Florida.Like a good Cuban man, he was
running his family business in his earlytwenties doing everything from end to end,
all the while making time to watchhis favorite reality TV show, Big Brother.

(03:54):
Yes, he was the quintessential superfan, applying to be on the
show three years in a row,and finally, after years of being brushed
off, he got his chance andhe took the reality TV world by storm
in twenty seventeen as part of BigBrother nineteen, and man, did they
pick the right year to drop himin. He was a huge part of

(04:15):
one of the most entertaining casts ever. You had the young dude with gray
hair, the one who cried alot. You had the returning player who
thought he got screwed. You hadthe one that was always making out with
Wreckett Ralph, you had the rodeoclown. And you had, of course
my guest co host, this Christmasabbot who forged a friendship with this man
that clearly has stood the test oftime. But fans, this man just

(04:38):
wasn't on Big Brother, na fam. He won the whole damn thing from
undesirable to undeniable. He steam rolledhis way to the finals while labeling everyone
a goddamn meatball. And while Iwouldn't say he was a meatball, he
was not yet in his final form. Like a Pokemon, he evolved and

(04:58):
he dedicated himself to transforming his body. He went from looking like a badly
made bed to being fit as fuck, which led him to making six appearances
on The Challenge. And if youdon't know, The Challenge is a competition
for reality TV stars that really requiresyou to be fit as fuck. And
at the end of twenty twenty three, he popped up on the seasonal version

(05:20):
of Big Brother titled Reindeer Games. He finished six amongst a group of Big
Brother winners and all stars that seemedmore huggy and lovey than cutthroat and stabby.
They were feeling the holiday spirit,I guess. But the show was
fun and corny in its own cuteway. But it was definitely enjoyable ladies
and gentlemen. When Christmas booked him, I said, oh my gosh,

(05:43):
he's one of the best. Yougotta make a goat Montage. He won
Big Brother, but it wasn't asquash. The vote was five to four.
Little Paul was washed. This manwon with the potts and pans.
Barrage, give it up for misterMartinez. This is due. That is

(06:08):
intro people, I know, Iswear to myself. I swear to myself,
if I ever get Josh Martinez onthe show, I am gonna clam
some I'm gonna click clang some potsand pants together, and I'm just gonna

(06:29):
give it it never it never getsold, it never gets it, never
gets it. I hope you dothat still on the regular. To bring
that back, I might have toyeah, yeah, yeah. I mean,
look, man, you gotta leaninto it. It's a good gimmick.
Thanks for hanging out with us today, man, thanks man. Of
course, Joy hit me up andI was like, of course, anything

(06:51):
for her, but I'm excited totalk to you, and that intro just
hyped me up, so now I'mready to go. It was great.
But then you talked with the potsand parents, I'm like, oh my
god. So Donnie, just tokind of give you guys some insight,
my middle name is Joy for thoseand I don't know, and like,

(07:13):
my family calls me Joy, Soif you call me Joy, it's because
you're in the family, and Josh'sfamily, so he's going to refer to
me as Joy. And Christmas ismy real name. It's Christmas Joy.
So all those people that's out therethat don't think that it's real. It's
real, first given long certificate didn'tchange it. So so just in case
people were like, what what ishe saying? What is he saying?

(07:33):
It's not a nickname, it's it'smy you know, my family name.
For those those closes. Do youstill get that from people Christmas, that
they think your name is like justa like a showbiz name all the time,
all the time. Yeah, wellthey think it's a stage name.
Yeah, They're like, is thatreally her name? I was like,

(07:54):
yeah, her name is, it'sChristmas. I'm like, is that really
yours? Are yours? Is itreally that basic? You know? Like
sometimes I don't have to go withold Dicky, but I just think your
parents smoked a lot of pot. That's okay, they did. They did
not anymore. But I mean, you know, I turned out great.

(08:18):
Can you imagine if your name waslike like death, Like no, right,
No, I was supposed to bea Jessica Brook. That was that
was the planned name for me.Yeah, but then I was born No.
Yeah, upgraded Brook sounds like agirl that stands in a really long

(08:41):
line at Starbucks. That's not you, So I know that's right with her
a couple of times, John,we go you get well, I say,

(09:03):
everywhere we go, you get ohmy gosh, we got two co
hosts and the man everywhere every timeJosh and I go out, like he
gets the royal treatment, he getsthe he gets the big, the big
red carpet rollout. And I'm notsaying like oh, because you know,
he doesn't ask for it. Peoplejust love him, and then they're always

(09:24):
surprised at how sweet he is andgreatful when you have us together, or
you have like anybody from Big Brothertogether and we're out and people one person
gets recognized and it's just like,oh ship, you know, people go
crazy. But yeah, we alwaysdo have a good time. But nothing,
man, I'm hanging. I'm inMiami right now. We had a

(09:46):
big I had family from Jersey visitingfor the fourth of July, so we
had a day yesterday where we wereat the beach all day. And then
now I'm here chopping it up withyou guys. So I'm excited. I
haven't I haven't seen you in awhile. But it's just crazy. We
just always we never lose connection likewe always. It's like we don't skip
a beat like we may not talkfor months and then we talk on the
phone for an hour and it's likeall right. You know that type of

(10:11):
love to where it's like, nomatter how long we go, we're always
connected. Yeah, exactly like myrelationship with Christmas, because I'll text her
and I may not hear from herfor a month, but then it's like
we're on the phone for three hours. So yeah, yeah, I actually
like to go m I a alot like I. You know, people
think that because I have a largesocial following that I'm a super super social

(10:33):
butterfly and I'm just like my quietlife at home. You know, I
really, I really am a lowkey person. I have a big personality,
but you know, I think Ithink Josh is kind of similar.
But I just like to you know, I'm terrible. I still like I
have one hundred and sixteen sixteen textmessages that are not read. I just
I'm terrible at it. But it'snot that I don't think about the people

(10:56):
that I love and my friends inmy life. I'm it's just a lot
of work and I'm a mom,so he's just an immediate text back.
Yeah, I do not think aboutthe people I love to hell with them
if they really gosh, I wantto. I want to ask you,
dude, because you were a guywho and I mentioned it in the intro

(11:18):
you you applied to be on BigBrother several years in a row. You
were a super fan watching the show. I mean, man, so was
I, but I never I neverthought like, yeah, I want to.
Well, part of the reason Ididn't apply was because I'm a Canadian,
so I don't qualify for the show. And then would be when Big

(11:39):
Brother Canada popped up, I waslike, I'm too old for that ship.
So great, uh, you knowit'd be fun, but listen,
as soon as they see a sixfoot seven guy walk in the house,
like week one, you're out,Bud, that's it done so like,
and he's got a personality, getthe fuck out right. But I see

(12:05):
you and I think, how doyou even have the resolve? How do
you even have the the the willto apply to be on this damn show
three times? Like by the secondtime, I would be like, you
know what, they don't want me. Fuck them, it's just crazy,

(12:26):
man, Like even you know what'swild? When people remind me that I
did that, it's I kind ofnot that I forget yeah, but it's
kind of crazy that that was myjourney. I was such a huge fan,
dude. My dad was a bigfan of Survivor. I'm gonna give
you the sparks look like the shortenedversion, but uh, my dad was
just a big fan of Survivor. And there was one summer and I hate
to say this story because I don'tlike this guy, but I have to

(12:48):
give him credit. There was justone summer that Big Brother was running and
Evil Dick popped up and I swearto God, as soon as I saw
I think he like walked in theroom and he was like in an I
don't remember, really remember, buthe was in an argument, and I
like instantly watched that. In betweenlike my dad, my dad was watching

(13:09):
Survivor and then like he would alwayswatch it, but Big Brother happened to
be on, and I literally watchedmy clip and I was like holy shit.
Instantly I was like, oh mygod, I need to like I
need to find out what the show'sall about, me being thirteen. And
then from there, just like Ievery summer, like it was just like
Survivor and Big Brother in my houseand I was every Sunday watching I grew

(13:30):
up playing sports. I wasn't reallylike the TV kid, so I never
really watched TV like that, LikeI was always outside, you know.
But Big Brother was the one showthat as a kid, I was hooked
on and I never missed it fromlike that day forward. And I don't
know, man, I just hadthis gut feeling and I could not shake
it off. And I was likeI just knew. Like I remember being
like fifteen or sixteen and I toldmy parents, I'm like, I'm going

