Speaker 1 (00:00):
No time to Carell is so near because show time
is here, so on with the show. Let's give it
a go.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Carell is the.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
One that you need to know. Now, it's show time.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Hello and happy Monday. America is turning two hundred and
fifty years old this week, or is it. There's a
lot of debate about that. The Supreme Court's up to
no good. We'll talk about that, and the iPhone has
a birthday. We'll talk about all of that. No, it
(00:48):
is the Carell Show. I am Correl, silvery glad you
are joining me on this Monday, June twenty ninth, fourth
of July weekend coming up. In fact, Thursday is the
third and Friday or I'm sorry, Friday is the third
and Saturday is the fourth. So it is upon us
and we're going to be talking about that. And what
is there to celebrate the debacle of the American two
(01:10):
fifty World Fair where no one attended except the MAGA
faithful and there was a Confederate flag in attendance. We'll
talk about that. Donald Trump has been handed a victory
by the Supreme Court, but also several defeats, defeat, dafeat.
We'll talk about that, and to get things started today
in history nineteen years ago, yep, nineteen years ago. I
(01:33):
know exactly where I was nineteen years ago, and we're
going to talk about that. But first, it was Pride
weekend across America. Yesterday was the anniversary of the Stonewell
Riots from nineteen sixty nine, and it's been a rough
Pride month. I have to tell you, as a gay man,
I could just tell you never, not never, but certainly
(01:56):
not in the last twenty years have I seen such
hatred and vitre all online in the press and coming
from police. The police in San Francisco and Mayor Lurie
have a lot to explain about why they allowed the
police to beat trans people at the trans rally. It
was a peaceful day. They had a gathering in the park,
(02:19):
then a giant march. Then at the end of the march,
they just gathered to party like you do, like you're
supposed to do, and the police responded just with a
huge presence and started beating the crap out of some
trans people. And I don't want to hear all of
the trans people were doing this or that. I have
(02:40):
seen first hand accounts, I have seen first hand videos.
I have heard first hand accounts. There was no excuse
for the force that the San Francisco PD used. And
the sad part is, if you're gay, lesbian, by trans
I don't even know what IA plus stands for, but
if you're any of those, San Francisco seems like a
(03:03):
safe haven and suddenly yesterday it wasn't. And that's disgusting.
That is a disgusting mark on the city that, in
all cities of the world, to have violence during a
trans rally. First of all, a car tried to drive
through the crowd. What happened to that driver? Nothing? Second
(03:26):
of all, two motorcycle ass holes tried to drive through
the crowd and the crowd stopped them. What happened to them? Nothing?
But the trans people who were under attack, what happened
to them? They got beaten. So, as far as I'm concerned,
the city and the mayor owes the trans community a
(03:49):
big debt and it's time we stop hiring assholes for cops.
Can I just say that out loud? I know that
they have a recruitment problem, but they are recruiting assholes
who take the uniform and think it means they can
just beat whoever they want to with impunity because the
laws on their side. You know what, I have seen
(04:14):
cops where people are attacking them and instead of escalating,
they back down, they back away to not escalate the situation.
Not in today's world. And it's time that the San
Francisco PD take a good look at who they have hired,
(04:34):
because attacking trans people not a good look in San
Francisco and it needs to be addressed. And I hope
the mayor will speak about it. I hope that there
will be investigations and I hope some police officers will
be tried for assault. Other pride festivals across the land,
New York, the San Francisco Actual Pride Festival occurred very
(04:58):
little violence at most of them. Any violence that was
caused was caused by MAGA, right wing Nazis and the like.
In New York, police were upset because gay police officers
couldn't march with their uniforms on. They didn't want a
police because of the way the police have treated the
gays in New York. The gays of New York said,
(05:20):
you know what, the cops have been treating us very poorly.
They are also assisting ice. We don't want them in
our parade. Well guess what, we're allowed to say that.
But people were upset by that. So it's been a
tumultuous Pride month. We have learned really who our allies
are and aren't, and we have seen just how far
(05:42):
back gay rights have gone in the United States. It
was a sad way visiting really corell dot com daily.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
You're missing out. Get the podcast videos and the blug
including recipes at reallycorrell dot com. That's really ka R
e l dot com.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Come show time is here. No time to fear Correll
is so near because showtime is here. So on with
the show. Let's give it a go. Corilla is the
one that you need to know.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Another sad thing that happened over the weekend, although hysterical,
the Trump two point fifty America rally in San Francisco
or in Washington, DC, the America's Carnival or whatever it
was called the funniest thing. I was gonna show you it,
but I don't want to promote Fox News. But the
(06:38):
Fox News people were covering it and they had it
up on the big wall behind them like I have Vegas,
and there was nobody there. There was clearly nobody there
in their video shot, there was probably less than one
hundred and fifty people, and they're sitting there talking about
the thousands that are in attendance, and it was empty
(06:59):
as hell, So they were not thousands and thousands in attendance.
And one of the North Carolina or one of the displays,
I guess they had displays from every state, you know,
each state showed what it was proud of. They had
a Confederate flag, and finally someone made them remove it.
(07:20):
So I don't want to hear about how MAGA is
in the Confederacy. In fact, Casey Katie Kuric interviewed a
historian and I was so vindicated and validated by what
this historian said. This historian totally agrees with me. Abraham
(07:42):
Lincoln's biggest mistake was not punishing the Confederacy. This historian
said that we did not shun the Confederates. We didn't
kill the Confederate soldiers who rose up against the United States.
