Pretty spoiled at the moment, let's be honest.

Oh no, actually yeah them to this morning is very
very mild and yeah just talking of here and in
the tympans for the week or as you give reasonbly
warm ay, So it's really good for this time there.

I'm seeing nothing over the next even seven to ten
days that indicates anything's going to change. It's not to
say at will and it's a very fickable game when
you're talking about the weather. But same old story. You
can only play what's in front of you. And it's
looking pretty deader. I mean, no overnight lows below two
degrees over the next seven days.

You know, it's it's good a sleep, but it would
be nice to get winter. And winter's absolutely yeah, and
hopefully it's not something means something from the spring a
so yeah, but anyhead will take what would take what
it is at the moment.

Yeah, you can just live for the moment.

But I suppose the grass is still taking away, just
quietly when it's like this, So.

Yeah, the petics that we got true out with it
earlier on in there, you're just taken away slowly. So
I'm just just looking at the lawns and you know
it might be good chance to give. We know we
never hitcut probably, so you know, things are just ticking
over quite nastly.

I've never heard so many law moders going for June
over the past couple of days. It's unbelievable. But I
was talking about this the other day, the silence it's
being made only about ten days ago as well. It's
you could almost say unprecedented, which is an overstated word,
but far out we're into winter.

Yeah, absoutely. Yeah, So it's a saying that mother nature
always provides on it. So it might have been myself
of them particularly, it might have been we were sort
of feed winter crop wise, feed bage worse. But yeah,
with a nice mold late autumn we had it. Yeah,
that's sort of caught up again.

Yeah, we know what they say, mother nature give us,
mother nature take us away. But we're certainly enjoying what
we have at the moment. I mean, for you there,
you'll be into winter mode now pretty much.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
You know, one of the days, everything's on crap and pads,
so we're just yeah, just been bailagy out and whatever.
So it's just you're just quite cruisy at the moment.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Everything's on top of the ground doing your transitioning onto
crops and that you couldn't ask for anything.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Better now, it's yeah, it's definitely a great start to
the it's great start to winter.

rally buff.

We know this, and you're talking about being up in
Canterbury at the weekend. This is one of your passions.
I Suppose, isn't it You've just got on board this
over the last year or two.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yeah, I just got on board with that or the
last last winter, last season. So yeah, no, it's quite
draw worth getting out about and get on some roads
that you haven't seen before. And yeah, no it's good.
You have a good look around at tom day. So no,
it's a good call to be evolving.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Now the people who are unaware of the team that
you're involved with, let's give us some details.

So yeah, sort of, I'm just being being the boy really,
so I'm getting told what to do, refuel in the car,
clean the windows, pull tires off, what's their car on.
So we've got we've got two cars that we are
service force. I think the service crew of normally around
five maybe something. That's or two cars that's actually pretty

good going. Yeah, so it's just one car. Caleb McDonald
he was car number seven this last weekend, and then
Kevin Leard he was car twenty two, so about fifteen
minutes apart some night. So it just gives us a
bit we we breather in between that not much.

This might sound like a rookie question, but when you're
already fueling a really car. Is it a Jerry Cat?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
What do you do?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, yeah, so we just use just Jerry canswer. Sometimes
there might only be ten leaders and sometimes twenty or
just depends on how far they're going to go between
each each stage or how long the full stoppers. It
just varies very we it so yeah, no, it's it's
it's yeah, it's quite good fun.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
What are they run on? Ninety five?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Different different mixes? Caleber' he's got a new new car
this year since he rolled it last year, and so
his new engine is one one hundred octane and I
think Kevin Leard he's just running on ninety five. So
it does depend on how the engines tuned in two
for what just.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Depends really insurance on a rally car.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
It's you're insured for some things but not others. Just
elaborate on this. It's fascinating.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yeah. So actually, so the cars failing away, the cars
aren't insured for when they're actually racing. So that's all
on the father cress on on on the stage, that's
on the on the owner to prepare it if there's
an accident that happens on the road. Just talk between stages,
touring or going from the house to workshop something that

it's all in short for that purpose, but just not
for racing purposes.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
You have you taped it on the open road though,
just to give it a bit of jaandle, wouldn't you.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Yeah, yeah, Well, when they're actually touring between stages there
on feting what they call it, they rest control can
see if they've been speeding, so they've actually got to
stick to speed limits and obade boy or the red
rules as they're touring. So and if they if they
get caught, not by the police, but if they get

more rest control, they are they penalized.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
You're at fishing gear here this warmer weather. You teended
to go back into the sounds.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Absolutely, but unfortunately a trailer is coming up I think
it should be up now actually gets apeaced under it,
so I can't get in there for the next little bit, sir.
So what I have to get the other way and
go into the straight wall. That's what's a warm and cam.
But I haven't been out for quite a while. It's Lisa,
it's probably very good, get very close.

Seriously, So I'm being lucky enough. Why haven't actually come

But as a fisherman, though, do you not think it
would be always like a ride of passage to see
a shark go cruising underneath the boat if you're not
getting in the water.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Yeah, they're defe a round when you're out fishing there,
but they come around the boat when you're fishing in
the wall to carry on. So yeah that when I'm diving,
I just don't worry about it. I just put the
head of the back of my mind and figured about
it and hopefully I don't have a puss.

That's why I said, when you're out of the water,
not in the water.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah, exactly, So, yeah.