(13:52):
to end up on this show andmy dad, oh no, no,
you don't get it, Like I'mreally going to end up on this show.
And I cannot shake that feeling off. And honestly, I didn't shake
that feeling off until probably I waslike top three. I was like,
it's been that infesting, like thisis it, But but I really it

(14:13):
was the weirdest thing. And eventhe first time I tried out was season
seventeen and I made semi finals andI was I thought, I was like,
there's grown man, and I hadit all figured out and had myself
all figured out, and I wasa fucking kid. I had no idea
who I was. I had noidea what I wanted, but I remember
the one thing that I didn't likeown in on was that like I was
a Latino in a first generation. And then I came back and I basically

(14:39):
like doubled down. I was justbeing like the character, you know,
like just trying to be like tryingto give them what they were looking for.
And then I remember my third timearound, I kind of just like
spilled everything about my family and theywere like, holy shit, and that's
what got me on. But yeah, it's been a wild ride. Man.
I can't believe that my like mylife's turned into this. But I
think I always good. Sorry,go ahead, I was gonna say,

(15:03):
I think that's just such a greatpoint that, you know, Josh,
Like people people ask me about gettingon the show, and I'm sure they
ask you all the time, whatshould I do? What should I do?
And I always say, just bethe biggest you ever, Like,
don't try in craft this, don'ttry and create a character. You cannot
maintain that. And they see,I mean they see thousands and thousands of

(15:24):
entries every single year for twenty fouror five years, twenty five years.
Now they can show that they cansee the bullshit, and you know yeah,
And so Josh's story is truly likea lesson of people to be dedicated
and double down all there on themselvesand their authenticity. I know that said
a lot. It's a huge buzzword, but you know, just being truly

(15:48):
you and not something else. Whenyou get on the show, do whatever
you want, right, No,no, Bar's hole and so just but
that's like him being like, Okay, wait here it is. Here's my
truth, here's my story, Here'swho I am. That's that's what gets
their attention, and that's what getsyou on the show because they do want
that, that realness, because that'swhat brings people together for the actual like

(16:12):
what they're looking for for the chemistry, for the story, the understanding of
who you are, what you standfor, and what you want to do
with your life. And I justget excited about that story for Josh.
So if you started watching when EvilDick was on TV, did you,
as a true super fan, startfinding old seasons and be like, oh,

(16:33):
I gotta, I gotta, Igotta watch everything. It's spiraled,
it's spiraled out of control, youknow how it goes. You watch one
season and then you're like I waslike that's exactly what happened. Then I
figured out what live feeds was.I think I was. I'm pretty sure
I was like a software college inhigh school, or like a freshman in
high school. And then I realizedwhat live feechs was, and then that

(16:55):
just like that, you know howit is? So yeah, I really
I started with that saying in themfrom there just firled and started watching all
the other seasons. And then Iremember I used to watch I used to
watch the live feeds. Not tointerrupt you, but I just want to
share this. I used to watchthe live feeds. The last time I
did. I was still married atthe time when when Big Brother season nineteen
was on. That was the lastyear I was married. So I was

(17:17):
watching you guys while my ex wifewas in another room. And then she's
trying to figure out what the hellI'm watching, and then there's Elena and
Christmas both naked, and she's like, what the fuck are you watching?
And I'm like, it's born.Leave me alone. I'm going to tell
you you. Season nineteen disrupted everybody'slife. Season nineteen disrupted the world.

(17:40):
Yeah, I think season nineteen.I think Season nineteen contributed to my divorce.
But thank you season, we gaveyou freedom. Well yeah you did
so anyway, Josh. Not tointerrupt you, but that's cool that you
went back and you were like atrue super fan. And it's funny because

(18:00):
when you think of all the BigBrother tropes, right when people walk into
the house, it's like the superfan never wins, right, He's he
gets picked off first because everyone knowshe knows too much. And the guy
who's an athlete or you know, big strong competitor, usually he doesn't make
it far because everyone sees him asa threat. It's like you took all

(18:22):
of the threat tropes and said, fuck all, y'all, I'm just gonna
roll my ass right to the finals. Yeah, well, dude, I
was. I have to give creditto your co holes. I think Christmas
was like my little guardian angel inthere. Dude. I don't think,
I truly don't think that I wouldhave made it all the way till the
end if I didn't have Christmas inthat house, just because I was.

(18:47):
It took me legitate month to getmyself together. I was raally out of
control. My anxiety might like Iwas at an all time low in the
Big Brother house, and I don'tthink anybody realized that but Christmas and production,
of course, But I think Christmashelped me snap out of that.
And she was really like my rockin there. So I give a lot

(19:07):
of credit and if I had, well new credit to truly being somebody that
helped me so much. And that'swhat it like. You have those people
in there that become like family andyour best friends, and you can never
explain it unless you've been in thatexperience. But Christmas was truly like my
person in there, you know, and she helped me snap out of like

(19:29):
just get out of my own headkind of yeah. So yeah, I
love you. Well, I loveyou too, I'll tell you though.
I tried not to be his person. True, we talked about this before.
I tried really hard not to behis person. Well, the first
day he tried to escape, andhe was just like really spinning out.
And you don't see that kind ofspin out until at least two weeks in

(19:51):
and and but he was, youknow, he had a lot of personal
stuff going on. That's not myplace to say, but he confided in
me night one all about what washappening in his life. And I just
thought my heart went out for him. I'm like, Okay, he's not
crazy, he's not just being erraticor like has an issue. He's got
he's got personal challenges, and he'syou know, he's he's like his external

(20:18):
Uh. Theatrics was really his internalfrustration and turmoil. So that like,
and he kept coming to me,and I was like, yo, broke
it out of my game. ButI also, really, you gotta shut
up, pull your shit together,I was like, but I was also
like trying to calm him down becausehe kept it was just the sweetest thing.

(20:41):
And I mean, like that firstfew days, we just we really
just we really just bonded that firstnight really and just you know, I
had a love for him because Iknew what it felt like to be in
that really hard place where you hadno control and then you're isolated with no
information. So he you know,I would Henny Jenny looked through on me.

(21:02):
That's another story, but he butnobody knew he was a super fan.
Nobody knew that just between just betweenus boys. Okay, Christmas,
not listening right now, This isjust between us. I actually hang on,
hang on, sorry, Christmas. This is just between us right now.
Okay, that first night when youconfided in her, Was it really

(21:23):
because you were going through some shipor was this the Oh no, that
was Is this the move that alot of my boys do where it's like
if I open up and show whereI'm sensitive, she's gonna be. I'd
be honest with you. I wishthat was the case. I really did,
but no, I was really fuckingspirally. I really, well,
dude, I'll be honest with you. When I walked in the house,

(21:45):
and I tell Christmas, I tellJoy this all the time. I walked
in the house, and when shewalked in, there was like this like
this light around her, like itwas like like an angel had walked in.
I was like, holy ship. She was just hot, like and
she was wearing red, had thered dress that she was wearing, and
I was like, oh my god. I mean, all the girls were
really good looking on her season, but I was like, Christmas just had

(22:07):
this like energy to her. Itwas different, like she was just beaming
in there. And I think everyguy said that, but no, man,
I really do wish that it wasme, Like trying to speak.
First of all, I was likethe first people isolated. Granted, I
would have isolated myself too because Iwas a wreck. So nobody was talking

(22:27):
to me, but like Christmas, like really nobody wanted anything to do with
me. So and that was forlike a week, like about two weeks.
I would say, but no,man, she really like took me
under her wing and and helped meout in there. So I'm just saying,
I'm just saying I got boys topull that move, and it works

(22:47):
really well. I wish I'm notthat smooth that I really do wish that
was the case. I relate.I relate heavily to that experience that you're
taking talking about and the fact thatyou were spinning out. Because as as
calm, cool and collected as Ican be, at times, I have
often thought to myself, if Iwas in the Big Brother House for you

(23:11):
know whatever, let's say I let'ssay I was decent and I lasted two
months two and a half months,I feel like I would be losing my
goddamn mine. I would constantly thinknever people are in another room that they're
talking about me, I would constantlybe wondering why people aren't including me and
their shit. I would be like, well, that bitch is having dinner

(23:33):
and she didn't fucking invite me tocome sit with her, so she wants
me out of the house. Likemy mind, I played so many games
like it just you just spiral inthere. But no, man, That's
why I'm super empathetic to anyone thatdoes that plays a Big Brother game and
listen, I've I've done the challenge. There's nothing like Big Brother. No
other show compared to the experience ofBig Brother is like being completely isolated,

(23:57):
disconnected from your family. Like eventhat in itself, you're just thinking,
like what is everybody okay? Likeyou just can't control that. So I
am anybody that gets to the gameof Big Brother, especially makes it all
the way to the end, Ihave so much respect for because it truly
that in itself is way harder thanthe game that we're playing. Just adapting

(24:17):
to that bubble and that you know, that experience is so hard, man.
That's why I'm like, I evenChristmas playing All Stars, I'm just
like, even though I was soexcited to be on, I was like,
I don't know if I have itin me to do another three months
in that house. I just don't. It's just it's a lot it's a
lot. Well, what would youall that turned out? For me?

