Speaker 1 (00:01):
PGG writes and presents stock selling action that occurred at
the Charlton sale yard this morning. David Morrison's on the
ground to give us a rundown on prices. Good afternoon, Teagle.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
How did we go? Good afternoon, Andy. Yeah, looked pretty good.
Not a big yarding yesterday. Obviously just that time of year,
but we'll just start with the lambs. The best of
the lambs, very, very, very big lambs. 440 to 450.
The top, obviously, the very top end. And then into
the middle end, the also very good lambs sort of

(00:30):
range from sort of 250 to 280 um with the
light of the prime lambs around 200 to 230 uh
but like i said small yardage today uh no rams
to talk about today uh into the mutton section mutton
is very very strong at the moment um uh big
year we used up over 300 uh medium used sort

(00:51):
of early 200s um and just with the lighter end
still just around sort of 130 to 140 but uh
Good demand. Unfortunately, supply is short. Store lambs, yeah, badly
near a wee bit now. Yeah, the buying power for
the lambs has dried up. The best of the store

(01:11):
lambs today, 170 to 180. Mediums for 120 to 140.
And the very, very, very poor lambs, the lambs not
really wanted at all, and it's for $ 80 to $ 90.
And that wraps it up, Andy.
