The Broncos arguably did the competition to favor last night
betting the Panthers, so there's an opportunity to try and
claw away at the first place.

wins this year are really a huge opportunity to get

of a banana skin, the Titans and sixteenth and then Panthers, Broncos, Bunnies, Knights, Eagles.
Four out of five of those teams are in the
top eight, so these wins are huge for not just
trying to win that minor premiership, but staying in that
top four. So you do have that lucky loser spot

in the first round of the playoffs.

And her history determines if you're not in the top four,
then arguably you're not going to win the competition.

Yeah, exactly that, and you just got to it's gone
of the days for Warriors as a team and the
fan base where top eight is good enough for a season.
With how we've been this year pretty much being in
the top four since round one, sort of the goals
are high. It's not just sort of getting into that

top four. It is making the elimination of the prelim
finals and it is a Grand Final and hopefully winning that.
But we've seen with the competition this week that no
games are easy. You can slip up against the West Tigers,
you can slip up against the Broncos or anything in
the NRAL. It's a fantastic comp for any team.

Came on the day kirk Kate well, he's extended for
another year and this is showing that the trend is
being back to Australia's finding excuses to go back to
their own side of the ditch.

Yeah, yeah, huge to get kirk Kate will back and
he'll be back in the lineup after Origin Judy with
Mitch Barnett the co captain. So yeah, great, great that is,
And yeah, it's a tough one with the sort of

heading back to Australia to play for the Broncos next year,
but he does have a son that's quite unwell, so

And I'm fine when there's stories like that when there

kind of feels like it is sort of moving away
from that and the club has sort of that stuff out.

And Kirk Kate, while he is an absolute beloved player,
now he's he's getting a bit of a sense that
he is kind of there a bit like Steve Price
back in the day when he was in the Warriors
and captaining the side has.

see Luke Metcalfe back in first grade? I I'm very
surprised he hasn't been in first grade yet, but the

he is available to play and I think can sort

Yeah, if you, I think the French game was an
interesting one. They first had out only ten days in camp.
You kind of expect that the French always sort of
grow another leg when they play the All Blacks. Italy
last week terrible forty minutes, but then it's sort of
unbelievable twenty minutes to start the second half by the side. Yeah,

they play a lot more exciting brand of football now,
don't they way less kicks? I think they I need
to had seventeen kicks against Italy, which was less than fifty.
I think in the South Africa game they had about
forty one. So that's showing that they want to keep
possession of the ball. And yeah, a huge game and
added to it obviously playing at eden Park, trying to

keep that unbeaten run at Eden Park which dates back
to what the French and nineteen ninety four to fifty
two odd games. So yeah, it's going to be a
really interesting game. I think the All Blacks will do
it this. This will be the game where they really
stand out. I believe Ireland haven't. They're not the same
island from the last sort of eight years with the

Joe Schmidt stuff and the Owen Farrell when they were
leading the team. Yeah, I think the All Blacks will
will win this one by twelve and over.

Now the faith of World Cup ingram gets France is
not coming home to the UK where you all know
about that. Spain, Argentina has been the grand finale though
that this is a pretty worthy final.

Yeah, unbelievable. What a game it was yesterday for Argentina
to come back from one nil down with what five
minutes left in regulation to win that two to one. Yeah,
it's it's amazing what Argentina they have been able to do.
You can just see that all of their players are
just playing for Messi. They want him to get that
second World Cup. Really put himself arguably the greatest footballer

of all time if he can do that. Spain, on
the other hand, they've only let in one goal in
the whole tournament. They've lost a game since March of
twenty twenty four, are in a thirty seven game unbeaten
streak as well. So they're the European champions. So they
will be going into the final on Monday morning, New
Zealand time as favorites. But Argentina, like water run. They

haven't read an interesting stat yesterday after the semi final
win that in their four elimination games the last thirty two,
last sixteen, quarterfinals and semifinals, they haven't led in regular time.
They've gone to extra time on three different occasions, and
then they scored two late goals to beat England yesterday,

So not even leading a game for the first ninety
minutes in an elimination game is pretty incredible to come
away with those four victories.

Has the tournament grossed the imagination of the viewing public,
given it's been an expanded competition, would you say?

And I think for us in New Zealand it's the
time zone. It's one of those World Cups that's been
brilliant for us is most of the time it's what
seven am, eleven, one o'clock in the afternoon, Like we're
so used to a World Cup being you've got to
set your alarm at three in the morning to watch
the final or whatever it's. It's happening throughout the night.
So I think that helps TV and Z as well,

having having it on their platform. And what forty four
dollars forty four to fifty or whatever it was for
the one hundred and four hundred and five games has
been has been awesome? And no, it's been And I
