And good Friday morning, America and Oklahoma. I help, everybody's
having a great Friday so far. And I just realized
I did a good double capital letter on Shumer. But
it's been one of those mornings. So sorry for the
delayed start. We were having a bit of a grimlin
handoff issue. Because I realized after that we burned ten
(10:13):
minutes with Brad the other day. I was like, you
know what, I think. I think I'm just gonna start
doing the win the Weekend News round Up in a
different channel. So that way, if I have to do
a quick reset on the router, since I have a
newer winter and that spins up fast, we won't lose
any time. But anyway, so we're here, we're live. So yes,
for those of you that like the Weekend News round Up,
you'll have to change feeds because we're gonna start doing
it separately. For for several reasons. One, I am behind
(10:36):
on chopping the third Hour and putting it in its
own place, So this just makes my life easier in
the long run. I think I'm just gonna I'm gonna
go through and find some of the ones I really
liked it we've done already, grab those and then just
kind of start fresh with this new round. Anyway, so
we're here, we're live, and it is Friday. I'm gonna
turn this back up for a second. It's almost done. Anyway.
(10:58):
I love the guitar part, all right, So welcome back
(11:25):
into the program. I know, I never really left, but
I did turn my intro back up for a second.
So funny thing about that intro. So for those of
you that are local around here, you've heard the story before,
you know that in twenty eighteen, I very nearly started
being paid by a local radio station to do a
morning show this close. They wound up going with a
guy from another division within the company, so they didn't
(11:45):
have to shell out any more money. They just reclassified
his paycheck. Luckily for me, that job fell through, though,
because most of the folks that were there at the
time aren't there anymore. There's one guy who does the
afternoon's drivetime slot who's still there because he's got folks
that are willing to pay for his airtime. Otherwise he
probably wouldn't be there anymore either. But the reason I
(12:06):
say that is because when we were finalizing everything and
I and then it was between me and one other guy,
I started sending them over samples of what I wanted
to use for the morning intro. And it was going
to be the riff from Saddle Up Your Horses, because
you know, Morning Joe and Oklahoma why not. So the
funny thing is that if you listen to that guitar
(12:29):
riff in the in the newest version of my intro,
it's very similar, and I'm not even sure how I
got that way, because I didn't tell GPT to add
that flavor in there. So for those of you who
are wondering how I am suddenly putting out music and
music videos, it's through Suno and Canva because GPT is
actually able to talk to each and both of those
(12:51):
things and tell them basically tell me how to tell
them what I'm looking for. But I didn't tell GPT
to add that flavor part in there, So the fact
that it kind of showed up on its own just,
I don't know. It's one of those one of those
mind blowing moments because it's kind of like, what, I
didn't even tell you that I wanted that in there anyway.
(13:13):
So welcome into the Rick Robinson Shoe. It is the
Friday edition. We are in what day seventeen of the
Schumer shut down shakedown, and things are getting interesting all
over because apparently the Democrats are getting a little mad
about a certain you know had that's playing in airports,
So we're going to get into all that. So we've
(13:34):
got TPUSA and Oklahoma the governor speaking about it, which
they did actually keep this appearance even though they canceled
one previously from about a week or so ago. I
really need to find my own version of Johnny so
I can start sending somebody out to grab sound bites
and stuff from local stuff, because as much as I
would love to be there on the scene, I'm constantly
doing stuff behind the scenes here at home base. So
(13:56):
I need to find a Johnny. That would have been
great to come back with some live local footage to
mix into today's show. But I actually didn't even think
about it until now, and not to mention the fact
that I don't have my own version of Johnny, which
is funny because the guy that has Johnny used to
(14:17):
be another guy's Jesse. Yeah, you guys know what I'm
talking about. Anyway, So let's go ahead and get started.
So again, welcome into the program, ladies and gentlemen. It
is Friday, October seventeenth. We are over halfway through the
month of October. Let's not forget next Friday. So a
week from today, we have eight thirty pm Eastern seven
(14:41):
thirty pm Gods time zone. The day the Earth stood Still.
You're gonna see some folks in or you're gonna hear
some folks in the play that you may not have
heard of one of our plays in a while. Some
of the veteran folks are back. I do encourage you
to check it out. If you can't make it live,
we will have a podcast version, but trust me, it's
not nearly a much fun. Again. That is Kalon Radio
(15:02):
Players presents The Day the Year Stood Still, our fall play,
and that is of course lined up with our Spooky season,
because Spooky Season's a big deal here Kalon Radio, which
I forgot how big of a deal until I started
pulling a juxtaposition every week for the last several weeks
and getting ready for my part in this play and
everything else. And it was like, I'm ready for a
(15:25):
day off. But I love you all anyway, so let's
get started. Officially. I know I did one of the
livelies early, but that's all right. That deserves promotion as
much as possible because it's awesome.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
It's awesome.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I cannot believe we do we do radio plays because
I've said this before, but I never even told anybody
I wanted to start doing radio plays. And it was
something that was kind of on my heart and mind
when my marriage blew up and I came back from
you know, all of that, to basically find out that
they had started it without me. All right, So here
(16:04):
we go. So half the government's closed, the other half's
getting hazard pay to complain about it, and somehow you
and I as always are still footing the damn bill.
So here's what's coming up on the shutdown crisis. Democrat
debates that look more like demolition derbies, the Bolton indictment,
(16:25):
cash Betel, cleaning up Antifa trash, and believe it or not,
the media pretending to rediscover integrity. So we got two hours,
we got at least four blocks, and hopefully you've got
your cup of coffee in hand. So let's get this started,
shall we. So let's start with what matters and what doesn't.
(16:47):
So the blaze broke this first. The White House is
already drafting an emergency pay authorization, so furlough with federal workers,
get back pay, the men off the ink drives on
the deal.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Hmm.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I don't know how I feel about that. How I
feel about that because you know what, some of these
people would stop voting for gridlock if they weren't guaranteed
back pay at this point out if I'm over the
point of caring, who actually gets to control the football
as long as we quit having all this damn gridlock. Look,
(17:19):
I get it, with gridlock, nothing gets done. But the
problem is we are hurtling towards a cliff, and we're
still hurtling towards that same cliff, and we're pretending that
we're not. So this is becoming political theater. Every single
bit of it, from the left, even some from the right,
is political theater yet again. And I don't know how
I feel about it, and I don't know how to
tell you how you should feel about it either, because
(17:41):
everybody's getting paid just later, so the drama sells longer.
And I find it interesting that there's now all these
rumors that apparently the Democrats are gonna go ahead and
probably past the cr after the No Kings weekend rallies,
because that lets them stand tough in front of their people. See,
we're fighting, we're fighting Ronald Trump, we're standing up against you,
(18:03):
against the oligarchy, we're standing up against dictators. And Yata
got no, you're not. Because if he was an actual dictator,
you wouldn't be allowed to stand up at all. But
your base doesn't understand this. So meanwhile, the Education Department
quietly admitted they're non essential, which we've known for a
(18:23):
while here if you've been paying attention, PJ media caught
this one. I say, let's take them at their word
and leave the doors locked until they prove otherwise. And
over in the Senate, Susie Moore at Red State dug
up the leak we all expected. Schumer's caucus is split
over border funding in Ukraine money. They're fighting each other,
(18:44):
not Republicans. But you won't hear that from the networks,
too busy blaming Mike Johnson Johnson for you know, breathing
and existing and speaking of waste. Ward clock at Red
State spot and a masterpiece TSA running shutdown ads in
Anchorage Airport and agency supposedly cl somehow found money to
buy ads space reminding you they're closed. That's Washington in
(19:08):
one sentence. Now, I'm not now, I actually think the
ads are kind of masterful, but I do find it
interesting that they found a way to pay for them.
So now, on top of all of this, we've got
the air traffic Controllers Union warning of sick outs while
the FAA swears everything is fine. One of them is lying,
and my money's on the side cashing the checks. Now
(19:33):
remember those ads we were talking about. So Democrats are
currently trying to nail Christy Nome for violating the Hatch
Act because she posted videos blaming them for the shutdown. Newsflash,
Hatch Act is hard to prove, and you still have
(19:55):
them past a budget.
Speaker 21 (19:56):
So they can't fund the troops because Donald Trump's finding
creative ways to do that, but they can fund lawyers
to punish the people pointing that out.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Hmm. So that's your government in a nutshell. Ladies and gentlemen,
that was your quick hit on everything that we're going
to be going through. We're going to back up now
and start going through each bit in a bit more detail.
But before we do that, I do want to talk
to you about our friends over at Freedom Chat. So
Freedom Chat again. If you've been paying attention to what's
(20:31):
been happening with the Young Republicans, Apparently New York has
disbanded their chapters of Young Republicans. They have been caught
in all kinds of supposed text message scandals. I say
this yet again, when you have young people that have
spent the last ten years being told they are Nazis
and Hitler and everything else, they're probably going to lean
into it a little bit in their private conversation. So
they were saying things that they thought would never come
(20:52):
to light, that they thought were funny and basically just
being smart. Butts that being said, if they were using
freedom Chat, this never could have happened. They could have
said it to where after a couple of minutes each
message basically self destruction goes away. Two they would have
had the option whoever created the conversations to click a
little switch that says, hey, guess what, you can't screen
(21:14):
capture this, and if they try, all they get is
a blank screen. So I've been saying this for about
a month and a half now, actually for closer to
two months, for as long as freedom Chat's been a
friend of the show, and that is this. If the
White House had had freedom Chat during Signal Gate, there
would have been no Signal Gate. All right, So let's
take a quick hit around the news and start seeing
(21:35):
what else we can find to get into that's kind
of tied to the same stuff. But so let's take
a look, let's see what we can find here.
Speaker 22 (21:47):
Hang on that.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
So that's going to be closer to our two. All right,
so let's talk about this because this is actually in
the bottom of my sack of stuff for hour one,
so well add this in. So when you've lost CNN,
this is from Matt Vestma. CNN's top legal analysts just
took a judge to the cleaners over ludicrous bodycam ruling.