We didn't cripple the Confederacy after the Civil War. We
(08:03):
let them go back to their families. All that did
was foster the modern day MAGA movement. This historian fully
agrees with me. The modern day Maga movement is simply
an extension of the Confederacy and the fact that they
had to be told to take down a Confederate flag
(08:26):
at the America two fifty a flag that stood for
the end of America in eighteen sixty one, a flag
that stood for people wanting to break up and leave
the Union. And they're going to have that at an
America two fifty rally. No, I guess the acts were horrible,
(08:47):
the entertainment was terrible, the food was outrageously expensive and bad,
and there wasn't much of it. It was a debacle.
But what else can this guy do? He can't do
anything else. The reflecting pool isn't backle you know Narcissist,
the Greek figure Narcissist, that Narcissus that you know narcissism
(09:11):
is named after. Do you know what did him in anybody?
A reflecting pool? Narcissist went to. Narcissus went to the
reflecting pool, looked inside the pool, fell in love with
his own reflection and its beauty, And because he could
neither possess nor capture it, he just sat there staring
(09:32):
until he withered away, died, and some say turned into
the narcissists flower, narcissus flower. So it appears that narcissists
have a problem with reflecting pools, both in Greek mythology
and now no one slit a three hundred and fifty
foot gash in it. There's no evidence of that. There's
no proof he's a liar, and that's what he's got
(09:56):
on his mind. So he was handed a victory today
by the Supreme Court, which is the most illegitimate body
in the land. And I agree with Pete Buddha judge
who said if he were president, he would expand the
court immediately. That's a reason to vote for him should
he run. Right there, he said, nowhere does it say
we have to have nine justices. We can have twelve
(10:17):
or eleven or thirteen. So I agree, we've got to
reset the balance on the court. They handed Trump more power,
more executive. There's never been more power in the executive
than there is right now. And at two fifty that
proves that our country is a failure. Okay. I had
a long discussion with chat GPT about this and it
(10:38):
finally saw things my way. We're celebrating two hundred and
fifty years ago that we said goodbye to a king
that we didn't want, a monarch, and now we have
the most unchecked executive power in two hundred and fifty years,
or the closest thing to a monarch that we've ever
(10:59):
had since George. I don't know about you, but I
am not celebrating this coming weekend, at least not America. Oh.
I'll take the days off and I'll have some quiet time,
but I am not celebrating America because there is no
America to celebrate. There is nothing to be happy about
in America right now. Healthcare crisis is going on. Five
(11:21):
million people left Obamacare because of the cost, and yesterday
Mike Johnson said the quiet part out loud. If you're
on Social Security like I am, in six years, you're
probably going to get a twenty percent benefit cut. So
if you get two thousand dollars, you're going to get
sixteen hundred. How do you think his maga fens are
going to like that? Meanwhile, Elon Musk will continue to
(11:45):
be a billionaire or trillionaire, and we won't be taxing
any of his income for Social Security over one hundred
and ninety six thousand dollars. Elon Musk only has to
pay Social Security tax on one hundred and ninety six
thousand dollar below. That's dumb. You should have to pay
it on all of your income. But you know that's
(12:09):
not the way Congress has it set up. This morning,
the Supreme Court said that he doesn't have to involve
Congress to fire the heads of independent agencies, although they
did say he couldn't fire this woman from the FED,
but they did say he could fire independent agent leaders
that didn't agree with him. That is dangerous and I
(12:31):
can't wait until we get a Democratic president who has
all of the power of Donald Trump and if they
don't fucking use it, because Joe Biden didn't, If a
Democrat doesn't step in and wield all the power that
has been given to the president for good, I will
be very sad with the Democratic Party, which I already am,
(12:54):
because they're useless. They've done nothing. Let's hope if they
win in the midterms, they'll do something. But you know,
he's still trying to block the mid terms from even happening.
He lost on the voting that the states can still
have a grace period to count the votes after the deadline,
So if you mail it on the day of the election,
(13:15):
the state can still count that vote, so at least
they didn't give him that victory, but they did give
him the victory to fire people at independent firms or
independent agencies that he doesn't like. That means they're no
longer independent agencies. That means they're now dependent on the
(13:38):
will of the president. So dangerous times, sad times. We
had a very sad Pride Month, and that's why we
need pride more than ever, and that's why I did
the song you Have to Be Proud, which is going
to come out, and that's why I feel we need
it now more than ever because this Pride Month has
(13:59):
been very sad. Industries cutting back on their funding, you know,
scaled down events, events that are canceled, just sad. Violence
at events caused by police like in San Francisco, just sad.
And then we have this America two fifty festival sad,
(14:23):
just sad. And then the Supreme Court starts their Monday
by handing him more executive power. So that's oh. And
stocks are rallying based on the fact that Iran's yet again.
Do you see how this is now a grift? They
announced the war is over, that they're in talks, the
(14:45):
stocks rally. Then Iran starts firing at things just like
they did over the weekend, and starts sinking things and stuff,
and then we start firing back, and that's the end
of the peace deal. But they say, oh, it strains
the peace deal. In reality, it's the end. And now
they've announced they're gonna go back to the table this week,
so stock's rally again. It's a grift. I wouldn't be
(15:08):
surprised if Trump is telling Iran when to strike and where,
just so he can game the stock market. I would
not be surprised about that at all. It just fits.
