at Bearwood Station and part of Tiana. Young Farmers, Harry,
Good afternoon, ground conditions up there in the basin. How
are you looking?

We're not looking too bad at the moment. Yeah, sun's
out and just slowly starting to get dry out. But nah,
we're looking pretty good spishy today. Anyway, It's good to
be out.

Are you not too bad? I mean she's still probably
gummy's on the crop peddocks, but it's getting a bit dry,
which is awesome, And I think the long forecasts saying
the same as well.

Young Farmers. You guys have been pretty active are over
the past. We were whisping, hittening.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Oh, pretty busy. We went the meeting last last week.
It's pretty good. We a messive turnout twenty five and
the meeting, so that was pretty cool. Yeah, what we've
been up to. We sent a bit of a crew
down to the Delta Piss shoot day and the team
they basically went around. Actually they ended up taking out

the comp the year, which was awesome to see for
a few of the leads and girls competed in that.
We be up to I did a what Tinda did
a car troll on Saturday last weekend just down Riversdaldy
and yeah it was a bit of a head as well,
and that was real good. So definitely been out and
about as such as the club. A few fundraisers hit

sort of here and there, got a few in the
pipeline as well. Just get a bit of money games
with the bank and yeah, bushback of come to the
party with doing a bit of merch for club as well.
We've just got embroidered the heap of Bush black jackets
and etex and some one on jerseys just sort of
show the label sort of around the district when we're

the representing or helping out so that we're in a
real positive space.

A it's a good turnout for your meetings, knowing that
I can vary as that standard for what what you've
hit over the past, I Spenser.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
So yeah pretty much is Actually I'm Kenny because I reckon.
The worst meeting we have ahead was the AGM because
no Bago wanted the jobs, so I think we had
nine to that and they all got filled. But yeah,
the meeting after that, we yeah, sort of just plus twenties,
which is positive, and always one or two new faces
coming along as well, which is really positive to see.
So no, one's not really being a hermit. They sort

of hear what we're sort of up to and really
want to be a part of it and get a
fit of an approachable club as well. Always helps.

Are people actually scared of going to a GMS given
they may get a job? Do you see? Do you
find that?

When I was sort of twenty, I tried to avoid
them on the plague and I don't want to odd
wanting anything to do with them. But nah, they're not
that bad. And if you've got a really good support
crew around you are a really good exec team. It's
a really good way to slowly introduce yourself into some
of those leadership roles through Young Farmers Net. Always in
the future, trackdown and to and to work opportunities as well.

Now the pissed show. I hope this written down as pitch,
but I put the use on the edge because that's

Day it was a bit of a bugger that they
Belford decided to run that on Stag Day. I think

about that sort of color. But that's what it is.
But yet the people that did Darcy, jack Edlin Wilson,
a lot of those leads, Jackie vost Year, they all

got amongst it. And yeah, I had a real good
couple of days of the day if they have a
spotlighting and he gave the basement a bit of a
clean up. So no, it was really good.

and says Stag Day is some petty day for south

Yeah, no, that's definitely a sleep on my hands for Balfa.

Oh, we hadn't done revelions. I think we actually did

Wasn't mine? Anyway? There took three years, two and a
half three years. That was wicked sort of round Otama,
Alfa's Lambs and Saint Petty's. Yeah, no, real, good day afternoon.

You still ever told me the vehicle you were cruising in.

So what's happening on the horizon for you guys bearing
in minded Us coming up to lambing slash carving season.
But you guys make an effort to catch up every
couple of weeks, even during the busy season.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, we try and make it work. Usually love so
you can't land at nighttime stuff. We do have a
catch up. We try and do it then the club.
But what do we going on the Tiger south Wind?
Actually they're actually running a z Interia all night down
a Mandiville. That's on the twenty second, So that's just
all around, like well handling and the shed sort of knowledge.

That's going to be a lot of that open time.
So that's going to be really good for people in
the sheds that such when sharing's going on, whether they're
doing it sort of prelim there or that Christmas time
through the Febry, it's going to be Yeah, a lot
of knowledge has been learned at that sort of night. Yeah,
twenty ninth, that'll be sort of our big one. That's

what we think. We're taking about eighteen of us down
to the terrace barkup so dead people in town there
haven't actually ventured over the gorge in a long time,
so it'd be good to get them out and about
and see the rest of the country potentially. But got it.
We've got a new dog trailer this year, so definitely
want to try and get that out and about. I
think it's getting sended up tonight.

I heard all about that the other day. Actually, it
sounds like an interesting train contraption you've got to set
up there.

Yeah, no, it's it's unique. It's definitely got a warrant,
it's definitely registered. But that's going to be good. I
think we can get the twelve thirty our dogs in there,
so that should be awesome. Yeah, if anyone wants to
hire us sharing ben take up there, we promise we'll
look after it. They'll be audio as well, will.

You'll be surprised how many places do have a vent that. Yeah,
you're quite happy to hire out. So you should get
a couple of boys to be someone on the basin
with the spear of fifteen sailer.

Yeah, surely. The rugby bus, yeah, the rugby bus. Yeah, no,
there was another trip we did, yeah, and Carlos and
with the Channel Rugby clubs. We yeah, managed to rope
enough people to jump on the fully bus and have
a trip down there. I'm not too sure how we
got back, but it was quite put it that way.

And looking to the future, you guys, you've got your
back up in October.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, October. Yeah, so that's another event that we're going
to run. Pretty excited about that. And we're coming into
a fourth year run and that and that the Sames
Week bigger and bigger, so that'll be at the same venue.
I don't going to have a bit of a mix up.
I hear a rumor that we've got a pretty handy
MC coming to run that cutter for us if you
know them, Yeah, I'll put.

The word to the ground for you to see what
he's like, see how questionable he is.

Yeah, yeah, but no, we're we're really excited about it
this year. So I think the money raised this year
is going to be going to the help of the
mayor swimming pool. So just another just in the base,
and we sort of like to support as well. The
last couple of years we've been donating money money to

search and rescue and marine search and rescue, So I
always like to always like to go back to clubs
and such on the base in there.

Oh, pretty much just jump on the socials either on

chairman Isiley Edgkin a bit of a bell. She's pretty
friendly to talk to, even if it's outside of our
meeting sort of thing. You more than welcome to come

come to one of our events and catch up with
us there you want him get a free show out
of it as well. But real good, friendly bunch. I