(22:11):
So when CNN can't even defend you, you know you've
stepped on a landmine. That's Judge Sarah Ellis who issues
and absurd ruling for Immigration and Customs enforcement they must
wear body cameras. So I thought they were already supposed
to do that anyway. So a federal judge on Thursday
said she is profoundly concerned that federal agents working on
immigration enforcement in the Chicago area are violating restrictions put
(22:34):
in place one week ago regarding the use of tear
gas and other crowd control methods. Based on reporting from
ABC seven Chicago and other Chicago media outlets, a US
District Judge Sarah Ellis ordered Chicago US Immigrations and Customs
Enforcement Field Officer our field office director Russell Hote or
hot h Ott. So you tell me to appear in
(22:58):
court on Monday to answer questions about several incidents where
agents were recorded using teargas and other crowd control methods,
and violations of Ellis's orders were alleged. Judge Ellis also
modified the already existing temporary Restraining Order or TRO in
place to require all agents working under Operation Midway Blitz
(23:19):
who have already been issued body cameras to wear them
and keep them on during law enforcement activities in Chicago.
I am modifying this temporary restraining order, Ellis said in court.
I am adding that all agents who are operating in
Operation Midway Blitz are to wear body worn cameras and
they are to be on. So does this judge not
(23:42):
realize that she's overreached. She's not the head of field
operations for ICE. Even Cnnzelli Hung, the network's top legal analyst,
had this to say, and we've got the clips, So
hang on, I'm gonna get this queued up.
Speaker 6 (23:54):
For you here.
Speaker 23 (24:01):
I don't know where this judge thinks she gets off
essentially becoming the chief of ICE operations. I mean, she
cannot micro manage. Tell them you have to wear body cameras.
I mean, that might be a good idea, but that's
an overstep. She's gonna get reversed by a court of
appeals eventually, maybe the Supreme Court, maybe the Circuit court,
because what are the the cops essentially right, their immigration cops.
Are they supposed to go to her and say, well,
(24:22):
you're honor, we want to take a door. Do we
have your permission?
Speaker 6 (24:24):
You're on her?
Speaker 23 (24:25):
When should we have our body cameras on? Do we
need it during breaks? I mean, this is the kind
of stuff that the chief of police or the ASAC
would do. Federally supposed to have the body worn cameras on.
So federal policy varies by agency on that different municipalities.
Most municipalities require it. But again for the judge to
this is a perfect example for the judge to say
you must have body cameras and have them on at
(24:46):
all times. That's bad policy because what if you go
into the home of a domestic violence scene and somebody
doesn't a victim doesn't want to be doesn't want.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
To be shown on camera. I've done these policies.
Speaker 23 (24:55):
You have to enable the police officers to turn them
off to protect victims to protect privacy. This is why
it's a mismatch for a federal judge to try to
micromanage the street level operations of ICE or any police.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
Force sizer than need to be in Chicago.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
So I love the sneak in right at the end
of the clip that they were well, ICE doesn't need
to be in Chicago anyway. Actually, in my estimation, ICE
needs to be everywhere. We talked about this yesterday. With
operations Summer Heat, they have racked up thousands of arrest
hundreds of hundreds of violent criminals, hundreds of human trafficking
victims that were freed and taken care of over the
(25:34):
summer with operations Summer Heat. So as long as we're
pulling in numbers like that, those people need to be everywhere.
We've got in one other reason why we're bringing up
Chicago right now, because I just saw a story right
as we were getting ready for air that apparently there
is a local law enforcement officer from Chicago who's been
(25:56):
arrested by ICE because guess what, he's not legally here.
He's an asylum seeker, but he doesn't have legal status,
which means technically he's not even supposed to own a firearm,
and yet somehow see this falls into the category of
things they keep telling us can't ever happen. Remember they
(26:19):
said that about the guy that we found out was
like a superintendent of a huge school district who apparently
was here illegally and also had a had been part
of other school districts as well, who was found with
large amounts of cash, a knife, and a gun. Now
you've got an actual Chicago police officer who is an
illegal alien. Are you serious right now? Are you serious
(26:42):
right now? I just don't even know what to think
anymore because they keep telling us these things can't happen.
You don't understand, Rick, These things can't happen. They just can't.
There's protections in place, there's ways to make sure these
things don't happen. So if there are ways to make
sure these things don't happen, why do we keep finding
(27:03):
out that they're happening over and over and over again.
Because I just I'm trying, I really am. I'm really trying.
I'm trying to remain positive, I'm trying to remain upbeat.
I'm trying to basically act as if we are still
(27:23):
fighting the same battle that we were fighting before. But
the problem is, I'm not really sure that we are
because again, Donald Trump is looking great on the world
stage right now. He's leading from the front again. He's
got America back in positions of power all over the
world stage. But at the same time, quietly at home,
he's backing off of some of the very same things
that he said he was going to do, like trying
(27:45):
to push to make sure that people that were furloughed
don't get their back bay because they never should have
been furloughed in the first place. And maybe if they
actually start having to feel consequences of the things that
they vote for, they'll stop voting for them. Some of
these very same people we're talking about, people that live
and work in the work in Washington, d C. Live
in Virginia and vote Blue at every opportunity. So if
(28:05):
they have to start being if they have to start
feeling pain from those decisions, maybe they'll stop.
Speaker 6 (28:10):
You know.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
That's kind of where I am with the commune out
of New York City. New York City should be able
to vote for whoever they want to vote for, and
everybody should just get out of their way. But then
the folks in New York City should be ready to
live with whatever those consequences are if they put a
damn Communist in the seat of their mayor, because that's
insane to me. It's insane to me. All right. So
(28:39):
back to the shutdown stuff. So we talked about the
odds that we're running. We're gonna go a little bit
more into detail with the whole you know, them going
after christin home. I always want to call her CHRISTI
nome don't know why. I remember when I used to
think she was hot. Not so much anymore. So this
is from Jennifer all O'Connell, and this is coming out
(29:03):
through Red State. Thursday marks day sixteen of the shutdown.
So this was put out yesterday. You would think Democrat
senators have greater concerns, like considering majority leader John Thune.
Republicans south there South Dakota offered a vote on the
Obamacare extensions in exchange for voting to reopen the government instead.
Senate Democrats are but hurt over a new video recorded
(29:23):
by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noam which blames
them for the government shutdown. Several airports have already refused
to air the ad deeming it coersive, but forcing us
to watch CNN on loop. Yeah, that wasn't coursive at all.
So they planned amount of an investigation over the over known
placing these videos in American airports on the premise that
(29:45):
it violates the Hatch Act. Trotting out Senator Stolen Valor
Richard Blumenthal, Democrat Connecticut, proves that these are not serious people.
But Americans already know this, all right, So here's the
video of this with Stolen Valor boys. Hang on, at
(30:07):
least I'm pretty sure that's who that is.
Speaker 24 (30:09):
If you're traveling and going to an airport, Christie Noom,
the Secretary of Homeland Security, wants you to be part
of her captive audience. In fact, she has a little
propaganda piece blaming Democrats for the shutdown. It's not only inappropriate,
it's illegal for her to use those tsa monitors to
(30:33):
spread her personal political propaganda. And that's why I am
demanding that she stopped browbeating airports into aiding in a
bettering her illegal political campaign. And I'm sending her a
letter along with colleagues who are equally outraged, saying no,
you cannot use air travelers as your captive audience.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Right, So I would just like to point out that
all she's doing is blaming the people who keep refusing
to vote for the cr which is an ex which
is an extension of their former boss's budget for the shutdown.
So I don't really think you've got a leg to
(31:21):
stand on, But more power to you, bubba. So the
problem with that is this, so Democratic senators are alleging
the Department of Homeland Security potentially violated the Hatch Act
by asking airports across the country to play a video
featuring DHS Secretary Christinome blaming Democrats for the impacts of
the government shutdown. Now problem with that is, notice how
(31:45):
they already said several airports were refusing to run the video.
Now my take on this, and we'll go into the
language of it in a moment, is if she was
forcing them to do it and they weren't allowed to
say no, then I might even kind of see where
they got, you know, maybe just a little bit of
this could be a problem. So in the notes here, though,
(32:06):
this appears to be a flagrant violation of Section seven fifteen,
which states no part of any funds appropriated in this
or any other Act shall be used by an agency
of the Executive Branch for the preparation, distribution, or use
of any film presentation designed to support or defeat legislation
pending before the Congress, except in presentation to the Congress itself.
(32:29):
Connecticut Democrat Senator Richard blumandal a stolen Valoraboy wrote in
the letter to DHS, citing a section from the Anti
Lobbying Act. The Hatch Act restricts certain political activities by
federal employees and by some state employees as well, including
Washington DC and local government workers who are involved or
work in federally funded programs. Penalties for violating and include
(32:53):
removal from federal employment, suspension without pay, demotion, or blocking
a party from federal job for up to five years
according to the Office of Special Counsel. So this is
what occupies the Democrats, and they're insane peanut galleries. They
even want the White House posts. They even want the
White House posting memes that mock the Democrats to be
(33:15):
reported as a Hatch AGT violation. So here's what the
Hatch Act is actually supposed to do. This thing was
passed in nineteen thirty nine as a federal law designed
to limit the political activities of government employees. Its primary
purposes to ensure that the federal workforce operates in a
nonpartisan manner. Pretty sure that ship has sailed free from
(33:36):
political influence or coercion. The law aims to prevent the
use of official authority to affect election outcomes and to
protect civil servants from pressure to support specific candidates or parties. Again,
pretty sure that ship has sailed. This framework helps maintain
a system where federal employment and advancement are based on
marriage rather than political affiliation. Does it though? Does it really?
(33:57):
Because I don't think any of that applies anymore. At
least it didn't for the previous four years. Ol'd see
how it goes anymore. All right, So the keywords here influence,
coersion and election outcomes. How does an ad placing blame
where it rightfully belongs and outlining the ramifications that are
being felt from the shutdown become a form of influence
(34:19):
our coersion? I'm sorry, So you're saying that because we're
telling people the truth about who you are and what
you stand for, that suddenly that we're violating the Hatch Act.
