Late Monday, the President responded to Irunian demands that compensation
be paid in order to reopen the strait of poor moves.
President Trump posted a true social in part, but it
is an interesting idea because now I am likewise demanding
compensation from Iran for all of the people that they
have killed and gravely wounded with their roadside bombs, and
many conflicts for which they are famous as led initially

by General Solomony, including the families of those killed on
the USS coal and thousands of others killed in combat. Now,
he said the families of killed protesters should also be compensated.
The remarks do come as questions loom about the possibility
of a diplomatic solution to reopen the street.

Earthquake oppened in the western parts of the country, rocking buildings,
toppling some and tramping people inside. You could also see
in videos posted on social media debris raining down from
some of those buildings that were hit during the earthquake.

Rescue efforts are under way to find survivors who may
be trapped under the rubble of those collapsed buildings. The
epicenter of the quake was located some two west of
the capital city of Bogatah, with reports it could be
felt in parts of Venezuela, Ecuador.

In Panama, one person is dead after a Wayne County crash.
Troopers say a logging truck overturned yesterday afternoon on State
Route twenty one near Temple Road in Palmyra. The victim

the death of a two year old Rochester boy now
headed to a grand jury.

India. Duncan and Joshua Valz appeared in court Monday morning
on murder charges tied to the death of Isaiah Jones,
also known as Isaiah Vallez. Police say the toddler was
found unresponsible on Mother's Day and later died from his injuries.
Court records alleged to the pair Isaiah's soul caregivers subjected
him to repeated physical abuse, including blunt forrest trauma to

year old Rochester boy we've seen in a viral video

pressuring customers to buy candy. Property owners requested he'd be
trespassed and arrested. Officers say the teen resisted arrest, was

Appreciate it, stud Good morning Rochester. The teenager's name is
Shamar Jones. As referenced to, he is sixteen years of age,
and it says released to family. I don't know that
he has a lot of contact with his family. He
and the mother of a friend with whom he's living
gave an interview yesterday wherein he told his side of

this story. Now, before we go down that road, here's
my thought and observation.
Speaker 9 (04:06):
You're Ontikuwait.
Speaker 8 (04:07):
Police department is an outstanding agency. Stores have the right
to control their property and who comes on that property,
and that if people don't act consistent with behavior standards
that those stores or other property owners have for that property,
they absolutely can ask to have people removed, and those
(04:29):
who refuse to do so can be charged with trespass.
This whole matter, at least the public attention focused upon it,
arose out of a video which shows the young man
being arrested. I have looked at that video over and over.
Maybe I'm looking at it sideways or whatever, but I
(04:50):
don't see anything in that video whatsoever that seems off
base or out of line. They're two officers, there's a
teenage young man. The teenage young man is not over
enthused about what's going on. He does not seem to
be violently resisting or does it look like he particularly
(05:15):
has the capability to as the officers very clearly, being professionals,
have the matter well in hand. I don't see anything
to be criticized in the actions of the police in
him being taken into custody, as demonstrated on that video.
In an interview yesterday which he gave to the people
(05:36):
at GSL News, the sixteen year old involved here, Samar Jones,
says that he buys the candy at Dollar Tree and
then he resells it. This is not an uncommon practice,
You'll see it every now and again. One aspect of it,
(05:59):
to be honest with you, is the young man has
what most of us would consider a speech impediment, and
so as he approaches people and is selling candy, it
is quite possible that there could be some misapprehension or
miscommunication or misunderstanding about what exactly is going on here.
(06:19):
And you know, he does approach people as they walk,
he does approach people as they're in their cars. His
intentions may be completely innocent. They would not always be
understood as innocent. However, people could become confused or make assumptions.
(06:40):
Here's why you know, we have judges. Right, he's been
charged with trespassing. This will go before I suspect and
rondo Quoite Town judge, and the judge will look at
the matter. The judge will hear from the police. The
judge will hear from the young man, and the judge
will make some determination here. The young man says that,
(07:03):
you know, he needs money to pay for his phone bill,
to pay for some he liked to get some clothes
for school, and you know, he liked to save up
and get an scooter one day. He doesn't live with
his family. The mother of a friend of his from
school took him in, this sixteen year old when it
(07:25):
became obvious that the little boy, I'm sorry, the sixteen
year old did not have you know, a home, and
the mother of the friend, in the interview with GSL
News describes him as a good boy, says he goes
to school. You know, maybe that's true, maybe it's not.
(07:46):
And at any rate, in the interview, he doesn't come
off like a criminal. Unfortunately, he wasn't asked in the
interview about the specific allegation that he had got and
in fights with people who didn't purchase his product. That
is a seemingly significant thing. I would note, however, that
(08:08):
he was not charged with anything that would correlate to
fighting with people at any rate.
Speaker 9 (08:15):
That's the story, and.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
Again that's why we have judges to look at these
matters and to find justice.

