Your taxpayer dollars—yes, yours—have been working overtime. Not to help kids, not to support struggling families… but to fund terrorism. And no, this isn’t “just Minnesota’s problem.” Federal dollars were in the pot too.
In this episode, we break down:
 • How billions in welfare money were siphoned off through state-run programs
 • Why federal investigators believe large sums were sent overseas to an al-Qaeda–linked terror group
 • How a hyper-bureaucratic, “don’t offend anyone” political culture allowed fraud to flourish
 • Why judges are giving shockingly light sentences even after convictions
 • And why Washington keeps funding states that repeatedly fail to oversee basic programs
This isn’t about immigration—it’s about incompetence, bureaucratic cowardice, and a welfare system so poorly designed that criminals can exploit it for years while politicians look the other way.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it will have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Your taxpayer dollars working hard for you funding terror? That's right.
How about that, your tax dollars funding terror?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
You like that?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yeah? Billions, billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen in
the state of Minnesota. State of Minnesota under Governor Timbols. Okay,
And again people are saying it's just oh, it's just
a Minnesota taxpayers. No, no, no, no. The Feds kick

(00:50):
in for this as well. You got democratic state officials,
one of the most generous welfare regimes in the country.
This fraud, this fraud was perpetrated by members of Minnesota's
Somali community. I'm gonna throw this out here, and I

(01:15):
don't want people are racist. Listen, Okay, I am like,
I have no problem with immigrants into this country. I don't.
I don't. For the life of me, I don't know
why we would be mass in essence, importing people from

(01:38):
a certain climate, certain region, then moving them to this region.
None of these people really want to be American at all.
My first experience landing in Minnesota, this is actually for
the Republican National Convention in Romney. No, I'm sorry McCain.
McCain was running for president at US truth eight. Yeah. Anyway,

(02:02):
my first time in Minnesota, I land at the airport,
everything I had to do and go again, I'm dealing
with people in Burkers there and I'm like, what fact
did they drop me off in the wrong country here?
And I'm scratching my head on this back then at
that point in time and again I get it. Okay,

(02:26):
this you know, why are you here? Why are you here?
Why come here? And there are other areas of the
world that you would feel more comfortable. I'm saying. I mean,
when you when you have people feel more comfortable then
places that have they embraced Burkers that's their thing anyway. Anyway,

(02:49):
now they're here nor there, okay. Federal counter terrorism sources
confirm that millions and millions of dollars in stolen funds
have been sent back to Somalia, where they have gone
to the terror group Al Shabad. Okay. The largest funder

(03:15):
of Al Shabad is Sabab, excuse me, is the Minnesota taxpayer,
and of course, well the American taxpayer because we helped
kick in as well. Who is Al Shabab? It's an
islam is an Al Qaeda linked Islamist insurgent and terror group.

(03:37):
It has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization was
in nineteen. In two thousand and eight, it is considered
one of the world's most lethal and wealthiest Al Qaeda affiliates.
The goal is to overthrow the government of Somalia, eliminate
foreign influence, establish a greater Somalia under a strict interpretation

(04:02):
of Sharia law. The group employs a range of tactics,
including suicide bombings, complex assaults on hotels, assassinations, and use
of improvised explosive devices. They target government security forces, peacekeepers, civilians,
including aid workers, and journalists. Now again, your tax dollars

(04:28):
are funding them. They looked into this and they said,
what happens when a tribal mindset meets a bleeding heart bureaucracy,
When imported clan loyalties collide with a political ass too
timid to offend, and when the accusations of racism are

(04:50):
cynically deployed to shield criminal behavior. The predictable result is graft,
with taxpayers left to foot the bill it goes on.
There's so many different fraud programs with all of the
welfare and everything that's handed out. You know, it's amazing

(05:11):
to me though. You know again they were with the
scam that they were using with kids with autism, everything
that was pulled off to fund to fund a terror
group here in the United States with tax dollars. Where's
where's Pam Bondy on this? Where's Ice on this? It

(05:31):
could be me calling me crazy, but shouldn't these people
be throwing the hell out of the country? I mean,
correct me if I'm wrong here. Okay, you mean to
tell me that this this group, the ones that are
perpetrating this fraud, that they're they're contributing more to the
body politic here in the United States than could be

(05:55):
me calling me crazy. Maybe some of this uh immigrants
we could be getting from South America that just so happened.
Maybe our Catholic just throwing that out there, throwing it
out there, you think that, I don't know, could be mean?
Why didn't get ice out of the couple home depot lots?
And why don't why don't you send them there to Minnesota?

(06:19):
Why aren't you squashing this? I'm trying to get my
arms around this quite frankly, and again I get into it.
The amount of fraud, the amount that has been stolen.
It it's it's insane. And not only that, it was
a recent case, recent case where judges people are getting

(06:42):
caught with this fraud and judges, liberal judges in Minnesota,
after being convicted by a jury are letting them go.
Uh huh. Again, I don't know what's going going on
up in that state, and I don't know. I guess

(07:05):
serious woke mind virus is obviously completely taken over. Yeah,
at some point in time, you know, at some point,
because we we you know, we kick all our federal
dollars of Washington in DC. Then Washington, d C. Starts
shooting around the country. You know, shouldn't shouldn't these these
funds be cut off from from Washington going to these

(07:27):
states if they can't manage their own books. And this
is happening, I mean, for crying out lot, we're funding
terror groups now with with autism money, housing money, you
name it. Watchdog and Wall Street dot Com
