was great. This show started at ten fifteen, it ended
at like eleven fifty five. He had at our forty
minutes four matches. Everything was tight, almost no filler. There's
almost nothing I disliked about this. There's nothing I hated
about it, except for when I'm going to be hyperbolic,

which of course is what I'm going to do. I
have nothing to really complain about. There were things I
was prepared to complain about that I can't even complain about,
which is, I guess, a sort of complain in and
of itself. There were a couple of downs, but I
don't think that there was any real lows. And I
had fun watching this show. I mean, I just did

the review earlier today with Marie Shadows on the MLW
Don Gatto X Show, and it's like they had so
many former WWE people. I think they forgot who they
were and they were trying to do like a different
type of show, and they have a partnership with CMLL,
and I don't know, it's just like it didn't feel right,
Like I think they need to take notes on blending

because it seems like they forgot how to how to
blend things a little bit. But this was great. The
production was great, it looked beautiful, it was in Mexico City.
I thought it was a monterray. I don't know why.
I mean, everything looked great and it was festive, and
I didn't care that I didn't hear any English commentary.
I just I didn't care, even for a half a second.

You're talking about blending the styles, and I think right
now it's really good and I'm going to talk about
it a little bit more when we get to the
mixed tag match. But overall, I just felt like everything
was tighter the Luca sometimes like, and I'm gonna again

especially this show, you could clearly see ww production, meaning
things made sense, but without removing what makes Sluca lucha.
There was fast paced, there was a lot of you know,
high flying stuff, but I felt it was placed well

in a way where it did make sense to the
point where I and I'll get to that more when
we go to the second match. But you know, overall,
like I don't think I've seen like a match from
Psycho Circus that made any sense, but this one had
a structure, it wasn't too long. There was things where

I was like scratching my head and I was expecting that,
but overall it was like, damn okay. I believe Undertaker
and Shavo Guerrero are working as agents now and it showed.
So anyway, well, we'll get into the show itself, and
of course the nice people on the chats if you

I know they always present the father, the grandfather, you know,
the founders, like tradition in history is very important in
Mexican wrestling, Lucha lebroy so we always see those. Michael
Jackson the gentleman on it. The only thing I got confused,

So we see Laredo Kid getting the commentary and I
first thought it was like a triple A Cruiserweight match,
but no, it was for the number one contender ship
for this title. So that's why Laredo Kid, which is

the actual champion, showed up. And of course, going into
what you were saying, we had Axiom versus Javan Evans
versus October and Junior for the Cruiserweight number one contendership.
They announced it as elimination match, but maybe I missed

something was there was there.

No it said listen. It was in Spanish, but I
definitely saw the word that translates to eliminator, and so
I was confused. Whether it was a number one contenders
match or the loser got eliminated now could mean the
same thing, because maybe the match is a triple thread
no matter what. But obviously there's been stories going on
that involved WWE people with Triple A that I don't

know about because I only watch n XT Evolve and
the WWE Triple A shows on YouTube, which are you know,
monthly or bi monthly whatever, But there's clearly things happening
in between. Maybe their reference on main roster shows, I
don't know. I don't hear about them on soup or whatnot.
That's all right, it's easy to catch up. But yeah,

it was a number one contender match, and you know
familiar faces like Axiom, who's a luchador that he's from Spain,
Javon Evans who currently fits in with this and they
the crowd loved him, and Octagon, who's such a good
ninja that he's so sparkly, he doesn't even he doesn't
even need to hide, he's so good at it.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
I thought this match was just perfect to start the show.
It showed like how equal the three opponents were. We
had three baby faces like in this match, so they
all look good. It was very fast, there was an
equal shine for all of them. He really was impressed
by Octagons, like spinning, crossbody kind of things he was doing,

and there was no dead time like I often like
say how much I don't like multi men, even like
thriples red, because there's always someone outside waiting, and you
could see them waiting, but for this one, they would
get like a bigger hit and then sell for a

(12:50):
while and then come back into the action. And it
was always like I really love the pace of doing
something in a ring. One dive, back in ring, another
dive and back in the ring, and another dive. I
felt it was I felt it was really well planned
and for for someone who's like no secret I like,

(13:13):
I like like hard hitters like Ilia Dragonov or Guinter
or more the kind of wrestling I like to watch.
But in this case, I love this cruise ofweight match,
Like they tried several pin the other guy was breaking it.
I don't know why. At one point, I don't know
if everybody saw that, but on the screen while they

were wrestling, there was like mail models going on. I
was like, what the fuck is that? But I mean,
like there's there's publicities like all over all the time,
and but yeah, this match, like they have like a
triple down and the flipping fallaway into U you know,

(13:57):
a break from the fall, and they were selling everything
like a lot of high flying matches, like there's barely sell.
They just get up and get into the next spot.
But they were selling so good. At one point, like
Javon was he got like a nasty four point fifty.
I was like, oh my god, like is he all right?