Maybe the young man does something wrong it needs to
be punished.
Speaker 8 (08:28):
Maybe the judge will find that the actions were less
sinister than they may have appeared, and that there might
be some other outcome for this that would be appropriate.
There is a GoFundMe that's been set up for the
young man. The lady he's staying with the family he's
staying with says he needs a haircut and that he
(08:49):
needs again clothes for school. You know, I'm not a
big pusher of GoFundMe, and I'm not declaring here publicly
that this is a kid worthy of donations, but that's
what people are laying out there. If you want to

X and a judge for yourself. But I have high
(09:12):
confidence in the Irontiquois Police Department and in its chief
and its practices.

I think that they did their duty.

They're asked to remove the young man by a landlord.
He's trespassing, and they charged him appropriately. He had to
be taken into custody. He was taken into custody appropriately.
Makes sense to me. Could his side of the story
that he's not a bad guy, that's just out there
trying to sell candy. Could that also be true? Certainly right,

But like I said, that's why we have judges. It's

what Richmond in Ontario County. Beautiful Richmond in Ontario County.
It was what night before last? And there's a gentleman.
He owns a property. The property has those surveillance cameras
where you get the app on your phone or something
like that.

He apparently lives somewhere near.
Speaker 8 (10:41):
That property, but not on that property. So he is
at his domicile wherever that might be, and he gets
an alert on his phone that someone is in his property,
and so he can look on there and he sees
from the cameras that there is a car in the
driveway and an intruder in his a property, a building,
(11:02):
whether it's a house or a business, I don't think
we know. So what he does is he goes to
that property. He apparently takes a shotgun. He finds an
automobile in the driveway. He believes that this is the
automobile associated with the presumed burglars inside, and he shoots
(11:26):
out the tires on the car and the driveway with
his twelve gage shotgun. Inside, in fact, are two burglars
identified as Alexandria Moser nineteen in Dominic Wood twenty two.
At any rate, these apparent burglars inside, they hear the
(11:48):
gunfire right outside the building where they are, and they
call nine to one one. You don't get a lot
of the criminal calling nine one one, but you know,
they're pretty stupid to be burglars, but they were probably
pretty smart to call nine one one.

It was the appropriate thing to do.
Speaker 8 (12:05):
And they apparently tell the nine one one communicator just
exactly what the situation is. Okay, where we broke into
a building. There's a guy out front, and he just
shot our tires. Please send help and at any rate
they now. The man who's outside with the shotgun. He
as he left his house, he called nine one one

as well, right, and he was on the phone with
the communicator from the dispatch center all the way there.
So nine one one is talking to people on both
sides of this incident. The two burglars, they come out,
they surrender themselves to the property owner who has them
(12:49):
at gunpoint until deputies arrive. More than that, in the moment,