It fits. So there we have it. That's sort of
the weekend it wasn't you know. There's a lot of
(15:30):
people that had a great pride weekend. They've got rainbow
hangovers this morning, and good for them. I'm glad. Many
people in New York and San Francisco and other places
had great pride festivals. A lot of people did not,
And of course, the online hatred is at an old
time high. And what are we gonna do about that?
(15:51):
I don't know. Pray hope for the better, I don't know.
As a gay man, I'm tired of the fight. I'm
really I'll still fight it, but I'm tired of fighting it.
I just want to smack the shit out of anybody
now that even questions gay rights, trans rights, by rights,
I just want to smack them and I'll snap out
of it. Bam. You know, I saw an influencer corner,
(16:15):
this MAGA guy about the dangers of trans people in bathrooms.
She actually had the data that shows not only have
no trans people ever harmed anyone in a bathroom, but
that trans people, a trans woman is in more danger
of being assaulted by a man, a cisgendered man in
(16:37):
a man's bathroom. So by making a trans woman use
a man's bathroom, you're actually putting her in danger from
the man, not the other way around. At all the
influencer could do, or all the MAGA interviewer could do,
is because you know, they can't handle facts. So it's
(17:01):
just when you're when you have to argue about bathrooms,
when social security is in danger, and all our president
can think about as a reflecting pool, when Congress refuses
to do its duty and the Supreme Court continues to
hand power to the executive, you have a failing nation.
(17:22):
And as we look ahead to this weekend and celebrating
America two fifty. We are failing. We're not succeeding our economy.
We owe forty trillion with a T. You know. The
Show's Silo is coming back for a season three on
Apple TV, and it's really good science fiction and or
(17:44):
science prediction, and Colin Hanks plays a billionaire in it,
and he's building these silos, of course, because they go
back in time to tell you how the silos got there.
And they ask him, well, how much is this and
he goes, it's about a billion a month, and they said, well,
who's going to that? He goes, I am, and they said,
well can you afford that? And he goes. Someone explained
(18:05):
to this person how having a trillion dollars works and
what he and he goes, a billion dollars a month
to me is nothing. It's nothing. He goes twenty twelve
million dollars a year. He goes that I'll make that
in investments and interest. I won't. I won't even feel it.
And obviously that person is supposed to be Elon Musk.
(18:27):
But there was a valid lesson there, you know, and
that valid lesson is we don't comprehend these large numbers.
So when you hear were forty trillion dollars in debt,
you don't realize how much that is Alexa. What is
forty trillion divided by three hundred and twenty seven million.
(18:51):
Forty trillion divided by three hundred twenty seven million is
approximately one two. Every American right now is one hundred
and twenty three thousand dollars in debt. Every single American
is one hundred and twenty three thousand dollars in debt,
(19:11):
because that's how much it would take to pay off
the debt one hundred and twenty grand. If the United
States were run like an HOA, we would all be
getting one hundred and twenty three thousand dollars assessment and
we would have to pay that. And in reality, in
(19:32):
our tax bill we all should get. Every single American
should get a bill for one hundred and twenty three
thousand dollars every single American. How happy would that make
MAGA if they opened up their tax bill and it
was for one hundred and twenty three thousand dollars. If
their five year old kid got a tax bill, if
(19:55):
their baby got a tax bill. If you're a family
of four, if you get a tax bill for almost
half a million dollars, because that's how much we the
people are in debt, and who spent all of that?
Donald Trump, he just asked for ninety billion dollars more
(20:18):
for Iran. And yet they're screaming that social Security is
going to go bankrupt. Do you see the ridiculousness there?
They've spent a fortune on wars while social Security goes
busted because they don't care about the people, and they
(20:44):
certainly don't care about people on Social Security. They have
a plan on cutting it. The Republicans if they win
the midterms when they go back, have already said they're
going to cut Medicare and Social Security to shore up
the fund. Instead of going and find the money to
(21:06):
not only make sure everyone keeps their benefits but actually
gets a living benefit. They want to go. Isn't that something?
Aren't these compassionate way?
Speaker 3 (21:32):
No?

still has a tarp over the name because they remove Trump's.
(22:14):
And he's a petty little bitch. And Bill Maher, I've
lost all respect for He got the Mark Twain Award,
but you know he's the John Fetterman of comedy now,
I mean he really is. He is. He used to
be just a screaming liberal, progressive atheist, in your face,
cannabis using atheist, and now he's an apologist. He is
(22:38):
a Republican and maga apologist trying to normalize these ridiculous
policies of theirs and calling himself a centrist and a moderate. No, no, Bill,
you drank the kool aid when you got your millions.
You've had dinner with Trump. Now you're honored at the
Kennedy Center in during the midst of it's controversy. I
(23:02):
have lost all respect for Bill Maher. I used to
really want to do his show. I used to really
want to be him, But now no way. I know.