But he would it's he looked like it was crying
and like gasping for hair, and I was like, I
wanted to tear for him. And that's that's the job
of a babyface, which was so well done. And I
mean actually hit a Spanish Fly which protected Octagon Junior
because he kind of rolled away. And that's where I
got confused, because I was like, was he pinned? And

I did not see it because I saw the word elimination.
But anyway, Spanish fly Octagon selling such a big move
was away when the young Og hit the og cutter
and then one from the top rope to win this match,
and and yeah, overall, great great match to start a show.

Krawd was into it. Yeah, I felt the placement of
this one was great and yeah, like I don't know
if there's anything else you want to add to this,
but yeah, it's it was lucha and high flying then
makes sense and that they were selling and I was like, fuck,
that's that's the kind of high flyers. I want to

see because I can believe everything they're doing and they're
so good at it.

It was definitely a WWE US style influenced Luca match.
There wasn't all the silliness of LUCA. There wasn't all
the like, you know, somebody just touches somebody's heels and
flips them over, and you know, all of the you know,
coordinated you know, group dives for no apparent reason. And
you know what Ray Phoenix used to do in AW

you know, like he would do eight point jumping off
ropes and just to do like an arm drag. So
it was I mean it's high energy, but like for
a Luca match, it was like efficient and axiom. You know,
WWE guy tag team guy took took the l to
protect the Octagon. Javon Evans, the young guy everyone wants
to be, you know, gets when and he's and he's

(16:13):
the number one contender, and you know, I don't think
it's any accident that we've seen both Octagon and Larao
Kid spend time in NXT. A little bit of evolved
a little bit of in TNA for Laredo. I don't
know about Octagon. Yeah, they've probably obviously gotten to know
each other a little bit and some reps. But yeah,
I thought the match was really enjoyable and you're right

(16:34):
to start the match. It was good pacing, but it
was also smart for a WWE I want to say
North America, but Mexico's part of North America, so it's
like for like a WWE audience. It wasn't you know.
They could have easily started with the eight man match,
which could have been sillier than it was, and it
actually wasn't. But I thought that's what we were going to

get and we didn't, and so yeah, I was so far,
so good. Javon Evans, I guess is the number one
contender again. I'm not sure if it's a triple threat
or not, but whatever, Javon Evans against Laredo kid. You know,
maybe that's in the December card they're talking about. Hopefully
that'll be on the YouTube channel, but yeah, sign me up.

Cycle they actually build that for December twenty eighth. So
that's that's a pretty good match I'm looking forward to.
And I felt like you were talking about like the
multi MN like the tag team four on four. I
felt it was like placed perfectly into the second spot
so you get you get the crowd going with all

the excitement of the triple threat for the cruiser weights,
and then you get into something more not necessarily slower,
but it's like totally different because we had Dorian Florence
l Hoso versus the Psycho Circus and Pagano, well, the
Psycho Circus was like, uh, Pagano murder clown, Cycho clown,

and I believe Panic clown. I didn't. I wasn't sure
about the other name because there's also Monster Cloud, but
he would he was a little bit smart, so I
I think I heard Panic, but I could be wrong.
And El Hojo was El Messias, Mecha Wolf Sanson and
Forestero and this matches started with Mecca and Pegano going

into punches and chops. Everybody went to the outside. They
were selling for a long time, a long time for
not months. That kind of bothered me a little bit,
and I didn't I didn't know it wasn't no rule
until like they went out and got all the shits
like the candos and the cookie sheets. So I'm like, okay,

there's no rule. It's gonna be like a brawl whatever.
And then they go back in the ring and then
they go for a tag. I was like, what the fuck?

