It's partly sunny in seventy three degrees. It is seventy
two right now in Mendon. Seven oh two on Rochester

of an Inning a Rochester randing critical but stable condition
after a stabbing on the city's southwest side. Police say
the forty six year old was slashed on Fillmore Street
between Western Chileah Avenues just before two thirty this morning.

Investigators still working to determine what led up to then attack,
and no rests have been made. Monroe County is responding
to outcry after the death of a two year old
Isaiah Jones.

County officials say state law prevents them from discussing possible
child protective services involvement, but in internal review they say
is underway. The county has also asked the state Office
of Children and Family Services to examine protocols and procedures
as investigators work to determine whether any changes are needed.
Police say India Duncan and Joshua Velez repeatedly abuse the

child between May eighth and May tenth, causing severe head injuries,
bruising and bite marks. Isaiah died day after being taken

There's another court hearing today for the suspect of the
nineteen ninety two Rochester murder, Arthur Jason Junior, charged with
secondary murder and the death of Victoria Johnson. Police a
Jason stamped Jobson to death in October nineteen ninety two
and did bury her body before moving the body to
a vacant lot on Rudder Street. Jason was arrested back
in November twenty twenty four. Codefend at Roy Green was
extradited from Canada in January to also face a murder charge.

He appeared in court last week. Four young men facing
gun charges after a stop on Rochester's northeast side. Police
said they stopped at car just after six point thirty
last night in Portland Avenue, just off Clifford and they
found a loaded handgun inside. The four range from sixteen
to twenty years old. Mayor Malik Evans is renewed Rochester's
gun violence Emergency Order.

Wednesday's orders cite sixty six shootings in ninety victims so
far this year. The order bans outdoor gatherings of ten
or more people between eleven PM and five am, with
exceptions for permitted events, emergencies, work obligations, or protests. Extension

the hospital. Both of them are being held without bail.

but Rochester ran is critically wounded in a Southwest signed stabbing.
Police say someone slashed the forty six year old men
on Fillmore Avenue between Western Childa Avenues just before two
thirty this morning. The victim is in critical but stable condition.

Investigators are still piecing together what led up to the stabbing,
and there are no rests. A Rochester mother and her boyfriend,
charnsh was secondary murder and the death of two year
old Isaiah Jones. Police say India Duncan and Joshua Veles
repeatedly abused the child between a eighth and tenth causing
severe head injuries, bruising and bite marks. Isaiah died eight
days after arriving at the hospital. Rochester Police Captain Frank
Colinbrado says it's a tragic case.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time where I've seen
these types of injuries on a child, but it was disgusting.

There is another court here today for a suspect into
nineteen ninety two Rochester murder.