us a little more sun for the afternoon temperature toops
out today, probably about eighty degrees. Chance of a morning shower,
nothing significant seventy, the temperature at eight twenty one, and
you're listening to news radio Wham eleven eighty. So the
story we're talking about is out of beautiful Richmond in Ontario,
(13:41):
County nine before last. A couple young people eighteen and
twenty two decide foolishly they're going to go burglarize someone
else's property. Well, someone else has cameras on that property,
a house or a business or something like that, and
that someone else lived not so far down the road.
The app tells some else that there's somebody in his property,
(14:02):
and he grabs a shotgun, drives down there all the way.
He's on nine one one, telling them what he's doing,
where he's going. He gets there and he shoots out
the tires on the getaway car, which is parked in
the driveway. The report of the shotgun caught the attention
of the burglars, probably focus tip, and they from inside
(14:25):
the building and where they are engaged in this burglaring
called nine one themselves explain their situation, and at any rate,
I am pretty sure deputies were coming at a pretty
good clip, and out came the two burglars, and they
surrendered to the property owner and he held them there
until deputies arrived. Now I have two reactions to this.
(14:51):
One is to go, hell, yeah, right, and the other
is to go, don't do that. I'm not a police
officer or a lawyer or anything else like that, But
there are other jurisdictions where that property owner I think
may have ended up with a little bit of trouble
(15:12):
with the law himself. First of all, you know, you're
taking a shotgun, which is an implement in this circumstance
of potential deadly force. And uh, you are not defending
yourself in a location. You are going to some other
location where you seek to you know, engage other people
(15:36):
and you know, influence their conduct. So you're you're taking
a gun to the party, and you're it's you can
defend yourself if somebody's coming after you, if someone comes
into the building where you are, uh, and if they
pose a threat to you, then you can use a
deadly force. I don't know about driving down the road
(15:57):
and going to where.

The problem is.

If there's someone down there who needs to be defended,
then I'll race it down there. But if we're going
down there to you know, get burglars in a house,
I don't know if I go there with a deadly
weapon and then you have the discharge of the firearm,
and from a practical standpoint, I see that you are
(16:23):
disabling the vehicle, and in common sense world, that makes sense. Okay,
I'll see what you're doing. But you live in New York,
not in common sense world, and you know you you
could get in trouble for that. I mean, and depending
(16:44):
on the jurisdiction and the attitude I think of prosecutors
and police, I think that you could get in trouble
for that. And you know, I suspect that probably the
cops would tell you, and maybe the person you took
your concealed carry a class from would tell you that
(17:04):
going to another location to make direct contact with a person,
you know, you may be getting out of the realm
where New York State sees that you are engaged in
a legitimate act of self defense, and you could be
getting into a situation where.

You can be charged.

I'd also point out that you know, in the town
of Richmond, where you know a lot of people deer
hunt in their backyard, there is no ordinance against the
discharge of a firearm.

But you know, if you were in a.

Village or a city or something like that, and some
towns do have, you know, anti discharge ordinances.
Speaker 9 (17:44):
You might be breaking that.
Speaker 8 (17:46):
So I applaud the effort, the purpose, the intent of
the property owner.

But you know, there are.
Speaker 8 (17:56):
Some who might say, let's you know, maybe maybe go
and establish a perimeter, right, Maybe go and keep an
eye on things across the road or down the road
or something like that until the deputies arrive with the
troopers and let them take care of business. But uh,
you know, when you go shooting out tires, you got
to hope that the bad guy doesn't have a gun

himself and isn't standing off one of those windows up
there about to put one through you.

You know what I'm saying.

So I'm glad that the bad guys were stopped. I
would just say to the good guys, this is of

You recall that President Trump was in Anchora, Turkey a
bit ago for a meeting, and he flew over there
in that new Katari Air Force one, a gift from
the royal family. Whoever those folks are over there, And
you recall that they flew over an old Air Force one,

and they said that the new one didn't yet have
the defense capabilities that were necessary to protect the president
in kind of a hot environment. And so the Qatari
Air Force one flew ahead to England. The old Air
Force one carried the president. And then we were told
(19:44):
that in England the President transferred from the old Air
Force one to the Katari Air Force one. It turns out,
according to reporting in the Washington Post, that that's not
what happened. That there was perceived by our government to
be a credible assassination attempt being plotted by the Iranians
(20:09):
against our president. And so the situation was, We've got
the President United States over in Turkey and there is
again a credible effort afoot to kill him on his
way back.

And so what do we do. Well, here's what happened.

They flew the old Air Force.

One across the Atlantic.

When I say old, completely operational, has all the security
stuff is in tip top shape. But they fly the
old one over. The President goes out to the airport,
he boards Air Force One, stands at the top of
the stairs, turns and waves at the people like he does,
and then goes inside right, and they continue to prepare

the aircraft for departure, and that aircraft shortly thereafter, in
fact did depart and it flew to England. But when
that aircraft took off, President Trump was not a board.

got the presidented states, he's an anchor a Turkey, had
a big meeting. You are at war, of course with Iraq,
and American intelligence discovers that there is a credible threat,
an assassination plot is afoot to kill President Trump. You've
got to get him from Turkey back to the US.

