colossal failure Iraq was and us going into Iraq. I'll
take it all the way back to George hw Bush

along with Iran. Now you want to go do a
deep dive on the history of our relationship with Saddam
Hussein and Iraq and how we were egging him on
and helping him and encourage him to go after Iran
and the war that happened between those countries. Go ahead,
do that. Okay, it's enlightening, quite frankly, But let me

tell you what's going on right now. Iraq's government just
signed a deal with the Chinese Goojade Petroleum to expand
production at the Tuba oil field, build a refinery and
two power plants. Yeah, it's also going to involve the
construction of a petrochemicals facility and a fertilizer plant. The

refinery will build, we'll have a capacity to two hundred
thousand barrels a day and power plant capacity of six
hundred and fifty megawatts. Okay, big leap. In the development
of Iraq's wealth and supporting the national economy, Chinese companies have,
as a whole have built a solid presence there, driven

by a Beijing strategy to expand supply availability through both
domestic and international investments. To date, wait for this, more
than a third of Iraq's proven oil and gas reserves
and as much as sixty six percent reduction are under
the management of China. Yeah, uh, you're great. You know,

we went in and blew up the place, and oh yeah,
we got rid of Saddam, got rid of Saddam, killed
ungodly amounts of civilians in Iraq for nothing, for nothing
cost us, cost us a fortune in capital treasure, but

even worse, it cost us lives. And what do we
get for that nothing? I mean, honestly, when you think
the people in Iraq are gonna warm to America, America,
are you kidney? Okay? China smart, China smart. Well, let's

(02:48):
let the United States spend uh, spend all of their money,
break into place, and then we'll just come and clean
up when it's over and end up owning it. Great job,
