Cori Broadus chatted up with Kimberly JESICKA on iHeartRadio about her new makeup line CHOCC HQ and the ongoing attacks Black women face online simply for existing. She opened up about her journey with lupus and how she created CHOCC HQ as a powerful movement to uplift and celebrate dark-skinned women. As the daughter of Snoop Dogg, Cori is using her platform to spread love, empowerment, and beauty for all.

What does this journey mean for you?

I mean, I feel like you don't realize what's happening
until you're in settings like this. I have a lot
of moments where I'm like, why, why is this my life?
Why did God set up this for me? But the
words that you just said to me is you did
it for a reason, you know what I mean, To
help the next person and to give people faith and
hope that are in my current situation that you can

do whatever you want to be, you know what I mean.

And I don't know.

I just thank God every day for putting me in
position to do what I need to do, especially me
being sick and all the things that I've been through,
you know what I mean. So I'm just super blessed
to be able to live and share my story.

It's beautiful because even online, black women get attacked a lot.

We could we could even alive, man, Like, what is
the hatred about? So I'm really.

Happy let me women like you ain't the black women.

It's a tall environment, you know what I'm saying.

Once you're teaching us how to learn to love each other,
we don't have that time to turn each other down.
But you know that's what talk is about. To put
each other up.

To be able to have their own lane and create
something as a partnership, twit, it's all the problem. I'm
just here to support, but to be able to taking
an idea that they had and to maximize it to
get some real partners. You support them because they started
with this out of their own house, you know, packaging and.

The doing it on their own.

So now for them to have a major partner that's
helping him take us to another level.