He went over in the Qatari Air Force one. They
flew over the old Air Force one. He boards that
plane shortly thereafter, takes off. But here's the deal. Afraid
that there may have been an effort to attack that
plane or its passengers at some point on takeoff, flight

or arrival. What the security folks did was while the
President was loading onto the old air Force one. There
was at the back of the aircraft.

Have you ever seen those catering.
Speaker 8 (22:58):
Trucks, food service truck they'll elevate kind of on a
caliper type lift and be up against one of the
back exits. Well, President Trump got on air Force one
and walked the length of the aircraft, got into that
food service container on the you know, a scissor lift

in the back, and they closed that up, They lowered
that down, took that off. It went over to another
United States flagged aircraft, a C thirty two A, an
aircraft typically used to transport say Secretary of State, first lady,
(23:43):
Vice president. It's like our second tier executive transport aircraft,
and the catering you know, a little vehicle lifted the
container up, put it against the back exit of that
C thirty two A, and President Trump boarded that aircraft.
And after the two air Force ones had taken off
(24:07):
and left, he and that C thirty two A taxi
to the runway and took off and landed in England,
where yes, he threw similar kind of you know trickery,
was loaded onto the Katari Air Force one and then
(24:30):
flown to the United States. It's kind of, I don't know,
pretty impressive to me and and pretty smart. Interesting deal
is that almost nobody knew about the security move. Almost
nobody knew about the security threat. There were a whole
plane full of government officials and reporters who were on
(24:55):
the old Air Force one flying from Turkey to England
confident that's somewhere up a few little you know, sections
of the plane was a happily resting Donald Jay Trump.
But at any rate, I am grateful that we had
the surveillance capabilities. I'm grateful that the all the aircraft

traveled safely, and I'm grateful that we're leaning forward in
terms of executive protection and taking care of our elected officials.

man who was a member of the Alfred Lions Club
down in Alleghany, County Alfred. And he had perfect attendance
for forty four years at the Alfred Lions Club. That's
pretty good. That is pretty dang good. That's the kind
of steadiness of reliability I think the world could use

a little more of. I voted for President Trump three times,
and you know, more often than not his policies and
his inclinations make sense to me. But we ought to
remember that in life, different people are good at different things, right,
(27:05):
Different people are educated in different fields. Different people will
have expertise in different things. If you have a problem
with you know, your heat or your air conditioner or
something like that, you don't go to a plumber. You
go to an HVAC person, and that individual's expertise will
be a great blessing to you.

You know.

Likewise, if your car breaks down, the plumber may not
be the best person to speak with. You need an
auto mechanic. All of which is to say that, you know,
Donald Trump may have certain capabilities as an elected leader,
but he is not a medical doctor. And yesterday he
(27:48):
signed an executive order, and you know, we get executive
order signings on a pretty regular basis here of late.
But in this executive order, he calls for the federal
government to change the number and timing of childhood vaccines.
And you know, he talks again about you know, his
(28:11):
I don't know his in his mind, there exists a
possibility that vaccines cause autism whatever else like that. I'd
plently like to say that, you know, I want my
politicians to do political stuff, and I want my doctor
to do doctor stuff. And I believe that you know,
your family probably has a medical doctor. And I believe
(28:34):
that any decisions about your health or maybe more importantly,
the health of your children should be made in consultation
with your doctor, who has expertise, who went to college
for this stuff year upon year upon year, who treats
your family, who presumably has some personal regard for you
and your children. You know, as to vaccines causing autism,
(28:59):
it is noteworthy that in our population we had a
dramatic spike in the use of vaccines as they are invented,
and we had a dramatic spike and autism. These two spikes, however,
were forty years apart, and if vaccines were in any
way correlated with autism, then it would seem that autism
(29:20):
would have arisen as vaccines arose in our population. But
it did not what we call autism. Whatever is going
on there, or the variety of things that are going
on there, there is no correlation in time between autism
(29:41):
and vaccines. And further, you know, there have been over
and over again studies which have shown studies by Republican doctors,
Democrat doctors, American doctors, foreign doctors, cross eyed doctors, left
handed doctors, whatever hell kind of doctor you want, there
(30:02):
have been studies that have shown over and over there
is no correlation or causation involving vaccines and autism. What
is clear and undeniable, though, is that the advent of
vaccines in the United States, commencing about nineteen sixty or so,
has dramatically reduced the incidents of childhood death. Right there
(30:28):
are people alive today of whom you or I may
be one because of childhood vaccines. Do not make medical
decisions based on your political passions. You have a doctor.
Talk to your doctor, follow his or her advice. Always
take a break, time for news. Back after that with

the USS coal and thousands of others killed in combat. Now,
he said the families of killed protesters should also be compensated.
The remarks do come as questions loom about the possibility

