Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, sorry about that. We were doing stuff behind the scenes.
We do things behind the scenes sometimes mostly we put
hot sauce on breakfast sandwiches.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah, but it's a little early for that.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Billy ed. Are you the kind of person that thinks
that we should discourage young people?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Oh? Look who just walked in?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Oh I'm sorry. Did I interrupt your man talk? Sorry,
I'll just sit over here quietly in the corner.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
All right, I'll pass this one to you. Mister Kenneth.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Are you you're including me now? How nice?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Are you the kind of guy who thinks we should
discourage young people from getting more politically active?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
No, well, how young? I don't think they should be
talking to them when they're six.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
I don't know that is. I don't know if I
agree with that. I think a lot of these kids
are getting radicalized pretty young nowadays.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Mister Kenneth, Well, yeah, the schools can do that.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
But if you just sit your six year old down
and start talking politics to them, they're not gonna they're
not gonna like you very much.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
No, well, you never know. It depends on the issue, right.
Remember when we spent that day, how you could teach
kids socialism with Halloween candy.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Oh yeah, that was pretty pretty tricky. I like it though.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Basically you got trick or treating, then you take the
big kids candy and you cut it in half.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Now that that lets them know you're the government. This
is how taxes work. I'm taking this and you don't
get any say so in.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
It, and we're gonna give some of it. Not only
are we going to keep some, we're going to give
some of it to people you don't like. Oh, no,
I know, socialism, it's great.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
A lot of kids can't even stand the fact that
their mom or their father was giving candy away to
total strangers that would just come by the house. It's like, what,
can't we just keep that candy? No, no, we have
to pass it out to the strangers that come by
because they're pathetic and they're begging.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Please please may I have another?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Oh, mister, that's part of socialism too, it is. You're right,
mister Kenneth. Do you think most people know what Club
America is? Do we have to explain that at this point?
Probably have to explain it.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Club America is the high school version of TP. It's
there if you want to have a high school. When
I was in high school, I was in something called
the Junior Statesman of America.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
That was all we had. They didn't have ROTC. You
should have tried that. I don't think we did. No,
I don't think so, probably not.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
But back in the day, there weren't as many of
these groups for young people to get into politics. And
then liberals created a lot of them. I mean, I
mean a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
And it's called class We should go to school. These days,
liberals run the classroom and they are brainwatching those little
children's head.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
TPUSA Turning Point USA was very popular before Charlie Kirk's
death and since then in colleges.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
But they have to do a little something different for
the high school kids. It has become massive since his death.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
In fact, on the two month anniversary earlier this week,
a guy named Jahad violently attacked some patriot at University
of California, Berkeley for the crime of loving America.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah, it was part of it, and he's not the
first JOD to do something like that.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So here in our community, we have a high school
right on the street from here called Stratford High School.
And not to make a I'll keep a long story
short too late, you sun up. A little while back,
local leftist agitator wanted to prevent a bunch of high
school kids from starting a Turning Point USA club in

(03:17):
our community. So they docksed the high school kids. They
posted personal information about them on the internet.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Did that work? No, didn't stop them. It made it
massively more popular.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Now that's right now, it's one of the biggest Club
America groups in the country. And they're doing this again
in round Rock. I sde slow learners, ain't they. Yeah,
that's one way of putting it. Well, they are liberals.
For those of you listening to us outside of Texas,
you may not know. Round Rock is kind of an
affluent community, not Austin. It's it's Austin. Yeah, it's near Austin, Texas.

(03:48):
It's a bougie suburb if you it's nice. In fact,
that's where Texas Scorecard has their office right over there.
But I'm getting off the point. It's happened again school officials.
Instead of telling you, why, don't I have Meghan explain it.
Megan is a young woman. She's the representative for Turning
Point USA in that region of the state of Texas,

(04:08):
and she joins us right now. Megan, thank you so
much for your time this morning.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Hi, thank you guys so much for having me.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Hey, can you explain what's going on over there at
Round Rock ID?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yes, so there is a good things going on, especially
in this area. Round Rock, like you mentioned, is one
of those areas outside of Austin. It's North Austin that
is kind of its own thing where they have all
these different high schools round Rock, Io, Ron Rock High Schools,
Cedar Rich et cetera, et cetera. And the situation that's