Rules or there's tags, and so I was like, okay, whatever,
but I think it's the only tag. After that, it
was just like a mess. They had the Dorion going
on the apron and bid the big clown Murder Crown
was not selling the heel took over a little bit,
beat the shit out of the big clown, which I

kind of figured out was Murder Clown at this point,
and he went for a very cool like double someone drop,
which was really impressive, and that got cycle Clown in
for a good comeback to work the crowd. He's really
good at working the crowd. And they had like a
double tope through the ropes in the corner, which I'm

always scared somebody's legs are gonna get stuck in the
ropes and they're gonna end up on the post, but
this one went really well. They went into a series
of falses that started with Mecha Wolf. He does that
cool like it's like one leg springboard like spinning DDT,
Like he's on the first rope and his other leg

is like wrapped around the second. Anyway, it's pretty cool.
Move and they went into a waterfall where everybody did
like big moves and no pins just so everybody would
be down besides Cycle Clown, Sensin and Forestero and you
and I were texting each other while we were looking

at this, like watching this match, and right after, like
murder Clown went for a tower. He goes on the
top rope and the ref is helping him. I'm like, okay.
I was like, well, I mean they got some shit
in the ring and then there was a tag and
then there's no tag, and I was like, okay, it's
a cycle clown match. It doesn't it's lutcha. It doesn't

make sense. But at least the finish was kind of cool.
You know, Spanish fly on a chair, which was a
little scary ish, but you know, Murder Crown Clown's crossbody
to the outside holding the referee's hands was it was
kind of impressive. Then Cycle Clown went into a flip

toepe onto Mica Wolf onto the tables, and I was like, god,
Tim Dum must have been like a shit bump to take.
I was like, fuck Matt. But anyway, you know, Psychic
Circus wins. Doriana's pissed he leaves and before we'd go
to the aftermatch. Anything you want to mention about this one,

it's like it was a bit of everything, but at least,
you know what, it was short enough so I didn't
scratch my head too often. The way I do it.
I watched a cycle clown match because it was it
was NonStop and it went and it's like, okay, that's
it was. It's perfect for match number two, which is

the match where as a booker, you put the one
that's either gonna go, you know, the one you expect
to go like or or that's gonna be completely different
from the first one, which was here. So yeah, it
was what it was. Anybody he enjoyed this one? How

Yeah? I mean the only problem with this match is
that you knew who the winners were going to be
because only one team is in the program with the
y At six and they have the tag team titles,
so you know, normally went into a non title match
and then there's a whole bunch of people. Did someone
on the champions team loses so that the other team
you know, has a claim for it. But you know,
and this faction, which I guess they're called the I

is sort of new because El Masayas recently re signed
with which trop Bla. Of course, I know him as
milmware Taste, which is so strange that he looked like
a giant in Lucha osdig He's I mean, he's a
thick guy, but he's basically you know, sure and I
like Mecable. I remember Mecable from Lawa Belli Jone. I'm
pretty sure they were Impact Tag Team champions. I know

they were in them champions for a long time. I
think they like held the titles like three times over
a two teas anyway, So I am not exactly sure
where Led Beasts six six six is. But I didn't
know who the other two guys were. I just called
them left and right because they're the eyes. It looked
like Dorian just abandoned his team, which you know would

have been the first of two abandonment storylines, but I'm
not sure if that storyline Okay. Psycho Circus, I actually
like Psycho Clown quite a bit. I do not like
Pegando at all. I feel like he's sort of like
the worst aspects of drunk Jeff Hardy and Sandman, which
I guess is the same thing with with with you know,
clown makeup on. I was prepared to assume the Pagano

was the second best of the of the Psycho Circus,
and that the other two guys who I called Penny
Wise and Mick Foley, because I'm pretty sure that was
Mick Foley in there. But apparently you're saying it's a
murder clown and terror clown. That's fine. I'm gonna stick
at Penny or we could call him Abyss whatever, the
short John Tenta whatever. They actually could wrestle. They actually

weren't bad, and I've only seen them together as a group,
you know, as a five some months before, and it
was pretty sloppy. Maybe as a force and makes all
the difference, but I thought this match was a lot
of fun. I thought it was a little ridiculous that
the ref is helping the guy up. I do remember
that there were some ladder matches where ref's I think
it was an aw match where they held the the

you know, the the ladder so that Hobbs wouldn't fall down,
and you know, I get it. The safety of the
wrestler and the equipment was shaky and rinky. Dig This
is just a guy who can't climb up to the
top rope by himself and maintain his own balance. So
maybe like he's in the wrong career. But the spot worked.
And you know, like you said, I hear you. I
like every hour on the hour, at the top and

bottom of the hour, I said to myself, Lucia's silly.
It doesn't matter. Lucia silly, it doesn't matter. So lucias silly,
it doesn't matter. The aftermath, this is the only part
that left me hollow, because I think the crowd, like
and me, probably you and everyone else watching assume we'd
get the wy at six coming in. We didn't quite

what we got was good. It was you know, Bo Dallas,
you know, sort of like the Ring kind of VHS

and that will happen December twenties, so I'm all into that.
But when we came back, everyone was dead silent because
they were waiting for the lights to go out and
the Wyat six to come out and clob with them all.