Earthquake oppened in the western parts of the country, rocking buildings,
toppling some and tramping people inside. You could also see
in videos posted on social media debris raining down from
some of those buildings that were hit during the earthquake.

Rescue efforts are under way to find survivors who may
be trapped under the rubble of those collapsed buildings. The
epicenter of the quake was located some two west of
the capital city of Bogatah, with reports it could be
felt in parts of Venezuela, Ecuador.

In Panama, one person is dead after a Wayne County crash.
Troopers say a logging truck overturned yesterday afternoon on State
Route twenty one near Temple Road in Palmyra. The victim
yet to be identified and no other injuries were reported.

the death of a two year old Rochester boy now
headed to a grand jury.

India. Duncan and Joshua Valz appeared in court Monday morning
on murder charges tied to the death of Isaiah Jones,
also known as Isaiah Vallez. Police say the toddler was
found unresponsible on Mother's Day and later died from his injuries.
Court records alleged to the pair Isaiah's soul caregivers subjected
him to repeated physical abuse, including blunt forrest trauma to

the head. At the hospital, he at bruises even bite

year old Rochester boy we've seen in a viral video

pressuring customers to buy candy. Property owners requested he'd be
trespassed and arrested. Officers say the teen resisted arrest, was

Shamar Jones. As referenced to, he is sixteen years of age,
and it says released to family. I don't know that
he has a lot of contact with his family. He
and the mother of a friend with whom he's living
gave an interview yesterday wherein he told his side of
(04:00):
this story. Now, before we go down that road, here's
my thought and observation.
Speaker 9 (04:06):
You're Ontikuwait.
Speaker 8 (04:07):
Police department is an outstanding agency. Stores have the right
to control their property and who comes on that property,
and that if people don't act consistent with behavior standards
that those stores or other property owners have for that property,
they absolutely can ask to have people removed, and those
(04:29):
who refuse to do so can be charged with trespass.
This whole matter, at least the public attention focused upon it,
arose out of a video which shows the young man
being arrested. I have looked at that video over and over.
Maybe I'm looking at it sideways or whatever, but I
(04:50):
don't see anything in that video whatsoever that seems off
base or out of line. They're two officers, there's a
teenage young man. The teenage young man is not over
enthused about what's going on. He does not seem to
be violently resisting or does it look like he particularly
(05:15):
has the capability to as the officers very clearly, being professionals,
have the matter well in hand. I don't see anything
to be criticized in the actions of the police in
him being taken into custody, as demonstrated on that video.
In an interview yesterday which he gave to the people
(05:36):
at GSL News, the sixteen year old involved here, Samar Jones,
says that he buys the candy at Dollar Tree and
then he resells it. This is not an uncommon practice,
You'll see it every now and again. One aspect of it,
(05:59):
to be honest with you, is the young man has
what most of us would consider a speech impediment, and
so as he approaches people and is selling candy, it
is quite possible that there could be some misapprehension or
miscommunication or misunderstanding about what exactly is going on here.
(06:19):
And you know, he does approach people as they walk,
he does approach people as they're in their cars. His
intentions may be completely innocent. They would not always be
understood as innocent. However, people could become confused or make assumptions.
(06:40):
Here's why you know, we have judges. Right, he's been
charged with trespassing. This will go before I suspect and
rondo Quoite Town judge, and the judge will look at
the matter. The judge will hear from the police. The
judge will hear from the young man, and the judge
will make some determination here. The young man says that,
(07:03):
you know, he needs money to pay for his phone bill,
to pay for some he liked to get some clothes
for school, and you know, he liked to save up
and get an scooter one day. He doesn't live with
his family. The mother of a friend of his from
school took him in, this sixteen year old when it
(07:25):
became obvious that the little boy, I'm sorry, the sixteen
year old did not have you know, a home, and
the mother of the friend, in the interview with GSL
News describes him as a good boy, says he goes
to school. You know, maybe that's true, maybe it's not.
(07:46):
And at any rate, in the interview, he doesn't come
off like a criminal. Unfortunately, he wasn't asked in the
interview about the specific allegation that he had got and
in fights with people who didn't purchase his product. That
is a seemingly significant thing. I would note, however, that
(08:08):
he was not charged with anything that would correlate to
fighting with people at any rate.

