Cindy is a women’s health advocate, entrepreneur and executive based in Raleigh, NC. Cindy co-founded Sprout Pharmaceuticals in 2012 and it was under her tenure as Chief Executive Officer that Sprout achieved FDA approval of the first-ever women’s sexual dysfunction drug, Addyi. Prior to Sprout Pharmaceuticals, Cindy co-founded and led all operational functions at Slate Pharmaceuticals. Slate Pharmaceuticals commercialized the first FDA-approved long-acting testosterone preparation for men, Testopel, in the field of sexual medicine. Cindy led the sale of the Slate to GTCR/Actient Pharmaceuticals in December 2011.
Cindy has 22 years of experience in healthcare including roles at Merck & Co., Inc, Dura Pharmaceuticals, Elan Pharmaceuticals and Truth in Beauty.