I mean, just pointing out how crazy this sounds maybe
to everybody else but me, I don't really know. All right,
So we're up against the break. We're just gonna do
(34:41):
the music break thing again. So my name is Rick Robinson.
This is my show. You were listening to us live
on Kayla Rity. I don't forget. We have two hours
on this feed and we'll be hopping feeds over to
the Friday News Roundup. I know it's inconvenient for you guys,
but it's much easier for me because I keep forgetting
to go cut the third hour to its own space anyway,
(35:01):
So now I don't have to do that anymore. Plus
it will help me work on branding it out better
as we go. Anyway, Again, it is Friday. Tell your friends,
come hang out, chat for a while. Your bosses don't
even need to know. Keep an earbut in we'll be
back in about four. Grab a drink, stretch your legs,
maybe smoke a little bit of what else you think,
even if you're at work. I'm not your boss and
(35:21):
I don't judge.
Speaker 8 (36:31):
They shove the lack.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
That's downtown in the city. You see its cisterns on
the road. While the same hands haven't broken hold your pee,
check in your old horse.
Speaker 6 (36:45):
They'll sell your simper silver.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Call y'all sacrifice, relief, whatever drive or truly bleed han
line of belief, realism free. It's called them a loaded firestone.
Speaker 12 (38:12):
And the prizes now.
Speaker 5 (38:14):
Tall when they knee and go on.
Speaker 11 (38:20):
Every promise tacks, they ever.
Speaker 7 (38:22):
Breath, every shame the horse of those still called freedom.
Speaker 8 (38:33):
Freedom his own free.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
They bring marble towers while they're fiens on. You'll probably
are they went a five man out of rules. I'm
calling me and smart. They'll brand your horse stager. They'll
mock you the screed. But freedom don't need from mission.
It's your steeds man who bleeds freedom, mission free. That's
(39:08):
called him blood and fire sns little price of stand
and all and the tarry deal. And they have a
lot of good bad red promis.
Speaker 12 (39:20):
Chi we rerad.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
They'll never say on those who still believe cause Fred of.
Speaker 9 (39:31):
Freedom, Mason Free, reado Mission Free.
Speaker 7 (39:40):
It's written in red on history, Spage one.
Speaker 10 (39:45):
Into the tyrant sem the cows over the age.
Speaker 13 (39:49):
They can baty our inside, but the true still screams.
Speaker 12 (39:58):
Freedom is on.
Speaker 25 (40:09):
Well and welcome back into the program, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (41:13):
It is the Fry Yay edition to the rec Robinson Show.
I want to give a quick shout out to g
R eighty six, Bubba, if you're gonna do that, that's
a rather large group of people. I hope you brought
plenty of pills. Also, the Anti Semite room is a
little bit further that way, so you might want to
go anyway. So welcome back into the program, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah,
(41:36):
we picked up a YouTube troll right as I went
to break, probably still lurking somewhere, just in case you're
still listening. Brother, Yeah you're on. The First of all,
I hope you got a lot of blue shoe because
you're gonna need them. That's a lot of folks. That's
a lot of folks. Second of all, yeah, you know,
(41:56):
anti Semitism kind of went out in the forties, brother,
Point that out. Point that out, all right, So welcome
back into the program again. I want to talk about
what's happening a week from tonight eight thirty pm Eastern.
So for tonight you still get he said she's ad.
Next week, no, he said she's in. But instead you
(42:18):
will get the KLARM Radio Players present the Day of
the Year stood still. Cast has been announced, script is
being finalized. We will be ready to rock and roll
by next week, so make sure you guys join us there.
Don't forget. We will have the full play, and then
after that there will be the Winter play announcement. It
looks like they already have something lined out for that.
(42:40):
I stay out of that part of it as much
as possible because that way they can have as much
fun as they want. Well, I have it and go,
oh crap, it's the boss.
Speaker 6 (42:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
I don't even get to see what they're doing until
it's done because I like being surprised. And then we'll
have an after party hanging out on the stream with
you guys, So make sure you hang out for the
whole thing. It should be worth it. And if you
can't for some reason, don't forget. There will be a
replay of the play available on all of our podcast
catchers and everything else. So all right, So let's see
(43:12):
what other trouble we can get into just a second here,
all right, So, in case you missed it, there was
some heavy hitter kind of local style debates last night.
So let's take a bit of a road trip for
(43:33):
a second. We're gonna go from Virginia to New York.
Two debates, same meltdown down in Virginia, AG Jason mayeris,
I'm probably mispronouncing his name. Lit up j two bullets
Jones so hard the lights dimmed. As a matter of fact,
there's actually a picture going around of one of J.
(43:53):
Jones staffers basically crying in his hands after the debate.
That's how badly this went. Red States Katie Jerkovich said
he cleaned the floor with him, and Twitchy chronicled the
memefest that followed. Tried to encourage you guys to check
that out. Turnout, voters don't like candidates who send violent
texts about bringing the fight to the opponent and their children.
(44:16):
Go figure. So then we hoped north to New York,
where sister told you at Red State says nobody won
the mayorial debate. But Governor Kathy Hochel, as I call
her huci Cooch around here, was of course the clear loser.
Andy every candidate on stage took turns pounding her over crime,
housing and that migrant crisis she created. Imagine Democrats blaming
(44:39):
fellow Democrats for democratic policies. So if you add it
all up, two Blue States, two train wrecks, one national trend,
a party out of gas and out of grown ups.
And did you guys see the AOC Bernie Sanders CNN
town hall, the one where she said, quote, we deserve
air that is drinkable. H m m hey, occasional cortex.
(45:08):
If you're breathing water, you're doing something wrong or possibly
not doing something long enough, I'll let you decide. I'll
let you decide, because holy ker fluffles. Anyway, So let's
take a quick news beat hit as we continue the
hit parade here. So remember of the debate we were
(45:36):
talking about no One in New York. So this is
mom Donnie Takami and this is what he had to
say about the Goza peace deal. And it was a
lot so hang on, Yeah, the proper word is potable.
(45:59):
Unfortunately she did not seem to know that proper word.
So anyway, oh yeah, because I had to Well, why
is it? That's weird. It's acting as if I'm still
sharing screens but I'm not, probably because of the mode
makeup while we were on Greek all right, so that
(46:21):
should be fixed now. Sorry, Glitches, glitches every.
Speaker 26 (46:26):
As former hostages celebrate being home. There is new heartbreak
for families of those killed by Hamas. Hamas says that
it can't hand over any more bodies without special equipment
to recover them. Israel says one of the four bodies
so far does not match any of the hostages.
Speaker 12 (46:47):
The run.
Speaker 26 (46:47):
Mamdani is leading the race for mayor in New York City,
the biggest city in the country and the capitalist center
of the world. The thirty three year old is proposing
free childcare, free buses, freezing rent, and city run grocery stores.
He has claimed that we should not really have billionairerors
in this city, and he has vowed to make New
York the strongest sanctuary city in the country. His views
(47:10):
on hot topics like the NYPD and Israel have been
a constant source of controversy, but he is ahead by
thirteen points right now in this space. I sat down
with him on the eve of tomorrow night or old
debate in New York City. Here's part one of our
exclusive interview. Thank you very much for being here, candidate
(47:32):
for mayor of New York City. You're up by thirteen points.
It looks like you've got the wind at your back.
You've got a big debate coming up tomorrow night with
the other candidates, Andrew Cuomo and Sliwap. Obviously, New York
City policy is ront and center, but I would imagine
that some of the big headlines recently are going to
come up tomorrow night as well. So I want to
get to all the policy issues in New York. But
(47:53):
I wanted to ask you this first. If you are
asked tomorrow night, if you give credit to President Trump
for the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and the return
of the twenty living hostages, would you raise your hand?
Speaker 5 (48:08):
You know.
Speaker 27 (48:08):
First I want to say it's a real pleasure to
be here, thank you for having me, and it's an
honor to have this opportunity to speak to so many
New Yorkers and Americans across the country. And when it
comes to the ceasefire, I am thankful, and I have
hope that it will actually endure and that it will
be lasting. And I continue to have concerns because I've
seen reports still just this in the last few days,
(48:29):
that five Palestines were killed by the Israeli military, And
that's what gives me pause about issuing any kind of
praise or celebration at a moment when it is still
so in its infancy, and what I will tell you
is that in that same moment, it is also one
that requires a focus on ensuring that that hope, that
belief in a better future is one that is emblematic
in our policies right here in New York City as well.
(48:51):
And that's what we're hoping to lead with.
Speaker 26 (48:52):
Will would you give President Trump credit or not to
any extent, credit or not?
Speaker 6 (48:56):
I think it's too early to do so, too early
to say it.
Speaker 27 (48:58):
But if it proves to be something that is lasting,
something that is durable, but I think that that's where
you give credit.
Speaker 26 (49:03):
So you've denounced Israel, all.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Right, So we're gonna stop right there for just a moment.
I would like to point out that President Trump just
got hostages home, the rest of them, not in drips
and drabs, not in bits and pieces said what I said,
but home in one piece. And the dude is still
(49:28):
not willing to give him credit. New York City. I
don't know what you're thinking, because I'm looking at the
polling data while I'm watching this clip, and we're going
to go over the most recent polls here in a
minute too. I don't normally speak directly to folks in
New York City because we don't have a big audience there.
But I'm hoping at least some of you are paying
attention and can maybe go start slapping the crap out
of your friends before we have to do escape from
(49:51):
New York Version two electric Boogloo, because we're headed there.
If y'all don't wake up, this is my life to
attempt to wake you up, really, because if this is
what you want, and according to the polls it is,
I mean, even Fox News has this guy leading by
double DUTs. I mean, I guess you're gonna get what
(50:12):
you voted for, and then you'll find out exactly how
terrible communism really is. We've been trying to tell you.
And the problem is because Jenn and I talked about
this a little bit last night. So the problem is
you got the Muslim quarter now in Dearborn, a Stan.
Now you're gonna have commed foothold in New York City.