That's the story, and.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
Again that's why we have judges to look at these
matters and to find justice.
Speaker 9 (08:24):
Maybe the young man does something wrong it needs to
be punished.
Speaker 8 (08:28):
Maybe the judge will find that the actions were less
sinister than they may have appeared, and that there might
be some other outcome for this that would be appropriate.
There is a GoFundMe that's been set up for the
young man. The lady he's staying with the family he's
staying with says he needs a haircut and that he
(08:49):
needs again clothes for school. You know, I'm not a
big pusher of GoFundMe, and I'm not declaring here publicly
that this is a kid worthy of donations, but that's
what people are laying out there. If you want to

X and a judge for yourself. But I have high
(09:12):
confidence in the Irontiquois Police Department and in its chief
and its practices.

I think that they did their duty.

They're asked to remove the young man by a landlord.
He's trespassing, and they charged him appropriately. He had to
be taken into custody. He was taken into custody appropriately.
Makes sense to me. Could his side of the story
that he's not a bad guy, that's just out there
trying to sell candy. Could that also be true? Certainly right,
(09:41):
But like I said, that's why we have judges. It's

what Richmond in Ontario County. Beautiful Richmond in Ontario County.
It was what night before last? And there's a gentleman.
He owns a property. The property has those surveillance cameras
where you get the app on your phone or something
like that.

He apparently lives somewhere near.
Speaker 8 (10:41):
That property, but not on that property. So he is
at his domicile wherever that might be, and he gets
an alert on his phone that someone is in his property,
and so he can look on there and he sees
from the cameras that there is a car in the
driveway and an intruder in his a property, a building,
(11:02):
whether it's a house or a business, I don't think
we know. So what he does is he goes to
that property. He apparently takes a shotgun. He finds an
automobile in the driveway. He believes that this is the
automobile associated with the presumed burglars inside, and he shoots
(11:26):
out the tires on the car and the driveway with
his twelve gage shotgun. Inside, in fact, are two burglars
identified as Alexandria Moser nineteen in Dominic Wood twenty two.
At any rate, these apparent burglars inside, they hear the
(11:48):
gunfire right outside the building where they are, and they
call nine to one one. You don't get a lot
of the criminal calling nine one one, but you know,
they're pretty stupid to be burglars, but they were probably
pretty smart to call nine one one.

It was the appropriate thing to do.
Speaker 8 (12:05):
And they apparently tell the nine one one communicator just
exactly what the situation is. Okay, where we broke into
a building. There's a guy out front, and he just
shot our tires. Please send help and at any rate
they now. The man who's outside with the shotgun. He
as he left his house, he called nine one one
(12:27):
as well, right, and he was on the phone with
the communicator from the dispatch center all the way there.
So nine one one is talking to people on both
sides of this incident. The two burglars, they come out,
they surrender themselves to the property owner who has them
(12:49):
at gunpoint until deputies arrive. More than that, in the moment,

out today, probably about eighty degrees. Chance of a morning shower,
nothing significant seventy, the temperature at eight twenty one, and

