Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're watching this old music video Buster Poindexter in the
eighties in New York City because it was hot, hot,
hot hot, and you know, he was in the New
York Dolls, but then he went off to have a
solo career as both an actor and a musician.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And in the music video in the background, Bill Hot
Jakes dancing. Yeah, Bill Murray mixing up cocktails and passing
them just kind of randomly walking around on the streets
in New York City with drinks.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, in the eighties.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I wonder what it was that made Bill Murray and
Buster Poindexter such so such good friends. Do you need
a clean eggs? No, I'm okay, no, it's just not out.
I think it's just my allergies, must be it. I
wonder why they were such good chums back in those days.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Cozy everybody is.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Have you ever seen there's this famous picture of Rick James,
Carrie Fisher, and Jack Nicholson partying together, and you always
wonder the great unit to was somewhere on a on
a coffee table in that room.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, gosh, I wonder why Rick James, Carrie Fisher and
Jack Nicholson were such good buddies. What was the thing
we'll never know. If only there were some way to
know why they were friends with each other.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Earlier, when Billion was talking about the illegals, you know,
and he was talking about the fact that the Democrats
want to abolish ice because they've killed a couple of illegals.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Democrats don't seem to want.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
To abolish illegals, even though they've killed a lot more
citizens here in America. It's it's time to play. Let
us see how good you are at the guessing game. Okay,
who said it?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Bellyead? It was Billiod? No?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Okay, I'm gonna give you the quote first, and then
you have to hear the quote. You have to say
who you think might have said that?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Okay? God, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
The presence of so many illegal immigrants makes a mockery
of all of those who are going through the process
of immigrating legally. Who said it was it?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Bill Clinton? Good guess, but no, I don't know. Yeah,
I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Bombrocka Obama, Barack Obama. All these illegals are making a
mockery of the process of legal immigration.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Before he was for illegal immigration, he was against it,
but then they told him, what is it? Kind of
like Jesse Jackson used to be really against abortion before
they let him know he was for it.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Those in the immigrants rights community who have argued passionately,
uh uh, that we should simply provide those who are
illegally with legal status okay, Yeah, or at least ignore
the laws on the books and put an end to
deportation until.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
We have better laws. Ah.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
And often this argument is framed in moral terms, got it?
Why should we punish people who are just trying to
earn a living?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Is he gonna get to the point here?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I recognize what year was a sense of compassion that
drives this argument, But I believe such an indiscriminate approach
twenty times and unfair. Yeah, it would suggest to those
thinking about coming here illegally that there will be no
repercussions such a decision.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
You get the point, You get the point, You get
the point one more time. I want to give you
one more Okay. And this didn't have to do with
immigration as much as it does with the Iranian situation.
We will attack Iran, whatever stage of development they might
be in their nuclear weapons program.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
We would be able to totally obliterate them who said it,
now that had to be Clinton. That sounds like something
Clinton would have said. Which one the bell?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Hillary?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Hillary Hilary.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Wow, yeah, we're gonna obliterate Iran because they're trying to
build a nuclear weapon. Well she was violent, Yeah, boy,
she's well they were probably responsible for killing as many
people separately as the war in Iran.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
M I got bad news, guys. Today we say rest
in peace to Brenda Fricker.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
No, no, no, Please tell me you're joking, not not
Brenda Fricker. Brenda Fricker has passed away at age eight.
One the Oscar winning actress. Damn, it's too soon, as
I'm sure we all know.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Best known for the Oscar, She won for Oscar, for
My Left Foot, for My Left Foot is with the movie.
But my left foot is what it was called Daniel
d Lewis. My left foot appeared in films like The
Field and Veronica Goren. I never heard of that, uh
making stuff up.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Freedom of the City of Dublin, anything I might have seen.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Push.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
She in The Walker, Texas Ranger. Well justified. She ever
get an at something good? She made a movie with
Donald J.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Trump.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
She did, Yeah, yeah, anybody heard of it?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Yeah? Home Alone too, lost in New York. She was
the pigeon lady.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, there was a bird lady in the park and
the birds with landowner and stuff, and she was crazy
and yeah, it was fun.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
The thing that's so interesting about that is that's how
I know her. I've never seen her in any other movie,
and she barely even talks in that movie. That's an
Oscar winning actress. That woman has an oscar. Yeah, but
not for that movie. No, not for that movie. But
that's a movie everybody in the world has seen thousands
of times and Donald Trumps in it, which I think

(05:31):
is the best part of the movie. That is definitely
the best part of the movie. Anyway, Rest in peace.
Brenda ad One died yesterday alone in the park with
her pigeons.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
So does anybody, uh, anybody spidy senses go off?