The problem with all of that is is until they
get a foothold, the commedis are conduct. Shall we say,
(50:35):
Pussy's problem is you're about to give him a foothold.
Once they get it. They never let it go. All right,
I'm gonna keep letting this play for a little bit longer.
Speaker 26 (50:47):
Well, and the United States for the response to the
slaughter on October the seventh. In fact, at times you've
called it a lasting stain the response, and at times
you have left October seventh out of your statements completely
around this issue. Right now, you just talked about israelis
killing some Palestinians, but Hamas is killing Palestinians within Gaza,
(51:10):
and they have not returned the bodies that they promised
to return, including two Americans, Eachi Chen and Omer Neutra,
whose families we have interviewed over these months.
Speaker 5 (51:20):
So what is your response to what Hamas.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Is doing now?
Speaker 27 (51:24):
I think those are bodies and remains that should absolutely
be returned. And I think that I have no issue
with critiquing Hamas or the Israeli government because my critiques
all come from a place of universal human rights and
my focus.
Speaker 1 (51:36):
Now let's stop right here again, because right is he's
saying this, This is when the story started breaking about
Hamas reasserting control and starting to assassinate dissidence on the street.
Notice he never brings that up.
Speaker 27 (51:48):
However, is right here in New York City and transforming
the most expensive city in America into one that's affordable
for each and every New Yorker.
Speaker 26 (51:54):
Okay, and I want to get to that absolutely, But
do you believe that Hamas should lay down their weapons
and leave the leadership in Gaza.
Speaker 27 (52:02):
I believe that any future here in New York City
is one that we have to make sure that's affordable
for all, and as it pertains to Israel and Palestine,
that we have to ensure that there is peace and
that is the future that we have to fight for.
Speaker 26 (52:12):
But you won't say that Hamas should lay down their
arms and give up leadership in Gaza.
Speaker 27 (52:16):
I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas
and Israel beyond the question of justice and safety and
the fact that anything has to abide by international law,
and that applies to Hamas, that applies to Israeli military,
applies to anyone you.
Speaker 1 (52:27):
Could ask me about. So again, I would like to
point out, while he's uttering these sentences, Hamas was rounding
up dissidence and killing them after reasserting control in Gaza. Now,
look as a mayor, he's not wrong. He show well
as a mayorial candidate. He's not wrong. We because New
(52:48):
York City has been the capitalist center of the world
for so long, we have put undue influence on their leadership,
in my opinion, and I'm just bad. You know, the
couple times there's been people in the mayor's seat that
I agree with, I have been all about pushing them
and making them bigger and making them more important than
(53:09):
they really should have been. So I do agree with
him with one point that he needs to be focusing
on how to make New York City better. He and
I are diametrically opposed on how one should do that, though,
because nothing in life is free. There's no such thing
as anything free. Hey, we have a Raptor side and
good morning Raptor. I want to give a quick shout
out to Steven and Denny also hanging out in the chat.
(53:31):
I know I'm remiss on doing that today, but we've
got a lot of information to get through before I
have Brad on for the news roundup, Raptor. Also, if
you're gonna hang out for the entirety, there will be
a feed change before we switch over to hour three,
just because it makes things easier if I have to
do a quick reset again, so I don't lose ten
minutes with Brad. Plus it makes my life easier for
(53:52):
Edits later because I'm about to start writing a special
intro and outro for that one too, since it's kind
of a different thing anyway. So all right, so we
got a few more minutes in this hour, let's continue
the feed scan. We haven't checked out much. I mean,
I've got some stuff tied in from the Blaze because
now that I have a production assistant who I lovingly
(54:13):
now call Ace, we uh we we have a lot
of behind the scenes work going on with the show
that doesn't involve me constantly having to figure.
Speaker 6 (54:23):
It all out on my own.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
So that's nice. Now I just need a Johnny. I
have an Ace. Now I need a Johnny. I just
don't have a way to get a Johnny yet. So yeah,
I'm still upset because Lee Matthews, the local guy, was
actually at the TPUSA event doing a live remote and
I'm like, I didn't have any way to get that
set up in time, and I'm sad about it. So
(54:51):
let's talk about this right because, and trust me, there's
gonna be Italian here. This is one of those six
degrees of Kevin Bacon things. So you've got the Democrats
right screaming and yelling about how the ACA is unaffordable
because you know, we have to pass these subsidies that
were passed during the COVID thing. Remember they were supposed
to be temporary. They voted for them to have a
(55:11):
sunset for a reason, because they knew they wouldn't get
passed otherwise. What if I told you that it was
other Democrats that made things so much worse?
Speaker 8 (55:18):
Though.
Speaker 1 (55:21):
This is from Caroline Weaver over at the Blaze, how
Bill Gates and friends turned global health into a profit
machine at your expense. The Pandemic Funds backers claimed to
fight disease, but the money trail reveals a system built
to enriched global elites while American taxpayers pay the price.
And this, I think is one of the reasons why
Donald Trump has been slowly and steadily behind the scenes,
(55:44):
you know, negotiating with other countries to get us better
price deals. Because we used to be okay with how
much medicine cost here because we were doing most of
the research, development and all the other stuff. But now
we're finding out there's been some other things going on.
We're going to get into that real quick, right here,
right now. Since the COVID nineteen pandemic, a growing network
of non governmental organizations, politicians, and corporations have pushed for
(56:08):
sweeping global health initiatives. They lobby for massive funding, insisting wink, wing, nudge, nudge,
it will prevent the next international health crisis. Groups such
as the World Health Organization, the Gates Foundation, and the
US government have saturated the media with calls for equity
(56:30):
and preparedness. Together, they established the Pandemic Fund, a financial
pool designed to channel money into their shared vision of
global health management. According to its website, the Pandemic Fund
finances critical investments to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response
capabilities at national, regional, regional, and global levels, with a
(56:54):
focus on low and middle income countries. In practice, it
serves as a central hearing house for government, NGOs and
business coalitions to move money under the banner of health
and security. The funds flow to implementing entities such as
the World Bank that doesn't sound shady at all, the
who gave the Vaccine Alliance, and UNSEF. These organizations, in
(57:19):
turn decide how the investments are distributed and to whom
each claims to act on behalf of public health, but
their reach and influence often extend far beyond medicine, into politics, surveillance,
and other forms of control. There's also what we call
convenient ambiguity. Who actually gets paid to implement these objectives?
(57:40):
What do surveillance and prevention mean in practice? How is
preparedness measured? Which corporations manage the prowess and whose services
are contracted for the lab upgrades? None of these questions
has a direct answer. There's no straight lines here. There's
just a bunch of parallels and occasionally intersecting diagonals. The
(58:03):
Fund's language reads like a bureaucratic fog. Dense, opaque, and unaccountable.
Kind of sounds like the whole we had to pass
the thirty five hundred page monster to find out what
was in the thirty five page or thirty five hundred
page monster, doesn't it so? What the Pandemic Fund does
provide is a clear list of donors the United States,
the Gates Foundation, and several European governments. It also highlights
(58:25):
forty seven active projects spanning seventy five countries. What it
doesn't provide is equally telling. The site omits the names
of officials who mans the money in each country, the
ownership of the laboratories, and the companies installing the surveillance systems.
Even the identities of those delivering medical support remain concealed
behind the veil of global cooperation. So it's just me
(58:50):
or does this sound like a ginormous conflict of interest
beyond its opacity? The Pandemic fund is riddled with conflicts
of interest? Pretty sure? I just called that the Gates
found Nation ranks among its largest institutional donors, while GAVY
the Vaccine Alliance acts as implementing entity responsible for distributing
those same funds. Gavy's on website acknowledges that the Gates
(59:12):
Foundation was both a founding partner and a seed donor,
contributing a whopping seven hundred and fifty million dollars at
its launch in two thousand. That relationship alone should be
setting off alarms everywhere and raise bookoo bookoo questions. GAVY
now helps allocate the Pandemic funds grants, meaning one of
(59:33):
its original funders plays a direct role in deciding where
new money goes. So if that wasn't conflict of interesting enough,
the conflicts aren't even deeper. Bill Gates has invested heavily
in Madernam a big surprise, and by Ontech, the two
of the world's leading mRNA vaccine manufacturers stop calling them
(59:55):
vaccines because they're not. The Gates Foundation funded Moderna's early
the mRNA work, and public records show that Gates himself
owns more than one million shares of Biointech, which partnered
with Pfizer to produce the COVID nineteen vaccine. So doesn't
take much imagination here to start connecting some doubts to
(01:00:15):
see how a fund directed by Gates linked institutions could
steer money intentionally or not, towards companies in which he
holds a stake. The web of influence and the conflagration
extends into policy enforcement. The Oral Health Organization's Director General
oversees the International Health Regulations, a global framework that allows
governments to impose quarantine, testing, or vaccination requirements during declared
(01:00:40):
health emergencies. United States accepted the IrH in two thousand
and five, but rejected the most recent amendmentes adapted in
twenty twenty four, formally withdrawing from those obligations. In July
of this year, I think God. Even so, the structure
remains in place. If Washington or any other government adopted
tighter compliance measures, it could channel money from the Pandemic
(01:01:01):
Fund to purchase vaccines and countermeasures. Pharmaceutical companies would profit
handsomely from policies that treat mass vaccination as the first
and only line of defense. The more the world relies
on vaccines as a universal solution, the more secure the
profits for the investors like Gates become. All right, so
I could keep going. This is a very detailed thing,
(01:01:23):
but we're pretty much out of time for this hour,
so we're gonna have to take the break anyway. And
if I keep reading, my heads probably going to explode.
So my name is Rick Robinson. This is my show.
I want to give a quick shout out to our
first responders, whether you are somebody who was still wearing
a badge, retired from wearing a badge, or works in
(01:01:45):
a behind the scenes support capacity, whether that be dispatch
or anything else, fire, PD, dispatch, paramedics, all those things.