You know, he's just another old white guy who has
changed his opinion because of money, you know, and he's
(23:23):
trying to tell Democrats what they're doing wrong. Fuck you,
Bill Maher. You don't know shit. You're a comic that
used to be funny, that used to actually be biting
and have great social wit and commentary. Now you're just
a hack collecting a check and appeasing your gods at HBO,
(23:44):
who are now Larry Ellison because you want your gig. Hey,
I get it, you want your gig, I understand. But
in terms of being relevant, you stop being relevant about
ten years ago. No longer. Watch you. Maga hates you.
Who's your audience, Bill Maher? Who? All right, Well, we've
(24:10):
got so much, you know, to do. We've got so
much to do today and we still haven't done it.
But I was checking the chat room. Bill Maher avoided
the Colbert fate by throwing the right and occasional bone
for which they are grateful for any favorable Yeah. No, yeah,
I know what Bill Maher did. I know how he
saved his ass by betraying everything he stood for. Colbert
(24:34):
would not betray everything he stood for. Bill Maher has
he used to be witty, cutting edge, speaking truth to power.
Now he's Will you Democrats, what Bill what you know?
Will you should consider this or consider you know? Bill
(24:55):
Maher would have sat down with the Jews and told
them that which he is one. I wonder if Bill
Maher would have sat down with the Jews and told
them that the Nazis weren't so bad, that their blind
opposition to the Nazis was just ridiculous, that they should
try to work with them and try to get things accomplished.
And I wonder if Bill Maher would have tried to
make peace between the Jews and the Nazis, because he
(25:16):
certainly is trying to make peace between Maga and Democrats.
I wonder if he was in Rwanda, if he would
have tried to make peace between the people with the
machetes doing the cutting and the raping, and the people
that were being raped and cut with machetes having their
noses chopped off, because that's what Rwanda was about. For
(25:39):
most of you that forgot the thing that Bill Clinton
shame where Bill Clinton wouldn't help those poor people, and
they were being murdered because they were a different tribe
and had big noses. So you know, would Bill Maher
have sat down and tried to mediate that. I hate
(26:02):
these people that just turn for a check, which is
why I'm broke. You know, I thought of an idea.
I thought of getting a true social account called make
Merchandise Great Again, and every time Donald Trump posts one
of these photo memes of him, like him holding the
world on his shoulders that he did over the weekend,
put it on a T shirt and sell it to Maga.
(26:26):
I mean, I can't wipe them out, so why not
make money off of them? Because they're idiots and they'll
just spend money on anything. So truly, I truly thought
about starting a true social account called make Merchandise Great
Again and going to Printify, which is an online t
shirt shop where you upload it and they do everything.
(26:47):
They fulfill the order and everything. And every time Trump
posts some weird graphic like the one of Hillary and
a hat saying I lost to Trump, make a T
shirt of it and sell it to Maga immediately, like immediately,
even if I only made five or ten grand a
week that would be a lot of money. And we
(27:10):
could think of, you know, the stuff to say on
the shirts make money because and I could say that
every dollar you spend goes to help a liberal leave America,
because it's true. I would as soon as I got
a million bucks from selling shirts out of this country,
(27:30):
I would go so start a company called Make Merchandise
Great Again, market T shirts and hats that have Trumps
slogans and his pictures that he does on them. And
as soon as I reach a million, get out. What
a pipe dream? I mean, why not, you know, why
(27:53):
not do it? So, yeah, you know, I don't want
to start this Monday in a depressed mood. I was
kind of upset over the weekend about the Pride shenanigans,
you know, the trans people being beaten and all of that.
But I remember what Stonewall was, which was a riot.
So we're back there. We're back to the roots of
(28:14):
Stonewall where we're actually fighting for our rights in the streets.
We've you know, sixty years almost you know, fifty fifty
seven years ago, and we're still fighting the same fights,
which is why we still need Pride. And I woke
(28:35):
up a little upset that I saw the Supreme Court
expanded his executive power. But they're a corrupt body with
people on it that should be thrown out. Four of
the justices should be removed. Clarence Thomas should be thrown
out immediately, and then the three that Trump put in
should be removed. They lied, But Democrats don't do things
(28:57):
like that, which is just sad. They wield no power none,
which is why they've lost. If Democrats really wanted to
invigorate their bait, they'd start making bold claim like Pete
Wood to judge it there, they say, elect up, we'll
expand the court. You know, we'll take the Supreme Court back,
(29:18):
We'll get rid of Clarence Thomas, we'll impeach him.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
You know, it's broadcasting from a completely different point of view.
Yours listen daily to the Coral cast on your favorite
streaming service. You're listening to the Corell cast driving you
(29:43):
home or driving you crazy. It's broadcasting from a completely
different point of view. Yours listen daily to the Coral
cast on your favorite streaming service. What's the free.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
You're listening to.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
The corell cast driving you home or driving you crazy?
Speaker 2 (30:35):
You know why is Jared Kushner leading our peace talks
in Doha. Why isn't it Marco Rubio or you know,
one of these people. Why? Oh, I was watching the
wrong thing. Sorry about that, sitting here just not talking
because I was watching the wrong feed. Sorry. So why
is Jared Kushner the one out there doing this? Why
(30:56):
can someone please tell me why? You know, can you
tell me why why it's not Marco Rubio or like
someone that actually re elected or is in you know,
in the camp I mean Jared Kushner, the creep that
made billions off of a deal with the Saudis. Meanwhile,
(31:18):
let's talk about a few things that I was blown
away by this weekend. I wish I was blown this
weekend after it was Gay Pride weekend. But a thousand
dead from the heat in France and Germany, a thousand people.
