What advice would you have for your 20 year old self?

This is a bit of advice I wish I was able to tell my younger self now.

1. Slow down! It's not a race.
2. Eat better!
3. Take care of yourself.
4. Success is not something that is achieved overnight.

Over twenty years ago I ran a window washing service in Britain. 🧼🧼

The service was very successful and I used its profit to fund a second business; as well as coming up with new ideas for a third business!

At the time I also had a friend who was at a low point in his life and struggling. I decided to give him my window-washing business so I could spend my time in my other business and pursue a new idea I had.

Many people open multiple businesses and quickly realize that they aren't doing very well.

This has a lot to do with the fact that it is hard to run and grow multiple businesses equally.

Here are some tips on how to run multiple businesses if you have more than one:

1. Focus on the business that is making the most amount of money.
2. Outsource some of the major jobs that need to be done inside the businesses that aren't produc...

Working 18 to 20 hour days is not healthy and it's not sustainable!

A lot of people will tell you that in order to be successful you need to be hustling all day long; however, that can easily turn you into a busy fool.

The further you can move yourself away from a dollar to hour ratio the faster your business is going to grow - and the better it's going to be for you and your well being.

Sales are vanity.

A business can be making $10,000 dollars a month BUT be spending $9,900 of those dollars on advertisements.

That is why the only reality is profit!

Are you breaking even? How much are you really profiting?

If you want a successful business you need to stop paying attention to how much you are getting in sales and start paying attention to how much you are profiting.

Success can't be easily be weighed by characteristic.

However, there are a few things you MUST have if you ever hope to succeed in any area of business.

1. The ability to leverage your time.
2. The knowledge of how to sell.

The good part is you can learn both of these.

Do online courses work?

The truth is, courses that teach you how to get rich fast or start a business won't work for everyone.

Why? Well, because you are not always going to have the skills of the people who made those courses.

Comment down below if you have bought an online course. Did it work?

What did we miss?

I think there was a very important part of the interview between Jordan Belfort and Grant Cardone that was glossed over.

That was when Grant said the biggest problem was that he, "never did it big.."

What does he mean by this?

There were people, with lesser quality products, beating him in the market because they pushed more ads and marketing out then he did. They did branding better than him.

In this video, I want to talk about the importance of any business having more than one payment method.

What I mean by this is DON'T only use Paypal, Stripe, Authorize.Net, etc...

I have had multiple bad experiences with Paypal over the last ten years using it for my business.

There were times Paypal would hold all of my money from me, and I know others business owners have experienced similar things.

Don't let your business ...

One of the questions that I get asked the most goes a little like, "Steve, I want to be an entrepreneur but how can I think of a good business idea?"

Business ideas tend to be where most people get stuck.

My advice is something I have said multiple times (if you have ever watched my videos) and that is:

1. Look at what you're good at. What are your core strengths?

2. And look at what you are bad at. What are your weaknesses...

👇STOP EXPECTING RESULTS TODAY!👇

I see the mentality in smaller businesses that if they spend 20 dollars today they HAVE to make 40 dollars back tomorrow.

If not, then they just aren't interested.🙅‍♂️

The problem with that? You end up constantly chasing the dollars.

All while never really building any foundation or branding for your business.

Stop expecting results today so you can start building for the futur...

IT'S TIME TO STOP!

Stop doing things in life to make other people happy or proud.

Seriously - it's your life.

If you are going to start a business or get a job do it because you WANT to.

Not because someone told you that you couldn't

Stop doing things out of hate and negativity.

Start doing things because they interest you.

If you want to grow your business then you have to STOP penny-pinching!

And I am mostly talking about your team and new hires.

If you want good video editors, facebook lead experts, or salespeople then you HAVE to pay them what they are worth!

I see far too many business owners attempt to pay their employees the least amount they can get away with.

But, if you are hardly paying your employees then they will never really care about your...