(24:38):
What you just said, Josh isactually a perfect segue because we have someone
else that's joining us right now, just for a few minutes, because he's
running around right now and he's abusy, busy man. But I told
him what we were doing, havinga little Big Brother party, and I
wanted to get him in on this. And you know what, here's a
guy that knows your experience all toowell, first hand ladies and gentlemen.

(25:03):
Making a run in on the Godfathersof podcast. And he was a finalist
on Big Brother Canada and one ofthe most popular players in that show's history.
My man marched all the way tothe final two without an alliance or
showmance. He literally lost it whenhe stared at the jury and told them
he wanted all their blood on hishands. Since that time, he's made

(25:26):
returns to the bb can House andalso appeared on some other shows, including
Bachelor in Paradise Canada, where onceagain he had no alliance and no showmans.
I think he was the most memboon the goal for Bachelor of Paradise.
He also competed at a pair ofprofessional boxing matches, defeating Enzo in
his pro debut, where Josh wasactually there as well fighting. I know

(25:48):
he's got more boxing in his future, and if he listens to me,
I'm gonna get him out to SuperKicked Wrestling in Toronto and turn this man
into a goddamn pro wrestler. Lastyear, he was on this show when
a drunken Lake House party went wrongand he nearly drowned. The buddy of
his actually jumped in and saved hislife. If you haven't heard that story,
check out episode one. Three.Ladies and gentlemen, give it up

(26:10):
for the Nigerian lady. Please. This is my homie, Godfrey Manguza.
What up, dude, what up? Man? Thank you for that introduction.
Man like you, I gotta getyou to start right in my resume
from now on. Man. That'sit though, That's all I got.
It's intros and then you guys gotto carry the rest of the ship because
I've done. We got you,we got you. You're a floater,

(26:34):
so Godfrey, I'm a floater man, all right. Rachel Riley, calm
your ships from the start. Rachel, the name is Christmas and they are
never calm. Josh was just talkingabout being a Big Brother super fan.

(26:57):
Josh, did you also get aroundto binging Big Brother Canada? Oh?
My god, bb ken was myshit, dude, I listen. I
was, like I said, Iwas a fan of Godfrey before I met
him. That scene in itself wherehe's like I watch her blood, I'm
like, that was such a goodthat's just Big Brother. So I've never
given you your probs, Godfrey, but that was such a good moment.

(27:19):
That was a good scene. Butyeah, dude, I like, I
went on and I started watching internationalseasons. I loved bb KEN. I
think the fact that it's ended,it's just fucking so sad. But bb
ken was just so good man.The way they produced that show, the
people that played that game, Ijust feel like they played so hard.
I don't know. I definitely ifI had to pick one or the other,

(27:42):
I mean I would. I can'teven do that because they're just both.
Yeah, the news broke last week, The bb Canada has officially been
canceled. Godfrey. What were yourfeelings when you heard the news? Oh
you're muted, Godfrey. We can'thear you, brother, Yeah, I

(28:02):
think you're muted or something. He'slike what, No, he's pretending.
I don't believe him. Seems likeyou're muted or something. Bro. Uh,
it's probably his Bluetooth with the carbecause he's in his car. Oh,
it could be Bluetooth in the car. Take your Bluetooth off because it's

(28:26):
it's probably connected to his car anddoesn't have a speaker. He can hear
us, probably, Yeah, Okay, he's gonna he's gonna check on that
and figure it out. You're welcome. I'm here for your tech support all
day. Thanks Christmas. No,still can't hear you, brother, Maybe

(28:48):
turn off the Bluetooth altogether. Doyou think airplane mode would that work?
No? Because then I won't haveWi Fi. Uh. I don't think
you're bye by now he's on networkor whatever. Yeah. Oh, go
to the settings and then turn theblue tooth off. Yeah. And this

(29:15):
is how many Big Brother people taketo figure out a microphone. We were
giving. They changed our battery packsevery single day, so we never had
to worry about any of this, and I still we did it. We

(29:36):
did an audio test before he joinedand everything was fine. I know,
are you parked, Godfrey? Areyou parked somewhere? Get out of the
car, get out of the carwalking. It actually helps if you take
your shirt off too. He's donethat before this show. No joke,

(30:02):
that's sure going to bring this allback. Yeah, he's one of He's
one of the many to follow Christmassteps of getting naked on this program.
Look at the settings to see ifyou're on mute for can you unmute him
your audio settings inside the streaming streamingapp? He's like, what on my

(30:22):
end? He's not muted? Okay, I thought the car situation was going
to work. Yeah, I don'tknow what's happening. God maybe comes back.
All I can suggest is jump outand try jumping back into the link.

(30:44):
See if that helps. Brother. If not, don't worry about it.
All right, He's gonna try again. But you were saying, Josh,
you were a big fan of his, Eh, I was, dude,
I think I mean, Golfer wasjust an entertaining player through and through.
Uh but yeah, it was justa huge, huge Big Brother Canon
a fan man, and they Thefact that it ended is a little upsetting.

(31:07):
I would have loved to see likea BB US versus BB can like
that would have been I would havedone that. I would have taken up.
I wouldn't even have Yes, wehear you, brother, Oh my
god, just a minute. Iturned on the car for the act.
Are you kidding me? Josh wasjust saying he was wishing that there was

(31:32):
going to be a bb CAN versusb B That was a dude. I
thought they were gonna do this bynow. Man. Oh And I think
if anybody was, like, ifany you know, network or company was
gonna do it, I think itwould have been Big Brother, like that
franchise. I don't think the USwould do it, but man, that
would have been epic. So assoon as that news broke, I was

(31:56):
like, damn, so there goesthat dream. The Yeah, because we
did bring in some bb US peoplebefore, Like I think we brought on
what's his name, Jase from waythe season's way back. We brought in
some guys from Australia. So Itotally would have seen that in the cards
that they should have done at leastone season just to revive the show,
right, because I know they're talkingabout raidings, but it's not really the

(32:20):
ratings. If you think about it, it's like there's so much competition with
reality shows. Now you have Loveis blind you have too hard to handle.
Well, I just feel like, you know, everybody's eyeballs are being
drawn to so many different places. It's hard to keep the momentum like we
did before. Yeah, well,BB is such a feeder into these other
shows, like they I mean, they drop all of the BB stars from

(32:44):
toward these other reality shows. Soit's kind of Yeah, the Challenge s
though, like half the Big Brother, Like Josh, I gotta ask you
this. So now when people meetyou on the street, dude, does
anybody even say from Big Brother anymore? And you just go, hey,
you're from the Challenge? Oh?No, for sure, I get mixed.

(33:05):
I get mixed all the time. But no, for sure. It's
which is crazy to me because Ilook I think I look different. So
it's just like people, I thinkmy voice people always say, well,
your voice gave it away or somethinglike that. But no, I get
recognized for both shows. No,you and Chris must still look exactly the
same from that that all right?Yeah, so Godfrey's the same to has

(33:30):
Godfrey got a haircut, he's morejack now other than that, Josh his
hair out and got more jacked.Yeah exactly. Yeah, I feel like
that's the reality TV start midlife Crisis. You just get jacked, You just
get jacked. I agree, Iwent in Jack and I retired crisis.