(04:40):
going on every school is different whenever you come to
like starting clubs, And at this school, my students decided
after Charlie died, they were like, we need to stand up,
we need to do something about it. We should start
a club because we didn't know we could do that.
And so they started asking around at the process around

(05:01):
you know, mid to late September, asking about teacher sponsors
and how to start their own club. And they found
a teacher sponsor, and then they approached Turning Point and
they charted with us, and then they approached the school
and they did every single thing by the book. They
followed every protocol. They even asked their teacher if there

(05:23):
was anything they were missing. They submitted a chapter constitution,
a chapter roster, everything, and the principal, who in the past,
who has the authority to approve or deny clubs for
the various different reasons, he came and told them, oh,
I have to talk to the school board about this,

(05:45):
and he was and they were dreading their feet, and
they were saying, no, we have to get a school
board approval. And so they kept waiting and waiting and waiting,
and they, you know, kept doing everything by the book,
and yet they could not hear anything back from the principal.
They hadn't heard anything back from what was going on
the school board. And brod Rock is sd I will

(06:07):
say this, We've had a lot of issues with them
in the past regarding these clubs. But another one of
the high schools in the region has a Club America
chapter that's existed for about four years now. So they
reached out to their principal and he was very kind
to them, saying, yes, I support you. But then it's

(06:28):
starting to get to the point where they were being
whispered about behind their backs. My teachers and other students,
other students were reaching out and saying, oh, we don't
want a club like this because we don't feel safe
if they were to be a club like this, And
it just got to a point where they didn't want
to address it at all.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
All right, bottom line us here, Megan, what do we
do about this? Look here in the Houston area, we
held a big rally Ken Paxton, Attorney General Ken Paxton
and myself and a handful of others had a big
to support the kids at Stratford High School. We want
to do this for you guys at Round Rock is SD.
What can we do to support these kids?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Well, I will say this already the community has come
out and said if this is ridiculous, there should be
absolutely no reason why these students should should up their
club or shouldn't have their club.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Apologies.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
And it even got so big that liberals or lives
to TikTok. Everybody knows them, they're fantastic, they've they've spoke
about it. And then because of their reach, there were
enough community members that came out against the ISD thing
this is ridiculous. And the school is not having a
meeting this next week to approve the club on campus,

(07:42):
so that has already started to be solved. But what
I would say how you guys can help is just
to keep the pressure going because one thing these administrators
do is whenever they have the power, and they use
it over their students, which I get really upset about
because why would an adult but bullius student. That's absolutely
absolutely ridiculous. Sure to make sure that they are held accountable.

(08:05):
Let's make sure they have their first meeting, that they
don't have any more problems with administration trying to block
posters or flyers or everything like that. So whatever people
have been doing, which has been calling the school, calling superintendent,
emailing the principal, keep it up because we need these
students to know that the community is behind them, all right.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
So this is Cedar Ridge High School in round Rock, ISD.
The principal there's name is Sean Miller, and the superintendent
can be reached at round ROCKISD dot org.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
I believe is the website. Isn't that correct? Megan?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Yeah, Yeah, thank you so much. Megan from Turning Point USA.
This always has the opposite effect. You try to push
these kids away from what they're trying to do. If
I was told there's a young man not to go
to a rock concert or play a video game, or
I'll bet you were ride a bicycle on a dirt
trail some That's all I would want to do. And
I got to think, telling these kids they can't start

(09:03):
a Turning Point USA chapter, it's going to have the
exact same effect.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Oh yeah, in Houston, in Dallas, it's all over the place.
There's a students starting Turning Point USA chapters now because
the teacher in their school said, Charlie Kirk said, you
know something bad about deserved what.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
He got or whatever.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
And they're like, uh, how about no, how about we
start something here?

Speaker 1 (09:24):
How about now? How about God bless America? Yeah, how
about the First Amendment?