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Last night?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
When Trump was speaking, uh now, before he ever spoke,
a bunch of Democrats like AOC and that Chuck Schumer
guy that I hate so much, and a whole bunch
of them all started saying what Trump was gonna say was, oh,
it's terrible, it was dangerous, it was it was wrong,
it was evil. The networks all, well not all of them,

(06:07):
A bunch of them decided we will just not air
the president speaking. It's now imagine such a thing happening
under Barack Obama. You fail to carry a speech by him,
I don't care who he was talking to, you would
be branded a racist or treason or or worse, and
you'd be taking off. But Schumer and AOC, the Democrats,

(06:32):
the mainstream media, they all rushed out to tell you
that whatever he was going to say during his speech
was wrong. And he hadn't even said anything.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
How did they know before he said it?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
That is what might send off you little despiey senses.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
They're worried about it. He's gonna talk to us about
what this is he going to say that's going to
shake them up so much. And they didn't like it
before they heard it, and they sure didn't like it
while they were hearing it. So while Trump's talking, the
network's just decide to put their little talking head woman on,
mute him and let her talk. While he's up there speaking.

(07:09):
I think it's not so much what he says, but
who it is that's saying it. And it also is
very rude. I mean, you know he's still speaking. If
you don't want to air it. Shut it off, but
don't just leave it back there. We can't hear him.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
That's just wrong.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
It is wrong and makes you believe that what he
was saying is probably one hundred percent true. Yeah, because
they wouldn't be that upset about it if it wasn't.
The truth hurts and it scares the hell out of them. Well,
I'm pretty upset about it. Yeah, I bet you are. Yeah,
what are you gonna do this about it? This weekend, I'm.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Gonna watch Trump when he's on TV instead of letting
CBS's Margaret Brennan talk over him. That's what I'm gonna do.
And then this weekend I'm gonna do a stand up
comedy show in Orange, Texas with a bunch of my buddies.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
That'll make you feel better. And then afterwards we're probably
going to go to a bar, a dive bar. Well,
get cheap drinks. I have too much to drink. We'll
take an uber back to the hotel because we don't
drive drunk. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, take that. You mentioned earlier.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
How smart our audience is, our listeners just they're on
top of everything, most of them. Here's a question for you,
shuret if OJ is innocent, as a lot of people
would still try to convince you he is.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
And the title of his book is, after all, called
if I did it?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah, go on, if he's innocent, why is his car
in a crime museum?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well? Later on?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Okay, at the very least, he wasn't supposed to go
on a police chase. There you go, uh huh, there
you go. I think you know the real answer. Whoa
did you just do racism?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Did you just imply that a black man was guilty
for a crime that he was already exonerated for. Yes,
I did, mister Rowe. I'm I'm offended for you, mister Rowe.
I'm with him on his God damn it. Today's show
has got to you by the heat.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Don making pickstays cool again.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Good morning. I'm Wilford Brentley, and i'd like to talk
to you for a few minutes about Walton and Johnson.
There's a freak raccoon running around Seattle, and no one
gets They think it's a choop of cabras. If one
would go that far north, it is cobre.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
That's a Texas, a Mexico kind of a thing.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yeah, the thing that's running around in Seattle is just
a raccoon. It's got a kind of a belated body,
and then it's it's missing its tail.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
It's just a raccoon that looks it's got a kind
of an Ed Sullivan neck thing.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Me.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Now, it has no neck. The head just comes right
out of a little hump and its shoulders.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
And they're calling it Jimothy. It's become a social media star.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
It walks really funny and creepy. And when it's kind
of a dark and you can't really see it too well,
it is a little strange looking.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah. Now, if you make your way over today to
the Walton and Johnson Instagram account, you're gonna see one
of our ideas that we have for a fun thing
you could do this summer. If you don't have any
summer plans, I would recommend Houston. Houston just a fun place.
Look at that man, that looks like a good time.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Where is that happening?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
This would be in the streets of the East Side,
not a part of town where you often go. It
is unbelievable. Now, this is one of the biggest street
brawls I've ever seen, not involving any men. Only involving
women and a lot of women.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Oh yeah, oh, well that's that one, right, dude. That's
a lot of women right there.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah, that's he's saying that she's a big girl.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
And some men are getting up close and looking at it,
but they're not really engaging.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Oh, they don't want to get involved in that.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
There's one gentleman here wearing a Nirvana shirt. Something tells
me he's not a fan. I don't know where he
got that. Yeah, probably, okay, we do. I'm sure he
bought it, that's for sure, with his own money.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
And these women have baseball bats that they're using. Uh
huh uh. It looks anyway.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Houston a fun place to spend east side, man, that's
where you want to roll.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah, make your way on over there.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
From the mind of the Walton Johnson listener, they were
just we were just talking about how some of the news,
the media, the networks didn't want to carry Trump or
cut away from him because he didn't want to hear
what he was saying. Yes, sir, well, h looks like
here's the plan. How about every one of those networks
and news agencies that muted Trump, didn't air him or