Think about that. Last week at this time, a thousand
people were alive and now they're dead strictly because of
(31:41):
the climate. Now, why that doesn't you know, warrant immediate
intervention is beyond me. You know, why aren't we immediately
doing something to help Europe, which is the fastest warming
place on the planet. Well, we're not. And they're dying
(32:05):
in droves, a thousand people. Mortuaries are overwhelmed, hospitals. It's
like there's a pandemic going on, and the heat waving over.
It was one hundred and seven in Germany yesterday. That's
Las Vegas hot. And I don't know if they got humidity,
but they probably do. Oh that's ugly, that's just ugly.
(32:31):
And so they're suffering over there. They're suffering big time,
and there's not much they can do. Only eleven percent,
only eleven percent have air conditioning. So you know, what
can they do about that? They and that you can't
get a hold of any they're trying to. You know,
(32:52):
if you go try to buy an air conditioner, you
can't get one. And you want to make some money,
pack up some air conditions in a plane and go
over there and sell them because that would make you
some money. Yeah, So Jared Kushner and Witkoff are leading
peace talks in Doha. Meanwhile, in Venezuela, the aftershocks are
(33:14):
igniting fears. They're strong, they're five, they're six. Thousands are
dead there. In one weekend, we had a thousand people
die in Europe from the climate and we had thousands
die in Venezuela from earthquakes. You know, the planet does
not like us. I love the headline at Newsweek, the
(33:36):
emptiness of Trump's Great American State Fair. Wow Wow, I'm like, okay,
I'm kind of happy about it, although I shouldn't be.
You know, I shouldn't be. They're saying, the reflecting pool
(33:56):
is now blue and clear. It can't be. It can't be.
Half the liner is gone, and they're gonna have to
drain it. They're going to have to drain it and
redo the liner, and we gotta pay for that. Why
isn't Trump He's the vandal. He's the one that should
pay for it. But no, we will because we put
(34:19):
the bill for everything. So how was y'all's weekend? What
did y'all do? Did you do anything? Did you go
out and see a movie? Supergirl bombed? I don't know why?
Is it sexist? I mean, I don't know. I haven't
seen it, so I don't know if it's any good.
But they say it's bombing, although it's made tens of
millions of dollars. But since it costs so much to
(34:39):
make that, like ads a bomb, I wish I could
make a movie that made a hundred million dollars and
then have them call it a bomb. It's like, well,
I still made one hundred million dollars, but they have.
Let's see Bill Maher blah blah blah. Billy used to
come off as the smartest guy in the room. Now
he's the stupidest guy in the room. Yet. Let's see
(35:01):
in US history, fifteen federal judges have been impeached, eight
of whom were convicted, the last in twenty ten. It's rare. Well,
rare doesn't mean it's not done. You know the constitution
so that we can impeach the pre court justices. Let's
get on that.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
If you can visiting really coreill dot com daily, you're
missing out. Get the podcast videos and the blug including
recipes at reallycorrell dot com. That's really ka r e
l dot com.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Show Time is here. No time to fear. Corrill is
so near because show time is here. So on with
the show.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
Let's give it a go.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
Correll is the one that you need to know.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
I did some research over the weekend on New on
Blue dot Fever for the music artist and child. Let
me tell you they're canceling shows here in Vegas. Right now,
you can go see New Kids on the Block for
twenty bucks. Granted it's in the balcony, but twenty bucks.
You can get main floor seats for eighty dollars for
(36:07):
New Kids on the Block. I am making this up here.
Let's take a look. Let's see because y'all have heard
in the news about blue dot fever and you're like, well,
what is blue dot fever? Well, I'll show you what
blue dot fever is. It's the blue dots, That's what
it is. Let's see what am I screen capturing here?
(36:28):
I need to screen capture that screen over there. How
do I do that? Change course, replace, layer, video capture ad.
You know, someday I'll get someone that knows how to,
you know, do what I need to do with my show,
(36:54):
because I sometimes I just don't. I wanted to show
you the Ticketmaster because Ticketmaster is just crazy blue dots
for all the shows. But just trust me, Mary J. Blige,
she's doing okay, but four hundred and eighty six dollars
to watch her sit on stage. I'm you know, I
(37:15):
kind of like I was gonna go see the Alicia
Keys Musical over the weekend. It was one hundred and
eighty seven dollars. I thought better of it. I thought, well,
love Broadway plays, but two hundred bucks, eh, no, thank you.
So I looked for things to do this weekend. It
was all just too expensive. I was just like you know. Plus,
(37:37):
I've been obsessing over my blood sugar because I'm trying
to lower it. I don't like that my A one
C is five point four, even though that's normal and
not pre diabetic. I want it to be lower. So
I've been testing my blood sugar a lot my four fingers,
and it does well during the day. Before dinner. Last
night it was ninety six, which is great, and three
(37:58):
hours after lunch yesterday one oh five, which is great.
Means my body's handling the food. But in the morning,
it appears my liver is dumping glucose into my system
for some reason. Well everyone's does between three am and
eight am, Mine's dumping a little more. And my morning
fasting is like one oh five one oh six. Shouldn't
(38:18):
it should below one hundred. So I've been obsessing over that.
Most of you don't know your numbers, don't check your numbers.