story we're talking about is out of beautiful Richmond in Ontario,
(13:41):
County nine before last. A couple young people eighteen and
twenty two decide foolishly they're going to go burglarize someone
else's property. Well, someone else has cameras on that property,
a house or a business or something like that, and
that someone else lived not so far down the road.
The app tells some else that there's somebody in his property,
(14:02):
and he grabs a shotgun, drives down there all the way.
He's on nine one one, telling them what he's doing,
where he's going. He gets there and he shoots out
the tires on the getaway car, which is parked in
the driveway. The report of the shotgun caught the attention
of the burglars, probably focus tip, and they from inside
(14:25):
the building and where they are engaged in this burglaring
called nine one themselves explain their situation, and at any rate,
I am pretty sure deputies were coming at a pretty
good clip, and out came the two burglars, and they
surrendered to the property owner and he held them there
until deputies arrived. Now I have two reactions to this.
(14:51):
One is to go, hell, yeah, right, and the other
is to go, don't do that. I'm not a police
officer or a lawyer or anything else like that, But
there are other jurisdictions where that property owner I think
may have ended up with a little bit of trouble
(15:12):
with the law himself. First of all, you know, you're
taking a shotgun, which is an implement in this circumstance
of potential deadly force. And uh, you are not defending
yourself in a location. You are going to some other
location where you seek to you know, engage other people
(15:36):
and you know, influence their conduct. So you're you're taking
a gun to the party, and you're it's you can
defend yourself if somebody's coming after you, if someone comes
into the building where you are, uh, and if they
pose a threat to you, then you can use a
deadly force. I don't know about driving down the road
(15:57):
and going to where.

The problem is.
Speaker 8 (16:00):
If there's someone down there who needs to be defended,
then I'll race it down there. But if we're going
down there to you know, get burglars in a house,
I don't know if I go there with a deadly
weapon and then you have the discharge of the firearm,
and from a practical standpoint, I see that you are
(16:23):
disabling the vehicle, and in common sense world, that makes sense. Okay,
I'll see what you're doing. But you live in New York,
not in common sense world, and you know you you
could get in trouble for that. I mean, and depending
(16:44):
on the jurisdiction and the attitude I think of prosecutors
and police, I think that you could get in trouble
for that. And you know, I suspect that probably the
cops would tell you, and maybe the person you took
your concealed carry a class from would tell you that
(17:04):
going to another location to make direct contact with a person,
you know, you may be getting out of the realm
where New York State sees that you are engaged in
a legitimate act of self defense, and you could be
getting into a situation where.

You can be charged.

Right.

I'd also point out that you know, in the town
of Richmond, where you know a lot of people deer
hunt in their backyard, there is no ordinance against the
discharge of a firearm.

But you know, if you were in a.
Speaker 8 (17:37):
Village or a city or something like that, and some
towns do have, you know, anti discharge ordinances.
Speaker 9 (17:44):
You might be breaking that.
Speaker 8 (17:46):
So I applaud the effort, the purpose, the intent of
the property owner.
Speaker 9 (17:54):
But you know, there are.
Speaker 8 (17:56):
Some who might say, let's you know, maybe maybe go
and establish a perimeter, right, Maybe go and keep an
eye on things across the road or down the road
or something like that until the deputies arrive with the
troopers and let them take care of business. But uh,
you know, when you go shooting out tires, you got
to hope that the bad guy doesn't have a gun
(18:17):
himself and isn't standing off one of those windows up
there about to put one through you.

You know what I'm saying.

So I'm glad that the bad guys were stopped. I
would just say to the good guys, this is of

and they said that the new one didn't yet have
the defense capabilities that were necessary to protect the president
in kind of a hot environment. And so the Qatari
Air Force one flew ahead to England. The old Air
Force one carried the president. And then we were told

that in England the President transferred from the old Air
Force one to the Katari Air Force one. It turns out,
according to reporting in the Washington Post, that that's not
what happened. That there was perceived by our government to
be a credible assassination attempt being plotted by the Iranians
(20:09):
against our president. And so the situation was, We've got
the President United States over in Turkey and there is
again a credible effort afoot to kill him on his
way back.

And so what do we do. Well, here's what happened.

They flew the old Air Force.

One across the Atlantic.

When I say old, completely operational, has all the security
stuff is in tip top shape. But they fly the
old one over. The President goes out to the airport,
he boards Air Force One, stands at the top of
the stairs, turns and waves at the people like he does,
and then goes inside right, and they continue to prepare

the aircraft for departure, and that aircraft shortly thereafter, in
fact did depart and it flew to England. But when
that aircraft took off, President Trump was not a board.

a big meeting. You are at war, of course with Iraq,
and American intelligence discovers that there is a credible threat,
an assassination plot is afoot to kill President Trump. You've
got to get him from Turkey back to the US.