(11:19):
cut away from him not allowed back into the press
conference from now on? How about that, because I think
that's more fair than what he's suggesting, which is take
away their FCC license.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Says right here.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
They don't want to hear what Trump has to say,
So why let them in the press conference anymore? Kick
them out, kick them all out, put them on the road,
tell them they'll have to tell their boss. Well I
didn't get the news because you know he wouldn't list
in there.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Look, they don't want to cover the important stories. Well
we're not like that. On your favorite morning show, we
do cover the big story.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
What's here comes to Florida Man, a late breaking Florida
Man report from Florida.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
All right, so there's this guy in Florida and this
report's brought to.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
You by oh Heywood Harvest Man. A great way to
kind of kick the weekend off today. We've got some
of that Heywood Harvest products there, and if you don't,
you can get them real easy.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Just go to heywoodrvest dot com.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Throw that promo code around, like you know, people, and
you'll save even more money. Amen to that promo code
code wj no no wnj wnj.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
They just thought it that easy to remember promo code
and then you forget it. No, I'm sorry, it's late
in the show. I was doing too many things at once.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Oh oh, I see we had an excuse for our failures. Well,
as long as we had an excuse.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
I don't claim to be smart. I have average intelligence.
I have to write down the promo codes like the
rest of you. Go to Heywarvest dot com use promo
code WNJ. Don't go to the Flagler County Sheriff's office
if you are planning to take a court ordered drug test. Okay,
that's it happened recently to one gentleman, fifty four year
old man now fifty two year old man sorry, name

(12:55):
James Shepherd gets pulled over and according to the sheriff's office,
it's because his license was suspended. Now they knew, you know,
he was riding dirty. As the kids said, that's what
they say, ride and dirty. That's a violation of the
felony probation he was serving for multiple crimes that he
had committed, multiple burglaries and thefts.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Because it can you even begin to think like a
person like that, I mean, obviously they're not thinking too much.
How is it that you've done time, you've got probation.
You are aware of what it's like to be locked up.
It's not good. And somebody says, now, if you do
any of these things, we're going to block you up again, right,
And then they go and do those exact things that

(13:35):
they told him not to do. What kind of mindset
is that any human?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Some people probably want to be in jail. Some people
are crazy. Well, this guy was out riding dirty, not
unlike a millionaire and crazy bone back of the day.
Oh you've heard, yeah, yeah, And so anyway, he's in
the gets taken into the police car and they're riding
him off. Driving on a suspended license was crime number one.

(13:58):
Crime number two was strapped to his groin. According to
the police, what Shepherd had strapped to his groin was
what the Sheriff's office referred to as a jerry rigged wizonator.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Oh oh okay, this is they when you go in
to do a drug test. I don't know if you're
aware of this, because none of our listeners have ever
had to, you know, face criminal charges for the people
get caught for this all the time. Pretty common. They
have a fake wiener.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah, it's called it's a fake bladder technically, but yes,
for fake urine, and he got caught. There was a
heating pad wired to it. A fake penis attached.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Now, for comedy's sake, I hope he went large with
the fake attachment. That detail isn't metro, but thanks to
the camera and the patrol car, there's a video evidence
of him ditching the device.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Here's James Shepherd being talked to by the office.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
What is it? I don't know what that is, James.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
I have you on video pulling out a pea bag
out of your pants. Okay, I'm not stupid. I clean
this car. I'm responsible for what is in this car.
I am frustrated because I asked you if you have
anything on your person. I know, Okay you did, you did,
and you're lying to me.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
So if you want to go down the rabble hole
lying and see where this ends up, I'm more than
happy to do it.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Now all Jerry James, excuse me, how to do? Was
stop doing the things the government told him to do.
That we're illegal stuff everybody else is already not doing.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Don't do this, We'll put you back in prison. And
that that's what he did.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
And now James Shephard, age fifty two, of Palm Coast
apparently was a little too pea brained to beat his
life sentence on probation. He's off to jail, He's off
to prison. It turns out life. No, I don't think
it's that long. No longer than you'd want to be there.
I don't think anybody wants to go to jail or prison.
It's not much fun. I think you got to crack
down on these people.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
You know, why people do stuff like that, because they're stupid,
because we didn't do enough to stop them the first time.
It looks like with these idiots in the news running
around on TV doing all this breaking the law, you know,
deliver grants come to this country because we don't do
nothing to the ones that we're here already. Yeah, we
let it happens a bad message to the rest of

(16:06):
the world. But you let me get in charge for
a couple of weeks, and I think that'll turn around
real quick.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Well, some people belong in jail, some people belong in prison,
Billy me. And for some people it's the best place
for them, and God bless them. Enjoy your cold concrete
cell and your disgusting food and your uncomfortable bed, and
that's where you'll remain. That is it? Sorry, this is
you know what John used to.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Say, don't forget girls to eat it every day.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Hey again, you've reached the end of the Walton and
Johnson podcast. Good for you. That means you listened all
the way to the end.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Does that mean we're going away now never to be
heard again? No, no, no, there will be a new
show tomorrow. Oh thank goodness, unless it's the weekend or
we're off work. But as always, you could go to