I do. I am the other thing I did this
weekend was I was looking at Palm Springs property, thinking,
is that a place you'd really want to go? Whatever?
And I found one for rent for twenty five hundred dollars.
But the thing is, if you rent it, they'll take
(38:40):
it off the real estate market where it's at for
three forty until you with a year's lease, and then
they'll put it back on the market in a year.
And I thought, oh, well, if I had thirty thousand dollars,
I would do the year's lease, sell my place here
in Vegas, live in Palm Springs, and then once my
(39:01):
place here sold, if I liked living in Palm Springs
and I liked that apartment, put in an offer on it,
and it would probably be even more affordable than it
is now. And I know I don't need the thirty
grand all at once to pay for the mortgage for
the whole year, but I would want that. I'd say
I'd sign a year lease and say here's thirty grand. Now,
(39:22):
don't bother me for rent for the whole year. But
alas I don't have thirty grand to go live in
Palm Springs for a year and sell my condo and
all of that, I mean, I could borrow it, I
could put it on a credit card. But I'm not
going to do those things. But I thought about it.
I thought, oh, how could you raise? And that's where
my idea for make merchandise great again came from. I said,
(39:45):
if I really do want to move, and I think
that's how I want to do it. I did come
up with a plan. I want to pick a city
and rent a place for a year in that city
before I buy, And that way i'll know do I
really want want to live there? Do I like the veterinarians,
Do I like the doctors? Do I like the weather?
Do I like the community? And so I thought, well,
(40:08):
then you're gonna need rent for a year, and that's
you know, twenty thirty thousand dollars. And I thought, where
are you going to get that? You know, fundraise, do
a GoFundMe or something. And then I thought, you should
sell stuff to MAGA And I still might. I bet
I can make thirty grand in a relatively short time
(40:29):
selling them these stupid T shirts with stupid Trump stuff
on it. Maybe, And yes, finish that cookbook and get
that for sale, and you know, or the self help book.
It's more of a self help book than a cookbook.
Die Healthy, But I really thought about that. Finish some projects,
start selling t shirts, start selling the cookbooks. Start Because
(40:50):
I really want to raise thirty grand. Find a year
lease either in Palm Springs or Richmond, Canada, or Wooster Assa,
choose its or Chicago, Illinois, or some city somewhere part
of Areta whatever. Live there for a year, see if
I like it over that year, sell my condo in
(41:11):
Las Vegas, and then move, you know, for good, or buy.
So it's a plan. Just don't know how I'm going
to raise the thirty thousand dollars, but I will figure
it out somehow, and then you and I will go
to a new city. Stop talking about it and actually go,
you know, because in America, I'm I'm like most liberals now,
(41:36):
a lot of us are just fed up. We're fed up,
but there's not much we can do because of the constraints.
We don't have a democratic House and Senate. So as
a you know, democrat or liberal or democratic socialist, which
is what I really am, as a democratic socialist, there's
(41:59):
not much I can do to stop Donald Trump. And
there's not much I can do about the war or
the economy or these people gaming the system and gaming
the stock market. There's not much I can do. I
don't make the rules, and I vote when I'm allowed
to vote, and I vote for the right people, and
I call my lawmakers and I email my lawmakers, and
(42:21):
I'm local in the community and very active. And you know,
I just sent a scathing email about all the homeless
at Desert Breeze and today I got an email from
the county about it, and you know, so I do
what I can. But right now, if you're a democratic
socialist or a liberal or a progressive in America, there's
just not much you can do because there's not a
lot of power behind that movement. Just like being gay.
(42:45):
I hate all the negative things that have happened recently
about gay people, but I'm out there voting the right way.
I'm being visible, I'm you know, being unapologetically gay in media.
I'm trying to keep breaking lavender ceilings. But there's not
much else that I can do. I don't have the
(43:07):
funds or the platform that many have. So as liberals,
we all feel like we're stagnated, like we can't move forward,
we can't get things done, and we can't stop the
bad from happening for one reason or another, and so
I've become that way in my personal life. You know,
(43:29):
this weekend I patched my leather sofa. I literally patched
it with leather patches. Now I have a perfectly good
sleeper sofa at the Lake's house that I can bring here.
It's a cloth sofa, but it's not torn or anything,
or very worn at all. That would mean getting rid
of this one, which Andrew bought, and I just, you know,
(43:51):
so I've patched it. It looks ghetto. I need to
get rid of it. I need to hire movers to
get stuff from the lakes to here, dining set and stuff.
But it's like three hundred dollars. So I've dragged my feet.
I don't want to live in Las Vegas anymore because
of the weather, but I've dragged my feet. And that's
directly because of what's going on in this country. Because
(44:14):
right now, if you are a gay, or a woman,
or an immigrant, or a progressive or a liberal or
a democratic socialist, you feel like it's just too hard
to get anything done because you have no one advocating
for you. You're out there fighting on your own even
on social media. You post something on social media, something good,
(44:37):
something about progress, something you know, and you get all
these hate comments and there's no one there defending you
in the comments, and so you stop posting because you think,
I don't want that kind of abuse. So the mood
of the country, this hole, we're stuck in the mud
sort of mood, has transferred itself to my personal life,
(45:02):
where I know what I want to do, I just
don't have the gumption anymore to go do it. I
want to move, but by myself with a dog, it's overwhelming.