(33:54):
God. I gotta ask you, though, bro, because you're well connected
within the bb cans, have youheard any unofficial t on what really happened
to UH for the cancelation of theshow. No, man, Like,
honestly, like, I just feellike it just comes down to ratings,
because you gotta look at it thisway. Like Canada, we're such a
small country, right, It's notlike the US where even if your show

(34:16):
is, you know, doing allright, because y'all have so many people,
that's like at least, like, you know, like a million people
seeing your show every week, rightWhereas Canada it's just like we can't even
rally that much to save the showman. And Canada like they don't want
to invest in reality TV shows.I'm like, the UK's pretty small,

(34:37):
but look at all their shows.Look at X on the Beach, like,
you know, like they love realityTV over there? Or is he
in Canada? I don't know,man, I don't know. Yeah,
my boy, my boy. Hewas on the show about a month or
so ago. Mike Tuck, whoI coached in basketball and he played pro
over in the UK. He wason a UK reality show just recently called

(34:59):
Love Triangle. That the most fuckedreality show. That show is is that
show is legit. That show isfrom Satan, That show is legit evil.
Yeah. It's like they pick twopeople for you and they go,
Okay, the producers have decided basedon your personality test, these are your

(35:20):
two matches. One is the typeof person you normally go for it,
but one is your ideal match. So you get to text with them,
not meet, not saying text, let me get one of them is really
bad looking. No, they're bothgood looking. The most problem. They
pick one and then they get toknow the person on one date, and
then the show tells them, nowyou're moving in together for two weeks.

(35:42):
So now they live together for twoweeks. And then they get told,
oh, by the way, theperson you rejected is now coming on a
date with you, and then they'regonna move in and the first persons fucked.
That fucked. Yeah. Also itsounds like, yeah, I just

(36:06):
gotta tell you my boy, myboy Mike, who's on that show.
I mean, he's a good lookingdude, but his dms have gotten sloppy
since that show. Here, Yeah, the dms have gone hard. So
GODFREEZ listen, no tea, butif you get some tea, you're gonna
you're gonna come let me. I'lllet you know, like you know,
I'll let you know if I getin tea, man, Like, who

(36:28):
knows? Like listen, Like theydid this before when they said it was
canceled, but then they ended updoing like you know, season five,
So who knows, right, maybesome people are gonna touch some money in
it, maybe Christmas and Josh,I've gotten a volunteer to come on the
next season, I don't know andbring back to RAG. I will do
it. Josh sounds like he's down. I mean, third time time charm

(36:52):
exactly. That's the third time youbecome an honorary Canadian, Josh, since
you were binging those bb CAN episodes. I'm thinking Godfree's blood on my Hands
moment, that's got to be numbertwo all time, behind the moment when
Cindy with an s through tears evictedNeda and like get the fuck out.

(37:14):
Yeah, Iko was not having itat all. Yeah that was okay.
That was right before our season.I literally was watching that season right before
we went into we were going throughthe not even the casting process, but
I think we were in finals andI was watching season five. That is
crazy. That was one of thebest seasons. I don't care what the
buddy says. Season five was great, great fucking TV. I think that

(37:38):
for the next five seasons like that, you know. But yeah, that
Sydney, that was a good moment. That was a big moment. I
know, Godfree's busy, so I'mgonna let you bounce. But before you
do, I just want to askChristmas and Josh this one question. How
crazy is it? Because you've bothdone the show, How crazy is it

(37:59):
to look at this man here, this good look at Nigerian brother and thinks
to himself, this fucking guy wentall the way to the final two with
no alliance, no hookups, andbasically daring people to take his ass out.
Oh man, it's such a crazygame, man, Like you know,

(38:21):
like look at Josh's game. Somepeople said he was chaotic, he
was hitting pans, waking people up, but he still manages to get the
vote. Right. You get aguy like Paul who is strategica. You
get a strategic guy like Paul, who many say was very, very smart,
but then just doesn't connect socially withthe jury. So it's such a

(38:42):
weird game. What kind of gameis appreciated? What gets you to the
end? Why I feel like twopeople can play the exactly different game and
somehow get the same results. It'sinsane. I agree, I absolutely agree,
and honestly DoD Godfrey from meeting youand being around you. You're such
a fucking You're such a nice guy. You're such a friendly dude, like

(39:04):
you literally talk like I remember beingout like I'm pretty sure we're at a
bar or something like that after andyou just everybody loves Godfree, so I
can see why. I can seewhy it worked out for him. But
just a good data that goes along way, So appreciate it. God
I'm gonna let you bounce because Iknow you're busy, but Yo, you
and I were going to see eachother in a couple man, y'all take

(39:27):
care. Man, nice chatting upwith you Christmas, Josh, y'all take
care. Yeah, there he goes, gentlemen, the Nigerian lady please God
Free mensa. I yeah, he'sa good guy. Not as tall as
he looks he's shorter than he looks. But hey, I mean I noticed

(39:59):
this ship because I'm a big,tall dude. So when I while I
thought I was seven, I waslike, all right, fuck yeah,
but you know whatever. But I'mnot a stud like Josh Martinez. I'm
just a schlub here. So youknow, I'm just I'm just doing my
thing. But so, dude, you've done big brother, and you've done

(40:20):
it in the in the biggest waypossible. Oh. Actually, before I
talk about the challenge, I wantto ask you Reindeer Games. Yeah,
like I mentioned when I introduced you, it was corny and kind of silly
and kind of goofy. But wereyou just out there like, fuck it,
I don't care if I win.I'm just here to have a good
time. Oh no, I alwayswant to win everything that I do.
But it wasn't even It was justfunny because I think they called us two

(40:44):
months before and it wasn't pitched.I think where everybody was shocked was like,
oh, this is what the fuckthe very first chap for the very
first competition, We're like, thisis not what the fuck you guys told
us it was gonna be. WeI thought it was gonna be like a
holiday special and we were gonna comein the house and it was gonna be
like I knew we're gonna be competingfor money. It was gonna be way

(41:06):
more chill. Right off the batwere sabotaging each other, We're going after
each other, We're nominating people.I was like, oh my god.
It felt like a crash course ofa four month season of Big Brother.
It was a lot, but itwas exciting. Man. I mean Christmas,
just to go just to go backthat show changed my life and I
would always feel it's always gonna havethis special place in my heart. So

(41:30):
just to go back into that houseand just to be around the producers and
be around that just all those peopleagain was so fucking exciting, and it
was such a good experience for methat I would I think for the longest
time, I was like, Iwould never play Big Brother again, and
especially with all stars. How itall happened for me, I was like,
yeah, I'm done, Like Iwon. I moved on onto the
next But I think that just likereminded me how much I truly do love

(41:53):
that experience. It was just andit was only a week and a half
two weeks, so it was prettychill. Yeah, you can't lose your
mind in two weeks, especially whenyou've already been there. Let me refrain
that it's it's a different experience whenyou know that there's a two week cap.

(42:14):
The longer I stay, the moreinsane I go. So I'm not
going to say it's easy or anything, but i mean, listen, two
weeks of no sleep, like itis like what he said. It was
like super condensed. But then wewatched the Celebrity ones and I'm like,
Celebrity Big Brothers. That needs somespice for sure, but it was.

(42:36):
Yeah, it's it's almost like youknow you can see the end as soon
as you go in. We're inthe regular Big brother You're like, I
don't know, am I Are theyever really going to let me out?
I gotta say Christmas saying you can'tlose your mind in two weeks, and
Josh's face like, I'm sorry,I didn't mean to offend. This is

(42:57):
this is not accurate. But that'swhy we were shocked, because we were
like, oh, this is notthis is gonna be pretty chill, like
that's how they pitched it to us, And then we were in there day
three. Everybody's like on fucking fourhours of sleep and we're like, oh
shit, like this fields but itwas all in all when it was all

(43:19):
said and done and seem to turnout and just a response to it,
I think it showed them that it'slike, even if it's not a Christmas
special, I think just bringing allstars back and bringing a good group of
people that know already what they're gettingtheirselves into makes for good TV. So
and like Christmin said, they're pullingus for all these other shows, So
I think it's time. That's theone thing that I've made really clear to
like like xets over that I waslike, guys, it's time you start

(43:42):
using your talent more because like we'regetting pulled to every other network. It's
like you might as well. Youguys gave us this platform, you might
as well use us, you know. So I hope, I hope since
it was a good success that itjust opens the door for more opportunities with
the network, you know, withpast house things that would so not necessarily
another season of Big Brother, butjust spin off opportunities because they've created these

(44:05):
stars. Yeah, one hundred percent, even if it's a shortened, like
instead of like Celebrity do a shortend I don't know, final two,
Final three's whatever, like a shortenedversion of it. Like what I would
love to see is like, youknow how the Challenge does rivals and does
all this shit. It's like, all right, do a regular summer season
which is New Bees, but thengive us a shortened season of like you