You guys do things that nobody else is ever going
to completely fully understand and deal with stresses that almost
nobody else that hasn't done. The job is ever going
to be able to completely understand. So I want to
thank each and every one of you for doing everything
(01:02:06):
that you do. The reason we're not doing the usual
songs is because I'm working on writing some of my
own so that we can stop getting copyright flags, because
even with licensing, people can still get cranky. So I'm
fixing that figure that back. Stay tuned.
Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
They shut the lines down there in the city, and
see the cisterns on the roofs, while the same ans
and broken hold your pee check and your horse.
Speaker 6 (01:03:17):
They'll sell your swell the.
Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
Seal, call your sacrifice relief, but ever drive truly, please
write another line of belief.
Speaker 9 (01:03:27):
Freedom is a free.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
Has called him loaded fire stone, the prizes down tall,
and the kneel and go home.
Speaker 11 (01:03:40):
Every promise tags they.
Speaker 7 (01:03:42):
Ever breath, never live change the horse, and those she
still leave call freedom.
Speaker 8 (01:03:53):
Freedom his arm free.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
They bring pres from abum towers while they're manson from
you a. They w a fine man out of rules
and calling me a smart but they'll brand your missus danger.
He'll mock you'll fans greed bood. Freedom don't need from
mission and just needs man who bleeds Freedoms Free. That's
(01:04:28):
called him Blood and Fire, Sal's little pride of sand
and Song and the joy deal. And they got a
lock up that red promise, Sis we brave, They'll Dello
Saint Loss though, who still leave cause.
Speaker 9 (01:04:48):
Freed Freedom, Mason, Free, Freedoms Free.
Speaker 7 (01:05:00):
It's written and read on histories, page worn.
Speaker 10 (01:05:05):
Into the tyrant sounds, the cows.
Speaker 5 (01:05:08):
Of the age.
Speaker 13 (01:05:09):
They can bury our inside, but the true sill screen.
Speaker 12 (01:05:18):
Bread on is on, Friends, read friends.
Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
Hello, friends, you have a moment so that we made
us us our Lord and savior minnarchy. No, seriously, I'm
just kidding.
Speaker 6 (01:06:06):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
My name is Rick Robinson. I am the general manager
of Klrnradio dot com. We are probably the largest independent

He's a Rick Robinson show, bowl on a free truth

speaking with my damn mission that makes us top for
the people.
Speaker 2 (01:09:12):
Show was saying what we feel.
Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
And welcome into our two officially of the Friday edition
of The Red Proposition Show. Don't forget there'll be a
so a slight change up for our three will actually
be changing feeds, just because it makes my life that
much easier. And now that I'm doing about eighty percent
of the one hundred percent that I was doing. Now
I'm trying to figure out how to organize things well
enough that I can get back to one hundred percent
(01:09:46):
because I keep finding that I don't have the energy
or the time to write. Funny thing is, I'm actually
writing some other stuff more, but I don't have the time,
where the energy to go find the other stories. So
if you're if you new around here, you can find
there's a substack called rix Rans that used to be
kind of where I would vent. For now it's kind
of become the running newsletter for the shows. There's also
(01:10:10):
a new one called the Kingdom and Country Dispatch that
aligns with the newest show that we do, your own
Kalen Radio Kingdom and Country, and so that one if
you missed it, we did a Bible study night before last,
and you can find the link and the show notes
on the Kingdom and Country Dispatch if you want to
go check that out. And that show will be live
(01:10:33):
again this coming Sunday at nine pm Eastern. But before
we get back into anything else, do want to talk
to you again about a week from today. I know
I'm talking about it a lot but it's a big deal, man,
It really is. So the Kaler Radio players will be
presenting the Day the Earth Stood Still. I'm a member
of the cast. I'm not telling you much of anything
else because I want I want everybody else that shows
(01:10:53):
up to be a surprise for you. I mean, I know,
Beezy let the cat out of the bag yesterday, so
we know he's got a part. But there are some
folks that you might not have seen or heard in
one of our plays for a while that are coming back,
which is why I'm leaving it as a surprise. Thanks Raptor.
I really do appreciate that I'm actually getting some really
good feedback on that new show. I was nervous about
(01:11:14):
launching that one. I really was, because I am out
of the group as far as bringing being a preacher.
But I feel like it's starting to try to come
back to the point where it keeps trying to bleed
through into this one a little bit, and I'm like, really, yeah,
I mean it does some. If you'll notice, I'm trying
to clean up most of the way it bleeds through.
Is there really trying not to cuss like a sailor anymore?
(01:11:35):
My Dad's already really happy about that. My dad, my
biggest fan, one of the people that's listened for the
longest time, even if he's done it quietly and didn't
even tell me he was watching and listening until one
day he finally just said, Dude, I can't listen to
you anymore. You drop an F bomb like every thirty seconds.
I'm like, eh, get over it, old man. Anyway, all right,
so since we are into hour two, let's pick up
(01:11:57):
the hour two thread. I've been frantically working on a
few other things behind the scenes too. Okay, so that
actually looks really good. That may become the new digital
beacon scene. Sorry, I'm working on some ideas for the
news desk for the weekend news roundup, because I want
to blend the two logos together, and it's just sent
(01:12:18):
me back the the design for step one. So now
we're going to start blending everything else, and I'm trying
to have to make sure it's ready to go by
hour three. Uh pardon me. It's also Tree having sex season,
which is another reason why I think I've been way
more tired than I expected to be. But I keep
(01:12:40):
forgetting the back and forth with the temperature, what makes
the trees have a lot of fun, and I have
and I'm allergic to cedar trees and I have a
million of them on my property because you know reasons anyway,
all right, So back to what we were talking about
before I had a start working on that. Let me
get back into these show notes, do you okay? So
(01:13:19):
let's let's take a little trip overseas for just a second,
or maybe just a little bit over the line. First,
PGA media is Matt Mergolis confirms what a few us
as a few of us have suspected, the White House
has been back channeling with with Venezuela while pretending to
play hard ball. I don't know how I feel about
that one, but we're gonna dig into that a little
(01:13:40):
bit later. So as former so at the same time,
former n s A. John Bolton gets indicted for a book.
Mm hmm. So but he didn't get indicted for the
book though. So there's a reason I use that because
that that that's the left's argument, right, That's going to
(01:14:02):
be their argument for all of this. So Trump is
is getting Biden, are getting Biden getting Bolton indicted while
cutting deals was with dictators. But the thing about it is.
I don't really think that he is cutting deals with dictators. Also,
(01:14:23):
according to The Blaze, they've laid out the charges rather
nicely classified materials from his twenty twenty memor memoile, while
town Hall's Jeff Charles pointed out the obvious selective prosecution.
If you leak to help the left, you're a source.
If you publish something that they don't like, you're a criminal.
And apparently they don't like it when things start happening
(01:14:43):
in reverse. So now Red States. Strafe adds that Syncom
cyber units got quietly assigned to domestic monitoring during the shutdown.
They'll chase memes at home while ignoring threads abroad, but
not every Every headline is bad. Cash Betel told Red
State's sister told you that several Antifa punks are finally
(01:15:04):
facing indictments for the Prairie Land Detention Center attack in Texas.
For years we've heard Antifa is just an idea. Well,
that idea is about to see the inside of a
courtroom and hopefully at jail's hill. Bolton gets indicted for words.
But it's not just words. Again, I'm framing this in
the argument of the left. So if you're wondering why
this kind of seems like I'm coming from the opposite angles,
(01:15:27):
because I'm telling you what they're about to start talking about.
Bolton has gotten indicted for words in a book on
a page, but that's not it. He got indicted because
he had access to classified information and classified intelligence that
he never should have had access to. And that's where
we are with all of this. So, with all the
supposed back channel deals with Venezuela, I guarantee you it's
(01:15:49):
not what the left is that's going to be there
that trust me, that's coming out from the left in
the next day or so. While Donald Trump's been talking
tough and blowing up both, he's been working back channels
with Venezuela. It's not going to be what you think
it is. I guarantee you it's not. Also, on the
world stage, we have Zelenski coming back to the White
(01:16:10):
House today. It looks like one of the things that
might be a subject of interest is whether or not
we're going to be sending Ukraine tomahawks. I don't really
know how I feel about this. I was all fine
with us figuring out how to get out of this mess.
But the problem is we didn't create this mess. Obama
and Biden created this mess, and now we're having to
(01:16:30):
try to figure out how to clean it up. This
was the one that Donald Trump thought would be the easiest.
He thought he would have this one done by day
one because of the relationship that he thought he had
with Vladimir Putin, not the relationship that he has according
to the left, because you know, according to the left,
(01:16:52):
he's a Russian stooge. I hate to point this out,
but if he really was a Russian stooge and the
stuff that they're talking about, then Putin would have let
him dog walk him just to keep his cover intact.
Just pointing that out, Just pointing that out. I know
(01:17:14):
I'm a stick in the mud when it comes to
those kind of things, but it really is kind of
the truth though, because if he really was a Russian asset,
they wouldn't let him off the leash. That are off
the hook that easily. But yeah, so Ze Linsi's coming
back to the White House. We're gonna find out whether
(01:17:34):
or not Donald Trump is going to be allowing them
access to tomahawks. I have a feeling it'll probably be
tomahawks that have sold to Europe and then sold to
Ukraine so that we can keep ourselves kind of out
of the mix of it, because that's just kind of
how he works. But we'll see, all right. So in
the other world stage events that we have today, This
(01:17:57):
is from streef over at red Stone eight. Did he
jump or was he pushed?
Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
US?
Speaker 1 (01:18:02):
Top commander for Latin America abruptly retires. This story broke
last night. I didn't really have a chance to get
into it with Jen, so I put it on the
stack of stuff for today. Less than a year into
his tenure, the four star commander of US Southern Command
has abruptly turned in his request to retire at the
end of twenty twenty five. The Secretary of War Ptexseth
first reported the news on behalf of the Department of War.
(01:18:25):
We extend our deepest gratitude to Admiral Alvin Halsey for
his more than thirty seven years of distinguished service to
our nation as he plans to retire at year's end.
