We need practice seeing without our own identity filters. When we notice an upset, we pause and realize we are not upset for the reason we think, but because are seeing our past thoughts. So we let the Holy Spirit reinterpret for us. We are careful to lay aside our opinions, to not justify our grievances, to not defend ourselves and to not draw conclusions.