(44:27):
know, all these ideas you couldrun with, you know, show mances
or whatever. But I think itwould I think it would be genius.
I think it would make for goodTV. I know a lot of people,
I think Big Brothers the I meanme and Christmas, both of us
been very fortunate and unlucky that we'vebeen able to have opportunities and go back
and all that stuff. But alot of people leave it and they're like,

(44:49):
damn, that's it. That wasmy one and done. You know.
So yeah, there's some people thatdidn't have the success that we had
that I would like to see playagain. But who knows. It's kind
of like it's it's like Stockholm's androom. You know, you you have
it. It brings up a lotof internal conflict with yourself, like you
really sit with your mind and it'sjust an on depth that I've never experienced.
I had a harder time adjusting backfrom Big Brother than I did coming

(45:13):
from Iraq. So I put thatout there because and I'm not saying that,
you know that it's not easy cominghome from my or easy coming home
from Iraq. What I'm saying islike, it's such a it's such a
dichotomy of feelings and emotions and experiences. And then you're like, wow that
I can never duplicate that again. And I will have to say, like
when I went back for All Stars, it was nostalgic, and it was

(45:38):
you know, like we were allkind of chill and like kind of nice,
and then we weren't, but itwas it was I was like,
I really tried to take in theexperience a lot more because I knew that
that like I wasn't going to getit in again. We're the first time
you're in there, You're like, yeah, that's this is going to be
forever kind of So I would actuallylove to see there some people that just

(46:00):
pop up right away that I wantto see go into a house and just
like let them, let them popoff, entertain my buddy Nicole Laogh the
Butcher Goddess, who was on seasontwenty four. She talked about how it
was really hard when she got outof the house to get back to real

(46:21):
life, not only because just theadjustment from being in there to being on
the outside, but also and I'msure both of you have experienced this.
I know Christmas has for sure, but fans will and Josh tell me if
you've had this experience. But fanswill see something that happens on the show
and they will just judge you, like, oh, you said something shitty,

(46:43):
You're a shitty person. Oh yeah. Like people absolutely destroyed Nicole for
years after because oh, you hateTaylor, Well fuck you, We love
Taylor. It's like, look,Taylor and I are good. Taylor calls
me on my birthday. She doesn'tcall you, you know, and I
met Nicole. She's actually cool asfuck. She is just very dope.

(47:07):
So yeah, dude, it comes. It's so sad to even say this,
but it just comes with the territory. I'll be honest with you.
It absolutely whooped my ass after BigBrothren for the longest. I was so
embarrassed to admit that, I wasembarrassed to say, like, the hate
got to me, but it messedme up. And then I jumped into
the whole challenge world and there itreally fucked me up. But I think

(47:30):
once you get on the other sideof that, like it really did affect
me to the point where I,you know, I fell into depression.
I really did. And I didn'teven know that I was experienced depression until
I, like I got out ofthe other like a got on the other
side, and I was like, holy fuck, I was in. I
was depressed, and it was sadbecause you would see my social media and

(47:51):
it was a highlight reel of mylife. But in reality, it was
like every single an episode would airand I was getting flooded with hate and
it was just hard for me.You know, nobody in my real life,
unless you're like my friend from TVlike Christmas or like Parl, somebody
truly understand like what the fuck wego through, and they don't. You
really don't get it unless you've doneyou've been in that experience. But I

(48:13):
think it's like once you get yourass beat mentally, and you get your
ass kicked a couple of times acouple of seasons after that, you become
numb. To me, you're like, I don't give Like, at this
point, there's nothing you could sayto me that's gonna break me, because
everything's been said already. I wasalready broken. So at this point,
I'm so happy that I'm on theother side of it. But yeah,
man, coming out of Big Brotherand you truly you know the show,

(48:35):
you know it's a game. Youknow the fans, you know, you
really don't know until you get likeand that's coming from a super fan,
Like I watched every single season, watch live feats, and then it was
just a whole different experience, andI thought it was gonna be and then
to get out of the show andexperience the fandom, it's just scary.
So it's a lot, man,and it it. I think it did
take me a long time. ButI also jumped into everything and I said

(48:59):
yes to every thing, and Idid every appearance and every you know I
did. I really ran with it, And do I regret that. No,
But then I remember hitting a walland I crashed hard. But I
think you just got to block itout and realize, like, these people
really don't know you, no matterhow long they see you on live feeds
or how many episodes they've watched. You really don't know me unless you've met

(49:22):
me in person or know you knowme as a friend. And it's like,
I really don't like if Christmas judgedme, that would break my heart,
you know, But like if somebodythat's watching the show, I'm like
at this point, I don't care, Like you're just seeing Christmas calls me
a piece of shit all the time. I don't even care. Oh,
don't even feed that bull. Idon't believe that I called bull. When

(49:46):
you decided to go and do thechallenge? Was it just because you had
that competitive fire that was just goinglike crazy? Was it because you're like,
you know what, I've developed aname for myself. I've built this
Josh Martinez brand. I may aswell capitalize on it. And this seems

(50:06):
like fun or was it just athing where it's like I just miss cameras.
I just want to be in frontof a camera, Like, well,
what's the process? Because I knowa lot of people when they get
off a big reality show like BigBrother, they're just looking for the next
show. And then there's people likefuck it never again. Yeah, no,

(50:27):
dude, I what's so funny aboutthis? Was as soon as I
got off a Big Brother, Ihad MTV basically blowing me up. And
what's funny is me and Christmas gotcalled I don't know if you remember this
joy for Fear Factor. Do youremember that? Oh yeah, I forgot.
That was the very first time.Read like literally, I get off

(50:50):
of the show and my sister goessit down. My brother and my sister
were like running or trying to runwhatever the hell. They made an email
made Twitter were running my social supportingyou. Yes, they're supporting. They're
like, you're booked at all theseevents. We secured you this much money.
I was like, all right, perfect, and then they're like,
oh you got hit up for FearFactor, and I was like, bet,

(51:12):
let's do it. And then thenetwork CBS, we were in contract
for a year. Mind you,I didn't read my contract. I was
like when I signed my contract forBig I was like, okay, but
how much are you paying me?I don't care, just throw me on.
Like I had no idea. Iwas twenty two. I had no
idea what I want, twenty two, twenty three, I had no idea
what I wanted to do. Andthen dude, I get off of the
show and I literally had MTV calling, like calling me, emailing me.

(51:36):
They wanted me and Jessica for Iremember the first season was like Rivals or
something. It wasn't rival, itwasn't called rivals, but that was the
theme, vendettas vendettas. So theywanted me. They wanted me. The
first time me and Jessica talked,we got on the phone and we're like,
are we doing this? And shewas like, well, I think
so, and so then we realizedwe were in contract. We were locked

(52:00):
in contract for a year. Sothen after that they called me for every
single season until they finally I wascleared to do thirty three. So it
wasn't something that I like I gotoff of the show. I truly thought
I won. I'm going to goback to working with my dad and now
I have some money where I canhelp them by myself a little house,
like I'm set. I never thoughtI was going to turn into like a

(52:22):
reality TV person. I never thoughtthat was going to be my I can
tell you we had the conversation. He was so excited just to go back
to work and he was like,I have so much work to do.
I was like, you have noidea, what's happened to your life right
now? Yeah, I never thoughtabout that in that house sometimes. Yeah.
I was like, look, you'reyou're gonna you're forever change. She
was like, no, it's cool, it's cool. You know, it's

(52:45):
been a fun summer experience. AndI was like, you're okay, call
me Christmas. Were like basically coachingme in there, which is so wild
when I think about it. Now, we're basically coaching, and they're like,
life is going to be completely different. It's never going to be the
same, like you're gonna do withfans and people judging you and all this
stuff. So even having them inthere before all of this happened was a

(53:08):
blessing. They prepared me. Youknow what you call you go, no
poochi, That's not gonna happen tome. That's not gonna happen to me.
And I was like, motherfucker, you have no clue. Like it
happened, but no, I wasn'tlooking for it. But I'm very grateful.