A native of Fort Valley, Georgia, Admiral Halsey has exemplified
the highest secretary of the highest standards. According to Secretary
of War Pt. Techseth so questions are now starting to arise,
(01:18:48):
though so. He was promoted to the command of US
Southcom on November for November seventh, twenty twenty four. Past
commanders have served three or four years in the role
absent of family emergency. Is unheard of for flag and
general officers to announce their retirement less than a year
into their appointed term. Given the totality of the circumstances,
(01:19:09):
it is likely he took Petexth's advice at his September
meeting at Quantico. Petexseth makes a much needed my way
or the highway offer to assemble generals and admirals. That
would be if the words I'm speaking today are making
your heart sync, then you should do the honorable thing
and resign. Halsey came up through the ranks as a
helicopter pilot and personnel officers actually can find his bio online.
(01:19:34):
As far as I can tell, he managed to serve
the entirety of his thirty seven years without passing through
a combat zone. In twenty twenty, he was hand picked
to serve as Director Task Force one Navy, analyzing and
evaluating issues in society and the military that detract from
naval readiness. Those are code words for he ran the
(01:19:55):
Navy's DEI program. Starting make a bit more sense, the
pledge requires all of the Navy leaders, including the overtly
Marxist ones I, pledged to advocate foreign acknowledge all lived
experiences and intersectional identities of every sailor in the Navy.
Speaker 6 (01:20:15):
What the what?
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
So, according to the Slimes, Holsey was not totally on
board with Trump's campaign of blowing up Venezuelan boats linked
to drug cartels and the ratcheting up of pressure on Maduro.
But one of the US officials, all of whom spoke
on the condition of ananimity to discuss personnel matters, said
that Admiral Holsey has raised concerns about the mission and
(01:20:38):
the attacks on the alleged drug boats. So former DI
head of the Navy basically somehow was given command of
Sentcom or south Com.
Speaker 6 (01:20:53):
Now.
Speaker 1 (01:20:54):
Granted, if you pay attention, it actually happened after Trump
was sworn in, but before he was actually spun up.
So parting shot from the Biden administration to Trump on
the way out the door, you want to get rid
of d I. We're going to give one of the
biggest DEI folks we know of promotion, So yeah, kind
(01:21:15):
of seems like he might have been pushed. Kind of
seems like he deserved to be pushed. Now that I
know more about the story, I have to admit I
didn't pay much attention to this one yesterday because there's
been so many other things going on. But I do
think that, uh, this was probably a good move. All right.
So in the last segments of the international affairs section
(01:21:39):
of the show, so this is again from our friends
at Red State. This is Christopher ARBs how Trump used
leadership and leverage to forge a Gaza peace deal. So
with what actually is going on in Gaza, I don't
really know how long this is going to be able
to be framed as a peace deal. I do want
to give Trump credit where credit is due, though. He
got the last remaining live hostages home and at least
(01:22:03):
the folks that are pulling the strings for Hamas or talking.
But I also knew that Hamas wasn't going to go
away quietly. So until recently, President Trump was facing two
momentous challenges. One was international in scope, while the other
was domestic. The international challenger, of course, was ending the
two year war in gaza that began after Hamas militants
(01:22:24):
murdered twelve hundred inness in Israelisan took two hundred and
fifty hostages on October seventh, twenty twenty three. The other
is the Democrat initiated Schumer shakedown. So yeah, so we're
going to focus on this one though, which is in
the international desk. So on Monday, the Hamas barbarians released
(01:22:44):
twenty living hostages and seven deceased hostages while Israel and
while Israel released two thousand, including two hundred and fifty
who were serving life sentences, twenty one deceased hostages that
are still unaccounted for, and Hamas claims they aren't sure
where the bodies are located because they could be under
rubble from Israel's bombing campaign. It seems strange that Hamas
(01:23:06):
didn't disclose that while the final details of the peace
agreement were being hammered out. It's not a stretch to
believe Hamas is using the deceased hostages as some sick
leveraging tools, since it's really the only real leverage they
have left after being decimated by Israel's military to show
how depraved and bloodthirsty these terra star. Reports are coming
(01:23:27):
out of Gaza of Palestinian on Palestinian violence, where rival
groups are publicly executing each other in the streets. This
was such a momentous achievement for the President and the
administration that even the Democrats and the media had to
give the president plaudits. Former President Biden, or someone on
his behalf most likely wrote on AX the road to
(01:23:49):
this deal was not easy. I commend President Trump and
his team for their work to get a renewed ceasefire
deal over the finish line. Former President Clinton wrote, President
Trump and his administration Katar, I'm sorry, cutter, I keep
saying that wrong. And other regional actors deserve great credit
for keeping everyone engaged until the agreement was reached. Clinton
(01:24:12):
initiated the Oslo Accords in nineteen ninety three that created
a framework for limited Palestinian self rule in parts of
the West Bank and Gaza. According to The New York Times,
rarely has an American president been met with such adulation abroad.
Even Senator Dicky du Durbin of Illinois, one of the
most partisan members of the Democratic Caucus, gave kudos to
(01:24:33):
the president. Congratulations to President Trump for his historic Gaza agreement.
Noalys negotiated political cease fire on Capitol Hill.
Speaker 7 (01:24:42):
We're not.
Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
We don't need to negotiate. We did our job, Republican
senaclean CR over. It's up to you guys as to
whether or not you're going to accept it. So, and
what surprises me is you guys' only bargaining point was
we want to talk about these you know, covid era
subsidies for the ACA. Well guess what the Senate leader
(01:25:05):
said they would if you pass the CR. But you're
still not willing to do that, which kind of makes
me wonder why. Kind of makes me wonder why? Nice Steven,
(01:25:26):
I just need to convince elf that that whole career
job thing is not really important so we can do
the show every week. So I think Steven's trying to
tell me he's not a fan of Kingdom and Country.
But that's hurt my feelings. But that's all right, just kidding,
all right. So anyway, Okay, So I think we've taken
(01:25:48):
a long enough spin around the international news desk. Let's
see if we have any other updates to anything that's
going on for today. While we're doing that, though, I
do want to talk to you about our friends over
it freedom Chat because again, I know I keep harping
on this a lot, but things like signal Gate from
the beginning of the administration and what just happened with
(01:26:09):
the young Republicans would not have been a thing if
they were using freedom Chat. Check out freedom chat dot com.
You can find out all the information that you need
about them. You can find out how to download whichever
version works best with your brand of phone, because you
know they have two to choose from. Uh And the
best things about freedom chat is one you can find
us on there. We have a Kalon radio channel. We
(01:26:29):
also have the Rick Robinson's Joe channel. We're working on
adding others, but before I do that, I want to
start finding ways to give freedom Chat exclusives first for
the folks that actually take the time to hang out
over there. We're working on that as we speak now.
As far as that goes. Again, one of the best
things about freedom chat is one, they don't hold on
(01:26:50):
to your data. Two, they don't hold on to your
conversations unless you tell them too. And three nobody can
get a screen capture of your conversations, which means Siggate
wouldn't have happened, and neither the stuff with the young Republicans,
So make sure you go check them out freedom chat
dot com. They are offended of the show. We use
them all the time. Starting I'm trying to get more
(01:27:11):
and more of the host involved, so that way we
have kind of so it. Uh so at Salem they
used slack channels, kind of same thing. I want to
get something that like that started with us on Freedom Chat.
Still working on a dough trying to figure out how
best to make that happen. So this is again from
our friends at town Hall. As we move back home,
(01:27:33):
President Trump outlines one mistake the Democrats made with the
Schumer shutdown, one of many in my opinion, but let's
see what Trump's take is. President Donald Trump told Maria
Bartiromo on a preview of the Sunday Morning Futures that
Democrats made one major mistake amid the ongoing Schumer shutdown shakedown.
He said that they gave Republicans an opportunity to finally
(01:27:53):
clear out some of the bureaucracy in the federal government.
So I think they could stay out forever. I mean
to be honest with you, now, what we're doing is
we're cutting Democrat programs that we didn't want. But because
I mean, they made one mistake. They didn't realize that
this gives me the right to cut programs that Republicans
never wanted, you know, giveaways, welfare programs, et cetera. And
(01:28:17):
we're doing that. We're cutting them permanently, Trump said. In
the interview, set to be released on Sunday. Bartromo then
went on to ask the President about the No King's
rally set to take place this weekend. She said, do
you think that the government shut down is all about
this rally that's happening this weekend, the No King's Rally.
I mean, some people say they want to delay it
(01:28:38):
for that. That's that's this. This is not a king,
you know, they're saying they're referring to me as a king.
I'm not a king. Trump responded. But no, but just
so that Chuck Schumer could go and say I'm fighting Trump,
Bartomo replied, and I think we actually may have a
bit of a cut from this. Hang on, Oops, that
(01:29:03):
was not the button them in the press. Okay, yeah,
it's only about a minute forty five. We're going to
play this and then get ready to take the break
so I could finish finalizing the restream background for the
other channel that I'm building. I know, multitasking.
Speaker 8 (01:29:20):
Ain't it fun?
Speaker 1 (01:29:21):
All right? So here we go.
Speaker 29 (01:29:27):
I spoke with President Trump yesterday in his first interview
since Brooklyn, the historic Middle East Piece deal. We discussed
the plan, the ongoing government shutdown, US trade relationships, and
so much more. Here's what he said about the government
shutdown now in day seventeen, this President, do you think
that the government shutdown is all about this rally that's
(01:29:48):
happening this weekend, the No King's Rally.
Speaker 28 (01:29:50):
No.
Speaker 30 (01:29:51):
I mean some people say they want to delay it
for the king.
Speaker 6 (01:29:56):
This is one of the king.
Speaker 30 (01:29:57):
You know, they're saying, they're referring to me as a king.
Speaker 5 (01:29:59):
I'm not here.
Speaker 29 (01:30:00):
No, But just so that Chuck Schumer could go and
say I'm fighting Trump, Well, Chuck is.