So every time I start the process, I just stop.
I'm like, are you really gonna move to Canada? Are
(45:22):
you really gonna move to Mexico? Are you really gonna
move to Palm Springs? You know, I'd like to move
to San Francisco. Do I have the money? No? So
then I just give up. It's like, well, you can't
move to San Francisco, so don't even bother. Don't just
just stay in Vegas. Just stay where you're unhappy. You
can't go where you want to go, so just stay
(45:44):
where you're unhappy. The world is a big place. Just
because I can't move to San Francisco doesn't mean there's
not some other city out there waiting for me. But
when you feel defeated and Maga doesn't make me feel defeated,
Maga's gonna go away. It's going away. Trump is gonna die.
He's very sick. And today he even insulted JD. Vance
(46:07):
and refuses to give an endorsement to Vance or to Rubio.
People are already asking him, because it's twenty twenty six,
who do you think you should run in twenty twenty
eight to replace you? A? I think he still thinks
he's gonna stay and B he refuses to endorse. Can
you imagine what it's like to be his bitch boy? J? D.
(46:29):
Vance is Trump's apologist and bitch boy, and he can't
even get him to endorse him for running for president?
Can and yet JD. Vance stays loyal to him. Can
you imagine? Can you imagine being loyal to a president
who will not endorse you to run in the next
election that has to be convinced the jury is still out.
(46:56):
How low must your self esteem be to be JD
Van's right now? And I mean that, how little self
esteem and eyelighter must you have to be jd Vance.
Right now, you have a president that won't endorse you
to run in twenty twenty eight, at least not yet.
(47:16):
He sent you to do peace deals you failed, and
now he's sending Jared Kushner. I mean J. D Vance
must have no self esteem, and just like his wife,
His wife must have no I mean, how can you
be an immigrant and be married to that man? I
you know, she must have no self esteem. So I
(47:39):
guess that's why they're together. Neither of them have any
self esteem. But the country is stuck and it's moving
in the wrong direction. It's sinking lower in the mud,
and because of that, I feel stuck. You know, I'm
not going out to gate. I don't like gay clubs,
but I'm not unless i'm I'd love to go singing them.
(48:02):
But to meet a guy, I just don't think. You know,
But where do I meet a guy online? Hell? No,
I don't trust any of those scruff or Grinder or
any of that. So where do I meet a guy?
Match dot com? Yeah? Right, a gay pride festival. Everyone
goes as a couple. So I feel stuck, and I
(48:27):
know that the best thing to do is to do
something to get yourself unstuck. And that's why I came
up with the rent someplace for a year, And that
gives you time to sell the condo and see if
you like the community. And then why haven't I done
that money? Look if some benefactor Nigel Farage got a
(48:48):
five million dollar gift from some Chinese guy, If some
benefactor out there wanted to hand me thirty k I'd
move next month. Next month, I'd move to Palm Springs
or wherever I could get a place to rent for
twenty five hundred a months, I'd move there. If someone
just said, here, Kroll, here's thirty grand, go move. But
(49:11):
no one does that, at least not to liberals. Charlie
Kirk got those kind of gifts, got that kind of sponsorship.
Did you see Erica Kirk had one of those rallies.
She wears all white and she tries to look all angelic,
and women just are flocking to these turning point rallies
and learning how to be good women, how to support
(49:33):
your husband, your family and have a career and put
God first. God. Erica kerf see she has no money trouble.
She is such a successful grifter. Oh my god, she's
good I envy her ability to builk money from unsuspecting people.
Her and her late husband. My god, there they are there,
(49:55):
aren't they great grifters? I remember the movie The Grifters
were a net Benning and Angelica Houston and John Cusack
their top quality, you know, top quality. Erica Kirk is
like a top drawer grifter. She is making millions of
dollars off her dead husband and this old tired message
(50:18):
of God, service to God and being a good woman.
And she's rolling in it, multiple of millions of dollars.
What a great grifter. You gotta hand it to her.
She's good. I mean, she's good. We don't have any
liberal grifters are that. She's takes their money, take it,
(50:43):
give it to me, and they give it to her.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
No, it's show side.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
All right, we are back. I was checking the audio.
Someone said, it's not sync. That's on your end. It
is SYNCD. It's playing just fine. I just reloaded the page.
YouTube is playing and it's playing fine. So you know
it must be your audio. It's not my audio. Okay,
so just so you know my audio is SYNCD. Yeah,
(51:31):
I'll double check again. Here, let me turn up the YouTube,
all right, now it's SYNCD. I use the boom microphone,
which I love because there's nothing here in front of me,
but the sound is not as booming as that, you know,
regular podcast microphone. Well, we're almost out of here. I
(51:52):
hope you had a great weekend. Look, I wasn't trying
to rain on your parade today. It was a trying
weekend for me. I beat myself up yesterday because I
didn't go do anything. I stayed home yesterday. I wasn't
at any festival, I wasn't at any Pride event. I
didn't go to any gay bar. I stayed home, and
I beat myself up over that. But you know all
there are drag shows on Sundays and no offense to
(52:15):
drag queens. I'm over. I'm done. I need more entertainment
options at bars than loud music with bad lip syncing
and backflips. I need more and then standing and demanding
a tip from me. You know, drag queens should take
like a server. They should pay drag queens more so
they do not have to stand there and ask you
(52:36):
for a dollar. Share doesn't ask me for a dollar,
you know. So, I'm just tired of the only entertainment
option for gay people on a Sunday is a drag brunch.