(53:29):
Man. Big brother truly changed mylife for the better. And I
had no idea what what I wantedto do after college, Like I was
just lost for Like I really hadno idea what path I knew. I
just wanted to make money and helpmy family. And and now I've been
blessed with like this career kind ofseven years fucking doing this crazy shit.
So it's wild, but I feelvery lucky and and and and I'm glad

(53:52):
it turned into something for me.You know. Yeah, No, that's
amazing, dude. And listen,it couldn't happen to an her guy and
Banks buddy off air. Christmas andI were talking about this, and she's
like, you know that Josh isnot the guy you see on TV.
He's not this he's not this potsand pans guy. He's very chill and

(54:15):
he's and I'm like, you knowwhat, I go, I fucking get
that. Like and on a weirdlevel, I've always related to Josh because
he's a big dude and he's gotthis big personality. But when it's when
it's alone time, when it's chilltime, people look at you and they
probably go, why is he soquiet? Right? Because they expect you
to just always be entertaining, AndI'm like, I get you, motherfucker.

(54:37):
Yeah, I'm like, dude allthe time. And that's the thing
that like, I think that's thebig shock to people. It's like they
expect me to be on or tobe this character right, and it's like,
guys, I'm not gonna be onall the time, you know.
I like my loan time or evenif it's not. That's why I think.
Also, me and you hit itoff so hard in that house soon

(55:00):
because we were very much involved andvery much like part of everything, but
then we kind of like secluded andit would be like me, you and
Paul and it would be like uschilling and hanging upstairs on the h Like
I like being around people that Ifeel comfortable and safe around, or just
like that, I could be likethose friends that I could be around and
I don't have to say a word. And that's how we were there.

(55:21):
And I don't know, I definitelydon't get me wrong. I like I
like being, you know, thecenter of attention sometimes. But I'm very
much I can be an introvert andI like to keep to myself and I
like I like I say, Ilike to reacharge the battery, so I
like to do things. My heart, yeah, my heart just broke a
little when Josh said that's why wehit it off so well. I thought

(55:43):
he was talking about us. Ithought, I'm like, I'm like,
yeah, block, you know,I just I'll find new blows. Josh.

(56:04):
I want to ask you this, man, because and normally I don't
ask questions like this. Christmas knows, I don't really ask questions like this.
But I have a friend of mine. I have a friend of mine
who's a huge fan of yours.And when I say a huge fan,
I mean like she might print outyour pictures and put them on her wall.
And she said to me, shesaid to me, I can't find
out, no matter how much stalkingI do online, I can't find out

(56:28):
if Josh is attached, if I'mdating or not. Yeah, that's what
she's trying to find out. Idude, that's one thing that I've always
kept private. So you know what'sfunny when you say that, you know
what? Watch this? I gotchat GPT on my phone. Is Josh

(56:49):
Martinez from Big Brother nineteen single.I've never done this Josh Martinez. Oh
my god, he tends to keephis personal life private. Oh yeah,

(57:16):
this is wild. That is I'venever wow. Gott love Ai. Yeah,
that is scary, to be honestwith you, that's just I am
single, but that's just one thingthat I've always kept. I think because

(57:37):
I haven't been in a serious relationshipto where I'm like, all right,
I could publicize this or like, yeah, I've been, we've been,
Like I just that part of mylife. It's like I don't have to
share that. And I also haven'tbeen I haven't been dating somebody for like
two years or anything that long.Too. It's like, all right,
it feels safe, like it feelssecure enough to where like I can put
this out there. But I've kindof just been having fun and and and

(58:00):
enjoy myself. And I think thatwhen the right person does come around,
then I'll share that part of mylife. But for now, it just
doesn't. It hasn't felt like somethingthat I need to. You know,
No, you're you're you're a goodlooking guy. What's gonna happen is when
the right person comes around, you'regonna like them, you're gonna fall in
love, you're gonna fuck it up, and then you're gonna wait for the
next right person. That's how thesethings I have to Don't put that on

(58:22):
him, don't put that on him. Don't get that I have the tendency
of like talking to a girl, talking to somebody for a couple of months
and then I'm like, all right, I'm now I'm gonna go film.
So so Christmas would give me alot of ship and I know she doesn't
want to right now. Is onthe podcast, No, not at all.

(58:44):
Listen, I don't disagree. Ithink that one. You've done a
great job of keep protecting, protectingyour reputation with that and then too,
like myself got blown up because Idated the guy from Big Brother and I
but briefly. But you know, there's there's some there's power in privacy and

(59:07):
you know, I you know, like I I listen, johnsh Is in
his prime. Don't don't put stuffout there that you can't retract because any
as soon as you post that, you can't take it back. And you
know, just protect that. Andit's not about them. This is your
life, this is you know,if they want to be part of it
and they want you to post aboutthem, then their insecurities can hit the

(59:29):
fucking road. Okay. So likeif he's going to ever date somebody that
is having an issue with them himnot showcasing them, then they aren't secure
and who they are in his lifeand that's that's what I feel about that.
But you know, tell me,I've also dated girls that have had

(59:50):
a problem with me being in thereality space, and that's just not something
that I'm willing to walk away fromright now, Like it's just right,
but that is, yeah, it'sit's such a caveat every it's kind of
And this is why I talk aboutit is because a lot of the people
that are not a lot. ButI often find that a man will want
a date a very strong, independentwoman until then he outshines them. Then

(01:00:15):
they have a problem. And like, I've outshined you the entire fucking time,
Bro, don't try and put yoursunshine in your pocket because I'm not
going to go there and stay. And same thing. It's the same thing
for men and women. Women willwant you to comply with what they have,
the rules they have, and notoutshine them or not be a bigger
personality or a bigger success or youknow, it's this weird control factor.

(01:00:37):
And I think Josh has done areally great job of enjoying you know,
the where he is in life andwhat you know, how he's done it,
And I say, keep it private, keep it private, and also
like once you have somebody just eventhen you know, like you said,
it hasn't been two years, Ithasn't been this, It hasn't been that.

(01:00:58):
Your brand is about you and yourreality shows. Yeah, nothing else.
Well, that's another part. That'sthe other part that I've kind of
gotten really good at. I thinkthat people feel like they really know me
if you follow me on social media, because it seems like I share a
lot, but in reality, Ishare very little of my life. But

(01:01:20):
it just seems like I'm constantly sharingeverything. And don't get me wrong,
I've been pretty open on these shows, and I've been pretty open on social
media. But I will say Ithink it was that I went during COVID,
I was on the challenge, andI went through really bad. I
was probably one of the most hatedpeople on reality TV. That's what it
felt like. It felt so heavyand when that happened to me and I

(01:01:42):
kind of went through this mental asswhooping, like I was like, all
right, I'm just gonna protect myfamily and protect my business and protect what
I feel like if they touched wouldbreak me, if that makes any sense.
So like other day, I stillshare my family, but very little
not how I used to. I'venever shared part of my businesses and things
like that. I've never shared thatpart, So like, I really just

(01:02:04):
share the show and me training andthings like that. And if I'm with
friends that are in the public eye, i share that. But I've become
very protective of my peace and myreal life and my people that are like
just my core, you know.So I don't think. I don't think
the world needs to be needs toknow everything. You know. It don't

(01:02:24):
pay me enough anymore. You werealready being the brother there, I had
twenty four seven access to you.I want to ask you both a couple
of questions, just a fun littlegame. Let's do this. The answer
can to any of these questions. You can say your name, you can
say each other's names, or anyonefrom Big Brother season nineteen oh, because,

(01:02:47):
like I said, you're trying toget us in trouble. You're trying
to get a fight instigator. Yeah, okay, who is most likely to
be an action movie star? I'mgoing to say me or Lena. I

(01:03:09):
was going to say, I wasgoing to say I remember the rest of
the cast. I was going tosay, you were Cody, Yeah,
Cody would Cody would be a goodone, just minimal. Yeah, Like
I can actually see the one thatsaid he's most likely to start their own

(01:03:30):
cult, Paul Paul. I thinkhe's done that already. He does,
he actually has a cult. Basically, who's like maybe also Cody. Yeah,

(01:03:53):
who's most likely to fake their owndeath? Raven? Yeah? Yeah,
yes, Raven, she was.She was just something else. I
know. I feel bad she got. She got the most hate, like

(01:04:14):
she had to go m I Ain life for a while. I remember
the girl that's self evicted else likeMegan, Megan Magi Yeah, self selfie,
Megan self eviction. Is anyone fromthe show still in touch with Raven
because she feels like she went mI A. I got invited to her

(01:04:38):
wedding, but I didn't go.I think, to be honest with you,
Raven made an f We talked afterthe show, but Raven and I
never really shared this publicly. Raventhe first half of the show, not
even the first half, like thevery first week, said something along the
lines that I was peeping like shewas, and that I was looking over

(01:05:00):
and that that caused the drift thatcost a drift between me and Cody and
cost to drift between me and afew people in the house and that never
made air, but my family saidthat that was the first real big hit
that I took on social media, and that fucking affected Like my sister cannot
see Raven like my that's not somethingyou can lie about, like he's so

(01:05:24):
bad, because that's something you don'tjoke about. But then it just came
out that she was a compulsive liar. Like then people realized throughout the season
that she just lied all the time. But that's just something you don't joke
around. And that affected my familyto this day. Like my family's just
like we don't fuck with Raven andI wish her the best. I'm happy
that she's happy, but she's justsomebody that I lost touch with, Like

(01:05:47):
I don't I don't care, Idon't know. Yeah, you can release
that and just yeah, who hadthe worst personal hygiene? Can I?