Speaker 30 (01:30:03):
You know, at the end of the line, he's being
beaten by everybody that they pull against him. And you
know what he did is he did the right thing
a couple of years ago on something like this, and
he got hurt by his party. And it doesn't I
don't think it matters to him. I think he's just
so dead that he'll do anything. I think they could
(01:30:25):
just say out forever. I mean, to be honest with you, now,
what we're doing is we're cutting Democrat programs that we
didn't want because I mean, they made one mistake, they
didn't realize that. That gives me the right to cut
programs that Republicans never wanted, you know, giveaways, welfare programs,
et cetera. And we're doing that, and we're cutting them permanently.
We're cutting a twenty billion dollar project that Schumer fought
(01:30:48):
for fifteen years to get, and I'm cutting the project.
Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
The project is going to be dead.
Speaker 30 (01:30:53):
It is pretty much dead right now.
Speaker 29 (01:30:57):
We will have more of my exclusive interview coming up
in the seven and eight am hours. We've got a
lot to get to with President Trump this morning, and
then the full interview will air this weekend on Sunday
Morning Futures on Fox News Today Am Eastern on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:31:16):
All right, folks, that's going to do it for segment
one of hour two, coming at you live right now
on the Rick Robinson Show. More show when we come back.
Don't forget weekend News round up coming up an hour
three as well. My name is Rick Robinson. This is
my show. We'll be back in about four.

(01:36:18):
of the days I'm supposed to be pumping out tons
of twitchy articles, but I'm yad plan hasn't working either.
Well to figure it out anyway, Welcome back into the program.
Enough of me grumbling, Let's get back into the notes.
I gotta change gears again because I had Ace working
on some stuff while we were doing some things and
all the stuff, and let me get back into my
(01:36:39):
notes section. I don't know if it's gonna let me
change while he's working there. It goes. I was about
to freak out for a second. It normally does, all right,
So we're into the final segment, so let's talk about this.
So remember Amy Curtis used to write with us over
(01:37:03):
at Twitchy. Well, she's been scooped up by town Hall
and doing an amazing job over there, and I usually
try to pimp her work as much as possible because
we've been in the same circles and same industries now
for about as long. So seeing her start to make
it into what I think might be her breakout moment's
(01:37:23):
been kind of exciting. So town Halls. Amy Curtis actually
dropped a bit of a bombshell yesterday. Hundreds of Wisconsin
at Wisconsin. At some point I might actually remember how
to say that, right, Hello, Wisconsin. Educators are under investigation
for sexual misconduct, some of apparently groomed students online, Others
crossed the line in classrooms, and too many quietly resigned,
(01:37:44):
only to pop up in another district later. Parents are furious.
Bureaucrats are silent. If it were a priest, it'd be
the lead news everywhere. But it's a teacher, so it's quiet,
paperwork shuffled around in a drawer. Let them move on
to another location and start all over again. Look, I've
(01:38:05):
been The funny thing is this became a thing, a
big thing. Like when I started filling in on Okay, okay,
see before they nearly gave me a morning show, so
there was almost any time I was on, whether it
was filling into the morning or filling into the afternoons,
there was a story about this kind of stuff. And
it started as kind of a joke, because you know,
I was like, where were these teachers when I was
in school. But the longer this goes on, the more
(01:38:26):
I realized we have a huge problem in this country,
a huge problem in this country. We don't we don't,
I don't I don't even really know how to explain
it in a way that's going to make it make sense,
and I wish I did, because I just I don't.
This is terrible, though. I mean, you're talking about people
(01:38:47):
that are trusting their children with you, and you are
abusing that trust. But it's not just this. This is
a symptom of the same problem all of this. The children,
you know, when they tell their teach oh, I feel
like I'm a boy instead of a girl, or a
girl instead of a boy. Well that's fine, we don't
even have to tell your parents. Well, just what name
do you want to be called here? And I'll start
(01:39:08):
making sure that happens, and we can do this, and
we can do that, and then all of the other
things that Look, this is terrible. This is part of
why our country is as broken as it is, and
it's one of the reasons why I and this is
going to make some people uncomfortable. I don't, but I
kind of said that ship sailed after September tenth, just
(01:39:32):
pointing that out. This is why I, as a Christian,
have been kind of happy to see gen Z going
back to church, gen Z buying more Bibles. I don't
know if the trend is going to continue. I hope
it does, because we've lost our way in this country.
This whole religion of secular humanism has driven people to
(01:39:52):
just basically has gone from secular humanism to hedonism. They
do whatever they want, whenever they want, and they don't
think they're ever going to have to face any consequences
from telling children, Oh, you're five years old and you
think you should be a girl, We can take care
of that for you here. No, I'm sorry, I'm gonna
say this again. At five years old, I thought I
wanted to be Godzilla. And it wasn't just for a
(01:40:13):
day or so. For like six months when I was five,
I wanted to be Godzilla because I thought it was awesome.
I used to pretend that was Godzilla in my living room.
I used to set up the I had, you know,
the little Tonka garage sets and a few other things,
so I would set those up in my living room
and then act like I was Godzilla destroying Tokyo. Luckily,
(01:40:36):
my parents recognized that I was a little boy who
had an imagination, and there wasn't any way to start
the process to make me a you know, giant lizard
or who knows. But what if I told you that
it wasn't you know? I mean parents in Madison are
(01:40:58):
also filing recall petitions. So this is nuts. This is nuts.
When are we going to start? And and and again.
I think part of what may have changed it And
maybe it's just me because and I've noticed this, So
(01:41:19):
I think part of it is I've gotten to the
point where I am officially old enough now where when
I see kid people that are and I see almost
at it again, kids people that are in their twenties
and thirties, I see children. I don't know when that happened,
because I remember, like growing up, you know, my grandmother
accidentally got me hooked on days of our lives. So
(01:41:39):
there was a summer that we spent in Alabama. And
this was back in the time when, you know, in
the before times, when you really only had three channels
to choose from. So and she loved all the NBC shows.
So Another World, which is where I got introduced to
John Delancey, Santa Barbara, which is where I learned about
and I can't think of his name right now, but
his face is right in front of it. To come
(01:42:00):
to me later. And then eventually, of course, even Days
of our Lives, And that was during the time that
the original actor that played Roman Brady had left. So
they found a creative way to bring in Drake Hoguston,
who basically took over the role. But instead of it
just being the usual quiet you know, this role is
now being played by so and so, they made a
(01:42:22):
big deal about him looking different, which is when if
I had been familiar with the show yet, would have
been a way that I would have known that there
was probably at some point going to be another shoe
of that drop. I say all of this to you
not to start you not a premer for Days of
our Lives, but to let you know that I remember
when I was eighty eight, nine, ten eleven years old
watching this stuff with my grandma, you know, because she
(01:42:43):
got me hooked when I was young, and then there
was a summer that we stayed down there and got
me hooked even more because there was really nothing else
to do. I remember looking at the folks that are
really old now and in there when they were eighteen
nineteen twenty twenty one years old, think and damn they
look old. And now I look at eighteen nineteen twenty
(01:43:04):
twenty one year old people and I see kids. So
I don't know if maybe that's why to me, teachers
seem so different now because I'm not a kid anymore.
Because I don't remember there being twenty something teachers. I
remember there being twenty something teachers assistants, but I don't
remember there being twenty something teachers. It feels like it
(01:43:25):
used to take longer to be able to become a
teacher than it does now, and I think that might
be part of the problem. And it could just be me.
I'm old. I understand that I'm coming to terms with it.
I am I'm trying to stay young, but you know,
realizing how much my perception has changed. When I'm watching
an astronaut talking about fixing and go up into space
(01:43:45):
and they look twelve to me the other day, I
was like, holy crap, I really have gotten old. I
don't know how I feel about that either, because I've
been fighting that every step of the way. But yeah,
So I think there are some major issues with our
moral compass, not only in the country but in the world,
in the world in general, and I really hope that
(01:44:08):
we start trying to now that we're starting to fix
some of the political masks. I hope we start working
on that too. But that's again another reason why I
started to show called Kingdom and Country is I'm trying
to do my part to see if I can help it.
Speaker 5 (01:44:21):
All.
Speaker 1 (01:44:21):
Right, So, we've talked about the government shutdowns. We've talked
about Zelenski heading back to Washington, We've talked about well,
we hadn't talked about it yet, but apparently Trump is
going to try to set up another meeting with Putin.
I don't know if it'll wind up being a separate
but equal kind of thing like he's been talking about,
or if he's going to try to have them both
in the same room at the same time. However, while
(01:44:43):
all of that's been going on, there's been some secret
shifting happening behind the scenes with our news organizations. So,
for those of you who haven't heard yet, Comcast is
spinning away its cable channels. Odd thing for a cable
provider to do, but sure. So Comcast is completely spinning
off first In at this point, so based on those
(01:45:07):
according to Axios and Faux and Fox both have confirmed.
NBC News just asked about one hundred and fifty staffers
roughly seven percent as the Comcast first and spin off
spins up. See what I did there. A lot of
those jobs were in the diversity, verticals, translation, ideological variety
(01:45:27):
projects that finally hit the budget wall. They built echo
chambers instead of audiences, and now the bills come due
and then their cbs. According to town Halls, Met Matt Vespa,
Barry Weiss just walked in and started collecting scalps. Cleaning
house is a nicer way to put it, but I
like collecting scalps. Producers out Accountability on the way in.
(01:45:51):
Only time will tell. Even legacy media is figuring out
the truth sells better than a narrative. Are they though,
Are they really figuring that out? I don't know if
they are or not. Only time will tell, all right, So,
(01:46:12):
from classrooms to newsrooms, maybe accountability is catching on. Let's
hope it spreads and we'll find out. I guess whether
it sticks right now. It's been an interesting time to
be in this business. I will say that, all right.
So remember when I had talked about the rise of
(01:46:34):
Christianity again in the country ever since Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Apparently there's some there's some stuff going on behind the scenes.
So this is from our friends over at the Blaze
and it's referencing Ali Beth Stuckey. We're gonna get into
(01:46:54):
this as we start rounding things out before we change gears.
On October twelfth, Los Angeles based YouTube media company Jubilee
dropped an episode of its popular series Surrounded, where twenty
progressive Christians formed a ring around a single conservative Christian opponent.