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Dude? Thank you so much, Meghan, We'll be right back.
It was a freak show.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It looked like the canteena bar scene out of Star
Wars Wilton and Johnson Radio Network.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
And it really illustrates how broken the media is and
how much it can't be fixed.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
They can't change.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I'm curious about this Epstein thing because in the news
earlier this week they said the Democrats voted to keep
the Epstein files away, that they voted to not release.
But aren't the Democrats also in the media especially because
they're liberal as well. Aren't they also the one saying
release the Epstein files.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
It depends who's in charge of the time and who
it benefits.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Well, they really cannot get their act together anymore. The
Democrats used to be that straight line whenever they would
present an issue, they were all on board, one hundred percent,
straight line marching. They may have been scattered in the
back rooms behind closed doors, but when they came out
in public, they were all together. Not so much anymore

(10:31):
with the Democrat Party.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
We're kind of witnessing right now what we saw with
the Republican Party back in twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen, when
these old school Republicans didn't want the MAGA movement to
take over their country club. And now we're seeing that.
But the problem is it's not While MAGA was basically
like a moderate to right center, almost like classical liberal

(10:55):
movement of nineties, Democrat political ideology combined together with economic protectionism,
not necessarily my brand of conservativism, but not extremist by
any means. What the Democrats are trying to do right
now is called full blown Marxism. Chuck Schumer was too
far to the left for the average person, but not
far enough for the AOC crowd, not even close.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
And he is everybody seems to be pretty sure. Now
he's on his way out, whether he likes it or not.
Oh yeah, he's done, dude, it is over. In the meantime,
the official ex account of the Democrat Party has deleted
a post claiming Donald Trump spent Thanksgiving with Jeffrey Epstein
in twenty seventeen. He was the president in twenty seventeen,

(11:40):
he wasn't at Like, what are you talking about? Was
he at his home at mar Algover Thanksgiving? Was Jeffrey
Epstein in the area? Did he swing by?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
We know exactly where he was on Thanksgiving because he's
a public figure and he was doing what.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Secret services guarding and protecting him, as that their job
it was supposed to be.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
He was doing white house stuff on Thanksgiving twenty seventeen, right, trumpt.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
I believe he pardoned a turkey, That's all I remember.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
So they took the post down because they were lying, obviously,
of course. And now one has to wonder will Trump
sue the DNC and would he win? And I would
imagine the answer to that's probably.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Yes, Yeah, he does occasionally sue people. As a matter
of fact, it was it Katie Kirk that was interviewing Fetterman.
I think maybe was she the one that started backpedaling,
or some other woman on some other show there was.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
They're just it's a mess. Katie Kirk has a long
history of lying to people. For those that don't know,
she famously manipulated video footage from an interview she did
with a Second Amendment.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Group years ago, a long time ago.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
And now she has repeatedly tried to bait John Fetterman
into calling Trump a fascist, and he would not bite.
He would not He wasn't interested.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
You said that Donald Trump, in your view, is not
an autocrat because his presidency is quote the product of
a democratic election. But history has shown that even leaders
who come to power through elections can still govern in
anti democratic ways. So I have to ask, when you
consider some of Donald Trump's behaviors and policies, like deploying

(13:21):
federal forces to US cities, undermining the Department of Justice,
is independence attempting to overturn the twenty twenty election, does
that not trouble you deeply?

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Well?

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Of course, I was really the tip of the spear
in the twenty twenty election in Pennsylvania, where he claimed
that it wasn't like as a fair, safe election.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Absolutely.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
I pushed back violently on that, and I don't support
many of these things that are happening right now.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I don't said. This is a long clip.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Yeah, and he never does go all right, Dan, expecting
to when he looks up at you, you know, from
under them the thick eyes or eyebrows and a forehead,
you just expecting go all right, Dan Errick.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
And it'll do the point of that sound bite, because
we don't have two more minutes to listen to it
is that John Fetterman makes the point here. He's like, oh, well,
I'm a liberal. I vote with the Democrats, but I'm
not one of these extremists that thinks that the sky
is falling and cries wolf every day.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
And Katie Kurk loses it.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
And what we were going to point out, we don't
have time for all the clips is that, and maybe
we will in a little while.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
She didn't like.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
His answer, so she repositioned the question. But most of
her questions are just statements about how much Trump.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Sucks and isn't it interesting?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Too, that this is a woman who has repeatedly disgraced
herself by editing interview footage, by editing clips to get
to make misleading statements and points, and got caught doing it.
And somehow, even though that's something the Nazis and the
Communists were famous for doing, she's pretty quick to go
out and call other people extremists or revisionists or watchers. Katie, uh,

(15:01):
you know, popmeat kettle.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
I don't know. I don't know what else to tell you. You
did the boy, You're not? You languid like at Walton