(01:06:09):
Jason? Jason didn't get close enoughto me after he broke my plate to
well, no, Donnie, you'regoing to get us in trouble. Jason
was terrified with me because he thoughtI was hot, so he literally ran
away from me. So I basicallyhad very minimal interaction with Jason. I

(01:06:29):
tried to align with him. Itried to like do all the things.
I was like, what's wrong withthis guy? Why does he like hate
me so much? Because he wasI was hot? I mean he finally
admitted it years later, and I'mblowing his smart up right now, which
is like, what a great husband, get the hot girl out right.
But also, I mean, honestly, a Raven had raven. The things

(01:06:55):
she would do, Oh my god, She'd like pick her nose and eat
it and like, oh no,and her actually, my stomach just flipped.
Her hair was bedding everywhere like herweed. I mean, for the
most part, listen, I livedin the Challenge House for six years.
Some of those people fucking so like. I think for the most part,

(01:07:16):
people maintained themselves pretty well. Ithink we were one of the cleaner houses
in the sea. Were cleaner likewe we we kept up with our with
our hygiene. See, I'm aguy that showers like three four times a
day. So if I was ifI was a haf not and I'm getting
the ice cold showers, I'm anangry fucking giant. Well you can go

(01:07:36):
in the pool too. You getin a shower outside. Okay, I
did that when I was having Ihad trouble because I had to sit down
in a shower, which so Itook a stool into the shower and people
would get pissed. They're like, she can't clean up her mess, like

(01:07:57):
I have a broken fucking foot.Broa were so insensitive I was. I
was felt. I think there wasa Bloopers reel of me just falling everywhere
because I couldn't like, I couldn'tput It was a no pressure cast and
you want the whole experience when Ithink they let me like absolutely not enough

(01:08:21):
meds. I mean, I wasn'tchained all the time, and they wouldn't
send me. They wouldn't give mereminders to take my meds, like they
wake me up in the middle ofthe night or something like that. But
otherwise I'd have to remember myself andcrazy pretty high half the season. I
think if it was anybody else theywould have sent them home. But because
it was you, they were like, we're not going to lose her.

(01:08:41):
They're like, nope, we're goingto keep no idea what their thoughts were,
But there was fans that got hotabout that, right They're like suck
Christmas. She should be sent home. She's injured. It's like, are
you kidding this bitch is doing thison one leg? You should be watching
this in a plotting dude, hottake. I'm pretty sure you know this
Christmas. But I I heard yearslater through producers that for the longest they

(01:09:03):
were trying to get her on theshow. So like, for the longest
time I heard they had they hadout to me for the year before,
but I was on tour and Ididn't even know about it. I was
like, I can cancel a booktour and then yeah, so, but
they should call me back for theChristmas edition. What's funny is we all

(01:09:27):
said that in there. We allsaid that we're like, how is Christmas
not on the Christmas Show? Iwill tell you though, if, if,
and when I go back on aBig Brother or reality TV show,
I'm going to be like, I'mgoing to be the crumpness that everybody says,
I you know, I'm a terrortruella to Christmas. Christmas people to

(01:09:50):
know you, know your heart, they know you're good people, so everything
else going there. Yeah, Idon't need to maintain that public image anymore.
Like I just I just want tocarouse. Is this chaos? You
know, like, here's my lasthere's my last question for the game.
Last question for the game. Whois most likely to say I love you
in a one night stand? Raven? Really this game? Uh? Mark?

(01:10:18):
I think Mark Mark, Mark,I love you think I could see
him acting all big and tough.I think Mark said I love you Lena,
Like week one, the guy wasMark Mark Mark Blockey. Like me

(01:10:42):
and Atlanta were vibing, so wetalked about this. They're like, how
did we not become a showman?People were people were hyped for it and
Mark. She was like, Iwent the wrong way. I was like,
yeah you did, yeh TV.Yeah, yeah, I think Mark.
I was trying to think, isthere anybody else that would have been

(01:11:04):
like, I don't really remember manyother people. I just to me Matt
Matt. Yeah, Matt was goodlooking. He just didn't have like he
just wanted a free summer, whichwas so weird. I pissed me off.
Yeah. I don't think Matt talksduring sex at all. Yeah,

(01:11:29):
I don't. Right. He waslike the most normal person. Yeah,
he really was. He was toonormal for reality TV. That's what it
was. He just especially with thatpeople, which confused me, like why
amn't Raven hooked ups? Like, yeah, she was. They were going
to get married. When your weirdestpersonality trade is the fact that you like

(01:11:53):
breakfast cereal. You're not that fuckingweird, right, Yeah, he's just
not that weird. We love thatlots of I know. I love you,
Josh. What's next for you, brother? What do you got on
the on the horizon? Dude, there's a lot. There's a lot going
on. Man, It's kind ofwild. But I have the show airing

(01:12:18):
August fourteenth. I'm basically home forthe next couple of weeks and then I
don't even know if I told youthis, Joy, I least to phone
another project end of the month,So I'm kind of just training my ass
off and chill until at least andwe'll go off line on those details.

(01:12:40):
Yeah, yeah, I can't saymuch, but I'm gonna be gone.
I'm gonna hit a hiatus in alittle a few weeks. All right,
Well, we'll have to coordinate becauseI'm traveling a lot too, and I
want to see you before you go. Yeah, this is bullshit. We
got to plan this. I gottasee them. There's a new season Big
Brother about to kick off. Andif I didn't ask you guys this question,

(01:13:00):
even though you're not going to tellme the truth anyway, But if
I didn't ask this question, fanswould think I'm an asshole. But have
either of you been contacted to participatein any official or unofficial capacity for the
new season a Big Brother? Youcan say, no comment. I know
you wouldn't tell me anyway. No, No, I haven't. I haven't.

(01:13:21):
At least I have it. Butthat was a very dramatic pause from
both of us. Yeah, right, crazy. I had to think about
it, like I really have to. You know, with these other shows,
there's like a little bit there's somethingabout Big Brother that you're like sworn
into secrecy to the point where it'slike not even your family to know.

(01:13:44):
So it's like it's terrifies. Likewhen I did Reindeer Games, I was
shook, like I didn't tell asoul. So I I like, I
don't know what it is. Butno, I haven't. I got I
mean like social media ship. Butbesides that nothing. No, I will
not be on on this season. No, but they can call me for
the holiday season. I love that. I'll do it. Yeah, Josh.