He went over in the Qatari Air Force one. They
flew over the old Air Force one. He boards that
plane shortly thereafter, takes off. But here's the deal. Afraid
that there may have been an effort to attack that
plane or its passengers at some point on takeoff, flight

or arrival. What the security folks did was while the
President was loading onto the old air Force one. There
was at the back of the aircraft.

Have you ever seen those catering.

Trucks, food service truck they'll elevate kind of on a
caliper type lift and be up against one of the
back exits. Well, President Trump got on air Force one
and walked the length of the aircraft, got into that
food service container on the you know, a scissor lift

in the back, and they closed that up, They lowered
that down, took that off. It went over to another
United States flagged aircraft, a C thirty two A, an
aircraft typically used to transport say Secretary of State, first lady,
(23:43):
Vice president. It's like our second tier executive transport aircraft,
and the catering you know, a little vehicle lifted the
container up, put it against the back exit of that
C thirty two A, and President Trump boarded that aircraft.
And after the two air Force ones had taken off
(24:07):
and left, he and that C thirty two A taxi
to the runway and took off and landed in England,
where yes, he threw similar kind of you know trickery,
was loaded onto the Katari Air Force one and then
(24:30):
flown to the United States. It's kind of, I don't know,
pretty impressive to me and and pretty smart. Interesting deal
is that almost nobody knew about the security move. Almost
nobody knew about the security threat. There were a whole
plane full of government officials and reporters who were on
(24:55):
the old Air Force one flying from Turkey to England
confident that's somewhere up a few little you know, sections
of the plane was a happily resting Donald Jay Trump.
But at any rate, I am grateful that we had
the surveillance capabilities. I'm grateful that the all the aircraft

traveled safely, and I'm grateful that we're leaning forward in
terms of executive protection and taking care of our elected officials.

of steadiness of reliability I think the world could use

a little more of. I voted for President Trump three times,
and you know, more often than not his policies and
his inclinations make sense to me. But we ought to
remember that in life, different people are good at different things, right,

Different people are educated in different fields. Different people will
have expertise in different things. If you have a problem
with you know, your heat or your air conditioner or
something like that, you don't go to a plumber. You
go to an HVAC person, and that individual's expertise will
be a great blessing to you.

Likewise, if your car breaks down, the plumber may not
be the best person to speak with. You need an
auto mechanic. All of which is to say that, you know,
Donald Trump may have certain capabilities as an elected leader,
but he is not a medical doctor. And yesterday he

signed an executive order, and you know, we get executive
order signings on a pretty regular basis here of late.
But in this executive order, he calls for the federal
government to change the number and timing of childhood vaccines.
And you know, he talks again about you know, his
(28:11):
I don't know his in his mind, there exists a
possibility that vaccines cause autism whatever else like that. I'd
plently like to say that, you know, I want my
politicians to do political stuff, and I want my doctor
to do doctor stuff. And I believe that you know,
your family probably has a medical doctor. And I believe
(28:34):
that any decisions about your health or maybe more importantly,
the health of your children should be made in consultation
with your doctor, who has expertise, who went to college
for this stuff year upon year upon year, who treats
your family, who presumably has some personal regard for you
and your children. You know, as to vaccines causing autism,
(28:59):
it is noteworthy that in our population we had a
dramatic spike in the use of vaccines as they are invented,
and we had a dramatic spike and autism. These two spikes, however,
were forty years apart, and if vaccines were in any
way correlated with autism, then it would seem that autism
(29:20):
would have arisen as vaccines arose in our population. But
it did not what we call autism. Whatever is going
on there, or the variety of things that are going
on there, there is no correlation in time between autism
(29:41):
and vaccines. And further, you know, there have been over
and over again studies which have shown studies by Republican doctors,
Democrat doctors, American doctors, foreign doctors, cross eyed doctors, left
handed doctors, whatever hell kind of doctor you want, there
(30:02):
have been studies that have shown over and over there
is no correlation or causation involving vaccines and autism. What
is clear and undeniable, though, is that the advent of
vaccines in the United States, commencing about nineteen sixty or so,
has dramatically reduced the incidents of childhood death. Right there
(30:28):
are people alive today of whom you or I may
be one because of childhood vaccines. Do not make medical
decisions based on your political passions. You have a doctor.
Talk to your doctor, follow his or her advice. Always
