RadioMD News... I'm John Byrd.Hundreds of individuals across the country have been arrested for committing nearly $1 billion in Medicare fraud, reports the U.S. Department of Justice. It's the largest takedown in history, both in terms of the number of people charged and the loss amount. Macadamia nuts sold at Whole Foods are being recalled because of Salmonella concerns, reports the FDA. The macadamia nuts had been supplied to the grocery chain by Marin Food Specialties. No illnesses have been reported thus far.And... years of working long hours may be good for your career, but the hours may take a steep toll on your health, especially women, new research says. Women who worked more than 60 hours a week were found to have substantially higher rates of chronic disease later in life. The same was not found to be true with men.