(01:14:04):
You don't know this yet, Josh. But we're now best friends.
Okay, we are best friends.I feel there's there's there's there's a connection
here. We have a new friendship. Dude. You're in Canada, right,
Yeah, yeah, I mean Ifucking love Canada, dude, So
anytime I'm there, I'll definitely hityou up. I'm in I'm in Toronto,
which the rest of Canada says isn'treally Canada. Toronto is like the

(01:14:28):
most American city of all of Canada. But I love Toronto. It's my
favorite. It's so cool. It'sone of my favorite places. Yeah.
Yeah, I've been like two orthree times. It's been a while,
honestly, I think last time Iwas there was like twenty twenty two or
twenty twenty one. But yeah, man, for sure, next time I'm
there, I'll hit you up.Dude. You have to have and I
will. I will hit up Godfreebecause Godfree is the man when it comes

(01:14:51):
to knowing fun. I'll tell youthis quick story. Wednesday night this week,
Every Wednesday night, I'm involved witha professional wrestling company up here in
Toronto. Oh nice, And werun we run monthly shows. We run
monthly shows that are so fucking cool. But every Wednesday we run these free
outdoor shows on this gigantic patio rightin the heart of downtown Toronto. It's

(01:15:15):
like the sea and Tower is yourbackdrop, and it's like there's like beach
volleyball happening. In one corner, there's pickleball. There's like hundreds of like
picnic tables where people are eating goodfood, drinking beer, hundred ft tall
screen with the game on, andthen right in the middle it is a
fucking wrestling ring with some shit goingon right and it's sounds like my that

(01:15:36):
sounds like our type my hangout Christmas. Yeah. He sent me a video
about there day and I was like, awesome, I want to come vis
It's a vibe. But right atthe end of the night, these three
ladies come up to us and theygo, excuse me, we're from out
of town and we're trying to finda place to go dance on a Wednesday
night. And I'm like, yo, I'm old. I don't have a

(01:15:56):
fucking clue. So and all theguys I'm with, all wrestlers, they
don't know ship. They're going hometo go to bed, and then train
in the morning, so I Itext Godfrey, Godfree, there's three ladies
here that want to know where. He instantly knows like six spots. He's
like, what you want to gohere for hip hop? You want to
go here for the music? Youwant to go? He knows every spot,

(01:16:17):
man, he is like, Godfrey'smy guy when I visit. Yeah,
dude, he knows every spot thereis on every night of the week.
He's the fucking Godfrey. Every timeI've gone off there, I've been
with Aika and Dimitri, so theylike take me under their wing and take
me, take me everywhere. Butbut yeah, I could, oh yeah,

(01:16:41):
dude, and she's she's like inmommy mode. When it's me and
Demejor and me together, we're menaces. Yeah we were wild together. But
no, I fucking love those twotwo and I love them so Toronto trip
now, Joy, I know.I love Toronto. I've been going for

(01:17:02):
a year, like last well foralmost fifteen years or so, but I
love it. It's it's freaking oneof my favorite cities. I say,
we plan to meet up Big Brotheron the road. Let's do it.
We can take Big Brother to Canada. And now it's gone, Yeah,
I can. I can get usa venue, do some autograph signings.

(01:17:23):
Let's make it happen so dumb.Oh love it, love it. After
we bring your games together, wedo that done done before in the winter.
Before I let you go, becauseI know that our sponsor is going
to love the fact that I dothis while you're on the show. I

(01:17:43):
want to mention very quickly. Thisweek's episode is brought to you by Blackbork

I'm wearing, like this one here. And the really sick thing about these
hats they come in all like hundredsof different color. This one doesn't show
up so well because the screen. But the cool thing about these hats,
dude, check this out. Thisone. This is like for the old
school, like seventies eighties kids likeWooden Spoon Survivor because your parents needs to

(01:18:08):
beat your ass. But here's aboutthe sick thing about these hats is check
this out. You just remove themthe patch and then you can put on
any one of the hundred This onesays foul language. You can put on
any kind of patch that they sell, or you can get custom ones no

(01:18:30):
problem. Like, my Godfather's apodcasting right there. These things are super
great and you can get anything youwant made. You have a hat and
then you have ten patches. Guesswhat, You've got ten different hats with
one goddamn hat. That's my reallycool product. Go to Blackbork USA dot

(01:18:50):

out to Josh because I think we'llget one with a big We'll get one
with a big meatball on it.Yeah, I'll have he'll have the BB
one, he'll have the reindeer games. He'll have one for every season of
the challenge, and then when hewins the challenge, he'll have one for

(01:19:13):
that. Yeah, wait for thatto happen. I'm gonna watch that happen.
I'm gonna witness it. I'm puttingit out there. I know listen,
I know we're definitely working for you, dude. And thanks for taking
the time out today to do thiswith us. No, thank you,
guys, dude. This was fun. Thank you, Joe. I love
you so much. I love youfavorite humans. But no, this was

(01:19:36):
a lot of fun, man.And you know what's so wild I feel
like, you know, it's crazybecause I rarely not that, I rarely
talk about our season anymore. Butit's like it feels good. It feels
like I'm just catching up with you. Like I literally feel like we're just
right this and so this was reallycool. So thank you. Always a
pleasure, Josh. Yeah, Ilove you, Joe. I'm gonna play

(01:19:59):
you out. Okay, I'm gonnaplay you out. Yeah, listen,
if I could say something, Iknew that it was becoming a thing in
there, but never did I thinkseven years later I would still be getting

(01:20:21):
people bang from getting me videos andrequesting cameos and me banging pots and pants.
I'm like, this is insane, dude. It's just I remember you
were like, I'm so over it. I'm like, but you did it.
I was over it in there.Oh No, made this legend Yeah,
dude, what the hell? Thisis crazy? But I mean it

(01:20:44):
was memorable, So like, I'lltake it legendary, legendary. All right,
Josh, let's do this again.Man, we will, brother,
we will all right, there hegoes everybody. I love that guy is
my first guest on The Godfather's ofPodcasting. You're welcome I show up.
What. Yes, I love thatman. He's so wonderful and just like

(01:21:13):
I really wanted him to be ableto show what we saw today is that
like he really is this smart, intelligent, caring, loving person and he's
really private and you know he doesa lot of appearances and and everything,
but it's it's a job, youknow, reality TV is a job.
And and I'm just so proud ofhim and he's he's been He's just to

(01:21:36):
be very clear, he's been anamazing support for me during a lot of
my challenges and just you know, like when I when I call, if
I text him like hey, Ineed to talk, He's right there immediately.
So he's an amazing friend and Ijust love him so much. Oh,
he just sent me a message thatwas fun. Love you. Are
you a little jealous that he's myfriend now too? Not at all said,

(01:22:01):
he just said he's fucking great.I was like, yeah, listen,
if I'm not a jealous girl,If you guys want to be two
best bud's awesome. I know whereI sit in his heart, and I
know where he sits in mine, and I know where I sit in your
heart too. You're my girl.Christmas. Joy, You're my girl.
Can't shake this. Listen. Thisis episode one hundred and eighty of The
Godfather's a podcasting. And as wewrap up Christmas, if people want to

(01:22:25):
follow you or find out what thefuck you're up to, where should they
go? Christmas aba dot com,Instagram at Christmas abbots and if it's not,
it's the official one. And yeah, Facebook has been hacked right now.
Hopefully I get that back, butthat's no one you have it fan
page, it's still hacked. Iknow it's kind of like meta is hard

(01:22:47):
to work with. But yeah,I'm excited. I'm doing a lot of
really great business coaching. I'm doingbrain I'm helping people do the same kind
of stuff that I do with gettingan app and branding and all of that
good stuff. But I love whatI do. I do love you.
I know you got your little guythere waiting for mama, so we will
let you go. Now. Hasn'the been so good? He's been so

(01:23:11):
well behaved this whole time. Yeah, I'm muted myself and he's like,
he tried to peek in, butI was like, no, baby,
you're not in reality. Don't likeI don't like to show him on social
media much, you know, Ilike, yeah, I did a little
while, but now I'm like gettingway more protective over that and just kind

(01:23:31):
of like, you know, doinga lot of the same stuff Josh is
doing is just protecting my privacy. So plus it's a little weird when we're
having moments where we're talking about nakedChristmas and then like the little boy jumps
in. It's like, no,no, no, no no, you
can't be here for this. We'regonna have and rewind that. But I
mean, I just love being likeGod, I've always been that way,

(01:23:56):
and I'm not going to be shamedbecause I'm a mom now. So I
know, I was shocked when youshowed up today wearing clothes. I was
like, what the fuck's going on? I'm mama. Thank you for your
time, thank you for filling inas my co host this week, thank
you for doing my pleasures. AndI understand you're actually this is not one

(01:24:18):
and done because next week when Tidis back, you're actually coming back again.
Yes, I'm excited. So theguest next week, I'm going to
tell you is one of my favoritehumans as well. He actually again he
really helped me through some hard times. He's a spiritual coach and he's he's

(01:24:41):
I can't even tell you. I'mnot allowed to tell you who his clients
are right now, I will getinto that, but I will tell you
that these people have literally changed theworld of his clients, and he helps,
like just helps them connect with themselves, connect with their purpose and realign
and read yeah, and Josh togo forward. And he's just really really

(01:25:03):
special to me. So I'm excitedto be able to bring another person that