They had their phone in their hands waiting for something
to happen. But no, once, uncle, how do you promised

they were in the ring and you were like they

Rout into it. They tried to get the energy back

you know it was done everyone and people sort of
caught on, but like for a good thirty seconds, they're like, Okay,
why know the light's going out, when's like Eric Rowan
coming out, when we when we see Nicky Cross like
spit blood on people, I mean, and it didn't happen.
So that that left me, I guess, sort of scratching

my head. I mean, they didn't pay it for them
to go down. I get it, but so not scratching
my head, but that that left me sort of, you know,
wanting more, but not like in a not like necessarily
in a good way. But I'm down for the match
down the road. But yeah, that was I mean, that's
my biggest criticism of the entire show.

It's not bad if it's only that. I mean, you
can't give them what they want all the time to
they gotta buy a ticket for on December twenty eight
to see the actual why it's six.

Problem was he was acting like a heal the entire time,
so the turn wasn't a surprise. I mean, like Kingo
is not a good actor. I don't I don't really
get the hype with VIKINGO. I think that the Mexican
fans were just waiting to turn obvious. I think he's
sort of like he sort of they probably feel like
we did of like the big dog Ruman reins here
where like no matter what, they were forcing him down
our throat and like he was like the flavor of

the month and Neltser loved him and they w loved
him and everyone loved him, and I'm like, this guy's absurd.
I mean, okay, I'm not criticizing someone for you for
giving themselves a sign of the Crucifix before in the match.
I am criticizing them if they're gimmick, is that they're

got runs all over yourself, dude, do the through the
crucifix before. It's just like nothing about him makes sense.

was a little bit confusing, but Babyfaces went into a
double head scissors, which my god, God bless Chelsea. She

kind of flipped herself well by herself though, and then
she got the button shots to the head from Lola
and Lola who went and like kicked Ethan and that's
gonna come up like come back in the match later

shall see tag. And here's when I was talking about
using the WWE style with Lucha. You know in Luca,
so most of the time the girls will fight the guys,
it doesn't matter. But with WWE, we have the regular

mixed tag where when there's a woman in the ring,
you gotta tag in, and usually there's always that awkward
pause when there's a tag and then the other person
has to tag. This time, as soon as Chelsea tagged,
Iguana just jump in and they kept on rolling and
they did that the whole match, and I just felt

the flowing of the match was so much better this way,
and you kind of forgot that women and men could
not fight because they were going in and out like
really fast. There was not that time, which I thought
was perfect. Is otherwise these matches, it just gets awkward
and it's like why, And it's maybe because four of.

The people were always doing something, so even if they
weren't in the ring, they were outside drawing, they were
there were no lulls. I mean it was it was
a little silly, but intergender matches are little silly. Plus
you have Luca, which is silly. Plus you have a
guy that acts like an iguana. That's silly, and a puppet.
It's not even a stuff that animal, it's a hollow
puppet that that you know, people who seem to be

afraid of and they seem to be afraid of people
when they lie in the back and you know, put
their limbs up which I guess is what iguanas do.
I mean that reminds me of Armadillo's but okay, I
know possums. But I thought I thought this was fun.
This match was fun and wholesome in a in a
you know, violent, that wholesome way. But I think I
know that was fine. Chelsea cracks me up, like, I mean,

the only thing, like, I don't know if I love
this about Chelsea, I don't love it, but like whenever
she does anything the work, she always looks like she's surprised,
Like even if she decidedly worked like three seconds earlier,
she still looks like she's surprised. That like, who it worked,
but they got.