I'm tired of it. There are five drag brunches here
in Las Vegas, not one afternoon of entertainment with someone
(52:56):
at the piano, with a comic, with a singer, her,
with anything. It's all drag and I'm tired of it.
I'm not saying it should stop. There should always be
a drag brunch in every city, everywhere, but that's the
only thing. Four different bars the Phoenix, if I wanted
to go yesterday drag brunch, and then the price. The
(53:19):
s Bar at Mandalay Bay had a drag brunch with
a disco after party ninety dollars a person. To go
to a drag show and have bad brunch food ninety
dollars a person, and if you wanted a premium cocktail package,
it was another sixty dollars. So one hundred and fifty
(53:41):
dollars for brunch, a few drinks, and a drag show.
I said, no fucking ways, that's the price i'd pay
to go see the real artist. I'm not going to
go pay someone that looks like a Dell, or Janet
or Diana when I'll spend one hundred and fifty to
go see the real thing. Ninety dollars to go to
a drag brunch. Hamburger Mary's drag brunch seventy five dollars.
(54:08):
I think that's how much it is. Let me double check.
I don't want to lie to you. Let's see Hamburger
Mary's LV. Hamburger Mary yep, let's see how much is
their brunch. I don't want to franchise it. I talked about.
I looked into franchising at Taco Terrian and they want
(54:29):
seven hundred thousand dollars. It's like, no, thank you, Long Beach.
Why doesn't Las Vegas. I guess they're not part of
the franchise. I don't know. You can't find it. HAMBURGERMARY'SLV
dot com? How about that? Oh no, well, Las Vegas,
(54:51):
come on, here we go Hamburger Mary's Las Vegas drag Brunch. Oh,
they do a drag dinner, show, a drag brunch. It's
a lot of drag best drag brunch upcoming events. Get tickets.
Let's see how much they are. Price for general admission
(55:12):
thirty four dollars and seventy nine cents if you want
to sit in a decent seat or have food ninety
one dollars, so minimally thirty five dollars that's minimum to
get in the door ninety one if you want drinks
or whatever else. Wow, And I'm see I'm not going
(55:32):
to pay thirty five dollars to go to a drag show.
I'm just not so. I sat home yesterday. You know.
Trad wife, Oh god, I hate that term traditional wife.
Trad wife. They talk about it like its family values,
subjugating women. Ough, any woman that consents to be a
(55:55):
trad wife should should be committed to an asylum and deprogrammed,
because obviously she's joined some cult. I'm a trad wife.
Oh my god, Ember, have you ever heard of such
a ridiculous thing? Have you? Little girl? Oh, let me
fix your ear? Okay, there we go, so Ember, when
her ears turn inside out, I always flipped them back.
(56:17):
She'll even stopped and let me all you gotta fix
your ear. And she had such a good time at
the park this morning. She's still doing her mouth sing.
But I you know, update pet's best paid. Well. They
paid the invoice for six twenty one. They subtracted two
fifty deductible and another ten percent. So they paid three
hundred and twenty one dollars and they still haven't put
(56:40):
it into my bank account. But they said they approved
the claim. That's her my first claim approved by a
pet agents, by an insurance for pet this whole year.
I've put in eight claims this year and this is
the first one that got approved. I was shocked. I
thought the letter was gonna say, no, we've denied you,
(57:01):
and it said we approved. It should be going into
your bank account. It hasn't. And I have to call
them today and say, so, you approved it last Wednesday.
When do you plan on paying it? But at least
they say they're going to pay it. So there's that.
What is a trad wife, Someone says, oh, it's a
traditional wife. That's a wife that lets her husband vote,
(57:22):
stays home with the kids, doesn't work, defers everything to
her husband. He's the sole purpose of the house. He
says everything. He says what she wears, he says where
they go, he says what she does. But what's appropriate
for her and what is not a traditional wife? That's
what a trad wife is. Doesn't vote, isn't politically active,
(57:47):
lets him do all the stuff for the family. And
stays home with the kids, doesn't work. That's a tradwife,
In other words, a brainwash nineteen fifties housewife, repressed, unable
to control her own body, unable to control her own
work schedule, unable to control who she votes for. A
(58:10):
trad wife is a subjugated woman who has given herself
over to a man completely. It's a horrible relationship and
if a woman does it, she needs therapy. But there
are enough abused and downtrodden women out there. All right,
I am Corel. You'll be who you want to be,
(58:31):
So don't hurt your buddy back Tomorrow Tuesday. It's gonna
be a short week this week because of the holiday.
I'm taking Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday off, so we'll have
shows Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and probably at this day week
on Thursday that it will be taking. So there will
probably be a show Thursday, but it'll be taked, and
I'm taking Thursday Friday. Sturdy can see from.
Speaker 3 (58:53):
A completely different point of view yours. Listen daily to
the Carell Cast on your favorite streaming service. You're listening
to the Correll Cast driving you home or driving you crazy.
(59:16):
It's broadcasting from a completely different point of view yours.
Listen daily to the Correll cast on your favorite streaming service.
Speaker 1 (59:31):
Show Time is here. No time to fear Correll is
so near because showtime is here. So on with the show.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Let's get
