I like the handheld recording quality of https://veed.io and think I will pay for my own watermark and for space to save recordings. Thanking Gena Haskett https://twitter.com/GenaHaskett for sharing her thoughts on Veed.io and on workflow.

You can see a video clip with subtitles generated by veed.io on my Flickr account at https://www.flickr.com/photos/irisheyes/52195834155

I saw the mirror image of myself in the highly engaging audio my 11yo did during the month of June 2022. That's Dylan in the cover art with a piece of his work. I hope to continue to hear most of the voices who shared this year and encourage people to hang their audio on services that generate downloadable podcast content. You can find mine by asking for "Topgold Audio Clips."

My Tumi bag has a QRC link. Inside its luggage tag is a Popl NFC identity disk. And in my pocket is a Tappy card that lets me share details by tapping a phone. I'm also enjoying threaded convos sparked by https://twitter.com/gregbd

Sharing how I read the Sunday papers. For me to see what's happening, the stories have to drop into my Stoopinbox. I also use Readwise, Instapaper, and Pocketcasts for my Sunday routine.

Responding to Greg Dickson in Canada after he asked how we are dealing with lingering effects of a global pandemic. I have reset my behaviour and no longer think I need to go to work when I have a deep cough or flu. And now that we have restored normal service, I relish doing all the things we used to enjoy as part of life. Cover art was snapped while seated outside of a local cafe in Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.

You can help replace foam mats with real mattresses in pediatric hospitals in Ukraine by dropping spare change into https://donorbox.org/matresses-for-ukraine

Ukrainian hospitals lacked resources before the war and hostilities stretched resources even further. Mattresses are poor. Patients often have only thin, worn and stained foam pads as mattresses. The Donor Box Campaign will improve hospital facilities for young children in ped...

I was wrong about the owner of Slideshare--it's Scrib. I hope to get a Ricoh Theta X or some kind of portable 3D scanner. If you're like me, you like see highlights people share on the Kindle books they're reading. BIG WIN: We are converting more than 3.3% of people visiting our booking engine. In fact, nearly 6% of people landing on http://ictedu.ie/booking attend the annual ICT in Education Conference. Cover art is sn...

Recorded during a May Bank Holiday under the gazebo of the Ashgrove Cabin. Cover art of my view looking at a door that needs black paint.

I'm trying to complement my day with a simple audio blog item. I've made these occasional audio blogs since 2010 and four years ago I tried to import a string of them into Spreaker. They remind me of unfinished tasks. I can hear my own voice telling me what I'm trying to do. Today, I&#...

It's time to narrow my focus so I can deliver a high quality content stream for the annual ICT in Education Conference. That means drilling down into activity streams of teachers and then harvesting interesting ideas through Notion that can be shared during the conference and on https://ictedu.ie/ict-in-education-blog

I'm thinking about a routine that we're trying to choreograph for the ICT in education conference. It&#...

Offering some thoughts arising after a Twitter thread with @gregbd. There's a public page on Notion with background info at https://bit.ly/notionpkm

I'm scraping through COVID. And I have some PKM ideas I'd like to share.

The motivation comes from Greg Dixon in Alberta, Canada. As you can tell, Greg, if you're listening, my voice is not back to normal. As I recover, I am prodded to think about how artificial int...

I made a big error by selecting Microsoft Sound Mapper over Realtek Microphone Array on my Surface Book. The result sounds terrible on a classroom recording for @ictedu and now I wonder if I should recut the episode.

I see what people are thinking when I look at what they are searching before they land on https://insideview.ie. I also enjoy my new Sony Extra Bass Bluetooth earbuds. I hope several of the thoughts I have here can cross-pollinate the Edtech from Ireland podcast. Wondering if old voices like Phil Sorrell still use https://last.fm

Trying to remaster the fine art of ducking audio sound effects. It's easier when using my Samsung Note than it is when using Spreaker Studio on my Microsoft Surface Book. That's one of our Axolotls posing as cover art on this clip.