The heat using Layeska and she I it happened kind
of fast, but I felt like Chelsea disposed of Layska
and she's like, whoop, she was out, and then they
got the heat on that and there was a cool
there's a cool move that Eaton Page does which is
like a full power slam, but he did it before
in the match, and then when he tried again Iguana

turning into a tornado. DDT went into the attack with
Lola coming in like really strong and using her combo
kicks and into a like a running hip attack, but
at this point it's a running big buck attack. It's
not the hip. The full ass in the fucking face

to everybody's delight. And she there was that little sequence
with Paige and that kind of gave like the the
opportunity for Iguana to jump and do an actual dive
to the outside. And as soon as they got back
in being Paige and in Iguana, he Paige tried to

pick up Iguana, and actually, I'm sorry, Iguana went to
submission and hit the referee while he was trying to
put on the submission, and that's where the kendostick came in.
And you know, Ethan was like waiting to hit like
like he actually pushed Lola before, so people like got

fucking mad that that was cool. That's a good way
to you know, the women and the men are not
touching each other, but when it actually happens, it means something.
So here as soon as he pushed her, like, the
crowd was like so fucking pissed. And then Iguana, being
the gentleman that he is, when Eaton Page went to

hit Lola with the candle, Iguana pushed her and took
the hit and one two three that was it a
successful title defense for Chelsea and using a Cando stick
while the referee was still down, and yeah, that's how
the match ended. And there was a surprise for Ethan

being yo, they'll Ducktor Wagner and there was like a
little brawl to keep going like their dispute that they
had I think for over two shows now and even
Wagner's showing up at the NXT, so it's going and
like in both promotions, which is pretty cool, and they're
really buildinging up and we could even see like Chelsea

hitting Wagner with her belt and Page grabbing the three
championships being his you know, his mixedtag is Amar Northern
American and Wagner's belt which is the Latino Americano Triple
A belt. So is Eaton Page going to be a
triple champion or is the Wagner going to pick up

like the North American champion and maybe do a few
spots at n XT. I mean, boat options are are
pretty cool and interesting.

Really greatest North American ever, Ethan Page, And kudos to
the chivalrous amphibian mister Iguana that was. That was lovely.

Damian Priest, you know, yeah, you had a good run,

And the way he makes Urikan Rana's are like fucking crazy,
like even the one he took from to the Outside
and from mister Iguana. The way he flips on them
like right on the spot, it's like so impressive, like

It's just beyond that. It's like every Remember we talked
about Hayes Jamison, how how she made every part of
the environment part of her part of the story. Ethan
Age does the same thing, and I guess I never
noticed it before. I don't know why, but and Chelsea

shine at the beginning from from Lee and there's people
are booing Viking Go, blind tags himself, and right right
from the start you see there's some dissensions between Lee
and Viking Go. And then people are going like grondy

moon he does, And that's why I was saying at
the beginning of this, like he reminds me so much
of El Santo's. Like he the way he poses, and
he does something cool and he stops and he looks

I was like, my fucking god, who would have thought.
He goes into this vertical stance and then he's clapping
with his boots to get the people in the crowd,

ope spots and it's like reverse reaction from the crowd.

this is so good. There was a blind tag from Lee,
which you know, and he goes for a dive and
Vikingo like stops him for him to do his own dive.

There was like the dragon went flying from the top rope.
Both went into an argument pushing and which Dominic and
Grande went into a double baseball slide. There was a
little bit of schmas outside using the rails, using the stairs,
big overhand shops and it's like, okay, this is so Mexico.

know if you notice, but when Grande Americano went on
the top rope, and he did he was going for
the ten punches. People went oleo, le gronde, girnde. Each
time they would say Grande Grande, he would hit grande

the crowd and go with what they were giving him
and goes into that Edie Guerrero three amigos, but stops

and he goes for that flipped to the inside like

goes to tag Viking Goo, and that's where you could
really see Viking is a heel. Now he's in the ring,
He's putting heat on dom He He slows down the
pace and you know you see him and Lee like
they're boat cursing at each other. Lee finally goes in

does the warriors way in the corner the stomp one
two and VIKINGO refused to tag him in, but he
he does with its foot. It's like okay, that's okay whatever,
and then crashes to the map with Dumb giving him
like a like a nasty mitchinocle driver. And then they're

like got the people going into again reverse but still
Dong tags in Grande and Viking go tags in Lee
and that's babyface come back from Grande from the hot tag,
because you know, people chose them as the baby faces.
And I like the way Rende was working where he

would bump Lee, but he would he would always get
rid of VIKINGO. Who was on the corner, either with
a drop kick, a forearm, anything, and then he went
for like a walk walk into the ropes like kind
of blockbuster, and everybody was in the ring, put the
metal plate in its freaking head, goes with the head
butt and then there was like on the pinfall. I

thirty or six something like. It landed hard and dad
Don goes for the six one nine, Lee moves super
kicks and then Tiger bombs in and then so La Monteto.