Over the course of nearly two hours, the surrounders competed
for a chance to sit in the hot seat, where
(01:47:15):
each contestant had a short window of time to debate
the lone dissenter over a range of controversial issues. To
be in the eye of the storm, literally hem hemmed
in by opponents who outnumber you twenty to one is
not for the week of heart. It takes grit, self control,
and an armory of rhetorical skills and extensive expertise to
(01:47:37):
stand a chance of holding your own. But for Blaze's
Media's very own Alibeth Stucky, host of the compelling podcast Relatable,
it was just another day of dismantling progressive quote unquote
Christian narratives. In an hour and forty minutes, the toxic empathy.
Author put out a clinic on what it looks like
to cross liberal Christian arguments without ever forsaking the kindness
(01:47:59):
Jesus calls us to with surgical precisions. She graciously picked
apart argument after argument over marriage, gender, abortion, empathy, and
the compatibility of progressivism Christianity. It might seem like I'm
plugging this show that she just appeared on, and for
the record, I kind of am because I know why
it existed. So I'll be checking this out over the weekend.
(01:48:20):
Using a wide range of scripture from both the Old
and New Testaments, Ali made an ironclad case for conservative Christianity. God,
the creed of the universe, gets the final say on everything,
and I agree everything. The Christian, regardless of his or
her emotions or natural born proclivities, is called to submit
to God's ways, trusting that He alone is perfect in love.
(01:48:44):
Ali condemned the progressive Christian tendency to read the Bible
through the lens of what can I get away with.
I've been having this conversation a lot lately with some folks,
so this is interesting that because this just came up
on my this wasn't even part of my scripted notes. Folks,
this just came across my feet and encouraged readers reading
scripture in search of what God calls good, reading the
(01:49:07):
Bible to glorify God, she argued, yield conservative convictions. Marriage
unites one man and one woman, gender is fixed, abortion
is moral evil, and love speaks truth Versus Corinthians, Chapter thirteen,
verse six. The episode went viral, has already over one
point five million views, about to be one point five
(01:49:28):
million and one at some point over the weekend. Conservative
Christian World, which is experiencing revival after the assassination of
TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. Charles James Kirk, I still think
his parents wor trickis has been in all of Ali's performance,
specifically her articulate defense of traditional Christian values and the
(01:49:49):
ability to engage respectively while with the opposing viewpoints while
maintaining her convictions. Blaze Media co founder Glenn Beck said
of Ali's surrounded appearance, She's so happy. She's great.
Speaker 9 (01:50:03):
Daily Wire host.
Speaker 1 (01:50:04):
Matt Walsh echoed Glenn's praise, claiming God has clearly called
Ali to do what she's doing. But Ali's jubilee appearance
isn't just a how to course on debunking Christian progressivism.
It embodies the question all conservative Christians must answer, especially
given the moment we are living in. Are we going
to sit on the sidelines, hoping the loss to find
their way? Are we going to enter the fray armed
(01:50:27):
with biblical truth? I don't know why that sends got
to me.
Speaker 8 (01:50:31):
But it did.
Speaker 1 (01:50:32):
Conservative Mediolitive noted the importance of Ali's jubilee episode as
a firestarter for hesitant Christians who feel unequipped or unsure
about engaging in theological debates. Patriot Powered News Network praised
Ali for doing what most of us wish we had
the courage to do. She stood resolute in her faith
and made the lefts muddle theology look exactly like the
(01:50:53):
moral confusion and confoundation that it is. Ali's masterful skills
in gracious apologetics was coached by none other than Charlie Kirk,
which I didn't know. So excuse me while I try
not to react to all the dust of the room,
I just realized I haven't had my screen up this
(01:51:13):
entire time, So I apologize. But some of you were like,
it's all right, we can still hear you. What It's
better to not have your face, but here I am anyway. Yeah,
of course John Bolton pled not guilty.
Speaker 8 (01:51:27):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (01:51:30):
Yeah, of course he pled not guilty. Did anybody expect
him to do otherwise? Yeah, So there's been an update
on that, according to the chat. I hadn't seen it yet,
but I'm not really surprised. So we got to talk
about this on the way out the door. We are
well on the way out the door for this segment, anyway.
(01:51:51):
And so Pritzker is again threatening to prosecute ICE agents.
But Kenny actually do that is the question, and I
don't think he can. This is again from Mike Miller
over at Red State in this episode of the Misadventures
of J. B. Back Ribs. And that's not what he
(01:52:11):
calls him.
Speaker 8 (01:52:12):
I had lived.
Speaker 1 (01:52:13):
Illinois Governor Jab Pritzker is a special brand of arrogance. Granted,
he's hardly the sole blowhard in today's Democratic Party, but
his simmering hatred of President Donald Trump, paired with delusions
of a twenty twenty eight presidential run maybe a walk
Dealter's going to be a run, seems to inflate his
ego beyond its usual limits. A perfect case in point
(01:52:36):
occurred on Thursday, when Pritzker trotted over to PMS Now's TDS,
riddled the briefing with Jen Saki. I know they haven't
officially rebranded yet, but I'm going to start calling them
by their new name because they're almost out of time
to commiserate with former President Joe Biden's former White House
Press secretary circle back Sak about the pretend evils of
(01:52:59):
ICE immigrants and customers enforcement agents as they continue. They're
now j jeris job of rounding up illegal aliens that
were all but welcomed into the country by Biden. Asaki
kicked off the festivities thustly. You said on Sunday that
you were looking at prosecuting ICE agents who violate the law.
(01:53:20):
What can you tell us about that? What would that
look like? Great question, regardless of the fact that Pritzker
undoubtedly knew it was coming so he could prepare what
he considered to be a cogent response, it was not
very cogent. We don't know that anybody would be held
(01:53:40):
accountable at the federal levels, So we're looking at all
of the options at the local level, with country, with
county states, attorneys, with attorneys generals. To end, I quote
and this isn't emphasized by the writer. Go after people
ice agents when they're breaking Illinois law, when they're breaking
local law. To be clear, Federal Judge Sarah Ellis issued
(01:54:04):
in temporary with straining order a week ago. So none
of this makes any sense. I'm just gonna I can't.
I can't do this with jab back anymore. Look, I'm sorry,
whether you like it or not. In most cases, federal
law trump's city law. Federal law trump state law. And
we seem to have forgotten that in a lot of ways,
(01:54:26):
especially when it comes to something like immigration. And that's
not our fault. In the early days of this country,
immigration was a states rights issue. The Supreme Court took
that away. It's now a federal issue, which is why
states like Texas and everybody else were getting in trouble
when they were trying to enforce the actual laws as written,
(01:54:46):
because that wasn't what the Biden administration wanted them to do,
so it created a rather sticky widget. Now the reverse
is true. The federal government is actually trying to enforce
and uphold the laws as written. States don't really have
the you're a siction to stop them. This entire sanctuary
city argument, sanctuary state argument is just flip and re re. Okay,
(01:55:07):
it just is, and it's time that we come to
terms with it, and it's time that we figure that out.
But since we are going to be changing feeds, I'm
gonna be wrapping up here in just a moment, So again,
want to give a quick shout out to our friends
over at freedom Chat. Make sure you check them out
freedom chat dot com. Make sure you come find our
channels when you're over there. Again, if you like security,
(01:55:28):
if you like the ability of knowing that nobody can
capture anything that you talk about in the chat rooms
without your express permission and you flipping a switch, then
that's especially if you're the creator of the conversation, then
you're probably gonna want to go check them out. Also,
want to remind everybody coming up to night, he said,
She said with the lovely agurekin eight thirty pm Eastern,
And then next week instead of that, in its stead
(01:55:49):
you will have KHRN Radio's present The Day the Earth
Stood Still eight thirty pm Eastern, Friday, October twenty fourth,
twenty twenty five. Be there or B square for tomorrow night.
We have a full line up again. We have front
Porch Forensics, followed by jux Tober continues with Juxtaposition as
we do a even further deep dive into cryptids. So
(01:56:11):
we did, We've done land cryptids, we've done water cryptids,
now we're doing air cryptids, and then we have some
of the other ones that we'll be talking about next week,
and then we have a final roundtable episode on November. First.
I need to get with Bes about that because he
was supposed to be coming on I thought on the
(01:56:33):
Saturday the twenty eighth, and I guess whatever, no twenty
fifth due my math just went non mathing. But we're
gonna have probably everybody on the roundtable for that one
and let them pick out their favorite cryptid and kind
of do a rehash. So that'll probably be the perfect
spot to do that anyway. But anyway, so that is
(01:56:53):
jucks Tober again. We're doing cryptids Sunday night. Corn is
busy doing Hollywood type stuff, so that show is on
break for right now. I think there might be a
Vincent Charles project again, so make sure you guys check
out for that to make sure and don't forget it
looks like Jeff's coming back this week. Alice still not
(01:57:13):
back yet, probably won't be back until sometime in November.
So once Jeff raps, whatever time that is, we will
launch Kingdom and Country and keep up with the series
that we've started there, the Theft of Innocence, and we
looked at the New Garden of Eden, which is technologically
based in the first episode of that series. We'll be
(01:57:36):
picking up the second episode shortly, all right, So here
I think Brad may actually already be about waiting in
the wings on the other in the other studio, and
I've got some work I need to do over there anyway.
So for those of you that are paying attention to
the feeds, they'll be a quick swap here in about
a second or so, so get ready for that. Like
I said, I know it's inconvenient for you guys, but
(01:57:57):
it makes my life a little bit easier. Is Rick Robinson.
This is my show, and it is Friday. I want
to give a quick shout out to all the troops, active, reserve, retired.
I love every single one of you. You keep us safe.
You stand on the walls, so I.
Speaker 14 (01:58:17):
Don't have to bye.
Speaker 2 (01:58:19):
Everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:58:20):
Enjoy the rest of your Friday. Come join us over
on the weekend news Roundup channel. In just a minute,
(01:58:52):
say good night, Gracie,
